The Flock and the Wolf 00:05:11
It's called the mystery of the wolves.
That's in that album.
But it's also, there's a little thing in the book.
Here's the thing.
You know, in the Bible, God is, God is called the shepherd.
He's the shepherd of Israel.
Messiah is the good shepherd.
He's the shepherd.
Israel is called the flock of God.
Now, in we who are born again are also God's flock, obviously.
But the first flock was Israel.
He says, this is my flock.
Now, actually, in the book of Mysteries, where it is is that they're watching, the teacher and the disciple are, it's getting dark, and they're watching a shepherd in the desert with a flock.
And as he goes off, they see a wolf trailing the flock.
So that brings up the mystery of the wolf.
Now, the wolf is the enemy of the flock.
The wolf is the enemy of the shepherd.
Who is the wolf?
What's the wolf speaking of?
It's speaking of Satan.
He's ravenous.
He's deceptive.
He wants to destroy every work of God if he could.
And what does a wolf do?
A wolf, their strategy is first they try to hem the flock in.
They try to herd the flock and get it into a place where they can't get out, where they're trapped.
They panic.
They sow confusion.
That's what they do.
They actually sow confusion.
But also, they will try to separate the weak.
Anything that's weak, they'll go for it.
They'll separate the weak.
Any sheep that is away from the flock, if you're away from the flock, they'll try to go for it.
They'll try to separate the young from the mother, the old or the lame or the weak.
That's what they try to separate it.
And they try to strike it.
Well, the Bible says that Messiah, it's a prophecy.
If the shepherd is struck down, the sheep will be scattered.
So here, what happens if a shepherd is struck down?
The sheep will wander off.
They'll be vulnerable to the wolf, to the predators.
2,000 years ago, Messiah, who is the shepherd, who is the true shepherd, struck down.
The sheep of Israel were separated from their shepherd.
What happened?
So think about it.
You want to talk about proof of Messiah?
What happened?
They're vulnerable.
They're attacked, attacked, attacked by the wolves.
Even back in Ezekiel, Ezekiel, God says, my flock wandered the earth and all the beasts of the field attacked them and devoured them until I came for them myself.
Now here's the thing.
Now here's the thing, to how real the Bible is, how real God is, how real the enemy is, how real this thing is.
Who were the greatest predators of the Jewish people in history?
The Nazis were.
Right.
The greatest.
The most terrible, you know, to attack the flock.
The Nazis attacked the flock.
I looked into this.
This is since we were last year.
Fascinating thing.
Looked into it and deeper into it.
And first of all, their strategy was that of the wolf.
What do they do?
They rounded up the flock.
They rounded up the Jewish people.
They transported them.
They used terror.
And what did they do when they got to those camps?
They separated the weak.
They separated the old.
They separated the mothers from the children.
They did exactly what wolves do.
Wolves.
But here, look deeper.
The founder of the Nazi Party, the Germans' Worker Party was called, one of Hitler's idols was a man named Karl.
His last name was Wolf.
It was Karl Wolf.
Wolf founded that.
He persuaded that.
One of the key founders who came up with the name Nazi Party was named Rudolf Jung.
Rudolf means wolf.
The chief of staff of the SS named Carl Wolf.
The commander of the SS in Crimea was also, his name meant wolf.
Hitler's secretary was named Johanna Wolf.
The SS commandment of Auschwitz was called the wolf.
I mean, on and on, the deputy Rudolf Hess, famous Nazi under Hitler, his name means the wolf.
When I looked at a list of the worst Nazis, you'd see the name Wolf again and again and again.
Who was the head of it?
Who was the worst enemy?
Hitler.
Hitler was.
Well, first of all, Hitler, one of the things about it, he named his headquarters.
He named it Wolfschanz.
He named another one Wolfschluck.
He named another one werewolf.
Where he stayed during the war was called the Wolf's Lair.
It was called the Wolf's Glen.
He called his submarines the Wolfpacks.
Well, in an Austrian village, a woman named Clara has a baby, calls him Adolphus or Adolf.
Adolf means the wolf.
Adolf means the wolf, the wolf.
And so hear how real the Bible is.
And then God says, when he says they're going to be attacked by all their enemies, but then he says, on that day, he says, I'm going to come looking for my flock.
And on that day, I'm going to bring them back to Israel.
I'm going to bring them back.
And it's amazing.
It's just when the wolf dies, when the Nazis are defeated, when the wolves are, that's when God brings them all back to the land of Israel, the land of Israel.
And in the end, the ultimate thing is, you know, the ultimate thing is, so, number one, this is real.
We've got a real enemy, and we have to know it.
We've got a real enemy.
Number two, though, with all that, in the end, God, the shepherd, wins.
In the end, there's not a wolf on the throne, there's the lamb on the throne.
I mean, that's crazy.
In the end, he wins.
In the end, still, still, with all that, with all that, all the wolves are going to be defeated.
All the wolf is going to be defeated.
Stay Far From Temptation 00:00:38
But Israel is alive today because the shepherd of Israel lives, because Messiah is still there.
He's the one who gathered them by not just the Father.
The Son has gathered them back to his womb.
So be encouraged too, because if you fight, you're going to prevail.
You're going to be able to do that.
And you know, you actually have this in your book on page 252, The Mystery of the Wolf.
And you say the mission for that day that the teacher is teaching the disciple: the mission is this: Today, stay as far away from temptation as you can and as close to the Lord.
Far from the wolf and near to the shepherd.
