Why The Shepherds Ignore Their Flock 00:02:59
Why do you believe people just aren't recognizing we're there?
We're living in the Revelation days, and yet millions don't even have any idea what's going on, and they think God somehow is going to just wink at America forever.
I had a word this morning sent from a great Christian friend of mine.
It was Ezekiel 34, 2.
To paraphrase it, God's telling Ezekiel that the keepers of the flock, the shepherds of the flock, are looking after their own interests and not the interests of the flock.
And so the pastors are looking out for their own interests, their pensions, their accommodations, their salary, while their people are being unprepared.
And one day, and I'll quote Jim on this, one day people are going to be looking at their pastors angry, asking, why didn't you warn me?
That's right.
I was a pre-trib guy for years.
I read every Hagee book and LaHaye and you name it.
I read Revelations 50 times over my lifetime.
I was really interested in this.
I was led by the Spirit to rethink it.
And that's a great way to come to truth.
Not to read something or have somebody tell you, but the Holy Spirit come in and start calling your attention to it.
And I realized that the pre-trib rapture was just not biblically based, that it certainly wasn't obvious in my life where I was saving and preparing and living within my means.
And I came to know that we are going to go through difficult times as Christians.
And that those pastors that are telling people, nope, you're going to be checking out of here and you're going to avoid all the trouble.
You don't need to prepare anything.
You don't need to, there's no urgency.
It's all going to be great.
That's a tool of the enemy.
In fact, that why came about in about the year 1800.
It didn't exist in church history prior to that time, where the church began to be told that there will be a rapture and it'll be before the troubles begin.
Now, there will be a rapture, but it ain't going to happen before we have to suffer in a world that's going to come under judgment.
And so I tell people, if you're going to a church where your pastor is passing on the myth that the rapture is going to get you out of trouble and you just don't need to worry about these kind of things, you need to go to scripture and study this and read materials that will give you insight to the truth.
May Save Your Family 00:00:08
Because the truth on this may save your family and you, their very lives, certainly misery.
