9-11 Effect Prayed
00:04:28
|
|
| We think we're godly. | |
| We think America hasn't been godly. | |
| And for us to have a second chance, we better crowd to God. | |
| Our churches should be full. | |
| You were saying something about your church. | |
| There's an effect. | |
| There was like a 9-11 effect. | |
| Yeah. | |
| And what's this? | |
| You were saying something. | |
| Do you understand what I'm saying? | |
| Yes, I know exactly what you're talking about, Pastor Jim. | |
| What I'm the most concerned about, folks, is this. | |
| I see this great excitement because the church prayed and we called out to heaven and we implored one another. | |
| This show, I think, probably swayed millions of people when it comes right down to it. | |
| And because we saw what was happening with this spiritual demonic battle, the globalists and national sovereignty, we were panicking. | |
| The church was panicking. | |
| We realized we could lose it all with this election. | |
| And everything that comes after that politically, Supreme Court elections, federal courts, et cetera, borders, everything. | |
| We could lose it all. | |
| And so we cried out to heaven. | |
| We asked for breathing room. | |
| We got it. | |
| Here's my concern. | |
| Remember, I've been in the ministry 30 years now in one church. | |
| I've been in the ministry a little longer than 30 years, but in one church. | |
| Here's my concern. | |
| I pray that this dynamic, Pastor Jim, doesn't happen this time. | |
| But my biggest concern is, is that the church will say, we won. | |
| We've got our, and nobody would use the word savior for Donald Trump, but let's just say, metaphorically speaking, we've got our savior. | |
| Now we can go back to fighting over the color of carpet and the size of our buildings and our budgets. | |
| Are we there? | |
| Let me just say, and here's why I have that fear. | |
| Because in that church, I was pastoring that church when the Gulf War broke out. | |
| I was there before the Gulf War. | |
| But when the Gulf War broke out in 1991, I was there. | |
| And I can remember the night. | |
| It was a Wednesday night. | |
| I'll tell you how I remember it because CNN was just, I think they're only like a decade old. | |
| And they were airing our attack on Iraq. | |
| Yes. | |
| Remember. | |
| Live. | |
| And Saddam Hussein was shooting scuds into Israel and promising the mother of all wars. | |
| You remember that? | |
| Oh, yes. | |
| And of course, people were saying, is this biblical? | |
| Is this biblical? | |
| Is this biblical? | |
| Is this prophetic? | |
| My immediate answer to them was, at the time, I said, I can't take you to a passage and verse, but how could it not be prophetic? | |
| How could it not be biblical? | |
| And I said, it's got to tie in with the word of God. | |
| Well, now I know how it does tie in. | |
| But the point is, Pastor Jim, is that the people in that day flocked to our churches? | |
| My phone was ringing off a hook. | |
| I need counseling. | |
| I need ministry. | |
| I need to get saved. | |
| The pews were packed. | |
| People come. | |
| And then 100 days later, the coalition in America, and we beat back this guy that was running his mouth and everything. | |
| And everything was fine. | |
| And the church is emptied. | |
| Ten years later, 9-11, retaliation for American infidel forces in the Middle East. | |
| According to Osama bin Laden, the World Trade Center has come down. | |
| I was sitting in a hospital ministering to a family of a woman that was having surgery, watching the television. | |
| I saw it live. | |
| I saw it happen. | |
| Because the first plane hit, and they were, you know, they were right there. | |
| And then they had the cameras going and the second plane hit live. | |
| I saw it. | |
| I said to everybody in that waiting room, it was a large hospital, large waiting room. | |
| I said, this is an act of terrorism. | |
| This changes everything. | |
| Those were my words. | |
| Wow. | |
| I didn't know they would be so prophetic. | |
| I had no idea. | |
| That's just what came out of my mouth as I'm watching it on TV. | |
| You know what happened? | |
| Phone ringing off a hook. | |
| I need to get saved. | |
| I need to come to church. | |
| Pastor, I need some counseling. | |
| What's happening? | |
| Is this biblical? | |
| Is this prophetic? | |
| Is the world coming to an end? | |
| And my answer then was, how can it not be prophetic? | |
| But our president, bless his heart, got up and says, we will. | |
| We will avenge. | |
| We will take care of this. | |
| We sent troops into Iraq, sent troops into Afghanistan. | |
| We're going about it, you know, and bombs are dropping, and everybody said, okay, back to lattes and football games. | |

Church Cry Out
00:00:33
|
|
| And the church is emptied. | |
| Yeah. | |
| It's true. | |
| And now we came right up against it again. | |
| This has been a spiritual 9-11. | |
| We came right up against it. | |
| And the church cried out, Lord, deliver us. | |
| Give us some breathing room. | |
| Open some windows. | |
| You know, all of us, we went to the airwaves. | |
| We used whatever platform God gave us. | |
| We convinced the church, get out, get out and vote. | |
| And they did, and we won. | |
| And I'm so terrified that the church is going to go back to sleep. | |
