Increase of Earthquakes 00:14:30
Hello, everybody, and welcome to today's episode of Revelation in the News.
I'm your host, Zach Drew, and I'm Andrew Bellars.
Today, we have a jam-packed day.
There's been so much news recently going on that deals with prophetic events.
We're going to be dealing with the recent earthquakes that have been taking place along the ring of fire.
What does the word of God have to say about it?
We're going to be tackling some of David Wilkerson's prophecies, and we're also going to be speaking about transgenderism and abortion.
So, it's going to be a jam-packed day.
So, really, buckle up.
I mean, it's going to be crazy today.
Yeah, and I'm excited to get into it.
I mean, it's just, it really is all this information that we have.
It really is showing the times that we're in.
And Jesus said that we have to know that the times that we're in, we have to know because scripture says that you are made for a time such as this.
And if you don't know what that time is, then you can't really be using by God in the way that he wants you to be used.
That's right.
You know, like you said, yes, we have to understand the times that we're living in.
Well, how do we understand the times that we're living in?
The word of God tells us what we can expect in different generations.
And right now, I really believe, and I know that we hear this all the time, but I honestly, truly believe that within our generation, we will see the Lord's return.
So, whenever you study the prophetic events of what the world is going to be like before he returns, you're going to find yourself in many different places in Ezekiel and Daniel, the book of Revelation, but also places like Matthew 24, Luke 13, Mark 13, and Luke 21.
And so, if you deal with things like Matthew 24, you're going to see things where Jesus says, Listen, before I return, you're going to see nation rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom.
You're going to see epidemics or even famines and earthquakes in many places or diverse places.
Yeah, and we've seen all of these things throughout the time when Jesus said that up until now.
And there's been a lot of confusion.
You know, a lot of people have seen those signs and they thought that we were coming towards the end.
But I think the key is that there's two keys.
One is that all of these signs happen, they're all happening at the same time because they're not spread out, and they're happening more and more in greater amounts as they happen.
That's right.
You know, it says, So the disciples came to Jesus and said, What will the world look like before you return?
And I'm going to read it for you.
He says, You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed.
Such things must happen, but the end is still yet to come.
He says that nation will rise against nation.
Now, that word nation, this is key.
That word nation in the Greek is ethnos, which is where we get our word ethnic from.
So it's saying, Before the time that I return, in a greater proportion than usual, so to speak, you're going to see ethnic group rise against ethnic group.
I believe we're seeing that right now.
It also says that nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom.
It says that there will be famines, or your Bible says there will be a time where there's no food to eat, and there will be earthquakes in many or various places, but all these are the beginning of sorrows or the birth pains.
Your translation might say.
And whether you believe that we're going to go through the last days of tribulation, whether we're out of here in the beginning, the middle or the end, you can find some common ground with these first eight verses of Matthew 24.
We all believe, whether you believe pre-trib, mid-trib, or post-trib, that we're all going to be going through these first eight verses of Matthew 24, the nation rise against nation, famines, these particular verses that Jesus talks about.
But I want to ask you a question: Did you know that there has been a massive influx of earthquakes in the world in the last couple of decades?
I've been researching.
You can find this for yourself on the U.S. Geological Survey.
Type in earthquakes and go to their archives, and you can actually type it in with whatever you would like to see from different dates of how many earthquakes took place in the world.
In the 1970s, this really should shock you.
In the 1970s, the world was experienced.
I have my notes here.
1973, 4,500 earthquakes.
1974, 4,528 earthquakes.
And in the 1970s and 80s, you were seeing anywhere between 4 to 5 to 6 to 7,000 earthquakes every single year.
Okay, well, what's the big deal, Zach?
It doesn't seem like a big deal until you enter around the year 2000.
And out of absolutely nowhere, in the year 2000, it jumped up to over 20,000 earthquakes a year.
That's a 400% increase out of nowhere.
Now, Jesus said, before I return, you're going to see many earthquakes in diverse places.
There's going to be an increase of earthquakes.
So you're jumping up from 4,000 to 5,000 a year to over 20,000 a year, a 400% increase.
And you're seeing that from 2000 to 2001 to 2002, 2003, you're seeing 19,000, 23,000, 25,000, 21, 20, it just, it differs a little bit.
So there is an increase.
It's like, okay, Zach, well, that's pretty cool, but it gets cooler.
In 2013, so let's do 2012 first.
In 2012, once again, there was 19,492 earthquakes.
In 2003, it jumped up.
And in 2003, the world experienced over 89,000 earthquakes.
2013.
Yeah, excuse me.
I said 2003?
Yeah.
Yes, in 2013, we experienced over 89,000 earthquakes.
That's insane.
That's almost, that's not almost.
It's more than 20 times what it was in the 70s.
Exactly.
And then in 2014, 118,000 earthquakes.
Last year in 2015, over 118,000 earthquakes again.
Already, we're in April of 2016, and we've already experienced right at 40,000 earthquakes just in the first four months.
We are experiencing 4,000, 5, and 6,000 earthquakes every year in the 1970s.
Does this sound like an increase of earthquakes?
Does this sound like Jesus' words being fulfilled?
I would suggest to you, are we currently right now, as you and I sit here, are we in the time of sorrows?
Are we in the birth pains?
Now, who knows how long the birth pains last?
It could be five years, 10 years, it could be 50 years, but we know that it comes before the great tribulation, Daniel's 70th week.
I would argue that we are.
And the prophets have been saying that there's a shaking coming.
And I think that's on multiple levels.
But I think on one level it is.
It is the literal earth shaking.
I mean, in the past week's time, we've had two major earthquakes, seven plus magnitude.
One of them was in Ecuador.
I have an article right here from NPR that says hundreds dead, thousands homeless after a quake in Ecuador.
A 7.8 magnitude earthquake in Ecuador has left more than 350 people dead and many more injured.
And there was a couple in Japan, a 6.0.
I believe there was another one that was over 7.0 in Japan.
Yeah, this one is from The Guardian says a 7.3 magnitude earthquake struck at about 1.30 a.m. in Japan.
Yeah, and RT News I have right here says the big ones.
Scientists warns up to four quakes over 8.0 are possible under the current conditions that the Ring of Fire is experiencing.
It says the devastating earthquakes in Ecuador might just be the beginning, according to a seismologist who says that current conditions in the Pacific Rim could trigger at least four quakes with magnitudes of greater than 8.0.
Right now, along the Ring of Fire, this article talks about how there's 38 volcanoes currently erupting.
And also, it says in Japan, at least 42 people have been killed, and the number actually went up since then with the 6.5 and 7.3 earthquake that you were talking about.
But here's what's interesting.
The next paragraph in this article says this.
Scientists at Tokyo University estimate that there is a 98% chance that in the next 30 years, Japan will be hit by an earthquake equivalent to the earthquake that it experienced in 1923, which measured an 8.9 and killed an estimated 142,800 people.
Okay, so Zach, what does that have to do with revelation events?
Okay, yes, Japan, Ecuador, if there was just some isolated earthquakes, it'd be one thing.
But it's these earthquakes, the increase of large earthquakes, and the general increase of earthquakes altogether.
118,000 last year alone.
David Wilkerson prophesied in his book, The Vision, in 1974 about a coming great earthquake to America as a sign of judgment.
And we're going to talk about judgment in just a moment.
Let me read this little excerpt from The Vision from David Wilkerson in 1974.
He said this.
The United States is going to experience in the not too distant future the most tragic earthquakes in its history.
That's plural.
One day soon, this nation will be reeling under the impact of the biggest news story of modern times.
It will be coverage of the biggest, most disastrous earthquake in history.
It will cause widespread panic and fear.
Without a doubt, it will become one of the most completely reported earthquakes ever.
Television networks will suspend all programming and carry all day coverage.
Another earthquake, wow, another earthquake, possibly in Japan, may precede the one that I see coming here.
There is not the slightest doubt in my mind about this forthcoming massive earthquake in our continent.
He says, I'm not all convinced that this earthquake will take place in California, but I believe it is going to take place where it is least expected.
And this terrible earthquake may happen in an area not known as an earthquake belt.
It will be so high on the Richter scale that it will trigger two other major earthquakes in America.
So he said that there could possibly be a huge earthquake in Japan that precedes the one that comes to America.
What did we experience in March 2011?
We experienced just that.
Exactly.
A 9.0 earthquake.
The Fukushima.
You remember that?
I do.
Over 15,000 people died.
Has it already happened?
Has the first part of this prophecy already taken place?
Should we be looking for a huge catastrophic event coming to America?
And Rick Joyner, I believe, confirmed this.
He said that they also received a vision from God that there would be a huge earthquake in Japan.
And then, well, there would be two.
There'd be one in Japan and there'd be one in America.
And the one in Japan would come first.
And then the one in America.
And it could happen at any point.
It really could because we have faults that are just ready to go off when you look at the San Andreas Fault and you look at the Cascadia Fault.
I mean, really anything could happen at any point.
But let's talk about judgment.
You see, these things aren't coming upon the world, aren't coming upon America by happenstance, okay?
It's judgment.
It's judgment.
It's God's judgment upon America.
And here's the thing.
We talk about judgment coming to America, judgment coming to America, but we never really seem like we deal with the root of the problem.
Why is judgment coming to America?
Let me tell you that if you do not live for God, if you do not follow his way and his word, you leave the protection of God and you open up yourself to judgment.
In the same way in the Old Testament, whenever the prophets of the Old Testament, this is the Bible people, whenever they would say, this is going to happen to you, Israel.
This is going to happen to you, Judah, these horrible catastrophes that was going to take place.
It wasn't because they were living so righteously.
It was because they had known the ways of God and they had left the ways of God and judgment came.
It's so frustrating to me, Andrew.
I'm on my soapbox right now.
It's so frustrating to hear Christians complaining about people like myself that say that judgment is coming upon the world.
It's Christians, excuse me, coming upon America.
And it's Christians that are saying this.
And I think to myself, they say God wouldn't do that.
Maybe not your God, but the God of the Bible will.
When it says that we neglect his ways, he says that he will send judgment by his hand.
And the reason is that God is a just God.
God cannot tolerate injustice forever.
Just like if you're walking down the street and you see someone being abused, you can't tolerate that.
You know, maybe in the moment you can step in and actually intervene physically.
Maybe you have to call the cops, but you're not going to walk by and do nothing about it because injustice is happening in front of you and you can't tolerate it.
And in the Old Testament, in the New Testament, we see God's judgment.
We see prophecy of God's judgment.
And the reason for his judgment is correction, but it's also justice because when you do things, there are consequences to those things that you do.
Exactly.
When you know the ways of God and you've experienced his goodness and you walk away, you can experience the judgment of God.
Now, this works on a personal level.
Whenever you've known the way on a personal level and you walk away, you remove yourself from the protection of the Lord.
And the same thing happens on a national scale.
And America has known the goodness of God.
America has followed the ways of the Lord.
But we can just simply turn on our computer, go to the Drudge Report, Fox News, and CNN, and we can clearly see that we want to have nothing to do with God anymore.
And Christians are surprised whenever I say judgment is coming.
America's Double Shame 00:03:50
It doesn't make any sense.
We are currently in the days of Lot.
I mean, Sodom and Gomorrah, I feel, pale.
They pale in comparison to what America is currently doing.
Yeah, absolutely.
I think part of that is because we do live in a time when where it says the Spirit is poured out on all flesh and we're living in that time.
And I think we're held as accountable as we have information.
As much as God has given us, that's how much he holds us accountable.
And we've experienced so much through Christ in this nation.
And we've given God so much and we've been so close to him that now because we've fallen, because we've known the right way and because we've veered from it, I think that's why judgment is coming so greatly on us.
Let me read to you some days of lot articles, okay?
Right here from the Associated Press, the Holy Bible on list of challenged books at libraries in the United States.
Here's another.
This is a big one.
America is number one at something.
Unfortunately, it's porn websites.
America is once again leading the world at manufacturing something.
Unfortunately, it's not cars or the latest smartphones or tablet computers.
We're leading the world in the hosting of internet porn websites and we lead by a lot.
As evidenced by the above graphic on the article, the USA hosts 60% of all porn websites in the world.
That figure translates to, are you ready for this?
In America alone, we produce over 428 million pornographic websites.
It has a list here of the top 10 countries that distribute the most pornographic material as far as websites go.
On the 10th, the 9th, the 8th, the 7th, and the 6th, you're looking at 1.4 million, 1.4 million, 1.9 million, 2.3 million, 2.3 million, 5.5 million.
The fourth is 8.2 million.
The third jumps up, the United Kingdom, 52.2 million.
Then it jumps up big time to the second, the Netherlands, 187.2 million pornographic websites.
But we in America are double that.
We're double that.
At 428.3 million pornographic websites.
And of that, of the 50 states in America, over 66% alone comes from the state of California.
Is this why people who are stating judgments coming to California?
That's definitely part of it.
And honestly, these statistics are shocking.
Shocking that we lead in pornographic websites and the second nation under us, the Netherlands, we produce twice as many as them.
And it's because we're living in this time where people are governed by their desires.
They're governed by their feelings, by the lust of the flesh.
And their God has really become their belly.
And they don't want anyone to come against them and say what they're doing is wrong.
And so they're trying to shut out the church.
They're trying to conform the church to the way of the world.
There's an article right here from Lightsight News that says, Christian churches must be made to affirm homosexuality, says New York Times columnist.
It says a New York Times columnist and a corporate leader have agreed that Christian churches must be convinced or coerced to change their teachings on sexual morality and abandon an ossified doctrinal teaching that sex outside heterosexual marriage is immoral.
Isaiah's Prophecy: Evil Called Good 00:06:12
Here's another one from WND, an expert says government schools destroying belief in Christianity.
Here's an article from a couple months ago, as you probably remember.
It says, Fox, Lucifer, TV show, Satanic Deception Goes Prime Time.
A whole television show dedicated to Lucifer.
Andrew, you have another article.
Take that article right now.
Well, I think when you're looking at judgment in America, you have to look at why is God bringing judgment?
And it's because we are just throwing, we're flying in the face of the things that he's called us to do, of his commandments.
We're saying that we know better and what we want to do.
So in this country specifically, there's a trend currently that is, it's honestly disgusting and it's concerning and it's putting people in jeopardy.
There's an article right here from Daily News that says, conservative group boycotts Target after big box store announces transgender bathroom policy.
The article says one of the country's biggest retailers is facing a boycott after taking a side in the debate about who can go to the bathroom where.
Target said this week that it would welcome transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity.
And this is, I think one of the reasons that this is really concerning is that statistically, transgenders make up less than 1% of America's population.
But when you look at the statistics for predators and molesters and rape in America, it's significantly higher.
I believe it's one in nine women in their lifetime will have experienced sexual molestation.
So basically, we're opening the doors of these bathrooms to a vulnerable.
Yeah.
Exactly.
Yeah, to our vulnerable women.
You can, wow, see, right there.
I mean, that's enough to say, what in the world is America doing?
I'll tell you what we're doing.
Isaiah prophesied about it.
He says the worst possible thing that could ever happen to a community, he speaks about.
And it's in Isaiah chapter 5, verse 20.
He says, woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness.
That's where we are right now in America.
Here's another article.
Abortion activists says pro-life women, pro-life, are just deluded and brainwashed.
Isaiah 5, 20, they call the good things evil and the evil things good.
And that's not just simply a prophetic time to say, hey, listen, it's a pretty bad thing when this happens.
Isaiah was saying there's nothing worse that can happen.
Once a community gets there, it's the bottom of the barrel.
And I think what's interesting about that is that the pro-choice advocates are saying that women who are pro-life are deluded.
They're basically they've been coerced.
They've been conformed into this societal idea that being healthy, being a healthy woman, which is the way that they look at abortion, is evil.
And really, it's interesting because it is completely the opposite.
I have an article here that says Louisiana House Committee OK's ban on common type of second trimester abortion.
It says the House Health and Welfare Committee passed a bill Wednesday that will ban a type of abortion known as dilation and evacuation or DND, which is the most common type of second trimester abortion.
So what is this kind of method?
Well, it says dilation and evacuation is performed as an outpatient procedure and considered a safe and effective method for aborting a later term pregnancy, according to the American Medical Association Family Guide.
But State Representative Mike Johnson, the author of the legislation, called the practice barbaric because the method involves removing the fetus in pieces.
So basically, this method of abortion, which is the most common type of abortion and second trimester abortions, is they go in and they're literally, I'm sorry to be graphic, but this is the truth.
We don't want to be ignorant to the fact.
They literally go in and pull these babies out in parts, literally like ripping them apart and pulling them out.
And that's just one method of abortion.
And I would encourage you to go, if you have a strong stomach, go and look up the other methods.
But I can promise you that not one of those methods is nice.
All of them are barbaric.
All of them are grotesque.
And all of them have to do with a developing child.
It's clearly a child.
It's not a mass of cells.
It's not this glob, whatever it is, whatever they're calling it.
It's not a fetus.
It is a child.
And I think some of the most disturbing statistics in our country, whenever you look up the leading cause of death in our country in any inquiry, you will find that it says that heart disease is the leading cause of death.
Well, that's not true.
It's not.
Because every year, about 610,000 people die of heart disease in our country.
That's right.
And if you look at the statistics, go online and you can find out that nearly, there are nearly 3,000 abortions every single day in America.
That adds up to it's going to end up being over 1 million abortions every year in America.
Which is insane because that is almost, in some years, it's more than twice as many deaths that happen every year because of heart disease.
The Lord's Judgment on America 00:04:18
That means that the leading cause of death in America every single year is abortion.
Is abortion.
You need to hear that.
The leading single cause of death every year is abortion.
Americans offering their babies on the altar of convenience.
How can a good and just God wink at that?
Now, there is always hope through repentance.
There really is.
We can have an incredible, fantastic revival sweep through America if we repent.
You know, the most unsafe place for a baby to be in America today is inside of its mother's womb.
22% of all pregnancies end in abortion.
But like I said, there is always hope through repentance because we do serve a good God.
Let me read you something.
It says in Deuteronomy 28: if you fully obey the Lord your God and you carefully follow his commands, the Lord your God will set you above all the nations of the earth.
So get this: it says that if you follow the Lord with all of your heart, he will guard you, he will protect you, he will set you above all the other nations of the earth.
And listen to what it says that nation will look like.
It says, You'll be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.
The fruit of your womb will be blessed in the crops of your land and the young of your livestock, the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.
It says, The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you be defeated.
Be defeated.
Some people think our single greatest threat to national security is not ISIS.
It's not whether we build the wall or not build the wall.
It's not North Korea.
It's not Russia or China or any of our mortal enemies.
That's not the single greatest threat to our national security.
It says here that the single greatest threat to our national security is living in stark contrast to how the word of God says to live.
It says, if you follow my commands, if you follow me wholeheartedly, I will uphold your national security.
It says the Lord who will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you.
They will come at you in one direction and flee from you in seven.
It says that you will lend to many nations, but borrow from none.
If you study America's history, you can tell that there was a time period in our history where we followed God.
And how do we know that?
Because it's evident what the blessings of a nation look like that follow God.
That you could basically read the first 14 verses of Deuteronomy 28 of what that nation will look like.
And you'll say, that was America.
That was America.
Past tense.
If you read the next 50 verses in Deuteronomy 28, it starts off by this.
However, if you do not obey the Lord your God and you do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come upon you and overtake you.
And it's just a list.
It says the Lord will, verse 25, the Lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies.
You will come at them from one direction, but flee from them in seven.
Verse 43, the alien, does this sound like us?
The alien who lives amongst you will rise above you higher and higher, but you will sink lower and lower.
He will lend to you, but you will not lend to him.
We have become the greatest debtor nation.
We used to lend to all and borrow from none.
Now we borrow from all and lend to none.
And that is a sign of God's judgment.
He will be the head, but ye will be the tail.
The Lord will bring a nation against you from far away, from the ends of the earth, like an eagle swooping down, a nation whose language you do not understand.
A fierce-looking nation without respect for the old or pity for the young.
It even says here, it says, the Lord will send fearful plagues on you and your descendants, harsh and pro-long disasters.
This is what a nation looks like that does not live for the Lord.
But remember, those first 14 verses, we can turn back to God and receive his blessings again.
But if we don't, we are forcing God to judge America.
This has been Revelation the News.
