Arise, Shine
00:05:47
|
|
| Amen. | |
| Bobby, it's so good to have you back. | |
| Tell me what's been happening. | |
| It's been busy, but good. | |
| Give me a good story. | |
| Good. | |
| Come on, give me a miracle. | |
| What a time. | |
| We've been too negative this week sometimes. | |
| We've been going through some mud files. | |
| And you don't want to stay in the month. | |
| No, here it is. | |
| Psalm 16:11. | |
| In his presence, his fullness of joy. | |
| At his right hand are pleasures forevermore. | |
| I'll tell you, God wants us to learn to enjoy Jesus. | |
| I'm telling you, we are facing dark days, but in the midst of it, God says he's going to cause us to rise and shine. | |
| I'm telling you, it's going to be the best of times and the worst of times. | |
| But I read the back of the book. | |
| You and I win. | |
| Oh, I'm telling you. | |
| Wait a minute. | |
| Yeah. | |
| Say it again. | |
| Yeah, I'll say it. | |
| You said best of times and the worst of times. | |
| See, come on. | |
| You don't get it. | |
| You got to get it. | |
| This is it today. | |
| You've got to have this. | |
| Yeah, Bobby. | |
| I'll tell you what. | |
| People go, do you think we might be under judgment? | |
| Absolutely. | |
| We can't flaunt what we're doing in our nation and not have the judgment of God. | |
| But in the midst of judgment, God will remember mercy. | |
| Remember Habakkuk 3? | |
| Oh, Lord, I heard your report and I was fearful. | |
| But Lord, in your judgments, remember mercy. | |
| I'm telling you, God is a God of mercy. | |
| And He's going to have mercy on His people. | |
| Oh, He's going to love His people. | |
| He is going to love His people. | |
| Do you really believe that it's harvest time coming? | |
| I guarantee it's harvest time. | |
| In this book, I wrote about it. | |
| It's harvest time. | |
| You wrote about it in the new shepherd's shepherd's rod. | |
| Let me just explain a little bit about this. | |
| This is our 20th year to do it. | |
| 20th year to, on the day of atonement, we have this visitation from Jesus Christ. | |
| He'll come tell me some of the things that's going to happen in the future. | |
| I transcribed it in this book called the Shepherd's Rod. | |
| I'll just read the little back flip. | |
| Okay, here it is. | |
| The Spirit of Truth is awakening and arousing a radical remnant of overcomers ready to contend for the faith, ready to challenge change and the course of the church, thus altering the culture in which we live. | |
| We must function as salt and light in a contaminated culture to light the life of Christ. | |
| And this occurs best when we become who God says we are. | |
| We're called to be sons and daughters of the most high God. | |
| I'm telling you, God is going to show us who he is so we'll know who we are. | |
| There's a word coming from heaven, and the word coming from heaven is going to come across the entire body of Christ and it's going to come like a tsunami. | |
| And it's the word awestruck. | |
| Get ready. | |
| God said, This is the year he reintroduces himself to his people. | |
| He told me, he said, the problem is, I get really loud, but I get so excited I could thread a sewing machine and it run him. | |
| Oh, listen. | |
| No, listen. | |
| This is time to be excited, honestly. | |
| I've never seen such a time as the church needs to rise and shine. | |
| Remember Isaiah 60, verse 1 says, Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. | |
| Deep, dense darkness will cover the nations, but the Lord's radiant light will be seen upon you. | |
| Yes, it's going to get dark. | |
| Remember, the Bible says it says, Prophet, prophet, watchman, watchman, what do you see? | |
| He said, I see two strange things, night and light. | |
| So we're living in a time when the dark is going to get darker, but the radical remnant is going to get brighter and brighter. | |
| I read the back, listen, you and I are destined to win. | |
| Romans 8:37 says, Yet amid all these things, we're super overcomers, absolutely invincible in Christ. | |
| Isn't that true? | |
| Yes. | |
| I tell you, 1 John 4:4 says, Greater, superior in power and intellect is he that's in you than he that's in the world. | |
| Look at your neighbor and say, We're more than conquerors, we're more than conquerors. | |
| Say it like you mean it. | |
| We're more than conquerors. | |
| We're more than conquerors. | |
| The Bible said, If God be for us, who can be against us? | |
| And we're absolutely sure God is for us. | |
| In this book, the Lord said, I'm going to cause my people to see my goodness in such a way they're awestruck. | |
| He said, Tell my people, prepare to be surprised. | |
| And here it is, Habakkuk 1:5. | |
| It says, God will do a work in our day. | |
| It'll be so marvelous, so magnificent, we barely can believe it. | |
| It said, when the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, then were we like them that dreamed? | |
| Then was our mouth filled with laughter and our tongue was singing. | |
| Then said they among the heathen, the Lord has done great things for them. | |
| God is going to do a work in our day in such a magnitude, even the heathen will go, did you see that? | |
| God is up to something. | |
| This is the time. | |
| This is the time God answers the hiss of the heathen. | |
| The heathen have been mocking the church. | |
| The media and the heathen, they're going, ha, where is your God? | |
| Well, this is the year he answers it. | |
| This is Psalms 115, verse 3. | |
| It says, God is going to be mighty in the midst of his people. | |
| So God is going to answer the hiss. | |
| Where is your God? | |
| He's going to be mighty in the midst of his people. | |
| I'm telling you, God is going to rise up in you. | |
| It's time for the eagles of God to soar and the lions of God to roar. | |
| You believe that? | |
| See, soar and roar. | |
| Say it. | |
| Soar and roar. | |
| We're to soar into the heavenlies and we're to roar in this earth. | |
| Amos 3, 8 says, A lion has roared in the streets. | |
| Who can but prophesy? | |
| I'll tell you, yes, Jesus was a lamb, but he's the lion now. | |
| Say the lion. | |
| I'm telling you guys, we're going to find out there's a conflict going on, but we're super victorious. | |
| I'll tell you where we are prophetically. | |
| We're right smack dab in the book of Jude. | |
| We're in the book of Jude. | |
| Remember, Jude said, I picked up my pen to write to you. | |
| I was going to write to you concerning the common salvation, not common in everyday, but common in Hebrews 6:1, the elementary rudimentary principles of Christianity. | |
|
Stand Up and Roar
00:01:51
|
|
| But it says in the Bible, I got possessed. | |
| I was overcome. | |
| I was under compulsion to write to you, the saints of God, that you would earnestly contend for the faith. | |
| This is not a time to roll over and play dead. | |
| This is a time to stand up and roar. | |
| We've got to contend for the faith because it says, Certain men have crept in unawares, teaching the saints of God. | |
| It doesn't matter how you live. | |
| Live however you want to. | |
| I'm here to tell you, it does matter how you live. | |
| Now, I've got a warning for all the preachers. | |
| I got a warning for all the preachers. | |
| Now, listen to me. | |
| The Lord came to me. | |
| He said, the biggest battlefront is going to be for truth. | |
| He gave me Proverbs 23, 23. | |
| Proverbs 23, 23 says, pay the price for truth and don't sell it for anything. | |
| Pay the price for truth. | |
| What are you talking about? | |
| Truth is going to be very costly. | |
| When we start telling the truth about the truth, and we start telling the truth about same-sex marriages, we start telling the truth about ordaining homosexuals to the ministry. | |
| It's going to be costly. | |
| But I'm telling you guys, we better get back into this book. | |
| Our problem is we're way too conscious of trying to be politically correct. | |
| And we're selling out biblical accuracy for political correctness. | |
| And now listen, God's going to hold us accountable for that. | |
| So preachers, pay the price for truth and don't sell it for anything. | |
| Why is truth so costly? | |
| We cannot sanctify the saints of God apart from truth. | |
| John 17, 17 says, sanctify them through the truth. | |
| Thy word is truth. | |
| We can't clean up the saints and set them apart for the services of God if we're devoid of the truth. | |
| And I'm telling you guys, we need to tell the truth about the truth. | |
| It says, you'll know the truth in what? | |
| The truth will set you free. | |
| It says, who the son sets free is free indeed. | |
| Oh, the word indeed is a courtroom term. | |
| It means irrevocable. | |
| When you're free, you're free. | |
