| Coconut oil has some advantage for this. | |
| One of them is that when you add coconut oil into your food, it has the ability to help satisfy hunger. | |
| So you don't eat as much. | |
| And so you'll be more satisfied for a longer amount of time so that you don't have the tendency to want to snack between meals. | |
| And so that you're not so starved by the time the next meal comes along that you overeat at the next meal. | |
| This has been documented with scientific studies showing that it helps satisfy hunger and cuts down on total calorie consumption. | |
| Another thing is that coconut oil, because of the medium-chain fatty acids and coconut oil, they're actually processed differently in the body. | |
| And so instead of contributing to body fat, the medium-chain fatty acids are actually used to produce energy. | |
| And so you get a boost of energy. | |
| One of the advantages of this is when you have all this energy, you have a tendency to want to use it. | |
| And so you start cleaning the house, going for a jog, doing things. | |
