[00:00:11] That was my next question. [00:00:12] Yeah, tell us about that, doctor. [00:00:14] I'll tell you, after getting through the winter months now, I don't know about you all, but you really do gain a few pounds during the winter months. [00:00:22] And so tell us about that. [00:00:24] So you can use coconut oil as an aid to help you in your weight loss. [00:00:28] Coconut oil has some advantage for this. [00:00:32] One of them is that when you add coconut oil into your food, it has the ability to help satisfy hunger. [00:00:40] So you don't eat as much. [00:00:42] And so you'll be more satisfied for a longer amount of time so that you don't have the tendency to want to snack between meals. [00:00:49] And so that you're not so starved by the time the next meal comes along that you overeat at the next meal. [00:00:55] This has been documented with scientific studies showing that it helps satisfy hunger and cuts down on total calorie consumption. [00:01:05] Another thing is that coconut oil, because of the medium-chain fatty acids and coconut oil, they're actually processed differently in the body. [00:01:13] And so instead of contributing to body fat, the medium-chain fatty acids are actually used to produce energy. [00:01:21] And so you get a boost of energy. [00:01:24] One of the advantages of this is when you have all this energy, you have a tendency to want to use it. [00:01:30] And so you start cleaning the house, going for a jog, doing things. [00:01:34] You become physically more active. [00:01:36] And so you're burning off more calories than you normally would.
