Isaiah 19 Revival
00:03:34
|
|
| I wanted to talk about Isaiah 19. | |
| I don't think we really got into that, did we? | |
| No. | |
| No. | |
| That's another huge one. | |
| When you said what's coming next in the Middle East, I was like, should I do Isaiah 19 or Daniel 8? | |
| We talked about the wars. | |
| And this is the thing, is with prophecy, a lot of people, they talk about the wars, all the bad stuff. | |
| Isaiah 19, there's a lot that we could talk about with Isaiah 19, but one of the things that Isaiah 19 talks about is it concludes with a revival. | |
| First, a prayer movement in Egypt. | |
| By the way, Egypt has one of the most powerful prayer movements in the earth right now. | |
| When we were there, we visited with the leader of the largest Arabic church in the world, Pastor Sama Mouries. | |
| He's in Tahrir, I mean, yeah, right in Tahrir Square, Pastor's Kassel Dubara Church. | |
| And everywhere we went, the Christians were so excited because they were saying more Muslims and nominal Christians were coming to faith in Jesus than at any time they've ever seen. | |
| And, you know, this is one story. | |
| I keep telling the story, but this has happened the week that we were there. | |
| And everyone was so excited about it. | |
| I mean, this was like, good friends of theirs, like, this had just happened. | |
| And I always confirm, I don't ever tell a story unless I make sure I confirm it. | |
| So I've thoroughly confirmed the story. | |
| So a young Christian girl had gotten into a cab, a taxi, and the cab driver was a Salafi. | |
| That's a radical Muslim, the most radical that there are in Egypt. | |
| And all these young Christian girls are being kidnapped. | |
| They're being forced into marriage, etc. | |
| And so she was nervous. | |
| And Jesus spoke to her, and he said, I want you to tell him that I love him. | |
| And she said, no way, he's going to kidnap me. | |
| And the negotiation process began. | |
| I'll just tell him that Allah loves him. | |
| Egyptian Christians call God Allah. | |
| I want you to tell him that Yesua, Jesus loves him. | |
| So finally she said, okay, listen, here's the deal, Jesus. | |
| I'm going to have him take me to a very crowded area so he can't kidnap me. | |
| I'm going to get out of the car first. | |
| I'm going to hand him the money and I'll say, Yesuah loves you, and I'll turn around and kind of take off. | |
| And Jesus says, deal. | |
| I'm telling it my way. | |
| So she has him take her to a different place. | |
| She gets out. | |
| She hands him the money and she says, Yesuah loves you. | |
| And he said, excuse me? | |
| What did you say? | |
| And she said, Yesuah loves you. | |
| And he said, I need to talk to you. | |
| And he said, for the past few weeks, I've been having dreams. | |
| And Jesus has been appearing to me. | |
| And he's been saying all these things that go against the Quran. | |
| And he said, but last night he looked at me very sternly. | |
| And he goes, because I've been disregarding it because it contradicted the Quran. | |
| He said, but last night he looked at me very sternly and he said, so that you will know that it is I who have been speaking to you. | |
| Tomorrow, young Christian girl will get in the taxi. | |
| She'll get out of the taxi. | |
| She will hand you the money and she will tell you that I love you. | |
| I love that. | |
| Wow. | |
| That is so awesome. | |
| It's beautiful, actually. | |
| I mean, we're Cinnabound. | |
| Grace is much more abound. | |
| I know that. | |
| And I know this. | |
| It's all true. | |
| And the craziness of it is all hell is going to break loose, but all heaven is available. | |
