His Face Like the Sun 00:09:21
Let's go to clue number three.
I think we've got about seven clues here, so we got to get moving along.
Clue number three: And his face was as it were the sun.
Read the whole verse for me again.
It says, And I saw another mighty angel or messenger come down from heaven, which is the skies above, clothed with a clue one, the cloud, and clue two, and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun.
All right, this person now, this mighty messenger, we know he's coming in a cloud.
We know he has a rainbow over his head.
Let's go on to Psalms 84:11.
For the Lord God is a son, and that's S-U-N, not S-O-N.
The Lord God is a son and shield.
The Lord will give grace and glory.
No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
That's pretty good scripture.
That's kind of an he's got some blessings.
Let's go to Isaiah 60, verse 19, I believe it is.
The sun shall be no more thy light by day, neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee.
But the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light and thy God, thy glory.
Thy sun shall no more go down, neither shall thy moon withdraw itself, for the Lord shall be thine everlasting light.
And the days of thy morning shall be ended.
Amen.
I mean, he has healing in his wings.
Amen.
He sure does.
His light is healing.
Yes.
You know, we talk about how good vitamin D is, the sun from the sunlight.
Just think of the light of God.
The light of Jesus.
What health he's going to bring.
We're not going to be sick anymore.
That's so good.
Oh, my land.
So when you search the scriptures, you find out that the only one as bright as the sun is Jesus Christ.
Malachi 4:2.
But unto you that fear my name shall the Son of righteousness, that's S-U-N, not S-O-N, shall arise with healing in his wings.
And ye shall go forth and grow up as the calves of the stall.
You know, lately I've been so excited about it.
You know, we're talking about this calf that God gave to this farmer watching our show.
And, you know, he relates to that calf.
And I got some supernatural scriptures later on to bring to people about the calf.
You watch and see what God's going to show us.
But let's go on.
We're at Daniel 10, 6, right?
Are you there?
You want to read that for me?
Yes.
It says, his body also was like the barrel, and his face...
That's like a topaz gem.
Yeah.
Yes.
And his face as the appearance of lightning.
And his eyes as lamps of fire.
And his arms and his feet like in color to polished brass.
And the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.
Let's go to Matthew 17, verse 1.
And after six days, Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John, his brother, and bringing them up into the high mountain apart, and was transfigured before them.
And his face did shine as the sun.
And his rainment was white as light.
So here we are again at this scene that we visited earlier, our program before, probably, the Transfiguration.
And he says, the face of Jesus, and all of them, really, because Jesus was there with him, was as bright as the sun.
His clothes was bright like the sun.
So right there you have Christ being bright as the sun, radiating light like the sun does.
So we have that, like we said, in Revelation 10.
And then in that same chapter, in verse 5, it says, And while he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them.
So we have the cloud there and his face shining like that of the sun.
Let's go over to the book of Acts.
And this was Saul on his way.
He's taking a journey to Damascus.
And he says, I came to the pass that as I made my journey and it was come nigh unto Damascus about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a great light around about me.
What would this be?
It was so bright, he fell to the ground, he says.
He heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecute me?
And I answered, who art thou, Lord?
And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecuted.
Hear this bright light.
And he falls to the earth.
And he says, who are you?
He said, I'm Jesus.
He answered, I am Jesus Christ, really the light of the world.
And I answered, who art thou, Lord?
And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth.
Let's go on, verse 9.
And they that were with me saw the light also and were afraid.
And they heard not the voice of him that spoke to me.
Isn't it something?
They saw the light, but they didn't hear what God was speaking to him.
And I said, What shall I do, Lord?
And the Lord said unto me, Arise and go into Damascus, and there shall it be told unto thee of all things which they appointed for thee to do.
And when I could not see for the glory of the light, I could not see for the brightness, the glory of the light, being led by the hand of them that were with me.
Jesus was so bright when he saw him.
And at this point, before he hasn't, you know, he came back to visit with him.
He said, I came to Damascus.
Isn't that something?
It really is.
Revelation 1, 16.
Let's go on.
I want to close this piece out in a minute.
It says in Revelation 1, 16, And he had in his right hand seven stars, and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
Revelation 21, 23 says this, And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
And the last verse of this section is Revelation 22, verse 5.
And it says, There shall be no more night there.
And they need no candle, neither light of the sun.
For the Lord God gives them light.
And they shall reign forever and ever.
Amen.
So, do you all come to an agreement that God is light?
Yes.
He's not darkness.
That's right.
The devil's darkness.
God's light.
Jesus is light.
There's going to be no night in heaven.
There's not going to be any need for even candles or any spaceships or any lighting or anything out.
And we'll not need, look what it says, verse 22, 5 of Revelation.
Neither you'll need the light of the sun.
You won't need the light of the sun.
For the Lord giveth them light.
See, we've got to start obeying and believing the scriptures.
John 1, 5 says, God is light.
In him is no darkness at all.
Is that right?
That's exactly right.
How many times is light in the Bible?
Come on, we've studied this.
Yes, it's 272 times.
270 times about God is light in the Bible.
