Machinery That Leaves Us Wanting 00:02:27
We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in.
Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want.
We think too much, feel too little.
More than machinery, we need humanity.
We know the air is unfit to breathe, and our food is unfit to eat.
As if that's the way it's supposed to be.
We know things are bad, worse than bad.
They're crazy.
Hey, I'm a human being!
God damn it.
My life has been.
You have meddled with the primal forces of nature.
Don't give yourselves to brutes.
Men who despise you, enslave you, who regiment your lives, tell you what to do, what to think, or what to feel, who drill you, diet you, treat you like cattle, use you as cannon fodder.
Don't give yourselves to these unnatural men.
Machine men with machine minds and machine hearts.
Hey, everybody, Jason Burmes here, and it is good to be back from being on the road.
And if you tuned in over the weekend on Saturday, I did about a 30-minute video in my car about the Glenn Greenwald tapes that leaked online.
And I did it number one because I had some time to kill, but number two, because I don't generally focus on social issues as much as political ones, unless they are driving us into authoritarianism or transhumanism.
Okay.
People's personal lives to me are personal.
A Wide Range of Opinions 00:06:06
And I think I address that in the proper manner.
However, once you put your personal life on video, whether that video is supposed to be for you or not, we're not talking about your home security stuff getting hacked or somebody, you know, doing an expose on you and hiding stuff like a sting on Gene Simmons or Jerry Springer.
You open yourself up to this type of an attack and then criticism, etc.
Now, I got a wide, wide range of responses from that video.
And I kind of want to address them.
You know, I was not really able to address people during the live stream, but because everything is so wide and varied, and I knew it would be, and I'm going to give an example of why.
Whenever you get into morals and social mores and things especially to do with sexual behavior, the gloves are off, the spectrum is real, and it is huge.
Okay?
You're going to have religious opinions.
You are going to have opinions of subcultures, fetish cultures, kink cultures, you name it.
And I'm going to say it again.
What goes on between two consenting adults, that's fine.
You do your thing in private.
When you make it public, you open yourself up.
Another thing that was heavily controversial that I put out there was the idea of prostitution buying people and not some kind of a service.
And how, you know, morally, I would never have that in my life.
Now, I probably can't help judge somebody that especially does that on a regular basis.
And we've had that conversation.
But I'm going to put it to people like this before we continue and we go to the questions and comments that were made under that video in that section.
Okay.
And we're also going to play a video of Greenwald talking about 9-11.
I'll get into in a moment.
The abortion issue has never been my hill to die on.
You know, I began to speak more vocally about it when we started talking about six months, seven months up until birth.
I was born in seven months.
Okay.
I mean, that's all I can say to that.
And I've always said this.
In my personal life, it would be a no-go.
However, in my personal life, in certain situations, it's not even my decision.
In fact, all situations, which I think is absolutely grotesque, that half of the parent gets zero say.
I want to say that.
But you don't hear me talk about it much.
I wouldn't even consider myself a quote-unquote pro-lifer.
Okay.
But if I'm looking to start a family and I'm looking to get into a relationship with somebody, if that person has had several abortions, I probably have to take that into account.
And maybe that's not the road to go for me.
Just a small little analogy.
So thumbs it up, subscribe, share.
If you're watching this on the Patriot.tv audience, what I'm going to do now is I'm going to cut in the video from over the weekend.
If you're watching live and you have not watched my video on Glenn Greenwald and the situation with him, I would encourage you to go check that out because we did go deep.
There were some really big philosophical issues, but a lot of them are going to be addressed yet again once we get into the questions and comments section.
And one of the reasons I brought up 9-11 was to talk about some of the questionable things I feel like Glenn has done in his career.
A career that, by the way, as far as, you know, even alternate, not just mainstream, but alternative media journalists go, the guy's top tier, right?
I mean, he has brought out things that nobody else has done.
And my issue, again, is how he's held back on certain issues to be career-driven.
And that's outside of this scandal.
But again, go watch the other video.
We're going to play that for you on Patriot.tv.
But if you're watching live, I do need your help, folks.
$5, $10, $15, it means the world to me.
Get those thumbs up.
We don't even have 20 thumbs up.
Subscribe, share on all platforms.
There are other links down below.
So, of course, we're talking about this Greenwald video.
And as I said before, I didn't watch any of it.
I watched no parts of the video.
I watched two screenshots.
I read a little bit about it.
I read it involved, you know, him paying a prostitute $2,000.
The screenshots, of course, were not my cup of tea.
I noticed that there seemed to be a crackpipe in one of the screenshots.
One of the comments that we'll get to a little later, probably expand upon this, was from Flick, who is a longtime listener.
And he said, you know, in regards to this video, the guy just lost his husband.
Banning Normal Behavior 00:02:34
Now, I want to say this first and foremost.
That didn't come to my mind.
And for those that don't know, in 2023, now two years ago, Greenwald's husband died.
And I do remember it, and I remember covering it.
I don't know when this video was shot, whether it was before the husband's death, probably after, how far after, I don't know.
But I got to be quite frank and honest.
I'm not sure that really sways my opinion one way or another.
I realize that people do things when they are in grief that they normally would not.
But almost tomato tomato to me.
Okay.
Just point that out.
So let's get into a bunch of these questions and comments right here.
There we go right here.
And we'll come in down here.
Dickadickadoo.
Takeaway.
Berm is more of a square than I even thought, yet has more ex-girlfriends than the average man.
Well, I'm 45.
And for the most part, I've been a serial monogamist, but I would be lying to say that I haven't had sexual encounters with women that were not my girlfriends.
Okay.
And especially in the culture of the last even 20 years, you know, dating somebody or, you know, going out, hanging out, there are a lot of terms for it.
Now, people cannot have fetishes without having been traumatized and wanting to be abused.
First of all, because fetish describes a plethora of things, I did not say that.
I was talking about the type of humiliation, submission, pain-based fetishes.
Yes, that comes from some kind of trauma and abuse.
I mean, just saying.
Shadow banning for being too normal.
Let's see.
Shadow banning for being too normal is an interesting observation with all the queer stuff going on and knowing what queer actually is, i.e., centering the fringe, which pushes normal to the fringe, is actually making sense.
A lot of people think queer is a sexuality or sexual identity, seemingly because it is tracked on the LGBT.
But it really has little to do with that.
It's a political act of revolting against the norm.
And in the Western world, capitalism is the norm.
Now, I think this goes on for quite a bit.
Shadow Banning Insights 00:12:15
We're going to stop right there, but we'll go here.
In response to Greenwald, I saw someone X have a similar take.
And while I understand the concern, I don't think it necessarily makes him a bad journalist.
I don't think his sexual behavior makes him a bad journalist.
I question again the idea of putting these things on film.
I question the behavior of a person like that.
Like, would you want that to happen, not just to you, but to somebody that you loved, Like your son or your daughter, your mother or your father, your brother or your sister?
Probably not, right?
Like, I mean, I'm just going to, I'm going to leave that one there and anybody can go read this one.
Let's see.
Somebody agrees with me, says you're right, buddy.
Here we go.
My position on Greenwald has always been that it's a limited hangout or he's a limited hangout.
He gave us some info via Snowden, but he also made sure a huge amount of Snowden docs will never see the light of day.
If he was actually a good guy, he would have released all the docs.
He's a bad guy, and I don't trust him.
I certainly think that that's a valid point that we should question.
What was not released from those documents?
Excuse me.
Almadar, the billionaire, was very involved in that.
It led to Glenn creating the intercept and eventually leaving the intercept.
When you have media that has resources and can stick around and doesn't necessarily have to be profitable, you know it has an agenda, right?
Like, don't get me wrong, when we talk about all sorts of media, it's profitable, ABC, CBS, et cetera, only because they've got their hooks in everybody, you know, with the Hollyweird infotainment style of everything.
And I'm not just talking about news.
I mean, the talk shows, the comedy shows have become political modus operandi on a level they never were before.
But like, when you look at how many of these, you know, alternative media operations get going, they've got to remain profitable.
Most don't.
And that's why most go under.
Just point that out.
Jason is real.
Loose change changed my life.
Thank you, Jason.
Been following since, geez, oh, since loose change.
Come to Evansville, Indiana, and we'll eat at the wheelhouse.
Well, thank you for that invite right there.
Glenn Greenwald was dressed up in women's clothes with a meth pipe in a room with a male prostitute.
Also, did you know Glenn was a gay pornographer and pimp?
Look it up.
That I don't know.
That I don't know.
I don't even know.
Listen, I don't want ignorance.
So if there's some people can send me that information and the pictures are not graphic, that will again have me question Glenn Greenwald more.
All right.
Glenn Greenwald has spoken on 9-11 numerous times.
He is by far one of the absolute best independent journalists going right now.
Much more impressive than a guy shooting a video in his car, looking around like the police are after him.
Was that a, I'm in a parking lot.
I'm on my way to a wedding.
Right.
His Boderm business is not, his bedroom business is not ours.
Again, it's not until you put it on tape.
Okay?
That's, I'm just saying, a bad decision.
And as far as 9-11, he's never gone full throttle on 9-11.
He's finally come around in the last several years.
And as always, I back up my bull sniz.
I talked about the Tim Dillon interview.
Hopefully this doesn't get us taken down.
But here is Tim talking to Glenn about 9-11.
Do you ever look back at events like 9-11 where we took 15 pages or 17 pages out of the 9-11 Commission report to protect Saudi Arabia and things like that?
And we, you know, people on the 9-11 Commission have said that it was set up to fail and Bush and Cheney would only testify in a closed session together sitting next to each other.
Do you think there's anything more that we should know about that day?
I'm not suggesting that it was like this, you know, a massive conspiracy, but is there something?
Do you think later on down the line, we will find out things about that day that surprise us or enlighten us to a degree?
I mean, you know, I think you kind of have to pick and choose your battles as like a public person, right?
Yeah.
There's certain things that you fight for and then other things you say, I'm going to leave that alone, right?
We all like finite energy and whatever.
But here's what I will say is that why is it?
Tell me, someone tell me why it is.
I've been asking this question for years and no one has an answer that 60 years after the assassination of John Kennedy, 60 years, most of the files in the CIA about that event are still classified.
Like we, even though everyone involved is dead.
Right.
What conceivable rationale is there for continuing to conceal that?
So now I just want to stop it right there for a moment.
You know, he goes a little farther.
He's gone a little farther since then.
Now we supposedly have all the documentation.
That's a whole nother ball game.
But like he's talking about pick and choosing battles as a public figure.
And that's fine.
I don't necessarily disagree with that.
I've certainly pick and chose my battles, but I've always put it out there what I thought about an event.
I've never backed off something.
And quite frankly, backing off of that, I mean, give me a break.
9-11 still is the crux issue.
Still the crux issue.
Putting that out there.
Shout out to Stewart's in upstate New York.
I visited a Stewart's while I was there, met my brother there.
Had a great time.
Great to see the family.
His children are getting so big.
Pre-K and first grade.
And I had a, honestly, I had a great time in New York with family and friends.
Very, very short, very truncated.
Left 5 a.m. on a Thursday.
Was back here in Iowa, I think by like 1.45, 2 p.m. on a Sunday, and I drove it.
No small task, folks.
No small task.
I've never watched your channel, and I know very little about you, but I just wanted to comment that it's refreshing to hear a man contemning prostitution in kink from a moral standpoint.
The few men I've heard talk about it are doing so purely for selfish reasons, i.e. how it impacts their own sex drive.
Again, I'm just telling you about my life.
When it gets into prostitution, I'm sorry, that is buying people.
You're buying people.
And there are levels of buying people, but that is an intimate way that you're doing it.
And you cannot tell me, especially with all the research out there, with all the, you know, the people that have been traumatized and openly spoken about it.
It is a heavy trauma.
In fact, when you talk about things like mind control, folks, okay, you are talking about trauma.
Trauma-based mind control often involves sexual activity.
Thanks for this.
I needed this so much.
Well, thank you.
Glenn is a grown-up and can do whatever he wants in his private life as long as it's consensual.
I bet you'd be shocked at the things a lot of quote-unquote normal people do in private.
None of our business.
Keep it private.
I've said it before.
And listen, if you want to be open about it, that's fine.
That's fine.
But the prostitution thing, if you watched the video, obviously, and you commented, so I hope you did, is really one of the things that bothered me.
The stuff that he's stayed away from, that bothers me.
The behavior of using hard drugs bothers me.
It's not just gay prostitution, prostitution in general.
It bothers me.
And I'm not trying to get on my high horse here.
We're all hypocrites.
We all do bad things.
Okay.
We all have things that we don't want other people to know about.
I'm not calling for the end of porn or anything like that.
Not saying it's necessarily healthy either.
Okay.
But again, there are levels to this.
There are so many people that want to talk about human trafficking.
And I know a lot of people focus on the child trafficking, but look, a lot of those people that are trafficked as adults, what?
They had abuse as a child as well.
That is your cup of tea, obviously.
Everyone else was like, who cares?
Mind your own business.
I had to stop watching this video and read the transcript to realize how dumb the entire video was.
Okay.
You're allowed to have your opinion.
Thank you.
I've been very depressed and have lost faith mainly in men because of porn addiction that spirals down into child P, sadism, humiliation, and death.
Like, again, when the humiliation stuff, you know, speaking of the, you know, mainline pornography, so much has it become has become quote unquote incestuous, you're now seeing it like on jokes.
Like back in the day, like Family Guy would crack a joke about like the casting couch videos, but now it's all about the family stuff, the brother and sister, the dad and daughter stuff.
It's not even like the step stuff.
Of course, it's not real, but it's just so weird to me that it's gotten to that level.
Like, who's into that?
Like, really?
I realize there are a lot of broken homes out there.
But, you know, I had a stepsister.
It never even crossed my mind.
Let's see.
I am a normal person, and listening to someone with character and integrity gives me hope.
Sorry about Glenn, who I have respected before.
I respect a lot of his work, but I have to question everything.
Okay.
We could go down.
There was a lot of commentary on here.
I think I've covered a lot of the bases.
Folks, if you can, please consider supporting the broadcast.
$5, $10, $15.
It does mean the world to me.
You can buy me a coffee.
We got the PayPal.
We got the crypto.
As well, as always.
All right.
This issue, the issues we cover here.
It's not a left or right one.
I'm not talking conservative.
Not talking Democrat.
I'm not talking liberal.
Okay.
I'm talking humanity.
And if we want integrity in journalism, I would hope that we elevate people with a little bit more common sense and a lot less compromise.
