So the last thing these Democrats want is the president to succeed as number one promise to the American people.
Their hatred and drive to see this president fail is more important to them than securing this nation and saving lives.

And then this morning we have what?
We have triple whammy, not a double whammy, a triple whammy, Elise Stefanik, Congresswoman as Ambassador to the United Nations.
Then Stephen Miller, the genius architect of the President's original immigration reform.
Who will be the deputy to Susie, deputy chief of staff for policy in the White House.
Another position not confirmed by the Senate so he can start work straight away.
And then the reason we played that cut, so super exciting.
The former Director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement for President Trump.
35 years protecting us inside the Department of Homeland Security, ICE, INS, you name it.
My good friend, an amazing patriot, Tom Homan, who, well, I could just play clips of Tom Homan all through the day, but I can't resist.

Zero tolerance was interpreted as the policy that separated children from their parents.
If I get arrested for DUI and I have a young child in a car, I'm going to be separated.
When I was a police officer in New York and I arrested a father for domestic violence, I separated that father from his family.

When you're in the country illegally, it's a violation of the United States Code 1325.
Seeking asylum is legal.
If you want to seek asylum and go through the port of entry, do it the legal way.
The Attorney General of the United States has made that clear.

So, oh my gosh, where to begin?
Well, first things first.

But I was shocked.
I had a celebratory cigar with one of the smartest guys I know this weekend.
And he didn't understand the question of asylum seeking and the CBP1 app.
If he didn't get it, I want every one of our listeners to understand how they lied and how they let 20 million illegals into our country, denuding us of our national sovereignty.
And this is personal for me because my parents were actual asylum seekers.
They were true refugees.
Now, the international law on this is clear.
International and American.
You cannot seek asylum unless two conditions are met.
It doesn't matter who you are or which country you're escaping from.
Number one, staying in the country where you are a citizen Would risk your freedom and your life because the nature of the system.
There's systematic persecution of you because of your ethnicity, because of your political identity, because of your religious identity.
There is some kind of systematic persecution of you in that country.
Number one.
Second requirement, and this is international and domestic law.
As soon as you manage to escape from that awful country, the first country you arrive in where you are not going to be persecuted for that reason is the country in which you must apply for asylum.
You can't shop your asylum status across the world.
You can't travel from Afghanistan or from, let's say, Pakistan all the way to America.
Because the first country you get to where you won't be persecuted for being a Hindu or a Jew or for being from the wrong political party is the country in which you must apply for asylum status.
So what was the game that Kamala played for the last four years?
Please, please listen and use this.
Alejandro Mayorkas, the Secretary of Homeland Security, using tens of millions of your dollars, if not hundreds, created an app called CBP1, Customs and Border Protection 1.
It's an app any foreigner in the world could download.
They could be from China sitting in a bed and breakfast in Juarez in Mexico.
And they fill in the app.
They can make it all up.
My name is John Smith.
And I'm being persecuted for being a Mormon in Azerbaijan.
Just make it completely up.
They press the send button, and DHS, the Department of Homeland Security, gives them an asylee number, an official asylum-seeking number.
Then they cross the border, either at a port of entry or just across...
Some broken part of wall that Biden didn't fix.
And when they're caught...
Well, they're never really caught.
When they are met...
By the demoralized Customs and Border Patrol agents, they say, hey, I'm John Smith.
Here's my CBP-1 asylum number.
And the Kamala Biden administration waved them into the country, gave them thousands of dollars, a government-funded cell phone, and asked them, ah, welcome.
Which city would you like a plane ticket to funded by the taxpayer?
That's how they did it.
They pretended that tens of millions of Americans are asylum seekers.
They're not.
They're here for economic reasons or because of other things.
They're being trafficked.
They're underage.
They're agents of a foreign power.
They're members of a cartel.
This is the threat Tom Homan is going to stop.
As the non-Senate confirmed, borders are in the White House in charge of the largest deportation in American history so that legal migrants like myself are respected once more and that we will have national sovereignty again.

I was doing TV on New York on election night and watching the Democrats who were on the panel with me.
Every time I'd show them something from George or I'd show them something, it was just like you could see their mind just rolling.
What was the next excuse?
Or you've got to be kidding me.
And it was a pretty joyous night.
And then going to the—I have to share, though, this, Seb.
Going to—and I posted this on social media— Last Tuesday morning, I get up early.
I'm supposed to be on TV by 6.30.
I get up, 5.45, get in a cab in New York.
The guy turns around and he says, oh my God.
And he looked at me and he said, Collins, Georgia.
And I said, yes.
And he said, I, and he struck his hand through the back of the glass, shook my hand.
He said, Trump has to win today.
Hang on, that's a New York cabbie, says Collins, Georgia.
Yes.
That's crazy.
It was cool.
So be honest with me, no fibs, okay?
We're going to get the electrodes on you, okay?
We're going to do a polygraph.
Did you expect it to be this level of a complete wipeout?
I expected...
I only had two scenarios, Seb.
This is almost two scenarios.
I had it either being very close and we win or a blowout for Trump.
You're the third person.
You're the third person to say that to me.
Two guys I highly respect.
And these are the things they said to me about six weeks ago.
Squeaker for the president or a massive blowout, right?
Yep.
So let's talk about...
You're in the studio.
You're surrounded by Democrats.
Yep.
In the last six days, Doug, None of them, I haven't seen one of them, even begin to demonstrate any understanding why not just the Electoral College, but the popular vote went for our guy.
When you've got black guys on CNN calling black men misogynist women haters because they voted for Donald Trump, I think it's great that they're completely misdiagnosing it.
But are you seeing the same thing?
Yes, I am.
And I even saw it starting that night.
In fact, I even, and Seb, I know you see some of my stuff, and I posted this on social media, and I'd encourage people to go at RepDougCollins.
It's on Twitter.
They started this crap about, well, if Donald Trump will just be nice, and if Donald Trump has a chance to do this, and I just let him.
I had all I could want.
We were ahead.
I was winning.
I said, no.
You don't understand.
You've called him everything in the last four and a half to eight years.
You know, last four years while he's president.
You've done everything to say he's a dictator.
Until you stop calling our nominees Hitler, then you need to change your team, not us.
We've got to get in there and govern.
And I think that's going to be the important key right now.
They're scared of what we can do.
They're not scared of what we might do.
They're more scared of what we can do because they know that if we do it, we can change America truly.
And we've got to have committed fighters in there to do that.
And how important is it that like out of the gate, Susie Wiles last week, Stefanik this morning, Miller this morning, Homan this morning, the president is like, he's already moving at the speed of Trump.
I think we've got to keep them back.
You know, on their heels, the rapidity of these decisions is really important, isn't it?
It is.
And I think, to me, all of those are great picks.
Susie Wiles is going to be a great choice in looking at that.
But out of, no offense to Elise or Stephen Miller, Tom Holman's We're good to go.
I can't think of a better choice to set the tone for the world.

Yeah, yeah.
Elise, I know, is in a very strong Republican district.
How dangerous is it to have any more members of Congress appointed, given how tight the margins are, Doug?
Yeah, at least maybe it.
There may be one more, but I mean, you're looking at about a three to four vote.
I mean, you're looking at four vote, five at max, but so three to four over 218.
So if all the Democrats show up, and see, and that's the key sometimes, if everybody shows up, you got to get that 218 number, 217 number.
And I'm just going to say it now, Seb, we've got to have a Congress that understands that 100% You're not going to get everything, even with both houses.
And inside your Republican conference, you're not going to get everybody to agree.
But you better, dadgum, start having 218 and quit this stuff of we can't pass anything.
Donald Trump won't stand for it.
The American people won't stand for it.
And our country needs better.
You know it well.
We've only got a minute left in this segment.

How different a Congress will this be, given that the President has the popular vote as well?
How much will the soft squishes behave themselves?
They should.
And I think they'll come into line.
I think everybody understands, because we've talked about this before.
If you're not putting the votes to pass it out of the House, I don't care how much good you got into it or how much bad.
If you're not passing anything out of the House, you're just making a statement or a Twitter video.
I mean, because we've got to actually pass it.
The president's going to provide leadership.
The Senate, of course, will have to deal with the filibuster on certain issues.
But when it comes to other stuff, they've got to put this stuff and get reconciliation passed first.
Breaking news, our buddy, your former Congress partner, Lee Zeldin, has been nominated to lead the EPA with a hammer, with a pickaxe.
Congratulations, Lee Zeldin.
He is going to making sure that the lunacy at the Environmental Protection Agency is cut.

Pre-Trump, voters under 30 were going for the Democrats by 23 points.
Folks with incomes under 50,000, 22 points for the Democrats.
Folks without college degrees, four points for the Democrats.
That's pre-Trump.
What comes out of this election?
Look at some of these shifts.
The youth vote, that Democratic margin cut more than in half.
Voters under 50,000, now a Republican constituency.
Voters without a college degree, look at that shift.
Now a core Republican constituency.
And then we can talk about race, ethnicity.
This gets into that diversity I mentioned a minute ago.
Check this out.
Again, pre-Trump versus now.
The black vote's still overwhelmingly Democratic, but that's a 15-point shift.
It used to be 87 points for the Democrats, down to 72.
How about this?
You've heard a lot about it this week.
This is what the numbers look like.
Hispanic voters were 44 points Democratic before Donald Trump.
Now, basically a toss-up constituency.
And Asian Americans, a 32-point shift there as well.
That's what's happened to the Republican Party since Donald Trump became its standard bearer eight years ago.
This has been the movement...

We are celebrating with our good friend, former Georgia congressman, the author of The Clock and the Calendar.
Doug Collins, so much excitement, so much to celebrate.
The appointment's coming in thick and fast.

We'll be playing some of the videos he released this weekend.
The pragmatist question is the following.
We have seen something the likes of which we haven't seen it 20 years plus with every demographic, with every geographic constituency.
How do we lock that in and build on it for two years from now, from four years from now, This time it was very organic.
I mean, Lara did amazing things at the RNC. The campaign did amazing things.
But we had Scott Presser in Pennsylvania.
We had Cliff Maloney.
We had Charlie Kirk turning point.
We had all kinds of people across the country.
How do we not lose this momentum?
Well, first and foremost, Republicans have to understand what Democrats have understood for a long time.
And I've said this before.
I'll keep saying it.
Republicans believe that elections happen every two years.
Democrats believe they happen every day on the grassroots.
We've got to make sure that we now do it every day and make sure that now that the election's over, that our parties and every one of our states have begun the process of renewing the voter rolls, making sure who voted, who didn't vote, And begin that process even as we're starting now.
Take a little bit of a breath, celebrate, but then get back to work so that by the time the next cycle rolls around, we have our people in place, we have our precinct leaders in place, we have our voter rolls up to date, we have our walking cards up to date, and we've been interacting with these individuals in our communities In these communities that are new to our party, in the African-American community, in the Asian community, in the Hispanic community, we've been bringing them in, encouraging them, giving them responsibilities and roles to reach out to others in their own community.
We cannot ever accept that a part of town or a part of a state is not Republican territory.
And if we don't do that, then we'll have a chance at continuing this.
The other thing is it's got to be a congressional thing.
And that is, early on, they're going to have to do a reconciliation package.
It's going to seem to take a while.
I don't want to hear the Senate say this could take a year.
It doesn't have to take a year.
Explain to our listeners what a reconciliation package is, Doug.
Reconciliation is where we can do the taxes, the tax plan, read up a lot of the tax...
We need to renew those and actually change and make some of them better.
And if you do it in what's called a reconciliation, then you can do it without the 60-vote limit in the Senate so that you can get it through a simple majority.
That's the way you move, and that's the way that the Democrats have moved Obamacare.
They've moved a lot of things through this process.
We've got to make sure that we do the economy and immigration.
Those two have to be done.
And then we have to be honest with our voters, because unless they remove the filibuster in the Senate, you're going to have to have at least seven more votes to actually get something across.
But we've got to make sure that we do everything we possibly can to make sure people are feeling the results of us being in office and not just simply fighting on what could be better.
The last couple of years have been tough.
The speaker races, the Freedom Caucus and everybody else.
Are we going to see more of that or is the president's incredible victories and what we're seeing in places like New York and California and elsewhere?
Will it be more of esprit de corps?
Will there be more team spirit from the GOP in the House, former Congressman Doug Collins?
I hope so.
And I wish I could say yes, but I saw the last two years, we basically, frankly, fought with ourselves more than we fought with the Democrats.
So we've got to be honest with this.
And I said this in the first block, I'll say it again in the second block.
The magic number is 218.
I don't care where you come from or what you don't.
If you can't get 218 Republicans together, Then, even if we could get 80% of something very good, and you have five or six people say, no, I want it to be perfect, then those five or six people are, in essence, helping the Democrats stop our agenda.
Now, I know they don't want to do that, but we've got to be honest with our people, and we've got to do it.
Democrats do this.
I mean, liberals, every part of their party passes bills.
We've got to do the same thing.
Look, it's not position, it's not power, it's policy.
Policy, policy, policy.
We've got ten seconds.
What's the one word of advice you'd give President Trump now?
Beat Trump.
That's exactly what Corey Lewandowski said when he was brought on to run the campaign.
Beat Trump, because guess what?
That's why we voted for him.

But I think Democrats are in their recoil moment here right now.
Realizing that the lawfare, the name-calling the dark red wall speeches, that it only made Donald Trump more popular, a lot less popular, because you can't fake the American people.
You can say all you want to say, but if people don't believe it, you're wasting your time.
And I think Joe Biden, at the end of his presidency, realizes he wasted a lot of time on lawfare and branding that just simply didn't fit Donald Trump.
But what about all these reports?
And these aren't unnamed sources.
These are the individuals themselves, John, like Mark Elias and others, and even Gavin Newsom holding a special session in California.
We have these, you know, key actors saying they are holding councils of wars, special sessions of the assembly to initiate, to plan, to implement new lawfare campaigns to prevent President Trump from exercising his powers as to implement new lawfare campaigns to prevent President Trump from exercising his powers
Even as we're months away from the inauguration, it looks to me that some people are not drawing the requisite conclusions about why they lost on Tuesday.
But even when you drill down into what a Mark Elias is saying and what a Gavin Newsom is saying right now, it's really focused on policy and procedural issues, not the ad hominem personal self-destruction attacks that we saw for really 10 years.
I mean, it really went back to late 2015 when all of this garbage started.
It does seem like pulling back from the personal, making it more about policy and process is where the Democrats would be.
I'm not going to suggest they're wilting flowers, but I do think the personal tax on President Trump simply backfired.
I think moving into policy and procedure, one, it'll be good for Democrats, but it'll be good for Republicans, because on policy, Republicans are winning on procedure.
Republicans tend to follow the law.
Joe Biden tried to make up a lot of procedures and laws.
He didn't have the power to do so.
I think when it gets to that policy and procedure realm, Donald Trump's going to have an upper hand.
It's an interesting take that it's less the attacks directly of the individual and more trying to stymie his policies.
Let's look at not the activists and the politicians, let's look at your world.
Is the media going to dial it back?
Because right now it doesn't look like they are.
When we see black commentators on CNN saying, well, the black men who voted for Trump, they're just a woman-hating misogynists.
Not a lot of introspection, John.
No, I think of all of the biggest losers in this election, the legacy media probably is the longest, not only the biggest loser, but also I think the longest continuation of losing.
I think it's going to take them a while to realize how far they drove themselves off a cliff.
The Gallup poll just a few weeks ago showing only 31% of Americans regularly trust the media and 36% never trusted the lowest level ever recorded in that poll.
We have spent, the industry has spent way too much time They're trying to make opinion look like fact, and they're still trying to do that, impose their own opinions, their own thoughts on the American people instead of just giving them facts and letting us make up our mind.
Until that dynamic changes, I think they continue to drive 90 miles an hour off a cliff.

Here in State 48, somehow, Ruben Gallego got more votes than Kamala Harris did.
He got 100,000 votes more than Terry Lake for the Senate.
Yet we have 300,000 more registered Republicans.
So we talked about this about a year ago.
Every time an illegal invader comes across the border, they're registered to vote through the 1993 Motor Voter Act and or if they get social services.
I don't think those people went to the polls.
But unfortunately, when I worked the polls on Tuesday, we had people that came in and dropped off green envelopes and white envelopes And they took them without registering them, without counting them.
There's zero accountability in State 48, and it's in violation of ARS 16564.
Our elections are such a mess.
There's election malfeasance everywhere.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, two counties They said they had X amount of votes to count, and the following day they doubled that number with no transparency at all.
So if you have any poll at the RNC, we need lawyers on the ground ASAP. I've contacted True the Vote.
I've contacted other people in other organizations.
But they're going to steal Carrie Lake's Senate seat, sir.
They're stealing our voices and our votes.
That's what I'm concerned about.

But if he pulls his troops out and Ukraine is not a member of NATO, who wants them to be a member of NATO anyway?
I'd rather have them as a buffer nation.

Well, the Turkey thing has nothing to do with President Trump or his transition team, so that's kind of irrelevant in terms of what will happen now and after January the 20th.

His number one priority is to stop the bloodshed.

All right, let's start analyzing some very, very entertaining cuts.
So firstly, a little short one from Jim Jordan.
Let's start with one that is the fuel for lots of conspiracy theories.
Cut three.
No, I think the Democrats got to ask, why did we go from getting 81 million to getting 70 million?
What happened to those 10 million people?
Maybe it's not smart to run an election where you have no vision, no record to run on.
Do you believe that the 2024 election was free and fair?
I do.
I do.
So where have all the votes disappeared?
I know some are still being counted, but a delta of 10 million between Biden and Kamala?
What's the best explanation for that, Rich Barris?
Look, I mean, by the time we're done counting votes, it'll be around probably 8 million, you know, maybe a little bit more.
When we were polling, we're going to have something on this because when we were polling individual states, we were also tracking some of the groups that were, you know, working to get out low proposition and no proposition voters.
They don't vote.
And so we really knew who these people were and also who had a voting record of only voting in 2020.
I'm going to tell you, really about a third, whether it was in Pennsylvania, where it was 31.4%, we were able to really account for, or some of these other states, where it was a little bit more like 36%.
There does seem to be this huge chunk of voter that was a 2020-only voter, and now, poof, they're gone.
Right.
Let's continue the analysis from those who got it all wrong.

Cut 18.
Pre-Trump, voters under 30 were going for the Democrats by 23 points.
Folks with incomes under 50,000, 22 points for the Democrats.
Folks without college degrees, four points for the Democrats.
That's pre-Trump.
What comes out of this election?
Look at some of these shifts.
The youth vote, that Democratic margin cut more than in half.
Voters under 50,000, now a Republican constituency.
Voters without a college degree, look at that shift.
Now a core Republican constituency.
And then we can talk about race, ethnicity.
This gets into that diversity I mentioned a minute ago.
Check this out.
Again, pre-Trump versus now.
The black votes still overwhelmingly Democratic, but that's a 15-point shift.
It used to be 87 points for the Democrats, down to 72.
How about this?
You've heard a lot about it this week.
This is what the numbers look like.
Hispanic voters were 44 points Democratic before Donald Trump.
Now, basically a toss-up constituency.
And Asian Americans, a 32-point shift there as well.
That's what's happened to the Republican Party since Donald Trump became its standard bearer eight years ago.
This has been the movement.
40 and 30 point swings to President Trump from ethnic minorities.
What's behind that and can the President and the Republicans build on that, Rich?
I just want to say, Steve has always been a nice guy to me.
We do talk online.
I tried telling you, Steve, like, I know you work in NBC. Buddy, I know you work at NBC News.
I don't know how you remain quite intellectually honest if you work in a place like that.
But Native Americans, we were talking about during the show, you know, before the show, 65 to 35, Trump walloped her.
And by the way, all of this was something that we had talked about on your show over and over and over again, much to the pushback of a lot of people.
And now here we are.
Now, can he build on it?
And it's just a warning I got for Republicans.
You better deliver and get on board with this man's agenda.

And it's altogether seen as the same issue.

Our final poll showed that would be about 12% compared to a little under 11 for black voters.

They came out for this man and they came out for his agenda.

He put up the best performance for a Republican among Hispanics since exit polls were established, ladies and gentlemen.

When was the last time a party gained in so many different places?
You have to go all the way back to 1992 when Bill Clinton improved upon Michael Dukakis' performance in 49 states plus the District of Columbia.
The bottom line is no matter where you looked on the mat, Kate Baldwin, no matter where you looked, Donald Trump was improving on where he did four years ago, except for Washington State.
It is no wonder that at this particular point, he looks like he's going to be the first Republican to win the popular vote since George W. Bush back in 2004.
And to pull that off, he gained ground with groups that Republicans do not generally count as part of their winning, a winning coalition or it really at all.
How much ground did he gain?

It's just like, oh my goodness gracious.
These are the types of groups that you would never have thought that Donald Trump would have gained so much support among eight years ago when he first won against Hillary Clinton.
Trump's was the best GOP showing among 18 to 29 year olds in 20 years.

How about among black voters?
It was the best performance for a Republican candidate for president in 48 years since Gerald Ford back in 1976.
And among Hispanic voters?
The exit polls only go back since 1972, but Donald Trump's performance on Tuesday was the best for a Republican presidential candidate in exit poll history.

vote ballot banking, you know, the Scott Presslers, the Lara Trumps, the Cliff Maloney's, the Charlie Kirk's getting out there.
And how much is it just the sheer power of President Trump, indefatigable, 290 rallies, on and on and on.
If you had to say it's the mechanics or it's the candidate, which way are you going to swing?
Is there a choice?
Is there a preference?
I can actually give you a good, solid answer on this because I worked with a group, which I haven't really talked about that much publicly, but it was called 10X Votes in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania, which is supplemental to what the other people were doing because we had done this research.
And the fact is, it's both.
You need both.
both.
And it only was going to work with Donald Trump because when we went after these people that have such low to no vote histories, we asked them why they don't vote, who would motivate them if you, if you were right.
So if you were convinced to vote, it was only Donald Trump.
It was only ever Donald Trump.
They liked him.
They just had this general sense that their vote didn't count.
It didn't matter.
The game was, was rigged against them.
Dr. Gorka, the game was stacked against them.
So the reason why I say it's both, it's because you do need to do all that research that we did and others did.
But you have to have someone like Donald Trump inspiring people and making them believe in him enough that it's like, okay, I think the world is so rigged.
I think that the game, it just doesn't matter.
They'll cancel my vote out.
But he deserves my vote.
He fights so much for us that the least we could do is take a couple of minutes and fill out that absentee ballot and send it in or take 30 minutes of our day and go vote.
It has to be somebody that inspires people like that.
And we did this dating back to the primary.
This work's been going on a long time.
So you've got to have the mechanics.
You've got to have the grand game.
You've got to get out there.
But people who feel disenfranchised won't vote if you don't have the likes of President Trump.

Governor elections have no predictive value for federal elections.

But this is a problem with the NRSC. It was the problem with the National Republican Governors, the Republican Governors Association, the RGA. They don't like Trumpism and all these leaders have got to go.
They have got house cleaning needs to be conducted.
What I keep hearing there, well, how can he get so many votes as president and she doesn't?
What's the explanation there?

Between the governor's race and the Senate race, Carrie Lake has been the target of $100 million of negative advertising.

The fact that what that's suggesting is I want my kids to have the right to be You know, responsibility-free in their sexual lives.
That's bizarre as a father.
I don't know why you would be advocating promiscuity with your daughters.
That's bizarre stuff that's below the surface of that clip.
And also, and I don't want to get distracted because we have so many things to discuss.

But when you're talking about your daughters having the right to abortion, what does that say about that individual as a man as well, John?
Well, look, I think that politics has taken the place of religion for a lot of people.
And that's really, I think, my first and best diagnosis that I've heard and that I agree with, that you have people who have just adopted a set of dogmas unquestioningly, and they've made it part of their identity.
So when your identity is wrapped up in some of these kinds of things, It's gonna make you emotional.
It's gonna make you irrational.
And that's what we're seeing there.
We're seeing sort of a secular, and I would say, Fundamentally satanic dogma.
I completely concur.

But for those who missed our brief chat with you on the occasion of your great interview with our other regular guest at Rudyard Lynch, tell those who missed that who you are, what you used to do for a living, and what made you launch this podcast of yours?
Well, I came out of New York City working at What I now see in retrospect was actually one of the most conservative environments in entertainment at the time.
I was one of the two creative directors at Spike TV, which no longer exists, but at the time it was called the First Network for Men.
We launched UFC. We had an award show called the Guy's Choice Awards.
I did ads celebrating fatherhood.
This is all sort of in the before times, right?
The kind of halcyon days of the 2010s.
And then I left my job behind to start an organization that would focus on having my values be more infused in my work.
And I became a dad.
And that changed everything.
And so Dad Saves America is about connecting the dots there between Our role as fathers being heroic and being a kind of central place where we, as Americans, through our actual actions beyond the voting booth, can make a real difference for the future of the country because we shape our kids' lives in a thousand ways.
It's the most high-impact thing we do.
It's the most meaning-making thing we do.
And it's under assault.
So I try to explore What it means to be a man, what it means to raise healthy, freedom-loving kids, get them properly educated and out there into the world in such a way where they're going to be able to thrive and want to keep the country the best version of what it is, which is a free society, one that values the sanctity and the integrity and the sovereignty of the individual.
That is what it means to have a free society.
It doesn't mean that we're all part of collectivist groups.
Freedom is about the individual's ability to make choices for themselves and also face the repercussions of those choices, for real.
Freedom and responsibility are tied together.
They're two sides of the same coin.
And so that's what Dad Saves America is all about.
It's what we can do as men to save the country, one family, one dinner table conversation at a time.
And we'll be dissecting Tuesday for weeks, if not months to come.
Do you see a sign, especially in the specific breakdown of demographics, that, you know, the great enemy of all your celebrating, wokeness, seems to maybe have been, you know, shot in the gut, maybe bleeding out?
How significant?
Are the political results for the cultural things we're trying to achieve?
I think it was profound.
And I say that as somebody who doesn't think the world revolves around the presidency.
I think we have generally overplayed the importance of the presidency in this country.
That being said, to have every single demographic group Reject the politics of victimhood and of skin-deep identity and vote for Trump in larger numbers in every single area to see Los Angeles move towards Trump.
Manhattan move towards Trump.
Trump's not a perfect guy from my perspective.
I voted for him.
Are you perfect, John?
I'm not.
Nobody's perfect.
Yeah, we don't get perfection.
We don't get to vote for the ideal.
But I think that the extent to which, first of all, the extent to which men showed up, I think was really important.
But there wasn't actually, from what I understand, some giant gasping gender gap that widened this election.
Women showed up for Trump, too.
Because I think that at the end of the day, it's not good for women to have weak men.
It is not good for our daughters to be raised in an environment where the thing that they're naturally, on average, going to be attracted to, which is strong, virile masculinity, is called toxic, and that they're not supposed to like that, they're not supposed to accept that.
That has The way that our kids have been subjected to the me-tooification of gender relations is as toxic and profound in our politics as COVID. Oh, that's huge.

Let's stop on this thing about the Me Too movement and you said like the weaponization or whatever of it.
So when my son, my son who graduated not too long ago and is now studying med school, When my son, who's a D1 athlete, you know, double majors, grade A student, when he tells me the stories of what it was like on his campus out in California, I just...
I simply could not relate to being him at his age.
He's a super handsome guy, tall, athletic, and then basically he used to spend every Friday night, every Saturday night with witnesses walking drunk women walking On campus, back to their rooms so that they wouldn't do anything foolish and then blame one of his friends the day after in some fugue of regret that he assaulted her.
You know, the friend assaulted her.
And I'm thinking, what kind of pressure, A... Does that put on a man?
And then what happens to what should be the convivial, natural relations between the two sexes?
How does this not distort those relations for years, if not decades?
It's like a horror story to me, John.
It starts so much earlier than that, Sebastian.
My son is 19, and he was feeling this Collapse of the most basic kind of human norms in middle school.
Wow.
Can you give an example?
Oh, yeah.
So, for example, he had girls that he liked and who liked him.
And he was so reluctant to make a move, to make the first move.
And I told him, I said, I don't care what you're being told or what you're hearing.
Girls want you to make the first move.
They just do.
You need to initiate that first kiss.
The fact that we have to say that after 6,000 years of written history that women do not want to make the move.
It's insanity, John.
But the thing is, he pushed back on me.
But he was also reading the signals that he was getting in this sort of social media toxified B.S. gender relationship landscape that our kids are in.
So I understand where he was being reticent and not wanting to be seen as an aggressor.
But it's like you're 13, 14 years old.
And then I'm thinking to myself, Well, am I like a dinosaur now?
Like, am I giving bad advice as a father to say, like, you should, you know, you should grab her and kiss her.
Like, is that crazy advice?
I don't think that's crazy advice.
So what is the source?
I mean, you have this podcast now.
When we look at The onslaught of men are bad, white men are bad, Western civilization is evil.
If you had to identify the epicenter of that, What is it?
There's all kinds of different avenues and transmission belts, but what is the most damaging, deleterious of them?
Is it social media?
Is it the teachers, the teacher training colleges?
You've got to be delving into this every day with your podcast.
What is the epicenter?
I mean, I think there's several key things.
It's not a simple answer.
So I think...
At the most basic level, I think that we have become a nation of wimps.
We live in luxury, relatively speaking.
I know there's people who are struggling to get by.
I know there's plenty of people who would say, how dare you say we're living in luxury when we're not, but globally, historically, biologically, we're living in luxury.
Our poor people are fat.
That's luxury.
And so what has happened is we have a culture of Preciousness about our kids.
We treat them like little teacups.
We have fewer of them than we used to.
So we treat the fewer number of kids even more fragile.
And so from a very early age, this helicopter snowplow parenting sets up psychological fragility.
I think that's number one.
I know helicopter parenting.
What is snowplow?
I'm not familiar with that.
Snowplow is not merely floating over your kids to make sure that they don't get into an argument or fall out of the swings.
It's to say, I need to make sure you never get a B. I need to make sure that starting in kindergarten, your path to getting into a brand name NV League university is clear.
And I will do whatever it takes.
I'll pay off the admissions officer if I have to, to make sure you can get into USC or Harvard or Princeton or Whatever.
And so we don't allow our kids to fail, to feel pain, to feel rejection, to feel challenge.
Kids don't get summer jobs like they used to.
That has collapsed now.
So they're not getting kicked around in the workplace.
Can I just focus on that for a second?
Because there's somebody we both know who's a great intellect.
And I love him dearly.
But I can tell from some of the things he says that are just completely detached from reality that he hasn't spent a week cutting wood.
You know, he hasn't, you know, had to leave his overalls outside when he came home from his summer job because they were covered in filth.
That rite of passage is non-negotiable for a young man.
Do you concur, John?
I do.
I think my son was working in the Texas heat for the Public Works Department.
With the machete cutting down agave plants in 100 degrees in 8th grade.
You don't have to kill a lion by yourself in the middle of the bush.
But yeah, I think cutting down agaves in the middle of the Texas or Florida heat is close to that.

I think the thing that's interesting about that fact is that there's a broad range of people who aren't all dyed-in-the-wool right-wingers who agree with that.

But you've got an environment that was always left-leaning.

The Black Lives Matter founders called themselves trained Marxists.

It's not hyperbole.
When you look at the intersectional philosophy that drives all this, you look at queer theory and the people behind it, they're Marxists.
So that's what's going on.
It's not trying to pussyfoot around and play soft.
I think that's actually mostly cowardice.

How much of everything that we're talking about is a function of a lack of courage?

I don't want to overdo it.
I know I'm biased because I worked for him in the White House, but I think this could be a catalytic moment in a tectonic situation.

right now John Popolo How significant could it be in terms of wresting civilization back from those who hate it?
That men across the world, women across the world, saw a man shot in the head who got up, took control of his personal security detail, which is against all protocol, said, hang on, I'm not leaving yet, with blood on his face, lifted his fist and said, fight, fight, fight.
How influential could that moment be from Butler, Pennsylvania?
I... In the immediate aftermath of that, several people stepped forward, including, I think, Elon, and said, I'm all in.
And I think the reason is pretty straightforward, and it's something we just forget.
And that is, there are certain moments that really show you who a person is when the chips are down.
And that was obviously one for Trump.
I mean, to say that he isn't someone with Brass balls and courage the likes of which a lot of people don't have is you can't not be.
That is such a visceral experience.
It's crazy.
That is fight or flight mode.
Yeah.
And he did not do flight.
He did fight, fight, fight.
And I think that said a lot to a lot of Americans about what this man is built to do.
Now, that doesn't mean he's not capable of Problems, right?
I'm not like the world's biggest Trump fan.
I don't think he's God's gift to the world in every single respect.
I'm not a cultist.
But I looked at that and said, holy cow, this guy's really unbelievable.
This is an unbelievable moment.
And the fact that our politics decided in the 11th hour, or the Democrats, I should say, To just go right back to the kind of toxic He's Hitler vitriol that gave rise to multiple assassination attempts, and they did so without the slightest bit of irony.
I thought this was supposed to be the unification team.
I thought this was the team of joy.
I mean, given strength through joy was actually a Nazi slogan, so maybe they were keeping more true to history than people realize.
But this was all done without irony.
It's like, It's not good that you've ratcheted up the rhetoric to such an extent where people are taking shots at our candidates.
Yeah, yeah.
And yet the fact that he stood there, I mean...
And then went back.
I was there when he went.
He goes back to the place where he was shot.
And then Elon says that classic line, I want the president who doesn't fall downstairs, but who gets shot and gets up and shouts fight, fight, fight in his South African Canadian accent.
That hopefully will be a stimulant, an exemplar for men everywhere.
For you personally, when it comes to your value system, who was the greatest influence?
Was it your father, a football coach, an uncle?
I always love to ask our guests who had the most kind, oh yeah, that's the man I want to be influence on you.
Oh, it's my dad.
It's not even hard.
I'm very blessed.
I had my father.
My grandfather, my mom's dad in particular, and my Uncle Bill, who passed away in the past couple of years, and together we were like a foursome.
So I, in a world where one in four Americans are being raised without a dad in the home, I had three incredible South Valley Italians.
You're a lucky man.
People forget, for me, my mother's father was a big deal.
People forget the influence of grandfathers, right, John?
It's grandfathers...
I think this is actually something, and again, this is really my Italian roots showing.
I think a weakness of American culture, and maybe it's the Anglo part of American culture, is the failure to respect our elders.
Well, not just that.
As somebody who grew up in Europe, the whole idea that extended family is anathema.
I mean, my wife kicked out of her home age 18, and the dad says, you're on your own now.
It's like...
It's like, you know, what happened to families hanging out?
The grandparents look after the newborns.
This is one of our core weaknesses, don't you think?
It is, and I will say, this is a culture that we get more of when we have more Latin Americans in this country, to be honest.
We're here in Texas.
We've gotten to be close with a lot of Mexican-Americans.
They've got this in spades.
They have a sense of family and faith at the core of their identity that I hope, like the Borg, America takes the best of those who come in and assimilates it.
And I hope the American Borg can assimilate more of that Latin family-first ethos.

We can criticize, we can analyze, we can diagnose, but there's no part of manhood that is defined by bitching and moaning.
Not if you want to have a manhood worthy of any kind of pride in itself.

I mean, if you want to be proud to be a man...
I find pride to be, you know, maybe it's just my Catholicism, but pride to sin.
So I'm not big on pride.
But I think if you want to have any sense of dignity or duty as a man, you need to understand what it means to be a good one.
