the the
you And I love this about the press, like, mainstream media, they're like, oh no, they're saying we're unfair and they're saying that we have hidden this, but who hid it?
Who hid it?
Who?
You know, for all of these right-wing stooges that are saying, oh, the mainstream media hid this, but, you know, like I said, I'm proud I probably spent more time with Joe Biden than most reporters.
Talked to him about in-depth foreign policy.
Talked to him about the guy.
The guy was completely there.
If he weren't, I would have been the first to come on the show the next day and say, President's not there.
Who hit it?
Who did it?
Joe, it was somebody called Joe.
Cut one.
Start your tape right now, because I'm about to tell you the truth.
And F you if you can't handle the truth.
This version of Biden, intellectually, analytically, is the best Biden ever.
Not a close second.
And I've known him for years.
The Brzezinski's have known him for 50 years.
If it weren't the truth, I wouldn't say it.
It's the best Biden ever!
Gaslighting level 11.
Dear friends, it's great to be back.
I had a week off.
Did I really?
No, I was working every single day in the waterways of Alaska with 400 of you, our dearest listeners.
It's wonderful to be back.
We had an amazing time with my muse, with Jennifer Horne, with Mike Gallagher, with Chris de Gaulle, but it's good to be back.
Mr. G, how was it away?
Were you worried that something really big would happen while I wasn't in studio?
I told you this was one of the worst weeks to take off.
That was after the fact, but...
There was a pretty busy week.
It was tough not to be in studio.
How did Mark Davis and Jim do?
They did fine.
Good, good.
Well, thank you, Jim Hansen.
Thank you, Mark Davis.
It is good to be back.
It's always the same.
Whenever I go on vacation or I'm away from this desk, from this studio, big things happen.
And the big question for today, and well, let's just put it in the next five days.
Is Joe Biden going to make it to Friday?
There's only one way to get rid of him, okay?
They only can replace him.
if he decides to bow out how does that happen there's only one way that happens and that's if the big donors say uh... sorry no more money for the next hundred days you will not get the hundreds of millions of dollars you need from us from the zuckerbergs of this world if that happens he has no choice but otherwise He's not going anywhere because of Jill Biden.
Quite shockingly, the current incumbent of the White House wrote a two-page letter to the Democrats in Congress.
And I'd just like to share some of this letter with you so you understand the perspective of what they're trying to sell And what they're going to run on for the next hundred days, irrespective of who the candidate is, whether it's Kamala or somebody else they parachute in.
Fellow Democrats!
Now that you have returned from the July 4th recess, I want you to know that despite all the speculation in the press and elsewhere, I am firmly committed to staying in this race, to running this race to the end, and to beating Donald Trump.
Hmm, an interesting beginning, yes.
He talks about the concerns people have for him, and they say, he writes, I know these concerns come from a place of real respect for my lifetime of public service.
Yes, that's where they come from, Joe.
I can respond to all of this by saying clearly and unequivocally, I wouldn't be running again if I did not absolutely believe I was the best person to beat Donald Trump in 2024.
Joe, you just keep on believing that.
I feel a deep obligation To the faith and the trust the voters of the Democrat Party have placed in me, not the press, not the pundits, not the big donors.
And this line is really interesting.
I received over 14 million votes during the nomination process.
Hey Eric, how many votes did Biden allegedly get in the election against Donald Trump?
Last time around he allegedly got 81 million votes against Trump.
Hang on, how much?
81.
81?
Yeah, a little more than 14 million.
But I wouldn't be writing that in a letter that...
81 million voted for me to be president and now only 14 million could be bothered to nominate?
That's like a fraction, isn't it?
Well, and even worse than that, he got 19 million in the 2020 primaries, so he's down 5 million compared to four years ago.
Oh, I didn't even know that.
So weird that you'd actually put that in the letter you're writing to Congress.
I have no doubt that I and we can and will beat Donald Trump.
We have a historic record.
Okay, listen to this is this next paragraph of a two-page letter is what he lists as his successes in the last four years.
Okay, this is interesting.
We created 15 million jobs as if allowing people to go back to work after COVID is a creation of a job.
We have historic low levels of unemployment.
We've revitalized American manufacturing and expanded affordable health care.
We've rebuilt America's roads, bridges, highways, ports and airports and water systems.
I wonder if anybody can actually back that.
Call in if you've seen the revitalization of America's roads, airports and water systems.
That's 833-33-GORKA.
We've beaten Big Pharma, lowered the costs of prescription drugs, including insulin for seniors, and provided student debt relief.
You mean, you mean getting me and you, taxpayers, to pay for illegally cancelled student debts?
That's right.
That's his achievements.
It's so weird.
It's so strange.
Jeff, why do you think he doesn't mention the border or national security, Ukraine or the Middle East?
Because those are epic failures.
But isn't it weird?
He doesn't mention anything to do with foreign policy in the last three and a half years.
And that was supposedly his strength when he was running in 2020.
Remember?
Yes!
How much better he was?
Because he's the expert.
Yes.
Now how about this sentence?
This is the best of all.
And we're the ones lowering costs for families.
Lowering costs for families.
Yeah.
What does it close with?
Do you remember the last, what has it been, year and more?
DONALD TRUMP IS A THREAT TO DEMOCRACY!
HE'S A DICTATOR!
I'm reading verbatim from this sentence, right here, verbatim, from this letter to Congress, to the Democrats.
This is Joe Biden writing.
We can never allow Trump anywhere near the White House again.
And we never will.
Huh!
And there I was thinking that the American people get to choose who the president is through the Electoral College.
I guess that doesn't count if you're a Democrat, because they're going to stop you from choosing who you want.
All right, guys, there's only two lines left.
Sound off.
Is he going to make it till Friday?
Or are they going to pull the plug?
Are the donors, the big damn donors, going to pull the plug before the end of the week?
833-33 Gorka.
That's 833-334-6752.
Show the world that you're on his side.
You're America first.
You're MAGA.
We've got his booking photograph on a T-shirt with the phrase, Outlaw President 2024.
Get the yard sign, get the mug, get all your America First gear at SebGorkerStore.com.
That's S-E-B-G-O-R-K-A-Store.com.
But most important of all, please support him, the President, directly at DonaldJTrump.com.
We've got amazing guests for you, Matt Gaetz, John Solomon, we've got Hakari Lake, and also you, the most important part of the show, the number 833-33-GORKER.
to sound off on the topics of the day. That's 833-334-6752.
Who's Seth Moulton?
I recognize that Democrat.
Democrat from Massachusetts.
He ran for president in 2020 for about five minutes.
He styles himself as like a big foreign policy guy.
Right, right, right.
I was a little- so I was kind of not surprised to see him, you know, say he's against Biden at this point.
And Bashir is governor for where?
Kentucky.
He's one of those really stubborn red state democrats that we can't seem to beat.
Okay.
Right, you want to record this, um, these liners, Alex?
Oh, excuse me.
I'm Val.
you you
I I
I know Sebastian well.
Listen to him.
He's with us.
Thank you, Mr. President.
Look, people are saying on the Rumble feed, you've got to talk about your week off.
It wasn't a week off.
I was with you guys, 400 listeners on that cruise to Alaska.
PHD weight loss now more relevant than ever.
They feed you a lot on those ships.
I'm scared to get back on the scale.
But it's OK, because Dr. Ashley Lucas is available.
She's the woman who got me to lose 42 pounds the first time.
Katie lost 36.
She looks incredible.
When your wife needs a whole new wardrobe because everything is too big, happy wife, happy life.

If I can do it, anyone can. All right, the question for the day, David, John, Judy, don't
go anywhere, is will Biden last till the end of the week?
The number is 833-333-GORKA.
That's 833-334-6752.
He's got some special news he wants to share with us.
But first, I'm going to ask him, because I'm sure he's got a good take.
He is that firebrand.
He should write a book with that title, or maybe launch a podcast.
I think he has!
The one and only Floridian Congressman, Matt Gaetz.
Happy Monday, Matt.
It's good to be with you.
It's a perilous week for Joe Biden, no doubt.
A lot of the senior leaders in the Democratic House caucus who lead major committees like the Judiciary Committee, the Armed Services Committee, they're saying behind closed doors that they just don't believe Joe Biden has it to be the candidate.
I think that if Joe Biden makes it through the week, he'll certainly be hobbled.
But if you believe the data in the Harris X poll that just came out, and there's no
reason not to, the Democrats are in a really bad position, because their choice is to either
lose with Joe Biden or lose worse with Kamala Harris.
A lot of those voters in the blue wall states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin,
they're not too keen on Kamala Harris's embrace of democratic socialism and what that would
mean in an administration she would potentially lead.
So, we're ready to put forward President Trump's vision in the convention that's coming up.
I think he's going to have an exciting vice presidential pick for us to all chew on, and
it'll be nothing but making America great again from that point forward.
Well, we'd love to see you in a Trump cabinet.
It's up to us to get him re-elected, God willing.
But when you see your friends, your colleagues, the likes of Little Teddy Lou and Jerry the Waddler Nadler say it's time for Biden to step aside, look, here's my take.
You're on the inside.
Here's my take.
You can't get rid of an incumbent president unless they want to, and If the donors say, you're not getting a penny.
If the big donors say, sorry, then he will step out of the office.
But they have to convince Jill first.
And then, they can't get rid of the diversity hire.
They can't jump over the black female vice president.
Am I missing anything, Congressman Gates?
That's pretty spot on, but can we just take a moment and draw a fine point on the fact that Jerry Nadler is having to be the voice of reason when it comes to someone's physical and mental capacity to do the job.
Jerry Nadler sleeps through about 18% of all Judiciary Committee meetings.
He has slept through committee meetings.
He has chaired His staff call it low power mode when he just sort of nods off.
And so when Jerry Nadler has to step forward and say, wait a second, I don't think Joe Biden quite has the stuff to continue this job.
I think you should listen.
Is that the guy who wears his mask on his chin during COVID?
Are we talking about the same guy?
The mask certainly was undefeated against Jerry Nadler whenever he would fumble around with it in an attempt to put it on but you make a good point about the money because money is the mother's milk of politics and in a world in which these donors are not gonna continue to fund the elder abuse that we see on display
before the country anymore is the moment that I think you'll see more ambition start to
emerge within the Democratic Party.
But you're right. Nobody is climbing over Kamala Harris.
Kamala Harris has been checking Joe Biden's pulse every time she's shaken his hand for the
last four years. She has measured for the drapes and the oval. She's already
envisioned how she's going to redecorate that place. And so I don't I don't think that there's
anybody going to wrestle that nomination away from her. And then the problem is, what is the voting
coalition that she can put together?
She's certainly not going to ignite the Obama coalition.
And the Biden coalition seems to just like have been reduced to like Maxine Waters and a few
elderly black women.
And that is the Joe Biden coalition right now.
And I don't know if it's enough to carry him through the convention or not.
The website is gates.house.gov.
Follow him on Twitter at Rep Matt Gates.
You have been one of the few true MAGA America Firsters out there on Capitol Hill.
But it's bigger than President Trump.
It's bigger than America.
We see Nigel Farage's amazing success.
A few days ago in the UK we see incredible results in the European Parliament and of course in El Salvador there's a president who's getting stuff done as well as others in the region.
Tell us about your latest venture that I think kind of recognizes the international nature of this, you know, recrudescence of truly representative politics.
This is what I love about this program.
We actually define the features of America First policy and we're often incorrectly labeled as isolationists and that's not true at all.
We want America to have great friends all over the world.
We want our policies to be the benefit of our people and then our hope is that inspires other countries to have their own visions of strong culture and strong borders and strong identity so that so that they'll be able to inspire others beyond.
And one of the great examples of a rejuvenation in the world today is El Salvador.
The president, Nayib Bukele, has transformed that country from the murder capital of the
world into one of the safest countries in the Western Hemisphere.
And certainly he's one of the most popular leaders in the Western Hemisphere by rejecting
globalism and embracing the good in his own people.
And so today I announced the launch of the El Salvador Congressional Caucus.
I launched it in a bipartisan fashion along with Democrat Vincente Gonzalez.
And we're going to nurture the U.S.-El Salvador relationship, and we're going to highlight how some of the choices President Bukele has made on security, going after the gangs, locking up the criminals, how that has resulted in prosperity for his people and leadership for his own country and the world.
Yeah, I didn't come up with this, but somebody expressed it really very well, that we are America first, MAGA is America first, but that doesn't mean America alone.
I'm sure you'd agree with that.
No doubt.
We absolutely have to be able to make things happen everywhere in the world.
But our argument is that being involved in endless wars places or funding corrupt entities is not really the way to bring the American spirit to life.
We can inspire more by being a great shining example of ourselves and we can work bilaterally with countries who want to share that vision.
Bukele, he had a great slogan when he first ran for office.
He said there's enough money for everyone if nobody steals.
And imagine if we had more leaders in the Western Hemisphere who thought that way.
I think that it would be certainly enlightening.
I love it.
I love it.
All right.
Here's something I want to do in front of three and a half million listeners and viewers.
I'll be at the RNC.
I'll be at the convention after we have the president nominated, after we have a vice president.
I don't care if it's on Skype like we're doing right now.
Can we get you back for one of our strategy sessions for a whole hour, Congressman?
Oh yeah, absolutely.
And you know, it's not only policy strategy, but it's how we're going to have to communicate this to the voters who are going to decide this election in some of the key states.
And different people are going to have to mobilize different features of that message.
But at the end of the day, you know, it's the three I's.
It's the invasion at our border.
It's the inflation killing our economy and it's the incompetence of a current president who
has now gone from being the butt of jokes to being a real national security threat.
In nine minutes we've got the three eyes and we've got a brand new slogan from our buddies
in El Salvador. There's enough money for everybody if nobody steals it. Follow him at
Rep Matt Gates the book, the podcast, Firebrand. And don't forget to give us a follow on social
media. Look for me on all the platforms, Seb Gawker or Sebastian Gawker as well as my sub-sac,
sebastiangawker.subsac.com.
Um What we can learn from El Salvador?
No, no, no, no, no.
It's gotta be about Nadler.
Nadler is giving Biden health advice?
Question mark.
Yes, question mark exclamation.
Unreal.
Nadler, little cherry!
It's time for Tic Tac.
Who likes Tic Tacs?
Who doesn't like Tic Tacs?
Yes, but what about orange Tic Tacs?
I love orange.
I generally like anything orange-flavored.
Skittles, anything.
In England, they had tangerine-flavored, which were amazing.
That sounds really good.
And lime.
I do like lime.
I haven't seen lime in America.
Have you ever seen lime?
It depends on what you mean.
Lime Tic Tacs?
Lime Tic Tacs.
Not to my knowledge.
Little sound effects on the radio.
Love that.
That was good, he's good.
Oh yeah, the set he had was great too.
Yeah.
So Clyburn has said he doesn't want Biden to run, or he's got issues.
Is that true, Geoff?
It's on his tweet.
Are they going from the interview on Sunday?
It doesn't say, it's just a tweet.
Hmm.
Because he did talk about it, that stupid Blitz primary that they could do.
What is that Blitz primary?
It's in there.
It is how they think that they can quickly do it, have Oprah interview people and stuff.
Yeah, yeah.
I sent out the request for guests, right?
Did I send that email?
I don't think so.
What?
Are you kidding me?
I'll leave it in the outbox.
Oh, what's a good one to come in with?
Oh, geez.
I'll come in with two.
Two.
All right.
Oh, yes.
And then I'll do my pillow.
Oh, look, it's right there.
It's a draft.
That's so funny.
90 seconds. Alright. I'm done.
All right.
I just sent it.
You're sending stuff out every day, right?
Twice?
Substack?
Yeah.
Okay, great.
I get new followers every day, so you must be doing something.
Alright.
Again, people said on the cruise they love the rumble in the brakes.
It's so weird.
It's unique, I think.
I mean, how many other shows do that?
Like, radio shows?
Who does this behind the scenes stuff?
I don't know.
I think that's it right there, yeah.
Mmm mmm mmm mmm.
Ahh.
Come here.
Ahh.
Remember all this talk about how I don't have the black support?
Come on, give me a break.
Come with me.
Watch.
Watch.
I'm getting so frustrated by the elites.
Now, I'm not talking about you guys, but about the elites in the party, who they know so much more.
If any of these guys don't think I should run against me, go ahead, announce the president.
Challenge me at the convention.
Jeff, that was like, what was that?
That was so low quality.
Was that Joe giving an interview in like a tin can?
What was that?
No, that's called he's using the speakerphone because you could actually hear him ruffling through papers.
He was reading every answer that he had.
That's why he wasn't on camera.
And he did that for a TV show?
Yeah, Trump used to do that all the time because Trump could do whatever he wanted because the ratings are good.
This is the first time I think I've ever seen him do this.
So, does that mean he's desperate?
Uh, I don't think he's desperate.
I think he's gone and he knows he's gone.
Really?
You think he knows he's finished?
Here's what I think.
The family I said, they've been criminals their whole life.
The whole reason in politics was to get as much money off the office as they could.
Right now, the fact that they know you're gonna lose, they can never get more money from the donors and all this stuff right now.
So they're just holding on for the best deal?
Yes, and that deal is getting better and better by the day.
Wow, that's fascinating.
What does he mean by the elites?
He's been like a senator for 50 years.
That's priceless.
All right, we're going to go to your calls in a second.
If you enjoy the show as much as we love providing it to you, please go and shop at Mike Lindell's website.

Let's go to David in Florida.
Hey, Dr. G. Welcome back.
Thank you.
It's good to be back.
And a great conversation with my congressman.
Thank you.
I met the man.
He's a good man.
Is he your district?
Is Matt your district?
District 1?
Yes, sir.
Yes, sir.
He is.
Cool.
All right.
What's your comment?
What's your question, David?
I want to apologize for a previous time that I called and we got into it about the debate, but all is good because you were right and I was wrong.
But I wanted to talk about with the Supreme Court decisions now that they have just come down with immunity.
Is this going to put a stop finally to some of these bogus charges that they keep trying to bring up against My president and hopefully the next president of the United States, Trump, is this going to put a stop to this or is this going to make matters worse?
Well, it'll affect everything that occurred while he was in the White House.
So, you know, the documents case is going to like collapse as it already is collapsing.
But when it comes to other things, which occurred before like in New York it doesn't change the fact that he has to be sentenced because that's an allegation from seven years ago so you know when it comes to what he did four years inside the White House yes he's covered by that decision but if they find stuff from beforehand or they just make it up you know who these people are they're just driven by hatred great question and you're a big man you admitted you were wrong stay on the line give him our outlaw President Trump t-shirt because David is
He's a big man.
Let's go to John in Nebraska.
Thank you.
Thank you for taking my call.
Sure.
My wife was diagnosed with dementia in 2018, and she had the force of thought to go and have a CAT scan and a MRI, and it showed that she had shrinkage of the front cortex, which it controls through short-term memory.
As a result of that, her short-term memory started getting worse and worse, and I had to finally put her into long-term care in 2018.
Now, that's only a couple years between.
If this man gets reelected, he'll never make it through four years.
So I think what they're going to do is they're going to circle the wagon, try to get this guy reelected, and don't criticize me for this, but if he did get reelected, Then they would immediately declare him incompetent, and then the vice president will move up to the presidency.
I think that's their strategy.
That's why they're... Why would I yell at you, John?
That's a very cogent scenario.
Well, yeah, I appreciate that.
Also, I am from Delaware, and I am the same age, and I grew up in the same neighborhood as he did, and I know the Biden family.
And what's the reputation of the Biden family, John?
Well, the Biden family didn't have a very good reputation for selling used cars.
Thank you, John.
I think your scenario is also possible that they just bounce him along, although do they think they can win with him?
I think that's getting less and less likely, but then they swap him out afterwards.
Could be.
We shall see.
More of your calls after we get an update from John Solomon.
So, Judy, Ty, Cindy, don't go anywhere.

Wadler!
Again, you look at like older videos of him when he was first elected to Congress, he looks just like
Newman from Seinfeld.
Oh, Wadler?
Oh, yeah.
Thousand percent.
Like, the same glasses and everything.
And he was much bigger, too.
Bigger?
He was even bigger than he is now.
Oh, yeah.
I actually typed in Jerry Wadler.
Is it just me or is he kind of wound up more on the fringes compared to where he used to be of the Democrat leadership?
I think so, yeah.
Oh my gosh, he was gargantuan!
I told you!
He looks like he's wearing a fat suit!
Jerry Nadler back when he first got elected, like he was massive.
Whoa!
Like I remember he did that big press conference like two years ago when they announced we're gonna introduce a bill to expand the Supreme Court and then it just went nowhere.
Yeah.
Gordon Bennett.
Whoa!
Look at this picture of him.
I can't tell if that's age or if he just found a good weight loss program or something.
Look at this!
Look at this picture of him.
Oh yeah.
Oh yeah.
Three chins.
Three chins.
That's horrific.
Newman.
Newman.
90 seconds.
Yeah, he does.
He does, he looks like Newman.
Is John connecting?
uh, j- Jeff's about to call him, says he's not online.
Okay.
Patriot.
Okay, come in with something.
What do we got?
This is D, so, hmm.
Another one of the Biden cuts from Scarborough?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like from 3 or 4?
They're both really short.
Or maybe the Joy Reid cut.
Oh, it's ringing on Skype.
Yeah.
Seven.
Seven.
Joy read.
And then I'll do Patreon.
Hey guys.
Hey buddy.
50 seconds.
How are you?
Good.
Back in the saddle.
Good.
Did you have a good holiday?
Uh, I need a vacation for being on a ship with 400 listeners.
Work, work, work.
You're exhausted.
Yeah.
I forgot you were on the cruise.
That's right.
That's funny.
Alright, 20 seconds.
What's most important in your stories?
I love you.
I love you.
You You
You Just let me know when you guys are finished figuring it out
Democrats because I know y'all the freak out people Go ahead and freak out, have your conversation, and then let me know who I gotta vote for to keep Hitler out the White House.
That's it, I'm done.
Oh, and by the way, if it's Biden in a coma, I'mma vote for Biden in a coma.
I don't even really particularly like the guy.
A lot of his policies, don't like him.
He's not Donald Trump, right?
Yeah.
Hitler.
White House.
We keepin' him out.
Keepin' Project 2025 out.
The fear tactics never end, Joy Reid.
Hitler, keep him out of the White House!
Vote for the guy even if he's in a coma.
Just how mental is the mainstream legacy of lying media?
We'll ask our next guest here on America First.
But first things first, please don't fund the left.
What do I mean?
Your phone!
If it's connected to the big cell phone providers, you're actually funding the people who hate you.
Every call you make and every text you send, the big cell phone companies are woke!
They're left-wing and they give millions of dollars to things like Planned Parenthood and gun control organizations.
Switch to the only conservative Christian cell phone company, the one I use, Patriot Mobile.
The same nationwide coverage, a performance guarantee, extra discounts for veterans and first responders, and free activation with my name.
Keep your old number, keep your old phone, or get an upgrade, but don't fund your enemies.
Patriot Mobile has donated millions of dollars to the First Amendment, the Second Amendment, and the sanctity of life.
Switch today.
It's as easy as calling 972-PATRIOT, PatriotMobile.com slash GORKA.
That's 972-728-7468, or just go to PatriotMobile.com slash G-O-R-K-A.
His website, That has a shocking story on it that in the last two years a Parkinson's disease specialist has visited the White House ten times.
I wonder why that is.
It's great to check in after a week away.
John Solomon of justinews.com.
Happy Monday.
Yeah, happy Mondays.
Good to be with you.
Yeah, boy, there's a lot we don't know about Joe Biden and his doctors.
First, we have a White House physician who's advising James Biden, right?
And helping him on the AmeriCorps deal.
That's now become a matter of the impeachment inquiry.
This is really important.
I think people miss this story.
Yeah.
So there's somebody who works in a mental, in a medical capacity for Joe Biden, who's embroiled in Biden family business.
Correct, John?
That's correct.
He was giving advice, according to James Comer, to James Biden on a deal that has raised a lot of eyebrows.
James Biden was working with a failing rural health care company.
The bankruptcy trustees have criticized that relationship, suggesting it wasn't beneficial to the company.
And one of Joe Biden's physicians, the official White House physician
taking care of Joe Biden, somehow involved in that, according to James Comer,
this explosive letter that came out on a Sunday afternoon.
And meanwhile, it's that same physician who doesn't want to give Joe Biden a cognitive exam,
even though there's a lot of Democrats calling for a cognitive exam of Joe Biden right now.
pretty remarkable stuff going on.
And then you got this Parkinson specialist.
We don't know why.
Maybe he's there for a policy position, to develop policy.
Maybe he's there in a personal capacity for the president.
We don't have the answers we need yet from the Biden White House.
Right.
Now, you've got a national security story we'll discuss in a second, but I have to get your take as somebody who's worked at every formerly prestigious media entity you could list.
What we've just seen in the last three weeks.
So we've been told by the establishment media for two years, there is nothing physically or mentally wrong with the current incumbent.
How dare you?
That's conspiracy theory.
And now they're writing op-eds.
They're writing editorial page articles in the New York Times and elsewhere saying, Joe, Joe's mentally got problems and he needs to stand down.
Do these people...
Do they not understand how that looks like from the outside, John?
Or are you just inured to that level of hypocrisy?
I think they've stopped communicating with their constituency, their readers, their viewers.
They're so caught in their own little special interest bubble here in Washington, D.C., they don't realize what they look like to the rest of America.
Anyone who's watched the Joe Biden appearance in the last two years Didn't see anything different from those appearances and what happened at the debate.
He's been fumbling, bumbling, lost, constantly needed to be guided to do basic things like getting off stage.
He reads teleprompter prompts.
The news media covered all of that up until their scam got shown on national TV where most people are paying attention for longer than a few minutes.
And now all of a sudden they're delving around trying to say it's a sudden onset.
It isn't a sudden onset.
It's been going on for two years and the media has simply not covered Joe Biden the way he needed to be covered at these events.
Now, outlets like yours and mine, we've done it, but large amounts of Americans were kept from that and that's why the debate was a shocker.
Alright, there are a few countries left in this world that are still communist nations.
Talk to us about the latest scandal concerning one of those that's very close to America, John.
Yeah, I just recently hosted Russian warships.
They've allowed China to open up military bases.
We're talking about Cuba, communist Cuba, which, among all those other things being communist, also was added to the Department of State's state-sponsored terrorist list back in 2021.
That should keep you on the persona non-gradualist when it comes to being in the United States.
But not in the Biden administration.
The Biden administration gave Cuban agents from the communist government access to Miami's very sensitive airport, and then brought them to our VIP meeting here in Washington at TSA headquarters, the Transportation Security Administration headquarters.
Hang on, let me just repeat that.
Our airport security team.
Officials of communist...
Cuba, we're allowed inside the entity that keeps our travel system secure, John.
That's what you said.
That's exactly what I said, and not only did I say it, on Wednesday there's going to be a great hearing.
Congressman Carlos Jimenez of Florida has pulled this all together.
It's just jaw-dropping to see the lack of security, the lack of common sense, the lack
of optical common sense that this Biden administration has.
They don't see anything wrong.
They didn't see anything wrong in letting a state sponsor of terrorism inside the back
door of Miami Airport or inside the TSA headquarters where we plan our airport security.
A crazy story, and it's going to get crazier on Wednesday with a very important hearing
on Capitol Hill.
Stories you will not find elsewhere.
That's why you've got to bookmark justthenews.com and follow John at jsolomonreports.
Thank you, John.

And real quick by the way, a super chat that came in while you were gone.
Wanted to read it once you're back.
GuloGulo88 for $2 says, If I were Trump, I would say I didn't want a second debate.
Because I don't want to participate in elder abuse.
That's funny.
It's weird, it's as if the screen color thing is smaller.
the world.
Bye!
Is it only four lines instead of five?
No, you have to read it, and I can't read it.
I can't read the text.
Oh, John!
Yeah, I just told John.
Um, the lamp's not working.
Oh.
The lava lamp.
Thanks.
Is there any way to, um... I thought it used to be bigger.
Oh, nice!
Thank you, that's it.
Thanks.
I actually haven't said this before, but the Rumble chat very often comments on the status of the lava lamp.
Oh, really?
Frequently, when the guests, when you can sit behind a guest, they'll almost always say, oh, the lava lamp's looking kind of slow today, or like, they're constantly... That's good, I love it.
They love it, yeah.
30 seconds.
Oh, want to come in with something here?
Uh, what's a short one?
We've got also those Biden cuts, 11 or 12, if you want to use either of those.
Those are softer, but uh...
Him like my brain.
Yeah, he does.
You know the li- But look, uh...
Even when I was running for Senate, each time I ran, quite frankly, not a joke, Philadelphia in particular, got me across the line.
No, I'm not joking.
What does that mean, Jeff?
What on earth does that mean?
Delaware, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania got me over the line?
What is that?
Back then, in the 70s, corrupt Philadelphia, that machine, that might actually not be a joke.
Yeah, that might actually be the first true thing he said.
If you want to have fun, check out Katie's podcast along with Jennifer Horne, the Happy Women podcast, wherever you get your podcasts.
You won't regret it.
The Happy Women podcast and Katie's new book with Mike Gonzalez, Next Gen Marxism, what it is and how to combat it.
We actually had a panel on the ship solely about the book and it was it was fabulous.
I'll talk to you about our cruise with our listeners in a second.
But we got calls to get through.
Judy Brooklyn, line one.
Hi, welcome back.
Thank you.
Hey, you need another vacation from the vacation?
I was cracking up when you had 400 listeners!
Oh my god, you need the energy.
You probably had a lot of coffee, hopefully, today.
Listen, I'm so happy to talk to you.
You know, I want to share some hopes that I have, okay?
Okay, you ready?
Go ahead.
Okay, I hope That all those dead people that voted for Biden in 2020, I think they're going to vote for Trump this time around, all those dead people.
And like those 12 suitcases full of Biden votes, I hope this time we'll have 12 suitcases for Trump voters, you know, like that.
You know something?
Last time President Trump, he was ahead by 67%.
Can you imagine?
At 10.30pm, till those swing votes decided that the bathrooms weren't working.
So this time around, I hope he'll be ahead by 100%.
That's what I'm hoping.
These are my hopes.
All right.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Great to hear from you.
Let's go to Ty in Pennsylvania.
Hey, Dr. Gorka, I love your show.
Thank you.
Let me make this quick.
I just wanted to say that I listen to a lot of conservative radio, and I keep hearing that the Clintons or the Obamas or even The donor class is going to force him out of this.
And I keep thinking to myself, I heard that Jill Biden was down in South Carolina, I believe today.
And you know what?
She's a lot younger.
She's always been a lot smarter than him.
And I'm thinking maybe she's collected a lot of data because she keeps saying they're not going anywhere.
Maybe she's collected data on a lot of other people.
I just wanted to get your thoughts on that.
I don't know what that means.
Collecting data on other people.
I don't know what that means.
Well, she may have a little bit of dirt on all these people.
Yeah, but I'm sure they've got dirt on her, right?
She's going to be the person who decides whether or not her hubby leaves the White House.
But as Jeff said, I think, earlier, they need the deal of the century.
They're going to squeeze that lemon for the last juice drop.
Why?
Because that's who they are.
They're corrupt.
I think that's the negotiation we're waiting for right now.
How much do they get?
How much money do the Bidens get before they decide to hand it over to Kamala?
Great to hear you guys.
We're going to Dawn and Cindy in the next block.
Don't go anywhere.
The number is 833-33-GORKA.
That's 833-334-6752.
33 Gorka that's 833-334-6752.
Carrie Lake and Rich Barris next here on America First.
Music.
Music.
you you
I'm excited.
Why are you excited?
I'm excited because, hey, I don't give two **** about going to Danbury Prison, okay?
Here's what I give a **** about.
We're going to take down Merrick Garland, Lisa Monaco, and the corrupt DOJ, and the FBI, and all of it.
I could care less, okay?
I'm excited because MAGA's going to let out a roar tonight, and tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day, and burn it all down until we get to November 5th.
where President Trump's gonna win in a landslide.
And we'll be right back.
you you
Bye.
I'm excited.
Where President Trump's going to win in a landslide.
Where was I?
I was on a ship heading to Juneau and Sitka and the Glacier Bay in Alaska when that was broadcast.
Jeff, what day was that clip from Steve Bannon in the war room?
When did that occur?
It was Monday.
The day he reported for prison?
Yes.
Wow, wow.
Let's keep Steve Bannon in our prayers, dear friends.
Four months from last Monday, he will be there.
Why?
Because he had to be taken out of the running.
Remember, this is the man, this is the man who took President Trump, candidate Trump, from 16 points down against Hillary Clinton to win in 2016.
That's why he had to be neutered for four months.
He's a honey badger.
He will not be stopped.
And he actually gave another statement on his show.
Do not write to him in Danbury Prison.
Do not waste your time, he said, writing to me.
I'll be fine.
Get busy winning the election for President Trump.
We salute you, Steve Bannon.
Stay frosty.
Watch your back.
And maybe you should be writing like that communist Antonio Gramsci wrote the plan for the loony left, Scritti Politi, when he was in prison.
Maybe we can have the MAGA version of that.
I'm Sebastian.
Oh, thank you, Eric.
Is that his number?
Put that up again.
Is that actually his official federal prisoner number?
That is indeed the number as he read it out on Monday.
Alright.
Prisoner number 05635-507 Stephen K. Bannon.
Served honorably in the White House, in the Navy, but now he's a felon because, well, because they're afraid of him.
And so they should be because the person who is currently in the White House, well, He has mental issues.
Here's a little reminder of just how bad they are.
This is supposed to be the interview that fixes things.
This is Cut 5 from Morning Joe with Joe Biden.
Have you been tested for any age-related illnesses, pre-Parkinson's or anything like that, that
might explain sort of having a night like that where you couldn't finish sentences?
Look, I had before, I was feeling so badly before the debate.
When I came back, they tested me for, I thought maybe I had COVID.
Maybe there was something wrong.
I had an infection or something.
They tested me.
They gave me those tests.
I was clear.
So, but look, I had a bad night.
But the fact of the matter is, look at what I'm doing.
I mean, let me put it this way.
If there was something that was wrong that night, it's not like it comes and that's one night and it goes away.
That's why I've been out.
I've been testing myself and testing everywhere I go going out and making the case the night of that debate I went out
I was out till 2 o'clock in the morning.
That very night.
That very night.
It drives me nuts, people talking about this.
Jeff, did I hear that right?
He said, if I was sick that night, it's something that doesn't go away?
That's the best part of it.
He just explained... And the other thing... So he said, I'm really sick!
Exactly.
So the other thing is, he might have COVID.
Trump had COVID the first time they debated him.
Did he ever stop mid-sentence in that entire debate?
Yeah, because that's what COVID does to you, right?
As anyone said the symptoms, all of a sudden I just couldn't speak.
I didn't know what I was saying.
My brain didn't work.
I had COVID.
I had the sniffles for like a couple of days.
Unbelievable.
All right, we've got people waiting patiently.
Let's go to Cindy in California.
Welcome, Cindy.
Hey, Seb.
Nice to talk to you.
Welcome back.
You have a lovely voice, Cindy.
Oh, well, thank you.
My hope for you on your cruise is that you did have time to smoke a nice cigar.
Hang on, hang on, hang on.
You keep talking, Cindy, while I send photographs of what I did on the poop deck with my colleagues.
Carry on, Cindy.
You're lucky that you can actually put that out in public.
Anyway, my question is, it's so hard to know what is going to happen.
But somehow, if they do manage to get rid of Biden and Kamala, What happens to the DNC money?
I'm getting conflicting stories that it cannot be used by a newcomer or that it can.
Yeah, I think it's pretty strict.
We'll get somebody like Hans von Spakovsky on to explain exactly what the restrictions are.
But it is my understanding that it's not fungible.
You just can't, you know, send it and give it to somebody else who's running.
That's why if Joe doesn't run, He can have it used by Kamala because they're on the same ticket, but they can't, for example, if Newsom comes along, they can't transfer those hundreds of millions of dollars.
That is my understanding, but we'll check into it.
Thank you, Cindy.
Let's go to, oh my gosh, all the ladies are here.
Let's go to Dawn, North Carolina.
Hello, how are you today?
Very well, very well.
And welcome back.
Thank you kindly.
It's good to be back.
What would you like to discuss?
Well, I'd like to discuss our whole election process.
You have to have money to become president.
You have to have money to do anything with.
Why?
Why can't we just have an election system that says, OK, you get this much advertising.
That's it.
That's all you get.
None of this throwing money at people, getting their attention, knowing the The candidate, on a personal level, why can't we do that instead of doing what we're doing?
It's just throwing money, it is a popularity contest.
Yeah, well look, there are issues with knowing a candidate personally in a nation of 330 million, so you have to use media somehow.
I like what they did when I was a kid in England.
I don't know if it's the same today, but there was a government cap.
You got a certain amount of money.
As a party, and you couldn't raise more money, and that was the limit, and it was a very short election span.
I mean, we just had elections in the UK, Labour won, and when did they announce those elections?
Like, what, a month ago or something?
It wasn't a four-year period of electioneering, it was a very short one.
I don't know, we'd have to have another Supreme Court case, that changes how elections are funded, or Congress would
have to police themselves.
But there is something to what you said, because the idea that in 2016, we spent $700 million
on the election, and Hillary spent $1.4 billion.
That's over $2 billion of campaign financing for a presidential election.
It sounds it sounds obscene.
Thank you, Adorn.
I don't think we can fix it in the next four months, but there is a problem out there.
Let's go to Sacramento, Patricia.
Hello, Dr. Gorka.
Hey, I think.
How are you?
Good.
I think that that if they put Kamala in there and Biden I don't understand.
his seat, they're going to use Newsom as the Trojan horse, because they need to have somebody
put back in there, correct?
I don't understand.
If Biden leaves and then Kamala is the candidate, then how do they use Newsom?
He'll be the Trojan horse.
I don't understand.
What, as vice president to Kamala?
Yes.
Oh, that's possible.
Although I think they do hate each other.
But yes, he definitely, definitely wants it.
On the topic of Kamala, everybody wants to talk about Kamala.
Sam in Orlando.
Thank you, Patricia.
Sir, thank you, sir.
And I know you had a beautiful scenery the whole time you were there.
It was pretty good.
Pretty good.
What's your question?
What's your comment?
Okay.
So let's remember at the beginning of all this, everybody laughed when Kamala said, my first duty will be to take our guns.
Everybody laughed because you're a VP.
You ain't got no executive orders.
She knew from the very beginning, she just didn't know when, if it'd be at the beginning or at the end, but she knows that she's going to get it.
We're watching a big movie screen, Sebastian.
I believe we are.
We're watching everything.
We're like cattle.
We're all, you, me, everybody.
We're all being let in.
Most cattle that are like you know a little bit more than these little ones like me, but I believe we're being led to follow.
And if Kamala gets in, even though it's only a few months, if she puts that executive order out... She can't delete the Second Amendment with an executive order, Sam.
For the Supreme Court to make a decision on what she did, No, the Supreme Court has already stated this year that it's an individual right.
She can't do that.
It's just absolutely impossible.
The Supreme Court has decided that the Second Amendment is sacrosanct and that it is an individual, not a collective right.
Oh, our next guest is listening to the show.
Rich Barris has chimed in.
Only Kamala can spend the money that has been raised by the Biden and Kamala campaigns.
See?
Wait long enough and we give you the answers.
Make sure you are subscribed to the podcast so you never miss the third hour today.
It is the Manhood Hour with a very special guest.
Plug in my name, Sebastian Gorka.
America First leaves a five-star review and support the president at DonaldJTrump.com.
We'll be back in a moment.
you Else but Kamala the reason she is because she's also in the
account She's on the ticket.
Right.
No, the account.
The account name.
Right.
Yeah.
Well, also, there was a caller who called in when Mark Davis was hosting and saying the theory is that, oh, they'll get rid of Biden, Kamala becomes president, and then she'll choose Barack Obama as her vice president, and then he'll be president again.
And I'm just like, I'm pretty sure the 22nd Amendment wouldn't allow that to happen.
Not allowed.
Why are people so obsessed with Obama and Michelle?
It's creepy.
I don't get it.
I don't know.
I don't get it.
I was pretty sure Roger Stone was single-handedly keeping the Michelle Obama thing alive.
He is non-stop.
It's gonna be Michelle!
It's gonna be Michelle!
I don't think Newsom is getting involved in this right now.
Nah.
He would be so smart just to wait till next time.
Yep.
He saw DeSantis make the same mistake.
He's like, no, I've got to be patient.
Just wait four years.
Getting these cruise photos.
You want to use them here or after?
Yeah, I'll use them here.
Alright.
Session 2 preview please.
I'm going to go get some more water.
Show me the photographs.
Okay.
Here's the first one.
Nice.
Nice.
Good.
That was every night with the boys.
That is so cool.
That was my cigars.
Yes.
Yes.
That was cigar night.
The listeners.
This chap.
This guy's t-shirt is so good.
I love that t-shirt.
You instantly recognize Stigall.
Stigall.
And boom.
Nice.
Love it.
Good stuff.
Alrighty.
Good stuff.
And he's connected.
Two minutes.
Where's his vest?
He's not allowed on television without a vest.
I know.
Oh, and I messed up.
You talking about Steven Seagal?
Was that Steven Seagal?
No, no, no.
Chris de Gaulle.
Chris de Gaulle, my host out of Philly.
I was gonna say I'm a little bit jealous if it's Steven Seagal.
What is this casual Tuesday without a vest?
What's going on?
I'll tell you what it is.
It's I'm pretty sure my house got struck by lightning Monday and I'm up there trying to get the Honeywell thing to come back on.
I can't find like a circuit didn't break.
The Honeywell air conditioning or what?
Yeah, but up upstairs is electric.
Downstairs is gas.
The gas is still working.
Upstairs is not.
Neither is the dryer or something.
And we got hit and I got a short somewhere.
I called a professional, but he can't be here till Thursday.
It's 100 degrees up there.
Out.
Out.
Yeah.
So I'm gonna keep trying.
That's the kind of guy I am.
You know what I mean?
That's the kind of guy I am.
Be careful up there.
Be careful.
Don't fall off the roof, dude.
Did you, did Laura tell you what happened to me last time or no?
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
What happened?
Okay.
Well, last time I went up there, I stepped backwards out of the attic and I fell down the stairs.
Like I had a black and blue on my leg.
No kidding.
As big as my, as big as my, like, entire quadriceps.
Good it wasn't your head.
Thank God.
All right, I'm gonna do PhD and then I'm gonna tee up 14
Oh, yeah, you just need a new discipline to call. Okay.
No violence No hate speech.
Just Happy Warriors on America First!
We had a dozen people, I think, at least, who were on the PhD program for the cruise.
And I've got to find that photograph.
We took a photograph, sent it to Dr. Ashley Lucas, and collectively, I don't know, one guy, one guy lost 120 pounds.
It was incredible.

before and after pictures. I haven't spoken enough about the cruise.
Somebody asked about the cigars.
Every night, with the little team, with our buddies, Dan Nelson, Alain Lambert, you can put that photograph up, with Michael and Joel from Inspiration Cruises, we were puffing away on the poop deck.
It was a little bit chilly because it was open air.
And then we were trying out my George Washington Liberty cigars, which are bloody good.
You can get yours at the Seb Gorka store.
And then we had the cigar event.
You had to pay extra to get cigars.
I selected and hang out with me and it was super, it was the most beautiful weather we had on the cruise.
And one guy, that's Gary, had an amazing shirt.
Eric, don't you think we have to make a shirt like that?
President Trump hugging a flag.
What do you think?
I love that.
And the cartoon caricature of it all, instead of being just a photo.
I love it.
I love that.
And I think we've got one more photograph of all our listeners having cigars with Chris Stegall and with me on the Euro Dam.
It was quite, quite the experience.
All right, more to You follow, but let's get back to the question of the day.
Will Biden make it till the end of the week?
He listens to the show.
He texts me when we've got listener questions.
He's the people's pundit from big data polls.
Rich Barris, welcome back to America First.
Hey, thanks for having me, and welcome back to the show, period.
I hope you had a good time.
I did, I did.
I need a vacation to recover from that vacation, but that's enough about me.
Let's talk about what your expectations are, what the trend lines are for other candidates.
But first, this question that you so very graciously assisted with.
They've raised hundreds of thousands of millions for the Biden-Kamala campaign.
What happens if Biden drops out to that money, Rich?
Kamala's the only one who can use that money.
There could be, you know, you could transfer it to something later, but as a candidate, as a presidential candidate, you bring Gretchen Whitmer in, you bring Gavin Newsom in, they got to start from scratch.
That's why I understand there's a lot of these takes, Dr. Gorka, I do, but the facts are the state laws
for getting on a ballot make it very difficult for them to replace him.
They're even having trouble with Ohio themselves, Biden and Kamala Harris.
So New York changed their laws.
It is very convoluted.
It is a Herculean task.
And then even if they got around that, the money is not there for anyone but her.
That's the law.
They can't use it.
So think about trying to raise money in less than four months to bring somebody else across.
Like, you know, we hear all this stuff, Michelle Obama, etc, etc.
It's just not feasible.
Let's walk through the scenario.
So he's not going anywhere.
Unless he decides to, okay?
So that's number one.
It has to be, you know, unless they do the 25th amendment, which would be a wicked burn for the Democrats, because they'd have to have two-thirds of the cabinet, they'd have to have the vice president, and then they'd have to have Congress, you know, burn their own candidates.
So if he steps down, and that only happens if I think Jill Biden agrees, and if the big donors say, you're not getting any money from us, then automatically It's Kamala who's the president and then she would run unless and this is where I you know I defer to you could they do something at the convention with just weeks to go like they did to Bernie with Hillary superdelegates or is Kamala the candidate?
I think it would really have to be Kamala because they would not be able to raise any kind of money to challenge President Trump.
This isn't a regular Republican candidate.
He has more cash on hand than them.
They already spent a ton, millions upon millions upon millions in the battleground states trying to tell the battleground state voters, this is a felon.
You can't vote for a felon.
You can't vote for a felon, like on and on the last three months.
So their cash on hand is actually less than President Trump's right now.
I mean, you know, good luck, you know?
And then think about this.
They're gonna, what, bribe state officials to get them to ignore state law?
They're gonna bribe superdelegates to get them to betray Joe Biden and to get them to upend the entire process?
All for what?
For Kamala Harris, who's less popular than Joe Biden?
You know, I mean, listen.
She would even be running against Donald Trump, and they're not that stupid.
They know this.
I understand they're in a panic, but I think some people like David Axelrod are eventually going to settle down, and they're going to realize that there really is no good decision here.
And by the way, Joe Biden, I'm telling you that letter that you saw go out to the senators today, that's Joe Biden.
That is not Joe.
Joe Biden wrote that up.
The letter we read out at the top of the show an hour ago, where he says, I want you to know that despite all the speculation, I am staying in this race.
I'm running the race to the end.
Yeah, that's Joe Biden.
We talked to Rich Barris.
You've got to go to peoplespundit.locals.com and Big Data.
What is the Big Data website, Rich?
Bigdatapoll.com.
Bigdatapoll.com.
Let's put that up there.
Bigdatapoll.com.
Rich, Kamala Would she be even worse than having Joe stay?
So I would tell people this.
Think about it's either, and we all know the nickname for Kamala Harris, which President Trump is going to drum up.
That was a shot across the bow on his Truth Social post.
So I would ask people to seriously consider this.
Northampton, Pennsylvania and Erie County, Pennsylvania, the two battleground counties that are really the most swingy counties in Pennsylvania.
Who's going to do better in those counties?
The woman, you know, is going to be smeared through the... well, I mean, not even smeared, it's true.
The woman you're going to hear about, a coastal elite who used Willie Brown to raise herself through the ranks, or Scranton Joe Biden, who may have, like, dementia, but at least he's still Scranton Joe Biden.
And what about the black men she imprisoned for, you know, weed use in California?
Isn't the black vote going to say thanks but no thanks?
Joe Biden does markedly better with black voters than she does.
I mean, there's no connection there.
There's no connection to the black community, and they're in the middle of a realignment right now to take that kind of a risk.
We just spoke, and I know I didn't get a chance to send it to you, but we just spoke to over 600 black voters nationally.
It was from You know, remarkably, you know, consistent.
And Donald Trump is right around 20-25% of the black vote.
You pull something like this, think about this.
Tens of millions of black voters did vote for Joe Biden already.
You know, I mean, this is like, you're just, or tens of millions of Democratic voters, many of whom are black, and especially in the southern primary states.
You're just going to completely... You're going to tell them their votes don't matter?
You're going to disenfranchise them like that?
They're already in the middle of that realignment.
I think that is the dumbest thing you could possibly do.
There's one scenario where they can concede.
Hold the thought.
We will talk about that one scenario momentarily.

I'm sorry.
And I'm a Christian, so I believe in the power of words, and I don't like to say these kind of things, but if he kicks the bucket, then it gives them more wiggle room.
But in what way?
I mean, then it's got to be Kamala.
Yeah, but it still has to be Kamala.
That's the thing.
It still has to be Kamala.
It gives them a little breathing room and allows them to answer some really difficult questions, but at that point you're looking at a no other choice scenario, right?
Right.
This one is a choice and they're choosing to like upend everything for her and they're choosing to disenfranchise.
So Rich, is it just ignorance?
That people are saying, oh, it's going to be Newsom, it's going to be Buttigieg, it's going to be Michelle.
They just don't realize the intricacies?
They don't know the laws.
I mean, I was on a podcast with somebody late last week, and I was with Amwith, and you probably know this, Sean Parnell, he's run for office before, and we were seriously trying to explain to people The money, first and foremost, but then also how little time you have to get on a ballot in these states.
And just because you're the organization, the entity, the Democratic Party, doesn't mean you don't have to follow the rules.
Biden is already in trouble in the state of Ohio because of the way they moved the convention and the law in Ohio changed.
So could you imagine if they did this?
They would not appear on the ballot in Ohio at this point.
You know, the Secretary of State is trying to give Biden the benefit of the doubt and get him on.
If they were to do this, he would not appear on at least one major battleground state ballot.
New York just changed their law.
That's what's making it so difficult for Kennedy to get on the ballot in the state of New York.
They yank him now.
I mean, it's an absolute nightmare.
An absolute nightmare.
And I think, yeah, I think a big part of it is fear, too.
A lot of these guys, these pundits out there, Dr. Gorka, they're afraid of Michelle Obama, let's get real.
They're afraid of her.
So this is like a part of their obsession with her.
You know, it's going to be Michelle Obama.
Michelle Obama is one of the laziest women in America.
That's what I always say.
She's never had a real job in her life.
Why would she want one now?
Exactly!
No chance it's gonna be Michelle Obama.
And Gavin's too smart for this.
Yes.
Why would you run against Donald Trump when you can wait for a pretender four years from now?
Right.
You know?
And come on.
He's a young man.
He's not gonna commit suicide now.
No way.
What about Hillary?
She wants it.
And now, I mean, Hillary just runs into all of the, you know, like logistical problems and illegal problems, but man, Hillary would jump on it.
Let's be real.
We all know that.
Oh, yes.
She wants it bad.
She would jump on it hard.
She has nothing to lose and doesn't have another four years to spare.
So she would do it.
You know, I mean, that's, that's it.
How old is Hillary?
Let's have a look.
Oh yeah, good question.
How old is Hillary?
Let's have a look.
76!
Wow, she'd be 80.
She'd be 80.
She has nothing to lose.
She'd do it.
Wow, really?
Is she that old?
You know what that means?
I'm getting old.
How old are you?
You're in your 40s.
What are you?
I'm gonna be 44.

from Rich Barris.
Let's play a little cut from all the stuff I missed while I was away.
Well, I didn't miss it.
I was on social media every night after our events.
This is the interview that was supposed to save Joe Biden.
Cut 16.
What's your plan to turn the campaign around?
You saw it today.
How many people did you get to draw crowds like I did today?
If I'm any more enthusiastic than today?
Huh?
I mean, I don't think you want to play the crowd game.
Donald Trump can draw big crowds.
There's no question about that.
He can draw a big crowd, but what's he say?
Who's he have?
Who does he have?
What are you talking about?
He's got a hundred thousand people in New Jersey.
Who does he have?
Okay, Rich, my buddy Dan Bongino says all campaigning is about soundbites.
What does he say, Jeff?
What's the phrase?
Soundbites and snapshots.
Soundbites and snapshots.
Now for me, yeah, of course I'm a Trumpster.
The one soundbite from the debate was when he said, When President Trump said, I don't know what he just said and I don't think he knows what he said.
How important are the debates in and of themselves?
Do you see them like impact trend lines in a lasting fashion before an election?
I haven't been able to send you the new polling that we're doing.
It's going to be packaged up and sent out real soon.
Typically, there's two debates where people argue that they have lasting power.
And that, of course, is the Nixon-Kennedy debate.
If you watched on TV, you saw Kennedy won.
If you heard it on the radio, you saw Nixon won.
And then Reagan, are you better off than you were four years ago?
That was the one and only debate with him and Carter anyway, to debate the Libertarian.
But that is largely believed to have had an impact, even though I would argue that there was groundswell, you could see it before.
This is different.
I'm going to argue this is different, and I'm someone who argues debates don't have an enormous amount of power.
And the reason is, you have to meet a certain bar, and we even have a name for it.
It's called the presidential bar.
It's not that hard.
And during a debate, a nominee will try to at least show the American public they've met that bar, they've met that standard, and you can trust them.
with the presidency. This was an emperor has no clothes moment times nothing we've ever seen
before so I can't put a number on it right so it was that bad and there were even democrats.
So it's like the shock effect that he can't even reach that minimum.
Can't trust him to have the football.
You can't trust him with the coach.
You can't trust him to get the 3 a.m.
phone call.
Who's running the country?
That's the theme in this poll, Dr. Gorka.
Who is running the country?
because there are people in the middle who are just really busy,
and yeah, they saw the Republican memes, but understand, the New York Times, NBC News, the AP,
just 24, 48 hours before the debate, were telling the American public,
these are memes, they're cheap fakes, they're deep fakes, there's nothing wrong with them, he's sharp-witted.
Morning Joe is on his morning program saying this is the sharpest I've ever seen Joe Biden.
So, you know, among those middle...
Oh, we lost your sound there for a second.
We lost your sound there for a second.
I know you're battling with weather conditions where you are.
Yeah, I am.
Oh, you're back, you're back.
Finish that sentence again, that last sentence.
Yeah, so you have, you know, people in the middle after the AP and the NBC News and New York Times were telling them these are cheap fakes and Republican memes.
Now, I mean, just 48 hours before, realizing they were lied to.
And even Democrats realizing they were lied to.
Because Democrats defer to these people.
You know, Democratic voters.
The New York Times wouldn't lie to me.
The Associated Press wouldn't lie to me.
And guess what?
They lied!
And that's the problem with this debate.
And it leaves the voters wondering who is running the country.
And that is the, I mean, this poll is ugly.
It's ugly for Joe Biden.
It's going to be the ugliest result we've ever published.
As soon as you package it and send it out, will you send me the tweet so I can send it to all of my followers?
Absolutely.

Now, before we get to our guests, I want you, the viewers at home, to know something.
Our team has spent days reaching out to dozens of lawmakers and Biden advocates and allies.
We've had numerous interactions with the Biden-Harris campaign, but not a single potential guest was either able or willing to join us on today's show to defend the president and his decision to stay on the ticket.
So, we will be having a conversation without that voice, which we have been working around the clock to avoid.
That's so weird.
Why do Democrats not want to defend Joe Biden?
Is it because I have a list here of the dozens of Democrats who want him to step down that those tweeted out earlier today?
I wonder why?
I thought they told us everything was fine.
No mental problems.
Winning, winning, winning.
Hmm.
Let's talk about winning, winning, winning.
We don't take anything for granted, as Special Forces guy said.
I used this on the cruise last week and the listeners love it.
When it comes to campaigning in November the 5th, you behave like the third monkey trying to get on Noah's Ark.
You fight, fight, fight.
We need her more than ever.
Let's talk to the one and only Carrie Lake.
Oh my gosh, I'm just visualizing that.
Sometimes I feel like that.
We have to fight even though we're way up.
You know, we've got the primary ballots are in the mailboxes right now.
People are voting even though we're way up by, you know, 30 plus points.
We have to vote.
We have to vote like our lives depend on it.
President Trump has endorsed me and we need to get President Trump in November.
Carrie Lake in the U.S.
Senate, a bunch of America First Patriots in Washington D.C.
to right the ship and get us back on track.
And we can do it, Seb.
You know how fast it's going to happen this time because this time President Trump is going to assemble a great team of people in D.C.
and won't have to worry about being constantly stabbed in the back.
Well, as you said, the ballots have already been printed for the Arizona primary on July 30th for the Senate seat.
You are way out ahead, but we're going to behave as if you're not, so we don't demobilize anybody.
Everybody runs like that third monkey onto Noah's Ark.
You've launched a bus tour across the state, so tell us, especially after the debate, tell us what you're hearing from your fellow Arizonans.
What are they talking to you about?
Well, we've always had a great connection with the people of Arizona, and I attribute a lot of that to my career as a broadcast journalist, a fair and honest one.
So I know the people very well.
We ran a great campaign in the governor's race, and now we've just watched this movement grow.
Because even if you look back at what we had in 22, which was a massive movement, since then we've had a couple more years of disastrous Democrat policies that are setting people back further and further and further.
And they're struggling right now.
And they know right now the only way to change course is to get America First policies.
So we're watching people come over.
I had a Democrat woman who was wonderful.
She went to one of our events.
She said she was on the fence.
She didn't know what to do.
And after hearing me speak about what we want to do for our state and our country, she realized that America First meant it's open to disaffected Democrats as well.
And that's really the message I'm trying to get out.
These aren't just Republican policies.
These are American policies to put our country first.
So if you want a secure border, if you want fully funded police departments, So your streets are safe, if you want a great world-class education for our kiddos, if you want to make sure that people aren't pouring into our country illegally, you want a prosperous, strong economy so that everyone does better and everyone has a little extra spending money.
Then you're probably most likely America first.
You just don't realize it.
And so we're welcoming people into the movement.
It's very exciting, and people are really talking about how bad it's gotten with the Democrats and Joe Biden, and how they're realizing now not only has the media been lying, but a lot of these talking heads in Washington, D.C.
have been lying about the state of affairs, the health of Joe Biden, even though, Seb, we've seen it for years.
Yeah.
The website is CarrieLake.com.
The Twitter is at CarrieLake with a K. You're talking about the Democrats.
Let me quote, let me play a clip from the man who helped bring Obama to the White House, David Axelrod, who, well, I think he's worried.
Cut eight!
There are certain immutable facts of life and those were painfully obvious on that debate stage and the president just doesn't seem to come to.
He hasn't come to grips with it.
He's not winning this race.
He's more likely if you just look at the data and talk to people around the country.
Uh, political people around the country.
It's more likely that he'll lose by a landslide than win narrowly this race.
He's trying to be diplomatic, but he's saying Biden is too old, he doesn't have the mental skills, and he's going to lose.
That's a Democrat who wants to win, but you're reaching out to Democrats who have had enough.
I'm so curious.
What is the message, what is the talking point for those who are undecided, in the middle, or who just are waking up and have red-pilled themselves and who are former Democrats?
What do you say to them when you're traveling across the state of Arizona?
I don't have to say a whole lot because they're struggling just as much as everyone else.
You know, just because they may have voted for Joe Biden doesn't mean they got a discount card when it comes to buying groceries and gas and paying their electric bill to keep their house cooled in the hot Arizona summer.
They're struggling when it comes to insurance prices and the price of food going up.
And so they're just all of a sudden taking another look at the America First party and
saying, whoa, actually our lives were better back then.
We're also watching here in Arizona, as Arizona has become the fentanyl freeway, pipeline
for this deadly weapon of mass destruction that's killing a generation of people.
They're watching as our streets aren't as safe.
They're watching as stores are being boarded up and closing because people can't afford
to stay in business anymore.
So, it's pretty easy when you start throwing ideas out where we can actually turn this around by funding the wall, stopping the invasion at the border.
You know, that invasion at the border said affects our economy as well.
12 million people pouring in.
They've got to live somewhere.
They're competing with us for housing.
And that's why our rent prices are going up.
Also watching the mortgage rates go up.
It's making it harder for Americans to live that American dream.
So it's pretty easy.
But I want to say something about what David Axelrod said.
Isn't it?
It just seems a little too convenient for me that all of a sudden, as if on lockstep,
all of the Democrats, all of the media, all of the talking heads out there in Washington
are all of a sudden now turning on Biden and saying we need to replace him.
It seems a little too convenient for me.
My BS detector is going off.
I don't know about yours.

What is that I'm reading Eric?
Is that Mind S-E-1 or is that Mindset?
Oh yeah, the Twitter handle is MindsetWithA1.
Okay, then it's missing a T, guys.
That's at SurvivalMindset1 is the Twitter handle.
Okay, so Peter, for those who haven't heard you on with our buddy Jim, tell us a little bit about who you are, what you've done in life, and how you got to write a book about Survival Mindset.
Okay.
I was raised in Southeast Asia.
My family's Australian.
My dad was an engineer, an Australian expat.
He built power plants.
I grew up in Sumatra, Bangladesh, and Thailand.
I was about 19 when I ended up back in Aussie, which is supposed to be my home.
And of course, as you can hear, I fit in there like a square peg in a round hole.
So after trying to find myself there for a while and trying to convince people that I am who I am, Well, they're all telling me I'm something that I'm not.
So I ended up in the States.
Same problem, because I look and I sound like an American, but I'm not.
So I was kind of a lost soul and I joined the army for the college money.
That's when I found out that's where I belong.
And so I ended up doing five years in the 82nd Airborne Division in the infantry, and that didn't suck enough, so I went down the street and did 20 years in Special Forces.
I tell my son-in-law, who's in the Army now, he's not in the same part of the Army that I was in.
I was in the part of the Army where they put all the crazy people, and that is true.
While I was in Special Forces, I was privileged to serve as an instructor at the SEER school, Survival, Escape, Resistance, Evasion, which is a very complex survival school which includes the military aspects of evading capture.
And then once you're captured resistance to interrogation resistance to exploitation And that's the part where they put you in a little communist country, and it's a very unpleasant experience and of course escape Post-military of course you know I served elsewhere in in special forces all around the globe Post-military I I ended up doing some interesting things.
And at one point, I was working for USAID, the Agency for International Development.
And they've got a little course to train their people who are at high risk of, you know, misadventure, how to survive, how to manage a situation.
And I fit in there just like a glove.
And one of the things, one of the first things we taught was survival mindset, because these people are not military people.
And, you know, it was pointed out that you can be doing everything right, you can have everything stacked in your favor, or you can have, you know, the challenges that you find in an isolating event.
But if your heart and soul is not in it, people do give up and they perish, when they could have simply walked out of the situation they were in.
Whereas people have been in circumstances where everything is against them.
The world record holder, I believe, is a Chinese gentleman who was on a ship that got torpedoed during World War II, and he was adrift on a raft in the Atlantic for 444 days.
He had zero training, he had zero resources, and he survived.
And he survived simply because he was dedicated.
He had the mindset.
And so, our challenge was how to instill this In your average person, they would ask, how do we get this mindset?
And I would suggest, well, the first aspect would be to know yourself and to seek self-improvement.
Seek challenges, physical challenges.
Go to the gym, etc.
Enroll in some sort of challenging physical course of training that's going to take you to the edge so
you know where that edge is and that's about how we started with that. And when
you think about mindset in the moment if you've you know pushed yourself
you've trained yourself you know beforehand once you're in that situation whether
you're a diplomat who's been taken hostage or whether you're you know at lost
at sea what is the first rule in that situation?
Is there something one needs to focus on first once things have gone south, Peter?
Certainly.
You must size up the situation and be aware that undue haste makes waste.
Realize where you are, who you are, what your situation is, what your limitations are, and at that point start taking inventory of your resources and your options.
And number one is going to be, let's see, you've got shelter, water, and food.
You need those to survive.
And of the three of those, you can live three weeks without food.
Mind you, by the end of that, you'll be eating your fill.
But you can make it three weeks without food.
You can go, on average, three days without water.
But three hours, the environment can take you down due to cold, etc.
And so, therefore, your priority is, first of all, shelter.
And that might be an overhead tarp to get you out of the sun.
It might be excuse me, a coat to keep the cold off of you or a sleeping
bag, etc.
So shelter is number one. Number two is water.
You have to have water or the means to acquire it, to filter it, to purify it and to transport it.
And food, the means to acquire it, prepare it, preserve it.
And so that would be the start point.
And whether it's professionals, the military are going through, for example, the SEER training that you conducted, or whether it's, you know, amateurs, for example, that you were training at USAID.
Did you identify a common mistake?
Is there something that a lot of people get wrong once they're in that survival environment?
Well, I would say as far as training goes, people do learn from their mistakes.
That's actually the most effective means of learning.
For example, you will only touch the hot stove once.
After that, you know.
And that's a very effective learning method that happens in SEER.
We front-end load them, we give them classes.
We give them a practical application.
We take them out and show them this, that, and the other thing.
Then they get out there in the woods on the training exercise, and that's really where they learn from their mistakes.
And I don't know if I've lost my train of thought.
No, the most common mistake that you witnessed in training people.
Um, most common mistake.
People try to take the easy route.
Well, this is an evasion.
They want to walk on roads.
They want to walk through open areas.
They'll go to water.
And we would find them.
We'd be waiting for them.
But of course, that doesn't necessarily apply in a survival situation to the average person.
I would say lack of planning in advance.
And I'll give you an example.
There was a couple.
This was around 2015.
They're from around near where I live in Pennsylvania.
Let's hold the story.
Let's keep the people in suspense what happened in a real life situation.

He is the author of several works we're discussing right now.
Survival Mindset, a guide to what to do when things go wrong.
Peter, you were about to tell us a story about a couple in Pennsylvania who had a challenge.
Right, so it was around Christmastime 2015, and they were in Las Vegas with their 12-year-old son, and they decided it would be a good idea to all pile in their rent-a-car and drive down to see the Grand Canyon.
Well, the roads out west are not like the roads here in the east.
They found that out the hard way.
About halfway there, the road was essentially a logging trail, and they'd realized they'd bitten off more than they could chew.
So they tried to do a turn, like a three-point turn.
One of the wheels went off the shoulder of the road, and then they were stuck out there.
No communications.
They had not told anybody where they had been.
And naturally, they had not consulted a map.
They were just going off the little GPS that used to come in rental cars back then, the TomTom.
Okay.
Problem.
No comms.
Middle of nowhere.
Nobody knows they're there.
Nobody knows when they're coming back.
And if they'd simply consulted somebody before they went, like the hotel staff, they would have been told, don't try it.
Not this time of the year.
So the decision was made that the wife was going to march out of there.
She's a triathlete and her husband had a back injury besides.
So she starts walking.
It's about four in the afternoon.
Bad plan.
The sun's going down.
Would have been better all stick together and strike out in the morning during daylight when you've got a whole day in front of you.
About 30 minutes after she left, the husband thinks, why don't I just, you know, move to a little bit of higher ground, see if I can get some more bars on my cell phone.
Boom.
He made contact with law enforcement.
He and his son were out of there in an hour and a half.
It took them 36 hours to find the wife, and she was near death, near frozen to death when they found her.
She was hallucinating, dehydrated.
And so the lesson is a little bit of front-end planning.
Tell people where you're going.
Ask the locals for advice.
Consult a map.
Simple stuff like that.
Communications.
And then any survival gear might have helped, like a blanket.
Food, water, they had nothing.
And so that's the answer to your question.
What's a common mistake?
Common mistake is just simple lack of emergency planning, planning in advance.
Simple planning.
Yeah, we had a phrase in the British Army, planning prevents, rude word, poor performance.
So, yeah, a little bit of planning goes a long, long way.
Beyond planning, when it comes to kit, when it comes to equipment, you can't be an expert or survive anything just by buying stuff.
But is there anything that you think is like an obvious piece of equipment that could make a big difference for me?
It was recently I was stuck in Nashville trying to get back to the studio and I didn't realize that the AT&T grid had gone down.
I thought there was just something wrong with my cell phone and I felt like an idiot because I'd just been given a satellite phone by one of our sponsors and it was sitting at home and this is a phone that works anywhere on the planet.
Is there anything like a satellite phone that you're a big fan of, Peter?
Yes, nowadays, they've got personal locator beacons, which have two-way text capability via your phone.
And they're quite affordable.
Such a thing used to be thousands of dollars subscription a year.
Nowadays, I've got an item I paid about a little less than... Peter?
Hello?
Got a two-way text capability.
We lost you there.
You paid how much?
Paid about $200 for it.
And there's a, I believe it's about a $40 subscription per year.
And it provides digital two-way text capability.
And that's a lifesaver.
Plus, it's a personal locator beacon.
If necessary, they can coordinate a rescue capability to go in and pick me up.
So this is like just a pager of old that will work and will allow you to text if you have a need of assistance?
Think of a pager that works through satellite that's connected to an international network of, you know, first responders to include maritime capabilities.
So that's something that anyone can have on them wherever they are?
Yes, they sell them through Amazon.
They sell them at REI.
You can go online, look for personal locator beacon and look it up.
It's a good cheap insurance policy, particularly if you're getting up there in age.
I'm not exactly a spring chicken and I've already had my first heart attack and I don't want number two to happen when I can't get out of there.
I'm an old boy scout.
If I'm not traveling on a plane, I always have a short folding knife on me.
Anything else you'd add to your beacon, Peter?
Well, I go by categories.
And the categories of a survival kit, the items that should go in there, Quite to the categories that I cover in the chapters of my book.
And you should have three survival kits.
One is your vehicle and everything that's in it.
And I like diesel truck.
I'm partial to that.
The next one is the kit that goes on your body, on around your body and your rucksack.
And then the third would be like a pocket items.
The categories are shelter.
And that would include things like poncho, sleeping bag, the vehicle itself.
A raincoat, something to keep you warm, a hat to keep the sun off the top of your head, things like chapstick, etc.
The next thing would be water, food, and I covered, you know, how to filter and purify your water and transport it, how to prepare your food and transport it or acquire it.
After that, fire.
Fire is used as a form of shelter and as far as preparing food and water but also signaling.
Next category is signaling.
Signaling includes electronic And non-electronic.
Think non-electronic things like signal mirrors, whistles, flares, signal panels to make ground-to-air signals with.
After that, weapon or tool.
And when I say weapon, I mean something that's capable of dispatching small game.
A small lock blade, a small sheath knife, tool.
I carry a very small shovel with me.
It's useful for all kinds of things.
Constructing shelters, building in-ground Cooking capabilities.
The classic entrenching tool as was.

We're back with Peter Crittenden, author of the book, The Survival Mindset.
Peter, I remember the good old days, or the bad old days, When thinking about these things got you labeled very quickly a prepper or a survivalist, and that was a dirty word.
It seems with the mainstreaming of TV shows on the subject that we've come a long way.
Is survivalist or prepper still a pejorative word in our society, Peter?
Well, I don't consider myself a survivalist or a prepper.
On the grounds that there could be an incident at any time that causes a breakdown of major infrastructure.
Our infrastructure is incredibly fragile and prone to attack.
If that does happen, yeah, I could have a garage full of canned food.
But sooner or later, I've got to sleep.
Survival and security is a team sport, and things would become futile very quickly.
And that's why I suggest, yeah, learn primitive skills, learn basic skills, have a supply of food and water on hand.
But the thought that you can be able to last for any period of time, the mob will come sooner or later.
And you really need to band together as neighborhoods, towns, associations, that sort of thing.
Can you just talk for a minute or two on just how fragile our society is and how most people, you know, 90% plus, take things for granted, whether it's shelter, warmth, electricity, communications, energy.
We really are, I mean, if things collapsed, Your neighbor could potentially turn into an animal within a matter of days because of lack of food and everything else.
So give us your take on just how fragile civilization is right now.
Well, I've seen it.
Now, in our lifetime, we've seen electrical failure, blackouts over large urban areas like New York, and just madness ensued in a very short period of time.
We saw the kind of madness that consumed L.A.
in the Rodney King riots, where they had to bring in the military.
Likewise, post-Katrina, down in New Orleans.
Well, I was down in Fort Myers, Florida after the hurricane there in 2022, and I spent three months down there.
And there were times I couldn't believe I was still in the United States.
The devastation itself was remarkable.
In some places, it looked like the atom bomb had hit the place.
But the way The outlaw conduct of people, the feral conduct of people that just happened immediately.
And there were days when it was like the OK Corral.
I kid you not.
And I mean, I couldn't believe I was still in the United States of America.
And it wasn't even as severe and bad as what we saw in the media regarding Katrina, but it was bad enough.
And you're talking about people who will just do anything and treat their fellow man as an animal just because they want what they have?
People were preying upon people.
When we got down there, there was no electricity for the first month that I was there in the part of town we were staying.
We were staying in an Airbnb with no electricity.
We had water, but we couldn't drink the water.
You'd take a shower and you'd smell the sewage and the water.
People were coming around and trying to shake down people in the neighborhood for money.
And people were just outright stealing other people's vehicles.
They were showing up in flatbed trucks coming from out of the area and just winching vehicles up on the truck and driving off.
That was largely what I saw.
We're talking to Peter Criddon, author of The Survival Mindset.

It's Next Gen Marxism, What It Is and How to Combat It.
We're back with the author of the Survival Mindset book, Peter Crittenden.
Peter, you said that this is about mindset and preparation.
Before we talk about your novel, and also I want to ask you about what curricula we should be instilling into the young boys and men across America when it comes to these issues.
I remember the book The Survivor of the Holocaust, Man's Search for Freedom, that book talked about, from the point of view of somebody inside the death camp, that when—this is the Viktor Frankl book—people could survive practically anything.
If they had a belief that they would be saved or they would save themselves or there was an end to it but there were people in the camp who were ostensibly healthy or functioning and then for some reason they lost hope And they literally died within a matter of days.
How critical, beyond preparation and training, is this idea of the indomitable attitude that will see you through?
Because if you give up mentally, you're going to give up physically, correct?
Yes, quite.
It is the single most important aspect of surviving extreme circumstances, and yet it's the single one that I can't teach you.
I can teach you how to light a fire in the rainforest in a rainstorm.
I can teach you how to find water in the desert, but I cannot teach survival mindset.
That has to come from within.
Yeah, yeah.
All right, let's talk about what it is that, if we're talking about young boys, young men, we see the workification of our civilization, we see the rise of the, you know, the soy latte drinking young man.
If we had to start a curriculum anew on what it is a 10-year-old, a 12-year-old boy should have instilled in them that will make them more resilient as a man, where would one begin?
Well, I'd say that young men seek a quest, an adventure, a purpose, a sense of purpose.
And so they should look towards that and that should be encouraged.
Patriotism should be taught.
Patriotism is a virtue, but it doesn't come from within.
It must be taught.
And we've been neglecting that.
We've been teaching the opposite in our educational system.
Young boys should be taught that they are young men and that they should be gentlemen.
and that chivalry exists, the golden rule is very important.
And then they should look to the examples of history to see what they could strive towards.
People like Daniel Boone, I suppose.
People like Sir Francis Drake.
People that went out there to carve civilization out of the wasteland to save people.
People like Dr. Livingston, for example, or Dr. Schweitzer.
There's all kinds of examples of heroes out there.
History is replete with them.
And seek them and then find out what is heroic what it really is and what are the things that create greatness and create character.
And as far as building character, given my background, I can say what we knew in the infantry and in special forces is rock marching.
You put that weight on your back and you are committed to go a certain distance in a certain time.
And that builds character to the point where after a while, you know, I remember one day we were hiking along, marching along at a fairly good clip with about, well, about 50 pound rucksacks on our backs, plus our equipment and our weapons.
And one of the guys was saying, if this builds character, how much more character do I need?
Nowadays, it's an activity.
I'm sorry?
No, go ahead.
It's an activity.
Keep saying.
Nowadays, yes, there are actually clubs and different resources where people do the go-ruck thing, that sort of thing, and I would recommend that because you can throw a rucksack on your back and march down the street, and it's too easy to say, okay, I'll just do one mile today.
Yeah.
It's not the way to do it.
My son and his fiancée borrowed my plate carriers recently, not because they were going into a war zone, but just because they wanted to do a run wearing a very heavy plate carrier.
So yes, it has become a bit of a training aid of late.
You've also written fiction.
You've written the book Drowning Creek, which you said to me in the break is about Helping those who don't understand what the ethos is of our
special forces What what is the purpose of the book or what is the
misconception you are trying to address?
Well, it's an action-adventure novel because ever since I was young I wanted to write action-adventure novels like,
you know Alistair Maclean used to and
And so I started with what I know, which is Special Forces.
And as I started to write it, it occurred to me, I've got a lot of my personal experiences in there, but also the outside world doesn't understand what Special Forces is about.
They mistake us, the Green Berets, for some sort of land-based Navy SEAL organization.
Or a direct action command organization.
We're not that.
We're much more.
We're the thinking side of the equation.
We're concerned with guerrilla warfare.
We're concerned with counter-revolutionary warfare.
Counter-terrorism, of course.
Your average Green Beret speaks at least two languages.
And we study areas that we operate in, you know, on a collegiate level.
And having said that, so I wanted to get across this ethos in the course of my story.
I based it around an episode that happened to me in 2010, I believe it was.
I was working in Chicago, this is post-retirement, and I was commuting long distance back to The Fort Bragg area and I would park my car in long term parking at Raleigh Durham Airport and then drive down towards Southern Pines where I lived and halfway down Highway one
Was a no-name gas station.

Magnificent.
All right, we were halfway through the story that inspired his novel, Drowning Creek.
You were approaching a Mayberry-type gas station.
What happened to you, Peter Crittenden?
Well, I went in there and the guy behind the counter, there was several individuals behind the counter.
They were all of the Middle Eastern extraction.
And I'm one of those, you know, language speaking kind of guys.
I wanted to, you know, practice my Arabic there.
But something in the back of my head was saying, do not engage with these people.
You know the hairs were going up on the back of my neck my spidey sense was tingling and These guys look like they just got off the boat literally And I don't mean that a derogatory way.
I just mean that from having bridge across a lot of stinking deserts all over the world and I It was a week later, I was sitting in front of TV and right there in the morning news, boom, there's those five individuals plus a Caucasian gentleman, a white guy, and they'd just been busted attempting to get into Camp Lejeune with a carload full of explosives.
They were Al-Qaeda.
The white guy, it's on the internet, you can look it up, the white guy, he was a North Carolinian who'd gone over to Afghanistan at the end of the Soviet experience, and had worked with the Mujahideen, converted to Islam, and then he stayed.
And then he brought them over here, this was his private Al-Qaeda army.
I was a hand's, arm's reach away from Al-Qaeda, looking them eyeball to eyeball.
Here in the United States, right in the middle of North Carolina.
So would you say that's another piece of advice to trust your spidey sense?
Oh, absolutely.
