	This guy is no Trump loyalist.
	He is, as far as I'm concerned, a bureaucrat's bureaucrat.
	This report, 388 pages, said, yeah, he committed felonies, he mishandled illegal documents, he wasn't the president, couldn't declassify them, he had stuff from when he was a senator, no skiff, cardboard boxes, oh, but we're not going to prosecute him because he's a senile old guy.
	Is this the Democrats finding a way to get rid of this liability?
	What's your take on Special Counsel Hur and the whole report?
	As a member of the Judiciary Committee.
	Yeah, yeah.
	A very long report, well over 300 pages.
	Listen, the hearing this morning, I think we laid it out there, Chairman Jordan and several others that spoke.
	We know that Joe Biden has admitted he knew he had classified documents in several areas, whether it was at his home, his garage, another place, his workplace.
	So we've identified that, right?
	And I believe that Mr. Herr also identified that he admitted that, that Biden admitted that he's got probably these documents.
	But what her was talking about more was about when he was interviewing Joe Biden is his mental state, the mens rea of the crime.
	Is he culpable?
	Was he culpable at the time?
	Did he knowingly or purposely, willingly hold these documents?
	Now, many will say, yes, he did.
	He did.
	But according to her, he felt it was not enough For him to go beyond a reasonable doubt.
	That he felt that they had a crime, but he didn't know if he would be able to convince a jury that he was mentally, I guess, coherent or capable or competent to be able to get beyond a reasonable doubt.
	It's just his opinion.
	It was just his opinion.
	And I understand that, but there's a problem with that take from him.
	As a guy who still has a top-secret clearance, I am fully aware that it is one of the very unusual statutes in U.S.
	law that mishandling of classified information is a felony irrespective of intent.
	Whether you're selling it to the North Koreans or leaving it on a subway car, it's the same quality of felony in the mishandling.
	So the mens rea of whether he's left it in a cardboard box...
	It doesn't matter, it's still a crime.
	So what do you think the intent is here?
	Is the intent to whitewash?
	Or is the intent to say, yeah, he's a bad guy, but he's senile, so we need Gavin Newsom or somebody else in November.
	I mean, you're a seasoned politician.
	What do you think the strategy is on the other side?
	Well, it would be very, very difficult for the American people to truly try to understand that you can clear Joe Biden for this.
	He admits he has documents at his house.
	He was writing with his ghostwriter.
	I mean, we all know it.
	We all knew that he had documents at his house by his Corvette, his car garage.
	So how do you go after Donald Trump?
	Now Donald Trump in the history has been the only president or vice president that has ever been charged for something like this.
	Another first for this corrupt DOJ and this administration.
	And really what this truly is is election interference.
	So I think if you clear Joe Biden of this, you're going to have to clear Donald Trump of this.
	They're the same, in my opinion.
	But even different, more, Donald Trump did it while he was the president.
	He felt that he could declassify these.
	And he had declassification authority.
	And yes, right.
	And Joe Biden didn't have that as a vice president or when he was a senator.
	So let's talk about all the other.
	It looks whether it's Fannie Willis with the $700,000 for a lover and all that kind of stuff.
	Jack Smith being delayed because of the Supreme Court and the immunity.
	Is it your expectation, as somebody who's been following this from inside Capitol Hill, that these, as you said, attempts to use the judiciary to affect election interference, are they just going to all collapse, Congressman?
	Well, I think you're going to, Jack Smith, and I think it's Judge Cannon, you're going to have to wait until after the election.
	This is election interference.
	This whole, all of these different indictments against Donald Trump is election interference.
	From Phony Fanny to Alvin Bragg to Letitia Peekaboo James, it's all election interference.

	Well, his speech, obviously, it was longer than I thought he would go on.
	You know, because you're talking now it's almost 8 o'clock.
	He's probably in bed by this time.
	But it certainly appears that Jill gave him a nap in the afternoon.
	And he was there wide open with his eyes.
	He was.
	He seemed angry.
	He seemed frustrated.
	He was attacking us.
	He even attacked the Supreme Court.

	And so he attacked us, but I don't think it went very well for him.
	He did a lot of speaking, but there was no substance to the speech.
	There really wasn't.
	But, some have disagreed with me on this, but I thought that his delivery said he delivered the speech well enough to get everybody in that chamber on the Democrat side,
	Nancy Pelosi and the rest of them, to save four more years.
	So if there was a Democrat, Gavin Newsom or Michelle Obama or even Hillary Clinton, that
	were waiting in the wings thinking he's going to fall on his face following a big press
	conference saying I'm running for president, he's their nominee.
	There's no question about it.
	And I am so glad he is.
	Which is good for us.
	I think it's the greatest thing.
	America won.
	Two winners.

	Let's talk about the fact that he wouldn't talk about the border.

	Again, talking to voters at the polling locations in Texas for the last couple weeks during our primary, the border is the number one issue for them.
	People would say, we have to do something about the border, we have to do something about the border.
	So I thought this book was timely, I thought it was, it took several months but it came out last month and I think it should be a must read for, in my humble opinion, for every 8th grader because it's filled with truth.
	Twelve chapters of truth.
	And I titled it Borderless by Design because the American people have to understand this isn't by accident.
	This is truly by design.
	With a list at the back with all the proclamations the President brought us to secure the border.
	These are the receipts that the Sheriff, the Congressman, the Major brings.
	Isn't it a little ironic, Congressman, that President Trump really won the election in 2016 because of the border and the build the wall?
	And the Democrats are helping him, God willing, to win again on the same issue.
	Isn't that a bit strange?

	He won that election.
	He clobbered her.
	And then in 2020, of course, we know, you agree, he won as well, but they rigged the election.
	under COVID rules and the national declaration, the national emergency.
	But Donald Trump's going to come back.
	I get a lot of Democrats that always will say that Donald Trump is this and it was the
	most free and fair election in 2020.
	Well, if it truly was, then why don't you want the same guy back in 2024?
	You know what I mean?
	If you really won $81 million to $74 million, as they claim, you would think, I want to
	have the same guy back because we'll really give him a shellacking this time too.
	But they know they rigged the election.
	They rigged it.
	They don't want Donald Trump back.

	Yeah, if it was such a big win, if Biden's so great, why do you want to put him in prison?

	I want to get back to why you wrote the book and the kind of story that triggered it from your time as sheriff, but having served a nation also in the U.S.
	Army, I heard this this morning, and this just, as a former strategist to the President, I serve in the British Army as well, this story or this clip absolutely blew my mind.
	This is Pentagon Press Secretary General Patrick Ryder being asked about U.S.
	troops building a port ...appear for Americans to give aid to Hamas's population and the question about whether they might react badly.

	Do you anticipate that Hamas will try to fire on the operation?
	You know, look, I mean, that's certainly a risk, again.
	But if Hamas truly does care about the Palestinian people, then, again, one would hope that this international mission to deliver aid to people who need it would be able to happen unhindered.

	That's a two-star general who's saying if and we hope that our troops and our sailors won't be shot at.
	You don't, strategy is not if and hope.
	I mean what has happened congressman?

	They're using them as human shields.
	Listen, I think it's very, very clear.
	Joe Biden is in a very difficult position.
	He's put himself in it.
	Because right now when they had votes in Michigan, there were, what, 100 and something thousand
	uncommitted.
	Listen, Joe Biden, somebody's whispering in his ear and saying, hey listen, I know you support Israel, but we're losing a bunch of people with Palestine.
	You've got to stop that.
	You've got to make sure that they do a ceasefire.
	This is what he's doing.
	So now what's the federal government's response?

	You talk about the opening of the book, why you really wrote it when you were a sheriff, and the story of one tragic death.

	I was a sheriff of a very large county in Texas, Fort Bend County.

	How does a sheriff, how do you explain to people You know, America's like, I'm sorry, mom should be here today, but this guy's been deported because it's just... So we've got problems at the southern border, we truly do.
	I don't know how individuals can get deported more than once, quite honestly.
	They keep coming back, they keep coming back.
	The name of the individual who killed that woman is Marlon Alexander Zavala Alcantara.
	I'd like you to keep Laquita Joyce Boo's memory, her soul, in your prayers and her loved ones.

	When people differentiate between legal immigration and illegal immigration, The undertone from your side is that somehow people who are coming illegally are trying to break into the country, that are trying to do something wrong, when in fact it took me 17 years to go through the legal immigration system and I am not disparaging of people who are trying to come to this country for all the reasons that drive people to come to the United States.
	Eric, I'm confused.
	She's talking about doing it legally.
	And A, why did it take you 17 years?
	That's a bit weird.
	It took me three as a legal alien.
	And then she's saying, well, well, it took me 17.
	Therefore, what's that got to do with illegals who don't do anything to actually become citizens?
	It's just, it's the cheapest tactic they can go for, is saying like, oh, all immigrants, when Democrats, or when Republicans say they want to secure the border and deport people, they're talking about all immigrants, honestly.
	There are Twitter ex-accounts out there saying, oh, Trump wants to round up all Hispanics, as if all Hispanics are immigrants.
	It's just, it's the only thing they have to try to defend this border crisis.
	Whilst we had Congressman Nelson's studio for a whole hour, they were just wrapping up his Judiciary Committee testimony of Special Counsel Robert Herr, the man who wrote the 388-page report, basically saying, yeah, Joe Biden broke the law, he committed multiple felonies with classified documents he wasn't authorized to keep, but he's too old and senile for us to prosecute him.
	There is a clip from that with Jim Jordan that we want to share with you because we keep on top of the news as well.

	What did he do after you were named special counsel?
	Chairman, if you're referring to the audio recordings that Mr. Zwanitzer created of his conversations with Mr. Biden... That's exactly what I'm referring to.
	He slid, if I remember correctly, he slid those files into his recycle bin on his computer.
	Tried to destroy the evidence, didn't he?
	Correct.
	Classified information shared by a man who didn't have the authority to retain it.
	And he gives it to his ghostwriter, the man who's pretending to be Joe Biden in writing his memoirs.
	And when we find out about it, what does the ghostwriter do?
	He slides it into his trash on his desktop to try and hide it, to hide the evidence.
	That's who we're dealing with.
	It is frightening, but it's not as frightening as this.

	If I were that general's boss, I would strip him publicly of his rank.
	The idea that you can be a flag officer, you can be a general, and make such an asinine, a-strategic statement.
	I hope, I hope the terrorists won't shoot at us.
	That they will do what's right.

	You shouldn't be wearing the uniform of an airman, of a lieutenant, let alone a two-star general.

	Oh, that's me, of course.
	That's at the temple wall in Jerusalem.
	We've put one of those images with the president on a t-shirt.
	That's in the old town, the old city just outside, where we gave a lecture.
	I mean, God bless.
	This was on our tour of the Holy Land.
	350 of our listeners were there to receive, you know, cultural enlightenment, to see the home of God's chosen people, and then something called the City of David.
	Freeze on that picture for a moment.
	Will you tell us, Zev, where my wife is standing in that photograph?
	Because it looks like there's a building or a roof above her, but what's actually above Katie?
	What's above Katy is the modern-day city of David.
	It is a neighborhood, mixed Jewish-Arab neighborhood, and where Katy is standing is the most significant half-mile on the planet.
	There is no half-mile that means more to more people than where Katy's standing, which is on the Pilgrimage Road.
	That is the road that our ancestors, yours and mine, 2,000 years ago, when they were making pilgrimage on the way up to the Temple, the top of the Temple Mount, that's the road they walked on.
	I want it to be clear.
	There's a picture of KD, for our radio listeners, standing on a sloping roadway of giant stones, flagstones, which was the pilgrimage route up to the temple.
	The route that, for example, as we read in the New Testament, Jesus and his parents would walk on those stones up to the temple after having cleansed themselves.
	In the Pool of Siloam.
	Right.
	Why do you know this?
	How did you find it?
	So how do we have this today?
	Because it's an incredible story.
	How did you find that?
	So we have a teaching in our faith, which is God has many messengers.
	In this case, 2004, a busted sewage pipe leads to the discovery of one of the most significant
	biblical heritage sites in all of Jerusalem, the Pool of Siloam, where in the Christian
	scriptures the story of the healing of the blind man takes place, where the Bible tells
	us that three times a year, all of Israel would go on pilgrimage up to the Temple on
	the Temple Mount, Passover, Pentecost, Tabernacles, and you have to go to a ritual bath first
	to cleanse.
	The historian Josephus says nearly three million people are going on pilgrimage 2,000 years
	ago, time of Jesus, on Passover.
	So once you go up to the pool to cleanse, the question is how did those millions of
	pilgrims get from the pool on the half-mile journey up to the Temple Mount?
	And the answer is what has been called the most significant archaeological discovery
	in the last hundred years.
	The pilgrimage road, the biblical superhighway, the road that your ancestors and mine would have walked on 2,000 years ago when they went on pilgrimage up to the temple.
	And talk to us, we've got one more picture of you taking us on a tour.
	Where are we standing in this photograph?
	So that is a site believed by many to have been the palace of King David.
	That was the original Capitol Hill.
	The place where the kings of the Bible ruled, the prophets of the Bible preached, and a site that, until 2005, was underground.
	When an archaeologist came into our visitor center and says, you need to move your offices, because beneath your feet you will find the palace of King David.
	There is no place on the planet, more so than the city of David, the place where Jerusalem began, where you can take the Bible in one hand, you can take the archaeological discoveries in another, and you see it's not simply a matter of faith, but a matter of fact.
	And when you're there, and this is what was so stunning for all of our listeners, The Bible comes alive when you're actually standing on a flagstone that Jesus, that the chosen people walked on during the holy celebrations for the Jewish faith.
	And it's not a story in a book, it's not a drawing somebody made up to illustrate the Bible,
	you're actually standing there. And then the evidence of the coins, the buildings,
	these things are tangible. That's right. And the amazing thing is when you first come into
	the City of David, we saw it together, there's a giant plaque, a big stone dedication,
	of recognizing the City of David as a heritage site.
	This was done by the Trump administration, one of the last things that they did.
	But it's not recognized as a Jewish heritage site or an Israeli heritage site.
	There's a giant American flag on this plaque.
	It's recognized as an American heritage site.
	And the question is why?
	Why would the United States of America, why would the Trump administration recognize the City of David, some 6,000 miles outside the borders of the United States, as an American heritage site?
	But what they understood is the bedrock upon which this nation, the United States of America, is built.
	The Judeo-Christian heritage has its roots in the city of David.
	Therefore, all the heritage that we're unearthing is not just significant to the Jewish people or to Israel, it's your heritage.
	It's the heritage of hundreds of millions of Americans who this is the foundations of their values, of their ideals, and it's also when people deny that heritage.
	It's not just an attack on us, it's an attack on your heritage too.
	There's a reason it's called the Judeo-Christian civilization.
	You know, the long form of the West is Judeo-Christian civilization.

	Zev, what reaction do you see in the people that you take around the city of David, that you take on that path from the pool up to the temple, when they realize that they're actually seeing the words of the Bible in reality?
	What kind of effect does that have on people?
	I think for many people who grow up studying the Bible, trying to connect with Scripture, when you're doing it in the United States of America, and really anywhere else in the world, it's something you believe, but it's theoretical because you can't connect to the places, to the places where those people were.
	And when you come to the city of David, when you're in the place where the Bible happened, the words of the Bible come to life in a way that's just not possible anywhere else.
	And so you're seeing your faith Come to life, not simply as a matter of faith, but as a matter of fact.
	You don't have to apologize for it.
	It's not superstition, it's not Harry Potter, that you have the science, the archaeology, affirming so much of what's written in the scripture, and you can literally walk in those same places.
	And you know, whether it's on university campuses today, in the media, in the culture, mocking, scorning those who believe in that heritage.
	And that heritage is on solid bedrock.
	In fact, far solider than what so much of what's being produced today in culture.
	This has stood the test of time.
	It's what Western civilization has been built upon, and it's not going anywhere.
	And I'm sure you've seen people for whom it's been a life-changing event to actually see the words of God in reality.
	That's right.
	And it's, you know, being able to see, to walk on those stones, to see with your own eyes, to touch with your own hands.
	It brings the Bible to life in a way that's just not possible anywhere else.
	And it's, I find for myself, it's a source of inspiration.
	You look at what's happening right now in Israel, post-October 7th.
	And what Hamas did, they didn't call it the Gaza flood, they didn't call it the settlements flood, they called it the Al-Aqsa flood attack.
	Talking about Jerusalem.
	It's about Jerusalem.
	And we're bringing it to life.

	You're back and forth between Israel and America.
	How are the people of Israel doing?
	Because this is the greatest shock to their system since the Holocaust, really.
	People are strong, unified.
	We have a common enemy that we will do what we need to do to destroy that enemy.
	This big surprise that we had though was I think the nation thought we had more friends than we did and you see the attitude of many in the world that are supporting Murderers.
	Rapists.
	Terrorists.
	You know, the Oscars.
	You had all these celebrities wearing these red handpins.
	The red handpins goes back to something that happened in the early 2000s where you had terrorists in Ramallah who lynched two Israeli soldiers.
	They held up their hands with blood on them, and that's the red handpin that these people are wearing.
	We thought that the United States would be, I think, more supportive in allowing us to defeat Someone, an organization that is on the United States terror list.
	So we're going to do what we need to do.
	And I believe most people in America support what we're doing.
	And we're going to get through it.
	You gave us an amazing tour of the city of David underneath Jerusalem and you interjected it, not just with history, but with, you know, geopolitics and the real world today.
	And you said something stunning that stuck in my mind.
	Imagine trying to be Israel or being an Israeli today because for four years you had a great friend in the White House and now it's the opposite and you said you feel as if America is schizophrenic because we go hot, we go cold, we go hot, we go cold.
	Is that reversal That we moved the embassy, we recognized Jerusalem, now we're giving billions of dollars to Israel's enemies and our enemies.
	Do the average Israelis know how to cope with that schizophrenia from our side?
	I think in Israel, but really countries throughout the region and maybe even around the world
	have to take into account that you don't know what you're going to get when it comes to
	American foreign policy from one administration to the next.
	And therefore, countries like Israel and others in the region are saying, OK, maybe we have
	to build our future not entirely dependent on America.
	And there's something healthy about that.
	But at the same time, I think that countries like Israel would much prefer to have a strong
	alliance with the United States than have to factor in more what China is going to do
	or Russia is going to do.
	And so that's a loss for everybody.
	Just so you understand the significance of what Zev just said.
	A, you have what happened at the Oscars two days ago, where a Jewish American says he disavows his Jewishness.
	I don't even know how you would do that.
	Like, as an American, how I disavow my Americanness?
	And to say, as a Jew, I disavow?
	I mean, what level of self-hatred that requires?
	But beyond that, the celebration of rape.
	You think Zev is being hyperbolic?
	These are the posters that are being stuck up around New York right now in other cities.

	It has the quote-unquote Palestinian flag and over the flag it has the following phrase and these are printed decals.
	Rape is resistance and underneath just pay attention to this.

	We were talking in the break, how do we end this amazing interview with you, and you talked about your first ever visit with President Trump recently in Mar-a-Lago, and you were stunned by something.

	The thing that struck me in a humorous way and also a very warm way, we were sitting in this meeting and at a certain point he was talking about the renovations going on at Mar-a-Lago, and the renovations of a particular room, and at some point he's like, let's go take a look at it, and I'm like, well, this guy, he's still, you know, like the builder in New York City.
	And you weren't expecting to be shown the renovations at Mar-a-Lago.
	You weren't there as a building inspector.
	And the thing though that I was very impressed by was he knew the names of every single worker there.
	And he spoke to them, and he was warm with them.
	It wasn't like they're servants or anything.
	He respects them.
	And to me, when you get to that station of life, you don't have to do that anymore.
	But it's a measure of who you are.
	That's right.
	The way you behave to those who you don't have to be respectful to is a measure of a man and a woman.
	And it reminds me of when I went back to see the president two years after I left the administration.

	It's like, you mean my wife that you've met three times in your life at the Christmas party?

	Yeah, believe that?

	And I have to say, I got multiple people, regular callers, listeners, strangers who said, Wow, that briefing from Joseph about what China, Iran and Russia are doing, how they're part of the caravans of illegals, absolutely stunning.
	So, let's start with the Director of the FBI.
	There's a new threat coming from south of the border.
	You've just got back from the region.
	He's right, right?
	Well, he's right, except for one thing.
	It's not new.
	This has been going on for a long time, and those that are paying attention to Latin America, such as I do, have been seeing this escalate over the years.
	And what the border really represents is a symptom of the failures of U.S.
	foreign policy in Latin America for decades.
	And I think part of that failure is the idea that the United States needs to play nice with China, needs to play nice with Russia, ignore Iran, And while we've been doing that, those three actors in particular have basically been dominating.
	They've dominated most of South America, pretty much at this point.
	And now they're focused on Mexico and Central America.
	We'll talk about Mexico, as you said before we went on air, that like, that's the prize.
	If they can capture Mexico, that's it.
	The hemisphere is theirs.
	But let's start for those who say, I mean, maybe they didn't hear your last interview.
	Maybe they just tuned in.
	What on earth is China?
	Iran and Russia doing in Latin America?
	What are they doing in our hemisphere?
	China's rather far away from this region, as is Russia, as is Iran.
	So let's start at the beginning.
	What is their goal?
	Why are they here and what are they involved in?
	So, they are diminishing a geographic disadvantage that they had in the 20th century.
	Now, the Soviet Union tried this in the 20th century during the Cold War to mix results.
	They did get some Cuban-supported communist countries that kind of stood up, but most of them didn't last, and the Soviet Union lost the Cold War.
	Since the Cold War has passed, now Russia, has decided to team up with China and Iran, which have a lot of differences among those countries, both theocratic differences with the regime in Iran, and also territorial differences with China.
	But they have a common enemy.
	They have a common enemy, and they have a common purpose, and that has united them in the 21st century.
	And as we speak right now... For those of you who are Democrats and are listening, the common enemy is us.
	It's us in the West, honestly.
	The entire Western civilization.
	They believe that that was a mistake, and they've got to revert that.
	So as we speak right now, Russia, China, and Iran are holding their sixth naval exercise, joint naval exercise, in the Indian Ocean.
	The idea is to bring that I'm going to interrupt.
	This is the third time I've interrupted in five minutes.
	I need to repeat this.
	For those who aren't experts in the region, Russia, China and Iran are having another naval exercise in the Sea of India.
	In the Sea of India?
	With the intention of taking that to the Caribbean.
	That's what they're training for.
	They're training to bring that.
	They call themselves a multipolar force.
	And they're trying to bring that multipolar world into Latin America.
	They've already done it successfully for most of South America.
	But what they're looking at is the Gulf of Mexico.
	Because if you capture Mexico, as you're alluding to, that is the geopolitical prize.
	You now have the United States in checkmate.
	Because you got us from the South, and then if you get the Arctic and the Canada, you got us from the North, and then you're able to squeeze the United States in asymmetric pressure that we haven't responded to.
	So they're moving, and I think that they're moving specifically in 2024, because they don't know what's going to happen in 2025.
	The future is uncertain.
	So they're counting on today.
	Well, I mean, we had Putin basically endorse Biden last week and say, yeah, I'd like Biden back in the White House.
	Well, we know you'd like Biden back in the White House.
	Let's talk about, I want us to really do a graduate school deep dive, because as a former military intelligence officer said, Afghanistan can be important, but it's very far away.
	Likewise, Iraq.
	But if Mexico really collapses, If we have not just cartels running the North, but if we have an insurgent collapsed failed state, that's far more damaging to America than something happening 8,000 miles away in the Caucasus or in Central Asia, correct?
	Yeah.
	Well, so here's the thing, and I'll break this down a little bit, how China operates, right?
	Because they hoodwinked most of Latin America into believing that most of their interests were economic in nature.
	They said, we're just here for trade and investment.
	And most of Latin America, they're always open to trade investment.
	Actually, when Hu Jintao went to Latin America in 2004, he promised $110 billion.
	Everybody's ears perked up.
	He actually fulfilled that promise.
	They were $180 billion by 2010.
	Wow.
	And now they're at $450 billion region-wide.
	But the reality of it is that China today does not have the money to be able to pour into Latin America the way they did in the first decade.
	They've got problems domestically.
	They've got a housing crisis, they've got a depopulation crisis, they've got a political crisis and creeping inflation.
	So they're not going to be able to do what they once did during the commodity super cycle.
	But what they're doing is they're leveraging those investments on specific projects related to critical infrastructure.
	And there's three I'm going to mention right now.
	Ports and telecommunications.
	That's what the game is.
	Which means you're controlling that landmass.
	You're controlling the landmass, you're controlling the way things move in and out of the region, and you're establishing new trade routes.
	We'll build you a massive port, but it's a Chinese port.
	Exactly, a Chinese port that in the clauses of all the contracts says can be used for military exercises.
	So there will be cargo ships, but there will be aircraft carriers that come next.
	So China has over 40 port infrastructure projects in Latin America where they're either expanding or building.
	4-0.
	40, order 40.
	Including 4 in Mexico.
	Including 4 in Mexico and the bigger ones, the one in Peru is going to be the biggest port, it's a mega port in a city called Shanghai, the biggest port on the Pacific Ocean.
	We could just spend the next hour talking about that.
	If you've got 40 ports in our hemisphere that can be used for military purposes in the contracts That China signs with those nations.
	That's dominance of trade.
	That's dominance geopolitically and militarily.
	And that's strategic positioning.
	Yeah.
	And this is the thing about the invasion of Taiwan that nobody talks about.
	What happens when they get to the other side of the Pacific?
	They're not going to invade Taiwan just to stay in the blue ocean.
	No.
	They're going to look at source destinations.
	What's next?
	Yeah.
	And so, South America they have.
	They have ports ready.
	The one in Peru they're going to inaugurate in November this year.
	Xi Jinping himself said he's going to come to inaugurate it in November this year.
	I have to ask, because you are the expert, you're the smartest guy in this region that I know.
	Are the governments of these regimes in the region Are they dumb?
	Or are they just greedy?
	Because if you're saying, I'm going to sign a contract where Communist China can use this new port, or dozens of ports, for military purposes, you have to be really greedy or really stupid.
	It's a little bit of both, to be honest with you.
	But that's a good point, because in my conversations, the number one pushback I get, right, is where's the United States?
	Right?
	They're always like, where's the United... Like, we don't want to work with China, but the United States doesn't... No, we have to!
	And I don't take that reasoning because I say, OK, I get it.
	The United States is absent.
	We've been absent.
	We have a weak administration.
	I get it.
	But what about your sovereignty?
	What about your people?
	Don't do this for us.
	Do this for yourself.
	And there's plenty of history and plenty of empirical evidence.
	Look at Africa.
	Look at the Middle East of what China does when they take up your infrastructure.
	Well, and also, we've never done that.
	We've never invested in other countries.
	I mean, unless you're talking about World War II or what have you.
	We never invest in another country and say that port is our military asset.
	I mean, the closest thing to that would have been the Panama Canal, which we actually gave back to the Panamanians in the 1970s.
	So we don't really do that anymore.
	But I would say this.
	Yeah, there's merit to the argument the United States needs to do more.
	We need to reassure ourselves in the world, and specifically in Latin America.
	But the Latin Americans need to realize that the Chinese are selling them fake investments.
	And they're buying their future.
	Yeah.
	They're basically buying the future of those nations.

	Okay, I just want to put this infographic up that you sent me literally in the green room about 30 minutes ago.
	This, for our listeners, is a map of China's ports.
	Communist China's infrastructure investments across Latin America.
	It is a sea of red.
	I will be posting it on my Twitter, my Facebook, my Instagram, because this man has the receipts for what's happening in America's backyard.
	No, let's go a little bit closer to home because he just got back from a, you know, this is one of the guys who doesn't sit in an office in, you know, DC and just pontificates.
	He goes out and he actually does the research.
	Let's talk about the region.
	Let's put a map up there with both of us as well so we can talk through the map.
	So, we've got Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize, Colombia at the end.
	We've got Mexico.
	Can you talk us through the reality of this region in terms of penetration, democracy, authoritarianism?
	Okay, so let's begin with, first, the recipe that they did in South America was to come in through diplomacy and economic engagement, and then they would switch that to intelligence and military cooperation.
	So going first with trade deals.
	Trade deals.
	And then morph it over time into intelligence, covert military operations, and then just geopolitical influence.
	Absolutely, with the strategic purpose of positioning.
	So let's go back to the map in Central America.
	So the country I just came back from is Honduras.
	Honduras is the country that most recently, the last country I believe in the world, to break diplomatic relations with Taiwan in favor of the PRC.
	So that's a really important metric.
	The last nation to break relations with Free Taiwan in favor of Communist China.
	Sending a message that we're on your side, China.
	Yeah, and it's a socialist government in Honduras under President Xiomara Castro.
	Who's good friends with Kamala Harris, I heard.
	Nonetheless, I was down there and what really got my attention is this, and we were talking about this a second ago, is almost everywhere else that China has presence in Latin America, they boast about their presence.
	They put their flag up, they have their embassy, they hold receptions.
	In Honduras, they're hidden.
	Even though they have official relations, they won't deny that.
	Do they have an embassy, but it's not on the street with a flag?
	It's in the fifth floor of a hotel in Tegucigalpa, the capital.
	It's in a suite, basically.
	There are Chinese embassies hidden inside a hotel?
	Yeah, essentially.
	Why?
	I have no idea.
	I have no idea exactly why, but I'll tell you what I think.
	I think the reason is, is because they're trying to work with and through the Honduran government to not make the Honduran government look like a proxy of China, in fact, of which they are.
	So to not give the impression that they've captured the state, but to use it as a smokescreen.
	Correct, correct.
	Given that Taiwan, even though it doesn't have diplomatic relations, do have a lot of trade and commerce and cultural relations with Honduras.
	And then the second point to that is strategically.
	Honduras, if you look at it from the lens of a cockpit, it's pretty much that bridge in Central America from South America up to Mexico.
	And what you see in Honduras is a big landmass that connects the Pacific to the Caribbean.
	So what China's been working on over time, both in South America and Central America,
	is building trans-oceanic railways, ways to connect the Pacific to the Atlantic and the
	Caribbean so they don't depend on the Panama Canal.
	Because once the Panama Canal, it becomes collapsed or it becomes bottlenecked, you
	hit 7 percent of global shipping and 30 percent of U.S.
	trade.
	And that's essentially where they're going to go to.
	Right now, if that happens, you're going to hurt Chinese trade as well because they depend
	on the canal until they can get those trans-oceanic shipping online.
	And so that's another thing that they're doing in Honduras.
	They're actually building a port right on the end of the Pacific called San Lorenzo,
	the Gulf of Fonseca.
	And here's the thing.
	This is where I really figured out.
	They're really rebuilding Soviet infrastructure.
	This is where the Cold War was happening.
	This is where the Soviets were putting all their money.
	If you go to the Gulf of Fonseca, if you look on the map, essentially the Soviets used to arm the Sandinistas in Nicaragua and send those weapons across the Gulf of Fonseca to the FMLN in Salvador, the guerrillas in Salvador.
	It was right through that waterway.
	The United States Marines and the Navy SEALs put a base inside the Gulf of Fonseca, which is now under the new Honduran government starting to work with China.
	So they're taking what the U.S.
	infrastructure was to stop the Soviets during the Cold War and taking it over and using it for themselves.
	Absolutely stunning.
	We've only discussed one country so far.
	It's the one that Joseph has just come back from.
	We need to know this.
	Why?
	Because this is the neighborhood.
	It's like, you've got a nice house, but what if the rest of the neighborhood is taken over by bad guys?
	You need to know that, don't you?
	Well, that's the situation with America and south of the border.
	We'll go through them momentarily.

	What are these wristbands?
	I don't know what they are.
	You don't know what they are?
	Mr. Secretary, you have just testified to the American people you're incompetent at your job.
	Because I've been to the southern border, and if you go to the southern border, along the southern border, you see thousands of these wristbands.
	Because the illegal immigrants wear them.
	The drug cartels, every color corresponds to how many thousands of dollars they owe the cartels.
	You've turned these cartels into multi-billion dollar criminal organizations, and these are modern day leg irons.
	Because these are children being sold into sex slavery, and you don't even know what they are!
	That is astonishing!
	It is astonishing, but not if your policy is to, what, purchase new voters?
	And because they've got brown skin, if you naturalize them, you think you'll have Democrats for life?
	That's the deep bigotry of the current administration.
	Joseph, Can you give us a snapshot of what's happened in the last three years because it's not people want a better life and there's just these random groups of people crossing the border.
	I mean the wristband thing tells you enough.
	Can you talk about how this is industrialized and how this is networked and how it's supported by bad actors who want to destabilize America?
	Well, first, I mean, that's really astonishing, to be honest with you, that the Secretary of Homeland Security doesn't know what every law enforcement officer knows, that that's how they segment the different migrants.
	They give them different color wristbands, and that's basically like a purchase receipt for whatever you paid.
	Like, I paid five grand, I paid ten grand, this is how much I still owe you.
	Exactly.
	I mean, this is like, it's basic law enforcement 101, and the Secretary... There's not one sheriff's deputy in a border county who doesn't know what that thing is that the Secretary doesn't know.
	That's astonishing, that's astonishing.
	But to your question, so human smuggling and the twin cousin of human smuggling, human trafficking, which is an economic crime, sex trafficking, has probably on the verge of eclipsing drug trafficking in terms of profits for cartels and other illicit activities.
	You don't need labs.
	The labor costs are low.
	You could actually recycle the costs because it's not, you know, the reason CPB measures this in encounters and apprehensions and not people, because it could be the same person that repeatedly tries to get across the border and they get taxed all the same.
	So this industry, I call it the migrant industrial complex, right?
	This industry includes NGOs.
	It includes lawyers.
	It includes law firms.
	Things like Catholic charities.
	Charities.
	It includes politicians and it includes transportation networks.
	And what it's done is it's a booming industry to move massive amounts of people from all corners of the world.
	We're talking about billions of dollars.
	I mean billions.
	Don't go into building apartment blocks in El Salvador.
	They go into the pockets of crime cartels.
	Yeah, like cocaine, for instance, is about a $180 billion global industry.
	The fact that cartels are looking to wedge their cocaine industry for human smuggling tells you how big that industry really is.
	It's in the billions of dollars.
	And so what that's actually doing is it's creating incentives for all kinds of gangs from all over the world to come to the U.S.
	southern border.
	And nations.
	And nations, and the nations behind them.
	Like the Chinese Snakehead, right?
	That's an organized crime gang that specializes in human smuggling, that was smuggling Chinese migrants into Sri Lanka.
	They're now on the southern border, because they're making more money at that than they do back in Asia.
	Let's go back to our map of Central America, and just tell us, you've talked about the land bridge, the importance of Nicaragua.
	Talk to us about the very top there, Mexico.
	What happens if they actually undermine Mexico more than it's already undermined?
	So we need to really pay attention to Mexico.
	It has an election this year.
	The current president of Mexico is an anti-American.
	He hates the United States.
	He works with all the socialists in the region.
	He invites China in.
	But under President Trump, we put him in check because we said, listen, We understand you don't like us.
	We understand you have these socialist fantasies.
	But at the end of the day, we're your largest trade partner.
	You depend on us.
	And we have a great defense cooperation.
	He said we're going to put a 30% tariff on goods unless you behave.
	And they behaved.
	You could do it on goods.
	You could do it on remittances.
	We have leverage here.
	The United States has leverage.
	Under the Biden administration, we have given all that leverage up.
	And by giving all that leverage up, what has happened?
	Mexico has gotten more embraced by China, Russia, and Iran.
	China is now not just developing ports, but is also looking at lithium as a strategic reserve to have concession on the lithium deposits.
	And this is the big secret about Mexico, is Mexico is going to position our adversaries' militaries into their country to destabilize the United States through special operations.
	And that's what we have to look forward to if their policies continue.
	So it's not going to be missiles in Cuba.
	It's going to be irregular warfare actors literally in the nation that is just south of our border.
	Yeah, and they're going to be flipping it on us.
	They're going to be basically using the cartels, using the human smugglers, using all of them through the open borders.
	In radicalizing specific communities along the borders to be anti-American, to be anti-United States.
	And that's the plan, that's the direction that they're going.
	However, they're banking on the re-election of President Biden.
	Because if President Biden is re-elected, they know how to play that card.
	They know the weakness that emits and they know how to maneuver.
	They're really not hoping that President Trump comes back because they know the amount of leverage that the United States can put on Mexico if they need to.
	And that's why we have quite reliable reports in the last three weeks that there were talks between the Biden administration and the Mexican government to slow the roll, to just slow the caravans down until November so they can get Biden re-elected.
	Slow the spigot, don't make it look like it's as bad a crisis as it is, and then open the spigot and the borders again.

	Thank you, Joseph, for telling the truth, for going to these places to find out what our enemies are doing in our hemisphere.
	My engineer wants to know, can we just start the Monroe Doctrine?
	Can we just rev it up and start it up again?
	Answer that question by telling us, what happens if the bad guys win in our hemisphere?
	Well, if the bad guys win, I mean, it's checkmate against the United States.
	I mean, if we lose in Latin America, we will lose everywhere in the world.
	And that's the thing that a lot of the defense hucks don't understand.
	You can't support Ukraine, you can't support Israel, if your border's going to collapse.
	If you can't secure your backyard, you can't do anything.
	If you lose your sovereignty, you're gone.
	Right.
	And so, I argue, not just the Monroe Doctrine, I mean, you could go back to Andrew... Which means what stuff happens in our backyard is of a vital interest to America.
	No intervening powers from abroad.
	In that case, it was the European monarchies.
	Today, it's China and Iran and Russia.
	But the main fundamental premise here is, if we go back to the founding fathers of Andrew Jackson and the Battle of New Orleans, of Thomas Jefferson and the idea of no entanglements, of James Monroe and the Monroe Doctrine, we understand that the basics of foreign policy is to have a secure area of affinity.
	America cannot be great if its neighborhood, as you said, is collapsing.
	And it doesn't make sense that the big brains in Washington all have grand strategies for every part of the world except the one in which we live.
	It's like China saying we have a big plan for the world but nothing for the Indo-Pacific.
	It makes no sense.
	So a successful strategy will prioritize our neighborhood, would prioritize a great power competition, actually competing against our adversaries and winning, and then securing our neighborhood so we can help our allies abroad.
	This is really getting my geopolitical juices flowing.
	Here's my analogy.
	You've got to boil it down to simple things.
	What we're seeing right now with the elites, the experts, is as if the mayor of Baltimore has plans for how to fix the drug problem in LA.
	It's like, really?
	How about the shootings every weekend in Baltimore?
	That's the situation that these people have created in our country.
