There's a part of California called Oakland.
It's incredibly dangerous.
Just last night, there's a post from Andy Ngo on his Twitter.
Four or five armed gunmen, black armed gunmen, hijacked a cigarette delivery lorry.
I think it was like an 18-wheeler, so full of very, very valuable cigarette cartons.
It had an armed guard.
and they mugged him, took his weapon and stole that shipment of cigarettes.
Quite violent, right?
Use of guns to steal cigarettes.
But last night at the Oakland City Council, was that the topic of debate?
Was it about getting criminals sentenced to lengthy terms of imprisonment if they used violence?
Was it a call for a ceasefire in California?
No.
What you're about to hear are American citizens of Oakland, many of them wearing, you know, pro-Palestine terrorist scarves, Black Lives Matter raised fists, Antifa t-shirts, you name it.
And what are they saying about the Middle East?
Please, listen closely, because these are Americans in America.

There's not been beheadings of babies and rapings.
Israel murdered their own people on October 7th.
Calling Hamas a terrorist organization is ridiculous, racist, and plays into genocidal propaganda that is flooding our media and that we should be doing everything possible to combat.
I support the right of Palestinians to resist occupation, including through Hamas, the armed wing of the unified Palestinian resistance.
As an Arab, asking with this context to condemn Hamas is very anti-Arab racist.
The notion that this was a massacre of Jews is a fabricated narrative.
Many of those killed on October 7- Thank you ma'am, your time is up.
Including children were killed by the IDF.
An amendment condemning Hamas is bald propaganda meant to- Thank you, your time is up.
To hear them complain about Hamas violence is like listening to a wife beater complain when his wife finally stands up and fights back.

Did anyone else notice that those who oppose this resolution are old white supremacists?
It's hard to know where to begin.
Entitled.
Wealthy by any historic standard.
Wealthy white individuals.
I think there was one lady of maybe Middle Eastern extraction there.
The rest were white.

Anyway, people of a country that lost six million of its people in the Holocaust would then slaughter its own?
For what effect?
Do we think Israel likes being at war with Hamas right now?
Do you think people feel safe?
This is an illness.
This is a sickness.
And it's so putrid.
It's so without any moral center.
Yesterday was the funeral of Rosalind Carter, the former First Lady.
And these people We're at a funeral protesting Israel and the U.S.
government outside the funeral of a Democrat former first lady.
I know you find this hard to believe, but here's the evidence.

Whether it's climate change, like Greta, who has turned out to be an anti-Semite.

Or whether it's the, America is racist.
All white people are white supremacists.
Whatever it is, you are an empty vessel that can be led by the nose in the interests of those who simply want you so they can maintain their power base.
It's filthy.

Alright, is Chris Christie delusional?
What's happening?
Let's talk to the man who, he has the pulse of America First because he runs something called the American Greatness website.
Chris Boskirk, it's been too long, welcome back to America First!

So you told me, I was trying to work it out maybe two months ago on this show, that the big money donors have realized they've finally woken up.
Ron DeSantis is not their guy.
They're shifting over to President Trump.
I was with President Trump in Mar-a-Lago last week.
He was fighting fit, raring to go.
Talk to us.
I've heard from others since we spoke.
Who have confirmed what you told to me months ago.
What has happened since we last spoke?
Is the playing field clearing out or is Chris Christie onto something?
Well, Chris Christie's on something, and I think it's a high-glucose diet.
But it's not good for his health, and it's not good for his political future either.
Look, the president is going to be the nominee, barring some super weird exogenous factor like perhaps the Lord returning.
Aliens abducting him.
But barring something of that magnitude, he's going to be the nominee.
And people who maybe were looking for somebody else, if we're talking about the donor class, they're slowly coming to realize that.
Some of them are saying, well, OK, he wasn't my first choice, but it's inevitable, and so I'm going to get on the train.
Some of them are still flailing around, maybe looking at somebody like Nikki Haley.
But everybody's getting the message, right?
What happened, if you just think about the progression of this, Ron DeSantis was supposed to be the shelling point for the anti-Trump Republican donor class.
Roll back the tape, I don't know, two, three, four months, maybe more.
Maybe it's more than that.
People realize that DeSantis, it just wasn't going to happen.
It wasn't working.
And so the people who had promised the DeSantis super pack, you know, promised in pencil, never wrote those big checks.
It just never happened because they realized it wasn't working.
And so they Is out there as an alternative, and there just wasn't anybody.
And so you get these little boomlets with Nikki Haley there.
You know, Tim Scott raised some money.
He's now out.
Mike Pence got the message.
And one by one, this is, you know, the way I guess I think about this is kind of 2015-16 being replayed, but way faster.
Yes.
And, you know, I think by Super Tuesday, this is over.
Well, it makes sense because one of the guys is a former president, so it's going to be very hard.
He doesn't have to prove anything to anybody, whatever Christie says.
It doesn't really matter, but you follow these things so closely and we're both, you know, political wonks.
What do you think is the reason for that collapse?
I have one little theory, but I don't think it's univalent.
It doesn't explain everything.
That the people the DeSantis campaign hired to be his boosters on social media, they were idiots because they attacked The Trump base and Trump supporters, instead of attacking Biden and the Democrats, it just didn't look good.
Why do you think this campaign just died before it got out of the starting gate?
Look, if you look at the DeSantis campaign, there are any number of problems.
There's problems on the campaign itself, there's problems on the outside group and the super PAC never backed down.
I mean, that money that is in there, I think, has been squandered.
But ultimately you have to look at the candidate himself.
It's not, you can't, you know, it's like the super inside baseball political urge to say, you know, it was Jeff Rowe and the consultants who was the, for people who don't know, that's the consultant running the outside group.
And that's like the president himself has taken a couple shots at Rowe.
Okay.
Those, I think criticisms are fair, but always it comes back to the same thing.
The buck stops on the candidate's desk and it's DeSantis himself.
If he, it's not as though he was doing really well, but you know, there were technical glitches behind the scenes.
It was him.
And then when we look at the, so you said it's going to be the president.
I completely agree with you, but what about the other side?
We're hearing, you know, the New York Times, CNN, finally criticize Joe Biden.
We're seeing losses in the swing states already, 11 months out.
Can this really be the person they're going to run with?
Or is there going to be some superdelegate shenanigans at the convention?
What's your expectation for the left?
Again, I think it's the exact same answer as it is for the Republican Party.
You know, barring the Lord returning, it's Biden.
Now, Biden is, you know, like for all of his mental fragility, he does appear to be in
physically pretty good health.
And if that continues to be the case, they you know, this is a part of it.
You mean he's not on a stretcher at Walter Reed, right?
No, exactly right.
I mean, he's mentally incompetent.
That much is clear.
But he's physically in decent shape.
And as long as as long as he's able to sort of stumble his way out to the podium and,
you know, shake hands with people who aren't there, they will they will they will run with
him.
And I think there's some consternation with among Democrats.
They realize that there are weaknesses with Biden.
And so they, I think, want somebody else, but they know that they really can't get somebody

I mean, it's really that flipping simple.
It's shocking.

Breaking news shortly before we came on air that Jack Smith obtained a warrant from the Department of Justice for the names, the email addresses and all the account information of anyone who liked When I found this out, I just tweeted one thing this morning, Chris.
We are in a police state.
his trial. When I found this out I just tweeted one thing this morning Chris, we are in a
police state. Is that an exaggeration?
It is not.
It could be worse.
I want to stipulate that.
It could be worse than it is, but where we are now in this regard is not good.
And the trajectory is also quite bad.
We cannot have a situation like we had when we looked at the Twitter files a year ago, where the Department of Justice and the police power of the federal government is being used to intimidate To silence, to persecute, and ultimately to punish political dissent of any kind.
If we want to have a self-governing republic, then we have to be able to take political positions in public.
All of us, all citizens, need to have that right.
This is something, by the way, where Elon's been quite good with X.
But there's a lot of work yet to be done because the direction here is still quite dangerous.
And the intent of it is quite clear, which is to make sure that there is only one point
of view that is acceptable.
And if you have an opinion that deviates from that of the federal government, that you are
labeled an enemy of the state.
The fact that we only find out about this afterward, the fact that the DOJ did this,
provided the private information for, I presume, millions of Americans simply because they
liked a post by the former president of the United States or the then president of the
United States.
I've got to ask you the tough question, Chris.
If, God willing, we do our part and everything works correctly and we don't have massive voter fraud and President Trump comes back as the 47th president, Fixing this will not be a function of putting a new Attorney General in place.
Fixing a special counsel who has godlike powers, thinking he can just have mass warrants against American peoples without a predicate of a crime, that's, that's gonna take a lot of, um, what's the right word?
Reformation?
At least?
It takes a lot of reformation.
That's right.
I mean, because this is this is a rot that goes quite deep.
And it's you know, there's a legal problem and there's a political problem here.
But there's a there's a really important way in which this is a cultural problem, because there are a lot of people inside government and outside, too.
You see them in the media in particular, particularly who think this is acceptable.
In other words, you know, you see, you know, for instance, for instance, you know, sort of Democrat super lawyer Mark Elias tweets yesterday.
You know, a vote for RFK is no good.
A vote for Trump is no good.
A vote for Jill Stein is no good.
A vote for, you know, everybody, Cornel West is no good.
And he says, only a vote for Joe Biden is a vote for democracy.
In other words, you only get one choice.
And if you don't... Like in North Korea?
Right, exactly.
It's a democracy.
And if you get to vote for Kim Jong-un, and that's the democracy.
And if you don't, well, Then maybe their DOJ will subpoena your records and they will want to have a chat with you.

Let me read what Biden tweeted out yesterday.

Well, that's wrong to begin with because 70% of Gazans don't want Israel to exist.
So that's the first problem.
Then he went on to write, to continue down the path of terror, violence, killing and war is to give Hamas what they seek.
We can't do that.
So Robert, what Biden is saying is that Israel is going down the path of terror, violence and killing.
Well, right.
That's horrific.
What he's trying to do is suppress Israel's ability to defend itself.
Yeah.
And you're going to have David Friedman's going to be on.
You're going to have him on.
He tweeted a response to this.
He said it was wrong.
And also, Caroline Glick, she responded that, you know, Israel has to start manufacturing their own weapons.
They can't depend on the United States.

The other second horrific situation is the Beavis family.
The horrific thing, Hamas is now claiming that Shiri Beavis and the two children, Ariel Four and Kafir, who's now 10 months old, they're claiming that they're not alive anymore.
And Caroline Glick responded a number of hours ago.
Caroline Glick said, quote, Hamas has said that the Beavis family is dead.
Israel's response must be either that either Shiri, Ariel and Kapir are returned to Israel within two hours or Israel will annihilate Gaza.

I think we follow the same accounts because I saw Caroline's response today that Gaza has to be flattened.
It's hard to argue against her when the majority of the Gazans want all Israelis to be dead.

We just played the cut incredibly from his deputy talking about how the Russians have been stealing elections as if we're back in 2016.
But let's talk about their Let's talk about the Democrat accomplices in the city of Chicago.
I've been saving this for the best, and that's for you.
This is Brandon Johnson, who didn't make things better in Chicago when they got rid of The Last Crazy Democrat.
I never thought I'd hear this.
So, Chicago that had, I don't know how many people shot at the weekend, they've had 500 murders so far this year.
70 of them are women, so it's not just, you know, the male gangbangers.
70 women murdered in Chicago.
Well, let's listen to the mayor's explanation for why it's one of the murder capitals of the civilized world.

You know, what we've seen is a very raggedy form instituted by right-wing extremism.
Everyone knows that the right-wing extremism in this country has targeted democratically-ran cities, and quite frankly, they've been very intentional about going after democratically-ran cities that are led by people of color.
And their whole motivation is to create disruption and chaos.
Because that's what that particular party has been about.
This is the same political party that did not want to accept that President Obama was actually an American.
It's the same Republican right-wing extremism that stormed the Capitol.
It's the same right-wing extremism that refuses to accept the results of the Civil War.
The best part is the last one.
The right-wing extremists who refuse to accept the results of the Civil War.
You mean the one where the Republicans defeated the slave-owning Democrats?
That Civil War?
You know, I love watching these Democrats give us history lessons.
You know, it was Miguel Cardona who misquoted Ronald Reagan now, apparently.
We don't have, conservatives haven't accepted the results of the Civil War.
My goodness.
These people have so many problems to worry about in their own cities, yet everybody loves the opportunity to blame Donald Trump, Republicans, whatever they think a right-wing extremist is.
But let's just try for a second.
I know we shouldn't be trying to channel lunatics, but what could, I mean, How do you do this in public?
What could he possibly be referring to?
The right-wing supremacists who are targeting our city.
How am I?
How are you?
How is President Trump?
How is Speaker Johnson?
How exactly do you think, Jennifer, we are targeting Baltimore or Chicago or Atlanta?
What form of targeting is that?
I think we're only targeting to try to end the corruption and the crime that has taken over in those places.
You know, this gaslighting thing, though, is so insane.
It was the same thing with my governor.
I live in California.
Gavin Newsom came out right after Thanksgiving and did the same thing that Biden did and said, oh, well, inflation is just a right-wing talking point.
Hang on, hang on, hang on.
He actually said that?
Oh, yes, he said that.
It was on his Twitter account.
But it's math.
Inflation is math.
Of course it's math.
Of course.
But this is what I'm saying about gaslighting.
They come up with the most absurd thing and then say it's a right-wing talking point.
No, it's math.
It's what every single one of us feels when we go to the grocery store or to the gas station or have to buy anything in a retail environment right now.
It's not made up.
These are Democrat failures, whether it's crime, And corruption in Chicago, or it's inflation in California, or all throughout the country, that Democrats have perpetrated.
And now, instead of taking ownership, we're saying, you know what?
We'll try to fix this, guys, or maybe we'll do a better job.
No, we did nothing wrong.
It's Republicans.
When was the last time a Republican was in charge of the city of Chicago?
I mean, it's been a few years, right?
Right, right.
You mentioned gruesome Newsom, Nancy's nephew.
We were discussing this with our buddy Chris Buskirk in the last hour.
What... What is... What is the logic?
of the Newsom-DeSantis debate, because Newsom is clearly one of the most corrupt failures of a current governor, and DeSantis is the largest failure in modern history when it comes to a presidential nominee campaign.
I'm not sure, you're a master at strategic communications.
What's the logic here, Jennifer?
Well, for Ron DeSantis, it's called grasping at straws.
For Gavin Newsom, he may be all of those things that you've said, but he's also the Democrats' best chance because all of their candidates are terrible right now.
You can't think that when you put Newsom as terrible as he is next to Joe Biden, he has a pulse.
And so people look at him.
I mean, I know Democrats in my life who are salivating at the thought of Gavin Newsom because he looks like alive.
So I don't know exactly what's going to come from this debate.
I think, quite frankly, and I'm wishing no no sadness to Sean Hannity's show, but I think that there is going to be it's going to be a dud.
I think I would love to say that I wish, you know, Ron DeSantis would win this one.
But Gavin Newsom is really good.
He is slimy.
He runs all over the place.
There's a ton to take him down with.
But I don't know with what we've seen with Ron DeSantis on the primary stage with the Republican candidates that he's going to Even put a little Nick in the armor of Gavin Newsom right now.
And did you see that weird tweet?
I don't think anybody wins.
Did you see that weird tweet yesterday or this morning from Hannity where he was bragging about his friendship with Newsom?
It was weird.
Well, I think that's what we all knew was going on here, right?
I mean, when you see how buddy-buddy Hannity was with Newsom, they were way too friendly.
Hannity did not come back with the responses that would have been appropriate.
He let Newsom say a lot going unchecked.
And so obviously, to me, it looked like there was a friendship, a longstanding friendship.
And so then you have to wonder, is he doing Gavin Newsom a favor by giving him the stage with conservatives?
I don't know what the answer is here.
I don't know why we would be highlighting someone who's never going to be a presidential candidate and the guy that we don't want to be a presidential candidate.
It doesn't seem like there's any real winners from a conservative nighttime opinion show.

So their argument is this guy was on 100 hours of overtime the month that he was killed, which they said caused him not to be able to respond as quickly because he was exhausted.

Jennifer, you've got an update for us concerning the officer, Ryan Clickenbloomer, who was basically gunned down in his cruiser by someone who was apparently a mentally disturbed individual.
But there's more to this tragic story, is there not?
Yeah, the family of the deputy came out this week and remember his family is a family of law enforcement.
I think his father worked for the L.A.
Sheriff's Department.
He's come from a line of people who have worked there, but his family came out and they're filing a 20 million dollar wrongful death suit this week against the L.A.
County Board of Supervisors because, well, it's a problem that we've seen which is causing the uptick in crime around Los Angeles County, Seb, and that is That typically, at full strength, the department should have 10,300 sheriff's deputies in place and on the streets of L.A.
County.
At this point, because of the department, the Board of Supervisors, the Summer of Love, the COVID pandemic, the sheriff's department is down to somewhere around 8,500 or less deputies.
And so the family is saying that Deputy Clickenbloomer was offered or was forced into doing Mandatory overtime.
And during the month that he was killed, he had been forced into 100 hours of overtime.
And they use the word mandatory, so it makes it seem like there wasn't a choice.
We know that a lot of first responders look to overtime to help kind of bulk up their income, but that didn't seem to be the case here.
And they said that he was so exhausted and so tired that that would have slowed down his response time to try to protect himself as he was ambushed by this schizophrenic Lunatic who decided to go out one day and take out a sheriff's deputy.
So really interesting to see what happens.
The Board of Supervisors owns a lot of this for understaffing the Sheriff's Department.
They got into a big war of words with the former Sheriff Alex Villanueva.
They didn't want to hire anybody else.
They wanted to freeze everything.
And now we're dealing with the consequences and the pool because the morale of the officers are so low now.
The pool of new recruits seems to be really low, so now instead of bringing in the best of the best, they're lowering the standards to try to get more people into the Sheriff's Department to fix the problem, but it seems like the ship is already sailing.
There's going to be a huge... They're going to have to fix it, and I don't know if they have the backbone or the wherewithal to do it.
But this isn't just one outlier in one jurisdiction.
This is for most Democrat authorities in California, isn't it?
It really is.
The L.A.
Sheriff's Department is just being used as an example because of this story and also, you may have heard about this, it got national attention.
Nine suicides this year from L.A.
Sheriff's deputies, which is a far higher rate than the regular population.
There were three suicides in one week, excuse me, four suicides in one week alone.
And a lot of leadership, or at least former leadership, are coming out and saying it's because people are overworked, they're underappreciated, they have no backing from these blue city governments that love to throw the police to the wind and not actually stand with the officers that are protecting us.
And so this isn't just a problem in LA.
This is a problem in San Francisco and in Oakland and in blue cities, I would guess, throughout the entire country.
Dan Bongino has a phrase he uses with some frequency that things only change when it gets really bad and the question is, is it bad enough yet?
Is it bad enough yet in these, I mean four suicides almost concurrently?
In one week!
How bad does it have to get Jennifer?
Well, and that's just the thing.
These officers are leaving.
They're taking early retirement.
They're trying to transfer out.
And so what are we going to be left with?
We're going to be left with the people that maybe didn't make it the first time around.
We're going to be left with the people who are not the best and brightest.
And then what does that do?
That creates situations where you're going to have more distrust from the public with
law enforcement.
It seems so short-sighted for the board of supervisors to throw police under the bus
instead of saying, you know, we want the best and the brightest officers.
Maybe there's one bad police officer, but the rest of the force is great.
And instead of doing that, instead of talking about law enforcement in a positive light,
all of our elected leaders, at least in blue cities, have just decided to vilify the police,
and now we suffer the consequences.
And is it bad enough yet?
I don't know.
I hear Dan Bongino said the same thing.
I feel like we're getting there.
I think definitely you see voters who are in California going, well, wait a second, maybe this Democrat party that's been running things forever Isn't doing such a great job, particularly with Latino voters.
There's a lot of polling that indicates they're getting more and more conservative.
And I've always said, I think they're going to be the group of people that actually saves our state of California.
And remember, Rudy Giuliani in New York ran as a Republican.

Senator Tuberville is absolutely a hero in highlighting and holding up the radicalism of the Biden administration right now, that they are willing to stall all military promotions in order to enforce this extremist agenda of having abortion, taxpayer-funded abortion throughout all levels of our government.
This is an illegal attempt, what the Department of Defense has been trying to do, and pay for travel for military service women and children of military families to get abortions.
This is illegal.
It violates the spirit of many ordinances.
I'm looking at a couple right here from the DoD.
But it's unbelievable that, sadly, Senator Tuberville has been standing alone.
on the Senate floor.
In fact, some establishment Republicans, as you just mentioned, they actually came out and condemned him not too long ago.
And so really for listeners across the country, I would encourage you call Senator Dan Sullivan, Senator Lindsey Graham, Senator Joni Ernst, and demand that your senator stand with Senator Tuberville right now, because the pressure is on.
But what he has done is he's been upholding the law and exposing the radicalism of the Biden administration.
Yeah, I don't think Lindsey Graham's going to stop being a rhino, but at least you can let your voice be heard.
So call your senators so that they support Senator Turbeville in stopping the woke pro-abortion lunatics, the radicals in the Biden administration.
And sadly, inside the Department of Defense. All right, let's put this
post up on the screen that you sent me a few days ago. Very interesting
headline. The Democratic Party has four not-so-secret ways they could replace
President Biden and all of them would be very bad for the unborn. Correct, Kristen?
That is absolutely true.
We know President Biden is trailing in the polls to President Trump.
He's even trailing in the polls to President Trump when it comes to the youth vote, the largest demographic in our country, and quite sadly, the most liberal demographic in our country.
But what many people don't know is there's a lot of different ways Democrats have been talking about the future of the presidency and their party and their leadership.
You know, the first way is obviously Joe Biden to lose the presidential primary.
The second could be at the convention where the delegates who pledged to support President Biden don't, and an attempt is made at the convention to Switch out the party's candidate, which, by the way, we know the candidate we will get will be just as bad on abortion, 100% pro-abortion, even against infanticide of children, just like Joe Biden.
The third way would be Biden resigning after the primary, after he secured his party's nomination, The DNC Convention Procedure Rules actually states that the party, through the party's own leadership, could appoint a replacement.
I think that's their most likely scenario there.
And then also the fourth one would be President Biden just dropping Kamala Harris, who really hasn't been doing much for him in the polls since he selected her and choosing his successor right now.
And then what are the consequences if any one of those four pathways are used for pro-life in America?
Well, I mean, when you think about the replacement candidates, the names that are coming up in the conversations in Washington and out of the mouth of the pundits are abortion radicals.
Gavin Newsom, Gretchen Whitmer, who just in Michigan She signed into law 12 pro-abortion laws.
One law that's so extreme that it legalizes partial birth abortion back in Michigan if our federal partial birth abortion ban is repealed.
It was the most extreme package.
And then you also have the Illinois governor, J.B.
Pritzker, who has launched his own PAC to advocate for these extreme abortion ballot referendums.
These are not Just simply Democratic operatives who are pro-abortion.
These are pro-abortion activists who've run for office and who are ideologues on this issue.
We can't let that happen.
We've got to be bravely supporting the life of the unborn across America.

After five years of doing this, I thought I'd seen it all, that my mind has been boggled, my ghast has been flabbered far too many times.
But I was wrong.
To have the current incumbent of the White House make the slaughter of 1,400 innocents about himself?
What kind of human being does that?
What's the truth about what happened almost 60 days ago in the Middle East?
Who's responsible?
How do we deal with it?
And can the historic Abraham Accords be resurrected after the election of 2024?
Let's talk to the man who has all the answers because he was there at the creation, the President's man in Jerusalem, a good friend of America First, Ambassador David Friedman.

Good to be with you again.
Can I just start with this?
I know you've seen the President recently.
You're going to share with us his reaction to the events in Israel.
But just your response to just that statement from the White House that the October 7th attacks occurred because the Biden administration was going to close the peace deal in the Middle East.
You know, he began by saying, I can't prove this.
And that's because there is no proof.
There's no evidence that that's the case.
And frankly, if there had been evidence, given the intelligence gathering capabilities of America and Israel, there would be some evidence.
Here's the facts.
The facts are that Hamas was planning this attack for two years, long before the words Israel and Saudi Arabia were ever put together in the same sentence by Joe Biden.
And the reason why Hamas succeeded on October 7, and not any other day before, It's because that's the day they succeeded.
They've been trying to do it every day of Hamas's existence.
Hamas's charter requires that they kill every Jew in Israel and elsewhere, as well.
When they finish the Jews, come after everybody else, as well.
They succeeded because they—they succeeded because, unfortunately, there was a colossal failure in the intelligence and the defense establishment within Israel.
And they got through a fence that hadn't been breached despite many, many, many attempts over the last 50 years.
That's Hamas.
Whenever they would have gotten through, they would have gotten through.
It had nothing to do with Joe Biden or Saudi Arabia.
It had to do with the singular goal of Hamas to destroy Israel, the Jewish people, and then the rest of the free world.
Let's remind everybody what you and the President's team, Jared and Jason, achieved.
You've chronicled all of it in your book, Sledgehammer, that I warmly recommend to everybody.
breaking with the past brought peace to the Middle East.
I've recounted here in front of my listeners how when the President Son-in-law was given
that thankless task of being the man to broker peace, I said to Jared, I said, Jared, look,
I've been doing national security for more than 20 years.
Can I give you a briefing on who the bad guys are, who the good guys are, how the IDF functions?
And he said to me, Seb, I really appreciate it, but I've got to learn for myself.
I've got to take the brick bats and find out for myself.
And I said, OK, Jack, it's going to be painful.
But off you go.
And off he did.
And with your assistance, with Jason and the president's backing, you guys closed the deal.
So everybody needs to read Sledgehammer.
But Ambassador Friedman, can you explain How you did what you did, how it was a jettisoning of how we did things in the past or how the swamp did things, and just the historic significance of the Accords.
Well, the Accords, and I think, you know, I think, to put it best, was the foreign minister of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah.
The way he describes the Accords is this way.
He says that with some notable exceptions like Russia and Ukraine.
The battles of the 21st century are not battles between countries, they're battles within countries of competing ideologies.
It's, for example, the conflict between radical Islamic extremists and the Islamic moderates and the rest of the moderates around the world.
Now look, we have that problem in America, we have that problem in the UAE, in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, you have it in Israel.
And the Abraham Accords was a victory for the moderates over the extremists.
That's what it really represents at its core.
And that's why it's still around today.
That's why these accords are holding.
Because the Gulf countries and Morocco understand that Israel is engaged in a battle with an enemy.
That's the same enemy of all of them.
It's the radical Islamists that threaten Israel, but they also threaten the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, and elsewhere.
So that's the Abraham Accords, and that's where they're going to hold, because the competing conflicts that continue to exist today are the ones that the Abraham Accords collectively seeks to address.
So, you know, that's the good news.
I mean, the bad news is that For some reason, our own country, both the Biden administration and a number of elected leaders don't appreciate that.
They think that somehow the way to solve the battle of Islamic extremism is to hand over land to those extremists, to give them the opportunity for statehood, to allow them to build an army, to build further infrastructure to harm those of us in the moderate world.
And they couldn't be more wrong.
How much of that success with multiple nations in a very truncated period of time, how much was that a function directly of who the man at the resolute desk in the Oval Office was?
Oh, it was the single most important factor.
Look, you know, I was with President Trump a couple of days ago.
We talked about this.
And, you know, the one thing above all else that I always admired about him was his ability to read an adversary.
You know, his instincts are superb when it comes to sizing up the people he's dealing with.
And, you know, when I met with him, you know, a couple of days ago, the first thing he said to me is, you know, he was deeply moved by the footage.
You know, he had seen a lot of the footage of what happened on October 7th.
And, you know, his reaction was, look, you cannot make a deal with these people.
You just can't.
It's not possible.
These are bloodthirsty, barbaric, you know, subhuman beings.
I'm not quoting him.
I'm just, that was the gist of what he said.
And I think he, I think he recognized what, you know, what I've recognized for years, having been on the ground there, but we've talked about that in the past.
There are people within the Muslim world who can be great friends of America and great friends of Israel, and we need to embrace them.
And we need to, you know, advance what we do with the Abraham Accords.
There are others who threaten the moderate Muslim world, who threaten Israel.
And there's just not a negotiation there to be had.
There's not anything other than conquest, defeat, that's going to make this area a safer place.
And I think President Trump recognizes that.
He recognized that in our defeat of ISIS.
I think he recognized that and not cutting and running on Afghanistan the way Biden did.
I think he recognized that in his incredibly successful and important attack on Qasem Soleimani, where he assassinated, you know, the world's greatest, most lethal terrorist.
He sent all the right signals and his actions back that up.
And that's why we didn't have any wars, any new wars, during his four years of his presidency.
And that's why we actually—not only do we have no wars, but we actually made peace between Israel and the moderate Sunni nations.
That was the president's approach from the day he got into office.

Bernie Sanders wants to condition aid to Israel, our most important ally in the Middle East and the only democracy, a nation which is fighting for its very existence and doing all it can, more than any other nation at war, to avoid civilian casualties.

Instead, how about conditioning USA to UNRRA, which President Trump ended but Biden restored?
Until it ends, the practice of teaching Palestinians to hate Jews.
Ambassador Friedman, how did we arrive at a point where we don't have moral clarity on these issues amongst the political elite of the nation?
It's incredibly disturbing, but it's one thing for, you know, idiot 20-year-olds on university campus to shout from the river to the sea and not realize that's actually a call for genocide, but for the senator from Vermont to say that Somehow, we should be weakening Israel's capacity to fight for its very survival?
First of all, imagine this.
They're in the middle of a war, a war for their very existence.
They depend heavily now on American assistance.
It's their most important, sometimes their only ally in the entire world.
And as they're fighting this war, they're going to have to bring along a bunch of lawyers to tell them whether or not what they're doing is consistent with whatever, you know, the restrictions, the legalese that Bernie Sanders wants to put on the on the funds.
I mean, this is just not the right time for it.
And at the same time, you know, where America is financing, it's financing, not
just financing, you know, Hamas, but financing the Hamas ideology. You know, we cut off
funding to UNRWA as soon as we saw.
I agree. Let's see, for those who aren't familiar with the diplomatic terms, what is UNRWA?
UNRWA is a fund, it's an organization created by the United Nations that's purpose is to resettle
refugees.
Now, among other things, it is the oldest refugee organization in the world.
Almost every other refugee organization finishes its work in about four or five years.
Unruh has been around since the 1950s, right?
It exists not only to And it's the only one of its ilk, I was doing some research on it, where you have multiple generations of individuals who are all deemed to be refugees.

Now, a typical third grade play sponsored by UNRRA, you take half the kids and you dress them up as Jews.
You put them on, you know, yarmulkes, and sometimes they put on, you know, big noses just to be, you know, especially insulting.
And then the other half dresses up as Hamas terrorists, and they give them these fake rifles.
And the terrorists all shoot the Jews.
The Jews lie down on the floor, dead, and the parents get up and applaud.
I mean, this is what America is spending its money on.
We cut it out.
As soon as we saw that, you know, again, President Trump doesn't take he gets it, you know, on the first, you know, gets it on the first take, you know, he immediately understood this is not a place where America should be investing its taxpayer dollars.
So we cut it out.
Now, as soon as we left office, the Biden administration restored it.
And so America is funding What's a more cynical practice than that?
What is a less appropriate use of hard-earned taxpayer dollars than UNRWA?
And, of course, we're funding it now in greater amounts than even the Obama administration.
I mean, it's shameful.
And it explains why the latest polling from Gaza finds that more than two-thirds of the populace, not Hamas members, two-thirds of the populace agree that Israel has no right to exist.

Ambassador I'm gonna ask you to do something a little bit different.
You were literally, because that's how it works, the president's representative to Israel at a time when he kept the promise that three other presidents had broken, moving the embassy to Jerusalem and recognizing Jerusalem.
It must have been an amazing time for you to be the representative of what I consider to be.
Or who I consider to be the most philo-semitic president since the re-creation, the re-establishment of Israel in 1948.
But let me share with you a story.
When we took our listeners to Israel last year, we had an amazing, such an impressive young man as our guide to the excavations of the city of David under Jerusalem.
A stunning visit.
And he said something to me Because he does a lot of relations with Congress.
He comes here, he lobbies on behalf of the excavation, the antiquities, and he said, he said, you have to understand, Sebastian, what it's like to be an Israeli, or what it's like to be Israel in the last 10 years.
Because we look at America, and we think you're a schizophrenic.
For eight years under Obama, you treated us like lepers.
You created the Iran deal to give aid and soccer to Iran.
And then along comes President Trump, and he's moving the embassy, recognizing Jerusalem.
I guess you can sympathize with our Israeli brethren, thinking that official America is rather bipolar.
Yeah, by the way, I think you're talking about my friend Zev Orenstein, who was at my house yesterday, by the way.
Oh my gosh, I am indeed.
I'm talking about Zev, a very, very, very talented young man.
Yeah, so he was by yesterday.
We had a drink together.
But you know what?
You're absolutely right.
The perspective from Israel of Obama and then Trump and then Biden is somewhat schizophrenic.
But isn't that true of almost every other aspect of America as well?
I mean, we go from open border to closed border to open border.
We go from, you know, lousy economy to great economy to lousy economy.
We go from low inflation to high inflation.
You know, I mean, it just seems that everything that that could go wrong has gone wrong.
Since President Trump left office under the new administration.
And so, yeah, it's true of Israel, but it's true of almost the entire world that it shows you how consequential the American president is.
He can make the world a far better, safer, more prosperous place, or he can do exactly the opposite.
And unfortunately, our collective choice in 2020 has led us to where we are today.
Yeah, I'll add one more story, and I think we should get Zev on the show.
He gave us this private tour, long tour, like maybe an hour and a half, two hours, and walking from one half of the excavation to another, we passed a kindergarten.
And he very subtly or unsubtly stopped our group there in front of this place where, you know, young kids learn to love America, learn to love Israel, and he said, why is it that it looks as if you're teaching your children to hate America?
It was hard, hard To say anything to him in response, and doubly so after what we've witnessed in the last six weeks in America, when we see Jewish, Jewish students ambassador ripping down the posters at Boston College of kidnapped Israeli children.
Very, very hard to gainsay what Zev said to us.
Look, we've failed our kids.
I mean, there's no other way to put it.
We have failed.
We have.
I mean, I'm not just to be clear, I'm not speaking about my five kids who are great and nothing like that at all.
But as a as a as a nation, we failed our kids.
Look at the look at the future leaders of our country coming out of the most elite universities.
Right.
I mean, college students have always been dumb, right?
I mean, being dumb as a college student is not particularly noteworthy, but so dumb and
so ignorant and so unwilling to consider critically, you know, any narrative.
I mean, they just accept the narratives that fit within their own biases and no willingness,
notwithstanding these universities all standing for critical theory and critical analysis
and discourse.

It was certainly a day I was taken emotionally.
Difficult day to see the places where people were murdered.
I just did a talk with the Prime Minister and I think there's, I mean, obviously there are three things that need to happen in the Gaza situation.
I mean, there's no choice but to kill those who insist on murdering civilians.

Maybe I've missed it, but I haven't seen the kind of outpouring of support for Israel and its existential crisis that I would have hoped for.
So, yeah, look, there's been a lot, way too much silence from the Twitterverse or from the social media world, from TikTok.
I mean, it's and it's enabled what it's enabled.
You know, did you see that what happened in Oakland last night?
I was going to mention it.
The idea that Oakland County Council, Oakland, is demanding a permanent ceasefire in the Middle East when it's one of the most violent parts of California.
It's commode dell'arte.

Commodore de la Harte. It's absurdity.
And, you know, one person after another is getting up and saying,
the rapes never happened, the beheadings never happened, the slaughter never happened.
This is all either a complete, you know, conspiracy or Israel itself committed these atrocities on its own citizens.
Now, imagine what it's like, you know, living in Israel, seeing these people come out and say these kinds of things.
Now, I just put out a tweet.
I said, look, you folks on the squad, who these people seem to admire, You know, we're not going to agree on what flows.
from those atrocities.
But you guys all have, you know, congressional access to information.
You know these things happened.
You know with certainty that these atrocities occurred.
Get out with your megaphones and at least say Israel suffered these atrocities and there is no excuse for them.
They should be condemned.
You want to talk about, you know, your politics later, but don't allow this ever-growing population to get away with denying What effect does all of this have on the state of the Israel ambassador?
I trust that they will do what needs to be done.
They will crush their enemies, salt the earth.
painful for the Israelis and for the victims in particular.

To some extent it makes them even more determined because, you know, if there's no one coming
to their assistance, they just hunker down and recognize that they have to do it themselves.
Look.
There's not going to be another Holocaust.
And the people of Israel, whatever failures were committed by the government of Israel that led to this, and they were serious failures, and they're going to have to be addressed when this is all over.
The people of Israel are amazing.
They are rising to the occasion.
Those who can fight are fighting.
Those who are too old to fight or are not able to fight are doing something.
The amount of public service within that country right now is getting close to 100%.
Everybody's doing something.
And they're going to persevere because they are made of the substance that's necessary to defeat Hamas.
With or without the United States, but what a shame, what a tragedy if America is not there by their side.
Because not only is it morally the right thing to do, but it's essential to our own national security as well.
Yeah, just the initial figures after October the 7th were so incredibly heartwarming that the reservists, they had something like a 150% mobilization rate because, you know, guys in their 50s and 60s who are, you know, not required to serve were saying, I want to kill terrorists, I want justice for Israel.
That's as it should be.
Irrespective of political color, that's how it should work.

We have to have patience and we can't ask Israel to do something you know, precipitously. They have to root out Hamas
completely. And it's not just it's not going to happen in a month. It's not going to happen in two
months. What we need to do in America, we need to provide a carrot and a stick to the
Palestinian population.
We need to say okay.
All you folks that want to kill kill Israelis or you want to kill America.
And so you want to continue this fight.
That's fine.
Israel is going to kill you first.
Okay, we're not going to I'm not going to continue not going to negotiate with you.
You guys want to kill Israel.
We're going to tell Israel kill you first the rest of you and we hope that's a large portion of you the rest of you that wants to Live in peace.
Let's work on a way to build infrastructure, to build schools, to build hospitals, to build industry, so you can live with a level of dignity that's common to the Israeli Arab citizens.
But not schools where they teach the children to be terrorists.
