Hey everybody, Mike Pence here.
Remember $2 a gallon gas?
I do.
And then Joe Biden became President of the United States and launched his war on energy.
Since that time, gasoline prices are up 60%.
Electricity prices are up 25%.
Joe Biden's war on energy is causing real hardship for working families, small businesses, and family farms.
But we've got a plan to relieve all of that.
We just unveiled the Pence energy plan that will not only put our country back on a path to energy independence, but by 2040 we will reclaim America's role as the leading producer of energy in the world.
Join us in the fight for American energy leadership by going to MikePence2024.com.
We can lead the world once again to a more prosperous and a secure future for America with energy independence and American energy leadership.
That's Mike Pence's new campaign ad with a bright, shiny red pickup truck.
He stops at the gas station, pulls out the nozzle, shoves it into the gas tank, fill a cap, and, uh... Well, he doesn't... fill the tank with any gas.
Um, you may have heard something beeping in the background.
Jeff, can you explain to those millions listening across the nation, um, why Mike Pence was doing, um, make-believe there?
I was watching, I was trying to pay attention to all the things that were wrong with it.
Like you said, he gets out, he doesn't put his credit card in, which you have to do to be able to pump gas.
Well, either you have to go into the gas station and give him cash, right?
I mean, I've done this a few, I think I've done this a couple of times.
I actually bought gas a few times in my life.
Or you have to swipe your credit card in the thing.
He does neither of them.
Then what does he do?
Well, here's the other thing too.
He keeps his hand on the pump the entire time.
Unless you're at, like, a completely run-down gas station.
They have the little clip there that will actually hold it.
He sits there and pretends he's pumping it the whole time.
And then the beeping that wasn't a tractor-trailer behind him going in reverse, it's because he didn't pay.
That's to alert you.
And how on earth they decided to post that with 54 beeps in there is unbelievable.
It's just... Eric, help me out here.
I don't know.
So you're the former vice president How do you, how do you, do you, are you so isolated that you've never actually put gas in a vehicle or you think everybody watching you is so dumb because you can't, he must know, doesn't he know that you can't roll up to a pump and take out the gun and start filling your truck or does that just mean he's never done it in his life?
It's definitely an elitist thing.
I mean, yeah, like Jeff said, he was governor and then went straight from being governor to vice president.
But it also shows just how out of touch he is.
His whole campaign feels like it was transported through time from 1988.
Not just that ad, but even people pointing out, even his campaign logo, just the font and everything.
It looks like it could have been something used by Dukakis or Gary Hart.
I just, I...
Okay, now that we've pointed out the problem, number one, he drives up, gets out, he's got a lovely microphone sticking out of his lovely, you know, pink shirt.
He grabs the gun from the gas pump, shoves it in the pickup truck, doesn't scan his card, hasn't given anybody any cash, and then pretends, pretends to be filling the tank as you hear the beep, the beep in the back, which, you know what the beep means?
The beep means, put your card in The Slot Reader.
Put your card in the slot.
It keeps me big!
And this is his campaign ad!
Somebody had to... A strategic communications firm had to say, yeah, this is the ad, and approve it, and then buy the TV time to play it.
Mind-numbing.
We gotta play it.
This is... Whatever happened to you, Mike?
Because you are... This is Swamp Beyond Swamp Beyond Swamp and elitism upon elitism.
Play it again, Eric.
Hey everybody, Mike Pence here.
Remember $2 a gallon gas?
I do.
And then Joe Biden became President of the United States and launched his war on energy.

We can lead the world once again to a more prosperous and a secure future for America with energy independence and American energy leadership.
The first line there, Jeff.
He actually... He says, do you remember when gas was two bucks a gallon?
Jeff, I do.
Who was the president?
That's what I thought.
Even if he didn't screw this up, this is more of a campaign ad for Trump.
It's showing that how great energy prices were the four years were there.
So who would you want to vote for then?
The guy that actually did it, or the guy that was just a vice president that did nothing that time?
Yeah, do you want the guy who actually did it, or do you want the guy who went to the state funerals that the president didn't want to go to?
I mean, it's not a difficult choice.
All right, let's talk about the guy who's in the White House right now.
Was this yesterday when Ducey asked the question, Jeff, of Biden?
Yeah, it was late afternoon.
Okay, late afternoon.
The first, maybe the only reporter who's going to do this.
We have the evidence now.
Not only do we have the first 5 million each for Hunter and for Papa, now we have 20 million in various shell companies.
Then we have the money from the Chinese executive that is wired to Hunter's account and we find out the next day he uses exactly that amount, $20,000 or something to buy himself a Porsche. So basically,
you know, the Chinese government is buying Hunter Biden a Porsche and and then
Doocy says Mr. President any reaction and
well, it's interesting because Joe doesn't deny it cut one
There's this testimony now where one of your son's former business associates is claiming that you
We're on speakerphone a lot with them talking business.
Is that what?
I've never talked business with anyone.
And I knew you'd have a lousy question.
Well, why is that a lousy question?
Because it's not true.
Thank you, Mr. President.
A lousy question, of course.
Oh, and it's superb that the music in the background is, you know, the Liberty March, the Liberty Bell March, which is associated with who?
Monty Python, of course.
It's the absurdest stand of having a man we know is corrupt.
And that reaction, what a dumb question.
Yeah, but can you deny it?
No, you can't.
You're a petulant little child, which is pretty much the observation of a great media analyst, Fox regular Joe Concha's take on Joe Biden's reaction to Peter Doocy.
And here you have the sitting president of the United States answering like a jilted teenager who just got caught cheating on a test.
I mean, every reporter that covers Joe Biden should be following up on questions like these every time he provides the opportunity to do so, which is rare.
I mean, this is the president who has not held a solo press conference on U.S.
soil since November.
He simply cannot answer anything outside of a teleprompter, and especially as it pertains to the Biden bribery scandal, which are not going away as long as the GOP controls the House.
We were told that this would be, remember, the most transparent presidential administration in history.
So transparent that Joe actually has the receipts.
I mean, Joe Concha.
This individual, the quote-unquote leader of the free world, what a shocking concept, hasn't given a press conference, a stand-alone press conference, since November.
It's August.
Since November.
This, the most transparent administration in history, has just decided to revoke 430 press passes to the White House.
We tried to get rid of one guy because he wanted to fight me in the Rose Garden.
Remember Brian Karem?
And a judge said, no, no, no, no, he may want to, you know, get into fisticuffs with Gawker in the Rose Garden, but you've got to give him his press pass back.
And now Biden's revoking 430 of them?
Yeah, I think we know what's going on.
I'm Sebastian Gawker.
It's Thursday.

Mike Pence, probably.
You win for that one, Scooter.
Yep, he's on.
Yo, what's up?
How you doing, buddy?
Doing well, how are you Dr. G?
Where did we find you today?
I'm in Florida right now, but I'm going up to D.C.
this weekend for a few days and then to Boston for a few weeks.
So, I've got a couple weddings up in Boston.
Fun!
Bingtown!
Yeah, so, yup, that's my home state.
I know!
It's sad what happened to that state, but yeah, I haven't been back in a while.
I usually go back like once a year or so, but yeah, a buddy of mine from when I was Yeah, so a buddy of mine from growing up, I mean I grew up there my whole life until high school, so a buddy of mine from growing up is getting married next weekend, so I'm going to that, and then I've got another wedding also in Massachusetts two weeks later, so I'm just going to drive up from Florida and then do the whole East Coast thing and stay for two weeks because it's easier than just flying back and forth twice.
That is a long drive.
Yeah, but it's not that bad.
So I'm going to hit D.C.
in the way both ways.
So I'm going to be in D.C.
for a few days early next week and then make the rest of the way.
So it's not that bad.
Alright, well if you want to come in studio, tell us.
Yeah, I already worked that out with Jeff, so I'm going to come in on Tuesday.
Perfect, perfect, perfect.
Alright, I want to talk about DeSantis, play a cut from the president, Chris Christie, what are you working on?
I'm working on a lot of different things.
I just finished.
Oh, by the way, it's Monday next week, not Tuesday.
But yeah, I just finished rolling out all my Trump interview and all that stuff.
So we just did a big story on the Trump finances, campaign finances.
Interesting.
Last night, which was pretty good.
It's a lot better for Trump than the media made it sound.
Good.
All right.
Standby.
All right, I'm going to...
I'm going to...
Thank you.
I don't know how many of my tens of thousands of miles I've traveled through war zones.
Excuse me?
Tens of thousands of miles?
He's traveled tens of thousands of miles through war zones?
What, during World War II maybe?
No, not since you were a senator.
That is, of course, the current incumbent of the White House.
We're going to get to your calls after our first guest.
Don't go anywhere.
Klaus Mark Victor, the number.
Let's have some ladies call in.
833-33 Gorka.
833-333-GORKA that's 833-334-6752 coming to you from Refactor.com studios.
That's 833-334-6752.
I'm sure you've seen the awful footage from Hawaii.
36 people died.
Keep the families in your prayers of those who are still suffering, who have lost homes.
If you want to do some good in the world, let's find a charity we can support in Hawaii.
But in the meantime, we are in the midst of our Food for the Poor campaign.
Listen to this incredible story of how you express love for those that you are helping with your donations.
This is from Marsha who's on the ground in St.
Lucia with a beautiful expression of what you are doing.
We were able to charter a boat, fill it with some Food for the Poor relief supplies.
The persons we were in need of, etched in my memory, was a sense of relief on the faces of the recipients.
And the words that they spoke, they said, we have not been abandoned.
We are not alone.
You have come to us.
Food for the Poor's donations and love was felt by the persons who had been adversely impacted.
They feel your love through your donations.
It's one of the most amazing things you can do.
It's super easy to help.
You know, a donation of $100 can save a life.
But whatever you can give, $10, $20 makes a difference.
You can text my name to 81999 or just call the Food for the Poor team at 855-330-HOPE.
That's 855-330-4673, or text the word G-O-R-K-A to 81999.
Or, perhaps the easiest of all is just to go to my website, sebgawker.com, and click on the Emergency Food for the Poor Relief Supply banner at the top.
That's S-E-B-G-O-R-K-A, sebgawker.com, and the Emergency Relief Supply banner at the top.
God bless every single one of you.
It's that time of the week.
We have to check in.
Oh, the call board is now full.
Thank you, Gina.
Thank you, Phil.
Don't go anywhere.
We've got to check in with the conservative juggernaut that is Breitbart.com and their chief of all things swampy.
He is the Washington bureau chief, a good friend of America First.
Welcome back, Matt Boyle.
Dr. G, always a pleasure.
Great to be here again.
Well, I have to congratulate my Newsmax buddy, Eric Bolling, who was in Mar-a-Lago, had a great, great interview with the 45th President of the United States, and he had something to say about the governor of Florida.
I want your take on everything that's happening in the primary race.
We are a week away from the first debate.
This is President Trump, yesterday on Newsmax.
This is Cutsix.
DeSantis is a failed candidate.
If I didn't endorse DeSantis, he wouldn't have ever won.
He was out.
Then I endorsed him, and he went up and he was able to win.
He went up massively in one night after I endorsed him.
But he was a failed candidate.
And you know what?
He's a failed candidate again.
He's got no personality.
He's got nothing going.
And he's dropped like a rock.
I don't even think he's going to be two-number long.
I mean, somebody's going to come along like maybe Tim Scott or somebody and probably take
his place.
And probably this stops him in 28.
You know, he could have walked into 28 maybe.
So in your history of covering, I mean, you've been doing this for a while, Matt.
Have you ever seen a campaign that was doing so well implode so rapidly as the Floridian
governor?
No, I've never seen anything like this before.
And I think that it's a testament to how weak he is as a candidate.
And I think President Trump is exactly right about that.
I think DeSantis let some of the fame and fortune and the attention go to his head a little bit.
And he thought that he's a lot stronger than he actually is.
But it was entirely because Trump endorsed him in 2018.
that he won the governor's race. There's no doubt about that. He barely won the general election.
And he, you know, won the primary big, but that was because Trump endorsed him. He was actually
losing by bigger before Trump endorsed him. And then later in 2022, I just think a confluence
of circumstances led to DeSantis' big election victory in Florida. And also, you got to keep
in mind, Marco Rubio, the US senator from Florida, won by nearly just as big as DeSantis. And Florida
hasn't elected a Democrat as governor in decades, right?
Like, I think the last time was in the early 1990s, and they got the last Democrat to win.
a governor's race in Florida actually switch parties, join the Republican Party once he
got into office, right?
So it's been a really, really long time since a Democrat won.
And in fact, DeSantis' election night victory in 2022 was only slightly better than Jeb
Bush's re-election victory.
So it's just the, I think President Trump is onto something there.
I think that there were a lot of people who had all these sorts of assumptions and DeSantis
was kind of on a honeymoon from a lot of the right in that people were not challenging
him on any major issues.
He was living in a little bubble over in Tallahassee, and now that he entered the Thunderdome and decided to run for president, and he's hitting the national stage, people are realizing that the fantasy around DeSantis, or a DeSantis-y, if you will, is not reality, right?
Like, in reality...
Let's invent a new word live on radio, a DeSantis-y, the DeSantis fantasy.
What do you put it down to?
Because I don't think firing half of his campaign staff is going to save him.
What do you think is the political or the strategic communications reason for this floundering campaign?
Well, look, if I were DeSantis, earlier this year, I would have not run, right?
Like, I would have done what President Trump was talking about there in that interview clip, which was fantastic work by Eric Bolling with that interview with President Trump.
I watched a lot of it last night.
But the point is that if he waited, he probably could have learned a lot more.
He could have honed his skills.
He would have been able to be better prepared for a run down the road.
It's not too late to walk away now and save the money that he's got and do so.
I don't know if his pride will let him do that or if his wife will let him do that but the point is is that if I were DeSantis I would pack it up and I would walk away now because on the current trajectory he will not have the money to run a sustained campaign through the primary next year and he will not have a a real shot at actually winning the nomination. So it would
be much smarter for DeSantis to pack it up, walk away, and then reconsider down the road and
then try to rehabilitate his position with the MAGA team. I don't know if he'll be able
to do that.
We might have crossed a Rubicon here. That's kind of what Trump was going to do.
That B-roll doesn't make sense, guys. I don't need a Twitter space B-roll when I'm talking to Matt,
either DeSantis or President Trump. The really sad thing, as I guess, from his perspective,
is that he shot his...
is on.
opportunity for being a success in 2028. I mean, if he hadn't done this, or he'd come in supportive
of President Trump, maybe as a potential cabinet member, then it's completely different. Now,
with this disastrous launch and then a disastrous campaign, who's going to be able to rebuild that
if he actually wants to run for president in 2028?
So, not a sterling success in any way, shape or form.

We are back with Matt Boyle, Washington Bureau Chief for Breitbart.com.
In the interview, in my buddy Eric Bolling's interview with President Trump yesterday on Newsmax, he tried his best to get President Trump to say whether he's going to the first debate in Iowa.
He told Eric, I've made my decision and you'll find out.
What's your political analysis?
Should he be there amongst the minnows or wait?
Well, first off, I don't think President Trump should go on that stage on Fox News.
And I talked to Trump about this in my interview, too.
And actually, I do think he actually gave Eric Bolling the answer.
I think he told Eric Bolling he's not going because he said he wouldn't sign the pledge.
That's a candidate requirement from the RNC to go on to that debate stage.
And so because President Trump said, at this point in time, he's not going to sign that pledge, that would be the answer right there.
Unless he signs it in the next couple of days.
Right, exactly.
But I don't think that he's going to before August 23rd.
He might before the second or third debate, I don't know.
But the point is that, first of all, Trump is leading by so much, it's not even funny.
I got some historical numbers here, okay?
This is the RealClearPolitics average of where candidates were.
were. In 2015 Donald Trump, on this day in history in 2015, Donald Trump led by 11.8%.
In 2011 Mitt Romney led by 5.8%.
In 2007, one year where this didn't work out for the leading candidate at this point in time, Rudy Giuliani actually led by 10.3% obviously.
John McCain made a comeback and won.
But here's the deal, just to show you how dominant Trump is, in 2023, today, Donald Trump leads by an average of 39.1%.
Okay?
So that's 30 points better than he led by Yeah.
in 2015. Why would you ever, ever give somebody who's not a fat pig like Chris Christie a shot
at you on that debate stage? I wouldn't do it. President Trump said to me when I talked to him
about this is that he said there are going to be hostile people on the stage, meaning the
other candidates and the moderators, and it would be on a hostile network, which is Fox News.
Why would you give them a chance to change the trajectory of this? Not only that, not only that,
I hold in my hand the terms distributed regarding the debate by Fox News.
And they are shocking.
And I'm going to share this with millions of people right now.
Here's two segments regarding whether or not you are allowed to use it as a broadcaster.
Segment two.
During the seven-day period described in paragraph four, which is the seven days after the debate, you may not air more than a total of three minutes of excerpts from the debate in any program, including video and audio.
Never done before, Matt.
This is straight from Fox.
Requirement number four.
Under no circumstances may an excerpt of the debate or portions thereof be used beyond the seven-day period beginning August 23rd.
No archiving is permitted.
Fox has gone full fascist man.
Yeah, well look, they don't want that, because here's why.
Their candidate, Rupert Murdoch's candidate, Paul Ryan's candidate, and Jeb Bush's candidate, Ron DeSantis, is going to have a horrible debate, and they know it, because he's not that good at it, right?
So what they're doing is they're going to try to deep-six the footage and keep it from being used against him later, because they know that he's not doing so well.
According to ABC News, there was a report yesterday that DeSantis has been doing debate prep weekly with a guy named Brett O'Donnell.
I actually know Brett, he's a D.C.
guy, he works with a ton of great senators and congressmen and whatnot, but apparently he's been doing DeSantis' debate prep.
And what they're doing is they're preparing for an onslaught, is their word, not mine, from all the other candidates on the stage because of what That clip you were talking about there that we played during the break of Chris Christie, they all view it as DeSantis is the guy they have to get past to get their shot at Trump, right?
And DeSantis is already kind of sliding behind some of them or equal with some of them in some places or some national polling or whatever, but the point is that I think that the Murdochs understand that their candidate is going to have an awful debate most likely.
These conditions are absolutely outrageous.
This isn't the NFL.
This is a presidential debate, Fox.
You are trying to control the information that the American voters have a right to.
Fox is crashing.

I'm going to use a thin liner.
Mitch McConnell is from your same state.
I'm sure you know him quite well.
He says we should not be looking to impeach Joe Biden after seeing all of this.
This is not impeachable.
What planet is Mitch McConnell on right now?
Well, I would certainly vote to impeach, and I think we've seen that there's already been a whole lot more wrongdoing proven on Joe Biden than ever was with Donald Trump with that first impeachment with respect to him just asking about corruption in Ukraine.
That's Congressman James Comer with my buddy from Newsmax, Rob Schmidt.
What?
Why?
It's a really good question.
Why does Mitch McConnell not want President Biden impeached?
Yeah, makes you wonder, doesn't it?
Don't go anywhere.
We're going to get to your calls momentarily.

Yeah, I was on Bluetooth so I could read some notes, but I can jot them from memory now.
All right.
So, we've been talking about presidential candidates.

I want to talk about Larry Elder.
Okay, go ahead.
You mean my former Salem colleague, Larry Elder?
Yes, and a sage to many, a father figure to many as well.
So this is the case for the millions of listeners right now.
I was blessed to have and then a loving, active, involved father in my home.
Seb, you had an active father and loving father in your home, and so did Larry.
Right now we're at a crisis where children do not have fathers, let alone father figures.
Larry is just, you know, the odds of him winning the presidential Republican candidacy is very
slim.
I think he's even made the debate stage, so no, yeah, go ahead.
No, no it's not.
And I...
Want him to get at least on the stage to make the case for the fatherless homes and school choice problems that are going on in this country.
Everyone can donate $1 to LarryElder.com to get at least get him on the stage to make this these points across and then the leading candidate Hopefully, if they have integrity, we'll carry on those issues.
Do you know how far behind Larry is right now?
I don't know.
He sounded pretty desperate when he was talking to Dennis this morning.
All right.
I'll reach out to him.
He's a good guy.
Larryelder.com.
It'd be nice to have the cat amongst the pigeons.
If President Trump won't be there, maybe Larry Elder can stir things up a bit.
Thank you, Klaus.
Larryelder.com.
Let's go to Mark Lancaster, PA.
Hi, Dr. Gorka.
How you doing?
Good.
Hey, I'm enjoying a Victor Sinclair cigar right now.
Victor Sinclair?
Yeah.
Not familiar.
What is that?
Nicaraguan?
Dominican?
What is that?
I think they're Nicaraguan.
Good.
I'll have to check them out.
Thank you.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Hey, my first comment was the Mike Pence ad.
He said he'll get us back to oil exporting by 2040.
That's 16 years away.
Donald Trump did it in four years.
He did?
He did.
We had so much energy, we had more than we could use, Mark.
We had to sell it to other people.
Why would he think it would take that long?
I don't know why he's running.
I mean, when I understand why a man who thinks he can defeat President Trump is running, I have no compunction to say the guy's utterly illogical, Mark.
Yeah.
I have another quick question for you.
In 2020, the Democrats went around, they sent lawyers around to all the states to try to get the laws changed.
Am I correct on that?
Well, they actually did it.
Mark Elias of the DNC did exactly that, in many cases illegally, yes.
Yes, and Pennsylvania was one of my states, and it irritates the heck out of me.
I'm wondering, does President Trump, does he have any kind of a plan like that in place to do the same thing?
Well, it's happening already.
There's at least 12 states where they've changed the laws where you won't be able to do what happened in 2020.
So it's happening state by state, but not centrally.
Why?
Because it's not federal, right?
This is the key thing that people forget.
You know, the idea of Nancy Pelosi's to federalize presidential elections is absolutely disastrous.
The Constitution is clear, Mark.
The state Houses, even if it's a presidential ballot, the state houses run the election.
So there's no central plan.
And clearly, you know, Rona Romney McDaniel doesn't want to do anything.
But some good guys in key states are doing what has to be done.
The question is, is it enough?
And I think for now it is not enough.
And we've got a ticking, ticking clock.
That is ticking down on the amount of time we have to fix it.
Thank you, Mark.
We'll continue with your calls.
Don't go anywhere.
Gina, Phil, Antoinette, Victor, I'm Sebastian Gawker.

Happy Thursday, Victor!
Happy Thursday.
Pence should have done that commercial in New Jersey, the only state that does not allow people to pump their own gas.
That would have been like the 58th problem with the ad.
That's good.
I like that, Victor.
Yeah.
I'm really scared what happened to this 75-year-old man that was shot by the FBI.
He shouldn't have made threats on the internet.
I mean, for the FBI to come out and kill him, an old man who can hardly walk and everything?
I mean, what happened?
Why wasn't Madonna and others not prosecuted for making threats against Trump?
Yeah, yeah.
My problem with this is that I'd like to wait at least 24 hours till we get all the facts.
Provo resident Craig Duley Robertson made threats against Biden.
The FBI went to his house yesterday and he died.
The FBI shot him.
We don't know why.
We don't know what he was doing when the FBI knocked on his door.
But given what they've been doing for the last six years, Yeah, I want to know more.
Thank you, Victor.
Let's go to Gina, staying on the topic of the FBI, line four.
Hey, Dr. Gortka, how are you?
Good, good, good, good.
What's your comment?
What's your question?
So, my comment is, I know you're going to talk about the FBI memo.
It was true that they were spying on the Catholic Church.
Well, I knew that a long time ago, because people spotted the FBI.
We go to Latin Mass here in Oklahoma City, and we spotted them there, and it's been also told that they were in Tulsa.
So, it doesn't surprise me at all.
And all I can say is, we could tell our priests to welcome them, and maybe they might convert them to be Catholics.
How did you realize that there were feds coming to your traditional mass?
Was it the sunglasses?
Was it the government-issue polo shirts?
What was it, Gina?
So, one of the guys spotted them.
They said they noticed they had earpieces on.
And I assume they said they were doing pretty much what a Catholic does.
So I would assume that they were Catholic, right?
Hang on, that doesn't make any sense.
That doesn't make any sense.
They went undercover to a church with their earpieces sticking out of their ears.
Either there's something strange with that story or they're cretins.
You can't go in an enclosed building and not have people see this thing sticking out of your ear.
Oh my gosh, what a bunch of pikers.
We're going to talk about that story in the next hour.
Eric has a piece on how they lied.
It wasn't just one field office in Richmond, Virginia.
It was multiple coordinated field offices spying on Catholics because that's what the Biden administration does.
All right.
One hour down, two to go.
Third hour is going to be the one, the only.
Alan Dershowitz on what they're doing to President Trump.
Don't miss the one-on-one.
Third hour today with Alan Dershowitz.
We'll be back after these messages.
Thanks for watching.

The antidote to the mainstream media.
The Doctor is in America first with Dr. Sebastian Gorka on Salem News Channel.
You know, I don't think there's ever been a clear case of perjury in the history of government testimony.
And I don't say that lightly.
He said adamantly that the government never funded this gain-of-function research.
We now have the Government Accountability Office, the GAO, has admitted that the funding came from the NIH.
We have the acting director, Tabak, of the NIH admitting it in writing that it came from the NIH.
But now we have really the smoking gun, and that is Fauci in private saying the opposite of what he was saying in public.
When he was publicly telling me that absolutely we did not fund gain-of-function research in China, he says privately, we are suspicious that the virus has been manipulated and we are suspicious because we know they are doing gain-of-function research.
He then goes on to describe the research and it's exactly the research that the NIH funded.
That is, of course, Senator Rand Paul saying there is no more egregious example of somebody perjuring themselves again and again and again than Anthony Fauci when it comes to COVID, especially the origins of COVID and what he was doing helping to fund the Wuhan lab.
Before we continue our second hour with our special guest, breaking news, Robbie Robertson, the Canadian musician, has passed away.
At the age of 80, I'm a big fan of Robbie Robertson.
He was, of course, one of the lead guitarists for Bob Dylan in the 1960s.
We'll salute Robbie later in the show with two of my favorite songs from him.
But let's discuss Fauci, China, Wuhan, and everything else with the man we trust when it comes to signology, the art of understanding China, the author of the great US-China tech war, my friend Gordon Chang.
Gordon, welcome back to America First.
Well, thank you so much, Seb.
Before we discuss the latest developments, especially around the seas off Alaska, I presume you would concur with Senator Rand Paul concerning the former NIH director.
Absolutely, and the case is even more airtight than he suggested because we know from two scientific papers published 2016-2017 from researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, both papers describing gain-of-function research and both papers in footnotes acknowledging funding from not only NIH, But from the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the institute that Fauci headed himself.
So it was clear it was out in the open.
Fauci committed perjury.
If he didn't commit perjury, it was because he didn't know what his institute was doing.
Between those two explanations, only the first makes sense.
And do you have a theory as somebody who's been really on the case of what happened in the last three years and what happened in China and with Wuhan?
Why would the head of the Infectious Diseases Allergies Institute of the United States government, why would he be funneling money Threw a cutout, the EcoHealth cutout, to the only level 4 bio-military lab in Communist China.
Why would an American bureaucrat do that?
Because in 2014, the Obama administration, to its great credit, stopped, issued a moratorium on the funding of federal research of gain-of-function experiments.
And because Fauci could no longer do that in the U.S., he then started to divert the money through that cutout, the Echo Health Alliance, to the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
You know, Fauci has always been adamant that gain-of-function research is something that scientists should do.
Now, I disagree and a lot of other people disagree.
And COVID-19 and 7 million dead probably convinced everyone that Fauci was wrong.
But the point is Fauci believed that that's what we should do.
So that's why he was funding a biological weapons lab in China.
Let's discuss the latest actions by China.
We've all seen the viral footage of naval vessels intimidating Chinese naval vessels harassing US military vessels.
Then we have the footage, perhaps one of the most dangerous things we've seen of late, with the aircraft, the Chinese military aircraft, literally, you know, flying across, not next to, but across the flight path of a US military jet.
Now we have headlines that Russia And China are conducting joint patrols off the coast of Alaska.
What does this mean, Gordon?
Can you unpack this for us?
Because, you know, they're strange bedfellows.
There's no love lost, I don't think, truly between Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin.
But, you know, the war in Ukraine has brought them together for certain tactical purposes.
But how significant is this occurrence coming off the shores of Alaska?
The message to the United States from that flotilla, those 11 ships that floated up by the Aleutians, is that in a war in Asia, we're going to be facing not just the Chinese, but the Russians as well.
China and Russia have worked very closely.
And that exercise, they were able to, I think, perfect their interoperability.
Because you've got to remember that that was the extension of exercises in the Sea of Japan.
Where the command ship was a Chinese destroyer, and the Russians and the Chinese are now working very closely on command and control.
So in a war in Asia, when China attacks somebody, Russia will attack Japan.
And by the way, North Korea will attack Japan and South Korea in all probability.
What is the status right now of South Korea?
It looked as if a year ago, when Russia was just a few months into this war, perhaps Beijing would be emboldened.
Biden had been distracted, surrendered in Afghanistan, and some kind of move would occur against Taiwan.
It's not gone as intended for the former KGB colonel.
He's lost maybe a hundred thousand I think China still supports Russia.
You know, there was that big conference in Jeddah about four or five days ago, where China went, Russia didn't, and people were saying, oh, there's now a rift between China and Russia.
Well, yes, I think China, for instance, would like the war in Ukraine to end, but it wants the war to end on Russia's terms.
And Xi Jinping believes that he needs Vladimir Putin to, for instance, distract us in a war in Asia we just talked about.
So China and Russia are still very, very close.
That's not to say they don't have disagreements on certain things.
But nonetheless, we have to assume that in any urgent situation, we'll be facing both of them, China and Russia.
We also have stories connected to Beijing that are of a domestic nature.
We have a report that was released last week from Parents Protecting Education that we have The relabeled Confucian Institutes, we have new syllabi that is creeping into American schools, that is funded by organizations close to the CCP or to the government in China.
And in many cases, these curricula about Asia, about history, are being used in schools, Gordon, that are close to military bases.
The threat from China isn't simply in the Pacific, is it?
No.
I mean, there were at their height about 120 Confucius Institutes on college and university classrooms.
But there is something perhaps on the order of 500 Confucius classrooms in secondary schools.
Now, the Parents Defending Education, which you referred to, they reported on 134 school districts But the National Association of Scholars, Rochelle Peterson's done great work on this.
She's talking about more.
We don't know the exact number, which itself is a story, but the point is I'm very happy that the American public is now focusing on secondary schools, because there China's influence is much more pernicious than it is on When you hear, you know, Russian oligarchs, Chinese businessmen wiring millions of dollars to the current incumbent's son and then himself buying a Porsche the next day for $120,000, do Chinese businessmen, do government entities do this because they like somebody?
Do they give them these kinds of, you know, very lavish Gifts because they're just nice people Gordon.
I Think that this is a united front work department operation, which is a part of the Communist Party the uf the ufwd Basically tries to subvert other societies.
It is the Communist Party's contact with everybody else outside China And I can't believe that CEFC that Chinese energy company would try to do this on its own So I believe that this was centrally directed Which means that you have something that has been authorized at the, let's say, Politburo Standing Committee.
And we got to remember that the Chinese know about Hunter Biden.
They talk about him more than we did, for instance.
And they just chuckle and chortle among themselves about how they bought the Biden family.
You know, Di Dongsheng, that academic, November 2020?
He talked about how, you know, they would be able to own the Bidens.
And that all changed, he said in that lecture, when Donald Trump became president.
Why?
Because he understands the threat of China, as does our good friend Gordon Chang.
Follow him on Twitter, GordonGChang, GordonChang.com, and the author of The Great US-China Tech War.
I'm Sebastian Gawker.
This is America First.
Stay on this channel.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching!
He used it with subtitles, right, Gordon?
He did.
I don't know if he used that particular cut.
I'm not sure.
I can't remember.
Do you remember the location where he gave that lecture?
Where was that?
Shanghai.
It was to a live audience.
And the important thing here was that it was live streamed across China, which means that except Yeah, we'll find it.
We'll find it.
It's really important.
Yep.
Thanks, Gordon.
Best to Lydia.
Bye-bye.
Yep.
Thanks a lot.
Is that the one where they said they used to have contacts in the White House?
Yes.
And all their contacts in Wall Street and Henry Kissinger couldn't help them anymore.
Title for that one.
Um...
Why Hunter Gets Gifts From Communist China.
All right.
Dave's not right.
Yeah.
Okay.
All right.
Dave's not right.
Come in with Robbie again.
That's love that.
Yes.
Hang on, which? You mean cut 4?
**Whistling** Oh, okay. Alright.
Alright.
Hey, do you need my pretty face for this thing, or is this radio?
Dude, we need you always, because we post it on video, and it's two segments.
Well, your dude said radio, and so... Yeah, it's radio and video, dude.
I love showcasing my tans, they're great.
Because it makes wind towers that's going to go into turbines made by GE Verona.
Excuse me.
I mispronounced it.

He can't even read a flipping teleprompter.
Incredible.
I want to thank all of you who have stepped up to the plate to support Food for the Poor on the ground in 17 nations.
Just listen to how your support is really translated into love.
This is Marsha on the ground in St.
Lucia.
We were able to charter a boat, fill it with some Food for the Poor relief supplies, the persons we're in need of.
Etched in my memory was a sense of relief on the faces of the recipients and the words that they spoke.
They said, we have not been abandoned.
We are not alone.
You have come to us.
Food for the Poor's donations and love was felt by the persons who had been adversely impacted.
That is the impact you have.
They feel loved and you are literally saving lives.
Make a difference today.
Remember what our Lord and Savior told us.
Come unto me the little children.
Let's help them tonight so they don't have to go to bed with empty bellies.
The easiest way is to go to my website sebgawker.com and click on the Emergency Relief Supplies banner at the top or you can call Food for the Poor on 855-330-HOPE That's 855-330-4673, or you can text my name to 81999, that's G-O-R-K-A, to 81999, and they'll text you a link back that makes it all so easy.
But perhaps the easiest is my website, sebgawker.com, and the food for the poor banner.
All right, what has he done to this nation?
It is incredible that they're using the phrase Bindernomics as if it's a good thing.
Let's talk about the state of the economy and what the future portends with a man who's educating the next generation, the Dean of the Business School at Liberty University, former Congressman Dave Brat.
Dave, welcome back to America First.
Hey Zeb, thanks for having me on, and that's some great work you're doing helping the poor around the world.
We believe in that at Liberty University, so congratulations.
Thank you kindly.
All right, so we've got the Fed raising rates.
We've got this news about Moody's that has downgraded.
Ten lenders have been impacted by the downgrade.
I presume none of this is a surprise to you, Dave?
No, the surprise is that it's not worse already, right?
Every blue-chip economist, even the most boring people, were declaring that we'd be in a deep recession by now.
And so what they all got wrong was the amount of stimulus that's been injected in the economy with trillion-dollar budgets.
We have COVID budgets now without the COVID.
We're basically sending checks to every business and every person Again, that's the magnitude of spending that's ongoing.
This is really important.
What you just said, that we still have COVID budgets after COVID, is crucial.
So maybe this helps explain, because I don't understand.
I'm not the economist you are.
I keep hearing from my buddies who run businesses, you know, medium, small-sized businesses, that Dave, they still can't find people to work.
You know, decent wages, you know, decent livable wages.
People are not wanting to work.
Why is that, Dave?
Well, there's a bunch of cultural issues tied in with the next generation of workers, loss of the Protestant Catholic work ethics, etc.
That's part of the story here.
And that, you know, there's still, you know, there was two trillion dollars of COVID stimulus sent out To provide, you know, incentives to keep people at home in the basements doing video games or whatever.
There's still a half trillion that needs to make its way through the system.
And just to make the story even more complex, M2, the money supply, has actually gone down by the greatest amount since the Great Depression.
What does that mean?
Explain that for me, Immortals.
What does the money supply going down mean?
Yeah, well, usually if the Fed takes money out of circulation, right?
When we were in the in the COVID period, and you're sending checks, you needed to stimulate the economy.
So they printed money like crazy, increased M2, which is the amount of money out there in circulation.
But now they're reducing it.
And raising interest rates to 5% from zero.
And 5% is nothing, you know, historically out of the norms.
That's okay.
But it's the rapid rise from zero to five that should shock the economy into recession at least.
And it's still coming with the credit markets like you implied, right?
Once all the five-year real estate Uh, you know, mortgages, that's the way they work in that in that sector.
Once they all come due, there's going to be more than what you said, right?
There's it's coming.
There's a bubble that's going to pop.
But the $7 trillion in fiscal spending outweighs that, right?
So on the one hand, the federal government is expanding the economy, the Federal Reserve is contracting the economy, and they really don't know what they're doing, right?
They're just playing it by ear.
There's never been even a thought experiment like this in the history of economics.
And so they're just praying And so for all of us mere mortals, we don't know what a half trillion means.
and all that. And then, you know, the next day after Silicon Bank and two others failed,
the Federal Reserve injected another half a trillion dollars. And so for all of us mere
mortals, we don't know what a half trillion means. And the fact that no economists are writing on
any of this gives you a more serious understanding of the problem.
So where does it end?
What is the destination that this train's going to arrive at, Dave?
Like you and Bannon say, the rest of the world's catching on that there's no way we're going to pay off $50 trillion in debt in 10 years.
We can't even pay the interest.
The interest is going to be $2.5 trillion a year alone on that much debt.
So the rest of the world's learning this.
They're going to a gold-backed type of currency of some sort.
And that alone wouldn't do it.
No one's going to park their money in China or Russia or wherever.
But if you make it go back and tie it to blockchain, where you have total security and a record of all transactions, boy, that's a powerful combo.
And the rest of the world's going to go, hey, I get my money back out of here.
Whereas the US, I know they're going to inflate this debt.
Right.
They're going to pay that debt back.
They owe that 50 trillion with cheaper dollars.
And so we're not going to park our money in the U.S.
So on the monetary side, that's bad.
The more serious thing is in 10 years, everything's upside down.
We can't pay interest on the debt.
The kids, Social Security and Medicare are both insolvent in 10 years, according to their own board of trustees reports.
You'll read it on the first page.
And so we have stolen from the kids.
The kids ought to form a non-profit up in D.C.
in the swamp, pay themselves $200,000 a year, and just represent themselves on the debt, Social Security, and Medicare.
That's bipartisan.
I tell that to every young person group I talk to.
They don't take me seriously, and they should.
It's a serious proposition.
They can pay themselves handsomely and do the world some good.

Don't always turn them off, unless I tell you to turn them off.
What is the elevator pitch for it?
The elevator pitch is this is populist economic topics that no economist will write on.
Nothing wrong with Milton Friedman.
That's good, that's good.
Have you spoken to any publishers?
Yeah, Bannon's got me with some guy or gal and eventually they'll get to it.
But I'm not sure if they like it or not, they haven't got back.
All right, did you send them what you've written?
Yeah, yeah.
Email it to me and I'll send it to my publisher and maybe he's got an idea, all right?
Because he's got Ghostwriters and all kinds of stuff, okay?
Perfect, perfect.
Just email it to me.
Good.
Let me turn my light up here.
What else?
What else?
What have we... Play me Cut Ten again.
Ten.
I have spoken with the D.C.
National Guard.
And while I have to have more conversations with the chief of police, which I have today, and the mayor, and my colleagues, we have a long way to get there.
We just know that police alone is not getting it done.
We are clearly in a war zone.
If you don't know you are in a war zone, that means you haven't been here.
Our government has to step up, our police department has to step up, and our residents have to step up.
We're tired of this s***.
And enough is enough.
And excuse my language, but I want to be quite frank.
Alright, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, uh, what have we got here?
It's a C. Patriot.
My Patriot Supply, right?
Supply, yep.
Come in with that.
I'm going to ask you, Geoff, to quickly remind everybody who that is.
I'll do my Patriot Supply, and then we'll go to Dave.
All right.
Oh, you've got to fix that buffer, Eric, the black t-shirt on black background.
Can you reach out to Randy or whatever?
Because you can't see the t-shirt.
Okay, hang on All right one minute Dave

Our police department has to step up.
And our residents have to step up.
We're tired of this sh**.
And enough is enough.
Excuse my language, but I want to be quite frank.
That's Councilman, D.C.
Councilman Trayon White, who says D.C.' 's now war zone.
Hey, Jeff, I remember that guy.
There's some audio of him.
Some Instagram posted it or something.
What did Councilman White say a couple of years ago?
Yeah, a few years ago it snowed in the beginning of spring here in D.C.
Right.
And that's when he said it was because the Rothschilds were controlling the weather.
Hang on, a DC councilman said the Jews control the weather?
That's what he said?
Yeah, that's why it was snowing.
And that's why it was snowing in April.
And he's a councilman?
Yep.
Isn't he one of the guys who said defund the police?
I'm sure he voted for it too.
And now he wants the National Guard?
Yep.
Oh, the dear, dear irony.
Why are so many people, including in DC, buying emergency food right now?
I'll tell you why.
Because Biden's in the White House!
One shocking headline, panic spreads and the grocery store shelves are empty.
Could you feed your family if that happens?
It's your job as a father, as a husband, as a grandfather.
You must provide.

I can feed my family.

We are back with the Dean of the Business School at Liberty University, liberty.edu.
I want to just drill down on something you said, which is, I know it's kind of geeking out here, but it's, for me, as a former professor, you said something shocking.
We've never seen these numbers.
We've never seen a government so out of control when it comes to spending, left and right.
And you said, none of the economists are writing about it.
So what happened to economics, Professor Bratt?
Well, economics is a discipline like every other discipline that's located within the modern university, which has been captured by the leftist donors.
And so if you dare to write on anything that's making front page news right now that doesn't comport well with the mainstream politically correct narratives, such as We're 50 trillion in debt.
We're not going to be able to pay that back.
And it's going to hurt your kids.
That's not popular right now at the New York Times or the Washington Post.
So there's no stories there.
And any economist that writes anything devastating that goes counter to the national mainstream media narrative, they'll get canceled because all their grants come from foundations by leftists.
You know, I can establish all this in five seconds.
But it's also true for other issues like the border invasion and the impact that has on, you know, black, brown, blue collar workers.
It's clear.
First semester economics, you learn that it's going to devastate the poor, right?
The wage rates are going to get hit by the poorest of the poor.
Similarly, what's the impact of a China war?
What's the impact of a Taiwan war?
Rand, R-A-N-D, the military think tank, wrote a piece on that.
It's devastating.
Somehow they got through.
That came out about six months, a year ago.
But I haven't seen anything else on that.
Same for the Russia-Ukraine war.
What's the impact of that?
Massive numbers of young Christian kids are being killed on Ukrainian war fields.
And we go back to John Mearsheimer, who wrote on this, and boy, he's got some courage.
He stuck to his guns on the political side, the political philosophy side.
He was absolutely correct.
But you can just go down the issues, and the thing they have in common is they're all populist issues that the mainstream people care about.
Now, interestingly, the polls are turning, right?
These issues I'm listing off, they're 80-85% Republican, 60-65% Independent, and 35-40%
Democrats. And so, you know, those numbers are enough for anyone to win any competition except
for the Republican establishment.
They can take those numbers and somehow run the wrong way on the football field.
Never let it be underestimated, the capacity of the GOP to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
That was too short.
Two segments is too short.
I don't know what we're going to do with this man.
I know.
In the meantime, follow him on Getter right now at Brat Economics, and I think he might have a book coming out in the not-too-distant future.
Thank you.
God bless.

Jonah Goldberg just gave an interview where he said, large donors are actually more strategic.
Small donors are just venting their spleen.
We like big donors.
Yep.
Because they're smarter than you.
They're smarter than those rubes.
Clearly.
They don't even hear themselves.
These kind of people don't listen to themselves.
It's because small donors don't read Jonah Goldberg.

Well, you know, Tim, just, or Brett rather, in just the last two days, there have been
two more polls that have come out that now have me tied for second with Governor DeSantis.
One at 11% and one at 9%.
So we feel like it's really moving in our direction.
Our momentum is going the right way.
Governor DeSantis is going in the wrong direction.
And so first job is to get past Governor DeSantis here in New Hampshire.
We've now caught him.
Now we need to pass him.
And then we're going to take on Donald Trump one-on-one.
You're not passing anybody.
You're like 400 pounds.
Jeff, did you know that Chris Christie has taken over from Ron DeSantis and beaten him?
No, because I would have definitely told you that, because I would have thought it's funny that DeSantis is losing to him, even though I don't like Chris Christie.
He found two outlier polls, and you notice how he said it's New Hampshire too.
So it's only one state, and that's the state that he's campaigning in all the time.
I know.
It's too funny.
Absolutely, totally, totally hilarious.

Let's go to our buddy, Phil in Philly.
Hey, Dr. G, I know you're busy.
Thanks for taking the call.
I wanted to tell you what I was calling about, but real quick on Pence, he always reminded me of white-haired G.I.
Joe.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
It's, uh, it's, uh, Race Bannon, right?
From, uh, what?
Johnny Quest!
It's Race Bannon!
But what I was getting at was the way he ran out of capital without doing his constitutional duty.
The only thing he has in common with white-haired G.I.
Joe is the anatomy.
Nicely done.
Thank you, Phil.
Let's remind everybody, it's the cut from yesterday.
This is what the then-Vice President said 48 hours before January the 6th.
48 hours before January the 6th, this is what Pence said.
You know, I know we all got our doubts about the last election.
And I want to assure you, I share the concerns of millions of Americans about voting irregularities.
And I promise you, come this Wednesday, we'll have our day in Congress.
We'll hear the objections.
We'll hear the evidence.
But tomorrow is Georgia's day.
What happened to that hearing the evidence and having our day?
Coward.
Let's go to Wendy, California.
Well, hello, Sebastian.
Hey.
So yesterday I was listening to a local station here, not the one I normally listen to, because it's an hour before this gets started.
And I know I'm not a big fan of Hugh Hewitt.
So on the news, they said that one of the election people in Wisconsin turned into the FBI the fact that someone had brought them this big bundle of ballots.
This is 2020 election.
And then they had to do one of those requests in order to get the video.
They got the video, shows two vans pulling up after the election at like 3 a.m.
and dumping pallets.
Meanwhile, there's no Republicans or anybody there witnessing it.
They turned that into the FBI.
FBI sat on it.
And then today, I thought, I even said to the dog, oh, this is going to be a big news day.
Nothing out of anybody, right?
And so then today, same news, early in the morning, said that the GOP there in that state is looking into it.
Why isn't anybody, has everybody just forgotten?
Because if we don't clean up the elections, we won't ever get another fair election.
Yeah, I don't understand.
So hang on, you heard this new news yesterday on another radio channel?
Yeah, and it was an ABC affiliate.
It was the old channel that Rush Limbaugh used to be on.
Alright, I don't know if this is new news, or if this is something that's just being regurgitated from 2020, but I need to know more.
So Wendy, stay on the line, talk to Mr. G, give him all the details, the show host, the call sign, because I don't know if this is new, because we have evidence of all kinds of shenanigans, or whether this is new, and we will investigate further, Wendy.
Thank you so much.
It's Thursday.
Therefore.
Antoinette, line one!
Hey, Dr. T, I want to second the motion of Klaus.
We definitely need to donate to Larry Elder for president because we need to get him on the stage to agitate that stage.
Larry Elder with his encyclopedic knowledge dropping fact bombs in front of all those rhinos would be quite entertaining.
So let's, even if President Trump isn't there for the first debate, which I think is a wise decision, let's Let's try and get Larry Elder up on the stage.
So go right now to LarryElder.com.
LarryElder.com.
And he's my former Salem colleague.
Let's support him.
What else would you like to share with us as a voice for the voiceless, Antoinette?
Dr. G, reminding everybody, iamforthevoiceless.com to go on there, add your prayers, add your thoughts for us.
Those are our donations that we want, your prayers.
But most importantly, your guest earlier on the top of your hour, Gordon Chang.
Talk about an interesting situation.
Today, at the Tustin Orange Planned Parenthood, we actually have some dealings with Asians that spoke Russian that, as they were coming out of
the Planned Parenthood, you know, we walk up to their window to give them information
so they don't do abortions.
And they were going to race out.
They ended up pulling out in the in their car stalls, which was hysterical.
Anyway, they got the police there.
In the meantime, we covered their cars so other cars wouldn't hit them with our signs,
stop abortions.
But here's another interesting thing.
We talked about it.
We've only got a few seconds.
You gotta be quick.
Okay.
A lot of Muslim people in their jihadis are going to the Planned Parenthood.
It's shocking what's going on there now.
With all our borders open, Dr. G, I just wanted to share a little bit of that with you.
All right.
Well, I want to share the following.
I don't know if you're on social media, but a friend of mine, Kaya Jones, Shared something on her Instagram post yesterday that I immediately told my team.
I told John, you need to put this everywhere.
Repost it.
Credit Kaya.
It is a stunning video.
It's a newborn child that's not breathing.
For seven minutes, the doctor, the nurse, refuses.
To stop saving that child.
They do heart compressions.
They give it oxygen.
They shake it.
They massage its back.
They massage its skin for seven minutes straight and that baby comes back to life.
It's on my Twitter, my Facebook, my Instagram.
It's everywhere.
Watch it.

One of my two favorite songs from the late great Jamie Royal Robbie Robertson, former lead guitarist for Bob Dylan, has just passed away at the age of 80.
If you have time later today, just download or look it up online somewhere down the crazy river.
It's a whole story.
It's like a novel in a song and then some showdown at Big Sky.
Listen to them tonight.
You won't regret it.
All right, we have an update on the FBI spying on Catholics in America.
Eric has written this up for American Greatness.
The director of the FBI, Eric, said that this was one rogue piece of analysis by the Richmond field office of the FBI.
What did you report today?
Congressman Jim Jordan, along with Congressman Mike Johnson, chairman of the Subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government, revealed that a less redacted version of that memo shows that the Richmond office Actually coordinated with two other field offices, Portland and Los Angeles, for the research.
They used the information and had a liaison contract, quote unquote, with Portland.
So it was not just from one office.
As Director Wray said, under oath before Congress.
Yeah, we're going to play that cut, but this is, I mean, what is a liaison contract?
I've done a lot of work with the FBI.
Why do you have a liaison contract with other field offices?
They're part of the FBI.
That in and of itself is incredibly suspicious.
So we now know that he lied, and here's a little reminder of what the current director of the FBI said about, oh no, no, just some crazies at the FBI office in Richmond.
Cut 13.
Director, what's the difference between a traditional Catholic and a radical traditional Catholic?
I'm not an expert on the Catholic orders.
Well, your FBI wrote a memo talking about radical traditional Catholics.
I'm just wondering if you could define it for us.
Well, what I can tell you is you're referring to the Richmond product, which was a single product by a single field office, which, as soon as I found out about it, I was aghast and ordered it withdrawn and removed from FBI systems.
You were aghast?
Then why won't you let us talk to the people who put it together?
We are working on finishing an internal review into what happened here.
We have to wait.
We, the Congress, and the American people have to wait until you do an internal review.
It's not a criminal investigation going on here.
An internal review before we can talk to the people who wrote this?
When we finish our internal review, which will be very soon, we will come back before the committee to provide a briefing on what we found.
You lied, Christopher Wray.
You perjured yourself.
Let's impeach him as well.
But first, let's understand what they're truly trying to do to President Trump.
Nobody better to analyze that than a Democrat lawyer, emeritus professor at Harvard, who has been shunned, ostracized by his fellow Democrats.
Why?
Because he's told the truth about what they're trying to do to President Trump.
So, looking forward to the one-on-one with the one and only Alan Dershowitz, next here on America First.
If you stand with the President, check out all the America First gear at SebGorkerStore.com, especially the number one seller, the I stand with 45 flag and t-shirt.

you you
you I don't care about parties.
I'm invited to too many.
But at a party this week on Martha's Vineyard, a woman said, if Dershowitz were here tonight, I'd stab him through the heart.
This is a Martha's Vineyard woman.
Saying she would stab me through the heart.
Another Martha's Vineyarder, a professor at MIT, Professor Nicholas Negroponte, who has previously said he wished there were no New York Times and that people only got the news that represented their own personal worldview so that they wouldn't hear opposing He's leading the campaign to try to get other people to shun me in every way and not to engage with me.
swallow and you learn French overnight, so you won't have to go through the process of
learning French.
He's leading the campaign to try to get other people to shun me in every way and not to
engage with me.
Now they're losing.
That is, of course, Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz on the late Tucker show, as it
was, on Fox, telling a story that rather became viral about the violence, the intolerance
of the Martha's Vineyard set.
We are delighted, we are honoured to have him with us today for America First 101.
Professor Dershowitz, welcome back to the Salem News Network.
Well, thank you.
It's actually getting much worse.
On the Vineyard, the book fair, which is supposed to be featuring Martha's Vineyard writers, banned me after I defended Donald Trump.
I wrote more books than anybody in the history of Martha's Vineyard and sold more books than anybody who was invited to the fair, but they wouldn't invite me.
The library initially banned me.
The Hebrew Center banned me.
I don't care about parties.
That's irrelevant.
But public forum, taxpayer money going into these things, and they're presenting only their version of the narrative and not wanting to hear any point of view different from their own.
Free speech is dying on Martha's Vineyard, and it's dying in many other parts.
of the country. And thank God for conservatives and moderate liberals who want to keep free speech
alive. But extremists on both sides, and more particularly today, Democratic and left-wing
extremists, want to censor free speech. They want to have free speech for me, but not for me.
It's just the story today. The New York Times justified an African-American political leader
who was leading a cheer, killed the Boers, killed white farmers.
And they justified that.
They said, well, he didn't really mean it literally.
You know, Kate Smith can be banned from Yankee Stadium from singing God Bless America because she, back in 1931, sang a song That was racist, but an African leader can get away with saying, kill white people.
It's just the double standard that we're seeing towards speech and toward everything these days is just appalling.
Well, we have so much to discuss concerning the First Amendment, the recent court cases against President Trump, the lack of court cases against the current incumbent in the White House or members of his family.
The new book is Get Trump, Order It Right Now!
The Threat to Civil Liberties, Due Process and Our Constitutional Rule of Law.
Our host also has his own podcast.
You should subscribe today to The Dersh Show.
Professor, let's start with that clip.
I played it for a reason.
I don't want to discuss, you know, Well, what's happened is they're being taken over by extremists, by the Squad, by people who have no tolerance for ideas different from their own.
I am not a Democrat.
I am not loyal to either party.
60,000-foot question.
What has happened to the Democrat Party of late?
Well, what's happened is they're being taken over by extremists, by the Squad, by people
who have no tolerance for ideas different from their own.
I am not a Democrat.
I am not loyal to either party.
I am a loyal and patriotic American who loves the Constitution and always sides with the
the Constitution, regardless of which political party benefits from that.
But today, the Democrats are more at fault.
I have a new book that'll be out in a few months called The New McCarthyism, in which I say the new McCarthyism is actually more dangerous than the old McCarthyism.
Why?
Because the old McCarthyism represented the past.
A lot of old folks who were complaining about what happened in the 1930s.
But the new McCarthyism is young people who are our future leaders, students that I have taught,
students who 10 years from now will be in Congress, 20 years from now will be in the White House,
students who will be in the editorial boards of the New York Times and CNN,
and they have no tolerance for a speech different from what they believe in.
And they're being taught by people who have no tolerance.
So I worry very much about the future.
So let's dwell on this for a moment because it is quite peculiar that the political side
or the party that 40, 50 years ago was defining itself against the establishment,
didn't trust the establishment, didn't trust the FBI or the judiciary,
was the counterculture, that political amoeba now.
Now celebrates the FBI, celebrates the CIA, celebrates the raid upon the private residence of the 45th president.
You must be, I mean, I have to ask you, you know, you are someone who's, you know, partied on Martha's Vineyard.
Are you the sole voice of sanity?
Does anybody else around you that you know say, hang on a second, how is it that we used to Berate the FBI for COINTELPRO and everything else, and now we're rooting for them to raid the president.
Does anybody else agree with you, Professor?
No, hardly anybody.
There, you know, one or two people, excluding my children, who also disagree with me about things, but we have loving, loving arguments.
My best example of that is the Espionage Act of 1917, passed during the First World War by It's the worst anti-civil liberty statute since the Alien and Sedition Acts back in the 1790s.
And many, many liberals—Eugene V. Debs went to jail under the Espionage Act, Julian Assange, Dr. Spock—so many.
Daniel Ellsberg was prosecuted under the Espionage Act.
Every liberal and every civil libertarian and every Democrat I know was appalled by the Espionage Act and wanted to abolish it, until a couple of years ago.
Now, because it's being used against Donald Trump, they want to expand it.
They want to expand its reach.
Make sure it covers Donald Trump.
Make sure it covers Rudy Giuliani.
Make sure it covers anybody who had any association with Donald Trump.
Make sure it can reach me, possibly.
I mean, these are folks with no principles.
and no memory for the past.
And it's just a question of picking sides.
If you say anything, anything, that has any positive thing about Donald Trump,
if you say, you know, he did a good job on the Abraham Accords,
he may actually have succeeded in moving toward peace in the Middle East.
He recognized Jerusalem.
He recognized the Golan Heights as parts of Israel.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
We can't talk about that.
We can only talk about he stole the election, tried to steal the election.
He's now being indicted.
And they're cheering for that.
They have forgotten about civil liberties.
The worst offender, of course, is the American Civil Liberties Union, ACLU, Anti-Civil Liberties Union.
They have forgotten about free speech, civil liberties, due process.
All they care about is get Trump.
Anything that will get Trump will raise money for them.
They are now a cash bank.
They are rolling in money.
When they stop being civil liberties and went for the anti-Trump, they start getting money because, you know, most Americans I don't really appreciate civil liberties.
It's free speech for me, but not for thee.
Everybody has exceptions that they don't want to apply.
The ACLU used to stand up for no.
Doesn't matter whether you're a Nazi or a communist, if you're, we'll defend you.
No more.
They won't defend people who are supportive of Donald Trump or opposed to the establishment today.
It's just turned everything on its head.
That's why a new organization has been formed called FIRE, Freedom of Individual Responsibility, whatever, started as an academic institution defending free speech, because on many campuses today, there is no free speech.
I can't go back and give a lecture at Harvard where I've spoken for 50 years.
It would be disrupted.
They would not allow me to speak.
They would not allow me to speak about Israel.
They would not allow me to speak about abortion rights.
They would not allow me to speak about gun control.
They would not allow me to speak even about things they agree with, because I have officially been canceled.
By the left, because of the fact that I defended Donald Trump on constitutional grounds in front of the United States Senate.
And so academic freedom at many universities today is a thing of the past.
It's something to be studied by history departments.
Academic freedom, free speech, that's a good subject for history.
But present, future, forget about it.

Now, it is superb to hear from those on the ground who are profiting from your support for the charity Food for the Poor.
Right now we have audio from an individual called Nackel.
He is a pastor in Jamaica and he's telling the truth about the aid that you are helping to provide.
I want to explain to you something.
When you give your money to Food for the Poor, whether it's $10 or $100, this will go directly towards the disaster unit.
It will basically make sure that Jamaica and other countries will basically be provided with the disaster kits, like flashlight, protective wear.
It goes also towards food, towards purification, water purification tablets, because it's important in time of disaster.
This is the organization that is helping in 17 nations through the Pastors Network.
Food for the Poor is doing the Lord's work with your help.
Please donate today.
Just $10, $20 can literally save a life.
You can text MYNAMEGORKA to 81999 and they'll send you the link by return text.

God bless every single one of you.
Professor, I don't know if you sleep at all.
You seem to be a graphomaniac, publishing more books than most people could read.
Tell us what made you, what was the trigger for your new book, Get Trump?
Why this title?
Because what we're seeing is a concerted effort to do everything, stretch the Constitution, stretch the law, ignore rights, in order to prevent Trump from running for president successfully.
We've seen now That President Biden said to friends, he thought Merrick Garland was going too slowly.
This is back in 2022.
Going too slowly, he's acting more like a judge than like a zealous prosecutor.
And so once I saw what they were doing, that they were making this concerted effort to try to prevent me From voting against Trump for the third time.
I have a constitutional right to vote against Trump, just as you have a constitutional right to vote for him.
And neither of us should be denied that right by a prosecutor or by bureaucrats or by a judge or by a jury.
So I decided to write a book about it, became a bestseller, Get Trump.
But you cannot buy it on Martha's Vineyard.
It will not be sold either at book fairs or in bookstores on Martha's Vineyard.
There's an absolute ban on this book.
And it's probably banned in other cities that have the same political dimension.
So the only place you can get it, it was the number one nonfiction bestseller on Amazon.com, but it wasn't available for sale at most independent bookstores, which tend to lean left.
So, you know, I write, this is my 52nd book.
I've completed my 53rd book on the new McCarthyism.
And I'm working on my 54th book.
My goal is I'm going to be 85 next month.
My goal is to hit 60 books, if the good Lord gives me the power and the strength to continue.
With my writing.
That's incredibly impressive.
It didn't start with Biden.
Where did this begin?
The idea that you can weaponize the judiciary, that you can use the FBI as a political tool, that only one side of the aisle should have freedom of speech.
Where do you put the genesis for this?
Where does the rot begin, Professor?
It began with the election of Donald Trump in 2016.
It took liberals and Democrats by surprise.
I met Hillary Clinton, who I've known for a long time, met her in Martha's Vineyard in August of 2016.
And I told her then confidentially that I thought she was going to lose the election.
She was way ahead in the polls.
And she poo-pooed it.
And I said, the reason I think so is I've just come back with my family from a trip through Europe.
And Brexit had just been enacted.
I went to Eastern European countries, where my family is from, and I saw charismatic leaders, nationalistic leaders.
And I said that Donald Trump has caught an international wave, and you haven't caught it.
And he's going to pull off a surprise and win the election.
When he did that, all focus was then on how to get rid of him, how to impeach him, how to make sure he doesn't run again.
And even though I'm not his political supporter, I didn't believe that impeachment was proper, either number
one or number two.
I defended him on the floor of the Senate against impeachment number one.
But it started the day Donald Trump got elected. That day has had a profound impact on America.
Both the election of Trump and the reaction to the election of Trump are among the most
important events in modern American history.
But I'm trying to get to the root of it.
So what is it about Donald Trump?
Because we were told he's going to start wars.
He actually prevented any wars for four years.
We were told he literally he's a fascist.
He's a dictator.
He's going to lock you up.
He didn't do any of that.
His campaign manager was arrested.
Steve Bannon was arrested.
Mike Flynn was, you know, in court for three years.
What is it about this man that so created, it's a joke today, but I think it has clinical veracity, this Trump derangement syndrome.
Do you have any theory?
Well, I invented that term two years before, three years before Trump got elected in the context of Israel.
In one of my books, there's such a thing as Israel Derangement Syndrome.
You can talk to somebody about any subject, talk to them about guns, talk to them about abortion.
When you start talking about Israel, their brains become scrambled.
They can't talk about it.
They just get so emotional.
And I called it Israel Derangement Syndrome.
And it clearly occurred with Donald Trump as well.
I was friendly with Larry David, the comedian.
For years and years and years, he would come to our home for dinner.
I helped his daughter get into college.
We would meet on the porch of the Chilmark store and exchange jokes.
When he saw me after I defended Donald Trump, he came up to me.
It was as if he was looking at Heinrich Himmler.
It's as if I had just come back from defending Adolf Hitler.
The veins in his head were popping.
I thought he was going to have a stroke.
He honestly believed That he was looking at a man who defended Adolf Hitler.
That's the way people think.
But why?
But why?
Why?
Why?
He didn't arrest anybody.
He didn't start any wars.
Why Donald Trump?
It's totally irrational, because he got more votes than people expected him to get, and he had more popularity, and he got elected president.
Though he lost the popular vote, he won the electoral vote.
That's the way we elect presidents.
And the people on the left got it into their heads that he would do these things.
The fact that he didn't do these things That, you know, even many of my Jewish friends and pro-Israel friends, they don't recognize the fact that he was probably the best president since Harry Truman for Israel.
And they won't accept it.
They just won't accept it.
They can't see anything positive, either about him or about anybody who has supported or defended him.
You know, I defended people on Martha's Vineyard for years, free of charge.
I defended their children who got in trouble.
I was woken up at three in the morning to run down to police headquarters to help a kid who had been picked up for drunken driving.
I did so much for the people of Martha's Vineyard, but the minute, the minute I said anything positive about Donald Trump or anything about his rights, everything was forgotten.
And it's interesting.
Somebody came over to me yesterday and said, you know, I really agree with a lot of things you've said, but I can't publicly say it.
Another one said, if I invited you to an event at my house, I would be committing social suicide.
And I said to him, if you were a true friend, you would take that risk.
You don't abandon people because of their political views.
But in Martha's Vineyard, if you're seen talking to me, you are socially ostracized.
I don't mind that.
I can deal with that.
It's when libraries and book fairs and other public events say, we don't want to hear from you anymore.
Well, and especially when this is coming from the people who say they are the tolerant ones.
They are the holier the There are ones that are fighting intolerance.

I have many, many questions.
The list is getting longer.
I'm going to stick to like three questions I think I've left in this time.
But you said that you coined the derangement syndrome phrase, not with regards to Trump, but with regards to Israel.
As a Jewish American, I have to ask you this because I concur.
President Trump is the most philo-semitic president since 1948, since the re-establishment of Israel.
That is without question.
He's the one president who, after 23 years of broken promises, recognized Jerusalem, moved the embassy, brought us the Abraham Accords.
So, without a doubt, it's empirical.
Can you explain to me, because you must know these people, you must know Democrats, secular Jews, apart from the Orthodox, why on God's green earth Do the Democrats so hate Israel?
Aren't prepared to stand with Israel?
I cannot calculate why a Jewish American would vote for a party that really doesn't help our best friend in the Middle East.
Well, it's a good question.
It's a question that President Trump has asked me virtually every time he has seen me.
Why don't your people vote for me?
My answer is, first, I don't have any people.
Second of all, everybody else tend to vote on a variety of issues.
They vote on abortion rights.
They vote on gay rights.
They vote on climate control.
They vote on separation of church and state.
They vote on a range of issues.
Actually, Trump got more votes from Jewish Democrats than Many previous presidents, but today there are many, many American Jews.
For example, the synagogue on Martha's Vineyard that I don't go to, the Hebrew Center, has been virulently anti-Israel.
How can they justify that?
This is a vibrant democracy.
It is the only functioning democracy in the region.
How can you be against it as an American Jew?
Well, that's why we started another congregation on Martha's Vineyard.
You know, the joke about the Jews found on a desert island alone after 20 years?
And he's built two synagogues.
This one I go to, this one I wouldn't go near.
Right.
The one I go to, the Chabad, and the one I won't go near, the Hebrew Center, which invites Peter Beinhart to be its main speaker, and has banned me and any other really pro-Israel speakers from speaking.
Because I think many American Jews feel very secure now, and they're prepared to vote about issues that don't affect them directly, and they often ignore Israel, and I think I think today evangelical Christians can be counted on much more to support Israel than Reform Jews and many other Jews can, and thank God for evangelical Christians.
I was recently away on vacation.
With several friends of mine, Mike Pompeo and Mike Huckabee, both evangelical Christians, you couldn't get more supportive people on Israel.
And that's true of many evangelicals, but it's becoming decreasingly true, particularly of Reform Jews.
And so, you know, we in the Jewish community have our own battles to fight within our community, and I continue to fight them.
You know, I've written six books on Israel, and I'll continue to write about it, and I hope more people will join me in supporting Israel.
People of every background, of every religion, of every race, and there are people.
I have Muslim friends who support Israel.
African American friends who support Israel, but increasingly my Jewish friends are embarrassed by Israel because it's too strong and too powerful, and they're used to rooting for the underdog.
Well, you know, Israel is still the underdog in the world, although obviously it's more powerful than its surrounding enemies.
Surrounded by many who wish to destroy it, a nation that functions.
I have been there dozens of times, that actually functions as a heterogeneous country that has representation of all elements of society, from those who've emigrated there from Africa.
It's just stunning to me that there can be such visceral, illogical hatred for For a nation that is an exemplar for the reason, a region.

Okay, Biden cut, please.
Too much of what's happening in our country today is not normal.
Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens
the very foundations of our republic.
Professor, how dangerous is it to have the incumbent president bathed in fascistic red light, certain Marines standing behind him in front of Independence Hall in Philadelphia, call half the nation extremists?
Well, it's very dangerous, and it's very dangerous for him to have called the Supreme Court of the United States not normal because it rendered a decision saying that race cannot be considered as such in university admissions.
I wrote an article for The Wall Street Journal proving that the Warren Court, the most liberal court in American history, It was perfectly normal for the Supreme Court to do that.
the Supreme Court voted prohibiting race from being used as a factor in college and university admissions.
It was perfectly normal for the Supreme Court to do that.
Indeed, the three most controversial decisions rendered by the Supreme Court this year,
all of them would, in my view, have been rendered by the Warren Court.
So what's abnormal is the expectation that the Supreme Court will always rule with the Democrats
or will always rule with the left.
That's not why the Supreme Court was constructed by the framing generation.
It was designed to be a check and balance on the excesses of the legislative and executive branches.
And I think it's doing its job.
I disagree with some of the Supreme Court decisions.
I agree with others.
But to call it not a normal Supreme Court shows ignorance of history and also feeds the extremism that we have today in our country.
Today, again, you have to pick sides.
You're either on one side or the next.
Nuance has died.
And nuance is the essence of liberty, being able to understand all sides of an issue.
Yeah, yeah.
Let's stay on the current incumbent for a moment.
I'd like you to help me with legal analysis.
We have every day new revelations from Congress, from Comer, from Jordan and others.
As of Wednesday, we have an additional $20 million that was funneled from foreign entities to the Biden clan, ostensibly for what we do not know.
Has any crime been committed?
by the president? Or can you just get lots of monies for your family because
you're the vice president because you're a senator? Is this just mud-slinging or
have you seen something that would rise to the level of an impeachable offense?
Well it's always interesting when I go to Washington and I go to people's
houses, senators houses, congressmen's houses.
I remember when I went to George McGovern's house.
It was one of the nicest houses in all of Washington, D.C., on Foxhall Road.
And I said to myself, this is a man who never, ever earned a nickel outside of government or outside of teaching, and yet he has this magnificent house.
I don't have a house like that, and I'm free to earn any money I can in the marketplace of ideas.
And then, of course, I learned that Congressmen during those days could trade on inside information and could get inside information, and the inside trading laws didn't apply to them.
And there were lots of exemptions that still exist today.
that allow for people to do what, if any of us did, would be considered corruption.
Look, as I've said before, there is probable cause to investigate Hunter Biden.
Just because Whistleblower says something doesn't mean it's true.
It has to be tested by the truth-testing mechanisms of the adversary system.
But it should be tested and should be investigated.
And then the question arises, what if?
What if this is a hypothetical?
What if there's evidence that Joe Biden committed an impeachable offense while he was vice president or in the interregnum between vice president and president?
Does it count as an impeachable offense if he wasn't president?
Nobody knows the answer to that question.
Certainly nobody knows the answer if it happened while he was not in public office.
And right now, I haven't seen any allegations That he has done anything illegal while president.
The allegations tend to be while vice president and while he was a private citizen.
So let's see where the investigations go.
But certainly an investigation is is warranted.
And the fact that Hunter Biden worked for, I believe, one of the most corrupt firms in the history of the United States.
the Boies Schiller firm, which has been accused of more conflicts of interest and more bar charges.
And the fact that he learned his law as of counsel to that firm, and that firm has now produced the
judge who is going to be sitting on President Trump's Washington, D.C. case is very, very
disturbing. You know, when you have the man running against the president being indicted by
the man appointed by the president, Merrick Garland, it better be not only justice being done,
but justice being seen to be done.
And I strongly believe that trying this case in front of this judge, this Boies Schiller judge, in the District of Columbia, 95% anti-Trump, does not satisfy the appearance of justice.
And there should be a change of venue, and there should be a change of judges.
Because this judge worked at Boys Flex the Shiller, correct?
Yeah, yeah.
And not only worked there, but she learned at their feet.
Hunter Biden was up counsel, and also the firm had involvement in the Burisma case.
And it has, as I said, I even got the firm disqualified in a case on blatant conflicts of interest, and a judge in another case said that the conflict was so clear that even a first-year student should have recognized it, but they continued forward.
And so I doubt that this judge is really schooled in conflicts of interest and recusals.
And so...
And the quality of the special counsel, this individual who had an 8-0 slap down by the
Supreme Court, your opinion of Jack Smith?
Well, he's a tough prosecutor, and he's trying every trick in the book, trying to get a grand
jury from the District of Columbia rather than Florida, and trying to get a speedy trial
so he can get a conviction even if it's reversed after the election.
It will have the intended impact on the election.
I worry very much.
Again, when you're going after the man running against the president, you don't get prosecutors who are overzealous.
You don't get a president who says—the New York Times quoted him, April 19, 2022, saying, I'm very concerned about Merrick Garland.
He's acting more like a ponderous judge.
Then a zealous prosecutor, that's a paraphrase.
And that message was sent to Garland.
And then Garland goes ahead and does this.
When you have that kind of a case, you know, you're earning bananas.
I think we're up to two or three bananas on a scale of 10 for a banana republic.
And going after the man running against the president earns you bananas.
And every day on my show, on my Der Show, I give bananas, and we're up to three, but we'll see if we get to ten.
We're up to a rather expanding bunch of bananas.
The book is Get Trump from our special guest, the threat to civil liberties, due process and our constitutional rule of law.

Perhaps the most important...
When I was a professor many moons ago, I would always tell my students
there's only one question that matters in academia, in higher education.
It doesn't matter whether you want to be a counter-terrorism expert like me
or you want to be a brain surgeon. The only question that matters is the so what.
So, we've diagnosed the problem with the First Amendment, civil liberties, you've written another book on the topic.
What do we do about it, Professor?
You are intimately familiar with the education system, how there is no freedom of thought, tenure has created groupthink amongst the academe.
Is there any way to unravel this?
What is the antidote to help slow down America's slide into becoming a banana republic?
Well, we're not a banana republic.
We still have free elections and we still have freedom for you and me to speak and have a marketplace of ideas open to us.
And as long as we have that ability to hopefully influence future generations, we're not a banana republic.
I worry that our justice system is coming close to that.
First of all, I think the framers made a terrible mistake by creating one Justice Department.
I do think that the British model, the Israel model, the European model should be followed.
There should be two separate offices, one a political office that advises the president on legal matters.
In England, it's called the Minister of Justice.
In Israel, it's called the Minister of Justice.
They're political.
They're overtly political.
But they don't make decisions about who to prosecute.
In the United States, the political appointee, the cabinet member, makes the decision whether to prosecute.
There should be a separate branch of government, perhaps even under the judiciary, but it should be a civil service branch, which decides who to prosecute.
Not taking orders from a president.
Not reading the New York Times that says, gee, the president who appointed you and you serve at his pleasure, thinks you're going too slow and wants you to prosecute the
man who's running against me for president. There's something inherently wrong with that.
And, you know, there are problems as well.
It's going to get worse because the universities are turning out students that are less and less
tolerant of diversity and free speech. I mean, one of the answers is a number of new universities
have popped up. And older universities have now committed themselves to a real free speech.
And I think people ought to send their children or the children themselves would decide to go
either to universities that No, you're taking chances.
courage free speech or to go to places like Harvard and Yale and stand up and
fight against the establishment. Know you're taking chances.
Maybe your grades will be reduced but you have to fight back against the tyranny
of the majority at universities today.
What a powerful message.
Two last questions.
It would be remiss of me, because we're in front of three and a half million listeners, if I didn't give you an opportunity to address some of the scurrilous attacks against you when it comes to associations with Jeffrey Epstein.
What do you say to those who say, oh, he's hiding something, there's something to his affiliation?
What is your response?
Well, nothing.
I made motions in court, opening everything up.
I want everything out there.
I don't want there to be any sealed material.
I was Jeffrey Epstein's lawyer.
I stopped associating with him once I found out what he had allegedly done.
I never met the woman who initially accused me.
And then she admitted, after all these years, she admitted that she may have confused me with somebody else, may have made a mistake in identifying me.
And so and dropped all of her claims against me.
And, and so I have been, you know, completely clear of all of those allegations, but people still persist in believing it.
I get emails every day, calling me by all kinds of terrible names.
I have never ever deviated from I, I've been with my wife now for 41 years.
And that's the only person I've ever been with.
And I'm very, very I'm very much in love with my wife and never did, never would, do any of the things that this woman and her lawyers falsely attributed to me.
But now she's admitted.
After all these years, after giving me so much difficulty and my children and my wife and everybody, she finally says, whoops, whoops, I may have mistaken you for somebody else.
Incredible.
Sounds like a Kavanaugh redux.
One last question that's of personal interest to me, because I don't like being in the White House.
The son of a man who, as a 14-year-old in occupied Hungary, escorted his Jewish schoolmates to class, passed Nazi troops to protect them from their buffets and spitting.
I don't like to be called a Nazi when my father protected Jews from Nazis.
You revealed the last time you were on the show that you were involved with The, I think it was 1972 or 1973 Supreme Court case Sullivan versus New York Times.
We have this absurd high standard for proving liable in America.
I know you're working on this.
Is there any chance that that absurd Supreme Court decision that demands an individual who has been lied against prove malice In the individual doing it at the time they smeared them.
Is there any chance that that can be undone?
It can be.
I was a law clerk on that case and its interpretations have gone too far.
Not only must you prove malice, you must prove it by clear and convincing evidence prior to trial in order to get to trial.
And this protects the right of CNN to deliberately, maliciously, willfully lie.
In my case, they doctored the tape.
They took out the key words, just the way the January 6th committee took out the key words in that case, peacefully and patriotically in my case.
They took out the key words in my answer in the Senate, where I said, if the president commits anything that's corrupt or illegal or unlawful, of course he can be impeached.
And then they have these clowns of Well, Dershowitz said a president can't be impeached even if he commits serious impeachable offenses, crimes, even if he commits murder.
And so that case is being litigated right now.
And alternately, we're asking for either a change in the rules regulating speech.
You know what I hear?
An interesting irony today, you're more protected if you're the New York Times or CNN making Lying, willful mistakes than if you're President Trump being indicted for making statements.
I mean, the standard of maliciousness is certainly the minimum standard you would think would be required to convict somebody of a crime.
And yet the prosecutor in the case is arguing for a lower standard, for a reasonable person standard, essentially.
So there's a major inconsistency there as well.
Well, if anybody can fix that, I think we've found the man.
