Number one, I don't think you know what the President's defense is, do you?
I mean, what are the facts?
I mean, Matt, look, we either believe in our judicial process in this country or we don't.
We either stand by the rule of law or we don't.
I just, what I would tell you is, I think, as someone who... But what I'm hearing is you're fine with Donald Trump being put in prison, sir, and that, to me, since you were his Vice President, feels pretty disrespectful.
I had a standard rule.
I don't talk about hypotheticals.
We don't know what the President's defense here is.
I think he's entitled to make his defense, entitled to have his day in court.
And look, let's take it one step at a time.
But I would just tell you that I... But if you know that these are political charges, and you do, this is not a difficult decision for me to make.
I think we've gotten what we're going to get here in terms of an answer to this one.
What was that?
I heard Clay Travis at the beginning and then at the end that was... Was that our buddy Buck shutting down the questioning, Jeff?
Yeah, but that was, in his defense, I cut out like three minutes before this.
Oh, oh, oh, okay.
All right, all right, thank you for the context.
That was, of course, my former colleague in the White House, Mike Pence, on the Buck, Sexton, Clay, Travis show, saying basically, I don't support the president anymore, and that you've got to trust the judicial system.
Why?
Why do we have to, why do we have to trust anything that the federal government does?
Do I need to give you a list, Mike?
Hi, I'm Sebastian Gawker, by the way, and this is America First.
Can I just give you a partial list for the last seven years?
Operation Crossfire Hurricane, the first ever tri-agency secret operation to spy on a presidential campaign using smear materials from Hillary Clinton that the then head of the FBI and CIA knew were smear materials and briefed Obama and Biden to that effect.
How about the entrapment of Mike Flynn for committing no crime?
How about the fact that Paul Manafort went to prison not for Russian collusion, as was the investigation about him designed to prove, but because of misstatements on mortgage applications?
How about Carter Page, who'd actually worked previously with the FBI to identify and neutralize Russian intelligence assets in America, who was targeted by the FISA courts, by the FBI, who had a document about him at the CIA forged to mean the reverse of what it actually stated, that he was an ally of the US government, into saying he was an enemy and a threat.
How about, oh I don't know, my boss in the White House, Stephen Bannon, being arrested on contempt of Congress charges.
Nobody gets arrested.
Eric Holder was in contempt of Congress.
Was Obama's attorney general arrested?
Of course not.
And if that weren't bad enough, assistant to the president.
I was only a deputy assistant.
Assistant to the president.
Highest ranking person you can be in the White House, outside of, you know, the Oval Office.
You've got Peter.
The economics and trade advisor arrested for contempt of Congress at Reagan Airport, put in leg shackles, and then strip-searched when he leaves a block from the DOJ and the FBI?
Are you kidding me?
You trust that judicial system, Mike Pence?
What are you talking about?
President Trump has been in negotiations for over a year with the DOJ, with the National Archives, cooperating with them, allowing the FBI into his home to inspect his archive, getting an all-clear.
Having his employees tell the inspectors, do you want anything else?
And they say, no.
And then afterwards his home is raided by the same FBI.
That's the DOJ.
That's the FBI.
We're supposed to trust Mike Pence?
What is it with these people?
Did we have audio, Eric, of Pompeo doing the same thing?
Stabbing his boss in the back?
Wasn't that like yesterday or the day before?
I did hear about that in the news recently, yeah.
So we have Pompeo saying, these are serious charges.
We have Mike Pence saying, well, you've got to trust the system.
What is it with these men?
I have to be explicit once more.
Nobody forced you to become part of the Trump administration.
You're not a GS-12 in the Department of Agriculture.
You are a political appointee, like I was.
I volunteered because I agreed with America First.
I agreed that the corruption in DC has to be stopped.
I remember you, Mike Pompeo.
Inviting me, wanting my support from inside the building, for your imminent nomination to become Secretary of State when you were still at the CIA.
And I said, sure, I'll sit down with you, Mike.
And we were in the Navy mess, underneath the West Wing, whatever it was, seven in the morning, having our bacon and eggs.
And you, man, did you sell yourself as MAGA.
These are his direct words.
He said, Seb, if I have to die on that hill, if I have to die on the hill of taking back the State Department for America and for President Trump, I'm gonna die on that hill, even if I fail, he said.
Even if I fail, I will die on that hill.
Really?
Really?
Really, Mike?
And then you get nominated and confirmed and a year later I get your Christmas card from the Secretary of State and the Christmas card doesn't mention Jesus or Christmas and there's a photograph with you and your wife in the main entrance of the State Department with a photograph of a piece of abstract art with dots and slashes With a little subscript.

I'm gonna say it now.

Mike Pence, you have no honor.
Pompeo, Pence, Bolton, you're a clown, you and your moustache.
None of you have any honour.
None.
Not a shred, not an iota, not a scintilla of honourable fibre in your bodies.
Why?
If you didn't trust this man, why did you volunteer to work for him?
If you worked for him for four years, and you didn't see any problems, Why are you turning on him now?
If you did have problems, if you were disturbed by him, why didn't you resign when you were actually in office?
Was the prestige, the money too important?
You're not men.
You're traitors to everything we hold sacred as men.

Yeah.
Yeah, that looks really interesting.
Are you on the road?
Are you somewhere else?
No, I've put up a fake background in my office.
Oh, it reminds me of the one Jack Carr has.
Jack Carr is like in this wooden kind of cabin thing whenever he comes on the show.
The funniest thing I have ever heard Tucker say in public is he did a pod with The Spectator like a year or two ago, and at the end of it, whoever was interviewing says something like, so Tucker, tell us something we don't know about you.
He, and he just like pauses for like one beat and he's in a wooden room like this.
He goes, I hate drywall.
I simply will not live in a house with drywall.
And he does like sort of a classic Tucker rant that's very anti drywall.
I completely agree.
It stuns me that, you know, you know where we live, so we're right outside the swamp, we're down the road from, you know, Pence's mansion or whatever, and people are buying up plots of land and they're building these, we call them the Mac mansions, and they're like 20 bedrooms or whatever, and you look at them as they're building, and they're literally made out of sticks, okay, like sticks of wood, and then the drywall is going to come.
We live in a brick house, not a brick inside, not even a concrete breeze block, and you think, This is America.
We put people on the moon.
Can we not just build houses out of matchsticks, please?
I completely agree.
It's super frustrating.
I know it's cheap, but seriously!
Exactly.
It's cheap, and these people are paying a lot of money for those houses.
Just build something nice that lasts.
They're building one around the corner, and they've listed already, and it's being built.
$22 million.
And you're going... Wow.
You're like... Wow.
And you know the Saudis or somebody are going to buy it for a residence or whatever, the Qataris or whatever.
Alright, so Fairfax County.
Okay.
Yeah, just, you know, 15 minutes from downtown.
All right, so much to discuss.
How long is the Newt cut, guys?
The Pompeo cut?
No, Newt.
Oh, Newt.
Oh, you have Pompeo?
How long is it?
It's 32 seconds long.
32.
All right, actually come in with that, then I'll do Angel Tree, then I'll go to Chris.
With Pompeo, Angel Tree, then Chris.
And I have, again, the cover's book, America and the Art of the Possible.
Yep.
And I'm working on that AG poll now.
Thanks.
Do you want to use the new audio?
Um, no, I don't need anything for this one.
Got it.
Pompeo, 30 seconds.
you Oh
First, if the allegations are true, and there's lots of indications that they are, President
Trump had classified documents where he shouldn't have had them.
And then when given the opportunity to return them, he chose not to do that for whatever reason.
That's just, Brian, you talked about me having classified documents.
I handled thousands and thousands of them over my time in Congress and then as a CIA director and Secretary of State.
I suppose we can all make mistakes and get them to the wrong place, but when somebody identifies that, you gotta turn them in.
And so that's just, that's inconsistent with protecting America's soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines.
And if the allegations are true, some of these were pretty serious.
If the allegations, because we trust the DOJ, right Pompeo?
I'm still steaming.
Him and Pence, we'll discuss that with our first guest of the day.
But before that, we've got two days left.
Yes, we finish tomorrow night with our Angel Tree campaign.

Chris Buskirk, welcome back to America First.
Thanks for having me.
Chris, help me out.
I want to talk about the stuff you just sent me moments ago.
I want to talk about a piece our friend Eric published on your site recently about a fascinating poll as well.
But I just lost it in the monologue.
I don't rehearse my monologues.
I don't have a script.
I just played this clip from Buck Sexton and Clay Travis' show where Pence just says, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, serious charges.
And you know, if they're true, got to pay the penalty.
Pompeo did the same.
And I just lost it.
I thought, you scumbags.
Nobody forced you to be members of the cabinet.
Nobody put a gun to my head.
Nobody put a gun to Pence's head.
You volunteered.
And for four years, you were just fine with it.
And now, two years later, we're supposed to trust the FBI and the DOJ.
Chris, what is it with these people?
It's pretty simple.
And I think you and your listeners all know the answer, which is that they really, seriously, intensely dislike Donald Trump.
And they want him out of the way so they can go back to business as usual from to the sort of 2015 or 2014 era where Donald Trump wasn't the shelling point in American politics.
They want to go back to the neocon way of doing things.
Mike Pompeo in particular wants to go back to what he really enjoys, which is droning weddings in far off countries and starting wars all over the globe that with that drag.
uh... american soldiers uh... into these into these bloody comets twenty years
in iraq one years in afghanistan uh... and that's really what it's about like
They have their own interests.
They have their own agendas around their careers.
But again, with Pompeo, this is a guy who, from the day he walked into the State Department to the day he walked out working for Donald Trump, he was undermining Trump's policies.
But Chris, but Chris, but Chris, I told the story that when he was being considered for the State Department, Pompeo, who I didn't know from a hole in the ground, but he knew I was, you know, in the White House, I could help him out potentially, he invited me to a private breakfast in the Navy mess, and he says to me the following, I don't know if I'm gonna get nominated, but if I am, and if I'm confirmed, I'm going to, quote, die on the hill of turning the State Department around for America and for President Trump.
He said, and if I fail, I don't care, I'm gonna die on that hill.
I mean, That means he's a bloody liar.
It absolutely means that.
You know, the late senator from North Carolina, Jesse Helms, had a funny comment about the State Department.
This was back in the 80s.
It says, you know, they've got like the, they've got the, back then it was the Soviet desk, and they've got the England desk, and the China desk.
He said, when are they going to get an America desk?
In other words, meaning, when are they going to start to seek out America's interests instead of Instead of getting involved in all these things and Mike Pompeo was cut from that exact same cloth and what he was telling you was just not true.
It was just really blatant careerism trying to get something new for his resume.
We all know he's wanted to run for president for a long time.
But would you, would Chris Boskirk, for example, work as a cabinet level guy inside the Obama White House?
Right?
Because this is what we're talking about, right?
He's working for somebody he hates.
Would you?
I couldn't do that.
I couldn't for a millisecond do that.
Could you?
No, it's just fundamentally dishonest.
I wouldn't do it.
Good.
All right.
Let's talk about honorable men.
Let's talk about my former boss.
I was with him in Bedminster.
I'm not going to put words in your mouth.
I think it's one of the best speeches he's given since he entered politics.
I think it's one of the most important historic speeches.
For maybe more than a century.
Tell us what you're finding.
You just sent me a poll.
Tell us about... I guess DeSantis didn't get the bump he wanted after the Bragg indictments.
What's happening to President Trump and everybody who's a potential candidate?
Yeah, so we've talked about it before.
At American Greatness, we're doing a weekly poll.
One poll per week of the four early primary states.
So South Carolina, New Hampshire, Iowa, and Nevada this week.
In fact, today we just dropped a new New Hampshire poll.
Donald Trump is up 32 over Ron DeSantis.
That's an increase of five points over our May poll.
So not only is he not getting the, you know, Governor DeSantis isn't getting the bump that I think they obviously wanted, but it's going the opposite direction.
Trump is actually widening his lead.
Interesting, just a little interesting factoid in that pulse.
The governor there, Sununu, we polled that just because it's New Hampshire to see where he would register because he sort of played with the idea of running.
Back last month he was at, I think it was three percent.
He is presently bowling at zero.
Yeah, the same Sununu who just said President Trump can't win anything and literally said every other candidate has a better chance of beating Biden, including you Sununu, you little papa's boy, and people like Asa Hutchinson.
He's a clown and he couldn't even get one percent, Chris?
Zero.

Right, Jeff, I'm sending you the new booker for Gingrich.
Oh, he's got a new... Oh, because I have an email in there.
Well, I don't know.
I just sent it to... Is it still Woody?
No, it's somebody else.
It might be the book team.
I think he's got a book thing out.
So just get him on.
Let's try and get him on for a one-on-one.
All right.
And we've got that cut of him if you want to use it here.
Oh, yes, totally.
Totally, totally, totally.
Chris, have you polled American Samoa yet?
That's the one Bloomberg won.
Oh, you're gonna poll Samoa.
Yeah, we're gonna have to get on that.
That might have to be a field trip for the family bus, Kirk.
America needs to know what American Samoans are thinking.
Well, I think DeSantis could win that if he focused on it like Bloomberg did.
I'll never forget in 2012 during the primaries I had a huge friend who was a huge fan of Ron Paul
and the only contest he won was the Virgin Islands and she was devastated when I told her that.
Ah man these people. The interesting thing about that was how many of the Ron Paul people became
hardcore Trump people.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's surprising.
I can see that pipeline.
Especially younger people, like people who were in their teens or twenties back then.
I think that was 2012, three or four years later, they became full mega.
Some people said Ron Paul was kind of like the Bernie of the right back in his day.
Yeah, I mean that's how you got Bernie, you know, bros voting for President Trump.

Let's play a cut from the great Newt Gingrich.
I love him.
He's not exactly a bomb-thrower like I am, like Dan Bongino and others.
But he said it.
Oh yeah, he went there on the war room.
Let's listen to the great Gingrich.
This is a remarkable country with extraordinary people who are being crippled by their very own government and crippled by an anti-American faction largely in the universities and to some extent in the news media and in the corporate CEOs and in the bureaucracy.
But we have a great capacity to fight our way back.
And the truth does have a tendency to come out.
You're seeing this happen now with the FBI.
I mean, I thought that the Durham report was devastating, followed up on the report of the inspector general, which was devastating.
The fact is, we need a bill to break up the Federal Bureau of Investigation and replace it With much more reasonable law enforcement systems and eliminate the entire senior leadership.
I mean it's clearly a corrupted institution, deeply politicized on the left.
Isn't that big Chris Buskirk that Newt Gingrich is saying the FBI cannot survive after this latest indictment?
That was not on my bingo card for today.
No, that's surprising to hear Maybe not.
I mean, I guess it's surprising because it's Newt, right?
I mean, Newt is like, is a very measured guy.
He's very smart.
I mean, he knows American history very, very well, famously so.
And that's not a place that I would have expected him to go.
And that's something that probably pained him to say, and it probably took him a while to get there.
Just kind of see what's going on, think through it, look back at the history, even starting with J. Edgar Hoover and say, you know, we need to, we just need a better system in this country so that there can be There can be full trust, transparency and accountability between the American people and law enforcement.
All right, I need a kind of sanity check because I'm so close to the fire here in D.C.
and then hanging out with the President and his supporters.
I want your prognosis because you've got your finger on the pulse of American greatness.
You're doing these polls, fascinating polls, especially the latest one.
Another poll from American greatness that our friend Eric wrote up is shocking.
Harvard poll.
Nearly 70% of Americans want the border to be secure.
So here's my question to you.
I don't know how many of our fellow Americans read the Durham report, read the Smith indictment.
It's, you know, sad case, you know, political addicts like us that actually read this stuff.
Could that actually become the issue for the next election?
You know, rule of law in America?
Or is it going to be things like this?
That people want the border secure?
Is it going to be, you know, the economy stupid?
Has corruption... If Newt Gingrich is saying get rid of the FBI, has the corruption in the swamp crescendoed to such a point that it will be the issue?
What's your expectation for 24, Chris?
I think immigration and the border continue to be a really, really big issue.
I've seen this consistently in polling work that we've done over the past couple of years.
It's obviously a very big issue for Republicans, that's not a surprise, but it's a big issue for most independents.
It's one of those things, it's a big issue, top three issue for 80-90% of Republicans, it's maybe 50-60% of independents, and then maybe it's 30 or 40% of Democrats.
But the point is that it's still 30 or 40% even for Democrats.
I guess we almost forget that there is a subset of people, kind of your normal middle American Democrat, not your
super woke lib.
It's a shrinking minority, by the way.
There's fewer and fewer of them all the time.
But they may be in favor of more immigration, but they want it to be legal, and they want to be in a country that actually has control of its borders.
It's not just like, there are these people like, I'm coming to America for a better life.
There's also a lot of human trafficking going on.
Like, there are sex slaves being pulled across the American border by the cartels.
The reality, I think, is finally sinking in with people that there is a slave trade going on at the American border and the fact that we do not have control of the border makes the government complicit in that.
Yeah, it's corruption at DHS just as much as it is corruption at the FBI and the DOJ.
All right, I'm going to post that poll.

And then I was like, oh, okay, okay.
Yeah.
No, I, I, I held it up for everybody to see and then I gave it to his, uh, his PA.
Yeah.
That's one of my favorite Trump moments ever.
Do you remember that one rally in 2016 where he invited someone on stage who was like a business owner whose business had shut down or something?
And he literally just like ran on stage and after a moment he just hugged the baby.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
Classic.
And you could see the guy was crying.
I love that moment.
Classic.
That and the baby Trump.
What's the baby Trump?
The baby that the parents had dressed up just like him with like the blonde hair and the suit and everything.
Oh, funny.
He's like, do you want to go back with mommy and daddy or do you want to stay up here with Trump?

Let's go to Keith in Florida.
Hello, sir.
Thank you for taking my call.
I'm calling from work.
My old junk cell phone.
I hope you can hear me alright.
That's pretty good.
It's pretty good.
Okay.
Last time I talked to you, I'm the guy that had Alvin Bragg's phone number, the scumbag.
Yes, good for you.
God bless.
Thank you.
Yes, sir.
And thank you for the passion that you have, because there's one other guy, Christopher Hart.
You know him.
He was there with you a while back.
But he gets fired up, too.
You and him's my two favorites, because we need to be fired up.
The communists have took over the law enforcement.
And, sir, I know you ain't gonna like what I have to say.
But I believe, I know they can rig a jury just like they rigged the election.
If they lock up President Trump, I feel like, I know you ain't gonna like it, but I feel like it's time for one million American patriots to rise up and let's kill every one of them.
That's the way I feel about it.
Let's do what?
Let's do what, Keith?
Rise up and kill every one of the commies.
Kill them?
You want a civil war in America, Keith?
If it comes down to it... Do you know how many people died in the last civil war, Keith?
Yes sir, I do know.
Yes sir, 500,000.
Yes, 600,000.
It's the deadliest war in America.
You shouldn't wish that on our nation.
Thank you, Keith.
Ray Livermore, Line 5.
Dr. G, thanks for taking my call.
I'm going to use this point to lead into why I called.
Trump seems to be a sort of truth serum.
We were told that he's dividing the people, but what he really did was make people pick sides.
You couldn't sit on the fence anymore.
And this truth serum has exposed the saboteurs, Pence and Pompeo, Romney, Christie, Sununu, all of them.
They rode along for their own good, but were off the train as soon as they could see a step up for themselves.
Now, Trump surrounded himself with generals, and being out of the military, an enlisted man, a dragon gunner, paratrooper, infantryman, I had great respect for the officers above me.
And after leaving the military, I thought for the longest time, having officers in charge in the civilian sector would be a good thing.
But people like General Kelly and Pompeo and Milley and many others have proven me wrong, and they're shaking my faith.
In one institution that I thought was unshakable, Dr. G, and it's bad enough for the banks in our monetary system to be shaken, there are pharmaceutical companies in the medical system, our schools and our universities, but when I'm losing faith in the men that I had so much respect for, I'm telling you, Dr. G, I'm having trouble with this stuff.
You just don't know who to trust anymore.
Well, I got a good rule of thumb.
You should trust people who are under the rank of O5.
How's that?
Well, that's it.
The colonels were, and some of the captains, there were some duds, but I never thought that they were unfaithful to our country or un-American.
They were just weaklings or maybe not the right man for the position, but I never thought that they would be like a General Milley.
Uh, there was a guy who wrote a book calling, uh, gosh, what was the guy's name?
Oh, I can't think of it, but he called these generals in the Pentagon perfumed princes that once you get above O5, That it's all political.
It's all sharp elbows.
It's all about maneuvering for position.
It has nothing to do with your command or your men any longer.
Yeah, I mean, think about it.
Think about the fact, Ray, that they made Petraeus, David, even today, I mean, the mainstream media, brown noses, and inside the military, Petraeus was portrayed as the exemplar of what it means to be a flag officer, what it means to be a general.
This is a guy who we know had an affair with a journalist while he's director of the CIA and giving her access to classified documents to write her objective memoir about David Petraeus.
If that's the guy, If that's the guy who's the role model, then you know the institution has to be, has to be reformed from the ground up.
Anybody, you know, like Colonel Halfbird or below, probably decent, as soon as they see the chance of a star on their shoulder, it all becomes political.
I saw that.
I worked at Fort McNair at National Defense University, where we have the capstone, which is the course everyone who is about to get a brigadier, you know, a one-star goes through.
And I saw it on all of them.
This kind of, oh, the dazzle in my eyes.
Now it's DC, now it's the Pentagon, now it's politics.
It is a very, very, very bad thing for the military.
Thank you, Ray.
We'll get back to your calls momentarily.

Daryl!
Hi, Sebastian.
Yes.
Hi, Sebastian.
You know, I was telling the person I answered the call, I was listening yesterday morning to Hugh Hewitt's radio show here in Columbus, Ohio, and it was exactly 8.20 in the morning, and he was interviewing a person, I believe it was a congressman, And he said something, in fact I can't quote him directly, but last night I went on the Salem media website and confirmed it, that he said something to the effect that, whether they were talking about whether Trump should be exonerated on these charges or convicted, and he said something to the effect that he should be convicted but not punished, and it would be better for the country if that were the case.
And I could not believe that somebody That is a person that works for Salem Media would say something like that, especially someone that claims to have the credentials that he does.
But why?
Why?
This isn't a propaganda outlet.
We're not giving our scripts.
Each host is not censored.
Why do you believe that?
I think Hugh Hewitt is absolutely wrong.
It's a travesty to say that.
And I'll tell that to his face.
But this isn't NPR.
We don't read from a script.
Each host has to say what they believe.
True enough.
True enough.
But what I'm saying is, if he has that type of opinion to me, he shouldn't even be working for Salem Music.
That's my opinion.
Yeah, that's your opinion, but you don't run Salem Media, so I will take that up with Hugh Hewitt, but that's the beauty of America, at least on our side of the fence, Daryl.
We believe in freedom of speech, but Hugh Hewitt is wrong, and that statement is un-American, because nobody should be convicted.
It's not up to Hugh to make that decision.
And as a former DOJ employee, which I think he was, he knows better.
Randy Knoxville!
Thank you, Dr. Gorka.
Yeah, I think Hugh Hewitt belongs in the same group with those other snakes in the grass that you had the fortitude to call them out what they are, backstabbing skunks like Pence and Pompeo.

That's why I listen to you every day, Dr. Gorka.
And I want to tell you something.
I know I've got 15 seconds.
Jake Tapper on NPR told everybody how he used to date Monica Lewinsky.
Oh, we know Monica Lewinsky.
I know.
Stay on the line.
Let's get a challenge coin to that great caller, Randy.

OK, polling!
It's all a crock of crap.
Can I say that?
Well, I just did.
Except for about two or three guys that I trust out there.
You know who they are.
And one of them, well, he's up next.
And he's from Trafalgar.
Robert Kahaley, are you busy right now?
Very much.
And this stuff keeps happening.
Yes, the political environment now is where you've got it all set and you're ready to go and deal with the poll and you have to scrap the whole thing and start over because something new happened.
Yeah, the moving target every single day, the one I want to discuss right now.
Let's put it up on the screen, Robert.
We have from the Daily Caller your poll.
Majority of Americans believe Biden family took foreign influence payments.
Robert, tell us about your poll.
Well, there's no question about it.
It all feels right back into how people feel about this.
It's what's going on with the president.
These things aren't, people don't feel this way in a vacuum.
So imagine a world where the majority of people feel that way.
Well, that's where we are now.
So what I have found is as you now come and subdivide, How do you feel about the president?
Yeah, there's a segment of people who believe, all right, nothing they say about Trump is true because the Democrat Justice Department is saying it.
Just as there's a segment of Democrats who believe nothing they say about Biden is true because Republicans in Congress are saying it.
But what we're trying to say is the majority of Americans Now believe that Biden's family did something nefarious.
And so in every one of their minds, there's a calculation going on.
There's a hierarchy.
Let's just say, for the sake of argument, everything they're saying President Trump did is true.
And he's guilty of it.
How does it compare to being paid by a foreign country To change American foreign policy.
And the fact is, when you look at that math, Biden doesn't win that math.
So let's, I'm sure you do issue polling as well.
We're about a year away from, you know, deciding who the nominees are.
What are you seeing at Trafalgar when you talk regarding issues to voters?
Because after the indictment, was it, hang on, was it really this week?
When was President Trump indicted, Eric?
It was just Tuesday.
Announced it last week.
My gosh, I can't believe he went to Miami two days ago, wasn't it?
This is what the next year and a half is going to be like, guys.
I warn you, it's going to be firehoses.
Yeah, the announcement and then the actual indictment.
OK, so we're in the midst of that.
We're dealing with the blowback, the incredible reaction in Miami, Bedminster.
But it has been said, and you know this better than most, Robert, that, you know, it's pocketbooks.
It's the economy stupid.
In a year and a half, will that still be true?
Or given the enormity, when we're talking about a former president being indicted, when we're talking about evidence in front of Congress of the current president literally taking bribes from foreign nationals, could we see those kinds of issues actually be driving voter behavior?
What trends are you seeing, Robert?
Well, what trends we're seeing now is people still want to know, and this is to the Republicans and the Democrat detriment, why aren't you focused on my every day?
You're not focused on the cost of gas.
You're not focused on the cost of child care.
You're not focused on the cost of health care.
You're not focused on my daily life.
And when the Republicans have messed with, or at least Trump, when I've seen him have these messages of, hey, let me tell you what I would do.
And he goes, in order, I would do something about lowering the price of energy.
I would do something about ending this war.
And then explains how that would relate to a kitchen table.
That is powerful.
I do think that we will still see kitchen table issues because there are, I mean, certainly not enough, but there are a significant amount of Americans who go to work every day.
And a lot of these Americans are making ends meet with credit cards and things are really getting tight and things aren't going to get better.
And so the only issue that I see creeping up that could overwhelm that is farm policy to the extent of people being very, very scared.
So you mean, you know, China invades Taiwan, it refocuses the average voter and they feel afraid.
Well, I mean, even worse.
I mean, let's say, let's say what happened, you know, we're hearing about the nukes going to Belarus.
Yeah.
I mean, you know, let's say we're six months away from the election.
And Russia decides, via Belarus, to do a tactical newt to give them an advantage.
That's the kind of stuff that makes you forget about the fact of how much bananas cost.
And then you want the toughest leader you can find.
Then you don't care if they're a bastard.
You want somebody who's going to be strong as heck against the foreign countries.
And you're looking for a different type of leader.
So as long as Trump is talking about making things cheap on your dinner table and being strong on the bar level, he's in a good place.
It must be difficult to be the other candidate.
And that's what I talk about every day.
These guys, this is a monumental task.
Like I always say, you're trying to bring about a mutiny on a submarine knowing that The guys that you need to run the submarine are very loyal to the old captain.
Now how are you going to pull that off?
Right.
This is the peculiarity of the last few months, Robert, that we have people on the right who are running and, for example, the governor of Florida who thinks he can outflank on issues Well, and that's the truth.
from the right. I mean attacking President Trump on abortion I don't
think that's going to work with with the base of support that seems to be locked
in for the president no matter what.
Well and that's the truth. I mean the thing is abortion is not the place you want to go at Trump on
considering that he's the one who put the conservative justice on the court that
actually gave you know you don't have the right to talk about abortion in your
state without what he did.
So keep coming at him with issues.
I understand.
It makes sense.
I think they're all trying to do what they think is best.
But it's a hard thing because they're trying to take out a leader with this kind of a personal following.
And get that personal following back on their side.
That's really hard.
It's not impossible to do.
We're talking to the chief pollster for the Trafalgar Group.
You can trust them.
TheTrafalgarGroup.org.
Follow him at Robert Kahaley.
We've got a minute left, Robert.
In 2016, Trump voters just didn't tell the pollsters they were voting for Trump.
Isn't that going to be doubly so in the next year and a half?
I definitely think there's going to be.
We call that the shy Trump voter.
Republicans are very, very suspect of polls.
They're hesitant to say what they believe, especially when speaking to a live person.
But I will also say Republicans in primaries are also very suspect of polls.
They don't know who they're asking.
And so you might see some Republican primary results that seem very different in the polling.
And we're going to have to work pretty hard to make sure that's right.
Not that we're going to have shenanigans on primary elections because we don't have problems there, but it's just that people are getting wise and they don't let it be put in boxes.
Thank you for doing what you do.

legal correspondent for The Federalist, Margot Cleveland.
Welcome back to America First.
Oh, thanks so much for having me.
I don't even know where to begin in the flurry of news in the last few days.
The indictment of the president, the Coma press conferences, on and on and on.
Perhaps, tell me if you want to begin elsewhere.
I have in front of me a piece you wrote for The Federalist on the source, the confidential human source that has provided this information on the $5 million bribe to the Biden family.
Perhaps we could start there?
Oh, absolutely.
And don't forget, it was five million to Hunter and five million to Joe.
Yeah, people miss that, that it's five for the big guy, and it's five million for Hunter Biden as well.
So tell us why this isn't just some random guy off the street and why this source is significant.
Sure.
So we have significance here for both the confidential human source, because he was a highly credible according to the fbi
source who worked for ten years they paid him over two hundred thousand dollars
and he worked under the obama byton administration as well so
one he's a good guy
second the confidential human source with
but typically having a conversation with the owner of berry's not
and it with the owner who him spoke of these bribe and spoke of being co-operative into
paying them Hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on.
The owner of Burisma was coerced into paying the bribes.
But let's say, important question, who was coercing him?
One of the Bidens or both of the Bidens.
It wasn't clear which it was, but it was the Bidens that were coercing the payment of the bribes.
And what I think is really key to understand here is what my sources gave me with this context.
It really would be nice if the House didn't back down and say, OK, we don't need to release the 1023.
But they did.
So what was helpful was to learn that the context here was the confidential human source had spoken with the Burisma owner several times.
And the 2015-16 time period was when Biden was still the vice president.
Yes.
And the point person, the president's point person for Ukraine policy.
Absolutely.
The point person for Ukraine, which was very key.
And the confidential human source was advising Burisma.
Burisma was saying, well, we're looking to buy something in the US.
The confidential human source says, stay away from the Bidens.
Get your, get things cleaned up.
And, you know, get rid of any of these investigations going on.
Stay away from the Biden.
Let me just unpack that.
So people need to understand Burisma wanted to look good and wanted to buy an energy company in America to get a toehold in here.
However, they were being investigated for corruption in Ukraine, and so the confidential human source was saying, uh-uh, uh-uh, uh-uh, stay away from the vice president and his son, first you've got to clean up your act.
Which all ties into what, Margo?
It ties into the vice president telling the then president of Ukraine, fire the chief prosecutor who's investigating Burisma, or you will not get the billion dollar of credit loans from the U.S.
government.
Right, and that's the part that is interesting, how it very much mirrors what happened with Romania, which is exactly what Congressman, oh gosh, James Comer said, that this is a replica of what happened with Romania, where Biden comes out and says, we've got to fight corruption, while they're getting payments from one of the biggest guys who's involved in corruption, and they start coming Payments start rolling into the banks right after Joe Biden went out and made that speech.
So I think that's a fascinating point, too.
And a lot of people missed the May release of a memo that went through these bank records that had been subpoenaed.
And I say a lot of people.
I missed it, too.
I only came across it about a week ago and realized that They have bank records that are showing this, and it wouldn't surprise me when they continue to get them that they're going to see the same sort of payments coming from Ukraine.
To the family?
Yes, to the family, but not to the family directly.
Shell companies, more than 20 different shell companies.
Do we know, Margot, What they were bribed to do.
Do we know what the source said was the change in policy that was effected by the Obama-Biden administration in exchange for the 5 million dollars?
Sorry, the 5 million times 2.
Right, so what my sources told me was it was to protect Burisma.
And it wasn't just the idea of the firing of the prosecutor, but just to protect.
So it could be that the protection came by going out and, you know, distracting from what the investigation was or saying, no, that wasn't being investigated.
But it was in general to basically act as the protector for Burisma.
And one way of doing that was getting the prosecutor fired.
In your experience, you have 25 years in the federal law clerk and full-time university faculty in law.
Have you ever seen it where the FBI denies the existence of a document, admits it exists, refuses to hand it over to the oversight committee, then says they'll give it to the chair, and when they give it to the chair and the committee, it's redacted despite the fact that it isn't a classified document.
Have you ever seen that, Margot?
I haven't, and I don't think anyone has.
I think we are living through a time that has no comparator.
The weaponization that we are seeing and the protection of the Bidens, it has no historical analog.
It never happened before, although I fear that it will continue to happen in the future with the protection of Democrats and the targeting of Republicans.
That's why the good guys have to win in 2024.
In the meantime, we are on uncharted waters.

Titles for that and for Robert.
What was the most important thing she said there?
Maybe emphasize that it's more than five million dollars.
Yeah, it was actually five million dollars for Hunter and then and in caps and for Joe Biden.
And five million for Joe Biden.
Mm-hmm.
And for Robert?
Um... The stuff he said in the break was interesting.
How DeSantis is just so boring.
That's what he was saying.
He's so right though.
No, but he is!
And that's why...
It seems like there's so many people in the media that support him because they already are into it anyway.
So the boring doesn't bother him.
But the normal person, he's just boring to.
What do you mean they're into it?
Because you're already into politics, already interested, so you don't need... You know what I mean?
They think personality doesn't matter, basically.
Right, right, right.

Um, okay.
Come on, title.
What did he say?
Because you talked more about the Biden thing.

Um, yes.
Most Americans believe Biden took the bribe.
Believe Biden took the bribe.
Alright, what have we got here?
Plain cut four.
Oh, okay.
Cut four.
In recent years, we have put government bureaucrats between parents, children, and doctors when it comes to medical care.
And now we have this, where if a parent does not support the ideology of the government, they're going to be taken away from the home.
Now, I agree with both Senator Wiener and Senator Laird that today, it only involves divorce proceedings.
And frankly, a judge can already factor this in.
But I can assure you, it's not going to end with divorce proceedings.
In the past when we've had these discussions and I've seen parental rights atrophied, I've encouraged people to keep fighting.
I've changed my mind on that.

Pennsylvania Oh yeah Sebastian
Hi.
Thank you for taking my call.
You're welcome.
It's a first-time caller, too, so I'm a little nervous, but, you know, I listen to you every day, but I used to listen to Rush all the time, and when things got really, really tough, he'd always say, Don't worry.
Don't worry about it.
It's going to work.
Just wait.
It's going to work out.
You know, I protested peacefully.
But I protested because I live in a small town in Pennsylvania and we're all Trumpers up here in the mountains.
And I put out every flag I had for Trump.
That's how I protested.
I have cried with him.
I've laughed with him.
But the only way I get through every day is listening to Rush in my mind saying, don't worry about it.
And I picture myself.
Remember how I used to stand on the edge of a pond or at the creek?
And you'd pick up the biggest rock you could find and you'd skip it across and it would take a deep dive and then all of a sudden it would come back up and it would make it to the other side.
That's Trump.
And we're going to make it.
I love it.
I love it.
It had to be a very smooth rock, a very smooth one to do that.
And that's who the president is.
Hard as a rock.
but oh so smooth the attacks just bounce off him. You're a poet we love it Diana

Hi Dr. G. Hey. I'm not sure if you played that that clip before just to prove that I
already called up and told you that I was wrong but I'm gonna risk it again. I'm not sure if
Donald Trump is the guy that's going to be able to beat Joe Biden.
Because?
I'm afraid.
I'm not sure.
And I'm afraid.
I'm afraid.
Well, fear is un-American.
I understand that, but fear also motivates.
All right, so what's the point of your call?
Well, I don't know if he can stay on topic.
He needs to stay on the topic.
Clearly, you didn't listen to his speech at Bedminster.
Let's go to somebody who understands.
Let's go to Mary in Georgia.
Good afternoon, sir.
I just want to tell you thank you so much for standing by President Trump.
Another thing, going back to that First Lady, talking about Mr. Rush Limbaugh, I know he has never endorsed any candidate, but when he, before he passed away, he has said that President Donald Trump is his hero.
And he meant it, and it just got to my heart.
We must not betray President Trump.
We must stand by him because he's the He's the one who's stood by us and stood by America for six years now.
You're absolutely right.
Thank you, Mary, for understanding, unlike our previous caller.
More of your calls here in a moment.

You've got nothing to lose except the pain.
relieffactor.com 800-500-8384 relieffactor.com It says Trump can't stay on topic though
The whole idea with like when he does those rally speeches and he suddenly goes off on tangents, that's his style.
But that's what we love.
Yeah, it's conversational.
I think Scott Adams said it's conversational.
It's like two dudes You know, in a diner, talking about anything, and they'll go off on a tangent about a story that is vaguely related, and then they eventually circle back to the previous point.
Like, it's... It makes it feel more personable when Trump talks a rally than, you know, a politician just giving the speech, doing the hand gestures that a Clinton or any other politician would do.
Alright.
Oh, I've got to call out the, um, the 20.
The truth is, it's not.
The 20?
Where's that list?
Play me seven and eight, please.
Here's seven.
We're going to keep asking and demanding answers to the alleged bribery scandal.
This makes Watergate look like a nothing burger.
Newsmax will be the central headquarters for covering the alleged Biden bribery scandal, which has implications for every American.
If Biden indeed sold us out to foreign interests like China, Well then that's the real reason President Trump was indicted.
They're hoping we fall for their diversion, but we won't.
We will continue to follow the evidence about the big guy and his family engaged in corruption.
So stay tuned.
What can he offer prosecutors?
Other than his confession, his cooperation.
I mean, this is a crime he could only commit because he was in high public office.
Spiro Agnew used that as a get-out-of-jail-free card.
It was not just that he was vice president, it was that prosecutors assumed he was about to become president because Nixon was teetering.
They were right.
And in order to keep Agnew out, they traded him essentially jail time for his resignation.
Nine.
Nine.
Forget her disastrous ruling where she was humiliated.
Forget that.
I'm shocked that this continues to move forward and she's not recusing herself because she's woefully ill-equipped to do this.
By the way, I'd say the same thing of the most progressive federal judge ever if they'd only had 14 hours of trial work.
But she's woefully ill-equipped to handle these issues.
So, is there no intervening?
Is there no way that that circuit doesn't step forward?
I'm gonna let guard rails let's get somebody that actually can handle this
Here's looking at you snowflake America first.
Yeah, here's looking at you.
And how do you look?
Are you ready for the beach?
Are you ready for the summer?
Could you lose a few pounds?
I was carrying a bit too many and I got rid of 42 of them.
Does that sound right to you?
Could you lose some weight?

I kind of gave up after 20 years of losing, gaining, losing, gaining.
And then I found Dr. Ashley Lucas and her amazing MyPhD weight loss team.

Don't go anywhere, Mike, Dave or Antoinette, but I promised this in the social media promotions for the show and we like to keep our promises.
20 Republicans Betrayed the American people yesterday.
And I quite literally mean that.
Betrayed them.
Why?
It should be pretty easy for anyone who believes in the truth who believes in justice to vote yes to censure the biggest liar on Capitol Hill.
And there's many to choose from, but Adam Schiff of California is that man.
Why?
Because non-stop, non-stop, he's still doing it, but for four years when we were in the White House, he called President Trump a Russian asset and said, as Chairman of the Intelligence Committee, I've seen the proof.
There is Russian collusion.
I can't tell you about it, but yeah, he's a traitor.
He lied.
He lied.
And he's still doing it.
I think it was Annapolina Luna brought the measure to censorship, which isn't a big deal.
It's like a slap on the wrist by Congress.
And 20, count them, 20 Republicans refused.
They voted with the Democrats.
To defend Adam Schiff.
Five of them from California.
I want you to know if one of them is your congressman.
So listen to the list.
Oh wow, look.
We've got a picture of them.
That's magic.
Biggest fraud of them all, I'm going to start with, is Thomas Massey from Kentucky.
He's not a conservative.
He's not even a libertarian.
He's a liar.
I was on a Twitter space with him and he called Devin Nunes the deep state.
The man who did most to uncover Russia collusion.
That's how dishonorable and how much of a hack liar.
Don't buy it!
He's not a conservative.
He's not even a libertarian.
Thomas Massey voted to protect Adam Schiff.
Others North Dakota, Kelly Armstrong, Oregon, Lori Chavez de Rima, Arizona, Juan Sissomani, Oklahoma, Tom Cole, Ohio, Warren Davidson, Pennsylvania, Brian Fitzpatrick from Texas!
Kay Granger.
From Louisiana, Garrett Graves.
New Jersey, Thomas Keene.
California, Kevin Kiley.
California, Mike Lawler.
Kentucky, Thomas Massey.
Scum.
California, Tom McClintock.
New York, Mark Molinaro, California, Jay Obernolte, Idaho, Mike Simpson, Ohio, Michael Turner, California, of course, David Valadao, and Arizona, Steve Womack.
Every single one of them is a traitor.
A traitor to their constituents, to their voters, and to the truth.
Let's primary all of these people into the dust.
Let's go to your calls, waiting patiently, Detroit, line 2, Mike.
Oh yeah, Dr. Gorka.
Yeah, I just hope people understand the contrast between who we're dealing with here, even the Democratic Party, the World War II Democrats who raised me, you know, and the Republicans.
You could look at the Roosevelts, Theodore, Franklin, Roosevelt, Eisenhower, and so on.
You know, there was a Roosevelt on Omaha Beach who was instrumental in a sense, you know, was very courageous, showed a lot of leadership.
And maybe created a turning point in that invasion, you know.
Well, he was wearing a uniform.
He wasn't wearing a diaper with a bunch of M&M's stuck to his body.
You know, I mean... You're completely losing it, Mike.
I have no idea what you're talking about.
Oh, well, it's one of Hunter's, you know, obscene videos.
Yeah, you should have opened with that.
You're being completely tangential.
Diapers with M&Ms, really.
Please, let's go to Dave in Arizona, line three.
Appreciate you taking the call, Dr. G. Great presence there with the boss as well.
Well done.
I want to encourage people to continue to contact their congressmen.
I contact Paul Gosar from Arizona CD9 every day, and I tell him to support the young women In the Congress, because they seem to have more cojones than Mitch McChina and Kevin McSwampy put together.
Mitch McChina!
I love that.
I love that.
Yeah, and Kevin McSwampy is a good one.
We've been talking about Hunter Biden and the scandal since 2019.
I was blessed to read a book by Peter Schweitzer, one of the Breitbart crew, that outlines all this.
And this is all well known.
The Marco Polo stuff is sexy because people get to see the videos and all that from the laptop, but this is also well known, and fortunately we're getting people in Congress, not enough of them, but we're getting people in Congress to finally hold the Biden campaign.
But here's my problem, Dave, and tell me if you disagree.
And thanks, Truck Grassley, for what you do, and for calling out the Bureau and everything else, but Dave, I don't want speeches from the floor of the Senate saying, somebody says somebody has some tapes.
That's like, you know, my fifth cousin, third removed, met somebody at the Safeway who said.
I mean, it's like, I don't want reports that somebody says the Burisma CEO recorded conversations with Joe Biden.
I want the bloody tapes, Dave!
I don't disagree with you, but did you happen to see the number two from FBI?
Yes!
The other day in front of the Senate?
Yes, we played it!
He's been in every way around a Sunday.
Yeah.
And unfortunately, we've talked about this before, the DNC's corrupt, the GOP's complicit, and the DOJ and every other three-letter agency is corrupt.
Well, thank you, Dave.
We've known that for years, unfortunately.
I'm just glad people like you and the mainstream media, you know, you can thwart their propaganda
and give us the truth.
Thank you, sir.
Well, thank you, Dave.
Look, if somebody as even keeled as Newt Gingrich not only goes on the war room, and I'll be
on there this afternoon, goes on the war room and then says, that's it, we have to dismantle
the FBI.
That's it.
Of course!
Then we understand the enormity of the situation.
Thank you, Dave.

To her, it was about the $16 million penalty, but she would have voted for it if they took that out.

I want him to pay more.
I think you should pay more than that.

Ha ha ha, nice.
Nice.
Of all people too, I did notice on Twitter, Roger Stone said that realistically, like obviously, a censure would
have been great, but that...
Schiff would have just paraded that around and used that to top up his credentials.

Coming in with cut two.
No liner.
I'm going to be doing a lot of this.

It's McCluskey.
It's Rittenhouse.

I taught for 20 years, worked in the Virginia Senate on education, etc.
And then, like you said, had a miraculous election, which I thank God Put me front and center, had no idea what was going on.
Still sorting it all out, but loved every minute of it.
Explain the whole, you know, the canter election and how, just like President Trump, you were not meant to win, Dave.
Right?
No.
Well, luckily, they thought it was a cosmic joke.
My daughter got all upset.
They were spending five million in negative ads on me, but with a stick man.
And they called me with a dunce hat and called me a liberal because I was a liberal arts professor.
Well, the people back home knew I was not a liberal.
And so that was five million in name recognition it gave me.
And then I ran on the Republican creed, you know, faith in God, Constitution, free markets, you know, separate powers, all the good stuff to prove that I was also a Republican and not just Tea Party.
And I said, the only problem with a Republican creed It's no one keeps to the creed, right?
There's nothing wrong with the creed.
But no one votes that way once they get to the swamp.
And so I ran and they didn't run a hard election against me.
And I won by 10 points.
And I was shocked.
I thought the establishment folks would hate my guts.
But it is a crazy place up there.
Personally, I was greeted and welcomed as a friend by most.
And I got along with the Republicans and the Democrats personally.
But then, as you say, after President Trump won, boy, the brass knuckles came out and it turned into warfare pretty quickly.
Now we're fighting for our country.
So the fact that you studied, after Arthur Anderson, you went to seminary, you studied theology.
My first degree, believe it or not, was philosophy and theology.
And I don't know if you agree with me.
I mean, I suffered.
I went 14 years with the Benedictines to school, then I went to college with the Jesuits, but the old school, the real Jesuits, not the commie Jesuits.
And I swear to you, my brain bled, metaphorically, for those years in college.
It was painful.
You know, Descartes, Augustine, you name it.
But I tell you, today, it's my contention that if you don't have a grounding in the basics of Western philosophy and the essentials of Christian theology, you're kind of lost.
You're like a piece of flotsam on the waves of the ocean.
Yeah.
Well, I don't think it's an accident, right?
I'm not being arrogant.
I'm trying not to be.
That view, that swath of the Judeo-Christian West is the synthesis between, you know, the Hebrew texts and then Athens, right?
The Greek philosophers and then Christianity, right?
And if you don't understand that, you do not understand the world you live in.
And so it's no surprise where you made it to, you know, being a leader in the White House West Wing.
That's not by accident either.
All right, so we're going to talk about all of that, but tell me what it was like as, you know, a man of letters, a studied individual, somebody who'd lived in the real world, who'd actually, you know, been a functional individual in the for-profit sector, to end up In a city where, you know, half of the people you're surrounded with are members of Congress because they couldn't function in the real world.
They wouldn't know how to build anything.
They were the bottom of their class like Joe Biden.
What was that transition like to go from the real world to the swamp?
Walk us through Dave Brat's experience.
Yeah, well...
I think it hinges into what we were just talking about.
The intellectual side, it doesn't matter.
I don't even care about that.
I'd rather have the first 100 people in the phone book running the country than Congress, because I care about the character part and the religiosity, the morality, the worldview.
The love of country that comes from our citizens.
And so, the classic joke is kind of funny.
The first year, you just pinch yourself, like, how did I get here?
And then by the second or third year, you're saying, how did they get here?
Like you just said.
And way too, when I was in there, there was about 20 or 30 of us in the Freedom Caucus that voted just common sense.
We're called radicals back then, right?
For wanting only a trillion dollar deficit.
And today that group is growing.
But back then, most of our Republican conference was just go along, get along.
A trillion dollar deficit, no questions.
And life is easy.
And boy, our country is showing the price we paid.
We're on our back foot on the wide open border invasion.
The China threat is now Just incredible.
It's our number one threat.
And then, you know, $50 trillion in debt in 10 years, just to name a few.
And so we're paying the price for that laziness of our side.
We're the adults in the room, so we should have acted like it.
And in our conference, there was no interest in any messaging bills, one after the other, but no substance.
Yeah, this is...
Not what I wanted to hear.
I remember being invited by Matt Gaetz to the members' dining room one day, which was fascinating.
When I walked in, you should have seen Steny Hoyer's face.
But I asked him, what's it like?
I mean, you know, it looks bad from the outside, but from the inside, what's it like?
And he said, on our side, We've got 40% of them, you know, couldn't function in the world outside.
20% are good guys, and you saw that with the vote for the Speaker.
And then the other 40%, literal quote, he said, they're the members of my party Who want to get the job that comes with the fireplace and the driver.
That's their priority.
They want to have that office in Congress that has the nice marble fireplace and the chauffeur-driven car.
That's not who Dave Bradd is, but sadly that is what we have in the swamp today.

Alright, I'm a bit worried about asking this question given that you are an economist.
I was in Greer, South Carolina with my colleague Mike Gallagher for a station event on Friday.
It was amazing.
Hundreds of real patriots.
We had the Rushing Brook Children's Choir sing the national anthem.
The children who were, you know, told not to sing the anthem in Congress two weeks ago.
It was an amazing experience.
And then the best part of these things always is not the presentations from me and my colleagues, it's the Q&A.
And we had questions handed in by the participants on little cards.
And I was shocked because both Mike, my morning colleague Mike Gallagher and I, had exactly the same response to the question.
And it had to do with the deficit deal.
And the question was, what does this mean for all of us?
How serious should we be about it?
What do we do about it?
And both Mike, who spoke first, and myself, we said, yeah, of course, it's an atrocity, you know, an additional four trillion that we know of.
But you know what?
It's irrelevant right now, because 14-year-old girls are having double mastectomies in the name of Re-engineering humans in the name of tolerance.
We have a hundred thousand hundred and ten thousand people dying from fentanyl poisoning in the last year crossing our border.
We've got a war in Europe.
We've got the transgender child mutilating flag in the pole position hanging off the White House as a fake man and a fake woman are bare-chested on the South Lawn. So Dave, you know, you've
got behind you the School of Athens painting that was actually on my
philosophy book in college on playtool. I was in Congress yesterday at a
hearing on transgenderism and except for two members every other
Republican didn't get it, didn't understand the stakes involved.
How is it, and we'll talk about the deficit, I want your take on the deficit, we'll get there, but there's a priority here, Dave.
The dark forces are unleashed, and why do so few quote-unquote leaders, even in our churches, understand Yeah.
Well, I think you just nailed it.
It is, if you want to get to the crux of it, it is a spiritual fall in this country.
Even the polling, right?
The Wall Street Journal a few weeks ago had us going from 70% religiosity down to 40% for America in the last five years.
And so that's devastating.
And it's a turn away from God.
And Romans 1, you know, we've chosen the creation instead of the creator.
When you have all these sexual deviancies and kids being mutilated, etc.
I mean, it's evil.
It's a spiritual war.
And it's a betrayal across the board of everything this country stood for.
And I think still the mass of people do stand for But they're being quiet, and they've got to quit being quiet.
The church needs to wake up.
Politicians are politicians, and we've created this class of non-leaders.
But Dave, I'm a cradle Catholic.
My church Genuflected in front of, you know, this little fascist called Fauci.
Where are the church leaders?
I mean, if there's any group of people who should be protecting the innocent, protecting children, shouldn't it be our pastors and priests?
Well, it should be, but they've turned into many businessmen and women also, right?
They're very scared.
They're scared of losing members.
They're scared of losing the plate.
There's exceptions, right?
There's huge numbers of exceptions.
But yeah, my denomination, right, the Presbyterians, etc., they went off the rails a long time ago.
There's still a remnant in some of the PC versions that are still old and strong.
But it's just a betrayal that cuts across all of those public policy issues you mentioned are all linked to a fall away from the Judeo-Christian West and its values and virtues.
Right.
And so at base, right, it's just the leftists are shaking their fists at God.
They hate their father.
They hate the family.
The Marxists are destructive in nature.
Right.
The Judeo-Christian West was constructive.
We built everything.
We built the hospitals, the charities like the kids you just talked about on the commercial.
We built every university.
Harvard's motto was truth for Christ and church.
Yeah.
When it was founded, Princeton, Yale, all of them the same thing.
We built the infrastructure that made the United States the superpower of the world, the rule of law.
The left cannot stand any of this.
They are trying to crack it apart.
And the culture can't believe this because you and I have been blessed with education.
So if you know the history of thought, at least you have a mental construct of what is being destroyed.
The average American hears about these things, you know, with Bud Light, and they just, you know, they laugh at first, because it's so absurd.
But they don't get the intellectual lines and the march through the institutions that have crushed all of our global institutions are now gone, right?
And now the U.S.
institutions, and the proof is in, right?
Before it was speculative, but now the FBI, the CIA, the Justice Department, The receipts are in!
And so now the people either stand up and the preachers As you say, stand up or we lose it.
We lose the whole shooting match.
Yeah, and if they won't stand up, then we have to lead the way.
The average parishioner has to lead the way.

So Dave, let's talk about it.
It's your expertise.
You're the Dean of the Business School.
What do Americans need to understand about the deficit deal and spending in America?
Because, you know, really, the average American, They probably, if you told them how many zeros were in a trillion, they'd say, really?
I can't even comprehend that.
So what should the layman understand about what America is doing with money and debt?
Yeah.
Yeah, well, probably the most important lesson comes from Milton Friedman, and that's that every dollar that you send into the government is not going to you and to the American business enterprise.
You're sending your money into central government, and every issue that Zeb just ticked off is a function of the ideology coming out of the cesspool Up in Washington, D.C.
So you are funding, right?
Back in 2015, the budget was $5 trillion.
Now it's $7 trillion.
And we just had a betrayal in the House of Representatives.
They voted on a $4 trillion cut package as a conference, which was miraculous.
Getting to vote through that group that actually cut some money was miraculous.
And then the Speaker goes up to the President and takes the President's budget.
I posted that on Brat Economics at Getter.
The line, the line, the eventual line of our agreement, the Republican agreement, was the President's budget, which saved nothing.
And we had compromised, we had Russ vote, we're going to save $17 trillion off of a $50 trillion debt.
That's Congressional Budget Office.
We're going to be $50 trillion in debt in 10 years.
And so we've just institutionalized, we've baked in, we've cemented in a COVID economy for the next four years.
Explain that phrase.
That's really important.
What is a COVID economy, Dave?
Yeah.
Yeah.
So the economy used to be $5 trillion, right?
And we had trillion dollar deficits back then, which were too much and they're unsustainable.
Then COVID came on and the government, this is key, the government shut down the entire economy.
And they shoveled out, they created money through the Federal Reserve System and borrowing, $2 trillion in borrowing to cover the entire economy.
Sent you checks, sent some businesses checks, etc.
Kept it afloat.
Okay, so then every estimate had the deficits going way down after that, right?
You can't keep doing that.
Everybody knew that.
Well, guess what McCarthy and the House just did?
They just locked in those $2 trillion deficits that were needed to send everybody in the country a check, and they made that the new status quo.
That is the new ongoing budget.
And it's like a ratchet, right?
When you ratchet up your car, when you're going to change the tire, the thing goes up, but it never comes down, right?
That car, you ratchet and it goes up, up, up, and it never comes down.
That's what we just did.
We ratcheted up the size of our government to $7 trillion.
So let me just give you one exciting, I just came across the thing, this gets me excited because I'm an economist.
But Brookings did a paper a few years ago, They don't explain the context of any of this, right?
China patents are going through the roof.
U.S.
patents are still going up a hair, but they flattened out and they're flat.
So we're lifeless.
The more meaningful chart was the next one, and it shows that 1% of firms that get patents do half of all the patents in the United States.
Wow, that's even worse than the Pareto principle.
Oh, and it's tied to the $7 trillion budget.
What does that mean?
If 1% of firms are doing all the patents, that means the rich big tech guys are getting all the patents.
And if they can't get them, they're buying off the small guy and crushing them.
So there's no startups.
There's no small business.
The big state and the sponsored entities, the buddies in the swamp, the big five tech firms, their market cap's bigger than all of Europe combined.
I'm going to ask you, I'm going to let you think about this question for two minutes, because you actually did a Vulcan mind meld.
We're not living in capitalism.
I want you to think about the answer.
What is it we are living in?
We're talking to the Dean of the Business School, Dave Brat, brateconomics.com.
I'm Sebastian Gorka.
We are coming to you from just outside the insalubrious fetid rank, malodorous noisome swamp where Dave once served.
If the communists get away with this, It won't stop with me.
They will not hesitate to ramp up their persecution of Christians, pro-life activists, parents attending school board meetings, and even future Republican candidates, which they do.
We must end it permanently and we must end it immediately.
Now that the seal, so important, is broken.
The seal is broken by what they've done.
They should never have done this.
This was an unwritten rule.
You just don't.
Unless it's really bad.
But you just don't.
But the seal is now broken.
The seal is now broken.
That was the president two days ago at Bedminster.
I was there for that speech, which I think is one of the most important speeches in modern American history.
We're talking economics with our friend Dave Brat.
I'll get back to the question I asked you a moment ago, but I don't want to do party politics, but Where are we right now?
You're a patriot.
You love America.
You understand the real world, the consequences of things like the debt ceiling.
But when you see a former president, irrespective of party, being targeted for political purposes by the most powerful government in the world, are you still an optimist, Dave, for America?
I'm on the edge right now.
My nature is to be optimistic and love people and that's the command.
But then you got to have open eyes.
And so, yeah, I really do see us, the Roman analogy, right, of going from a republic to an empire under, you know, Caesar Augustus.
And in our case, probably moving toward an oligarchy.
But when I was in Congress, it was interesting because back then we all knew even Paul Ryan wasn't in charge, right?
We'd ask him questions about big money moves, and he'd say, let me check.
And I'm like, who you checking with?
And I used to call that the giant Excel spreadsheet in the sky.
But that's the oligarchy.
Those are the oligarchs, the power centers that ran our party.
The oligarchy on the left is way more powerful.
They come together and form a uniparty where they agree, right?
And where they agree is, like, for example, one of the reasons we compromised so terribly on that debt ceiling increase is because the rich class knew if you had another debt debate, tax increases might come up and that would involve them.
They don't want tax creases.
So what do you do?
You put the next debate past the 2025 election.
You take all power away from the American people.
When we shut down the economy, the big firms got to stay open.
Mom and Pop, the all-American Mom and Pop, at home, taking care of their kids, running a small business, they were shut down by the federal government.
That's all you need to know, folks.
Once you see that happen, You better wake up, because this country is losing it.
And we can regain it very easy, right?
These Bud Light and consumer revolts, and pull your pension money out of any firm you don't like.
Find some pension fund that only invests in Christian firms, or whatever you believe in.
And we've got to take action, because what I see coming at us is just a catastrophic rise in centralized power.
And all of history was that, right?
Pharaohs, kings, tyrants, despots, all of human history until roughly modern economic growth in 1776 and a miracle on earth.
And it's up to you to preserve that miracle.
Yeah, I think part of this story, and let's return to the last question, is they can get away with this because of the indoctrination for decades in education that socialism is good, ignore the 40 countries that had it and created death camps, we can make it happen, and capitalism is evil, is bad.
Yeah.
Are we living in a capitalist country right now?
Is this capitalism where mom and pop, everybody, everybody gets shut down, but Amazon and Walmart can stay open?
What is the best descriptor for what we are living in?
Because it helps to reinforce these authoritarian principles when kids think that, you know, this is capitalism.
But it's not, is it?
No, and I don't really even think fundamentally it's an attack on capitalism.
I think it's a psychological decay and illness that is overtaking our culture, right?
Because the real attack is on the institutions and the rules that have made capitalism work.
The left, right, the communists want to take down capitalism and the elites and the rich But the globalists and the leftists and the neo-Marxists, etc., want to take down the whites, the males, the Christians, the rule of law, these kind of things.
So this is an ideology at work, right?
And that ideology is an ideology of hate.
The left, if you notice, they don't smile.
I just did a short summary the other day on the passing of Pat Roberts and Jerry Sr.
Falwell.
Those guys were giants in effect.
They're always smiling, hitting kids on the shoulder, whacking, telling jokes, bumping them with a pickup truck, practical jokers.
And Ronald Reagan, they had a pulse.
The left right now, they are so bitter.
And they wake up thinking, I hate this other side.
I don't wake up hating the other side.
But I don't want to psychoanalyze this, but it comes from self-hatred.
Yes, yes.
Right?
I don't hate myself.
I love America.
I love my fellow man.
These people, they have white guilt.
They hate themselves, and therefore they have to.
They can't deal with that, so they must project it onto their fellow American.
That's my take.
Right.
That's it.
That's what's going on.
It is psychological nature, and our schools are adding to this every day.
They just add on to the kids, you know, context and narratives.
They take away all the positive.
They add the negative.
And so the kids that they I hope the kids still love themselves, but boy, it's getting odd out there.
It's just getting crazy.
I'm going to ask you about those kids that you are helping mold into functioning patriots that live in the real world.
He's the author of the book, Proof That Principles Matter, and American Underdog, sorry, the other way around, American Underdog, Proof That Principles Matter.
Follow him right now, brateconomics.com.
All right, so here's the big question.
You're with them every single day.
I think Liberty is one of the biggest student bodies in America.
We look at these TikTok videos.
Alright, so here's the big question. You're with them every single day. I think Liberty is one of the biggest student
bodies in America.
We look at these TikTok videos, we look at the transition quote-unquote children.
Give me some hope.
Give our three and a half million listeners some hope that you are surrounded by young men and women at Liberty U who could be the future of America.
Yeah, Liberty, our mission is training champions for Christ.
All these young kids, I work out in the mornings.
I come into business school early in the morning.
All the kids do morning devotions.
They read a little bit of scripture, reflect on it, pray on it, talk with other kids.
And guess what that does?
If you do that every day, and I recommend this to everybody listening, that gives you a grounding in absolute truth.
And then when the barbs and slings and arrows come at you, and the challenges and temptations come at you, and Christians are every bit as subject to those as non-Christians, right?
None of us is perfect.
We all get tempted.
We all make failing decisions every day.
But if you stand grounded in that text and you keep your faith, boy, what a difference that makes.
And so our kids go out in the world.
They got a work ethic.
They still are positive.
They're constructive.
I got an email from an economist that hired one of our students yesterday.
He said, I hired one.
I want another one.
You guys are producing adults.
And that's a simple summary of what you just said.
Adults who are not entitled, they still have a work ethic, they got principles, they can read, write, do arithmetic, they've studied hard, they pray hard, and they're just awesome people to be with, right?
That's the key.
As I get older, I hear little tidbits.
It comes from the Irish a lot lately for some reason.
Something's going on.
But this idea of living with a sacred honor, I caught it in Europe quite a bit.
An English taxi cab driver, if you didn't treat them properly, they would let you know about it because it's a sense of honor, right?
They know what it is to be a human being.
It doesn't have to be pious or religious platitudes.
It's just if you're not treating people right, they'll let you know about it.
And our culture has lost that and we need to get that sense of a sacred honor back internally in us.
Yeah, yeah.
And your message to those who are beyond college years, the parents, the grandparents, don't they have a role to play as well, even if they're not the dean of a business school?
Oh, more of the role.
In our country, the family's the basic unit, right?
You know, the state shouldn't be running anything.
And so it's all on you.
And unfortunately, it's very hard, right?
I'd hate to be the parent of a 10-year-old again right now.
And have to have that cell phone debate with what you can watch, and you will not watch that, and I will take away your cell phone.
Because you know the refrain, yeah, but Dad, every other kid's doing it, right?
And that's where, as a Christian, you either make your stand or you don't.
And so, it ain't easy, and it's getting really hard to be a parent out there.
But, you know, the wine and cheese and the easy suburb circuit, If you're letting your kids coast, I guarantee it, it ain't going to end up pretty, right?
We got to get back to the mom and the dad running the ship and leading the Bible and living it right and being an example of what ethics and integrity look like.
And so we all got to do our best, even if we failed in the past, which I certainly have.
It's time to do our best today.
It is the primary building block of our civilization.
It's not tribes.
It's not clans.
It's not empires or dynasties.
It is the family.
The book is American Underdog.
I could go on for hours.
Proof that principles matter.
Get it today.
And in the meantime, follow the dean of the business school at Liberty University at brateconomics.com.
I'm Sebastian Gawker.
