The last one from the 45th President of the United States, my former boss.
We will make America great again.
We have just witnessed something quite stunning, quite outrageous.
My former boss, the President, has been charged with 34 counts in the Manhattan District Court.
Counts of what?
Murder, theft, larceny, falsification of business records.
Falsification of business records.
Five years after the statute of limitations on a crime like that expired.
Show me the man and I will find you the crime.
These are the words historically attributed to Leventi Beria, the founder of the NKVD.
The secret police that would become the KGB.
The philosophy behind this statement was clear.
The socialist state had no need for principles such as innocent until proven guilty.
Common criminals were not the issue.
The priority is to protect the ruling elite from those citizens who wish to exercise their unalienable rights.
and be led by a political elite that actually represents their interests.
Those who believe in government of the people, by the people, for the people, must be neutralized.
Those citizens must be targeted by the law enforcement and intelligence organs of the state, each one investigated for who they are, until a transgression can be found or a crime simply manufactured.
As the son of those who first suffered under Nazi occupation and then communist persecution, my father, in fact, an anti-communist who was betrayed by one of the worst traitors of the 20th century, Kim Philby, receiving, at the age of 20, a life sentence in a communist prison, until he was liberated by the revolutionaries of 1956.
Never ever would I have believed That America, the nation I have chosen to become a citizen of, in whose highest institution, the White House, I have served, would become a nation of political prisoners and KGB tactics.
But it has.
From pro-life pastors having their home raided by armed agents of the FBI on a misdemeanor charge that was previously dropped by a local court, to January 6 protesters being kept in prison for years at a time even before they were arraigned, to a former president having his private residence ransacked by federal agents with his attorneys ordered to stand outside the building
Today is the final piece of empirical evidence that we have descended to the political gutter to becoming a police state.
The accusation that President Trump paid Stephanie Clifford, aka Stormy Daniels, to sign a non-disclosure agreement Trump is moot.
So what?
I signed an NDA with President Trump when I became his National Security Advisor during the campaign trail.
Thousands, if not tens of thousands of NDAs are being signed right now in business premises across the nation.
Even if the Trump Organization misstated the purpose of that payment, the statute of limitations on that misdemeanor has long expired.
It expired in 2018.
The idea that it can be connected to irregular election practices or some kind of tax evasion through some alchemically transmutated version of political legal theory is absurd!
And Democrat lawyers have said so.
Academicians like Jonathan Turley and Alan Dershowitz.
The truth is the Democrat Party no longer represents the little man or the working class.
Instead it has become a bi-coastal political class of elitists who see those who dare disagree with them.
Especially the 74 million who voted for a man who never was a member of the political class.
They have become the party, just like the party of the erstwhile Soviet Union.
And those who dare to challenge their writ...
must be neutralized.
Any dissent illuminates their inherent illegitimacy.
Be it a district attorney in Manhattan, funded to the tune of one million dollars by George Soros, a billionaire who despises the 45th President of the United States.
Or a former Speaker of the House who never recognized President Trump as President and deemed him the illegitimate, quote, resident of the White House.
And who detested the 64 million who voted for him.
There is no way back for the Democrat Party.
They have become a truly radical institution which, for example, favors open borders, negating the national sovereignty of our country.
They're on the side of those who mutilate children in the name of transgenderism.
They are full advocates of leniency for hardened criminals.
Alvin Bragg himself has lowered from felony to misdemeanor 50% of the charges in his district in Manhattan.
A party that, at the same time that they're on the side of the criminals, He wants to disarm law-abiding criminals, law-abiding citizens.
It was funny when Beto O'Rourke said it.
I'm coming after your AR-15s.
But now we have a chief executive.
We have Joe Biden saying exactly the same thing.
The task of restoring the fabric of the Republic, rent asunder by extremists who hate the principles upon which America was founded, will be the work of those who love the shining city on a hill.
Are you one of them?
Do you believe in those principles?
If so, What are you doing about it?
Are you just listening to this radio show and then switching on your favorite conservative TV show this evening to see the host talk to his guests about what's happening to America?
Because that's not enough.
You need to be part of the solution.
What are you doing about it?
Are you politically active?
Are you declaring your support for President Trump?
Do you fly, for example, a Trump flag outside your home?
We decided to actually design a new one.
It says, I stand with 45.
Do you stand with 45?
Because if you don't, maybe you don't really represent those principles.
I'm Sebastian Gorka.
Today will be quite a day.
You're listening to America First.

Welcome back, dear friends.
It's unbelievable to think we almost have two years left of this insanity.
If you look at the incompetence, the arrogance in the White House, you know it's going to get worse before it gets better.
If it does, will you always be able to provide for your family?
I will.
Why?
Because I've gone with the biggest and best in the business.

All right, I believe she has just landed.
In Florida, she's preparing to see the President this evening.
I will be hosting Newsmax's live coverage of the President's speech this evening, so please tune in to Newsmax this evening.
But we could think of no better guest to have with us than Carrie Lake.
Carrie, welcome to America First.
Hi Seb, good to be on with you.
And yes, I just arrived here in Palm Beach and I'll be seeing the President tonight.
Unfortunately, he's been through a lot today.
He's been through a lot the past, what, eight years?
And they just can't keep this man down.
There's no stopping President Trump.
He is a fighter.
Yeah.
They will try, I think, to gag him.
We are reading chyrons right now in the live coverage that Alvin Bragg, the man funded by George Soros, will be holding a press conference.
The idea that he, the hatchet man for Soros, will be allowed to speak and President won't be allowed to speak is, of course, utter police state tactics.
Let me ask you a very simple question, because Brit Hume just commented a few minutes ago on how the average American who isn't involved in politics must look at all of this circus.
I don't know, how many people do you think In your gubernatorial campaign, how many people do you think you met personally?
You must have shook hands with and been in rooms with tens of thousands of people, of voters.
How does the average Arizonan look at the events of the last 60 minutes in America?
I think they're just fed up.
They're looking at this judicial system, this corrupt political system that has been constantly dragging President Trump down, trying to drag him down, and they're dragging, they're hurting America.
There's so many major problems we have, and President Trump is the only guy out there with solutions to actually solve the problems, and he's being punished for it.
And the people are onto it.
I disagree with Brit Hume.
I don't think he actually talks to a lot of average Americans.
I do talk to a lot of everyday Americans.
They are fully behind President Trump.
And they're sick and tired of this constant, you know, he calls it a witch-hunt.
It's a persecution of one man, and it happens to be the one man, who's standing up and trying to protect America and Americans.
Yeah.
When you look at the future, you are now a political actor.
I want to just withdraw myself from this question for a moment, because of course, you know, I am biased.
I used to work for the man.
But many, even on the left, are saying, This travesty, the idea that he's being charged with fraudulent business statements, which is a misdemeanor the statute of limitations expired on in 2018.
Given the transparently political nature of this, a lot of people are saying this will make him stronger than ever.
Your analysis?
I agree.
I think what it's going to do, actually, I mean, he's as strong as he can get.
I've never seen anybody stronger, more able to handle a constant barrage of lies and attacks than President Trump.
What I think this is going to do, and the way it's going to strengthen him, is it's going to bring people in who maybe weren't, you know, diehard President Trump fans.
I think people are coming over to his side going, you know what?
Enough's enough.
This guy's done nothing wrong except try to stand up for America and make our country better.
Give us an update of your own personal story.
You've been fighting the permanent bureaucracy in your own state.
For those who haven't seen the recent developments, tell us about your fight, Carrie.
Well, we're still fighting our stolen election.
You know, they don't like populist candidates like President Trump and myself because they've been stealing elections for a long time.
And frankly, makes it harder to steal an election when you have a populist like President Trump or myself.
So we're fighting it right now.
We are in court.
We are waiting for the signature verification part of our claim to be taken back up by the lower judge.
And we will see what happens.
But we know that we have the evidence.
We know they stole our election.
Not crying here.
I think it's just the flight.
My eyes are watering.
We know they stole the election from us and we're going to prove it in court.
What is your message to those more than 3 million people listening right now at Cary Lake who say this is it.
Today it's gone.
The America of yore has disappeared and they want to just give up on the Republic.
I say this is when we jump in and really start fighting.
We can't let this country go.
Our founding fathers gave up too much to bring us this great country, to bring us this great constitution.
And there's too much left to fight for.
And I'm not willing to stop.
I've got children.
I'm not willing to stop fighting for them and their future.
And I think we need to double down and jump in with both feet, get behind President Trump and make sure he has a huge victory in 24.
And then we can begin to make our country great again.
The perfect message.
We double down.
We redouble our efforts because if America's worth it, it's always worth it.
As the great Rush Limbaugh told us, you never despair.
It is un-American.
We'll be joining Carrie from Mar-a-Lago later this evening on Newsmax.
I'll be co-hosting the show 9 p.m.
Eastern.
Follow her in the meantime at Carrie Lake.
That's Carrie with a K and at CarrieLake.com.

You're in New York City.
This is the year 2023.
People are, there is no one on this planet unfamiliar with Donald Trump.
It's going to be really challenging to find an impartial jury in this jurisdiction.
Yeah, that's the question.
How will a city, will a jurisdiction that is almost 95% Democrat, have a jury pool that is impartial?
Of course, the first thing President Trump's lawyers have to do is to demand that this case be moved out of Manhattan.
We're going to go to your calls momentarily.
A little update, a little correction.
President Trump is not going back The Trump Tower.
The convoy is actually on the way to La Guardia.
I just found out.
It's being tracked by a helicopter but it is on the way to La Guardia so President Trump can fly back to Mar-a-Lago and give his statement to the nation at 8pm.
You don't want to miss it.
We will be covering it live on Newsmax and I will be hosting the show afterwards, co-hosting the show, right after the President's statement.

Portions of America First are brought to you in part Aloha, Dr. Gorka.
I would just like to thank you for your continued coverage.
And this is very sad.
All right, let's go to your calls.
Wow, could we go much further away than this?
Let's go to Hawaii.
Line one, Romy.
Aloha, Dr. Gorka.
I would just like to thank you for your continued coverage.
And this is very sad.
It does hurt my heart to see where we're going.
And Trump is absolutely right.
They're going to go through him and then us next.
And I firmly believe this is just one of their many distractions so we don't see what's going on with the mandates they're trying to pass through.
Who all these little sneaky things they're doing because Trump is like crack to them.
And they will just watch him watch him and try to torture this guy.
Thank God he's so strong.
And I just continue to pray that he will remain strong and continue to expose this evil.
And our hearts are broken.
It's real sad.
Yeah, the fact that he is prepared for us, Romy, to do this again after everything he and his family, his loved ones, have been put through for nigh on six years is truly remarkable.
But yes, a little part of our hearts have been broken by the fact that Fellow Americans are doing this to somebody who just loves America.
Their hatred of somebody who isn't one of them, their bigotry knows no bounds.
Thank you, Romy, for the first call of the day.
Let's come a little bit closer to home, a little bit closer to the swamp, although it is a swamp of its own making, and that is New Jersey.
Jerry, welcome to America First.
What I want to say, this is what should be done.
There should be a trial, and we should start with the whole Democratic Party and anyone whose name is Biden.
That's point number one.
Point number two, anyone that's been held illegally in jail without getting proper education, they should have the right to sue Biden and everyone with a D in their name who's in the leadership position.
And point three, I know we're going to win, but we're in for 21 more rough months.
And basically, if they get him, we don't have a country anymore.
And I don't believe they're going to get him.
Thank God he was as tough as nails.
Why do you love the number three, Jerry?
Why do I love the number three?
Well, it's something like this.
I'm one of five kids.
Between me and my two, I'm the oldest.
I have four sisters.
The first two are only two and a half and three and a half years younger than me.
And the other two were 11 and 16 years younger than me.
But what's that got to do with the number three?
You always call into the show with three points.
I want to know the magical power of three.
Well, I don't know.
I seem to always have a lot of different things.
I could really go on for more, but I try to pick three key things.
And basically, the one that should be on trial is basically the one running the city here, the one running the governmentship.
Yes.
And the lawyer himself that brought this case.
Yeah.
It should be Alvin Bragg, it should be Letitia James, and it should be Michael Cohen on trial.
Thank you.
Thank you, Jerry.
We will continue.
Don't go anywhere, Joe and Wesley.
I'm Sebastian Walker.
This is America First coming to you from just outside the insolubrious, fetid, rank, malodorous, noisome swamp.

Donald, uh... Donald Trump, colon, what happened today in America?
Uh, give me, uh, line four quickly.
Mic's on.
Hi, who's this?
This is Wesley.
Hi, what's your question, what's your comment?
My comment is listening to you talk to Carrie Lake made me realize that the Democrats really don't like her.
They'll do whatever.
And she would be a perfect vice presidential candidate for Donald Trump because she's taken the tempering and the pounding.
She's also gone through this personal experience of election fraud.
She knows what she's talking about.
I think she'd be perfect for him.
Yeah, I know many people have raised that issue.
We've discussed it as well.
Thank you, buddy.
I appreciate it.
Okay.
Thanks.
Alright, he's connected.
You want the mics on or off?
Uh, mic's off.
Mike's off.
He could end up in prison.
Based on your long years of service with him, how will he process that?
Very poorly.
As I like to call him sometimes in my tweets, Diaper Donald will be filling up that diaper.
Because this is not something that Donald is capable of either understanding or contending with.
That is... I know I shouldn't laugh.
That is the Star Witness.
That's the star witness for Alvin Bragg, a man who is a convicted felon and a convicted perjurer, Michael Cohen.
Bragg is about to take the stand.
Hopefully President Trump hasn't been issued a gag order.
We will keep you updated on what the prosecutor in Manhattan says.
Let's broaden the aperture.
Let's talk about how this isn't just one man.
As President Trump says, he's just in the way, and if you're a conservative, they're after you.
If you're one of the 74 million who voted for him, they're after you.
One man who does sterling work at his organization is Darren Beatty, and he has to share a story with you that isn't getting the requisite attention.
Darren Beatty, founder of Revolver News, welcome back to America First.
Great to be back with you, Seb.
So a man, a young man, was recently convicted of a crime, which kind of is a thought crime, I think.
It is completely Soviet in its flavor.
The headline from your website is Gulag America.
Biden DOJ convicts Doug Mackey for anti-Hillary memes and faces up to 10 years in prison.
Who is Douglas Mackey?
What did he do?
And why is it such a significant case, Darren?
Great questions.
Critically important topic.
As I said, we've crossed the Rubicon and we've stepped into the Gulag.
What is the story with Doug Mack?
As you mentioned, he's a young guy who is very active on Twitter.
In the 2016 campaign, very enthusiastic and effective Trump supporter, the account that he ran...
called Ricky Vaughn was ranked by MIT as being one of the most influential media accounts in the 2016 election that surpassed even mainstream outlets like CBS.
And the number one rule that Trump is learning right now is you can't humiliate and defeat the regime.
Trump ran against the coordinated opposition of every single powerful institution in the country, and he won.
And figures like Doug Mackey, operating on the internet, were a critical part of that success, of that mobilization of the energies of everyday patriots who spoke up against the regime, and in this case, against Hillary Clinton.
So what was his crime?
What did he do with his meme, his social media post, Darren?
Great.
So the meme in question was a meme that followed a popular format that had been used by many people, including anti-Trump people, to mock Trump supporters.
And the format was simply saying, vote for Hillary, text this number, avoid the line.
It was meant basically as a satirical post to impugn the intelligence of Clinton voters to say they're so dumb that they would text a number and avoid the line.
Yeah, thinking that they could vote by texting.
Clearly a satirical post.
Exactly.
It follows a well-known format.
And so the government, ever interested in finding innovations in law to politically target their enemies, resurrected this statute called the Ku Klux Klan Act.
That was originally designed to prevent the Ku Klux Klan from physically intimidating African American voters from going to the polls.
They decided that this statute encompassed clearly satirical behavior online and basically made a decisive move to codify the disinformation scam into criminal law by saying Mackey was responsible for disinformation.
This dissuaded people from voting, and therefore he is guilty of some kind of conspiracy to deprive people of their right to vote.
Now, it's important to note they didn't produce a single aggrieved party, that is to say a single example of a person who said, I wanted to vote, I texted the number, and I didn't vote, so I was tricked out of my vote.
They didn't have a single aggrieved party in that case.
And even if they did, it's still overwhelmingly protected as satirical speech under the First Amendment.
And so this is why I say this is the most important First Amendment case in this country in a very long time.
The Doug Mackey case is to the First Amendment what the Kyle Rittenhouse case was the Second Amendment with the only difference that Doug Mackey was actually convicted of a felony charge.
Okay.
In prison.
And let's put it up.
We have another meme from a Democrat.
This is Christina Wong.
Ms.
Christina Wong on Twitter.
Hey Trump supporters!
Skip the poll lines election 2016 and text in your vote.
Text votes are legit.
Or vote tomorrow on Super Wednesday.
I presume this woman hasn't been found guilty of defrauding electors.
No, she wasn't charged, let alone convicted, as she shouldn't be, as nobody should be, because- So the po- oh, sorry, we got you back.
That woman wasn't even charged with defrauding citizens of their election rights.
No, and as I pointed out, she wasn't charged, she wasn't convicted, as she shouldn't have been, and just as Doug Mackey shouldn't have been, because that is satirical political speech protected under the First Amendment, and the selective Yeah.
prosecution in this regard, where they torture some old statute that emerged in an entirely different context in order to codify the disinformation scam into critical law.
This is a very dangerous precedent, just as the indictment of Trump is a dangerous precedent, and it signifies a new wave in the regime's oppression of American citizens for political The first wave was deplatforming on social media.
You don't like they don't like what you're saying.
They shut you up.
They take you off the social media.
The next stage of deplatforming is weaponization of criminal law to put their political enemies behind bars.
And that's the stage that we're in right now.
This man has been found guilty.
He hasn't been sentenced yet.
So as President Trump said, it's not about him.
It's about all of you.
He's just the man who got in the way.
Follow this man right now.

Line 5.
Hello, sir.
Hey, what's your comment?
What's your question?
Really quick, I like number three because of Dale Earnhardt.
But I was just confused why he's getting arrested if he's just being indicted.
Well, when you're charged with a crime, you are technically arrested.
You don't sit at home and get an email.
Okay, okay.
I appreciate it.
I'm glad you find it so funny.
Thank you.
Jacqueline, Brooklyn, line one.
Dr. Gorka, thank you.
You know, I just want to point out that they are making President Donald Trump a political martyr.
Yes!
I think this is all the doing of the enemy, as I like to refer to him.
This is the last week of Lent for Catholics, and that commemorates the time that Jesus spent 40 days in the desert.
He was tempted by the enemy while he was waiting for his trial and his crucifixion.
And something from the Book of Wisdom, you know, the wicked discussed among themselves how they found Jesus to be obnoxious.
Same is true with Donald Trump, because he reproached them for their transgressions of the law, just like Donald Trump has done with those in the swamp.
It was a hardship for them to see him, so they put him to the test.
They wanted to try his patience.
They were blinded by their own wickedness, and they sought the destruction of the just.
They felt judged and threatened, and the mere presence of Donald Trump stings their conscience.
And those of us who are Trump supporters and who have virtues, we're not a threat, but they consider us a threat.
They hated Jesus, they hate Donald Trump because they spoke the truth.
There were divided opinions about Jesus and Donald Trump, and some said that he was a good man, and others said that he was leading the people astray.
We need to inspire others to speak, do, and behave in a way that is right and best for all of mankind, not just for a few with their ideologies.
And we have to tolerate the enemies who come against us.
And finally, Dr. Gorka, President Trump, like Jesus, also said, know that if they hate you, they hated me first.
Yeah, there is something unusual, something special about the fact that we are witnessing this all in the Lenten season.
Thank you, Jacqueline.
We will be back with someone who knows the American system's power to persecute, Lord Conrad Black.
Thank you.
As expected, the mainstream media lied.
They said it's not just about business records.
There are lots of other things in the sealed indictment.
We now know that is not true.
They simply have 34 attempts to prove business fraudulent statements.
Nothing else.
Nothing serious.
Nothing to do with election fraud.
How does it all shake out?
Let's talk to a man who has weathered the legal system in America.
Our two of America First with none other than Lord Conrad Black.
The Doctor is in America First with Dr. Sebastian Gorka on Salem News Channel.
The antidote to the mainstream media.
The antidote to the mainstream media.
The antidote to the mainstream media.
The antidote to the mainstream media.
The antidote to the mainstream media.
The antidote to the mainstream media.
The antidote to the mainstream media.
Lord Black.
Yes, sir.
A sad day.
Yeah, except, you know something?
I think it's going to work out well.
The whole thing is such nonsense.
You know, as of now, it's not looking bad.
Okay, good.
I'm glad you can cheer me up.
Alright, 60 seconds.
Standby.
In addition to b-roll, you want me to just like kind of cycle through those three pictures of Trump?
Alright, I have literally just pressed send on my Twitter and my Facebook and I have posted the indictment to Alvin Bragg's office.
We're still waiting for him to come to the podium.
I guess he's too busy eating lunch or something.
President Trump's convoy is probably back at La Guardia already.
Yes, it is.
I can see The Trump plane looks like to be taxiing, so Trump Force One is getting ready for the flight back to Matalago for President Trump's statement to the nation at 8 p.m.
But the brag indictment that I've quickly flicked through is 34 counts, all of them to do with falsification of business records.
We were told, oh, it could be much more dire things.
Of course it wasn't.
Let's talk to no better guest than somebody who understands the capricious nature and the politically tainted nature of the judicial system in our fair land.
He is a regular here, one of your favorites, Lord Conrad Black.
Welcome back to America First.
Thanks very much, Sebastian.
I felt like I had a dark cloud above me as we connected to your offices moments ago, but you seem to be a little bit more chipper than I am.
Please share your thoughts on this sadly historic day.
I think it's a straight political move.
It has absolutely nothing to do with the law other than, incidentally, it's the powers that be in the Democratic Party moving as they think against their most redotable opponent.
And you've often asked me to speculate on what various people, what their motives are, and I'm generally reluctant to do it.
And I'm still hesitant to do it because you don't know what other people think.
Unless they tell you.
But my guess is the Democrats have proceeded on this basis because they think they've got it fixed in their minds that they can defeat Trump.
And so they must know that in attacking him in this way with everyone, even people who don't like Trump, but do know something about the law, like Andy McCarthy and Jonathan Turley, for example, on Fox.
I mean, they're not Trump supporters.
They don't like Trump politically, but they're good lawyers.
And they say this is a very flimsy case.
It's going nowhere.
And they don't even expect it to get to trial because there's so many exceptions that can be taken to it.
For the only explanation for the Democrats proceeding in this way is because they think that this will rally the Republicans behind Trump, make him the nominee, and they think they can win.
And I think the problem with that is they're forgetting that when they won in the last presidential election, they had the benefit of millions of harvested and unverified ballots that they're not going to have this time.
They were able to keep their candidate in the basement for the whole campaign, which they won't be able to do.
They outspent Trump 2-1, which I think they'll have trouble replicating.
And they had the support of 95% of the national political media and 100% of the social media.
They're not going to do that again.
And they have to justify the most incompetent administration since before the Civil War.
Which is underwater by more than 10 points on every significant policy issue.
So they are striving with their customary ingenuity and disrespect for the law and the decency of the political system and the better American political tradition to put into the nomination of the other party someone they think they can defeat who is in fact going to defeat them.
So I think it's actually working out not badly.
So you're not of the belief that this and the Georgia case and the January 6th case was an attempt to knock him out of the running, but they want to run against him because they think he's the weakest horse?
They have it in their minds that they can defeat him.
Because they did defeat him, even though they defeated him in ways that I think are vitiated in a legal sense, or technical sense.
But, you know, Joe Biden was inaugurated, he is the president.
But nevertheless, if we look at just the math of 2020, we have more votes for the incumbent than any other incumbent in American history.
So isn't this a very dangerous game they're playing?
I think it is, but I think that's the only kind of game they can play.
They are getting right into the end of the electoral season, seeking the re-election of an administration that clearly does not command and does not deserve the confidence of the country.
On all the major policy issues, immigration, crime, even Ukraine, the economy, inflation in particular, all of these, they're way underwater.
And so the only hope they can see, tactically, They think they can defeat Trump because they did do well, it must be said, in the midterms on the MAGA nonsense.
Never mind the complete shambles we've made of all of the major policy fields.
If you vote Republican, you're voting for this dangerous man.
So they think that's their ticket back into office.
And so they're pushing these prosecutions, but in the first place, the prosecutions are going to blow up.
I think this one today is going to be thrown out well before it gets anywhere near a trial.
Really?
Really?
You think?
Well, yeah, it's just too irregular.
Trying to torque a misdemeanor up into a crime, despite it being stale dated and, you know, it's just too tortuous and devious.
It won't fly legally.
And that's, I mean, I'm not an authority on New York law, but that's what people who are and don't particularly like Trump say, including the two I mentioned.
Now, as for the others, I have no standing to say whether they'll get to a prosecution there.
But if they do, I don't think they'll do any better.
And I think the public's reaction will be those who hate Trump will say, well done, let's throw this guy in prison.
But those who don't and those who are open-minded will say, this stinks, it doesn't smell right, and that's not how we do things.
And into that latter category, I presume you'd include those people who, unlike us and our three million listeners that tune into the show every day, eat, drink, and sleep politics.
If you're not a political animal, if you look at the last two years, the state of the economy, national security, open borders, you're going to, if you come across the coverage and delve a little bit at a superficial level, you're just going to scratch your head and say, This just doesn't add up, I presume.
Yeah, I think people who just look at it on its merits will say, look, Trump did better than these guys have done.
Those are the candidates.
Let's have Trump back.
But, you know, the Trump haters are there and there are millions of them.
I mean, to me, the most, I mean, you mentioned being a little discouraged, but the one thing that discouraged me a bit, although I can't say it surprised me, was 37, this is a CNN poll now, so the numbers are probably not as negative from our standpoint as the ones they published, but 37% of people, only 37% think that there may actually be an offense here that's where they've been prosecuted.
37.
But 60% were in favor of the indictment.
So you've got a, you know, a differential or 23%, almost a quarter of the people canvassed, basically said, this is bunk legally, but let's do it anyway, because I don't like Trump.
Yeah, I saw that poll and I thought, wow, you know, when you look up cognitive dissonance, then you might be, a picture of that poll might occur.
Let's just feed momentarily, if you'll indulge us, Lord Black, Alvin Brack has taken the podium.
Let's listen to a little bit of audio from Manhattan right now.
Go ahead, gentlemen.
Month after month in 2017, April, May, June, and so on through the rest of the year.
For nine straight months, the defendant held documents in his hand containing this key lie.
That he was paying Michael Cohen for legal services performed in 2017.
And he personally signed checks for payments to Michael Cohen for each of these nine months.
In total, the grand jury found there were 34 documents with this critical false statement.
Why did Donald Trump repeatedly make these false statements?
The evidence will show that he did so to cover up crimes relating to the 2016 election.
Donald Trump Executives at the publishing company American Media Incorporated, Mr. Cohen, and others agreed in 2015 to a catch-and-kill scheme.
That is, a scheme to buy and suppress negative information to help Mr. Trump's chance of winning the election.
As part of this scheme, Donald Trump and others made three payments to people who claimed to have negative information about Mr. Trump.
To make these payments, they set up shell companies, and they made yet more false statements, including, for example, in AMI, American Media Incorporated's All right, absolutely nothing new there.
It is as the leaks, which by the way are a felony to leak indictment information from a DA's office, had indicated this is about business statements and, as Lord Black said, an attempt to talk it into some kind of election fraud.
We will continue to examine.

Is it that if a prosecution finds one crime and there are multiple aspects of the one crime, using those multiple facets to turn it into multiple crimes is, in fact, prosecutorial using those multiple facets to turn it into multiple crimes is, Yes.
That appears to be what's happening.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
They've taken one instance and they've said, OK, you know, there's this form and that form.
Therefore, that's two counts.
And then there's this form and they repeated it.
There's another check.
That's five counts.
Incredible.
Well, it's all nonsense anyway.
I mean, you know, I mean, it's a construct, you know.
It's a fabrication.
I mean, it's not a criminal offense.
But I like the phrase you used, that they're talking it into a felony.
That's exactly right.
Is it 34 felonies?
Are they all felonies?
34 felonies, yeah.
34 felonies.
That's unbelievable.
Yep.
Incredible.
Good God.
Well, do you think I'm being a bit of a Pollyanna here?
I'm being too optimistic?
Look, I'm just saddened because of the history that's being made.
The wrong kind of history.
It's a shabby business, of course.
I think politically...
I think, I mean, look, the $7 million he's raised in the last, what was it, 72 hours, indicate that this was not a strategic move on behalf of the Democrats.
I think the other cases are just as spurious and weak as this one.
But it just saddens me that as the child of those who escaped a communist regime whose father Yeah, except the justice system in the US is so rotten, it's so awful, you know.
These prosecutors can convict anyone they want, and they always win.
I mean, as I say, it's a 98% conviction rate, 95% without a trial, because you've got no chance.
Now, this case is different.
I mean, here, they don't really have a case.
I mean, they aren't, on the facts, alleging a real offense.
They're doing this bootstrap that doesn't really work, and there is, in addition, the problem that the Limitations Act is statute-barred at any rate.
So, you know, it has all the appearances of a desperation shot to You know, I think most people would think destroy the candidate rather than make sure he's the nominee.
But in any case, that's how it's going to look when it is thrown out, assuming it is, without a trial.
I don't think they can try this case.
Eric, will you, when you have a moment?
Yeah.
Will you post the full indictment document at my website?
Yes.
Thank you.
You just tweeted it all?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's in there.
It's a PDF link.
Oh, good.
Good, good, good.
Um, actually... Wanna come in with something?
I'm gonna move PHD, just come in with the Alvin Bragg audio again.
Oh, still live, yep.
Okay, we'll just do some tracking shots then.
25 seconds.
He's, uh... I don't want to be gratuitous here, but he's not a reassuring-looking figure.
Yeah, to say the least.
Stand by.
I will highlight again now the,
The first is New York State election law, which makes it a crime to conspire to promote a candidacy by unlawful means.
I further indicated a number of unlawful means, including more additional false statements, including statements that were planned to be made to tax authorities.
I also noted the federal election law cap on contributions.
As we expected, nothing, nothing, nothing new as per the felonious leaks from Bragg's own office.
They are trying to take a misdemeanor concerning misstatements on business papers, the statute of limitations which expired six years ago, and connect them with an abstruse, arcane, alchemical
Theory of law to election fraud and tax evasion utterly utterly stunning We are back with presidential historian former media mogul judicial reform advocate Lord Conrad black Conrad President Trump is on his way to Florida.
I will be hosting the coverage on Newsmax of his speech to the nation, so please tune in, everybody, 9pm to Newsmax.
What would be the right thing today to say?
You've written seminal works on FDR, on Nixon, on President Trump himself.
What note should the President hit this evening in his speech?
Look, I think that in the abstract, anyone Would excuse him for being pretty hot-headed in his comments, but given the objective facts that we're already into a presidential campaign where he's a leading candidate, I think all his moves now should be addressed at those people who are accessible to him Who are borderline voters.
I mean, his supporters are with him, come thick or thin.
His enemies, many of them, are simply, you know, unconditional enemies.
There's no point trying to bring them in.
But there is a group in the middle.
It's a smaller group than there usually is, but it's there, and they have the balance of power, and so the answer is to be reasonable, I think, and just say, in a very reasonable tone of voice, This is a political case because it is so weak legally by general agreement, and you could summarize very briefly why it's legal if you want to, but this is what we're facing.
We are facing now the wholesale recourse of our opponents to an abuse of the legal positions they hold, the prosecutorial offices they hold, and in some cases the legislative positions that they occupy, to intrude into partisan affairs.
and a sandbag, a candidate of the other party who happens to be a former president.
And this is not only a political matter.
This is a fight for the Constitution and for the integrity of our democracy.
And if he keeps it on that high level and puts it plausibly, no hyperbole, no self-pity, and not raging and shouting, which he's perfectly entitled to do, and behind closed doors, I'd say, I would encourage it.
It's probably good for all the organs in his body.
Get it up his chest.
But do it like that, he'll bring that middle group.
There are still a majority of Americans who really seriously do not like the abuse of officers such as prosecutor, attorney general, for straight political needs.
It's a corruption of the system, and if we Keep it up.
In the end, the country's going to be run from the Pentagon.
All the rest of it will go out the window.
Yeah, yeah.
In the break and before we started talking, you were more chipper than I was.
I'm saddened, not because I think this hurts the President, I think it actually strengthens him in the eyes of millions.
But I'm saddened for what America has become and what has happened to the fabric of the nation and the Constitution.
Would you for a moment, as a historian as well, put into context, as much as we can, because history is being written, today's events?
This is not going to be a positive day for American history.
This is right, and I think the best I can do in fulfilling the mandate you just gave me is just to make the point, and I did make it in a piece that was published of mine in the New York Sun yesterday, that this is the end of the road that began with Watergate.
There was no ground whatsoever to impeach Nixon.
The grounds of impeachment looked at now.
Now, they weren't voted on by the House because he resigned, but they were nonsense.
They were just absolute nonsense.
But they were built up into something dangerous and capable of killing him politically because of the atmosphere.
And it must be said, because he mishandled, as he admitted, the subject.
He should have been much more candid, as he had said, or left it alone completely.
But he didn't, and he being the patriotic man that he was, Mr. Nixon, he retired rather than put the country to the embarrassment of an impeachment trial, which they hadn't had for over a century.
But then no one could resist it.
There was no excuse.
Uh, for trying to turn Iran Contra into a potentially impeachable offense.
There was frankly no excuse for impeaching President Clinton.
What he did was tawdry and embarrassing, but it's not the sort of thing you remove a president from office for.
And the treatment of Trump has been an absolute scandal from the beginning.
I mean, the Trump-Russia collusion thing, the subordination or otherwise corruption of the national and central intelligence agencies, the conduct of the directors of those two agencies and of the FBI, it was all illegal and it was all grossly partisan.
And there hasn't been any real sanction for it.
And then we got into the phony impeachment issue on the Zelensky matter.
We now know that the The Biden family's financial relations to Ukraine and other countries amply justified the President expressing curiosity about it.
He didn't say to Zelensky, give me Joe Biden's head on a plate.
He said, what happened?
He didn't try and direct the result that he would get back from him.
And here we are.
We have a ridiculous bit of nonsense.
presented as the grounds for dragging a leading candidate for president and former holder of that office into a criminal court.
It shows the danger of that whole course of action, but there is a potential silver lining.
I think it's going to fail.
And when it fails, I think there will be a consensus that the country needs better safeguards against any repetition of this.
I think everybody agrees in the abstract.
If you can just prosecute any candidate anywhere, anytime you want, because he's an opponent, we're going to have chaos.
We have just literally a couple of seconds left.
However, whatever happens, Lord Black, people will look at America differently from outside, will they not, after today?
Yes, but I think Americans would be surprised how serious are the reservations informed foreigners already have about your legal system.
I mean, the world knows that it's really a legal system completely unworthy of such a great country.
Good.
I'm glad that is the case.

Yeah, well, look, maybe I'm, you look, maybe I'm, you know, maybe I'm whistling past the graveyard here.
I don't know.
Look, I just ultimately have a feeling the American public are not going to buy it.
It is so outrageous.
It is so utterly outrageous.
I think there are just a great many people out there who will say, Look, I don't especially like Trump, but, you know, we can't do this.
We can't govern our country this way.
Right, right.
No, I think even the most apolitical individual will wake up and realize.
They are our greatest allies, in my opinion.
That's why Trump has to pitch it moderately.
The most apolitical people are the ones who are going to decide.
You know, I'm not making a partisan choice here.
I just don't approve of dragging a candidate into court at the beginning of an election campaign on a Mickey Mouse bit of nonsense like this.
Yeah, yeah.
No, I think that's the best way to put it.
They are the biggest allies the President has tonight and he has to speak directly to them.
Well, like you, I was invited.
I didn't make it, but I'll watch it, and let's hope that's what he does.
Yeah, indeed.
God bless.
Thank you.
And if he does do it, you know, he could take a terrific jump in the polls.
Oh, my gosh.
He could frighten the living Jehovah out of the Democrats.
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
Thank you, Conrad.
Talk soon.
Keep our fingers crossed.
All right.
Bye-bye.
Bye-bye.
Okay.
Title for that one. - Thank you.
I wrote it down... What President Trump has to say tonight.
I love how the press covered his arrival like it was O.J.
in the white Bronco.
All of those people want him back in because he pays their mortgage.
He's what gets everybody to watch the news.
They're going to cover him like a burka.
They pretend that he's awful.
All of those clowns need him to survive.
That is the sad, sad truth.
If it weren't for President Trump, most of those rabid left-wing news outlets would have collapsed long, long ago.
That was, of course, Greg Gutfeld on Fox News.
The left has taken control of the mainstream media, of the schools, of the colleges, and now they are inveigling themselves into The private sector and they're endangering your future through amazingly huge organizations like BlackRock, like Vanguard that handle trillions of dollars worth of pension funds, state pension funds, private IRAs, you name it.
They are Endangering the future of millions.
Why?
Because they've injected left-wing ESG politics into their investments.
We've got to stop them.
There's one organization that's been protecting consumers from fraud and abuse for decades and they're stepping up to the plate once more.
They don't want a penny from you.
They want to educate you.
to the threat to your retirement funds.
Yes, sir.
Find out today.
The organization is consumersresearch.org.
Consumers Research is on your side, and they want to save your retirement.
That's consumersresearch.org.
Portions of America First are brought to you in part by consumersresearch.org.
All right, let's go to your course.
You are the most important voice here.
Ted, Arkansas, line one.
Yes, sir.
I was just wondering what you thought about if the Supreme Court should have already or should step in and put an end to this nonsense.
Well, it's impossible.
You do know how the Supreme Court works, correct?
No, sir, I'm not a...
You can't go to the Supreme Court whenever you want to.
So if you have a case, it has to be adjudicated in the first instance, wherever the locality is, then you appeal it.
If you have failed your appeal, only then can you go to the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court can't get engaged whenever they want to, Ted.
I see.
Well, I thought maybe there was a judicial body out there that could say, look, this is wrong.
No, there isn't.
Alan Drag, you're wrong.
No, that's not how the law works.
You have a court of the first instance.
Then if you are convicted and you disagree with it, you can appeal it.
If you fail the appeal, then you can petition the Supreme Court to take your case up.
But even then, Only a fraction of a fraction of the cases that go to the Supreme Court are taken up by the justices.
So, no, Ted, we can't upturn the legal system just because of one man.
That is what the left is doing.
But we conservatives believe in rule of law.
But thank you.
Don, New Jersey, line two.
A pleasure to speak with you at any time.
An honor to speak with you at this time.
Two thousand years ago, the developed world was corrupt.
A man entered the scene.
He was recognized as a prophet and seen as a threat to the existing world order.
Accordingly, Jesus of Nazareth was martyred.
Jesus Christ became what Jesus of Nazareth left behind.
The greatest force of change on earth, Trump Is being politically martyred.
He will become the greatest force of political change in the United States of America.
That may be the case, Don.
That may be the case.
Only God knows.
Only He is above everything and out of time.
You're the second person to make this comment.
I think we should get Father Pavone back to discuss and just remind us of the fact that we aren't just beings living at a political time.
We are living in the midst of the Easter season.
We are seeing a man politically persecuted.
God bless you, Don.
Let's go to Los Angeles.
Joe, line 4.
Yes, sir.
Go ahead.
Now is when you talk.
Go ahead.
We have things called laws, correct?
There's something wrong with your phone.
Are you speaking clearly into the phone?
I'm sorry, sir.
I want to ask you a question.
We have the Constitution.
We have laws that are passed.
These are laws that are being broken, but to break a law you have to have more than one person agree to it.
Who's agreeing to this?
The man is... The woman said she's not interested in him.
There was never any affair.
What is this all about?
There are laws and now the laws are being broken?
Who is exactly going through with this?
What do you mean?
The aggrieved party doesn't exist.
It's being manufactured.
No crime was committed.
It's like that case we discussed 40 minutes ago.
Not one person failed to vote for Hillary Trump because a young man posted a comical social media post about voting by text.
They just prosecuted him anyway!
It's the left!
Joe!
Stop being logical!
It's not about logic.
It's about hatred!
Hatred of those who love this country.
I'm Sebastian Gorka.

Chris Hopkins.
He's...
This Prime Minister's brand new, right?
Yes.
It's like the last one resigned or something, I think.
Yeah, right.
You wanna tee that up, or?
No.
Oh, okay.
All right,
30 seconds. 30 seconds. 30 seconds. 30 seconds.
30 seconds.
Making sense out of today's nonsense, here's Dr. Sebastian Gorka.
Alright, do we need a bit of a break for two minutes?
Do we need to have a funny cut, Eric?
That would certainly help us out.
Maybe it'll help my blood pressure, but first things first, something that's helped my blood pressure more than anything else I've done in the last 20 years is losing 42 pounds.
Can you imagine what your life would be like if you lost that kind of weight?
How did I do it?
I did it with this amazing program, Dr. Ashley Lucas's MyPhD program.
Five meals a day, no calorie counting, no stupid pill popping, no starvation diets, just meals that help you burn the fat.
It was so easy and I feel amazing.

All right, Jacinda the witch in New Zealand, the lockdown madwoman resigned.
And it looks like her replacement from the Labour Party isn't much of an improvement.
This was one of his first press conferences, if not his first.
And he was asked a very simple question that I think all three million of you could answer.
This is Chris Hopkins, the new Prime Minister of New Zealand.
I just wanted to ask you, given comments by Keir Starmer of Britain, how do you and how does this government define a woman?
To be honest, Sean, that question's come slightly out of left field for me.
The, well, biology, sex, gender, people define themselves, people define their own genders.
Biology, sex, gender, anchovies, dolphins, Came out of left field.
I don't care if he came out of the sky or under the ground, you CRETIN!
A woman is an adult.
Female.
Human.
They're all just cuckolded morons.
Really.
That's who you picked, New Zealand?
What a joke.
What a travesty.
Eric!
They were supposed to get me in a better mood!
I think it's funny.
For me, the funniest part isn't even that you can't answer the question.
It's those long pauses.
Yes, yes.
Of what we in the radio industry call Dead air.
Yes, he just he just can't because he's going oh my gosh.
Oh my gosh.
What do I say?
How do I not get into trouble now?
What would Disney say?
What would Hollywood say?
What do I say now?
And he's wetting himself while he's saying it.
All right, let's go back to your course.
Oh, by the way Please please don't forget to support President Trump.

Second errand of the day!
Line one, California!
Hey, Dr. Gorka, I really appreciate the opportunity to speak to you.
I'm a pastor here in Southern California, and there seems to be a lot of debate among Christians about how involved clergy should be in the political realm.
Some believe that pastors should focus solely on spiritual matters and avoid political things altogether, while others believe that it's important for pastors to speak out on political issues.
I want to know, instead of calling in and telling you what I think about things, I want to glean from you.
What are your thoughts on this issue, and what do you think are some of the common misconceptions that Christians have about this intersection of faith and politics?
And I'm really, really curious to hear your take on that.
Well, great question.
I mean, a superb question.
Let me answer it thusly, Aaron, whether pastors or Christians should get political.
When you can't go to church on Sunday to practice your faith,
When you're told your children can't go to school or must wear masks for eight hours a day, when you are told you will lose your job if you don't get an injection of an experimental vaccine, when you are told by the president that you, a lawful citizen, must be disarmed and have your AR-15 taken away from you, then everything has become political, has it not?
Yes.
Yes, thank you.
When our Lord and Savior was tried by the local procurator, by Pontius Pilate, and the people of Judea, said, we want Barabbas, the murderer, and you can kill the innocent teacher who is Jesus, then isn't even the story of Jesus Christ political, Aaron?
Extremely so.
Bingo.
I couldn't have asked for a better question, but God bless you and thank you for asking it.
Stay on the line.
Let's get Aaron a signed copy of The War for America's Soul.
Let's go to Beverly Hills Palabo.
Welcome to America First.
Hey, listen, just a couple of quick points here.
They better be very careful about what they're doing today because Mohandas Gandhi and Nelson Mandela, they were both indicted and went on to become living martyrs and went on to become elected to head their countries as prime minister.
So that could be in store for them if they don't.
Be careful with that one.
And the other thing is that I just want to remind people that the Wisconsin Supreme Court vote is today.
And that is a vote between the teachers union and the MAGA people to see how the election laws will turn in Wisconsin.
So everybody needs to make sure they get out and voice their point of view and Absolutely, absolutely, absolutely.
God bless you for reminding us.
And it's also very strange that he was arrested.
He was charged the day of Martin Luther King Jr.' 's assassination.
Please, if you're in Wisconsin, get out and vote today!
Please follow Scott Pressler's guidance, the persistence on Twitter, because your Supreme Court election today will have ramifications across the nation.
Please get out and vote today for the sake of the nation, not just Wisconsin.
Thank you guys.
Great, great cause.

How do you say that?
Magnificent.
He is the top cat and he's going to be even more of a top cat as the months progress.
Latest news is Alvin Bragg wants to postpone the hearing till January.
January?
So it's in the midst of the primaries.
Oh, nothing political there.
Let's go to Mike in Detroit, line four.
Oh yeah, Dr. Corker.
I know that from your history and from being from Eastern Europe, I mean, this is just classic history repeating itself.
You know, they demonize, dehumanize, denigrate their enemies.
Well, of course.
They get to the point where the end justifies the means, and you have the Stalinist show trial.
And amazingly, in this country, FBI Gestapo tactics, I mean, this is unheard of, you know, but this is classic, you know, and I'm sure you're aware of that.
You're a student of history.
Well, of course.
I mean, if you listen to the show regularly, I've been saying it every day for weeks on end.
Yeah, this is just unprecedented in this country.
And I hope people, I don't know what history, if they've just been, you know, immersed in politically correct history where the Republicans were the slave owners and the Democrats freed the slaves or whatever history they're taught.
You know, I was raised by the World War II generation and You know, you learn a lesson there from following history.
This is just history repeating itself.
This is socialism imposed on us by the Democratic Party.
But it's worse than that.
It's not history repeating itself because we aren't a dictatorial regime.
We see Gestapo tactics.
We see the tactics of the KGB in nations where there is one political party where a dictator took over After a revolution or some other violent form of change of regime.
Here, this is the most insidious.
This is a takeover by stealth.
This is one party's actors, along with those who sponsor them, like the billionaire George Soros, who has said he wishes to destroy President Trump, undermining the system without a revolution.
This is what Rudi Deutschke called the long march through the institutions.
Based upon Antonio Gramsci's recognition that in a stable nation with a strong, robust middle class that follow Judeo-Christian values, you can't trigger a revolution.
So this is far more insidious.
And you're asking whether or not they're being taught history.
Of course they're not being taught history.
They're not being told that it was the Democrats that created the KKK, that the first Republican president was the great emancipator, that it was Abraham Lincoln, If you can falsify history, you can own the future.
I think you have to be a little bit more robust in your analysis, Mike.
Yeah, of course they've done that.
As Lenin, as Stalin, as Hitler said, give me their youth and I will own the future.
Thank you.
I'm Sebastian Gawker.

There's Boris!
Boris!
Boris!
Boris, he's so famous.
do do baris the deep state
It's not a theory, it's fact, and you know it as of this morning.
Why?
President Trump has been talking about it for nigh on six years, and now they're trying to take him down yet again.
Who better to discuss it than the man who literally wrote the book, The Plot Against the President, turned into an amazing documentary, and The Permanent Coup.
My friend and investigative reporter and author par excellence, Lee Smith, welcome back to America First!
Sam, great to be with you as always.
Lee, we usually jump straight into the meat of the matter.
We have the luxury of a little bit of extra time today because this is one of our Deep Dives one-on-one.
I got to know you, I don't know, centuries ago when I was doing national security, you were doing national security.
Your original book that I knew you from was The Strong Horse, Power Politics and The Clash of Cultures or, you know, Arab power dynamics in the Middle East.
For those who aren't familiar with your prior work, before you got into this analysis of domestic politics in the deep state, tell us a little bit about Lee Smith and your trajectory, how you moved from international affairs to what you're covering today.
Well, this is, I mean, actually, it was covering the Middle East, covering Iran and Syria, and particularly, in particular, that showed me what was going on in 2016.
First of all, I was covering the Syrian conflict very, very closely, and the reality was is that Barack Obama officials were coordinating with Russia, with Vladimir Putin in Syria.
I mean, Russia came in there in partnership with the Islamic Republic of Iran and Hezbollah, and the Obama administration was supportive of this.
So when, starting in the summer of 2016, We started to see stories about how Trump was close to Russia, and many of these leaks, many of these statements were sourced to unnamed officials, who, as it turned out, were precisely the same officials who were boasting about the Obama administration's coordination with Russia and Syria.
It seemed absolutely ridiculous to me, and I knew there was something going on at that point.
What David Samuels described in a famous New York Times magazine article as Ben Rhodes and Barack Obama's echo chamber.
So I saw there was something going on with that.
But there's something else, too, that's that's even more significant.
And that is I started to see around that time how the our press.
Our free, our ostensibly free and independent press had started to take on the characteristics of the Arab, the Arab media.
In particular, that none of this was independent reporting.
It was all done in coordination with, with intelligence services.
And that's precisely what we saw in particular with the Washington Post and the New York Times starting in 2016, its coverage of Donald Trump.
The press became the outward face of the intelligence services.
And to see that happen in our country, Seb, in the United States, the beacon of freedom, the world's greatest country and oldest democracy, to see this happen here, it should get everyone, not just alarm and alert people, but to get everyone out of their doldrums and get everyone to defend our country, to see what I don't know.
To see what's happening and to see what people have in store for us unless we protect our country, unless we defend our liberties.
So just to remind those who may have forgotten those years not too long ago under Obama, this is the same president who on that Notorious, that infamous hot mic moment with Putin's puppet Medvedev.
Lent over, didn't know the mics were hot and said to Medvedev, this is incredible, tell Vladimir I will have much more flexibility after the election.
And Medvedev in his central casting, thick Russian accent says, yes, yes, I will tell Vladimir.
Likewise, it's the same Ben Rhodes in the White House, the only official ever at that level in an administration to be refused even an interim security clearance by the FBI.
Because of his shady background.
This is the same Ben Rhodes who, in an article, actually said it's so easy to quote-unquote exploit the idiots in the press corps in Washington DC.
These are the same people, Lee.
Yep, absolutely.
And this is something, of course, that as you and I say this, Seb, and of course we have Our friends and allies who understand this, who've heard us say it, and who've heard others say it, but look, it's telling that there's no way that this will ever penetrate the media, right?
And this is the issue, that the media is the sword and shield, not just of the Democratic Party, but most crucially, Barack Obama, and not just Barack Obama's legacy, but Barack Obama's initiative, which is to utterly transform
The United States of America and to come to the present what we've seen the last six plus years is it's culminating to date in the indictment of Donald Trump.
And I think it's really important for us to look.
At the role that Barack Obama has played in this over the last six and a half years, it seems to me this is a crucial piece that's been missing.
And we talked about at the beginning, the way that I see the prosecution of Trump beginning, it starts July 5th, 2016, when Christopher Steele first turns over some You know, some of his phony Trump Russia reports to the FBI.
And we know that this was funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign for president.
So Hillary's taken, rightly, she's rightly held accountable for how this country has been poisoned the last six plus years.
But that, unfortunately, by focusing too much on Clinton, we forget that all of the spy chiefs, right, who were coordinating with the Clinton campaign, who were leaking to the press, these people all worked for Barack Obama.
It's inconceivable.
As a matter of fact, we know that Obama knew what was going on.
We know from handwritten notes from John Brennan in the summer of 2016, And we know in these White House meetings in early January 2017, Barack Obama knew what was going on.
And we also know from the text messages between the FBI lovebirds, that they said at one point, the President wants to be briefed about everything with regards to Operation Crossfire Hurricane and the targeting of Mike Flynn, correctly?
You're absolutely right.
And I'm glad you reminded me of that.
I was moving so quickly through all of it.
But you're absolutely right.
And so I think that this is how we need to understand the indictment and the strain.
You know, everyone talks all the time about, you know, especially Donald Trump's foes talk about, oh, he's an exceptionally bad president.
He's an exceptionally evil man.
And this is why he deserves everything that's happening to him.
This is nonsense.
Donald Trump is very firmly within the tradition of mainstream American politics, going back to the beginning.
Whether we're talking about economic nationalism, whether we're talking about a strain of rough-and-ready populism, this is part of the American mainstream.
What is not a part of the American mainstream?
And that's arresting other presidents, indicting, prosecuting other presidents of the United States.
That's what's extraordinary here.
Donald Trump is a great president.
You and I and your great audience agrees on that.
But what's extraordinary is not Donald Trump.
What's extraordinary is prosecuting A president, a former president, and the frontrunner for the 2024 nomination.
That's what's different to you.
Yeah, that's the key element.
To use the British term, he's the current leader of the opposition.
Not just a former president, but the individual who is right now 20 to 30 points in front of the next possible candidate to be the Republican nominee.
We're talking to Lee Smith, Author extraordinaire.
Follow him on Twitter at LeeSmithDC.
He's the author of the fabulous works The Plot Against the President, which became a movie made by our friend Amanda Milius, and The Permanent Coup, How Enemies, Foreign and Domestic, Targeted the American President.

What was for you, I wanted to ask you, was there, to use the left-wing terminology, was there something that triggered you?
Or was there some Damascene moment where you said, oh, what I've seen with these clash of Arab civilizations, as you put it in your book in the Middle East, I'm seeing it here in America.
What made you shift your azimuth?
Was there some specific event or person or actor?
Yeah, I think it was the fact that we saw the FBI open up an investigation of a presidential candidate.
And then as we later discovered, the FBI had also been investigating the Trump transition team and then the Trump White House, which you were a part of.
I mean, this is shocking.
This is third world stuff.
So that's the transition that we've seen.
But again, we've seen several years of this now.
And you know, you, I believe you mentioned one of them before when we're talking about, you know, Barack Obama was, they leaked some phone call that Barack Obama was on with a whole bunch of Democratic Party officials when he was telling them to continue to go after Mike Flynn.
I mean, this is shocking stuff.
So this has happened very quickly, and again, I think that this is what's extraordinary, what we need to be paying attention to, right?
Because the press is trying to paint it, no, no, no, you don't understand it.
No one is above the law.
Donald Trump, this is all normal stuff.
This is not normal stuff.
This is 100% abnormal.
It's third world stuff.
So, who are the people who are driving this?
I think we need to put names to this and we need to hold people, we need to start holding people accountable by pointing out who's doing it.
Now, you connect all the dots in, excuse me, you connect all the dots in your books.
Is there, what is the mechanism?
Because for me, when I was The target of the amoeba, the swamp, when I was explaining the president's... You can get off the books, guys.
You can get off the books, okay?
When I was explaining the travel moratorium in the first two weeks of the administration, and then suddenly, you know, the mainstream media decided, okay, Gawker's fair game.
I was curious about the mechanism, because I don't believe that, you know, there's some central figure, whether it's George Soros or Obama, you know, sitting in his hollowed out volcano like Blofeld.
There's no, you know, one machine.
It is a collectivist enterprise.
They think like the Borg.
They are a hive mind.
And also there's so much Interchange between these personalities people who've been at the CIA go to the think tanks go to the lobbying entities back and forth.
It's it's more like a culture of subversion where everybody understands who the enemy is to their vested interest and who has to be destroyed or have you seen A far more centralized command and control structure.
What have you defined over the years as you've been dissecting all of this?
Well, I think you're right, Seb, that this is, I mean, you put all of these people together in the same room, they've all been educated in the same places, they all share the same, you know, the same dark and foolish ideas.
Right.
And that's, I mean, that's what our deep state is like, right?
When we talk about the Turkish deep state, these are boys with daggers between our teeth.
Here we're talking about guys who share, you know, tips on grilling and talk about their favorite craft beers.
But the intent is the same.
It's still to destroy their enemies.
And so I agree with you.
There is an agreement.
They know their own tastes.
They know their own affections.
They know what they hate and they know what they're supposed to be targeting.
Except I think that we can get a sense of how things have changed somewhat just by looking at different events.
For instance, most people forget, and George W. Bush certainly helps them forget now that he's palling around, he's keen to be pictured with Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, and he has never come to the defense of any member of the Trump administration, never mind Donald J. and he has never come to the defense of any member member of the Trump administration, never mind Donald J. Trump, right?
But I mean, let's remember what happened during the Bush years.
George W. Bush was also the subject of all these gruesome assassination fantasies, whether it was Nicholson Baker, and this was in a novel, whether it was a movie, Death of a President, I think it was called.
A British film.
So the darkness coming from the Democratic Party, these fantasies about destroying and killing their adversaries, that hasn't changed.
That's not different.
I think that what we've seen that is a little different is, again, this is a six and a half year long campaign.
And this has, you know, Again, and right now, the high point, it's culminating with the indictment of Donald Trump.
So why is this so supercharged?
And for that, I think we can point to a couple of different figures.
Barack Obama is certainly one of them.
Who is the leadership, right?
Barack Obama is the first president since Woodrow Wilson, who stayed in Washington, D.C.
And Woodrow Wilson had a stroke.
He could barely leave Washington, D.C.
So why did Barack Obama stay around?
I think these are key issues that we need to keep in the front of our mind as we see this, the anti-Trump operation continue to unfold.
And now it's taken us to this extraordinarily bad place in our country's history.
Let me suggest something to you, and we can have this discussion as we proceed, but I don't imagine, because I look at Obama, and he actually admits it in his memoir, that he's a fundamentally lazy person, so I don't imagine, you know, Barack Obama is sitting on Martha's vineyard, or hearing Kala Rama in D.C.
20 hours a day, Engineering the deep state.
I'm sure he can pick up a phone and talk to people, but it's his individuals, his legacy people who are still in these positions.
So we know Merrick Garland doesn't run the DOJ.
It's Obama's former disastrous counterterrorism advisor, Lisa Monaco.
We know Ambassador Rice is running the Domestic Policy Council, the most powerful position Outside of the national security arena in the White House, and these are all old Obama flunkies, so I would say it's less a function of Obama actively doing things, but, you know, to use the Jewish Yiddish phrase, you know, his schlep, his team that he has borrowed into the system, and they're the people who are the critical mass.
Is that fair?
I, look, I think you're right.
I think the idea that, look, Barack Obama is trying to spend his time talking to Jay-Z and Beyonce, right?
He doesn't want to bother with details like this, like how are people going to get, who do we put in, who do we get in place to go after Donald Trump here in the New York DA's office?
No, I don't think that's what Barack Obama is doing.
What I'm talking about is that leadership, you know better than I, I mean, you worked in the Trump White House.
establishes a temperament, not just goals and what it wants to get done, how it wants to accomplish, not just what it wants to accomplish, but how it wants to accomplish different things.
And I think that's what's happening.
Yeah, a style of execution.
Yeah, you're absolutely right.
Does that make sense?
No, that does.
The culture of the leader establishes a style of execution of the vision.
Absolutely.

Right, we've mentioned Alvin Bragg more than once.
Of course, this is the ultimate explication or indication of the existence of the deep state, the permanent elite or the permanent bureaucracy or the unaccountable elite, whatever you wish to call it.
Let's talk about the significance of the man who has funded more than 40 Alvin Braggs across the country.
Talk to us about George Soros, Lee Smith, and his importance in so, without most people taking notice, changing the political culture of our nation.
Absolutely.
Look, I saw something interesting on Twitter about a week ago, maybe before that, but it was about Bragg.
And it was Elon Musk himself who was saying, look, Soros found an interesting piece of arbitrage here.
He could spend a fraction of the money on DA's races and change the political culture of different cities at much less cost.
And that's only partly true.
He's right.
Elon Musk is right that he spent all of this money on DA's races, but let's remember George Soros was the number one contributor to the Democratic Party, right?
Number two was Sam Bankman Freed.
But Soros is spreading money around everywhere and virtually every possible initiative he can get his hands on.
And so I think we kind of have it backwards when we talk about such and such being Soros funded.
I think we need to understand these things as different instruments of George Soros, right?
The guy spends a lot of money on all sorts of different things, whether it's media, whether it's the trans agenda, whether it's the open borders agenda, whether it's destroying American cities by backing DAs who not only want to defund the police, whether it's destroying American cities by backing DAs who not only want to defund the police, but who want So So this guy is doing an awful lot.
So again, I think we need to turn it around instead of Soros funded.
Hey, here's Alvin Bragg.
He's the man.
He's getting money from George Soros.
I think it's more helpful.
If we see it as Alvin Bragg is an instrument of a larger project that George Soros is funding across the board, not just DA's races, but the president of the United States, senatorial races, congressional races.
He's putting money on every possible space he can.
Yeah, these are all instruments of his vision, and there's something so incredibly perverse, because if you read his biography, this is a man who allegedly, putatively, had his political philosophy shaped by Karl Popper, At the London School of Economics in the 1960s and 70s, who came up with this concept of open society, transparent society.
And what George Soros is doing in the name of open society is exactly the opposite.
He's undermining the principles of a transparent society by using tools behind the scenes to affect an ideological change of the system that doesn't represent the people in the system.
It's one of the most perverse things I've seen in modern history.
I mean, we'd like to think, I believe, that this is not inevitably where liberalism leads.
And I'm not just talking about the left, the Democratic Party, but actual liberalism.
as handed down to us by the Enlightenment.
We'd like to believe that there are other options, there are other ways that Enlightenment can go.
But right now, it appears that this is where Enlightenment has led to in the United States.
This variety of liberalism is now regnant, and it appears there may be a closer connection again.
I hope and believe there are other ways for liberalism to go, but right now the idea of George Soros and how he's tweaked what he means by open society, I'm afraid that's where we're stuck.
That's our opponent.
Yeah, classic liberalism should be focused on the individual liberties of the individual.
In this case, it is the power of one individual, of the man who is backing all of these people who really are just Puppets for his larger cause.
The books are The Plot Against the President and most recently The Permanent Coup, authored by our special guest Lee Smith.

Okay, Schumer.
You take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you.
So, even for a practical, supposedly hard-nosed businessman, he's being really dumb to do this.
What do you think the intelligence community would do if they were motivated to?
I don't know, but I, from what I am told, they are very upset with how he has treated them and talked about them.
An incredible soundbite from the most senior Democrat in the Senate, Chuck Schumer, on Rachel Maddow's show, where he's openly saying that the intelligence community can take revenge on the incumbent president, which is strange because the intelligence community is part of the executive.
They work for whoever the American people have chosen as their leader.
Lee, this is... Look, I come from a family That escaped communism.
My father was a political prisoner who was liberated by the revolutionaries of 1956.
You're an expert on the regimes of the Middle East, the authoritarian dictatorial regimes, the police states, what have you.
In the Soviet Union, in the Communist bloc, they didn't actually say this out loud.
They didn't go on television and say, we can take you down with the intelligence community.
They, you know, it was understood.
How much of a Alice in Wonderland bizarre place are we in that not only is there a deep state, but the elected representatives of the people are actually openly Gloating about the revenge of the intelligence community against the head of state?
Right, I mean it's pathetic.
I mean that to me is the essential point.
An elected official, a senior elected official, Charles Schumer is here boasting about how powerful the intelligence community is, and they can take you down any way they want.
I mean, it's it's it's repulsive.
Who is supposed to be running this country?
The representatives of the American people, right?
That's what's central, who the American people vote for, not who's lurking in dark corners in Washington, D.C., with six different methods to take you down.
It's repulsive.
And Rachel Maddow, allegedly a member of the press, gloating like a little Renfield here along with Chuck Schumer.
It's repulsive, but that's a perfect picture of where we are right now.
And that's who the Democrats are.
And I don't want to hear people saying, oh, I don't understand.
Here's the left.
And they're in favor of the spy services.
Yes, of course they are, because historically that's what the left is.
That's the whole project, to get the state behind them or to have the state behind them.
And that's where we are now.
You saw the left saying one thing for decades when the state was not behind them, when the state was not controlled by the left.
Right?
But now that it is, they're more than happy to use the institutions of the state against their opponents.
Yeah, the left, which was anti-establishment all through the 60s and 70s, now loves the CIA, now loves the FBI, now loves overzealous local district attorneys.
I think, yes, it was Ben Shapiro at the weekend that tweeted out, oh, the Democrats will rue this day because when things change, Republican district attorneys will prosecute Democrat presidents, which would really be us thinking into authoritarian kind of, you know, banana republic.
Lee, I completely disagree with Shapiro's analysis, because conservatives would never do that.
If they wanted to be that aggressive and amoral, they wouldn't have the spine to do it anyway if they wished to do so, and I wouldn't want them to, but this idea that, oh, what goes around comes around, I just don't buy it.
You?
No, I agree.
And look, I mean, another way to understand, I think, our checks and balances system is as a deterrent, right?
I mean, because part of the checks and balances, you have two different parties.
And the idea is that one party should be saying like, well, look, if we try to pull this with them, They'll just come back and they'll do it to us.
But what we've seen over the last several years, I mean, again, how many people on Capitol Hill came to the defense of Donald Trump?
How many came to the defense, came to work with Devin Nunes until they started putting wins on the board, right?
And with Donald Trump in lots of ways is back against the wall.
How many people are actually coming to his defense?
And that's dangerous, the fact that we do not have that system of deterrence in Washington.
Because what it means is that people who have seen, like you and me, like whether they voted for Donald Trump or George W. Bush in the past or whatever, Republican voters, half of the country, have seen the Republican Party.
As a political instrument, right?
Not only to advance different causes and policies, but to protect them from the policies and causes of the Democratic Party.
If that deterrent is no longer there, That's an extremely dangerous situation when half of the country is left on their own.
It makes half of the country vulnerable and it also makes half of the country, if we realize we no longer have a political instrument that works on our behalf in Washington, what do we have going for us?
We don't want to see that happen.
We want to work within normal American politics.
If it's not only the Democrats, but the Republicans who are making it impossible For us to work within the boundaries of normal American politics, what do we have?
So again, more danger ahead.
What do we have left?

All right, so here's the big question.
President Trump was in New York this morning.
Bragg has charged him with allegedly 30-plus counts.
What happens now, Lee?
Is President Trump, given the way you understand how such regimes work, police states et al, is President Trump going to be stronger than ever?
What is your political prediction?
Well, I mean, I think we're already seeing even a larger surge in the polls defending Donald Trump.
And I think that as far as, you know, it will help him for the primaries.
But I mean, what that means for the 2024 race, we don't know.
The other thing I think we've seen is we've seen them chase him for six and a half years.
I mean, they're not going to let it go.
The idea that he would win the nomination for 2024 and they're like, well, you know, I guess Republicans, they voted for the guy.
He came through the primaries on top.
So, you know, let's give him a break.
I mean, that's just not going to happen.
I think that once we've come to this point, and it's not going to get better for a while, it's going to get worse.
We've all seen the different news items coming out, not only about Donald Trump, but other attacks.
We've seen the different news items coming out, not only about Donald Trump, but other attacks.
I mean, everything, it's a moment in which we're meant to feel demoralized.
But I know, Seb, that one of the most important things you do is not just inform your audience, but you help remind them who we are as Americans, and it's always a struggle.
It's always a struggle for liberty, right?
I mean, this is one thing, one of the things we have to remember.
We keep using the phrase God-given rights, but God didn't just expect you to sit back and take it for free if there's an assault on them.
You have to fight for them.
You have to struggle.
We have to struggle for what we have.
We have to struggle for the country.
And we see that that struggle is not going to get easier anytime soon.
It's still the meaningful fight, though.
It's why we're here right now at this time.
To fight this fight.
Can the police state tactics, can that genie be put back in the bodily?
Not now.
No.
I mean, I don't see how.
There's no evidence of this in history.
I don't see it happening right now.
I believe that eventually, you know, eventually things will change.
But right now we're in that place.
And I think the more and more we realize that we are in that place, the more clearly we see things, the better chance we have in our own fight to get out of this place and to move on to something else.
Yeah, we have to diagnose the severity of the situation and one of the best places to start to do that is to read what Lee Smith has revealed to us.
The books are The Plot Against the President and The Permanent Coup.
