Time Text
The End
The End was straight.
But sometimes we like to give you a little peek behind the curtain, and that's what I'm going to be doing as we open America First today.
Welcome to the Salem Network.
I'm Sebastian Gorka, former strategist to President Trump.
We are in a midterm election year, and you've heard it a million times before.
This is the most consequential election ever in your lifetime.
Yada, yada, yada.
Well, this one is.
And what we're doing for the next few months is we're going to provide you with the rhetorical ammunition you need to understand what has happened to America.
Yesterday in our production meeting we went through just some of the evidence that this nation is in the hands of arrogant and incompetent individuals who actually hate America.
I welcome your suggestions as to other pieces of evidence we could use, but we are building a library of cuts that we are going to use again and again and again, so you will have the ammunition in your discussions and arguments with those around you to demonstrate.
Truly, who's in charge?
Let's begin with the Second Amendment.
It is the civil right that makes all other civil rights possible, because if you cannot remove a dictatorial government, you're not a citizen.
You are merely a subject.
And here's a reminder from the man who now sadly bears the title Commander-in-Chief of what he thinks about your rights under the Second Amendment.
So, to gun owners out there who say, well, a Biden administration means they're going to come for my guns... Bingo!
You're right if you have an assault weapon.
The fact of the matter is they should be illegal.
Period.
That's not a good start.
That was very low.
Is that a problem with the cut, gentlemen?
Or is that a problem with the settings of the cut?
Let's try it one more time because it really is... Nope.
Play it again.
Cut one.
So to gun owners out there who say, well, a Biden administration means they're going to come for my guns... Bingo!
You're right if you have an assault weapon.
The fact of the matter is they should be illegal.
Period.
Biden telling his CNN counterpart that he's coming after your guns.
Bingo.
It's not just disarming you, it's threatening those that do not share their political identities.
Here is the leader of the Democrats in the Senate, Chuck Schumer, threatening Supreme Court justices.
Cut to.
I want to tell you, Gorsuch!
I want to tell you, Kevin!
These cuts aren't working.
Alright, I will... Well, I'm not getting anything in my ear.
Well, I'm not getting anything in my ear.
And if I'm not getting it, then... I don't know if my listeners are getting it.
Have we fixed it, John?
Are we good?
All right.
Then we'll go on to cut three.
It's not just your rights.
It's not just taking away yours and threatening Supreme Court justices.
It's about the elite's attitude to you.
And the price that you pay to live your lives.
This is the individual who serves as the Secretary of Energy for the Biden administration being asked about the oil crisis.
And apologies in advance, the price for gas quoted is from a few months ago.
So don't be shocked when he says $2.80.
Cut three.
In Sturgis, Michigan, it is $2.89 a gallon.
I guess that's better than in California.
What is the Granholm plan to increase oil production in America?
That is hilarious.
Not a good look, Secretary Granholm.
I was with a friend yesterday who is telling me stories of individuals he knows in Northern Virginia who cannot go to work.
We'll take your calls in a second, everybody who's dialing in.
But the idea that people cannot go to work are resigning or losing their jobs simply because they cannot afford the gasoline for their vehicles.
And this administration's cabinet member laughs, but she's not the only one.
Senator Debbie Stabenow of Michigan, like some resurrected Marie Antoinette, well, she thinks it's funny to laugh at the cost of gasoline as she tools around in her brand new electric vehicle.
Cutthroat.
On the issue of gas prices after waiting for a long time to have enough chips in this country to finally get my electric vehicle.
I got it and drove it from Michigan to here this last weekend and went by every single gas station and didn't matter how high it was.
And so I'm looking forward to the opportunity for us to move to vehicles that aren't going to be dependent on the whims of the oil companies and the international markets.
Quote, I didn't care how high the price of gas was.
Because I wasn't a victim to the whims of the oil companies.
That's funny, this new message that it's the oil companies that are suddenly greedy, that's strange because I thought we were told by Secretary Granholm that it's an international market and you can't do anything about it.
Oh, and on top of that, why weren't the oil companies greedy for four years under President Trump?
Why did they suddenly get greedy now?
Why weren't they greedy under Obama?
It's got nothing to do with shutting down oil exploration in America, has it?
Or cancelling the XL Keystone Pipeline?
But it continues.
Perhaps one of the most egregious individuals, the most morally Bankrupt, members of this administration, is the individual who's supposed to secure our borders, who's responsible for homeland security.
Alejandro Mayorkas, after we fixed the border regime, said this, cut six.
We are following an administration that frankly dismantled our capabilities to address it, and so we are building it from the ground up.
We lost four years of investing in the countries from which these individuals are migrating.
Our safe and orderly systems were torn down, and so we're rebuilding them.
It's not good to get really angry on live radio, but that man, that thing, angers me.
As an individual who had to stand there in front of the mainstream lying legacy media at the beginning of the administration, And explain why we're closing down travel from the hotbeds of terrorist activity from seven nations that couldn't secure their own databases when it came to people coming to our country.
The idea that this Reprobate.
Scum.
Dares to say that we dismantled the system and that they are rebuilding it.
Rebuilding it by allowing two million illegal aliens into America in a year and a half.
My orcas is probably the worst.
But let's put a cherry on top.
Nancy Pelosi has this to say about the man who we're supposed to believe is in charge.
And who is more empathetic than Joe Biden?
Who has a bigger vision, more knowledge, more strategic thinking about all this, more authenticity in associating with America's working families?
Madam Speaker, thanks for your time this morning.
Onward to a great democratic victory.
Thank you.
Onward to a great democratic victory.
Not in my universe, not in the real world.
Nancy Pelosi praising this senile old man who was shouting at Americans yesterday.
We have much, much more.
But I want your recommendations.
Call in.
Help us build our repository of rhetorical ammunition.
The number is 833-33-GORKA.
And don't forget to subscribe to America First on Spotify.
Back with Breitbart's Matt Boyle.
Back with Breitbart.
It wasn't going to your ear, but it was definitely going out.
So now it's our fault.
Apologize.
Everybody calling in said they heard the clips.
Good.
We played it off of a different pot, that's why.
But I thought I'd listened to a cut already when I was in here, so... Yeah, all the regular ones we're playing off of, there's two pots, the first one and the second one, that's why.
The second one is for more permanent clips, like B-roll and stuff, whereas the first one I clear out at the end of every week.
Okay.
So that doesn't get full.
Um, okay.
Uh, titles.
Shapiro and that monologue.
Here's the evidence you need.
Mm-hmm.
And then for Shapiro.
Let me take this back, John.
When will we know who the SCOTUS leaker is?
America First, all please.
Are we calling Matt?
Yeah.
This is going to be him side by side with a picture.
He's on the phone today.
I'm probably going to use cut six.
Yes.
Today's cut 6.
Yeah, I'm not using any of the other cuts, so I'm going to be using cut 6 with Matt.
Cut six with Matt.
Yep.
Minute 50.
Matt's on.
Hey Matt.
Hey Dr. G, what's up?
How you doing?
Doing great, how are you?
Good, good.
Can you hold the phone like an extra inch away from your mouth?
Yeah, how's that?
Good.
We'll talk J6.
I want to play the Steve Ratner cut.
What's on your front burner?
Uh, all sorts of different things.
I mean, I'm tracking the hearings and midterms.
Okay, good.
Alright, standby.
The Jill Sanborn thing, Jeff, that's old, right?
No, I think that was today.
What?
I'll check.
Or yesterday.
Let me double check.
But there's two here.
There's three and four.
I thought these were old cuts.
This is the one with the delay over Skype, right?
Yeah.
That's old.
That's like a year ago.
Why are they on today?
Alright, I'll... But it's fine.
Just leave them.
Okay.
Oh, because he was attacked.
That's why.
He was attacked over there.
Okay, so you'll tee up cut six.
Kiddokes, 45 seconds.
Yeah.
The End
The quest for the MAGA truth is not archaeology.
It's a race against evil.
If it is discovered by the Democrats, the armies of darkness will march all over the face of the earth.
Do you understand?
Oh, we understand.
Somebody's got a sense of humor.
Somebody got my phone number and texted me a little video with a, I guess it's a rhino candidate, from Nikki Haley!
You shouldn't send me anything regarding Nikki Haley if it's not to make fun of that rhino.
This is America First coming to you live from the reliefactor.com studios.
Are you joining us for the trip of a lifetime?

Standwithisraeltour.com.
Standwithisraeltour.com.
It's that time of the week.
We've got to check in with the man who has the best connections in the swamp.
He is the Washington bureau chief for the most influential conservative news site out there.
Bright Butts, Matt Boyle.
Dr. G, always a pleasure.
Thanks for having me.
So are you sitting at home watching the latest circus act of the January 6th committee, Matt?
This hearing today has been painful.
It's boring.
That's a real problem for them.
I mean, their star witnesses are Taking forever to speak just basic sentences.
Like, they say three words, then they pause.
Then they say three more words, then they pause.
Right?
Like, it's so boring that, like, I can't even keep up with the content of it.
But the fact of the matter is that there's nothing new in any of this stuff.
We've all heard all of this from the media screaming about it for 18 months straight.
And by the way, there was an interesting poll today that came out from Fox News, of all places, where they polled the number of issues.
Ask people who's better at this issue, the Republicans or the Democrats.
And Republicans lead on all sorts of different things, like inflation, the economy, the gas prices, immigration, national security, foreign policy.
But the last issue on the list was defending democracy.
And Republicans actually lead Democrats on the question.
But hang on, I thought these committee hearings were all about defending democracy by the Democrats.
It's an absolute, total, complete fail.
Nobody cares what any of these people are saying.
They're total losers.
They've totally failed.
The January 6th committee should just pack it up and go home.
And look, this all interconnects to the midterm elections.
And you saw earlier this week, Congressman Tom Rice from South Carolina, the first impeachment Republican of the ten, who is running for re-election and facing a Trump-backed primary challenger.
He's a really, really exciting candidate and dynamic candidate.
He won by more than double Tom Rice's votes, right?
So he won without a runoff.
Just a total blowout.
on Breitbart Radio a ton over the course of this campaign.
We'll have him on again this weekend.
But the point is that he's a really, really exciting candidate and a dynamic candidate.
He won by more than double Tom Rice's votes, right?
So he won without a runoff.
Just a total blowout.
And it's a sign of bad things to come for Liz Cheney in Wyoming in August.
And for the Democrats more broadly, November is coming.
Talk to us about this result in Texas.
It's not just first Republican, it's the first House candidate who was born in Mexico, correct?
And this is in Elon Musk's district and he celebrated being the first time ever that he voted for a Republican.
There's a sea change happening among Hispanic voters in America that's very similar to the over the next decade.
It's going to be more profound.
It happened very much like over the last decade.
We saw the white working class leave the Democrat Party, join the Republican Party.
You're going to see a similar trend, and it's already playing out as we speak in the Hispanic community, especially in places along the border and in South Florida.
But it's really a national trend.
I mean, Governor Young in Virginia got 50 percent of the Hispanic vote against Democrat McAuliffe.
And so it's not just in those select communities.
Mayra Flores is fantastic.
She's a new star.
She was born in the Republican Party on Tuesday night in Texas.
Again, won without a runoff, a decisive victory.
She was going to win that thing anyway, but the question was whether or not she was going to win without a runoff, and she did.
She blew away the Democrat there.
That is the first Democrat seat to fall in the midterm elections in 2022.
Mayra Flores is going to be a congresswoman very, very soon, as soon as they swear her in after it's certified and everything.
So she's going to be coming to Congress.
We've got reinforcements already on the way, right now, ahead of November.
So that's a huge win for the Republicans.
It's a dagger to Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats.
And it's a win for MAGA Republicans, too, because Myra Flores is not like some pro-amnesty person or anything like that.
Her husband works for Border Patrol, right?
And she's got pictures of her out there wearing Border Patrol hats.
She's huge.
She supports the wall.
I've had her on my show.
She's awesome.
Really exciting star potential here, and I think that people are going to be really pleased with her.
And here's the dirty secret, but it's something that people haven't really figured out yet.
She's not the only one.
There's two other candidates just like Myra who are running right now in South Texas who are mega strong Hispanic Latino women the three Amigas I call them so it's Myra but it's also Cassie Garcia and Monica de la Cruz and I'm telling you this is going to become one of the biggest stories of not just this year but this decade is that the Republican we're going to look back on the last 20 years where people thought that Republicans had to pander to win Hispanic votes and laugh because it was a total lie
The way you win Hispanic votes is by championing a strong vision for the country on immigration, on values, on life, on the economy, and that's what they want.
They want strong leadership in a contrast with the Democrats.
They do not want you to pander.
Matt, we've only got a couple of minutes left with you.
I want to return to the January 6th committee.
If there was a functioning GOP that had a spine, the fact that they're not allowing President Trump to defend himself or have MAGA people during the hearings, wouldn't the real GOP, if it had a spine, be doing a competing event or on the steps of Congress pushing back with the truth about January 6th?
I mean, the fact that they're doing nothing is an embarrassment.
I wish they would do more than just the media interviews and strategy and whatnot.
But honestly, I don't even know if it's necessary, right?
Because January 16 is such a fail.
As I mentioned there, that Fox Bowl, there's other evidence of that, too.
Again, the Tom Rice situation, the coming Wiz Cheney defeat, etc.
I mean, yes, it's always great to do more and run up the score, but in this case, unnecessary.
Like, I don't think they need it.
Like, I don't think we need it.
They're losing so badly that it's... And people are not buying the baloney they're selling that... Who cares?
Right?
Like, so... Now, that's... I wish the Republicans would fight back harder.
Don't get it wrong.
We need some pushback.
In the meantime, get all the facts you need.
They hate it.
They hate it.
Why?
Because it has far greater influence than the mainstream media.
It's Breitbart.com.
And he is the Washington Bureau Chief, Matt Boyle.
Thank you, Matt, for joining us today.
Your call's here on America First.
833-333-GORKA.
What do you think?
Is the January 6th hearing going to blow back?
Is it going to be a boomerang in the midterms?
You sound off.

Oh yeah, rain, thunder, thunder, rain.
But also partly cloudy.
I love Virginia.

25 seconds.

Let's go to your calls.
The call board is full except for one free line, 833-33-Gorka.
Let's go to John, New Jersey, line three.
Hey, Seb.
How are you doing?
Good.
Gooch Listen, I am hearing for the first time, and I do try to keep up politically, and I listen to 990 talk radio all day long, and I gotta admit, I was taken aback a little bit, because it's the first time I heard Nikki Haley referred to as a rhino.
I just was wondering if you can help me out and explain why and what's going on.
Sure.
Well, first things first, do your own homework.
Check out what she said about nominee Trump, how she trashed him before he became the actual nominee.
Then look at what she said in February of 2021 when she said President Trump has no future in Republican politics.
And the thing that is worse than being a rhino, she's a real swamp creature, John, is after she left her position in the Trump cabinet, UN ambassador is in fact a cabinet level She went to an event where she shared the stage with and then afterward took smiling selfies with none other than John Brennan.
John Brennan, Obama's CIA chief who called her boss, President Trump, a traitor and a Russian asset.
So that's enough evidence for me.
Nikki Haley is a swamp creature, John.
Alright, well I appreciate it, and keep going strong.
That's just the first I've ever heard of him.
Alright, check it out for yourself.
She is bad news and she is not a real Republican.
Let's go to line one.
Brian Cleveland, welcome to America First.
Hey, Teb, you're talking about the soundbites of how these people hate you and what not?
Yeah.
What about the one where, uh, you know, Biden, you know, gets his creepy, sleepy, creepy voice and he leans over the podium and he tells the American people, you know, I'm getting sick and tired.
I'm getting fed up with you.
I'm losing my patience because you guys aren't getting your vaccines.
Okay.
That's a great one.
When he gets angry and creepy about vaccinations, it is on the list.
I am riding it right now.
Great suggestion.
Thank you, Brian.
Let's go to Glenn, Arizona, line two.
Hey Seb, so there's a Supreme Court decision that should be coming out soon about the Christian teacher that prayed with his students.
So I have a proposition.
I've asked a few people this question.
They don't have a good answer because there is none.
Do you think that the Supreme Court, do you think our government would be taking the teacher to the Supreme Court, having them litigate everything?
If this was a Muslim doing a Muslim prayer?
I highly doubt it.
But the reason I say this is, this is starting to realize, we're starting to realize, even teachers that are government teachers, There are two sects of society now.
Those who are in and those who are out.
You and I are out.
And so what I've said is there are certain protected classes of people.
LGBT are one of them.
Well, look, if you're white, heterosexual, male, that's it.
So the Democrats, what they've done is they've carved out certain sects of society that you can't even criticize now.
I mean, criticism will see us almost criminal against these people.
And so that's pretty much where we are is he's gone after because he's a Christian.
Well, look, if you're white, heterosexual male, that's it.
I mean, forget about it.
And if you're a Christian, then, you know, you are the only group.
You're the only, you know, identified group that can be criticized and targeted willy-nilly 24 hours a day.
No, you're absolutely right.
If it was a Muslim who had been praying with his students, it would have been a completely different story.
Now, a Jewish individual, I'm not so sure, because the DNC and the Democrats hate Jews.
We know that.
If you look at the squad, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar and AOC who still, still supports the racist anti-semitic BDS movement.
But great call.
Thank you, Glenn.
Let's go to David, California, line four.
Thanks for taking my call, Dr. Sebastian.
Listen, I'm so fed up with the spineless weenies on the GOP, self-serving rats.
You know, they should- I agree with you.
They should make a stand in support of Donald Trump, because how many times has he supported them when he knew damn well they were marginal?
These people just stand there and look and look and do nothing.
I am fed up with them.
I cannot believe that if you look back at all the people that Donald Trump supported and stabbed him in the back, People need to see the support for our future president.
That's my feeling today.
I'm just sick of it.
You're right.
Whether it's Mitt Romney or others who desperately begged President Trump to endorse him and he did.
And what did he do?
Stabbed him in the back.
President Trump is very loyal to those who are loyal to him.
He knows what that means.
But the GOP We need to become the GOP.
Thank you, David.

Less than 24 hours ago, we gave you the shocking news of a 75 base point increase in the Fed's interest rate.
What does it mean to you?
Not just your credit card payments, your mortgages, your car payments.
What does it mean for inflation and for volatility in the market?
Nobody better to answer that question for us than the president of Cornerstone Real Estate Investment, a CPA for more than 30 years, a man who has broken over a billion dollars in syndicated real estate, John Harvey.
Welcome back to America First.
Thank you, Dr. Barker.
Thank you for having me on again.
All right.
So many of us were expecting this.
We were expecting maybe 50 points, not 75 point Fed rate hike.
What does it mean?
What does it mean for that infamous word volatility in the market and especially inflation?
Absolutely.
This shows you how much the Fed is so concerned with inflation.
And you know, Dr. Gorka, when you have inflation, what you want is a hard asset to invest in.
Real estate is a hard asset.
It has inherent value, unlike a soft asset such as stocks or bonds.
But unlike other hard assets, such as gold or commodities, real estate can provide both monthly income and a tax shelter.
This is especially true with properties that have a shorter leasehold, where you can raise the rent, let's say annually. And most DSPs that we sell, Dr. Gorka, are these beautiful Class A multifamily properties, up to 500 units with annual rents that we can raise right together with inflation. And this will often even beat inflation.
And these assets provide tremendous tax benefits, 100% tax deferral, as well as the potential monthly income.
And they have been doing fantastic during these inflationary environments.
We're seeing annual rent growth as between about 9% to 12%.
And these are, you know, $150 million properties, but with the DST structure, we can bring that investment debt minimum down to about $25,000.
Alright, so you've said DST twice, you've said this magic word, tax deferral, so explain how this Delaware statutory trust system comes in.
The 1031 proviso that's been around now for more than a century, and how this really represents one of the safest tax shelters left for Americans.
So how does it work?
Because, you know, owning real estate and renting it out is a hassle, but you're talking about something else.
Yes, this is a prime time for people who have rental properties to sell.
We've had tremendous appreciation the last couple years, but with interest rates starting to creep up, we're going to see those prices soften.
This is an excellent time to sell, and when they do sell, if they do a 1031 tax-deferred exchange, They can defer 100% of those gains.
Meaning you're selling one property and you're just reinvesting in another DST and as a result you don't have to pay capital gains, correct?
Exactly.
You don't have to pay the federal capital gains.
You don't have to pay the state capital gains.
No depreciation recapture.
100% of that equity is brought over into the new investment.
And what kind of properties are we talking about?
Because I've met with some of the people you work with, the so-called sponsors.
These are very, very attractive types of properties, correct?
Yes, these are large, institutional-grade properties.
The bulk of them are these beautiful multifamily properties that are usually in the suburbs, about 300 to 500 units.
You know, best of class with the business centers, with the gyms.
These guys are at usually 98% plus occupancy.
You know, with this rising inflation, it is so difficult for young people to qualify for a mortgage and to afford a mortgage.
Home ownership is getting even more expensive.
So we're seeing just a huge amount of demand for these class A apartment complexes.
And then also some very attractive commercial properties as well.
Yes, we have within a single DSP you can get into as many as 30 to 40 triple net retail properties like Walgreens and CVS and Dollar General and Walmart.
Talk about diversification!
We also have large student housing complexes right off of major universities, senior care centers, industrial warehouses, Amazon distribution centers.
These are top level Institutional grade properties which we can access for as little as $25,000 because... This is what I want it to be.
We're almost out of time, but I want people to be clear here.
We're talking about incredible properties, but you don't have to be a millionaire to enjoy, to invest, and to have that tax deferral.
Correct, John?
Exactly.
And you know what else, Dr. Gorka, is that these are non-correlated assets.
You could invest, say, in a REIT and have a passive investment in a large institutional-grade property.
But a REIT will often, a publicly traded REIT, correlate with the ups and downs in the stock market.
These DSPs are a non-correlated asset, which means they really just follow the general economic cycle of the real estate market, which is much more slower and easier to predict in its increases and its decreases.
Right, well, I think, you know, DFT Multifamily is an excellent asset class to be in, both to hedge inflation and also to have a non-correlated asset and to avoid just the volatility in the stock market that we're seeing these last weeks.
Well, you have convinced me.

Magnificent.
Why wouldn't I listen to my guests?
Although it's true, some hosts, especially TV hosts out there, they just talk over their guests.
Why do they do that?
I invited you.
I want to listen to you.
I want my millions of listeners to hear what you have to say.
But thank you for pointing it out.
One of the most despicable aspects of the January 6 witch hunt and show trial is how they're attacking people who have nothing to do with January 6.
One of them is Ginny Thomas.
Full disclosure, I know Ginny.
This is the wife of Supreme Court Associate Justice Clarence Thomas.
And now we have people who want to use this political weapon to attack the spouses of Supreme Court Justices.
This is Dick Durbin.
Cut to.
As far as Mrs. Thomas is concerned, she clearly was not just exercising her constitutional rights.
She was deeply, personally involved in what appears to be an effort to overturn the election in the last cycle.
That is a serious matter and it raises a question as to whether the Supreme Court Justice she's married to should recuse himself from all matters related to this.
There is a clear conflict of interest.
So she's not allowed to send emails privately.
She has to be used as a tool to attack Clarence Thomas.
They're still racists.
They were racists when Joe Biden affected that high-tech lynching, a glance, Judge Thomas back then, and they're still racist.
That's you, Dick Durbin.
You're a bigot.
And now you're using this hearing to attack a woman because she's married to a judge who happens to be black and you don't like.
Let's go to Todd in Atlanta, line one.
Yes, Dr. Gorka, I think for your sound bites, you should include Barack Obama.
Hang on, hang on, hang on.
Let me make a note.
Okay, Obama.
Which Obama byte do you want for our library?
Well, one of the most recent was, I think, at Stanford, where he was calling for a censorship board similar to the disinformation board exposed at DHS.
And remember, he also called for a national police force that should be as well armed as the U.S.
military.
And perhaps the most egregious to me was when he declared America was no longer a Judeo-Christian nation.
Wow.
Great, great choices there.
Thank you, my friend.
We are building our library of rhetorical ammunition you need this midterm election year.

Music by Ben Thede
We put together, I think, the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.
*Ding* Let me say it again.
The 2020 election was the most secure election in American history.
Let me begin by asking a very simple question.
Do we know the truth about what really happened in the 2020 election?
I think millions of Americans know something went wrong, and they have little pieces, and no one's really put it together.
I'm agnostic on this question, and I am awaiting more information.
If I believed the president were a Nazi, I might steal an election.
Bold accusations require bold evidence, and they haven't seen it.
We have been working on something big.
Show me the money.
Can we meet?
I've been working with Greg Phillips.
He has a deep background in election intelligence.
True The Vote has the largest store of election intelligence for the 2020 elections in the world.
No one has more data than we do.
We identified in Atlanta 242 mules that went to an average of 24 drop boxes.
But Philadelphia alone, we've identified more than 1,100 mules.
What is a mule?
This is not grandma out walking her dog.
Bad backgrounds, bad reputation.
They are interested in one thing, that's money.
This is organized crime.
in no way, in no time, is that legal.
- This is organized crime.
- Do you have video evidence?
- Four million minutes of surveillance video around the country.
- What you're about to see is disturbing.
So this is 1 o'clock in the morning.
Don't we all vote at 1 o'clock in the morning?
One night, this person, this mule, went across six counties to 27 different drop boxes.
I call it the Mexican Mafia, seriously.
Because they work like that.
This is jaw-dropping.
What you showed is frightening.
It's just sickening to me.
Now we come to the most important question of all.
Was the magnitude of vote trafficking enough to tip the balance in the 2020 presidential election?
It's not a leap to say this would have made a difference.
They have ruined election day in the United States of America.
That's provable.
And that's enough for me to fight the left with every fiber in my body.
Without free and fair elections, we are not a democracy.
We are a criminal cartel masquerading as a democracy.
2,000 Mules.

Thank you.
Test, test, test.
Hello, hello.
Can you hear us?
Oh, there he is.
Hey.
How's it going, Jen?
Good.
How are you?
Doing quite all right.
Doing quite all right.
I know we didn't get to talk much last week, but I was curious for some of your thoughts on the results of the primary elections.
Let's get Skype up first.
Oh, yeah.
Let's get Skype up first.
Are you guys calling us?
Who wants to call you?
Oh, here's our Skype.
I'm keeping an eye on it.
Oh, sorry.
Okay, we're gonna try to call you.
Keeping an eye.
Should be coming, should be coming.
I see it.
Okay, cool.
Answering channel one.
But yeah, did you hear about the, um, did you hear about State Senate District number four, Jen?
State Senate District number four?
No, tell me about it.
A red seat, very, very red seat.
In the primary, there were six Republican candidates and two Democrats running.
So guess what happened?
Ridiculous.
Yeah, the two Democrats get in.
Yeah, and now that's a seat that's going to be blue for four years.
That should be red.
These Republicans that are doing this are such idiots.
Oh, yeah.
The good news, though, did you hear about 13, about congressional seat 13?
I just tweeted this out today.
Is that Garcia's seat or no?
Yeah, go ahead.
No, it's not Garcia.
It's actually up in Alameda County, and it is a 61% Hispanic district.
And it went Republican 52-48.
That's the new seat.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's the new seat.
And it's 61% Hispanic.
And I think it's really cool that There's some progress being made on that front, because we can feel it, right?
We can feel it in Texas and Florida.
But that's what saves California, is turning Hispanic voters into Republican voters consistently.
Oh, yeah.
If that were to happen tomorrow, it would be a completely different story.
Definitely.
Yeah, for sure.
That's great.
50 seconds.
Hi, Seb!
Seb should be able to talk.
Hello!
Hello!
How we doing?
Doing better than I was last week at this time.
Good.
As I cough my brains out.
Don't do that.
I'm not going to do that.
All right, we had some stories to discuss.
Yeah, they've got the signatures for Gascogne, if you want to talk about that.
Gascogne, we'll talk about that.
They did get the signatures, which is good.
All right, 20 seconds.
Karen Bass.
Oh, the police officers.
Please.
Oh, there he is.
There's my guy.
Good job.
How's your new show going?
Good?
Very well, thank you.
I heard.
Good.
Thank you.
Yes, indeed.
That is a voice you cannot mistake, is it?
President Trump, just unique.

She's back in action.
They can't keep a good woman down.
She is the co-host of The Morning Answer, Jennifer Horne.
Welcome back after your sojourn.
Thank you.
Yeah, it's been a busy couple of weeks.
We had candidate events, we had an election in California, and then I got sick.
Imagine that.
A little rundown, but I'm back in action.
You can't hold me down, but here I am.
How many hours of radio again, tell our dear listeners?
Well, usually about seven, although things are lightening up for me a little bit, so usually now maybe more about four or five hours of radio a day.
I just need to understand, how do you do seven hours of radio?
How do you actually have a voice left the next day?
You know, I'm lucky to have strong vocal cords and I can talk a lot.
My dad can do the same thing.
We're radio brats through and through.
And so I'm just pretty lucky that it doesn't go away until you knock me out.
And over the last month or so, I've been battling laryngitis and that's like a fate worse than anything for me because, you know, you can't try to shut me up.
Now, I'm a neophyte to this radio thing.
You say you've got a strong voice.
Is there anything us radio types do?
Are there any exercises, things you drink?
Just tell me the secrets.
You know, I don't do a lot of, when I was younger, and I used to sing a little bit, and so I would do vocal exercises a lot when I was younger when I was singing, but I don't really do it much for speaking, but I always, I drink a ton of water every single day, and that's the elixir of life.
You drink, it's the one good thing I do for myself every single day is I drink a lot of water.
So they always say take your body weight, divide it in half, and drink that in ounces of water every single day to keep yourself hydrated.
So I try to like, I try to live by that.
I drink a lot of tea, a lot of coffee.
But you know what always helps is lecithin.
If you're feeling like your vocal cords are getting strained, it's a supplement.
Excuse me?
What was that?
I don't even know if I say it right, but it's L-E-C-I-T-H-A-N.
And a lot of singers will use it.
And so when you're feeling a little rough, I also take a lot of vitamins in the morning just to keep everything going.
Otherwise, no big tricks.
You always have a great voice.
That's cigars.
That's just cigars.
And whiskey, many years ago.
I stopped drinking in 2003, so what's that?
Oh my gosh, that's a long time ago.
That's like 19 years.
You're a saint.
I also gargle with razor blades, so there's that.
Black tea.
Industrial black tea.
Alright guys, you've got to follow this lady at Jennifer Horn on Twitter.
So much to discuss.
We've only got you for one segment today, so let's start.
Is it a big deal that this prosecutor gets recalled in San Francisco and the Gascon recount?
I mean, are these blips?
Because I don't want to read too much into it, Jen.
You tell me.
You're there on the ground.
I'll tell you what, it is, and there are 75.
We talked about this a little bit last week.
California went and voted in a primary on Tuesday of last week, and one of the biggest things to come from it is San Francisco, filled with Democrats, recalled their liberal district attorney, Chessa Bodine, and they did so by like 20 points.
I mean, it was not close.
And that sends a message, I think, to all of these 75 prosecutors who have been brought in by George Soros and by the far left in this country to just stop enforcing the laws.
If they can't convince people to change the law, they bring in district attorneys who just don't enforce them, essentially, and they don't prosecute the laws.
And that's what we have going on in San Francisco.
So he's out.
But a lot of people have been curious about whether or not George Gascogne, which is really Chesa Bodine's counterpart in Los Angeles, is going to be gone.
And this week one of the biggest stories is that we had three police officers within 24 hours get shot by criminals here in Southern California.
One of them is going to survive and is in critical condition.
He was shot at a school, in a school parking lot actually, Campbell Hall in Los Angeles.
And then you had two police officers with the El Monte Police Department who lost their lives responding to a call of a guy who was trying to get into a motel room after his wife, whom he had stabbed the day before.
And she checked into this motel to try to get away from him and to safety, and these officers were literally ambushed by the shooter, and they ended up dying.
And these were people who served El Monte because they were born there and served the community, and they have families that they left behind.
And it turns out, the story all too familiar, that the person who did the shooting, the person who's now dead, is someone who should have been in jail under normal circumstances.
He was instead released on probation by George Gascon's office, and this was a career criminal against the police.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
There should be legal consequences.
You should be able to sue the prosecutor who lets these killers out.
You should be able to sue them into the ground, Jen.
I'm sorry.
I one thousand percent agree with you.
If you are a family member of one of those officers today and you wake up and go, why is my husband not coming home today?
And you realize that it didn't have to happen because George Gascon chose not to enforce the law and dropped charges against a known gang member, tattoo across his face, and someone who's been picked up multiple times with guns, by the way.
And this is someone and the hypocrisy is not lost here with the with the element on the left.
And that is that George Gascogne comes out all the time and he talks about gun violence and he wants to crack down on gun violence.
Yet these criminals that he lets out of jail, they're walking around with firearms and they're taking the lives of police officers.
So, you know, all they want to do is penalize the good people and they want to victimize the victims once again.
And so there is some good news.
And that is that the Gascogne, the recall Gascogne movement came out yesterday afternoon and they announced that they have all the signatures that they need to recall or to put the recall on the ballot.
Is this them saying they have them or is this confirmed by the state authorities?
So this is them saying they have it, but it does still need to be confirmed by the state.
What they've been doing in the Gascon campaign is that they've hired someone, they've spent the money to hire someone to actually verify the signatures before they turn them in.
And that's a huge part because if you just dump in a bunch of signatures, there's a lot of duplicates.
These are all pre-checked.
So they feel very confident that they have enough and that they've reached the, I think, 566,000 mark of signatures.
But they are asking people in L.A., and if you can hear our voice and you have friends in L.A.
County, call and remind them to sign the petition because you know as well as I do, Seb, the swamp in California wants to keep these prosecutors in because they cause trouble and chaos.
And they want to destroy, and I'll use air quotes, transform our country.
And they'll want to keep him in place.
And so they'll do everything they can to save him.
We need more signatures than just the 566,000, but they need to be submitted by the end of June because the deadline is July 6th.
So some optimistic news coming from the Gascon recall, and hopefully they are right on the money and their accounting is right and they have what they need to get this guy on the ballot.
Because I believe as long as they can get him on the ballot, Zeb, he'll be recalled.
Talk to us about these shenanigans.
My buddy Joel Pollack at Breitbart is giving content updates on the LA mayor's race.
How is it that they still have, this is the latest I'm reading here, another quarter of a million ballots to count?
Well, there are a lot of mules in California.
So, you know, you have to make sure they've all had their chance to drop their ballots.
It's extremely frustrating.
It feels like a third world.
It used to be.
I'm not that old.
I remember on Election Day, we used to have results on Election Day.
That is no longer the case.
And they are still counting votes in L.A.
because you can cast your ballot as long as it's postmarked before midnight on Election Day, you can Put it in a mailbox after polls have closed and then they have to allow a 10-day period after election day to count and wait for all of those ballots to arrive.
It's pretty insane that on election night Rick Caruso was well ahead of Karen Bass for the mayor's race in Los Angeles and now Slowly but surely, Karen Bass is still in the lead.
And, you know, I know there are a lot of frustrated people who say, why do I even bother showing up if people are just going to steal the election or keep counting votes until they have enough for their person to win?
But that's why it's so important that conservatives turn out and we turn out in droves big enough to beat the cheating, because it's always going to be there now.
And we have to make sure that we're doing our part to turn out and bring our friends because this I don't see going away anytime soon until the Democrats start to lose.
And then all of a sudden they'll change this mail-in ballot situation.
Yeah, we have to make it as hard as possible for them to cheat seriously.
Squish that margin down so that their perfidy doesn't make a difference in the elections.
She says she's not that old.
She's not old at all!
Find out.
Follow her.

That's one other disappointing to Crushed me.
I didn't mention to Jen in California.
My old district, Valedeo, one of the pro-impeachment Republicans.
It was him, one Democrat, and two other conservatives challenging him.
His two challengers combined got more votes than he did, but they split it between them and he made it to the runoff.
Wow.
Just like... The absolute state of the California GOP.
Fifty seconds.
Jesse, is he dialing him now?
We'll just go phone if he doesn't answer.
Yeah, that's fine.
I have a picture of him.
If it comes to that.
And I have a screenshot of his article.
It says video not enabled, but he is on.

All right, so what I have in my hand is this.
So I love the Heritage Foundation, but usually what they do is They publish big tomes like my buddy Jim Carufano's annual book on military strength, which is great and they're free.
Or they do very to-the-point policy papers.
Here's three pages on what the tax, you know, reform should be under the Trump administration.
They don't do this, which is, this is pretty double... I did it double-sided because I want to save the planet because, you know, AOC told me we're going to die in 11 years.
So double-sided, 33 pages, replete with footnotes, endnotes, and it's the first study of its kind that I've seen that deals with this insane cult-like transgender transitioning of minors issue.
It's called Puberty Blockers Cross-sex hormones and youth suicide.
I want to keep you on for two segments, but let me just, for those who haven't read it, I'm going to post it on my Twitter feed right now, on Facebook, on Truth Social.
The biggest take-home, and tell me if I'm missing it, is that you just looked, and it's very interesting because you looked at all the states where this unscientific transitioning of children is allowed, I think without parents' consent, is that correct?
So look, there are some states that have an extra barrier or don't have an extra barrier to kids accessing these drugs.
And it has to do with effectively a natural policy experiment that some states have a provision in law that allows minors to access health care without their parents' consent, at least under certain circumstances.
And other states don't have that.
And you looked at these states, which, fascinatingly enough, are both Democrat and Republican-run, and you questioned the key assertion that is used to justify the hormone therapy, the surgical mutilation, which is, hey, if you don't allow this 12-year-old girl to do this, she's going to commit suicide.
This is the mantra.
You've got to do it, otherwise they're going to commit suicide.
And you found that The reverse is true, correct, Doctor?
That's right.
So, in the states where it's easier for minors to get access to this relative to the states where it's harder, after these drugs are introduced in the United States, and by the way, it's a relatively new thing, it really did not exist in the United States before 2010.
So if we look at it both before and after 2010 and between the states where it was easier and harder, we could see no difference between the two different kinds of states before the drugs come along and after the drugs come along.
In the states where it's easier to access, there's this spike up in suicide so that there's an extra 14% in youth suicide rates in the states where it's easier to access after the drugs are introduced.
And already, so there's a spike with these states that are allowing the transitions.
And we already know, Dr. Green, that The population of those who undergo transition, hormone therapy, cross-hormone, chemical castration with things like Lupron, which is used to, by the way, castrate sex offenders.
This is being given to children to chemically castrate them.
Or the mutilation of surgery, the double mastectomies, the I'm not even going to go into more details.
Those individuals who've undergone that, there is a massive increase in, what do they call it, suicidal ideation in that population anyway, correct?
Right, right.
So yeah, the prior research, first there are only a handful of studies that provide any justification to the Biden administration's claim that these are essential life-saving drugs, that if we don't do this, kids will die.
And by the way, it should be clear to everyone that this is a form of emotional blackmail.
Yes.
To get policymakers and parents on board for things that their instincts tell them aren't right.
They wouldn't go along with it unless they were effectively coerced with this threat that if they don't go along, kids will die, or their own kids will die, which is really coercive.
But it's all based on a falsehood.
There are Only three studies that actually examine this issue, only done in the last two years, and they're very poorly done because all they do is a convenience survey of adults who identify as transgender, and then they compare those who sought and got the drugs to those who sought and didn't get the drugs.
But the problem is, those who didn't get it may not have been able to get it.
Oh, we froze that.
Oh, sorry.
Yeah, we got you.
Those who didn't get it, carry on, Dr. Green.
Yeah, so the problem is that the mental health condition of the control group in that prior research is worse, because one of the criterias for getting the drugs is being psychologically stable.
You're supposed to be psychologically stable.
And so if you sought the drugs and couldn't get them, it could be because you weren't psychologically stable.
If you were institutionalized at the time, you wouldn't be able to get the drugs.
And so all they're doing is finding that people who start out with more severe emotional problems later report having more thoughts about suicide.
It tells us nothing about the effects of drugs.
So there's really no prior empirical research that has scientific validity to support the Biden administration's claim that if we don't get on board for this, kids will die.
It's truly incredible that we're doing this to children based upon an absolute dearth, a lack of any empirical data, either to do with mental health or with the long-term consequences of hormone therapy or the psychological impact of the surgical mutilation.

He has done a great service to this nation and the world by writing this article on the reverse of the accusation when it comes to suicidal ideation amongst teens that have gone through this therapy.

It's been cut seven.
Cut seven.
Mics are on.
Mics are still live on our video stream, Dr. Green.
Sure.
Thank you.
Seriously, thank you so much for doing this.
No, thank you for having me on.
I really appreciate it.
It's been a hectic few days.
I'm sure you've been living in a media storm.
It has been, but you know, this is an important issue and I'm glad that a lot of people are interested in talking about it.
Yeah, well the timing is superb along with Matt Walsh's movie.
Well, and look, I think the momentum is on our side.
All we have to do is neutralize this blackmail claim that is not actually happening.
I just want to be inside that room where that medical professional, you know, tells the parents, you know what, if you don't allow us to mutilate your child and give them, you know, chemical crastrations, they might kill themselves.
I mean, just the antithesis of the Hippocratic Oath.
Well, it is contrary to medical convention in that normally we really emphasize non-invasive, easily reversible, moderate interventions before we ramp up the drastic and irreversible interventions.
But here we're jumping right in the deep end and producing irreversible changes in kids without any scientific foundation.
What are you going to focus on next?
What's the next angle?
For this issue?
Yeah.
Um, well, I mean, it's really just, well, so I think we need to ban social transition in schools.
That is, teachers and guidance counselors shouldn't be providing gender counseling to children and facilitating social transition.
They should never keep secret records from parents.
Right.
So we need to stop social transition.
And we also need to stop, raise the eligibility criteria, the minimum age, And other eligibility criteria for getting these drugs so that we kind of break the fever craze.
And if we can break the fever craze behind this, I think the momentum shifts to us because the natural instinct of parents is not to do it.
They don't want to do it.
So that's what it's called when they do it with the language.
It's social transition.
Social transition is the first step.
That's when kids change their names, change their pronouns, have their Oh, you froze again.
change in school records, change what bathroom they go to, what sports teams they're on.
And then that's the first step.
The second step would be pharmacological change where they begin using these drugs to change their bodies.
And the third step would be surgical change where they change their bodies in more dramatic ways with surgery.
So. - Oh, you froze again.
Dr. Green? - 50 seconds.
Are you there?
Can you hear me?
Yeah, I'm here.
All right, stand by.
40 seconds and we are back.
Okay.
So this photograph on your Twitter page, when is that from?
Oh, that's not me.
That's actually Mordecai Amilowicz.
Who was the leader of the Warsaw Ghetto.
Oh my gosh.
Wow.
I know, I know.
There is a slight resemblance, but it's not me.
No, I thought it was you as a teenager.
No, it's not Young J. It's Mordecai and Anilovit.
Fabulous.
Yep.
And then behind that, that's actually the Western Wall.
I can tell.
Yeah, I can tell.
Stand by.
Yeah.

It's a flipping cult.
What are you cheering about?
I mean, really?
Rear Admiral Weiser?
What are the qualifications?
You cheer somebody if they've done something good or they're qualified.
Not because it's a man wearing a skirt, but that is the White House today and the left.
Let's actually talk about the reality with the author of this seminal work from the Heritage Foundation on puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and youth suicide.
He's a senior research fellow, Jay Green.
Jay, Two observations, if I may.
Number one, it is shocking that any new medical procedure ...doesn't become commonplace or applied in large numbers unless there have been years, if not decades, of trials, of tests, of small-batch guinea pigs, if you will.
We have none of that.
Am I right in saying we have no long-term data on the consequences of cross-hormone therapy or chemical castration on children, do we?
We don't.
I mean, this use of these drugs is an off-label use of drugs that were approved by the FDA for other purposes a long time ago.
Right.
And so there's never been a random assignment experiment that would be necessary for FDA approval for this use of these drugs.
So we have no rigorous science to prove that these drugs are in fact safe and effective for this use.
And we also have no long-term evidence of any kind.
Because this use of these drugs is incredibly novel.
It didn't really exist in the United States before 2010.
Second question.
You just read my mind.
You said in the prior segment, 2010 is when this starts.
Have you, in all your research, and I'm so glad you said in the break you're going to continue to work on these issues at Heritage, please join and support Heritage.
Heritage.org.
Have you found, because there's that quote from Hemingway that, you know, Things happen very, very slowly and then suddenly things happen.
Who was driving this?
Who in 2010 says, yes, we're going to cut the breasts off 12-year-old girls?
Who's the force behind this, Dr. Green?
So, yeah, I mean, you're right.
It did happen gradually and then all of a sudden.
And the gradually was that it started actually in the Netherlands around 1990 at a clinic and then kind of spread from there very gradually.
And it's not really till 2015 that it ramps up dramatically in the U.S.
And it's probably Bruce Jenner changing to Caitlyn Jenner that was the impetus for this very dramatic increase in the interest in changing one's sex or gender identity as a way of potentially of solving one's problem, right?
So the issue going on here is that it's largely girls and girls unfortunately suffer from an unusually high rate of depression and anxiety, especially these days.
It's hard being a girl growing up.
But we've seen this before.
I remember in the 80s and 90s, it was bulimia.
It was anorexia.
And this seems to be the next version of, you know, the group dynamic of the pressures of being a pubescent girl.
This is the new thing.
But you know, Bruce Jenner being on TV screens is one thing, doctor.
There have to be medical professionals who say, we're going to do this to children.
So have you identified a focal point or a center of gravity professionally?
Um, I mean, there are, there are some gender ideology advocates who, who've really helped, um, uh, spread this, but honestly, this is largely the initial interest in this among teenage girls is peer to peer.
And they're getting interested in it and learning about it in the same way they learned about and got interested in eating disorders or cutting.
They're just looking for ways of regaining control of their lives and getting on top of problems of depression and anxiety.
And then there are some adults who offer this as a solution.
To their problems.
But it's a false solution.
It doesn't actually solve their problems.
It doesn't fix their depression.
And by offering them a false solution we leave untreated the real problems they have.
These are so vulnerable.
Such a vulnerable community that are being preyed upon by adults, by erstwhile medical professionals.
And I said it three days ago on social media.
The idea that mutilating your body will make you happier and sterilizing yourself will make you happier.
That's just a non-sequitur, a non-starter.

Dear friends, the woke crowd have seized control of our schools.
We're fighting back.
Now a minority of loud, woke voices are trying to take over our corporations.
They're fighting it in Florida.

Let's push back.

Somebody else who needs to have a megaphone to have their voices heard as loud as possible are the political prisoners.
Yes, the political prisoners in American jails, in American prisons, very close to this studio.
After January the 6th, 800 Americans were hounded, were arrested by the FBI, and some of them are still rotting in prison cells.
Why?
Because they killed anybody, because the only person who died on January the 6th was Ashley Babbitt.
Say her name, Nancy.
Ashley Babbitt, 14-year Air Force veteran, gunned Down by Officer Michael Byrd.
These people may have trespassed, may have damaged property, but they don't deserve to be still held!
A year and a half later, that's political persecution.
Very few people are fighting for them.
Our regular guest Julie Kelly is one of them.
God bless Julie Kelly and American Greatness.
But we have somebody who's really doing the lion's share.
She is the founder of something called the Patriot Freedom Project, and we are delighted to have Cynthia Hughes with us.
Cynthia, welcome to America First.
Hi, thank you for having me.
So, tell our millions of listeners, viewers across the nation, what is the Patriot Freedom Project and why did you create it?
So Patriot Freedom Project is a project that helps wives and children, mothers, fathers, families of people that are caught up in the J6 witch hunt.
Why did you create it?
My nephew, who has been in jail almost 18 months.
He was arrested January 15, 2021 on non-violent charges, no assault charges.
He has been in jail since January of 2021.
Solitary confinement, still in solitary confinement, although it has changed a little bit.
They spent the first six months with one hour a day out of their cell.
Now they get about four hours a day, maybe five.
What is your nephew's name?
Tim Hale.
Tim Hale.
And what is he charged with?
He's charged with the... Well, he's already been convicted.
We went to trial three weeks ago.
He was charged with the famous obstruction... Obstruction of an official proceedings.
Yes.
And was he told by his state defender that you need to plead guilty?
How did it end up going?
No, we went to a jury trial.
Good.
We went to a jury trial, and I'll tell you, the first day of the trial, we were on trial the same week as Sussman, and I watched D.C.
defendant after D.C.
defendant say they were too emotional, that their emotions were running high about what happened on January 6th, and they didn't know if they could separate their bias.
And the judge compelled them to do their civic duty.
Insisted that they had to do their civic duty.
I knew we were in big trouble within minutes.
D.C.
defendant?
What do you mean by that?
Excuse me.
Resident.
Resident.
I apologize.
You mean the jurors?
Yes.
Right.
So the jurors were saying that they were emotionally disturbed by thinking about January 6th and then you knew that was it.
Oh yeah.
Oh yeah.
It was a circus.
What did your nephew get?
Well, we haven't been sentenced yet, so he was guilty on all counts.
And we get sentenced in September, but we hired a new lawyer.
I'm just curious, do you even bother to ask, under what auspices, under what justification is somebody held in solitary confinement on non-violent charges?
Did anybody ever tell your nephew?
Well, they're using COVID as their excuse.
Ah, COVID.
Yeah, the famous COVID.
Talk to us about the experience of your nephew, but also the others you support through the fund.
How has it been?
How do these people hold up under these conditions?
It's very rough.
It's very, very rough.
It's so rough on these women and children.
There are almost 870, 860 people caught up in this.
Of that, almost 100 people are behind bars.
And it's not just in D.C.
We have people in jail in Virginia, Georgia, New York, Oklahoma, Florida, all over the country, North Carolina.
D.C.
inmates, specifically, they are held in these crazy solitary confinement conditions.
The people that are in D.C., like my nephew, for example, there's no video visits.
You're lucky if you get a phone call a day.
There's no in-person visits.
There's a family in town right now who joined us at our press conference yesterday at the Capitol who is hoping she will get to see her husband tomorrow.
She has two little boys, five-year-old, seven-year-old.
Her five-year-old told her husband he doesn't remember his father's face.
How do you justify this?
What was your message at your press conference yesterday?
That due process has been denied.
That families are separated.
Women are not able to visit their husband.
Children are not able to see their fathers.
There's not enough coverage of what's going on.
These ridiculous hearings that are being aired are just to create shock and awe.
They only want to excite the people or hope that they will excite the people in our country to say, look what happened.
Bingo.
because we have the midterm elections, which are probably going to be the most important election of most of our lifetimes.
Bingo.
But most importantly, they want to keep Trump off the ballot in '24. - Bingo, bingo.
And they want to do one more thing.
They want to not just intimidate you, your family, your nephew, and the other 890 people, They want to intimidate all 74 million that voted for President Trump.
She's Cynthia Hughes.
She's going to stay with us for one more segment.

I got to ask you to share with our millions of listeners what you said in the break.
Your nephew, who's been charged, who's been convicted of this non-violent crime for obstructing an official proceeding.
What state did you find him in after a year and a half in solitary?
What's happened to him?
This is a kid who's, what, 12 years in the Army Reserve, super fit, clean cut, and then what has he gone through?
So, well, he hasn't been able to get grooming services, so he hasn't had a haircut.
He hasn't shaved in a year and a half.
So, no.
What about medical issues?
So, he got sick a few months ago.
He had a very, very bad ear infection.
Bleeding from the ear, trouble hearing, a lot of pain, pressure.
They never let him see a doctor.
The D.C.
prison didn't provide medical assistance.
No, they brought in a nurse assistant.
She flushed his ear out with some peroxide and gave him some penicillin.
But now he's got a little bit of hearing loss in his ear.
But we don't know if it's permanent.
We haven't been able to see a doctor or a specialist.
And what he has gone through isn't unusual for the people who have been incarcerated.
Awful stories for most of them, correct?
Yeah, yeah.
They're all They're all being truly persecuted.
They're just denied basic human rights.
The separation from their families, just the entire denial of due process.
It's not okay.
We create a Patriot Freedom Project to help the wives, we pay bills, we pay rent, mortgages, we help with holidays, we have back to school coming up, we'll raise money, we'll ask people to donate back to school supplies, and we make sure they get through the holidays.

Okay, I've got to calm down.
Next, Victor Davis Hanson.
Stay here on America First.
I'm from Jersey.
We have put together, I think, the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.
Let me say it again.
A person picking up ballots and running them to the drop boxes.
This is not grandma out walking her dog.
Bad backgrounds, bad reputations.
They are interested in one thing, that's money.
And in no shape, in no way, in no time is that legal.
This is organized crime.
Do you have video evidence?
Four million minutes of surveillance video around the country.
What you're about to see is disturbing.

You ran a college.
Thank you.
Can we even fix higher ed?
There's schools I think we can do.
Can we save higher education in the colleges?
No.
You've got to overthrow it.
Control-Alt-Delete is how you fix American higher ed.
So you've got to start over.
And we've got some ideas on the policy side when we have more time another day to fix it.
But people need to understand, you know, pick your spouse, your friend, put three hands together.
There's no more than 15 colleges you need to be entertaining sending your kids to.
It's that bad.
We, quote, have to overthrow them, control, alt, delete, with regards to higher education.
That is the new president of the Heritage Foundation.
His first week in office, he came on the show, former president of the Catholic College in Wyoming.
That's his opinion.
Is that how we save a Western civilization, start with higher education?
I know our very special guest for America First one-on-one will have views on that issue.
I'm Sebastian Gorka and he is Professor Victor Davis Hanson, Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution.
Welcome to America First!
Thank you.
Professor, we've been going back and forth emailing each other over the last few days.
My son has graduated from Stanford.
We went through the proceedings, the commencement.
I played clips of the prayer from the Dean of Religion that opened the ceremony.
I played the blessings from the in-house rabbi as well.
My commentary was, it's strange to have a blessing and a prayer that doesn't mention God and talks about Judaism as a tradition, not a religion.
What I didn't share with my listeners, and I've saved for our conversation given your storied background as the preeminent classicist in America today, my son majored in classics.
I listened to the head of the department give his graduation speech, and the second sentence was a mea culpa for slavery and the lack of female voting rights in Western civilization.
I put that as the scene setting, the stage setting.
Is there a history of a civilization, a culture, faring well or even surviving, Professor, when its elite hates its own history?
Well, when that starts to happen, then you have to have some kind of Re-enlightenment or Renaissance.
So if you look at the Neronian period and the literature of that period, Petronius, Plutonius, you get this sense that affluence and leisure had created a lot of self-hatred.
But then you had the five good emperors come in.
You had a hundred years of correction.
And France was intellectually bankrupt between the wars and its army reflected that collapsing in six weeks.
But then it had sort of a recuperation after World War II.
In fact, its troops did very well under American auspices in the last year of the war, so we have to have that enlightenment and that rebooting, and if we don't, no, you can't survive.
I graduated from that department in 1980, and I can tell you that half of my faculty were from Austria, Germany, France, and Britain, and it was the most intellectually rigorous, philologically rigorous A political department in the country.
And you could even argue that it was very, very narrowly philological.
But the point is, I got a wonderful training.
And I noticed somewhere around after 1995.
I really asked some graduates.
So we lost you for a moment.
We lost you for a moment.
In 1995, what happened, Professor?
I was not able to, the pool of applicants for jobs as classicists was not reassuring linguistically or philologically.
In other words, the stuff of teaching Latin and Greek and literature in Greek and Latin, which is important as well as the translation, they were not being trained as they should in graduate programs because of, at that time, called theory.
And that was Foucauldian post-modernism, post-structuralism, but it was the precursor of the woke movement.
And now, as you know, some classics departments have dropped the Greek requirements, such as the Princeton undergraduate degree.
Now that requirement of a renaissance, of a rebirth of a culture, Historically, who have been the catalysts for that?
Could it be a groundswell?
We see this pushback against CRT amongst parents across America.
Or does it have to be a counter-elite?
Because I don't see much of a counter-elite being built.
But historically, when civilizations lose their way and get mired in self-hatred, where does the counter usually come from, Professor?
It's kind of an alliance.
There's a populist backlash from the middle class that kind of figures out they're targeted.
And I think they really are targeted by this administration.
And they feel that if they don't speak out and become active, very active, they're going to be extinguished because the middle class is always the target of the left-wing elite.
And so then they find among their ranks people to represent them.
And sometimes there is a counter elite, but you can't really count on the intelligentsia or intellectuals or professors or lawyers to come in and be your leaders.
You need somebody like Lech Walesa or somebody, a man of the people, woman of the people, at least politically.
The Republican establishment political class had shown that it was not up to the task.
of challenging the woke movement in its early forms in the, you know, at the turn of the millennium.
Everything that we're experiencing now, Barack Obama introduced to us.
And then the people came and said, you know, in 2010, we're not going to take it anymore.
But there was no leadership at that time.
You know, Mitt Romney was not going to embody or represent that popular backlash.
In fact, he was going to modify it or repress it or try to make it presentable.
The way that John McCain had done the same in 2008.
So we need somebody that Donald Trump, of course, encouraged it.
He didn't create it, but he saw where it was and he sort of embodied it.
And so I think is Governor DeSantis and some in the Republican field.
I don't see a Romney-like or a McCain-like establishmentarian that will be a serious candidate in 2024, much less among Senate and House candidates this year.
He's not a manual laborer or a trade unionist like Lech Wałęsa, but you're saying there is a common tissue that binds Lech Wałęsa to what President Trump represents?
I think so.
You're seeing that across the board.
You see these elections where Mexican-American candidates that are conservative and they're not talking about transgenderism or late-term abortion or how wonderful the logistical retreat from Afghanistan was.
They're talking about we can't survive in a country when there's no baby formula or when there's no tampons or when you pay $7 of gas for diesel or when the government doesn't care about inflation and lies to you that it's greedy corporations as if they suddenly appeared out of nowhere around 2022.
So they understand that this administration does not like them and all these problems that are making their individual lives horrific were self created.
They didn't have to happen, but they happened for a reason and that was an ideological assault on the middle class and they lack the romance of the poor and they lack the taste apparently of the wealthy.
But there seems to be, it truly is as if history is in a hysteresis, a chronic retelling of itself.
Because when you hear Democrats, Senators, Secretaries of Energy say, what a delight to drive past the gas stations in my brand new electric vehicle.
I can just laugh at the prices and everybody should be driving them.
Then it really seems to be as if Marie Antoinette isn't a ghost, but she's a zombie and she's alive and well in the Democrat Party.
Yeah, the Democratic Party.
I mean, let them eat Teslas, right?
They're the party of the very wealthy.
We know that from zip codes and congressional districts that are the wealthiest or the bluest.
We know that from the Fortune 400.
We know that from a lot of barometers, that the Democratic Party is controlled by the hyper-wealthy.
And in California, just to give you one example, The people most responsible for this mess are Dianne Feinstein, a Barbara Boxer, the former senator, a Jerry Brown, a Nancy Pelosi.
If you look at Gavin Newsom, these people lived in Rancho Mirage, they lived in Napa, they lived in Presidio Heights, they lived in Kentfield, and they don't have They don't have and they don't care about people who have children in the L.A.
school districts, or they have to wait over the homeless in Stockton, California, or they're dealing with crime in Modesto, or they don't have any water and they're trying to farm.
These problems were all created by them on the premise that their wealth and influence, whether acquired by marriage or inheritance, or in some cases, like Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein, through connections with Chinese firms, That insulated them from the ramifications of their own ideology.
And that's part of the problem of the Democratic Party.
They're so elite.
And they don't have any contact with working and middle class people anymore.
And the familial connections I enjoy in reminding my listeners that, of course, the current governor of California is none other than Nancy Pelosi's nephew.
We are talking to the senior fellow at the Hoover Institution, Professor Victor Davis Hanson, author most recently of The Dying Citizen.

Professor, you wrote a seminal work, The Case for Trump.
I am pretty assured of the fact that my former boss will be running if we win the House and the Senate.
We have to witness and we have to diagnose what is happening today with the January 6 witch hunt inquisition star chamber or what you call it.
What do you see as the strategic objective of this illegitimate committee that doesn't have GOP nominees in it?
Is it to continue the criminalization of those who came to the march that support President Trump?
Or is it really about making it impossible for him to run again with criminal referrals being the end product?
Yeah, I think there's three reasons.
One of them is that they have no counter-argument for the catastrophes they induced.
And they know they're going to pay a terrible price in November So this is sort of like Putin's price hike or Rover's weight or an assault weapon.
It's something that's a distraction.
They can't deal with inflation or fuel prices except for the border.
And second, they don't like Donald Trump to the degree that they're obsessed with him.
So you take away Donald Trump.
If Donald Trump Announce tomorrow that he's not going to run.
They would probably fold up and congratulate themselves Yeah, and so that that's it the third.
They want to send a message to this middle-class Populist movement and they say that we are going to enforce the law asymmetrically against you so if I have no problem with a January 6 Commission if it was If its mission was to investigate rioting and harm at federal sites.
So in a perfect world, not even a perfect world, Sebastian, just what we would expect from a select congressional committee, there would be the minority party would have their representatives and Nancy Pelosi would pick hers and Kevin McCarthy, they would talk.
And we've never done this where we said, basically, if you were Nancy Pelosi, you can only serve on this committee If A, you voted to impeach Donald Trump, and B, you're not viable in next November election, you're going to be out, then you can come.
And they found two people willing to fit that criteria.
And then they said to themselves, if you, on May 31st, 2020, were one of the many thousands of people that tried to break through to the White House grounds, and you sent the President of the United States down into a bunker, because you were trying to reach him, and you torched the historic St.
John's, Church, that is not an insurrectionary activity, as was January 6, or trying to burn down a federal courthouse.
So There's no symmetry.
We're saying one day, I don't have any problem with arresting people who broke the law, who unlawfully entered the Capitol.
But you have to say this in a wider context.
This committee is very concerned about domestic protests that go attack federal property.
We're going to look at January 6th.
We're going to look at the federal courthouses in Minneapolis.
We're going to look at Seattle and Portland.
We're going to look at the billion dollars of damages, the 35 dead.
And the 14,000 arrested all through May.
And the attacks on federal property of the White House.
And they're not doing that.
There's no give and take.
There's no argumentation.
dissension on this committee.
I've never seen a select committee like this.
Well and there's no there's no opportunity for the accused to provide their counter to provide their evidence and the fascinating thing is even the witnesses for the quote-unquote prosecution aren't sworn.
They're not giving sworn testimony which is very very strange.
Does the committee represent professor the apotheosis or maybe The better word is the nadir of the politicization of law enforcement and the permanent state.
Is there a straight line from Lois Lerner to Mike Flynn to the January 6th?
Yeah.
James Clapper lying under oath.
John Brennan lying under oath.
Andrew McCabe lying under oath.
James Comey feigning amnesia 245 times.
Robert Mueller feigning amnesia and doesn't know what the Steele dossier was.
All of that.
The light sentence that Kevin Clinesmith got.
Absolutely.
And so everybody's upset about all of these material issues, no doubt.
Inflation.
and energy and the border.
But one of the things you talk to people, they're scared because they feel that the law is asymmetrically applied, that the FBI will humiliate Mr. Stone, Roger Stone, or they're going to go after James O'Keefe, or they're going to embarrass Peter Navarro, but they're not going to do anything at all.
to you know James Clapper or Andrew McCabe who lied, lied under oath to a federal investigator or to a federal congressional committee and they're worried about that and they say to themselves when a police officer in America shoots anybody unarmed, anybody, their picture appears, they're put on immediate leave and there's a public and a private investigation and answers but when he shoots an unarmed woman
for the misdemeanor violation of going through a window in the Capitol and his identity is hit.
Or when a marquee New York Times reporter like Michael Rosenberg, who was on the case of the January 6th and was there, and he says in an interview that there were tons, tons, he says, of FBI informants, and the whole thing was sort of a joke, and all of his colleagues were into and the whole thing was sort of a joke, and all of Well, then he should be called and asked to explain that.
Nobody's ever done that.
They're not interested in these questions, so they have no legitimacy.
Going to Brian Sicknick, the officer, so much misinformation was issued by the government about the tragic circumstances of his death.
And could this backfire?
Will they continue?
I think it already is.
You think it already is?
It's already sinking.
It's ratings and people are saying, you know, just enough of this.
We don't want to hear any more about Putin's pie psych or the January 6th stuff.
We don't want to hear about assault weapons.
We just want you to get the price of gas to where it was when you took over.
We want to get inflation down to when you took over.
And we want the border to be like it when you took over.
And we want our foreign policy stature abroad like it was when you took over.
That's the simple message.
And they're saying to the American people, we're not going to do that.
We're going to make fun of you and say that everything is great and insult your intelligence.
Are we going to blame it on Donald Trump?
Are we going to get these other issues to distract you?
But we are not.
Going to green light Keystone, or reopen Anwar, or get bankers to finance more fracking.
Now we may beg the Saudis, the Venezuelans, or the Iranians and Russians for fuel, but we're not going to do that.
And they know that now.
So I think, in finishing Seb, I think there's no theoretical limit to the bottom of this party's dissent.
I think all wise they could go down in the high 20s.
They could lose 60 seats, and it's not 60 seats like 2010 or 94.
They're starting almost dead even.
So 60 seats is a huge loss.
I have a question to ask you with regards to the party in a moment, but in the meantime, follow this gentleman at VD Hanson on Twitter, victorhanson.com, and any book with his name on the spine is worth your time.
This is America First one-on-one.
Professor, Let me ask you a very quick question about the party as you just mentioned it.
You don't have to like Bill Clinton, but he was a pragmatist.
Do you see any signs of any pragmatists who live in the real world and understand that ultra-MAGA is not an insult and deplorable isn't an insult and who can reign in the extremists?
No, this party is being run by Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, the Squad and the Radicals.
In Congress, in conjunction with the Obamas as senior advisors who feel that this was an opportunity to go really hard left in a way that they kind of blew redemption for them.
And then there's a Jill Biden, Edith Wilson role that she's playing as a guardian that filters all of this to Joe Biden.
And he is non-compos mentis.
I think he knows he shouldn't be president.
I hate to say that about a president of the United States, but he's not physically or mentally up to the job.
So what I'm worried about is we don't talk about, in America, that our foreign enemies and even neutrals are looking at this and they're thinking, this has never really happened before.
Or an administration imploded in 16 months and it's not got anybody at the helm that knows where he is.
And whether it's Iran vis-a-vis Lebanon, Syria, Israel, or sending missiles over Japan or South Korea or North Korea, or Taiwan vis-a-China, or maybe Putin, I think everybody thinks this might be a rare occasion to really do some things that this administration is just not capable of reacting to.
And that's what I'm worried about.
It's not just the Democrats that have become radicalized.
It's also a conservative establishment that really looks at the Trump years as an anomaly, a blip, and they want to get back to business as usual.
Where does President Trump fit into the history of American presidents?
A new version of Teddy Roosevelt?
Is he an anomaly that will disappear?
Or has his impact on conservativism been so great that it will be a future factor?
Well, I think two or three things.
I think he blew up the idea that you had to go through this cursus anorum where you were a House member, a Senator.
He was an outsider.
And I mean that literally.
I mean, he was the Ross Perot that made it.
And then second, he transformed this sort of blue stocking East Coast Republican Party that was always worried about, you know, privatizing Social Security or capital gains reduction.
Not that they wouldn't be necessarily awful ideas, but he turned it into a populist workers party.
He started using the first person possessive.
Our, our farmers, our soldiers, our lathe workers.
So he redirected Emphasis back to the middle class.
And then he sort of was Reagan-esque when he said, you know, we're in great shape.
All we got to do is close the border and we don't have a problem with it.
We can produce more natural gas and do it more safely and more environmentally soundly than anybody.
Same with oil.
We can make clean coal.
Everything was possible.
So that was his legacy.
The question will be is, Because he incites such hatred from the left, is that his support, not his base, but the necessary support in the Republican Party that agrees with the agenda, are they up for another tumultuous four years?
Are they going to say, is there anybody in the party that would run true?
to Trump principles and enact them and then fight like he did, that fire in the belly, but not distract either willingly or because he seems to incite such hatred from the left.
And I don't know the answer to that.
And have we done, irrespective of his role, have the conservative thinkers, the commentariat, done enough of the intellectual heavy lifting in the last five years to redefine a post-Reagan, post-neoliberal conservatism done enough of the intellectual heavy lifting in the last five years to redefine a post-Reagan, post-neoliberal conservatism in I I think they have, and I say that because nobody who is running
Or running for an office with his eye or her eye on the presidency is sane.
We need a Chamber of Commerce approach to the border.
Or we've got to compromise on climate change.
Or we've got to put these federal leases off.
So we've got to really tell Israel that they're too provocative vis-à-vis Iran.
These are some of the Republican positions.
The white working class really in the Midwest.
Youngstown, Ohio was a self-induced problem and they just got to get over it and go frack or they've got to go learn coding.
That kind of dismissal.
I don't think anybody can run on that anymore.
So there were people that have argued.
I think the Never Trumpers have been totally humiliated because they told us that Joe Biden was a conservative Democrat and that's who they were now.
And there was no such thing.
And so they did all they could to destroy somebody who had represented many of the issues they fought their entire lives for.
And then they helped usher in this disaster.
And so they have zero credibility now.
And they have no, I mean, they were orphaned before, but now they're orphaned without food or clothing.
They're just naked.
They have nowhere to go but become hard leftists.
And some of them are doing this.
Some of them are.
Hopefully the Never Trump movement will be increasingly irrelevant and the rhino establishment will become increasingly an extinct species.

So I always like to take the opportunity to mention as many of our guest's books when he comes on the show.
So I'm just going to mention for now The Case for Trump, The Second World Wars, The Dying Citizen, which is the most recent, but going back in time, some of my other favorites are War Like No Other, The Western Way of War, Ripples of Battle, The Father of Us All, and then one of my favorites, a quick read, is Who Killed Homer.
These books are all on my library shelf.
I recommend them all to you.
Let's focus on the last one, Professor, the dying citizen.
We have seen two million illegal aliens let into this nation in a year and a half as policies of the Biden administration.
We're seeing a shift in demography in states like California, where you live, and Texas and elsewhere.
Does the theory, the putative strategy that we are buying a future constituency because Democrats believe if you're Hispanic and you are legalized and amnestied, you will vote Democrat, does that hold true given your experience in California?
Can they count on the Latino population thinking that transgenderism and $9 gas is a good thing?
No, I think what we've seen is that they lose the second generation and especially young people as they age.
And so that's very important to understand that their commitment to open borders.
They want the poorest of the poor from Chiapas Or the Yucatan or Oaxaca to come up here illegally, illegally, and to be in need of vast federal and state support in housing, legality, education, housing, food, etc.
And then they become wards of the states and they vote and they do.
But they don't want those people to be successful or uprightly mobile, but it's hard not to be in America.
So we've created now a middle class.
And these illegal immigration influxes target them.
Their schools don't have advanced placement when they have to have bilingual education.
Their dialysis centers get overrun.
Their crime spikes.
And they don't like it.
And then when you add these other boutique issues, if you can call them even issues, with transgenderism or going into a Catholic diocese and trying to scream down people after the Roe v. Wade leak.
Things like that it enrages them and when you add the stuff of life and this is the stuff of life when you think of food, building materials, fuel, security and when you can't provide that people say well we came here to get away from that that failure in Mexico and now we're here and it's the same bankrupt left-wing people doing this and so I think we it's going to be a revolution and I think we're seeing some of it in Texas but here in California
Almost every state and local race, there are two Mexican-American candidates.
And there's a conservative, and then there's a left-wing person.
And I think locally, at least here in my area, the conservative is going to win.
And that would be unheard of.
If I had said that three or four years ago, you would think I would be crazy.
But just talking to people, you can feel it.
I drove around my hometown today to get some fuel and go to a doctor's appointment, and just talking to people.
They're angry.
They've had it.
They're confused.
They can't believe the Democratic Party would do this to them.
They don't understand why they would insult their intelligence like this.
Why they're so patronizing.
You mentioned Roe v. Wade and the disturbances of the pro-abortion demonstrators even in cathedrals in California.
How significant in terms of the American history and the body politic is the leak from the Supreme Court of that decisional document?
It's a battle, but it's part of an unprecedented war.
We, I mean, FDR ran a war in 1937 and eight to try to pack the court, but never in our right minds.
And we think a party would promote or condone, or even the president would ignore the fact that they're targeting the homes of Supreme court justices.
And they're going out there to intimidate them, which is a felony, federal felony to do that.
Or you have a Chuck Schumer who just a few years ago went out in front of the chambers and screamed and said that you've sowed the wind and you're going to reap the whirlwind.
You don't know what's going to hit you.
Or when they talk about packing the court.
Or when they mention people by name in a very scary fashion.
Or you have somebody who's caught red-handed after his sister talked him into calling, who was going to kill a Supreme Court justice, and it didn't even make the story.
So there is an unprecedented attack on the Supreme Court, because they feel that the Congress cannot deliver an agenda in a predictable fashion, because the American people are not left-wing.
But since the Warren era, every time they've had A court, they can bend, flip, manipulate, force conservative picks to go left, whether that's a John Paul Stevens or a suitor.
There's dozens of them.
But this court, for now, at this brief moment in time and space, is conservative.
And they can't accept that.
And so they're going to try to destroy it, whether it's packing it or intimidating it or worse.
And so it's just unfathomable that Joe Biden wouldn't get out there and say, This is obstruction of justice when you try to intimidate the highest justices in the United States to vote a particular way.
Are you going to show up out of their house like thugs out of a third world country?
How much is all of what we are witnessing, this radicalism from trying to pack the Supreme Court to the transgender agenda, a direct evolution of Foucault's thinking, the Frankfurt School, deconstructionism, moral relativism, this can be plotted on a timeline, can it not?
It can.
And what's even more ironic about it, that the Reagan economic idea of tax cuts and deregulation Which was more or less continued in part even by all the way into the Clinton era.
But my point is that we created an enormous amount of money and leisure and wealth.
And these foreign, I don't want to be xenophobic, but these ideas imported from the left of Europe, they really had fertile ground to take because people said, you know what, we can talk these insane things.
We can advocate insanity about race or climate change because Things are so good.
So Joe Biden, he would have never said, I'm going to end all fossil fuels, had gas been seven or $8 a gallon.
He only did that because of the Trump success.
And the same thing about the border and critical legal theory and critical race.
They can only say that because they were critiquing a very viable, successful thing that was created by people antithetical to themselves.
But now once they've taken over and they've destroyed that paradigm, uh, People are saying, you know what?
There's no more margin of error.
There's no fat left on the animal anymore.
If you continue to do this, you're right into the vital organs of this country, and it's a lot more fragile than we thought it was.
This very fragile, multiracial democracy That has a very, very high expectation for the standard of living and upward mobility, but it's on the razor's edge.
The book is The Dying Citizen, How Progressive Elites, Triambalism and Globalization are Destroying the Idea of America.

Okay, let's play that cut from President Reagan.
Our founding fathers here in this country brought about the only true revolution that has ever taken place in man's history.
Every other revolution simply exchanged one set of rulers for another set of rulers.
But only here did that little band of men so advance beyond their time that the world has never seen their like since evolve the idea that you and I have within ourselves the God-given right and the ability to determine our own destiny.
But freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.
We didn't pass it on to our children in the bloodstream.
The only way they can inherit the freedom we have known is if we fight for it, protect it, defend it, and then hand it to them with the well-taught lessons of how they in their lifetime must do the same.
And if you and I don't do this, then you and I may well spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it once was like in America when men were free.
Thank you.
The powerful and prophetic words of the 40th President of the United States, Ronald Wilson Reagan.
Professor Hanson, you have stood up to the slings and arrows of criticism for your truth-telling, for your steadfastness when it comes to American values.
Having been at the Classics Department graduation just a few days ago, what is your message to young Americans who wish to celebrate, to nurture, and to study the values of Western civilization, but are already buffeted by the extremists we are witnessing wreak havoc on America every single day?
I would say to keep at it that you're in the majority.
Now, you're not in the majority in the university, but if you can get through the university, if you're going to be a professor, just get a BA or whatever and get out and you can actually take courses that are still there.
They're buried beneath rhetoric and ideology and theory, but they're there.
And it takes a lot of work to find these courses and good professors, but you can find them.
And once you burst out of the university miasma, you will find that the majority of people not only agree with you, but they want you to speak out.
And that these institutions that mold our thought, Wall Street, Silicon Valley, professional sports academia, K through 12, Hollywood, They're not in the majority.
They just influence us as if they are.
But you are in the majority and you will find a supporting audience.
So I'm not just saying everybody be, you know, audacity, audacity and more audacity when you're 21 up for your PhD exams or law school exam.
But you have to be discreet to get what you have to do out of this corrupt system.
It is corrupt.
But once you're out of it, then you're going to be in a position that you'll find so many people who agree with you.
And the future of higher education outside of institutions like Hillsdale and Grove City Professor?
I think it's already devolved into a stamping process, a cattle brand, that you just go there, you don't expect to learn much.
It was very meritocratic based on your high school test scores, and that was the value for employers, but even that is not meritocratic anymore.
It's kind of like it used to be in the 19th century.
Wealthy people went to Princeton, they got their stamp, but nobody thought they were educated.
That era where we have great esteem outside of the sciences for the university of liberal arts is over with.
So if anybody gets a BA in any field of liberal arts in Princeton, Yale, Harvard, Stanford, I think the presumption is that they're not educated and they'll have to show that they did enormously important independent work to find unorthodox professors.
But otherwise we should assume I hate to say it, Sebastian.
We should assume they're guilty of being not trained well for the money they put in for that degree.
This is not going to be a reflection if they were educated.
I think people know that.
It's not a very good bargain anymore to borrow that money and to get a cattle brand.
It sounds like you concur with the new president of Heritage who said, all controlled elite, we've got to start from scratch when it comes to higher education.
I think we can do a lot of things right away.
We can replace tenure by five-year contracts that are merit-based.
We can start taxing these multi-billion dollar endowments very quickly.
We can start to say that at the state level, if you have an academic MA in history or English or language, you can go teach in the public school.
You don't need a credential.
That's just a waste of time.
We'll give you the alternative.
And everybody would leave.
The School of Education is the embryo of a lot of our problems because it trains our teachers.
So there's things we can do immediately.
If they win the House and Senate, and they win 2024, and they are motivated, and they're willing to take the heat, they can make some very radical changes in higher education, just through federal policy alone.
Well, until then, this radio host on behalf of myself, my family, and I think millions and millions of our listeners out there would like to thank you for your steadfast commitment to the truth and the values upon which our civilization is based.
