	- Greetings, welcome dear friends.
	I hope you had a blessed Easter weekend.
	This is the Salem Network and I'm your host for the next three hours.
	We have an amazing slew of guests and actually not so slow an Easter news weekend as would be expected.
	The war for Twitter continues.
	Saudi Arabian princes, investment arms like Vanguard and other trying to sabotage a man who wants freedom of speech, wants the First Amendment respected on the largest social media platform out there.
	We have President Zelensky of Ukraine threatening that Russia is considering the use of nuclear weapons in that war.
	We have Alexander Vindman back in the news, the traitorous, overweight lieutenant colonel who served in the Trump administration, National Security Council, and then shocking news out of Florida when it comes to what is being taught to the children of that state.
	But let me begin with a little personal story, if I may, that illustrates the challenge we face.
	I've told you that after many years of prodding, my muse, my darling wife Katie, surprised me.
	She is far better suited temperamentally to being involved in politics than I am.
	You know me.
	I am a intellectual bomb thrower.
	I call a spade a spade.
	I have no time for the nice formalities and the niceties.
	I just say the truth is more important than waiting to get to a point where you can say what needs to be said.
	She, however, is a little bit more restrained.
	And as such, I was very pleasantly surprised when a few weeks ago she said, I'm running for local office.
	Unbeknownst to me, after she heard that the local library had held a drag queen story hour for young children, she said, that's it.
	Enough is enough.
	This is insanity.
	If you want to be an adult, If you want to cross-dress, if you want to do other things that are abnormal, in the literal sense of the word, yes, abnormal and perverse, you do it on your own time.
	You don't do it in front of little children, and you don't do it on the taxpayer dime at the local community center and public library.
	So this community center has a board of nine individuals, and three positions are now open.
	My wife Katie is running for one of those positions.
	And one of the things that the local community center organizes is a Meet the Candidate event, which happened this weekend.
	So instead of getting away for the weekend, Having some fun somewhere at Easter weekend, we stayed home and then I decided to do my thing as the dutiful spouse for two hours and stand around the community center as my wife explained herself and her campaign to local residents who may have had questions.
	I behaved myself.
	It's okay.
	I behaved myself.
	As much as I could.
	Very early on, a diminutive older woman came up to me wearing a t-shirt with just the words, I vote.
	I don't know a lot of Republicans who virtue signal in such a way, so I had a sneaking suspicion that she's not exactly a fan of what I or this show represents.
	I proffered my hand, and she took it, and the first thing she said is, we do not share The same political views.
	Okay.
	That's quite honest.
	Thank you.
	Turns out she wasn't a local resident curious of the other candidates.
	She was a candidate herself, who shockingly, as an avowed Democrat, a retired lawyer, had only one issue she cared about.
	They were about to spend a lot of our money to put in electric vehicle charging stations at the library, which she thought was stupid, because if you've just come two miles from your house, you don't need to plug in your car so you can go back the two miles to your house after you pick up some library books.
	Makes sense!
	Frighteningly logical!
	And I was shocked.
	She is an environmentalist, but she thought this was not a good shepherding of the taxpayer funds.
	We continued to talk, chitchat, small talk about her travels, how she does home exchanges with people around the world.
	She's traveled everywhere and lived in other people's homes to then rent out or exchange her house here in America, in the DMV area.
	We talked about her family background.
	A Jewish from Central Europe.
	Her trip to Budapest.
	I spoke about my time in Budapest.
	The synagogue refurbished by Tony Curtis that she didn't even know about.
	And then she said, you know, you're more agreeable than I expected.
	A kind of backhand compliment, if you will.
	And then we started to talk about politics a little bit more openly.
	At one point, President Trump's name and Hunter Biden's name cropped up in the discussion.
	After which, she said, the trouble is, at least half of those who voted for President Trump are fascists.
	And she used that word, fascists.
	That's when you realize the enormity of the work we have to do.
	If a Jewish American believes that 20, 30 million Americans are literal Nazis, that person is a victim.
	A victim of groupthink and indoctrination.
	Because if I were a Jew living in America, And I thought, literally millions of Americans were Nazis.
	I'd probably pick up a gun to defend myself from potential extermination.
	Or, with a heavy heart, I'd leave the country.
	But to remain here, really under that influence of what is simply a talking point, because remember, half of the Trump voters are fascists.
	That is nothing more than, of course, Hillary Clinton's talking point.
	The basket of deplorables, which she said is half of those who voted for President Trump.
	Our mission is to ignore people like Lauren, that lady, because she is beyond Helping.
	But to talk to those, the likes of which I also met with over the weekend, who are Democrats who've had enough.
	Who have had it with the pedophilic books in the libraries, which Lawrence says don't exist.
	They do, my friend.
	Who've had it with inflation, the gas prices, the two million illegal immigrants.
	Those are the people we must engage with in the next six months before the midterms.
	Because otherwise, the crazies and those who are the sheep, like Lauren, will affect the destruction of this, the greatest nation on God's earth.

	Okay, so much to discuss, especially with my old boss endorsing JD Vans at the weekend, but first things first.
	You haven't seen the movie, but if we have footage of mules stuffing bags of ballots into Zuckerberg drop boxes in states where ballot harvesting is illegal, like Georgia, and this gets released now, as a shrewd political observer, editor of this website, do you think that can be swept under the rug, or do you think that could have an impact in the midterms, Chris?
	I think it will have an impact in the midterms.
	You know how the progression of these things always goes.
	It didn't happen.
	It's a conspiracy theory.
	If it did happen, it was good.
	It's this whole thing that we're living out in real time right now.
	But I have actually seen some extended clips from the movie and some of the work that Dinesh has done and Trina Voda has done.
	I think it is shocking.
	I mean, it's shocking in the sense of being appalling.
	And the video evidence, I think, is very, very strong.
	A lot of people are going to see this who, you know, kind of felt like something went wrong, but they couldn't quite put their finger on it.
	You know, they just had that intuition that things didn't smell right.
	And they've got a lot of evidence in this movie that is very, very powerful.
	I think will have a big impact on the elections, on the way people think about 2020.
	And yes, there will be a conspiracy of silence in the corporate media about this movie and about the evidence it presents, but this is exactly the opportunity for a prosecutor, maybe the Attorney General in Georgia, to do the right thing.
	And we'll see what happens, but it's all laid out there in the movie.
	And your response to those quote-unquote Republicans who say, stop looking back, you've got to look forward, and it's the next election that matters, Chris?
	We can walk and chew gum, and we can do more than one thing here, and we should be looking forward to 2024 and in 2022, for that matter, in the sense that we want to win and we've got elections to run and good things to do for the American people.
	But 2020 is still very much a hot item, and we have to find out what really happened.
	A lot of that information is now known, and that needs to be widely disseminated.
	Where laws were broken, people need to be prosecuted.
	When it comes to the midterm elections, let's talk about J.D.
	Vance.
	Is Donald Trump the kingmaker par excellence when it comes to endorsements, Chris?
	In a word, yes.
	This was a huge and very welcome endorsement that President Trump made of J.D.
	Vance on Friday afternoon.
	J.D.
	is the mega America First candidate in Ohio and he's going to be a great U.S.
	Senator.
	There is an almost 100% chance that he will now win the primary and in a Trump plus nine state that, you know, it becomes a virtual certainty that he becomes the next senator from from the state of Ohio.
	I didn't rehearse this with you, I didn't clear it with you in advance and Mayor Culper, but this is so massively important.
	Where do you stand on the whole Twitter Elon Musk war?
	Do you think he's a good actor?
	Do you think he can bring changes?
	Or is this just a cat amongst the pigeons that we watch for entertainment as the blue checkmark commentariat go insane?
	You know, here's my sense of this, and I'm not privy to any information that other people don't have and isn't public, but I kind of feel like this is one of those moments that could be like when President Trump came down the escalator in 2015, and a lot of people were wondering, is this guy for real?
	He's flirted with running for president before.
	Is this a publicity stunt?
	And of course, it was very much real.
	And some people got that very early on in the summer of 2015, and others it took a while.
	And my sense is that there might be a parallel here with Elon and Twitter.
	People wonder, is this just Elon being Elon, and does he have some other agenda here?
	Elon has a long track record of being very much in favor of free speech, and believing that that is essential to any type of representative government.
	And so I think that he is a good actor here.
	Again, we'll see over time, but my sense is that he's really trying to do something that would be a blow for free speech.
	And we'll just see how that plays out.
	But my sense is that this is actually a good thing.
	And in the meantime, it's a clarifying event, is it not, Chris, when you see Saudi princes, Vanguard and others, reveal themselves for the anti-free speech activists that they are.
	Yeah, I mean, it's just too perfect, right?
	When a Saudi prince is trying to stifle free political speech in the United States and he's siding with corporate America.

	i have made too many mistakes to count sebastian okay so what is is jd vance not allowed to make a mistake and then change his mind well Of course he is, and just like Anthony Gonzalez, my former congressman who we drummed out of our district, if you will, to me what President Trump did, and I know it's a tough choice, and I'm a veteran volunteer for President Trump in 2016 and 2020,
	And from that standpoint, I was very, very disappointed in President Trump's endorsement of J.D.
	Vance.
	But doesn't that make you a backstabber of President Trump, that you're not supporting him now because he endorsed J.D.
	Vance?
	Doesn't that make you, Norm, the backstabber?
	No, because I... President Trump is not running for office.
	J.D.
	Vance is.
	But you're not supporting President Trump, and he will be running for office.
	So doesn't that make you the problem, Norm?
	Not necessarily, because President Trump also made many bad decisions with Attorney General Sessions, with Christopher Wray.
	Which he actually admitted to in the interview in my book.
	He said the one big mistake he made was hiring Sessions as the Attorney General.
	I'm going to have to disagree with you, Norm.
	I'm going to have to say, if you change your mind about a candidate, That is a very grown-up thing to do, and that's what J.D.
	Vance did, and he admitted it.
	But you need to read those interviews that clearly you haven't read about J.D., where he admitted he was wrong about Trump.

	The next cut is Dmytro Kuleba talking about the city in South-East Ukraine called Mariupol.
	This is the truth about the reality in Ukraine right now.

	The city doesn't exist anymore.
	The remainings of the Ukrainian army and large group of civilians are basically encircled by the Russian forces.
	They continue their struggle, but it seems from the way Russian army behaves in Mariupol, they decided to raze the city to the ground at any cost.
	The city of Mariupol doesn't exist anymore.
	The mayor of Mariupol has said at least 10,000 civilians were killed just over a week ago.
	How can we assist?
	We can assist.
	Some are actually going there to fight.
	It's incredible.
	Some foreign citizens, they've created a foreign legion of sorts for the Ukrainian National Reservists, the territorial forces.
	We have U.S.
	Special Forces that have retired from active service and have gone to assist, some as medics.
	That is a personal choice that can be made by those courageous few who realize just how much a threat this is to international security.
	But there are ways that you can help without picking up a gun and help the Ukrainians who are in dire need of our assistance.
	One of those ways is through the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
	And to talk about this amazing venture that we launched just over a week ago is Tom Tradup of Salem.

	- Well, it's so nice to be with you, Seb.
	How are you today? - I'm good, I'm good.
	You know, we live our lives, we have our three hours of radio every single day and we love it and we love talking to the listeners and the callers.
	But then, you know, you switch on the news and you see an update from Ukraine and your heart sinks and you wonder, what can we do about it?
	Well, there is something that can be done.
	So, will you talk to us in the last few days of this campaign, just how an amazing mission the International Fellowship is on?
	You bet.
	Absolutely.
	You know, the interesting thing about this campaign is we did a campaign last month with Food for the Poor.
	You were a big part of that one.
	And we were trying to raise money for refugee help in Ukraine because the war was just ginning up and it was getting really bad.
	And at the end of the month, when the campaign ended, we were going, gee, we'd really like to keep doing something else, but what could we do that would be not just relief?
	and suddenly stepped forward the international fellowship of christians and jews and they do the most unique thing not that the red cross or food for the poor or any of the other people that are bringing supplies in aren't doing fantastic job they are it's great to be part of that but what the fellowship does is they fly into ukraine with planes that have say 150 tons
	of emergency relief, food, medical supplies, clean drinking water.
	When they unload it, instead of dead-ending back to Israel empty, they load up between 170 and 200 Jewish refugees and take them back to the safety of Israel.
	So it's really a round trip that creates miracles at both ends, and it only costs $42 for anybody to participate.
	Can you put this into the broader context?
	We've just celebrated Easter, the salvation of the world by a man, by a God who took our sins upon Himself willingly.
	Everybody who is a Christian, everybody who wants to do something, asks themselves at this time of year, is there anything more I could do?
	Can I volunteer at a soup kitchen?
	Who do I donate to?
	Why is this especially, the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, such a perfect way to give back to those who deserve our help right now, Tom?
	Well, as we said earlier, it's such a unique round trip.
	Does great benefits at both end of each flight, but you mentioned volunteering or what else can we do?
	This is National Volunteer Week, and there are a lot of people who are going down to their local food bank or helping pick up trash from the side of the road.
	All of that is terrific, and we encourage people to be volunteers.

	Because these aren't, you know, when people hear this news who believe in national sovereignty, in border integrity, they think, Ah, illegals are being arrested by Texas Department of Public Safety, and they're being shipped out of Texas to the swamp to put pressure on Nancy.
	But if you look at the details of it, it's like a high school outing to the Capitol for these illegal immigrants, is it not, Ken?
	It is, and not only that, being familiar with the swamp geographically, you also know it's about two blocks From the cheapest, most convenient, most complete transportation hub up and down the East Coast, Union Station, for buses and trains.
	So, I mean, why wouldn't they want to take the trip?
	This is, look, conservatives were criticizing the federal government when they fly people farther into the country, right?
	Why do we do that?
	Because they're facilitating with taxpayer dollars trips these people want to take to invade our country.
	Well, why should we hold back just because it's our friend and ally, Governor Greg Abbott, doing the exact same thing?
	Now, maybe there's some value, and there's certainly been plenty of press buzz about the so far six, count them, six busloads of illegals that he's delivered to Washington, D.C.
	But That's about it.
	Maybe there's some discussion value.
	You and I are talking about it.
	But we're talking about it in the context that he's going the wrong way.
	Under the U.S.
	Constitution, every governor, when their state is invaded, has the authority to repel that invasion.
	Texas is being invaded.
	Governor Abbott has the authority under Article 1, Section 10, without asking for federal permission, to repel that invasion.
	So why doesn't he do it?
	Why doesn't Governor Ducey do it?
	In fact, the Attorney General of Arizona, Mark Brnovich, issued a formal legal opinion about two months ago, saying exactly the same thing, that the governor's have this authority as the commander-in-chief of their state.
	He was speaking, of course, of Arizona.
	The same applies to Texas.
	And until, and the point I made in that clip, until potential illegal aliens know and believe they're likely to be sent back across the border, they will keep coming.
	They will keep coming.
	They're happy to take the bus rides to Washington.
	They're happy to spend 30 days in a Texas jail, believe it or not, on the criminal trespass charges that are part of Operation Lone Star.
	That's just a speed bump on the way to their destination.
	They got a roof over their head, three square meals.
	For 30 days and then they move on because when they're released from that Texas prison, they're released into the United States, not into Mexico.
	Now let me just play devil's advocate for a second because I think this is the argument that the open borders leftists are going to say.
	Well, yeah, the Constitution says that, Ken Cuccinelli, but repelling invasion refers to nations invading us or the forces of a nation-state doing that.
	These are just individuals.
	That doesn't constitute an invasion.
	How do you respond to that potential criticism?
	So I think you're right that that is a potential criticism.
	And look, the formal power in the Constitution is a war power.
	And yes, it's what I call a low-violence invasion, as such things go.
	But after 9-11, if you read the Declaration of War, called an authorization for the use of military force, as you know very well, but constitutionally, exactly the same thing.
	So Declaration of War by Congress, Who did they declare war on?
	They declared war on associations, organizations, or individuals.
	Individuals!
	Persons!
	Who may have helped or harbored folks involved in 9-11.
	And Harbor is not even participating, right?
	So – and they didn't even know the individuals they were declaring war on.
	So Congress has declared war on individuals, unknown individuals.
	That same war power is out of the same Constitution.
	It's in fact in the exact same article, Article 1 of the Constitution.
	I appreciate you playing devil's advocate.
	I think you're right.
	That will be a criticism.
	But it is actually one of the more easily dealt with of them all.
	I think what this boils down to is at what point is what's coming across the state's border an invasion.
	And I'll be very clear because it's one way to take the politics out of it.
	We were being invaded when President Trump was president.
	The difference was For constitutional purposes.
	The difference was the federal government was actually attempting to stop it, unlike the current federal government, which is inviting it in violation of the Guarantee Clause, which is Article 4, Section 4.
	The states, the border states have this power if they're willing to use it.
	It's a question of political will.
	I'm going to ask you next why they're not, and then we're going to switch topics to your mission right now, which is to stop Voter election fraud.

	Ken, there are those, I mentioned this in the last hour with one of our other guests, who have the letter R behind their name, who say, when it comes to the midterms in 2024, you've got to look forward.
	Stop talking about the past.
	It is unprofitable.
	It is actually counterproductive to talk about the 2020 election.
	Your reaction, Ken?
	Well, I would, I would say you always learn from the past and you fix the problems.
	I mean, that's what we're focusing on.
	The election transparency initiative is, um, and that's that when you see states reforming things, for instance, we're around 15 states now that have banned or restricted Zucker bucks, which were so critical in a negative way in the last election, where they literally had people putting the thumb on the scale.
	of government, and including now in my home state, Virginia, it passed on a bipartisan basis as it did in Kentucky.
	So this isn't just Republicans who see the common sense in a lot of these reforms.
	And photo ID has, including for mail-in ballots, has been very resilient to the radical left attacks for over a year now.
	It's still around 80% popular.
	So I don't need to tell you that cuts across every demographic of America to be that popular.
	And it's just basic common sense.
	When you get a bunch of Americans, if you grabbed a hundred random Americans and put them in a room, they'd overwhelmingly agree.
	On what it takes to run a good, clean, honest election.
	It's only when the R's and the B's get on it that people start to break down by tribe, politically speaking, of course.
	But, you know, as long as we've stuck with common sense and learning from the mistakes of the past, including 2020, we've made real progress out in the States.
	Let me ask you a pragmatic question, talking to Ken Cuccinelli.
	By certain measures, The private funds from Zuckerberg and others actually exceeded the state funds that were used to run the election.
	So more private money was sloshing around for drop boxes, for private organizations to get engaged, and actually the federal state government paid to run those elections.
	That desire to pervert the elections and that money is still out there.
	Isn't this like trying to grasp a cloud?
	Isn't this like squeezing a balloon?
	You squeeze it and it just goes out somewhere else.
	Do you have confidence that there are mechanisms that we can put in place now to guarantee as much of a secure election to make sure that the people who receive the most votes are actually the winners?
	Yeah, we've already made substantial improvements, especially in some key states like Arizona and Georgia and Florida.
	And I could go around the horn, Iowa, keep going.
	But honestly, my disappointment comes in states like Ohio and Idaho and Utah.
	I mean, really red states that have just sat on their hands.
	And it's being fought out in other states like Pennsylvania and Wisconsin and Michigan where you have Republican legislatures that have passed good reforms with Democrat governors who have Rejected them by veto and in several of those states, certainly Michigan and you may see it in Pennsylvania as well.
	You may see the governor's bypassed and the legislature's put things straight on the ballot and we'll let voters decide.
	And as I mentioned earlier, things like photo ID are wildly popular.
	So and the opposite is also true.
	So New York in 2021 had three constitutional amendments on their state ballot.
	All right.
	radically open up, meaning reduce security and confidence in their elections.
	And as blue as New York is, they rejected all three of them.
	All right.

	This is Charles Payne, Fox Business Network, who is very angry that Biden wants to buy votes by writing off the student loans that you will have to pay for.

	Let's go through this in three ways.
	First and foremost, why would anybody in this country want to forgive student loan debt?
	71% of folks with professional degrees have student loan debt.
	You know how much they make over a lifetime in earnings?
	$3.6 million.
	Doctoral, $3.3 million.
	Master's degrees, $2.7 million.
	If you have less than a high school degree, you make about $900,000 a year throughout your lifetime, if you're lucky.
	Why the hell would someone who got dropped out of high school, only has a high school degree, pay the loan of someone who's going to make $3.6 million in their lifetime?
	So right then and there, it's nonsensical, it's unfair, and it's stupid.
	Alright, point number two.
	Who owns this debt?
	59% Asian students, 67% Hispanic, 70% white.
	Where is the racial justice?
	Where is the racial justice that she is talking about?
	Let's go to her district.
	I checked out her district last night.
	4.8% black people in her district.
	Who is she really helping in her district?
	That's correct.
	73% white, over 60% graduation rate, more than double the national average.
	It is a gift to her white donors.
	One more thing, let's go this.
	Who are her donors?
	Try Microsoft, number one donor.
	You know how many black people work for Microsoft?
	You can go down to the next train station and find more.
	3% are managers.
	It's one of the largest corporations in the world.
	Now, here's the problem.
	They keep saying, well, black people have more of a percentage.
	You know, it's harder to pay it back.
	That's not the college loan.
	That's society.
	That's Microsoft.
	That's progressive corporations who will write a check to a bogus organization and buy a $6 million house instead of really hiring people, training people.
	They're the ones who don't believe in black people.
	Microsoft, the people that progressives are protecting, the whole thing is a sham.
	I don't think I've ever seen Charles that angry.
	I'm going to have to text him after the show because that was quite a tour de force.
	That's Pramila Jayapal pushing for the student loans to be exonerated, which is really weird because she's saying it's for social justice purposes.
	But who is going to pay for it?
	It's going to be those people who are mostly black, who didn't finish high school, who are minority.
	Paying off what?
	The college degrees, the advanced degrees of people earning much more than them, who are mostly white.
	Those figures again.
	If you've got a college degree, you're going to earn 3.6 million dollars in your career.
	And somebody who never went to college will earn $900,000 in their lifetime.
	So the people who make less money will be paying for the degrees of the white voters who are keeping Jay Appel in office.
	He uses the phrase, I think, in the interview earlier, pimping out the black American community to pay for the degrees of the white.

	I don't know about that.
	We've been working in the salt mines for three years now, so this is our reward, I guess.
	So, you, on the other hand, have been working like a single-handed news agency when it comes to January the 6th.
	We'll put up on the screen right now the two books that you've already written, Disloyal Opposition on the Never Trump Movement, and then now, most recently, January 6th.
	Let's show that book, Eric.
	How Democrats Use the Capitol Protest to Launch a War on Terror Against the Political Right.
	For those people who outrageously missed our discussion on Newsmax just yesterday, let me start with the question I asked you there.
	With the collapse of the Whitmer quote-unquote Fed mapping trial, which you introduced me to that phrase, and with an acquittal of Matthew Martin, from the January 6th quote-unquote insurrection or fedsurrection.
	I don't want to count our chickens before they're hatched, but are we potentially seeing a chink in the armor of the political exploitation and weaponization of the federal law enforcement and Department of Justice, Julie?
	Well, let's hope so.
	I mean, the verdicts in the Whitmer Fednapping trial were stunning.
	I mean, you really can't overstate what a huge defeat this was for the Justice Department and certainly for the FBI.
	You had a three-week trial.
	Most of the witnesses for the government were FBI agents, undercover agents, experts, the lead informant.
	And this whole case was built around the idea that these men got together, plotted to kidnap and kill Gretchen Whitmer in the fall of 2020.
	But what the defense put together over a series of months in numerous court motions was a very compelling and ultimately convincing case of FBI entrapment.
	That was their argument.
	That was their defense.
	It solely rested on the fact that the FBI attempted to induce these men, who otherwise would not have tried to commit any of these crimes, induce them into this plot.
	That is what the jury concluded.
	They acquitted two men outright.
	And the other two men, including the alleged ringleader, the jury could not come to any conclusion.
	It was a hung jury.
	The judge declared a mistrial.
	And the Justice Department, learning nothing, apparently is planning to retry Adam Fox and Barry Croft Jr., the remaining two defendants.
	Well, this is the next question I wanted to ask you.
	The fact that the whole thing collapsed, it's a joke, it's clearly entrapment, the jury said, this is garbage, get out of here.
	The fact that after that, last week, almost instantly, Biden's Department of Justice, A.G.
	Garland, said, oh, that doesn't matter, we're gonna retry two of them.
	It means that they're not giving up, and they clearly haven't learned their lesson, have they?
	They have not, and I'll tell you, It's going to be an uphill battle the next trial because what they've charged these men with is conspiracy to kidnap.
	So now you have to prove that these two men who live in different states, Barry Croft lives in Delaware, Adam Fox, the ringleader, lives in the dilapidated cellar of a vacuum repair shop in a Grand Rapids strip mall.
	Well, now they're both in jail, of course, awaiting trial.
	So they're going to have to prove that these two men got together with the other two defendants who pleaded guilty.
	None of them knew each other, Seb, before the FBI got involved.
	The FBI was solely responsible for stitching these random men together and putting them as a group of would-be kidnappers.
	So the government has an uphill battle, as it is, just in putting those, now these remaining defendants together, but also the judge who did a very good job in the trial, I have to say, Judge Robert Yonker.
	Nonetheless, he gave the government basically everything that it wanted.
	Hundreds of communications between FBI handlers and their informants were kept from the jury.
	Witnesses, such as one of the other lead informants, was not allowed to testify at trial.
	He was threatened by the DOJ.
	They were gonna charge him with more crimes.
	He said he was gonna plead the fifth.
	So Judge Yonker said he did not have to testify And so will the next judge, and I'm not sure if it will be Judge Yonker again, will the next judge give federal prosecutors all the gifts and all the leeway that they got in the last trial?
	Probably not.
	So it could potentially be even worse for DOJ if they try to try these men again.
	Let's hope.
	But in the meantime, these two innocent men, because of course they have not been proven guilty, have been in jail for 18 months and probably will be there for at least another four or five months before a new trial is scheduled.
	Now, on the face of it, if we just take all politics out of it for a moment, if you look at the facts on paper or the allegations, Julie, we're talking about a putative attempt to kidnap we're talking about a putative attempt to kidnap and maybe kill an incumbent governor of the United States.
	Now, you'd think that the mainstream media would flood the courtroom, that there'd be coverage every single day of this case, because I can't remember the last time anybody tried to kidnap an incumbent governor of any state of the union.
	But it seems as if You're alone in all of this.
	So give us a little bit of the color, if you will, of who we're talking about.
	The jury has dismissed it.
	Entrapment.
	Get out of here, DOJ.
	But you mentioned one of the accused living in the basement of a strip mall.
	Who are these people?
	Are these just patriotic losers that the FBI glommed onto?
	Give us a little bit of a color of all the things that you've published at American Greatness.
	So they definitely are, for the most part, some misfits in society.
	Adam Fox really had no friends.
	He was intermittently employed.
	And so that's how they kind of lured him into this trap.
	But keep in mind the timeframe.
	So this was 2020.
	I think that they targeted these men based on either posts from about lockdown rallies or involvement in various lockdown rallies, especially in Michigan.
	Which of course, as you recall, had some of the most well-attended protests in Lansing in the spring of 2020.
	So they not only leveraged anger about lockdown policies, but then in the summer of 2020, of course, outrage about what was happening in the George Floyd BLM riots.
	And these FBI agents and undercover informants would get these guys stoned, Adam Fox, for example, And get them all ginned up about the lockdowns and the riots.
	Record them secretly.
	The government then would take a tiny clip, say, of a six or seven hour meeting with all of these men, barbecues, et cetera, and take an 18 second clip and give it to the jury.
	But even with all of that, this jury still saw right through the government's plan, really just such a cold slap to this Justice Department, But it's also illuminating, Seb, as I write in my book.
	I wrote about the Whitmer case in my book because, of course, these are the same people responsible for DOJ, the FBI... Hang on, you mean the federal agents, the supervisors, are intertwined.
	Just expand on that a little bit.
	Well, exactly.
	So not only Christopher Wray, and this is what I wrote about in one of my recent pieces at amgreatness.com, FBI agents testified that this required approval, authorization at the highest level at FBI headquarters in Washington.
	It was not just a few rogue agents got together with some rogue informants and trapped these guys in Michigan.
	This was a multi-state operation involving numerous FBI field offices in the eastern half of the country.
	It required the use of drones and airplanes, believe it or not.
	to collect evidence against these men.
	This was a very costly, complicated operation.
	And so, definitely Christopher Wray knew about it.
	What did he know?
	What did he authorize?
	Who was he in communication with in these various state field offices, FBI field offices?
	But of course, as you know, Seb, what's really interesting is Stephen DiAntonio, who was the head of the Detroit FBI field office, This is the office primarily responsible for the two handling agents and the main informant, a man named Dan Chappell.
	Steve and Dan Tuono, after the arrests were announced October 8th, 2020, A week later, he's promoted to where?
	D.C.
	D.C.?
	FBI field office.
	He takes over the Washington field office.
	There are no coincidences.

	Julie, Let's move from the collapse of the Whitmer case.
	I'm sure you'll continue to report on what the DOJ wants to do at a second potential trial with two of the accused.
	Let's talk about January the 6th.
	How significant is the
	Decision during the bench trial, so not a jury trial, of a judge to dismiss the Matthew Martin case because, and I don't want to oversimplify, you know far better than I do, but an individual charged with trespassing and you have a member of the police, I do believe the Capitol Police, on the stand say, well, yes, we escorted the protesters in, we opened the doors and ushered them in,
	Which of course means you can't be a trespasser if you've been invited in, especially by the uniformed police.
	Is this a one-off?
	Is this a fringe event?
	Or could this affect other January 6 trials?
	Unfortunately, I do think that this verdict will be an outlier.
	This is Judge Trevor McFadden, a Trump appointee.
	I've been highly critical of him.
	He has deserved criticism because he has signed off on numerous Pre-trial detention orders, including for nonviolent offenders.
	But in this case, he got it right.
	He acquitted Matthew Martin on the four most commonly charged misdemeanors, including the petty offense class B misdemeanor of parading in the Capitol.
	So, but what, to your point, what was interesting about the trial is that a U.S.
	Capitol Police official for the first time took the stand under oath and said, yes, we allowed people into the building We were too overwhelmed.
	We let them in and we just sort of stood there to make sure that nobody got hurt or whatever his excuse was.
	But, of course, we've seen plenty of video to support this.
	We have eyewitness accounts.
	We have lots of extemporaneous videos that show police waving people in, letting them in, taking selfies, chit-chatting with them.
	But this is the first time it's been said under oath.
	And so that is the piece.
	Yes.
	that could be compelling in other trials.
	You already have one man who pulled his plea deal after the verdict in Matthew Martin.
	So it could have some downstream effect.
	Certainly it will still be very hard for January 6th defendants to go before a fair jury in the city of Washington, D.C. that voted almost 94 percent for Joe Biden.
	Right.
	This is the real question.
	Can anyone get a fair trial in D.C. if you're a conservative when 94 percent of the population voted for Hillary and for Biden?
	And they're going to be the jury pool.
	Let's drill down on one more technical issue that I think is so significant that was reported maybe a month ago around.
	Congress, around Capitol Hill.
	Numerous areas that are otherwise accessible to the public, on January the 6th, because the vice president was there, the vice president-elect was there, were deemed sensitive areas.
	So, you know, pieces of grass, pieces of otherwise public access territory were deemed sensitive, and as such, People were charged based upon that heightened level of security.
	Since then, there have been reports that no, when these individuals were there, the vice presidents or vice president elects were not in the building.
	Therefore, that technical charge of trespassing in a sensitive area during a special event is nugatory, is void.
	Could that be a significant thing in future cases, or do we know whether or not those individuals were actually in the Capitol?
	Well, what we have found out is that the Justice Department has lied repeatedly in thousands of court filings and also before a grand jury that the property, that the complex, the grounds in the building, were restricted that the complex, the grounds in the building, were restricted because of the presence of two Secret Service protectees.
	Kamala Harris and Mike Pence.
	Well, lo and behold, turns out, the DOJ finally has to admit, after a Politico report exposed this, Kamala Harris was not in the building the afternoon of January 6th.
	More shockingly, Seb, was where she was, which was the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee, the same building where allegedly a pipe bomb had been planted the night before.
	We still don't have answers as to how the Secret Service missed this device that was sitting outside of this rather small building.
	How did they miss it during some sort of security sweep before, not just a sitting U.S.
	Senator, but the incoming vice president Went into the headquarters.
	And why did Kamala Harris go there?
	Kind of a strange... Why did she leave the Capitol?
	She had been there the morning of, she said, for an intelligence briefing.
	Then she left as a U.S.
	senator.
	She's not even watching the presidings over her historic alleged election.
	She instead goes to the DNC headquarters.
	None of it made sense.
	So they had to basically come out and admit that they were untruthful in these filings.
	But then it was revealed that even though prosecutors had said, again, thousands of filings, that Mike Pence was in the Capitol building, he also was not in the building.
	And his whereabouts are still sort of fuzzy.
	It seems like he went to some underground parking garage, but then left and went to some sort of dock near the building, but way underground, near the Capitol grounds.
	We still don't know exactly his whereabouts.
	But the whole idea that the building was off limits because these two people were in the building, not in a parking garage, certainly not two or three blocks away at DNC headquarters.
	So some lawyers have been picking up on this.
	But I gotta tell you, Seb, very little matters because these DC District Court judges are as bad as the prosecutors in the news media.
	They are so harsh on these defendants.
	They're letting DOJ get away with everything, including numerous delays extensive delays on trials and also even discovery evidence.
	So it's really a sadly rigged system where the truth does not matter.
	Yeah, well, that's the most important thing we can fight for here in America.
	After the last two years of COVID, the post-2020 election, our recommitment to the truth is more important than ever.

	Julie, you've mentioned the other individuals who've been arrested as a result of the January 6th investigation that went after, what, 700-800 Americans.
	For those who haven't followed closely, can you just give us a flavor, a snapshot, of what these people have been put through.
	Some of them grandmothers, some of them with cancer.
	What conditions have they been kept under and how long have they been kept waiting for just an arraignment in front of a judge?
	So there are about 800 people now facing criminal charges related to the four-hour disturbance on January 6th.
	The overwhelming number of charges though, Seb, are these four misdemeanors that I've talked about.
	That also comprises most of the overwhelming majority of plea deals as well.
	And even though people are pleading guilty to parading in the Capitol, something that most Americans probably think is a constitutional right, but somehow was a crime on January 6th, even though they're pleading guilty, DOJ is recommending prison time for these people.
	In some cases, the max, which would be six months in jail.
	And judges of all stripes, Reagan appointees, Trump appointees, Obama, Clinton, et cetera, are going along with DOJ and sentencing these people on a petty offense to spend anywhere from 30 to, in some cases, 90 days in prison.
	So, of course, this has never happened before.
	Let's say this never happened to any of the thousands of protesters in the fall of 2018 who tried to shut down The U.S.
	Senate a few times in the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation protest.
	Certainly did not happen to any of the protesters of the 2017 inauguration.
	We have a whole different set of laws and punishment for January 6th.
	So we've got 800 defendants.
	DOJ and FBI are arresting new people every single week, including this week.
	I think they're trying to get to 1,000 defendants as some sort of political talking point on the campaign trail for Democrats in the fall.
	You've got about, right now, probably close to 80 people who are being held under pretrial detention orders.
	Several of these men have been incarcerated for 14 months, never convicted of any crime.
	DOJ continues to delay their trials.
	For example, there are three people in the D.C.
	Gulag who have been there since February of 2021.
	Their trial originally was scheduled for this month, April.
	Judge Maida, an Obama appointee who is auditioning for a promotion, clearly from the D.C.
	District Court, just moved their trial to November of this year and suggested that because of the massive Oath Keepers case, there's at least 20 defendants in this case, that trial could be moved to the beginning of 2023.
	That means that these people will be in jail.
	No criminal record.
	Some of them are veterans, will be in jail for two years before they even have a chance to go to trial, simply because these judges are denying bail based on the fact they're alleged insurrectionists who tried to overthrow democracy.
	Therefore, they're a threat to their community, and they need to be in prison languishing for, in many instances, Solitary confinement conditions for months on end.
	Well, let's be more explicit about this.
	The real reason is the judge is a Democrat and the defendant is a conservative who was pro-President Trump.

	One thing I haven't asked you, Julie, and we're talking to the author, of January 6th.

	What you've documented is clearly political bias, political persecution by the Department of Justice, by the FBI, by the DOJ.
	But we're also hearing horror stories about what the public defenders are making those charged do.
	For example, giving them mandatory reading lists such as white fragility, things to do with critical race theory, and then telling their clients that once they're there in the dock in front of the judge, that they have to make Maoist-like, self-recriminating that they have to make Maoist-like, self-recriminating statements about, "I was wrong, Joe Biden is the real president." Are these reports, are these true?
	Can you confirm them?
	I absolutely can.
	In fact, the man who did that, his name was Paul Hodgkins.
	Really, a sad case.
	You know, Seb, I listen to a lot of these court hearings and read a lot of the filings.
	I talk to the detainees, defendants.
	I talk to their family members.
	But a couple times I've really been emotional, and this was one of the times when I listened to Paul Hodgkins, a man who took a bus from Tampa, Florida, to Washington, D.C., by himself, so he could hear President Trump speak.
	He went into the Capitol building.
	He did not think he was committing any crime.
	He was called a domestic terrorist by this Justice Department, which is why they're adding sentencing enhancements, comparing these people to domestic terrorists.
	He begged for mercy.
	He is a working class man.
	He was about to get an apprenticeship as a mechanic.
	He told the judge, he begged the judge, please, you know, have leniency for my prison term.
	If I am sentenced and I'm a felon, convicted felon, I will lose my apprenticeship.
	I will lose the home I'm renting.
	I will lose my pets.
	This judge had no mercy.
	And, but Paul Hodgkin stood before the judge and said, I now accept that Joe Biden is the lawfully elected president of the United States.
	Saying that, thinking that this judge would have mercy on him, which he didn't.
	He was sentenced to eight months in prison.
	He actually just finally got out.
	But it really was very emotional to hear this man explain how his life had been destroyed, how it would be continued to be destroyed.
	Asking this judge for mercy after he pleaded guilty to obstruction of an official proceeding, a ridiculous felony.
	And nonetheless, there's no sympathy.
	There's no empathy for these people.
	There's nothing but contempt in Washington, D.C.
	for Trump voters and Trump supporters.
	And this is how it's playing out in D.C.' 's legal system.
	Let's talk about the conservative response.
	You're out there, you're delivering the truth every day.
	Talk to us about Republicans, how they've responded to this.

	With everything else being called a domestic terrorist, a traitor, an insurrectionist by everyone from Joe Biden down to local news reporters.
	So this is where people can go to really help.
	The response by the Republican Party, I'm sure you can imagine, has been near silence with the exception of people like Marjorie Taylor Greene, Louie Gohmert, Matt Gaetz, Paul Gosar, and a few others.
	But otherwise, Republicans are not touching this.
	This includes, of course, Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy.
	They have not even said a word about a political prison now in the shadow of the U.S.
	Capitol building, blocks from where they work.
	They can't even go over there with Louie Gohmert and Marjorie Taylor Greene and demand to see the conditions that these men are living in.
	And denounce this Justice Department for holding political prisoners.
	It's really shameful.
	Just one more example of how craven and complicit the Republican Party in Washington is with this regime.

	I know you're a fighter, I've known you for years, but given that you're, you know, standing there like King Canute trying to hold back the ocean, what has it been like for you to cover these stories as you hear these tragic, tragic narratives?
