Sebastian Gorka FULL SHOW: Elon Musk buys largest share of Twitter
| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
Always worried about Mondays.
So Slow news day.
When I pick up Mona's newspaper every morning as I walk the dog.
That's my elderly neighbor who I worry about.
And I don't want her walking outside to pick up her Washington Post when I pick it up for her and take it to her doorstep.
It's always, it's like a leaflet on Monday.
I guess the Washington Post doesn't work at the weekend and they think that news doesn't happen.
But my oh my, is it a heavy news day today.
God bless every single one of you.
Greetings, I'm Sebastian Gawker, former strategist of President Trump, member currently of the National Security Education Board, and your host for the next two hours.
We will be joined by superlative guests like John Solomon, Monica Crowley, Emma Jo Morris, the woman who broke The Laptop from Hell story for the New York Post, and then a special one-on-one on the CIA operation right after September the 11th in Afghanistan.
We'll be talking to Toby Harnden, formerly of the Daily Telegraph and the Sunday Times.
But first, what do you need to know that happened over the weekend from Friday to today?
Well, we have Elon Musk becoming, I think, the largest shareholder Of Twitter stock, 9.2%.
I know, four weeks ago I told him to buy Twitter.
I think a lot of other people did too.
Maybe this is the man who can take a controlling share of that cesspit and actually turn it into a social media platform and maybe Even bring my old boss, President Trump, back.
He's got his own thing now.
Truth social.
But you never know.
Maybe Elon could bring him back.
We have, of course, President Zelensky addressing the Grammys with a pre-recorded message.
We'll be sharing that with you.
We have a shocking statistic.
101 officers shot this year alone.
Record-breaking figures.
We have an arrest.
It just broke as we were preparing to go live.
One arrest has been made in the Sacramento shooting this weekend that killed six Americans and wounded so many more.
We will be giving you clips, updates from what President Trump did at the weekend in Michigan and then Biden's back in... No.
Obama's back in Biden's White House.
He hasn't been there!
For a long, long time.
But now he's going back.
We'll tell you why.
And then, Sarah Palin, being Governor of Alaska, wasn't enough.
Looks like she's running for the House.
For Alaska's seat in the House of Representatives.
Is that a step down for her?
Well, we'll discuss all that and so much more.
Our phone number, 833-33-GORKA.
83333 Gawker.
That's 833 334 6752.
Let's talk about the big news.
The bad news.
This is from the Daily Mail.
Right now the White House is holding a press conference on this issue.
And that is the mass murders in Ukraine.
In the suburb of Bukha.
A mass grave containing the bodies of at least 20 civilians, including a mayor and her family, has been uncovered near the Ukrainian capital of Kiev.
The pit was uncovered in woodland near the town of Motsizin.
Around 20 miles west of the city of Buka, where another mass grave was found, which contains the bodies of local mayor Olga Sokchenko, who is buried along with her husband and son.
This is according to Ukraine's former ambassador to Austria, Oleksandr Scherba.
Miss Salenko's body had been rolled into the hastily dug pit alongside at least 19 others, including families, some of whose bodies showed the signs of torture.
Shukchenko was found with her fingers and arms broken, according to the mayor of the nearby town of Kopyliv, where a resident of Motezin said Russian soldiers killed any Ukrainian officials who refused to collaborate.
The mayor and her family had been reported by others as kidnapped by the Russians on March 23rd.
This is the second mass grave to be uncovered behind the backs of retreating Russian troops after a 45-foot pit containing the bodies of at least 57 civilians was also uncovered in Bukha, a city on the outskirts of Kiev where hundreds of civilians have been found dead.
Now maybe you had a busy weekend.
Maybe it's not what you do at the weekend, and I don't blame you.
But the footage is out there.
Not just of the mass graves, but of the areas around Kiev that were liberated by the Ukrainians.
As they were liberated, body after body was found.
Not of Ukrainian soldiers, not of members of some local militia or volunteers, but photographs and video footage of civilians of every age, of both genders, shot with their hands tied behind their backs.
I'm disgusted.
I'm horrified.
By people who I follow on Twitter, who up to now seemed normal, seemed sane.
People who say they're conservatives, and their first reaction is what?
It's all a lie.
The Ukrainians did it.
One person, Ian, you know who you are, along with others, have said things like, well, you know, the Azov battalion was there a week ago.
Yeah, in Russian held territory.
A Ukrainian battalion was there in Russian-held territory.
Now, I don't care what your politics are. .
But to say Ukrainians bound and shot fellow Ukrainians, despite knowing the history of how Russians go to war, there is no excuse for that.
You have not one scintilla of evidence.
But what do we have in terms of evidence on the other side?
How about 1956?
In Hungary.
The land of my parents.
How about Czechoslovakia in 1968?
How about Chechnya in 1999?
How about South Ossetia?
How about Georgia?
How about Crimea?
How many Russian atrocities?
How about Khakhin in 1941?
Where 20,000 Poles were killed by the Soviets.
Taken into a forest and shot because they were Polish.
And dumped into a mass grave.
How stupid or how vile are you?
We have more than a century's worth of evidence of Russians committing genocide against civilians.
Oh, but in this case, no, the Russians didn't do it.
The Ukrainians did it to themselves.
Wake up or shut your mouth.
Because you are helping the killers.
I'm Sebastian Gawker.

The Salem Radio Broadcast
People are saying, oh, it's all propaganda.
It's all propaganda.
Yeah, I've been seeing that too.
People love to... Why are people on the side of Russia?
I don't understand why.
Why?
Because he hates gays?
I mean, are you so stupid?
Hitler didn't have a big thing for gays either, so you like Hitler now?
He like dogs, and he- Yeah, he like- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and he- He like dogs, and Who is it?
What's his name?
It's a long... I don't even know how to pronounce this name.
Batnf19Nuchatl.
I'm not even sure if that's supposed to be like a... What's that cretin saying?
Let's see.
He's saying, Zelensky and Putin are both war criminals.
Let's not talk about the killing of over 20 people in Donetsk.
Donetsk is held by the separatists, so who dropped the cluster bomb?
Oh, jeez.
You know, this is something else that occurred to me, too.
People, this take, like, oh, they're both bad.
Both sides are bad.
Those are just contrarians.
Those are professional contrarians.
I know a lot of people who are like this.
A lot of younger people are like that.
Yeah.
They think they're being edgy, like, oh, both.
I know this one girl.
Edgy?
You're being an idiot.
It's the, it's the refuse to take a stance crowd.
Right.
Who's the same who says, well, both parties are corrupt in the United States.
But what's the, what's your moral content then?
There is no moral content.
If you're not willing to make a stance and actually give a statement besides some pointless, oh, everyone does bad things, then yeah, you have no spine.
I'm being agreeable by bashing both sides.
It's like the libertarian mindset.
You said you know somebody, Eric?
Uh, yeah, a girl who used to be, like, a hardcore Trump supporter through, like, his entire first year in office.
And then, er, first term.
And then she left the Trump cult.
She's now constantly saying, I left the Trump cult, I left the Trump cult, both parties are cults, both parties are cults.
And on her, I've seen her on social media, she will literally post back-to-back one thing about, oh, support Ukrainian refugees, what's happening in Ukraine right now is terrible, and then right after that she'll post, oh, here's propaganda the Ukrainian government is putting out.
Like, she, back-to-back, I'm like, this, people like that, who, Just wanna be edgy, because I think it's funny.
All right, uh, Miss Crowley, can you hear us?
How quickly can you turn an Instagram post into a clip?
Just so you know, our mics are live on the video live streams.
Try what I just sent you and just text me.
I can find it somewhere else, usually.
All right, and try and just tell me when it's ready.
All right, we have 70 seconds to air.
Hey, Monica!
Hey, Sebastian, how are ya?
Hold on, is this the one we played on Newsmax?
No, it's a new, uh, is it?
Is it, um... No, it looks new.
No, this is new, this is new, this is new.
So the podcast launched last week, right?
Yes, it did.
Okay.
And that's the Monica Crowley Show, correct?
Yes, it's not a very creative title, but it's direct and to the point.
Okay, good.
40 seconds, standby.
Let's have a look.
There's a good cut I can use.
We have the Robinson cut now.
Yeah, I'll save that for later.
We've got the IFCJ here.
We've got no shortage of cuts here.
Well, I'll probably use 14, but I'll tee it up.
Okie dokes.
Oh, how's the audio for ISCA?
You said you didn't want to use it.
So I can load it up, but I can't probably.
I'll listen to it later.
Yeah.
All right.
Okay.
Stand by.
Stand by.
Portions of America First are brought to you in part by Stand With Israel Tour. - Sure.
The lives of Ukrainians are being brutalized.
Homes and businesses devastated.
Rocket fire, missile attack, and now mass graves.
Some of them have managed to escape, but it's a tiny, tiny minority.
Right now the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews is flying in from Israel with plane loads of emergency supplies.
Food, clothing, clean water, as well as medical supplies.
But once they unload those airplanes, on the return trip they fill them with Jewish refugees to fly them back to their biblical homeland of Israel.
Please, if you are as shocked as I am by the images you are seeing, the Ukrainians are going to fight for themselves, but we need to help the refugees.
Right now, if you go to my website, at the very top there is a tab that says Crisis in Ukraine.
With a gift of just $45, you will help the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews fund one life-saving round-trip of emergency aid and refugees returning to their ancestral home.
Right now the fellowship will also match your donations 100%.
So donate $45 and that instantly becomes $95.
Let's hope today, let's set a high target, let's get 500 listeners to step up to the plate.
Please go to my website sebgawker.com That's S-E-B-G-O-R-K-A, and at the very top, it's the white dove of peace, click, crisis in Ukraine.
That's SebGorker.com and the crisis in Ukraine.
Right now, we have the White House holding a press conference.
That's pointless.
There's nobody with any strategic knowledge at the podium or in that building.
Let's talk to somebody who is an expert who served in the last administration and we are delighted to announce has just launched her new podcast.
She's Monica Crowley, former spokesperson for the Department of the Treasury.
What's the name of your new podcast, Monica?
Well, hi, Seb.
Great to be with you.
And the name for the new podcast is, you ready for this?
Hang on, hang on, hang on, everybody.
Get ready.
Do it!
The Monica Crowley podcast.
Yes, we like it.
I know it's not particularly creative but it's direct and to the point which is exactly what we need given all of the existential threats coming at us.
It's catchy, it's catchy.
Subscribe today and follow her at Monica Crowley.
You are an expert on matters macroeconomic.
I have to ask you to respond to We've got the answer from the man who likes trains and bicycles, even though he rides around in a big black F-CVs.
He's Mayor Pete Boot-Edge-Edge, talking about the future of prices and inflation in America.
Cut 14!
So, less dependent on foreign oil, and that protects us from shortages at fuel stations.
But here's the thing to remember.
Even if all of the oil we use in the USA were made in the USA, The price of it is still subject to powers and dynamics outside of the USA, which means that until we achieve a form of energy independence that is based on clean energy created here at home, American citizens will still be vulnerable to wild price hikes like we're seeing right now.
There were no wild price hikes while our boss was in the White House, so is this person just stupid or an ideologue, Monica Crowley?
Well, look, all of the damage that the Biden administration is inflicting is 100% intentional.
It's all by design.
So what they're telling you there, what Buttigieg is telling you, is a complete lie.
It's spin just to support their own And remember, this is a really big point to remember, Seb, that whenever you hear Biden or Buttigieg or anybody else on the left talking about climate change and the environment and the need for clean energy, they're only partly interested in climate and the environment.
The real motivation behind what they're doing in terms of killing American domestic production is To basically to use the energy sector as the biggest lever to re-engineer the US economy.
That's what all of this is about.
So this is why they're constantly harping on fossil fuels and crushing American energy, because they know that energy is the biggest sector that they can use to achieve that great reset, to achieve the remaking of the US economy.
That's why they're going after it.
And while they're crushing other parts of the economy, like small businesses and the rest, Energy is the biggest of them all.
So keep that in mind as you listen to Biden and everybody else on his team talking about the need for clean fuel.
We'd all like that.
But they have moved us away from energy independence to energy dependence on the world's worst bad guys.
Stop trying to make logical sense out of it.
It doesn't.
It is all part of the bigger ideological agenda.
Well, I don't know if she helped write the boss's speech in Michigan at the weekend, but you sound a lot like President Trump.
Let's listen to what he says about the ideological threat.
That's cut 4, play cut.
Biden and the Radical Democrats are spending billions and billions of dollars trying to secure the borders of distant foreign countries, many of which you've never even heard of.
But I believe Americans deserve a president who will secure our borders, the borders of our nation, who will protect our citizens, who will defend our sovereignty, and who will stop The biggest invasion ever of our country and probably of any country.
There's never been anything like it.
We're being invaded.
And that's the word.
We're being invaded by millions and millions of people.
Many of them are criminals who should not be allowed into our country.
We're going to be paying a price and a very big one long into the future.
You'll wait and see.
Unfortunately, I'll be right about that one, too.
So the biggest threat are the Democrats and what they're doing to the sovereignty of this nation.
I presume you would concur, Monica.
I do.
And how refreshing to hear the America First message from Donald Trump once again.
You know, honestly, Seb, I think that the left secretly wants Donald Trump to be the nominee and the president again, because everything they are doing is helping make his message for him.
In fact, if he decides to run, all Trump is going to have to do is stand there.
He's just going to have to be and point to Biden or maybe wear a T-shirt that says, I'm not what's stupid.
Because every single catastrophic decision that the Biden administration has made is giving President Trump more reason, more justification, more arguments for why we should put America first.
Instead, right now we've got America last.
And I've got to tell you, and you know this area of the world very well, Hungary, over the weekend, re-elected Viktor Orban as prime minister, gave him a parliamentary supermajority.
And why?
Because he took a page out of Donald Trump's playbook, went with Hungary first, ran against the left, ran against the leftist media, ran directly against George Soros, ran against Brussels and the EU transnational agenda, ran against direct intervention ran against Brussels and the EU transnational agenda, ran against direct intervention or participation in the
All of the things that went Hungary first, that Donald Trump is talking about with regard to America first, Orban won re-election by a landslide.
There's a big lesson here in terms of Trump and Republicans, populist, We'll be back with Monica in a moment.
We are all parched for our national sovereignty.
It's an international wave.
We'll be back with Monica in a moment.
This is America First.
Okay, mic's on.
So how often are you doing the podcast?
Three days a week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
And it's going great so far.
And I really appreciate you having me on to talk about it.
So thank you.
Are you gonna work on a new book next?
I know you every time I'm on you encourage me to do that.
I'm actually I'm thinking I may have a good idea here.
I mean, good idea.
So it's, um, Got a hint?
I'm turning it over in my head.
I heard Matt Walsh has just published a book on what is a woman and I thought that should probably be written by a woman.
No, he's been great on that question and he's been on the leading edge of the whole conversation about gender and the Marxist attack on On gender and nature and children.
So good for him.
No, it's about it's an idea about leadership.
And I haven't fully formed it yet.
But I'm thinking seriously about it.
That sounds interesting.
The Nixon Trump nexus in terms of leadership style.
Well, I am the only one who could write that.
Yeah, I know.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But yes, it's related to that.
It's related to that, and it's related to President Trump in particular and the new right.
You and I are part of the new right.
We were part of the old right, but now there's a new right.
That would be an exciting book, a book on the new right.
Put up the Nixon book again, Eric.
Nixon, off the record.
Off the record.
All right, I'm going to mention both of those.
Yeah, the second volume of that is Nixon in winter.
Oh, Nixon in winter.
Okay.
And then I'm gonna we're going to talk about your piece.
Oh my gosh, Newsweek.
Why did you have to write in that scumbag rag?
Seriously?
Now I don't want to talk about it.
Josh Hammer is now... But Josh, I don't care about Josh Hammer.
He's like one guy amongst 300 scumbags.
I mean, seriously.
I mean, this is what I tell the conservatives.
You are supporting a scumbag magazine.
I don't care if there's one guy there who's like the, ooh, look, we've got one conservative.
It's like, I don't care.
You're scumbags.
You're writing trash pieces, trashing manga, and then people get to, you know, wash off their disgust of Newsweek by saying, oh, look, look, there's a conservative wrote an op-ed piece.
Gotta stop.
Gotta stop.
I am driving a stake in the ground in the left-wing universe.
No, they're making use of you.
That's what I told my friends who are writing there.
They're making use of you, saying, oh look, we have conservatives here.
Our front covers trash them, but look, Monica wrote a piece yesterday.
It's just, guys, don't support them.
There are enough really good conservative outlets out there.
We don't have to help the guys who hate us.
It's like the guys in the administration when I was there who loved to talk to the Washington Post.
It's like, really?
They hate you and your boss.
What are you doing?
Are you on crack?
God, wake up.
All right, 40 seconds.
Stand by. Standing by. 30 seconds.
All right, yep.
What have we got here?
We've got Israel here, and we've got relief here.
And I get to play the new liner.
Fun, fun, fun.
Did you play four or five there?
Four.
It sounded like five.
It was about invading at the border.
Five seconds standby.
We've got to check those.
Transcription by CastingWords He's doing it again.
Two doozies from Biden back to back.
First things first, he's lying again about driving an 18-wheeler.
I guess, you know, in a past life or in a fantasy life.
Cut 11.
The workforce is getting older.
Not that I am, but they are.
I used to drive a truck.
It's a long story.
Anyway.
It's getting hard.
And I thought I was going to get to drive one of these suckers today.
Yeah, it's a very short story, actually, because you didn't and you're a liar.
Even better, even better, he talks about Michelle Obama and former vice president Scott Tan.
And I'm deeply proud of the work she's doing as first lady with Joining Forces Initiative.
She started with Michelle Obama when she was vice president and now carries on.
Who is vice president?
Who was that?
Biden's wife was vice president?
Or Michelle was vice president?
He clearly doesn't know.

We are back with Monica Crowley.
She is the former spokesperson for the Department of the Treasury in the Trump administration, author of fabulous books.
You've got to check them all out.
Nixon, off the record.
The follow-up, Nixon in Winter, and she's got a little bit of a penchant for salty language.
The title of her most recent book is What the Beep Just Happened, follow her at Monica Crowley.
Monica, you've written a piece recently for an organ whose name shall not be mentioned, it's the Voldemort Weekly, about red states versus blue states.
They're not dialing back, they're pushing the throttle on measures that are just deleterious to the economy.
If this goes on for three more years, we're going to have free states like Florida, we're going to have wealthy states like Texas, and then we're going to have, what, disastrous bifurcated economies in Democrat states, correct?
Yes, that's exactly right.
And in fact, I posted my op-ed where I published in an organ that shall not be named, Sam, but I posted it up on my Twitter at Monica Crowley and also on my Instagram at Monica Crowley underscore.
So please go check it out there.
Yes, what we're seeing is a division in the country, red states versus blue states economically.
And whatever economic recovery we have been enjoying so far, has come almost primarily from the red states.
They lead across the board in terms of jobs recovered.
Keep in mind that every time you hear the invalid in the White House or his nervous breakdown vice president talk about job creation, that is not true.
This is not job creation.
This is still a job recovery operation and it is being led directly by red states.
Why? - Hang on, hang on, let me, two things there.
Number one, I love this phrase, I'm going to steal it liberally, the invalid in the White House, that's perfect.
And then secondly, can we just hammer on this?
And all that I'm talking about is Newsweek, which is a just totally anti-MAGA gutter press rag, with one conservative called Josh Hammer, which doesn't change the fact that it is a scumbag publication.
But this concept that when you shut down the work for 44 million people, When you allow them to go back to work, that's not job creation, is it, Monica?
Right.
That is exactly right.
This is a job recovery operation.
And what we see in the blue states, which have high taxes, high and burdensome regulations, when you see all of the mandates that are still in place.
I mean, in New York City, children, toddlers are still being masked.
So there are vaccine mandates and mask mandates still going on in these blue states, in these blue precincts.
All of those policies joined together to have a huge drag on these state-by-state economies.
And then, of course, it's a big drag on the overall national economy.
Whereas red states with lower taxes, fewer regulations, wide open freedom, no mandates, you're seeing them prosper.
I'm sitting right now in the state of Florida.
It is a free state.
Economically, it is booming.
And the argument that I'm making is, you know, the American people have eyes, Seb.
They can see the difference economically between the red states and the blue states and come November and then come November 24, they're going to consistently choose the red state economic model far over.
The one thing that we may, may be able to guarantee to give us a little bit of a respite is if we trounce the Democrats in the midterms, then at least the GOP gets the purse springs back in the House.

Yeah, and Mike's back on. and Mike's back on.
Yeah, and definitely, some of the conservative, quote-unquote conservatives they have are total never-Trumpers.
Like... I mean, I don't know... I don't know the latest about Josh Hammer, but from what I've heard of him in the past, I don't like him or trust him at all.
Yeah, I think he's kind of borderline.
Um, uh, yeah.
You must have downloaded the same thing.
Four and five are different.
Yeah.
I re-downloaded it, so now Cut 4 is 55 seconds long.
Cut 5 is the 53 second one.
So basically you already played Cut 5.
So I played Cut 5, alright.
- Okay.
- Can you play for me, cut eight? - Eight, Zelensky.
The war.
What's more opposite to music?
The silence of ruined cities and killed people.
Our children draw swooping rockets, not shooting stars.
Over 400 children have been injured and 153 children died, and we'll never see them drawing.
Our parents are happy to wake up in the morning in bomb shelters, but alive.
Our loved ones don't know if we will be together again.
The world doesn't let us choose who survives and who stays in internal silence.
Our musicians wear body armor.
Instead of tuxedos, they sing to the wounded in hospitals.
Even to those who can't hear them.
But the music will break through anyway.
Alright, mic's back on and we have Mr. Solomon.
Hey guys!
Greetings!
How are you?
Good, good.
Just have to dig up what you texted me.
What did you text me?
Can't remember now.
I'll have a good exclusive tonight on Hunter Biden.
Oh, OK.
Can we talk about it?
Sure.
Yeah.
So the nut of it is, while the last Russian war on Ukraine was ongoing, the Crimean invasion, Hunter Biden and his business partners were pursuing a dual strategy to try to cash in on one oligarch on each side of the war, one Russian, one Ukrainian.
Wow.
And we're going to put all those documents out tomorrow.
Are they a foyer or are they things that you got from sources?
All different ones.
Some are from the laptop, some are from court records, some are from foyer.
We don't have gates when he dropped the The, um... Laptop?
Hard drive.
We don't have that cut, right?
Matcates?
Yeah.
Uh... That was a rather long one, right?
Yeah, don't worry about it.
Don't worry about it.
Okay.
I'll just mention it.
Okay.
Alright, 20 seconds.
Standing by.
We've got MyPillow and PatriotBubble here.
Okay.
Alright.

We're not going to let them do that to him.
They're fascists.
He's an American patriot.

We are back with none other than John Solomon.
He is the founder of justthenews.com.
He's got a daily TV show as well.
And every day you seem to be breaking stories.
We'll talk about the one that you're going to break in the next 12, 24 hours.
But let me just start with this, a little bit of a mea culpa.
I thought that was it.
The Hunter Biden story, just memory hold by the Orwellians, gone, disappeared, doesn't make a difference.
The last election was stolen.
But it seems to be coming back.
And I'm not just talking about that superlative moment where Matt Gaetz last week entered the whole hard drive onto the record as Jerry Nadler was the chairman of that session.
Interviewing the FBI Cyber Chief who couldn't tell us where the laptop is.
But even in the mainstream media, it doesn't seem to be going away.
Do you feel vindicated, John Solomon?
Yeah, listen, for me, the most important thing is that the American public get the truth and not have these mixed signals that have been going on for two and a half years.
You know, when I first started reporting this at The Hill in March of 2019, I was called a conspiracy nut.
And so was Peter Schweitz, who had written the book.
And we were told that this was Russian disinformation.
All of that Has gone into reverse.
And much like Russia collusion, people early on said, oh, you're nuts saying that Russia collusion was anything but a real investigation.
Well, it wasn't.
It was a political dirty trick turned into a criminal investigation.
So the thing I most worry about, listen, I don't worry about what people say about me.
I worry about what the American public gets to know as truth.
And I think now they're getting truth from both sides of the media, not just our side.
And I think that's very, very important.
There was an op-ed yesterday, an editorial, In the Washington Post that said that maybe there ought to be a reckoning for the traditional news media over Hunter Biden, I totally agree with their sentiments.
Now, I was listening to somebody else's show today, dear friend, and he said, he was asking somebody, a guest of his, and the guest said, well, this is the mainstream media, the Washington Post, trying to scramble back a bit of credibility.
John, I don't buy it.
They don't care about, you know, Conservative subscribers because they don't have any.
They don't care about setting the record straight.
So what could be the real reason?
You know, you have amazing connections.
You have amazing sources.
Is Biden going to be indicted, thus putting his father in the White House in jeopardy?
Have you heard anything or what's your best guess as somebody who's been following this, as you said, since 19?
Yeah, no, listen, this has been a story for a long time, and it just took the rest of the media to catch up two and a half years later.
It took them two and a half years to catch up on Russia collusion, so they're on the same flight pattern, I think.
That's one of the things I've noticed.
It takes two and a half years on Democratic scandals to catch up.
Two minutes if it's a conservative scandal.
Right.
Listen, you never know what a grand jury is going to do, what a prosecutor is going to do.
What I can tell you is, you see, and I've interviewed people, there is clear evidence of grand jury activity consistent with what prosecutors do before they bring indictments.
People around Hunter Biden, his business partners, the mother of his child, many others have been brought before the grand jury in accelerating fashion.
And I said, you know, you asked me this, I think, last August about Durham.
And then I said, I'm seeing activity consistent with an indictment.
And then we saw two indictments in September and October last year of Sussman, the Clinton lawyer, And then Igor Danchenko, the main source, if you can call him that, for the Steele dossier.
I'm seeing similar activities in the Hunter Biden case.
We'll have to see if the prosecutors can secure an indictment.
But, you know, Ron Johnson said something profound on Fox News yesterday.
He said that what he thought the media was engaged in, using an old Watergate term, I think Chuck Colson coined this term, modified limited hangout.
I heard that.
Modified limited hangout.
That's a very specific turn of phrase.
Explain it to the non-cognoscenti.
Yeah, it's a public relations term, which is if you've been wrong for a long time, you've been holding out a lie, you got to give some ground to say you're in the game, and so you kind of let out a little bit of the information.
You know, some people look at the mainstream media is doing and say, I think that's what it is.
I can understand why Ron Johnson comes to it.
I think the mainstream media realized, oh my God, there might be an indictment.
There's certainly a serious investigation.
And a lot of the things that our headlines were based on two years ago have fallen apart.
We better get right.
I think it's a CYA exercise more than anything.
But, you know, at the end of the day, the winner is the American public when they finally get the truth from a media that for so long misled them.
Yeah, but it's not about integrity.
It's not about reporting the truth.
It's about covering your backside.
He is the author of Fallout, Nuclear Bribes, Russian Spies and the Washington Lies that Enriched the Clinton and Biden Dynasties.
You are going to break some news in the next couple of hours.
Tell us what you, as much as you can, about the next story coming from justthenews.com.
Well, we're in the middle of a heinous war, right?
You see the horrible atrocities that Russia have committed in Ukraine.
We often forget that eight years ago, there was a similar war with similar atrocities in Ukraine, but in the Crimean region.
It wasn't the entire country.
It was the eastern side of Crimea, Donbas, that area there.
Well, while that war was going on, what we're going to illustrate through documents that we got through FOIA, through the Hunter Biden laptop, through law court records in various corruption cases is that hunter biden and his business partners had a um a scheme let's say a plan to cash in on one oligarch on each side of that earlier russian ukrainian uh thing they were targeting one ukrainian oligarch for tens of millions of dollars they hope to score And then a Russian oligarch that they were hoping to score.
The Ukrainian came through.
We know the story of Burisma.
That was what was going on there.
The Russian we're going to tell a lot more about.
And there's this famous email, you'll see this tomorrow, where Devin Archer, one of Hunter Biden's business partners, him, are going back and forth.
Who's in jail, right?
Devin Archer, who's in jail.
He's been sentenced to jail, but he managed to keep out.
Yeah, he's still waiting to go because he's appealed the sentence.
But yeah, he's convicted of felony fraud, securities fraud, and he should be in prison.
He's waiting to go to prison as he appeals.
But they're riding back and forth, and they're trying to get this deal done with the Russian.
And Devin Archer writes to Hunter, Hunter, this could be a life-changing set of deals, meaning these oligarch deals, provided that Ukraine doesn't collapse, meaning provided that Russia doesn't conquer the entirety of Ukraine before we can get our money.
What?
Just think about that.
The vice president's son trying to cash in on a war by getting money on each side of the two countries that were involved.
It tells you everything you need to know about this clan, but get it chapter and verse in the book Fallout.
Follow this man, adjust the news and Jay Solomon reports on Twitter.
Can't wait for that story to break.
I know he's going to text me as soon as it's out and then I'm going to be reposting it.

Mike's back on.
How long is... Oh, do we have the... Mark Robinson?
The Klitschko cut now?
Yeah.
How long is it?
42 seconds.
Huh?
42.
You wanna hear it?
No, I know it.
I know it.
16 cuts now.
Play me cut 12.
You may remember I got criticized for calling Putin a war criminal.
Yeah, Biden's gonna lead the prosecution.
I know, that's what I'm gonna talk about.
He is a war criminal, but we have to gather the information.
We have to continue to provide Ukraine with the weapons they need to continue the fight.
And we have to gather all the detail so this could be an actual have a war crime trial.
This guy is brutal.
Yeah, Biden's going to lead the prosecution.
I know that's what I'm going to talk about.
All right.
Do we have anything here?
Merch, okay.
Come in, come in with that cut.
That cut, cut 12 after the liner.
40 seconds.
And here's real quick the audio.
Okay.
This is humanitarian aid that the fellowship is sending from Israel directly into Ukraine.
Food, medicine, warm clothing is needed now.
This is one plane.
Praise God.
But we need five planes.
We need ten planes.
We need a hundred planes.
Okay.
Stand by.
Thank you.
I know Sebastian well.
Listen to him.
He's with us.
You may remember I got criticized for calling Putin a war criminal.
Well, the truth of the matter, you saw what happened in Bukovka.
This warrants him, he is a war criminal.
But we have to gather the information, we have to continue to provide Ukraine with the weapons they need to continue the fight, and we have to gather all the detail so this can be an actual, have a war crime trial.
This guy is brutal.
Yeah, wake up.
This guy's brutal.
He's done it before in Chechnya.
He's done it to his own citizens.
But you're calling him a war criminal and then saying we have to collect the evidence?
Doesn't it work the other way around?
And what are you going to do about it?
You're the person who's brought us to our knees.
You're the person who's treating our friends like enemies and our enemies like friends.
Whether it's shutting down the XL Keystone pipeline that shut down 36,000 jobs in Canada, or whether it's recreating the Iran deal to help the Mullahs get even closer to nuclear Armageddon.
That's who you are.
So you're talking about collecting evidence?
What, is there going to be an International War Crimes Tribunal like there was for the former Yugoslavia?
Are we going to hunt down Milosevic?
Again?
But now it's Putin?
Not so sure that's going to actually happen.
It's cheap to talk.
And when we hear from John Solomon that your son was making deals on both sides of the war when Ukraine was the last invaded by Russia, then really, can you be trusted?
What if the evidence collected leads to some culpability in terms of influence peddling in your own family, Joe Biden?
What if it turns out that Hunter was working hand-in-glove with people who may be supporting the war efforts of Russia?
Or elements of the Ukraine that are less savory?
Is your Attorney General going to give that evidence over to some international tribunal?
And how are you going to prosecute the president of a nuclear-tipped nation with 11 time zones?
Talk is so very, very cheap, isn't it, Joe?
But that's all you know, and that's all you've been doing for 50 years.
It's just talking.
Well, you dear friends, in addition to supporting the Ukrainian refugees at my website, with the banner at the top, Help Ukraine, you can send a message to Biden's White House.
That's the most popular item on our website right now.
It's the t-shirt where Zelensky tells Biden, I don't need a ride.
I need ammunition.
Go right now.

That's S-E-B-G-O-R-K-A-Store.com.

Thank you.
Oh, did you see the email from Wasa?
Oh yeah, I already signed it.
Thanks.
Okay, Mike's back on.
Three minutes.
And who did we save for A?
Who did we add?
Cory D'Angelo.
Oh, excellent.
Titles!
Um, A, um... Go after the conspiracy theorists again?
Russia, Russia... ...does it again.
Uh-huh.
Monica, um...
What was the first segment?
Second segment was States.
First segment was... The Buttigieg thing.
You reacted to that.
Oh yeah, yeah.
The genius that is Mayor Pete Buttigieg.
Solomon.
How Hunter exploited Russia's first invasion.
Uh-huh.
And the pre-record?
Unwoke-ifying America.
Unwokefying.
I won't be able to post the videos until a little bit later tonight than usual because the Wi-Fi here is not great right now.
I've let Matzka know.
Okay.
I'll do that like as soon as I get home.
I'll just post them one after the other.
Two minutes.
You said you want to come in with Robinson here?
Please.
Alrighty.
And stay on top of him.
I'd love to get him on.
I have.
He's one of my favorite people.
Oh crap, hang on.
Are we idiots?
We should have put him on Newsmag, shouldn't we?
Oh yeah, yeah.
That'd be great in A. He's a busy man, I imagine.
Um... Hey look, it's our buddy Dan Hoffman.
He always looks so serious.
Well, considering the state of the world we're at right now.
No, I just think he's nervous.
I think he just hasn't done enough TV.
He shouldn't be that nervous.
He's with Kabuto.
One minute.
Coming in with Robin.
Oh, that's a good line.
Line one.
That's great.
45. - Five.
9 is Hogan's attacking DeSantis, right?
Yes.
Right, then I'll probably use this after Mark.
Gotta love Hogan.
Alright, 30 seconds.
No, I can hate him.
Exactly, I know, I know.
Only in a state like Maryland.
Alright, 20 seconds.
Standing by.
Standing by.
America First Can you believe it?
They are saying that they don't agree with America First.
How do you say that?
Magnificent.
There's something else I'm not supposed to say.
Ain't but two genders.
Two genders.
Ain't nothing but men and women.
And I can already see WRAL out there, they got their lickety pencils right now.
Trying to write fear so they can't.
Get every word of this here.
Get every word of this.
You can go to the doctor and get cut up.
You can go down to the dress shop and get made up.
You can go down there and get drugged up, but at the end of the day you were just a drugged up, dressed up, made up, cut up, man or woman.
You ain't changed what God put in you, that DNA.
You can't transcend God's creation?
I don't care how hard you try.
The transgender movement in this country, if there's a movement in this country that is demonic and that is full of the spirit of Antichrist, it is the transgender movement.
It's time for grown-ups and time for Christians to start standing up and being unafraid to tell the truth.
Come after me if you want to.
I don't care.
You want my head?
Here it is right here.
Come on, come get it.
I don't care because it's time for us to stand up.
Now I'm not afraid to stand up and tell the truth about that issue.
They're dragging our kids down into the pit of hell trying to teach them that mess in our schools.
Tell you like this, that ain't got no place at no school.
Two plus two don't equal transgender.
It equals four!
We need to get back to teaching them how to read!
Instead of teaching them how to go to hell!
Mr. Jay, you there?
Yes, I am.
What would happen to America?
He's my political guru, okay?
What would happen to this nation if we replaced every GOP member of Congress with Mark Robinson?
We'd win.
And the Democrats would be like... Exactly.
Forever, they'd be toast.
Exactly, for at least 30 years.
Gosh, that clip is even better the second time around.
It is.
I saw that.
When did I send that to you?
Today or yesterday?
When was that?
Today.
Today.
All right, so somebody posted that clip of Lieutenant Governor, great friend of the show, Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina, Mark Robinson.
And they didn't even say who it was.
They didn't even say who it was on Twitter.
And somebody said, I like the pastor or something.
It's not the pastor.
The guy was, what was he?
He was in the US Army.
I think he worked in the automotive industry.
And then what was it, Jeff, like three years ago, two years ago, that video went viral of him at the town hall?
It was three years ago, the gun video, right?
The gun video.
Yeah.
So he'd served in the army, but Mark Robinson didn't own a gun.
But the local town wanted to ban the next gun show for some kind of spurious whatever garbage reason.
Let's find, Eric, find that video and let's just repost it.
He stood up at the podium.
He was given time at the podium at the town hall meeting.
Was it Greenville?
I think it was Greenville.
He just gave this, he said, he had no notes.
You can see it's an extemporaneous speech in which he was perhaps the greatest orator for the Second Amendment that I've ever heard.
Because his point was a very simple one.
By banning a legal event, such as the next gun show, you are criminalizing the citizens who've done nothing and done nothing to stop the criminal going to the car park of Walmart or Kmart and buying his next Saturday night special, his sawn-off shotgun, his stolen Glock, whatever it is.
Nothing!
Nothing!
But you are not going to criminalize me.
That's what Mark Robinson said.
And it is not an exaggeration.
That video that truly, I mean a lot of people overuse the word, but that video that went viral propelled That individual to the office of the lieutenant governor.
And may it not be the last office he holds.
May it not be the only office he holds.
Because that speech that you just heard, two minutes long, from a church somewhere, I don't even know what church it was, but he had a group of laymen or pastors or clergymen arrayed around him.
Was magnificent.
Not just because of the energy, but because of the message.
The three things she said.
You, if you're mistaken, if you've got psychological issues, if you're a cultist of the transgender ideology, because it is a cult, You can cut yourself, you can remove things from your body, as some sick people are doing to children.
You can get all made up.
Paint yourself.
You can even get drugged up with hormone treatment.
With chemicals that are used to chemically castrate pedophiles in federal prison?
You can do all of that!
You can get cut up, made up, drugged up, but it don't change a thing.
You're still a man.
Or you're still a woman.
Because you can never change that.
Because that is God's truth.
You are the same human being, male or female, as the day you were born, on the day they put you in the ground.
Nothing can change that.
Nothing you do to your body, nothing you say about pronouns, about your being pansexual, Is, ze, they?
Nope!
Because as he adds, two plus two does not equal transgender.
I think we're going to have to dedicate the next edition of my Newsmax show to that one question.
We've already reached out to the Lieutenant Governor.
We're going to try and get him on this show.
But maybe we need to get him on the TV show.
And let me say, I do this rarely.
Yesterday's was something else.
People texted me afterwards during it.
Not because of me or what I said, but because of what we covered and the guests we had.
It's about the situation in Europe and you need to see it.
If you haven't seen it, You need to go to Rumble.
My team posted the whole hour.
It's on the Rumble feed.
That's rumble.com slash Seb Gawker.
Rumble, it's where we live stream.
The whole three hours of this show is videocast, simultaneously as the terrestrial radio broadcast.
But we also add everything else I do Other things of interest, and the TV show, at rumble.com slash sebgorka.
That's rumble.com slash s-e-b-g-o-r-k-a.
Yesterday, it was Ukraine.
The truth about Ukraine.
Next week, it's every Sunday night, on Newsmax, 7pm, 10pm Eastern.
I think we're going to dedicate it to this issue.
Because Mark is right.
It is diabolical.
There is no other word for this.
Denying nature is perverse.
It is a perversion.
It is abhorrent.
It is an assault on all that is sacred.
To mutilate, to abuse children.
There is nothing, nothing more wicked than that.
And together we can stop it and together we must stop it.
It is a measure of who we are.
It is a measure of whether or not this civilization is so decrepit and abnormal that we will allow this to persist.
I for one will not.
Are you with me?
Nothing else matters except our commitment to the truth and protecting the most vulnerable, especially the children of our nation and our civilization.
I'm Sebastian Gawker.
God bless you, Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson.

Music by Ben Thede - Thanks, back on.
I'll call her up at about two minutes before.
America First, what's your name?
What do you want to say?
Three minutes.
Okay, what have I not seen?
Six and seven, please.
Bill 42, which restricted immigration at the southern border.
It comes as your administration says there could be up to 18,000 apprehensions of undocumented migrants per day.
Does the administration see an influx of migrants as a problem, and can you guarantee that they will be treated humanely?
Well, Donna, first, when it comes to Title 42, all along we've been following the science.
That's what this is about.
So, when the CDC and others conclude that the science doesn't warrant that, as is now happening, then we'll take action.
We've talked for a long time, you and I, Becky.
I've never been part of a White House that is doing more to try to help American households by easing inflationary pressures in the near, medium, and long term.
Okay, and then, uh, nine.
Okay.
And, yeah, uh, nine and thirteen, please.
Oh, okay, I'm bringing her up now.
Here's nine.
The Santa's always talking about, uh, you know, he was not, not demanding that businesses do things, but he was, you know, telling the cruise lines what they had to do.
He was telling local schools what they're mandating, and now he's, he wants to criticize Disney for expressing, you know, how they feel about that.
Uh, that bill.
I mean, they have every right to it.
We have a thing called freedom of speech.
They can come out and say what they think.
I think the bill was kind of absurd and not something that would have happened in our state.
You said 13 and then which else?
That's it.
Oh, okay.
All right.
This eight hour gap in Trump's phone calls as hundreds of his violent supporters, to remind our viewers, stormed the Capitol, beat police, and interrupted the certification of Biden's election victory.
Honestly, Ellie, the ghetto president that they thought Obama would be is officially Donald Trump.
This dude is walking like he's voting from the wire with burner phones.
All right.
She's crazy.
Morris, can you hear us?
Oh, she's frozen.
Oh, she's frozen.
Picture's frozen.
Let me hang up and try calling her back.
We had her for a little bit.
Thank you.
Hello, can you hear us?
Yes, I can hear.
Okay, good.
Now I can.
There we go.
Fixed.
30 seconds to go back on the radio.
Hey, what's the latest, Emma?
Bye.
Hey, so we have basically every major member of Legacy Media has weighed in and confirmed.
And I have, I don't think we discussed my column.
Ten seconds.
10 seconds.
The last one was on.
Five seconds.
Stand by.

I gave her a big, big shout out in the first hour of the show.
She's the lady who broke the original laptop from hell story for the New York Post.
Now, she is just one of the most important people in conservative media at one of the most important, if not the most important, conservative website out there.
It's brightbar.com and she's Emma Jo Morris.
Emma, welcome back to America First.
Thank you for having me on and you're flattering me.
Thank you.
So, well, that's all right.
I'm just waiting for you to finish that article about the January 6th committee that you interviewed me for.
So if I flatter you, it may actually happen three months later.
Keeping my fingers crossed.
I've now done it.
I've now shamed you in front of three million people.
We will see if she keeps her promises.
I'm not holding my breath, but hey, she's a busy lady.
That's a big story.
You have to lay it on thicker than that.
Really?
I thought three million witnesses is good enough.
I'll be texting you after the show, I'll be pressurizing you even more.
Emma Jo, to be in your position would be a little bit weird for me.
I resent anybody calling me a journalist, first things off.
Don't ever call me a journalist, especially not to my face.
But to be the person who breaks potentially Probably the biggest story in politics since the JFK assassination.
And then to be roundly rejected, lambasted, made a laughingstock by the mainstream media.
God bless Breitbart for stealing you.
And now, a year and a half later, to have newspapers that should be used to wrap fish and chips But our emblematic of the establishment say, yes, we have confirmed with our sources that is Hunter Biden's laptop, although they don't say who their sources are.
I wonder if they just called up Emma Jo.
Are you angry?
Are you pissed?
Are you smiling?
Are you vindicated?
I'm curious.
Where are you right now, Emma Jo Morris?
Well, first of all, the biggest insult, bigger than being called a journalist, is being told that you deserve a Pulitzer.
Right.
Which is which is really sad because, you know, Pulitzer was a Hungarian and he was a great man.
And now it's like, really?
I wouldn't wipe my backside with a Pulitzer award.
But carry on.
Yeah.
So, yeah, exactly.
Exactly.
So, yeah.
So, I mean, That's the thing.
I guess I'm expected to feel vindicated or I'm expected to take this as some sort of indication that now my reporting can be discussed in the mainstream.
It's also disingenuous.
And even the way that it's been reported on by these papers, whether it be the Washington Post or the New York Times, is also disingenuous because, first of all, they are kind of gaslighting their readers.
I mean, you and I and your listeners know that You know, they've been lying the whole time, but they have never officially addressed that to their readers.
So their readers are kind of waking up one morning and opening the paper and saying, "Wait, what?
Like, you just spent the last two years telling me from the mouth of John Brennan, the CIA director, that this was fake news and Russian disinformation." So how are you just doing an about-face now?
Hang on, hang on.
This is really important.
I don't think anybody, we just had John Solomon on, I don't think anybody's addressed this, that this is the equivalent of having a prestigious organ, say for two years, Yeah, the world is flat.
And then suddenly, they write an article about the world being round, but they don't say anything about the years of saying the opposite.
And they haven't addressed the attacks on you or Breitbart or the New York Post.
They haven't suddenly said, oh, you and Miranda Devine are suddenly respected journalists.
There's no mea culpa.
No, no, exactly.
Right, exactly.
And it must be bizarre because there are many people in this country who live and die by the word of the New York Times and the Washington Post.
And so they're just kind of like tuning in and feeling like they've woken up from a coma and aren't really understanding the narrative, right?
Because it just is so abrupt from the snap of their fingers.
They've decided now that this is real, especially the New York Times, who didn't do any additional reporting on this.
They have literally just abruptly decided that now The laptop is a legitimate source of information to report on.
So that is bizarre.
And also, the thing that is happening at the same time is that, okay, so we establish now that the laptop is authentic, that the reporting by the New York Post is authentic by Miranda and I, but then that leads an obvious question that has now an elephant in the room, which is, if those claims are true, Then doesn't this have to be addressed to the White House by these same outlets?
The Washington Post and the New York Times can't now sit in the White House press room after their publications have acknowledged that 10% for the big guy is an authentic document and not ask about it because that indicates that Joe Biden has a financial stake in the capitalist arm of the Belt and Road.
Which is China's policy for global dominance.
That's what Emma Jo Morris is addressing, yes.
And then there's that even perverse element where they say, way back when we asked for the laptops from Mayor Giuliani and Steve Bannon, as if it's the responsibility of Mayor Giuliani to do the work of the lying legacy media.
I mean, do they have no shame?
I guess that's a stupid question, right?
And as if they're just entitled to it, you know, like, I don't know if this has ever been said in public, but you know, I'll break some news on your show.
And I guess it's obvious, which is why it's never, I've never explicitly said it, but they didn't just toss the laptop to me.
This was a negotiation and weeks of work trying to actually get the laptop before I could even do any verification or reporting on it.
Like, I had to actually work in order to get a product to report on.
And you had to do the work of a journalist to make sure, and your editors had to have your back to make sure that this isn't some big joke or some kind of hustle.
Well, that's it.
But the only way to establish that premise is to obviously get the laptop in your possession.
Rudy and Steve Bannon were not just tossing it to me at all.
I had to work them.
That's how journalism works.
You work a source until you can get the information that you need in order to report.
I knew that they had something that I wanted to report on or I thought I did.
But it's not just, oh, I walked over to Rudy's house and he just gave it to me.
It's like, no, that is a very tense negotiation that goes on for weeks in terms of obtaining the information.
And the Washington Post now is stopping their feet.
Oh, Rudy didn't just give it to me.
It's like, well, right, because You might not be aware, but it takes work in order to work.
And why would you give it to an organ that has demonstrated its willingness to be the propaganda arm of the DNC that is implicated with that laptop?
Follow her, Emma Jo NYC.
She'll be back with us momentarily.
And don't forget to bookmark Breitbart.com.
This is America first.
Mics are back on.
uh you You mentioned a column.
Which column should I mention?
Okay, so I wrote a column.
I don't think that I discussed it on your show, but tell me if I'm wrong.
It's a I don't know if you have access to a computer, but it's basically about how the New York Times has now come forward and tried to say that now it's right and not taking responsibility for their previous reporting, but their previous reporting lives on because it's in ink, and that's the point of publication.
So they can't get away now.
When was that?
When did you write that?
What was it called?
We'll post it.
Yeah, it was called Morris Colon New York Times Disgrace.
Fake paper of record deceived its audience about Laptop from Hell.
Published the 19th of March 2022.
I can send it to Jeff.
I can text it to him.
Yeah, we can find it.
We can find it.
Which outlet was that posted for?
BrightBot, right?
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
And so we can talk about that, about how there is no getting away from this.
Good, good, good.
Yeah.
Morris and NYT disgrace.
Those are the keywords.
Who did you give the J6 article to?
Katherine Hamilton.
I don't think I know her.
She's good.
She's actually very good.
She does various things for us and she's covered stuff in Capitol Hill.
She's folding it into a bigger story as well because basically like the story with that was We got a lot of, I got a lot of claims and testimonials from various people who have been ensnared in the January 6th saga.
But a lot of it is kind of grievance airing and it was hard to parse real news out of what was going on.
Mine wasn't.
Mine was excellent.
Yours was a piece of news, right?
A straight piece of news.
But the rest of the big story was kind of falling apart.
No one had good, like, I was trying to, I guess, make it into a bigger story, but in that you just have a lot of grievances, which I don't want to publish.
All right, good.
Hopefully she'll be in touch soon.
That's it.
She has a news item to put it in.
Okay.
All right, 90 seconds.
One minute.
We got my pillow and relief here.
Alright, 30 seconds.

We're back with Emma Jo Morris, now the political editor for Breitbart.com.
Follow her at EmmaJoNYC.
She broke the original laptop from Hell Story and she is now at Breitbart.com.
Emma Jo, you wrote a piece back in March to go a bit deeper about The fact that the New York Times, the Washington Post, may be trying to gaslight its own readers, and we may be in the 21st century and you can kind of electronically dicker with stuff, but the fact is, the record of what they've written for a year and a half, it's, you know, the internet, it's forever!
That's it, exactly.
And that's basically the point of the column is to say as much as they're going to try to do an about face now or without really doing an about face, they're kind of tacitly acknowledging that their stories before weren't true by admitting now that the laptop is real.
They can't do that.
It doesn't work because anybody and people will.
I mean, this will be a matter of historical record.
Go into the archives of the New York Times.
It's not that old now and it certainly will be alive, you know, as this history is recorded and see what they said.
And so, given the fact that they haven't retracted, they haven't corrected, that reporting, as of now, stands as it is.
And their readers, as we discussed in the last segment, their readers are looking at this now saying, wait, what?
That isn't what you said.
And as their readers go back and look at what has previously been reported to check their sanity, They'll see that, no, yes, that's right, the New York Times did absolute lies, and those lies live.
It's actually risky for them, because now maybe somebody who's reading the New York Times who's actually awake and has two brain cells will realize that they've been lied to for years.
Now, whether they admit that to themselves is another question.
The real issue, and I've asked this to John, John Solomon and others, was...
Why would they do this now?
Some are saying they want to somehow repair their reputation.
It does the opposite.
It demonstrates to the world who they are.
Have your sources told you anything about how this is them trying to get out in front of a Hunter Biden indictment?
Or just tell us, what does your gut tell you, Emma?
Well, so yeah, I mean, I guess PR logic would dictate that there is some hammer that's about to drop and they're trying to soften this somehow.
But I mean, can you, I mean, you watched, you know, you were a guest on Hannity when I was a producer there, you watched The absolute disgrace that happened by the deep state, by the intelligence community, by the media, by the Democratic Party, Hillary Clinton, they were all involved.
They were all involved in what was a soft coup, essentially, against Donald Trump.
And they knew what they were doing and they've kind of been caught in certain things, but there's never been a reckoning in terms of justice for that.
And this is something that is on a magnitude that is on par in terms of how scandalous it is.
...even surpasses people like Brennan and Clapper in terms of the target of the problem, which is Hunter, the son of the President of the United States and the king of the establishment.
So, you know, according to conventional wisdom or logic and like PR, I guess you would think that maybe the New York Times and the Washington Post are trying to get out in front of something that's happening.
But really, knowing what we know over the last four years, five years, can we really see the DOJ, the deep state going after one of their own?
I can't see it.
So, I mean, not to sound You know, get conspiracy brain here, but I mean, I've just been witness to the last five years and watched these people create an intelligence hoax out of thin air and have zero accountability by paralyzing a president, have zero accountability.
And so just something like this, I can't imagine.
It's a really powerful way of putting it.
An intelligence hoax that paralyzed the president.
And look, you know, we know these people are scum.
We know Hunter is scum.
What John told us about exploiting both sides of the Ukrainian-Russian invasion of Crimea five years ago, only a true, true, you know, inveterate Invertebrate does that.
And we know Brennan and everybody else who's part of the hoax is also likewise scum.
But the New York Times wasn't part of the Democrat administration.
They weren't directors of the CIA.
They weren't profiting with shady deals with energy companies in Ukraine.
They did this voluntarily, which is perhaps even worse.
But it's okay, because we've got people like Emma Jo Morris out there.
She broke it originally, then Breitbart stole her from the New York Post.
Follow her at EmmaJoNYC.
God bless you.
Keep doing what you do.

Alright, that was excellent.
Title for that.
Nice back on.
She's gone.
All right.
That was excellent.
Title for that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
The biggest intelligence hoax in American history.
Uh-huh.
Okay.
All right.
Thank you.
Two minutes.
Do you have all the titles?
Uh, yes, I do.
do. 90 seconds.
Okay, what have we got?
We've got plenty of cuts.
We do.
What happened to that great caller with that great idea?
It always happens.
It's so good.
We played Robinson, Buttigieg.
The English were the boss.
It never hurts.
Yeah.
So you want to hear cut four this time?
The actual cut four?
Yes.
Yeah.
You want to come in with it?
Just play it quickly.
Together we're standing up against some of the most sinister forces, entrenched interests, and vicious opponents our people have ever seen or our country has ever seen.
Despite all your hearing and seeing of China and Russia and Iran and others, our biggest danger is not from outside coming in.
All right, I'm probably going to use that and Zelensky.
And then I'm probably going to, if I have time, I'll get... Okay, we're doing the IFJC tier two.
I'll get Jeff to comment on Larry Hogan.
Excellent.
All right.
Ten seconds.
Stand back.
You're listening to America First with Dr. G.
I'm pretty sure you didn't watch the Grammys.
Because who watches all that garbage anymore?
Academy Awards.
But, a very canny politician who knows how important it is to get other countries on his side right now, as kindergartens are being shelled by the Russians, he prepared a speech, a recorded speech, And it's a kind of sanity check, it's a reality check.
Here's the president of a nation under siege, Volodymyr Zelensky, talking about the difference between what's going on in his country and people at award ceremonies.
The war doesn't let us choose who survives and who stays in internal silence.
Our musicians wear body armor instead of tuxedo.
They sing to the wounded in hospitals, even to those who can't hear them.
But the music will break through anyway.
The music will break through anyway.
He's talking to a room of musicians in America who are safe, who are rich.
Musicians in Ukraine are wearing body armor, singing to wounded Ukrainians in hospital.
That's an example of manhood.
That's an example of bravery, of courage.
What are we doing about it?
Well, not much given this White House.
However, there is an amazing organization.
It's the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews that is flying aid, medical supplies, food to the people in Ukraine under siege right now.
And the trip originates in Israel.
They ship the supplies to the women, the children starving in Ukraine.
And then the empty planes are filled with Jewish refugees from Ukraine who want to go to their ancestral homeland.
It is a beautiful, beautiful concept.
And right now, I want you to help them.
If you donate $45 for one of these round trips of aid to Ukraine and then refugees to Israel, The fellowship will match it 100%.
They will double the donation.
One of the most blessed things you can do for the people of the Holy Land and for those suffering in Ukraine.
An incredible gesture.
Will you help today?
If you donate $100, it will be matched and turn magically into $200.
Let's do everything we can for the people of Ukraine and for the Jewish people who wish to live in Israel.
Go to my website sebgorka.com and click on the banner at the very top which says Crisis in Ukraine.

Another man who knows how to lead his people against the extremists is the President of the United States, my former boss, President Trump, who was in Michigan the weekend identifying the greatest threat to this, the greatest nation on God's earth, Cutthroat.
Together we're standing up against some of the most sinister forces, entrenched interests, and vicious opponents our people have ever seen, or our country has ever seen.
Despite all your hearing and seeing of China and Russia and Iran and others, our biggest danger is not from outside coming in.
Our biggest danger is from the sick And radical politicians that are knowingly or unknowingly wanting to destroy our country.
It's the biggest danger.
It's a bigger danger than Russia and China.
But no matter how big or powerful these corrupt radicals may be, you must never forget this nation does not belong to them.
This nation belongs to you, the people that built it.
I think that message is enough to propel him back into the White House.
This message doesn't belong to the extremists, to the radicals.
It belongs to you, dear friends.
Let's go to your calls, Bill, line one, Chicago!
Yeah, I wanted to say, Mr. Grohl, first of all, thanks for taking my call.
Everything is created spiritually before it's created physically.
People don't understand that.
And a female spirit is placed into a female body.
And, you know, when we leave this earth and we regain our bodies, and that was through the atonement of Jesus Christ, I hope people understand that, is that, you know, a female will be reunited to the female body, and male also.
And people don't understand these things.
Well, it's not that they don't understand them.
They've been deliberately inculcated into an ideology that denies it.
It's not just willful ignorance.
For some it is, Bill.
But for many, it's the fact that they have been taken hostage by an ideology that would deny that we even have a spirit, Bill.
Yeah, you're right.
You're right.
You're right.
We're taught in the church that I go to that everything was created spiritually before it was created physically.
But that's not a question.
That's not a question.
That's how God operates.
It's very clear that He does that.
He knows everything.
God is not a God of confusion.
No!
No!
Satan is the arch-deceiver!
And that's why what Mark Robertson said in that incredible speech we played at the top of the hour, at the very end, he kind of tacks it on, but it is the heart of everything, that what we are witnessing is truly demonic, it is diabolical.
Think about this, not only are you denying truth, that a man is a man, a woman is a woman, what is the next stage?
They mutilate children!
They remove the sexual organs.
They chemically castrate children.
There's only one person happy at that.
And it's not the child undergoing quote-unquote transgender therapy.
It's Beelzebub.
It's the devil.
The arch-deceiver.
That who smiles a wry smile because you are doing the work of the devil when you abuse little children.
Like the 30-year-old man who raped his 13-year-old niece.
And Katenji Brown gave him what?
12 months in prison.
12 months for raping his 13-year-old niece.
It's all diabolical.

Blimey.
What do you want to call it?
God bless this warrior from North Carolina.
All right.
Um, can you get Casio to, um, Post cut 2, cut 8, in a better, can he find a better one?
That audio's crap.
Which one was that?
Daslinsky?
Yeah.
Alright, when did you say cut what?
2 and 8.
Yep.
And then 10 and 11 together, where Biden just brain farts.
Okay.
Alright.
All right. 35 seconds.
All right.
I think... I think I've pieced it together.
What?
The whole issue was getting the full show audio so Eric could use it, and I think... Did somebody steal my phone?
My phone's gone.
Yeah, it's in the new studio.
It was a problem.
This is America First, and here's your host, Dr. Sebastian Gorka.
I gotta squeeze in three quarters before our amazing one-on-one guest.
Let's go!
Phil, line two!
Dr. G, I just had a crazy thought.
General Milley, our pillow-talking General Milley, wants to have all our Genius!
Genius!
Yes, you could destroy the whole U.S.
Armed Forces with an electromagnetic pulse if we went completely woke.
That's why you're getting a Zelensky t-shirt.
Phil always brings it!
Mike, Ohio, Line 3!
Hey, hey Gorka, Navy Veteran here.
God bless.
And I want to address this word trans.
They're not transferring their existence and they're not transitioning into anything other than what God made them.
We need to use the word alt.
Oh, that's really good, Mike.
You're a genius.
I'll see you're altered and I'll raise you mutilated.
How about that?
I'll see you're altered.
All right, stay on the line.
You're a genius, Mike.
He gets an America First hat.
Sharon, also Philadelphia, line four.
Hey, Dr. Gorka, how are you?
Good!
You got two minutes, hit me!
Okay, I have a quick story for you about this CRT.
I live in Philly.
My daughter and her family moved out to the suburbs, and so my granddaughter's in second grade.
And I have twin grandsons who are five.
Okay, so they live out in the suburbs and I'm upstairs one day and I hear one of the boys saying to my granddaughter that Joey or whoever won't play with him.
And she said, well, you can just tell the teacher that he's not playing with you and he'll have to play with you.
And I was getting ready to go down and explain that's not really how it works.
And then she starts on, well, what color is his skin?
And then she's like, well, is it the color of mommy's coffee, or is it medium, or is he dark?
And he said, well, he's medium.
And then she started saying, well, what kind of hair does he have?
And I was so shocked.
It was like she was going down a list of questions to ask him.
And I said to my daughter, I'm like, you kind of need to check into this.
She's like, she's just kind of doesn't even understand, you know?
So we're almost out of time.
You're saying your granddaughter was going down a checklist that she got from her teachers who are using CRT.
Is that what you're saying?
That's what it sounded like.
I couldn't even... How old is your grandchild?
My granddaughter is in second grade, and my twin grandsons are five.
You know that's exactly what happened.
There's no kid who's seven years old, eight years old, who says, OK, what pallor was their skin?
Was it like coffee, macchiato, or cappuccino?
What kind of hair did they have?
That's another piece of diabolical evidence.
Thank you for sharing, Sharon, I think.

Welcome, dear friends, to a very special one-on-one here on America First with me, Sebastian Gorka, former strategist to President Trump and currently member of the National Security Education Board.
For those who are unfamiliar of what I did prior to my time in the White House or as a radio host, My thing was strategy.
I spent the better part of the 1990s and the aughts working national security issues, ending up as a professor of irregular warfare and counterterrorism in the Department of Defense at National Defense University and then at the Marine Corps University.
Spent a lot of years working with our guys in Bragg, teaching as a guest lecturer on the Q course, which is the qualification course for the Green Berets.
That is why our next guest for one-on-one.
Well, this could very dangerously become more than just one hour chatting with him.
He is Toby Harnden, and he's the author of a book called First Casualty, The Untold Story of the CIA Mission to Avenge 9-11.
Toby, welcome to One on One.
Thanks very much, Sebastian.
Great to be with you.
So, you have kind of reinvented yourself in the last year or since this book came out.
I see this Very, very nicely curated posts on Instagram elsewhere with these iconic photographs from the battle zones, from the mountains of Afghanistan, where you're taking a snippet of this incredible story and illustrating an individual, an event.
Let me start with the big picture.
So, I came to this issue of the GWAT as a guy who'd done counter-terrorism stuff.
I was in the reserves in the British Territorial Army, then worked at the RAND Corporation on Al-Qaeda issues.
And then I looked at this question of insurgency and counter-insurgency, foreign internal defense as Bragg calls it, and I was convinced of the following.
For all the weaknesses of the last 21 years, what America with a very select number of allies and locals did in the October of 2001, I think in a way it is that case study.
I agree with you absolutely.
operators paramilitaries with a tiny investment of manpower creating a strategic effect should be a case study of how it's done.
And I think your book shares that analysis.
I think in a way it is that case study.
I agree with you.
Absolutely.
I mean, this is a period in time when we had hundreds of Americans on the ground.
There were a handful?
Yes.
Not the 100,000 we had a decade later.
And they were CIA paramilitaries, CIA case officers, Green Berets, US Air Force combat controllers.
And they were working by, with and through.
Which is the phrase, if you're not familiar.
This is the, you know, the Green Berets, the in theatre, irregular warfare, by, with and through, is how you look at the locals.
That's right.
By, with and through the indigenous allies.
And the indigenous allies were the Northern Alliance in the north, a few Pashtuns in the south, Who were the resistance to the foreign invaders.
The Americans weren't the foreign invaders.
I mean, my sort of contention really is that there wasn't an American invasion of Afghanistan until 2002.
The foreign invaders were the Arabs of Al-Qaeda.
And that's who the Taliban... The foreign fighters, if you would.
Yeah, yeah.
So there were no, very, very few Afghans in Al-Qaeda.
They were mostly Arabs.
I mean, one of them in the book was John Morkelin, who was an American from... The African, the American Taliban.
That's right.
Who was actually Al-Qaeda.
So, yeah, I mean, it wasn't an American fight.
It was an Afghan fight resisting, as I say, these foreigners from al-Qaeda who've been harboured by the Afghan stroke Pakistani Taliban regime.
And it was incredibly successful.
Now, it was limited success.
I mean, it's easier to topple a regime than to replace it.
But it's, you know, a heroic moment in American history.
Well, let's just immediately jump to today.
We have 180, 190,000 troops deployed by Russia, and they don't manage to topple Kiev, which was the plan, a regime change, in four weeks.
This was a couple of weeks with 200 guys.
Right.
So the comparison is quite shocking.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Alright, so tell us a little bit about, before we get into these amazing stories, Mike Spann, David Tyson, John Walker-Lynde, who is Toby Harnden?
Tell us about what you did in the British Armed Forces and your life as a journalist before you became an author!
Yes, well, you know, we share a somewhat similar accent as listeners and viewers will detect.
You still got yours.
Mine's kind of rubbing off a little bit.
Do you think?
I don't know.
I'm worried.
I'm worried about mine getting a little bit Americanized, but I try.
You're a bit soggy in the middle of the Atlantic somewhere.
Yeah, I'm in the Azores.
I'm in the Azores.
So, yeah, I grew up, you know, I'm 56 years old.
I was born in 66.
My father was in the Navy.
We moved around.
We sort of ended up in Manchester, you know, industrial city in the Northwest.
Lucky you don't have a Mancunian accent.
No, that kind of went.
I think the Royal Navy actually did for the Mancunian accent, which was pretty skin deep anyway.
But you know, I sort of, you know, I wanted to follow in my father's footstep, I guess, as so many sort of young men do.
And I also wanted to get out of Manchester and see the world.
And it just seemed like a very kind of, you know, insular sort of small sort of place.
And so, you know, all that teenage angst was just channeled towards, you know, working hard to get out.
And so I got a sponsorship from the, I joined the Navy at 18.
Wow.
Went to Dartmouth, which is the Britannia Royal Naval College, kind of the equivalent of the US Naval Academy at Annapolis, but not really because it's more basic officers training.
It's like Sanders is shorter.
Yeah, that's right.
I mean, I was there for less than a year.
And I had I through the Navy, I got a sponsorship to Oxford to study modern history.
So I went off whilst a serving naval officer, although I barely wore the uniform for those years apart from a you know a few months sailing around sort of Hong Kong and the Far East and Australia so I had some good times.
Heart trip tours.
Yes exactly um so uh so I was serving naval officer for three years at college and then graduated from college and was pitched in to a career um which I enjoyed immensely but you know it was after the Falklands War which was 1982 so I was joining I was applying to join just um just sort of during the Falklands actually age 16 um but you know I missed that um I was stationed in Scotland for the Gulf
War tried very hard to get involved they managed to that's a long way away from Iraq I know They managed to win it without needing my services.
And I remember my boss at the time said, listen Toby, don't worry about it.
There's going to be plenty of time for medals.
Lots of wars!
And I remember thinking, no there won't.
And of course I left after 10 years service without a single medal.
Well, there was only 100 days to the Iraq war, literally 100 days.
Yes, exactly, exactly.
And nobody killed from the Royal Navy, which was, you know, which was good.
But, you know, in terms of even comparison with the Falklands, it was sort of a blip.
And the Cold War was over.
And so... So the transition to journalists, how did that happen?
So I sort of had itchy feet and I thought I'd get my adventure sort of elsewhere.
And interestingly, it was a Royal Air Force officer who was a public affairs reservist who was the night news editor for a newspaper called the Daily Express, a guy called Gordon Ducker.
And he said, you know, best advice is Max Hastings, now famous historian.
Legendary military historian in the UK.
He was the editor of the Telegraph and actually famous for being a war reporter in the in the Falklands War, sort of the first man into Port Stanley.
And he was interested in, very interested in the services.
And so Gordon said to me, you know, why don't you try the Telegraph?
Get your foot in the door there.
And so that's what I did.
And that led to, you know, sort of 17, 18 years at the Telegraph.
Northern Ireland, which was my big break, and then I was sent to Washington.
I was in Washington DC on 9-11, which was really the genesis for this book.
But lots of other places as well, right?
Yeah, Iraq, Afghanistan, you know, all over the place.
Then I switched to the Sunday Times.
I got, I got, it's interesting how you sort of talked about reinventing myself.
That's somewhat true.
I mean, I got sort of sidelined, is how I look at it really, into covering American politics, which, you know, it was great fun and very interesting, but to me... It's not your bag.
I think my real passion is sort of, you know, war and terrorism and the military and out at the sort of the sharp end.
And so that's what sort of came together with this book.
And why the choice to focus on this period in First Casualty?
Why did you choose these battles?
Well, 9-11.
I mean, I was in DC, you know, walking to work that morning, and the world changed for me, like everybody else.
I vividly remember the news of Mike Spann being killed.
CIA officer, paramilitary officer, former Marine Corps officer.
And his name was released to the public, which was very unusual.
And I remember being fascinated by this guy, you know, how did he end up there?
What was he?
And his widow, Shannon Spann, who was also a CIA officer delivering, you know, a beautiful eulogy in December 2001 at Arlington.
We will dive into that story because so many of the things Toby covers in this book really haven't been given requisite attention.
And I think we've kind of fallen into, I don't know.
It's not a forgotten war, but really not enough is still being said about the last 20 years, the failures and the successes.
It's called First Casualty, the untold story of the CIA mission to avenge 9-11 by Toby Harnden.

You mentioned this story, the prison uprising.
Mike Spann, a former Marine CIA paramilitary.
For those who know nothing, give us the story of that incredible event and what that man did.
Yeah, I mean, it is incredible.
And so, November the 25th, 2001, two CIA officers walk into this fort called Qala Jangi, which means literally like Fort of War outside Mazar-e-Sharif.
Now, backing up a little bit, Mazar-e-Sharif had fallen to Northern Alliance forces, aided by... Our allies.
Our allies, aided by the CIA and Green Berets and Air Force combat controllers and the awesome might of US airpower overhead on November the 10th.
Now, less than a month earlier, Mike Spann had been one of eight CIA officers who landed in the Dariusuf Valley aboard two Black Hawk helicopters that had flown in from Kashi Karnabad, K2, a former Soviet airbase that the Uzbekistan government had given over to the Americans for this post 9-11 mission.
So, October 17th, 2001, they land.
Dropped into the unknown.
First Americans behind American So we are barely, barely a month out since 9-11.
Yeah, first Americans behind enemy lines.
Now there had been a CIA team called Jawbreaker that had landed in the Panjshir Valley on September the 26th.
But that was, you know, relatively speaking safe territory controlled by the Northern Alliance.
But this was enemy territory, Taliban controlled territory.
So eight of them.
Four of them were paramilitaries.
One of those was was Mike Spann.
So paramilitary is somebody who's been seconded, usually, from the military and is working in the CIA, using their skills for the CIA?
Yeah, usually they're actually in the CIA.
Sometimes they're contractors or people who've been seconded.
And on some of the other teams, they were actually serving members of the Delta Force and SEALs.
But the four paramilitaries on Team Alpha were serving CIA officers, Special Activities Division, Scott Spellmayer, who's on the cover of the book, he later became very senior.
He was the senior CIA guy on the National Security Council during the Trump administration.
He became station chief in Kabul, but then a young officer, but already battle-hardened.
He'd been wounded in the Battle of Mogadishu in Somalia in 1993.
There was a guy called Alex Hernandez who was the deputy chief, who was a sergeant major, gone full career in special forces and then joined the agency.
And two case officers, J.R.
Seeger who was the chief, who'd worked with the CIA out of Islamabad in the 1980s.
against the Soviets for supplying Stinger missiles to the Mujahideen.
And David Tyson, who you mentioned at the beginning, who was with Mike Spann on November 25th 2001.
So they're in unfriendly territory.
This is the Ford of War.
Walk us through that event.
So David was a case officer based in Tashkent and spoke Uzbek almost fluently.
And so he's the he's the linguist and the main linguist on the team, although J.R.
Seager also, he spoke Dari, which was the sort of lingua franca in Afghanistan.
But on that day, the team split.
There's a big fight 100 miles to the east expected in Kunduz.
So the bulk of American forces are there.
But the night before, 400 Al-Qaeda prisoners had arrived on the eastern edge of Mazar-e-Sharif to surrender.
And it was extremely murky why they were there.
They should have been surrendering in Kunduz.
And basically, I mean, what I was able to establish, you know, almost beyond doubt, is that this was a Trojan horse operation.
It was a deliberate... A trap?
Yeah, it was a Taliban-Al-Qaeda operation to put Pretend that these 400 fighters had surrendered but in fact they remained armed.
They sort of exploited Afghan custom to keep their weapons with them and they were planning an uprising.
Because you can have lots of people surrender at once if it's a regular army.
During the Gulf War we had thousands of Iraqis surrender at once.
When it's irregular fighters you don't usually get hundreds of them surrendering at the same time.
Right.
So it's a little bit suspicious.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
and um you know there were factions within there and you know but most of them most of them were there to die you know and the northern alliance fighters the uzbeks and tajiks were terrified of them uh and also there was an afghan custom of sort of honor in surrender where you just put down your weapons and go home or take your weapons with you but you wouldn't sort of fight but these weren't afghans yeah
So they were bundled into the fort on the night of November 24th 2001 into a building called the Pink House which is a Soviet built sort of schoolhouse but it had a fortified bunker sort of cellar beneath and they were which had been used to store arms and you know various it'd be controlled by the Taliban, by the Northern Alliance, by the Soviets and so these prisons were shoved down there
As they were going down there, on the night of the 24th, there was a suicide attack, a grenade exploded, killed a couple of Dostum's senior guys.
Wounds the warlord.
Abdul Rashid Dostum was the main US ally that, you know, warlord from central casting, big sort of brutish character, notorious for switching sides, lots of blood on his hands.
But, you know, he was our guy in 2001 and was a very effective fighter and was sort of revered by the CIA and the Green Berets.
So this suicide bomber took out two of Dostum's commanders.
It was a very kind of ambiguous situation.
It was at dusk.
It was very dangerous.
And so they were shoved into this cellar.
That night, you know, Mike Spann and David Tyson, who were two of the CIA officers from Team Alpha who were left behind while the bulk were spread out elsewhere, they spoke to Hank Crumpton, who was the CIA officer.
The big cheese.
He was the deputy to Kofa Black, who was the head of the Counter-Terrorism Centre, another legendary figure.
So David spoke to Hank Crumpton and, you know, you have to remember what the atmosphere was like in 2001.
I mean, we'd just been attacked, 3,000 killed in New York and at the Pentagon and in Flight 93.
Shanksville.
Yeah, I mean, they were the first Americans who fought back, and Americans, I mean, certainly they wanted, you know, we wanted vengeance, but we wanted to stop the next attack, we wanted to take the fight to the enemy, and I mean,
These forces were in Afghanistan very quickly and this was not an environment which you could wait until perfect conditions and so David and Mike went into that fort to do an initial sifts kind of interrogation questioning of the prisoners on that morning knowing that it was a very dangerous situation.
All right, we're going to find out what happened to CIA officer David Tyson and Mike Spann momentarily.
In the meantime, you've got to get this book.
You won't regret it.
It is First Casualty, the untold story of the CIA mission to avenge 9-11 with Toby Harnden's how many interviews?
Oh gosh, I don't know.
Lots.
Lots and lots.
I think I did 327 hours of interviews.

Okay, Toby, you left us in the fort of war.
The paramilitaries are split up.
Lots of fighting going on elsewhere.
David Tyson is there.
They've been in touch with Kofa Black.
You've got Mike Spann as well.
What happened in the rest of the story of the prison outbreak?
So they go into the southern half of the fort.
It's divided by a sort of east-west wall with a gateway in the middle and the Uzbek intelligence officers and Tajik intelligence officers working for Dostum are already bringing the prisoners out in sort of ones and twos from this cellar and they're lined up You know, in long lines with their hands tied behind their backs pretty loosely, really, mostly by their own turbans.
And there's video footage of this that was shot.
They're tied with their own turbans?
Yes.
Not the securest form of prisoner handling, in my experience, as the former prisoner handler in the intelligence corps.
You know, it's one of those what-ifs.
If they'd had a big box of zip ties, the whole history could have changed.
Yes, exactly.
And so David, who speaks Uzbek, a number of Central Asian languages and, you know, was a former academic,
you know it's like the sort of it's the peak of his sort of life in a way to be able to put those languages and all that cultural experience um to use in you know in the defense of his nation and so he's he's questioning trying to work out you know which you know there's goofy stuff some of the same some of them are saying they work for Mossad they work for Al Jazeera they work for the CIA I mean there's there's lots of kind of Get out of jail free card attempts.
But there's also a lot of truth.
There are people talking about training with Al-Qaeda, meeting Bin Laden, being trained in biological and chemical agents.
And so there's a lot of talking going on and David is conferring with the Afghans about who's just a foot soldier, who might be a commander.
Mike, you know, No languages, but, you know, this burning... Mike Spann was almost, I think, the personification of America after 9-11.
You know, with a sword against us, you know, take the fight to the enemy.
He really wanted to be there and he had this sort of, like, burning desire to get to Al-Qaeda.
And these were the first Al-Qaeda prisoners questioned by Americans after 9-11.
So what went wrong?
What happened?
So around 11 a.m they're just about to starting to think about wrapping up because and David you know I've talked to you know endlessly about this um he had this sense that this is just overwhelming there's so much intelligence value here
Two two men can't deal with it and you know, they need to be split up then there needs to be FBI Flown in you know, there needs to be sort of rigorous and kind of methodical interrogations just as he's thinking about you know withdrawing For the day and him and Mike getting out There's a sound and it's on video.
Although it cuts at the moment of the uprising of shouting
some explosions and gunfire and there's a point on the video when there's an Uzbek prisoner that's coming out and he kind of turns around and you can see it that's the start of the uprising and so basically what happened was Mike Spann and you can see it's eerie on the video seconds earlier he just he just walked away from that where from where that prisoner was and had worked at walked over to a medical point with two Afghan doctors who I interviewed in 2020 still alive miraculously
They were treating some of the Al-Qaeda prisoners.
Mike was walking over towards them to try and find some English speakers.
He'd already spoken to the man who subsequently became known as the American Taliban, John Walker Lynd.
But Mike was very close to the pink house and the prisoners came rushing out.
They overpowered the guards, killed them, and Mike had a Kalashnikov on his back and he swung it round and shot several of them as they were running towards him.
Unfortunately, the prisoners who were tied up with their turbans were getting up and they rushed him from behind.
And so he pulled out his Glock pistol, took out a couple of them, and disappeared underneath this pile of bodies.
David Tyson who was I don't know 50 uh 75 yards away you know he hears this commotion and he immediately goes into almost a sense of sort of psychological shock like time slowing down losing his hearing um you know a real like almost sort of transformative yeah the tunnel vision the time slows down yeah yeah but You know, all his senses working overtime, he heard Mike shout, Dave, Dave, Dave.
And in that moment, you know, most of the Afghan guards, unfortunately, are running for their lives instead of fighting and trying to resist this uprising.
And instead of running or just freezing or just sort of collapsing in a blubbering pile or whatever, David runs towards Mike.
He pulls out his pistol.
He had a Browning pistol.
This prisoner comes towards him, firing a Makarov Russian pistol, trying to kill him.
David shoots him twice, kills him, gets to Mike.
There's all these prisoners grappling on top of Mike.
David shoots the four on top of Mike.
One, two, three, four, four, three, two, one.
He shoots each prisoner twice.
And then, you know, he's trying to establish whether Mike's alive.
He kicks Mike.
There's no movement.
There's blood on the ground.
And then at that moment, you know, I mean, there's no time to take a pulse or anything like that.
David grabs Mike's rifle because David didn't have a rifle with him that day.
So David grabs Mike's Kalashnikov and fights his way out and kills, I don't know, dozens of Al-Qaeda.
And that is why Toby Harden has written this book.
You must read it.

Tell us, Toby, after that story, what happened to David Tyson after the attempt to rescue Mike Spann?
So David managed to fight his way out of the southern compound.
He has grenades bouncing off him that don't explode.
And he was there originally with just a pistol, just to hang out?
Yes, yes.
He has Al-Qaeda fighters, some of whom are still tied up, flinging themselves at him, trying to headbutt him.
He's shooting them over his shoulder, shooting them in the head, shooting them at very close range.
I mean, at any point, he's just waiting for curtains.
I don't know what his chances of survival would have been, but...
5%?
10%?
Very slim.
So he miraculously manages to make it through the gate into the northern compound, and he makes this quick calculation.
He could have gone for the main gate, but he thought Al-Qaeda might already be there, he'd probably be killed.
So he goes to the headquarters building, which was the office complex at the top of the fort, and decides that's the place.
He knows the layout, there are lots of rooms in there, and so he runs there.
And there was a German TV crew that happened to be there that day, and they caught footage of him running across the compound with a Kalashnikov in one hand, a pistol in the other.
He's wearing this sort of amalgam of Afghan gear and American gear.
And that, in a way, when I first saw that footage in Iraq in 2004, oddly enough someone showed it to me, that was the trigger for this book.
Because I was like, what did that guy go through?
And what had taken him to that point?
Who was he?
And what's life been like for him since?
And I remember there's close-up footage when he burst into the building, and his staring eyes, you know, the thousand-yard stare, and he's just been through incredible trauma, and he's still got a lot to do.
So basically, he raises the alarm, he calls his wife in Tashkent, his wife Roseanne, who sort of drops the phone.
Eventually he sort of, you know, picks it up again, she takes the notes and calls the station chief Charlie Gilbert in Tashkent and, you know, a rescue force is organized with 20 guys from at the Turkish school in Mazar-i-Sharif.
Eight of those are Special Boat Service.
British, right?
Yeah, which was another amazing thing about the story.
The Brits were there.
One of them was a SEAL.
Steph Bass, who was a Navy SEAL, who was awarded a Navy Cross for his actions that day.
There were Green Berets.
Major Mark Mitchell was commanding it.
And there was a CIA medic called Glenn, who is still serving, who performed field amputations Oh, that's the guy who used a multi-tool to remove somebody's foot?
Yes, that's Glenn.
And the multi-tool is currently in the CIA museum.
And Glenn is still working as a medic.
It's clean, there's no blood on it.
Unlike Trotsky's ice pit, which has still got the blood on it, I think.
So, did they rescue him?
So David, after about five or six hours, he's been knocked off his feet by American airstrikes coming in.
He's shooting al-Qaeda from the roof of the headquarters building through the gateway, which was nicknamed the Fatal Funnel that day.
And he eventually manages to, he helps some of the Red Cross workers and some of the German journalists and Afghans out.
And he slips over, slipped over the back wall just as it was starting to get dark.
And they all run across this field.
One of the JDAMs misses the fort and lands pretty close to them.
This huge explosion.
Danger close.
Yes, exactly.
And he catches a taxi.
Well, he used his Kalashnikov to hail a taxi.
Taxi!
Yes.
And they're driven back to the Turkish school in Masri Sharif.
And David at this point is kind of like a gibbering wreck, you know, because all the sort of shock is hitting him.
But you know, incredible heroism and fortitude.
And David was awarded the Distinguished Intelligence Cross, which is sort of the CIA's equivalent of the Medal of Honor for his actions that day.
But you know there was still another four or five days of battle.
They had to recover Mike's body and they had to stop these Al-Qaeda fighters breaking out of that fort and retaking Mazar-e-Sharif.
Absolutely you know that is I don't know what the phrase is in radio but there's a page turner of a story that's why you have to read First Casualty.
Let's pull up back to what we discussed at the beginning.
That worked.
You know, the leveraging of the Northern Alliance, taking down the Taliban with a few hundred operators worked.
Then the whole thing changed into nation building, trying to finish the ring road that not even the Soviets managed to finish.
And then we kind of lost the plot, did we not?
Toby, talk to us about the last 20 years in terms of that worked and that didn't.
Yeah, I mean, I think in some ways, we were sort of a victim of our own success, you know, and sort of, I don't know whether you want to call it, you know, the American can do spirit, we can do anything, or hubris or arrogance or however you want to characterize it.
But I think some of the lessons of how I mean, that was very messy.
I mean, Kalajani was very messy.
A sort of fake surrender, unreliable allies, being double-crossed by al-Qaeda and the Taliban.
There was also a friendly fire incident where a 2,000 pound JDAM was dropped on a friendly position.
So there's plenty of indications of, like, this is difficult.
This is complex.
And, you know, this is not going to be any sort of cakewalk, or that was the term that was used, I think, for Iraq.
But in success, I think the policy makers in Washington were like, well, you know, we're, you know, the world's only superpower, you know, we can do this, we'll go into Iraq, you know, we'll change the regime there.
And we'll just let the sort of Afghans in the State Department sort of work out, you know, the details.
But, you know, It grew, as you said, from that limited mission into sort of nation building, you know, big army came in and huge supply, huge supply lines and massive bases and trying to refashion Afghanistan into this, you know, arguably not even really a nation, but into a sort of a democratic nation built on sort of, based on Jeffersonian ideals.
In a land of 36 languages and 400 tribes.
Right.
And you know, David, you know, who, who, you know, knows Afghans and JR, who knows Afghans better than anybody.
I mean, I've talked to them about this and David used this term, the layers of the Afghan onion.
And he had this, the complexity and things not being what they seem.
And even your allies just having a different, completely sort of different mindset, you know, hundreds of years of sort of brutality and constant sort of warfare.
And he realised, and he had this sort of realisation two or three weeks into this, before they'd even got to Mazar-e-Sharif, that he, you know, steeped in the languages and the culture of Central Asia, could spend several lifetimes trying to understand this place and it wasn't going to work.
You know really tragic I think that instead of learning the lessons of this was a limited operation where you go sort of in and out and leave the Afghans to you know fashion their own country however imperfectly we decided no we can Americanize the whole thing and we can go for broke.
Biden just left it all.
Dear friends, you know me, I'm skeptical by nature.
So when I first heard about home title theft, I was like, is this a real thing?
Can some cyber criminal really forge my name off the title of my home and take it over as a new owner?
Well, it turns out he can.
Real estate crimes and losses are rare, correct?
Wrong.
According to the FBI, this crime is growing faster than credit card fraud in America, and you are not covered by homeowners insurance or common identity theft programs.

Toby, last question.
You assiduously said, I just want to talk about the book, I don't want to talk politics.
Hopefully you won't see this as a political question.
You have interviewed dozens of people, hours, hundreds of hours of interviews.
Wokery, allegedly, You know, if you want to use that phrase, Wokery is out of control, whether it's at schools or in the military.
My buddies at BRAG complain about it.
Are you concerned, or have you heard from those you spoke to, that the capabilities that you've learned about, that these people were able to deploy 20 years ago, are they in threat?
Is the military able to still do these amazing kinds of missions?
I think they are.
I mean, I think there's a lot of stupid stuff around, and there's a lot of kind of angst about it.
And, you know, I speak to members of Team Alpha, one of whom is still serving, a couple do contracting, and I speak to lots of serving special forces people.
and they tend to be like roller eyes and you know these these things come and go but what you know this is a depressing time i think you know you mentioned the afghanistan withdrawal i mean you know you can just imagine how all the people who fought for afghanistan all the allies who helped us the liaison services i mean shannon span who you know i met
Actually, with David Tyson a couple of days ago, she's working sort of every waking hour to get Afghan allies out of Afghanistan now.
And she's devastated by what happened last August, and angry and dismayed.
And so are the members of Team Alpha.
But what I think is incredible about these people is how, rather than getting diverted into the stupid stuff, You know, they're angry and they're upset and some of them have a degree of kind of mourning.
They have to come to sort of terms with this because, you know, what did they fight for?
But instead of kind of going down the sort of the rabbit hole or into a dark place on this, they channel things into, they channel themselves into getting things done.
Yeah, something productive.
Yeah, and so the work they've been doing on getting the Afghan allies out, the work they've been doing for organisations like the Third Option Foundation, which helps not only the widows and children, families of those who have been killed, but also serving personnel.
I mean, they pay for counselling for them and, you know, all sorts of things.
So it's about keeping the fighting force fit.
So that's what these people are focused on.
And I think it, for me, it brings everything sort of full circle, because I think the spirit of 9-11, which is, you know, part of the spirit of America, that still sort of beats in their hearts.
Yeah.
And it's still there, even though there is a lot of silly stuff and ridiculous arguments and focus on things that are utterly meaningless and peripheral, it is still there.
All right, guys, we've literally just scratched the surface.
The book is First Casualty, the untold story of the CIA mission to avenge 9-11.
