Sebastian Gorka FULL SHOW: Arnold says "screw your freedoms!"
| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
The President's Office of the United States of America.
That didn't come to fruition.
So the question now is, where do they go from here?
That, the jury is still out.
But the likelihood there's going to be the Taliban overrunning everything and owning the whole country is highly unlikely.
Yeah, well, it just happened, Joe Biden.
They control the majority of the territory in Afghanistan after 20 years of war and trillions, literally multiple trillions of dollars paid for by the listeners of this show by all American taxpayers.
This is America First.
I'm Sebastian Gawker.
You're listening to the Salem Radio Network.
This year we'll see the 20th anniversary of September the 11th.
It's just around the corner.
It's hard to believe, I know.
I'm sure every single one of you listening can remember with clarity where you were on that sunny, crystal blue Tuesday morning when 3,000 Americans were killed in the space of 102 minutes.
That attack on US soil, the greatest terrorist attack in modern history, Something which the Soviet Union never, never achieved in four decades of the Cold War was masterminded by Osama Bin Laden and his organization Al-Qaeda, which means The Base.
What's the full name of the organization?
Which the mainstream media never ever mentioned.
The Base for the Holy War against the Crusaders.
Yes, that is the full name.
They didn't call themselves The Base.
It's a holy war against us, against Western civilization, against Jews, against Christians, and against Muslims, who they deem not to be Muslim enough.
A generation later, This administration, the one that is allegedly run by a man called Joe Biden who can't even speak properly, who doesn't know the entrance to the White House, who tells you he was a truck driver and how hairy his legs were when he was a lifeguard, has effected a precipitous withdrawal from Afghanistan.
That now they're having to counter with the redeployment of 3,000 of our military.
Military Who have been disgraced by this administration, by the current Secretary of Defense, who made it his mission to hunt down, quote-unquote, the enemies inside our armed forces.
Lloyd Austin, instead of making sure we could defeat people like the Taliban, or a rising China, or a resurgent Iran, or a Russia that wishes to invade its neighbors again, no.
He starts his tenure with a 60-day stand-down of all our armed services to hunt down the extremists.
Not the extremists who have any support or relation or connection to those radicals who've burnt American cities, who've killed Americans, looted and rampaged across Democrat-run municipalities like Portland, Like Baltimore?
Like Detroit?
No, no, no, no, no.
He's hunting white supremacists.
I've never met one of those, have you?
I've trained thousands, literally thousands of our military members from every branch of service.
Not once have I met somebody who I could identify as a white supremacist.
I saw people who were prepared to put the cloth of the Republic on and to go into harm's way for us.
To bleed and die for our flag.
A flag which the left thinks it is now de rigueur and cool to disrespect.
Former employee of mine, who had the national security beat at Breitbart, This morning tweeted out, what have we gained for the trillion spent in Afghanistan?
What is the end result for all the training that we did?
The lives lost, the money spent.
I'll tell you exactly what.
And this is what I responded to his tweet.
We made the Taliban stronger.
It's not hyperbole from a radio show host.
It's from somebody who actually saw the depth of the paucity of our strategy.
I was honored to visit Afghanistan just five years after 9-11.
I traveled to four different provinces to see what was going on.
And at the end of my tour of the provinces, I ended up back in Kabul at the ISAF headquarters.
Then I was taken from the ISAF, the International Security Force, to the military academy America built in Afghanistan.
And I was very impressed by the young officer who was my chaperone.
who was my briefer, straight out of Central Casting, six foot one, blonde, fit, and his name tab said Strong.
Yeah, Major Strong, believe it or not.
Major Strong briefed me, gave me the command group briefing, on the success of the Afghan Miniature Academy America had built, along with her NATO partners.
And it was really very impressive.
I mean, you know, I'm used to death by a PowerPoint having spent six and a half, seven years as a DoD civilian and then on the faculty of the Marine Corps University.
So I've seen a lot of PowerPoint presentations in the military mode, but this was a good one.
How much was invested each year?
How many NCOs?
How many officers were passed out from our training academy to become members of the Afghan National Security Forces?
But then I decided to dig a little deeper.
Not just to take the word of the official PowerPoints.
I sniffed around a little bit.
To find out what is the true impact of what we had done in that nation.
A nation that the British...
Couldn't conquer.
The Soviets couldn't conquer.
And apart from the blue-eyed, red-haired, white-skinned Afghans you find today, not even Alexander could conquer.
Yeah, they do exist.
It's really quite something to see in the middle of Herat, in the middle of Wardak province, a Caucasian redhead with colors you would see in Dublin as much as you'd see anywhere else.
What did we think we were going to achieve?
Just one metric for you.
I found out that of every passing out class, every intake of officers, junior NCOs, senior NCOs that had gone through some form of training, small unit tactics, leadership, what have you, that we had graduated.
After they received their last per diem pay, in cash of course, nice crisp green American dollars,
More than 40% of them, after they passed out from our academy, disappeared from the ranks of the ANSF, from the ranks of the Afghan National Security Forces, and went back to their tribal regions to join their local militias and their local offshoot of the Taliban.
So, to answer my friend Gordon Schachtel's tweet, what did we get for all the training?
20 years of investing in Afghanistan's military?
I'll tell you what we got.
A much more capable Taliban.
And you're witnessing it right now.
As they've gained control of almost every piece of that nation 20 years after we started fighting there.
I'm Sebastian Gawker.
This is America First.
Stay on this channel. Stay on this channel.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you. .
Thank you.
Mics are on.
Uh... Yeah.
Yeah, they're on.
I know.
Seb, you wanted to do food here?
Hey, Mr. Travis!
Yes?
You're a rock star.
I don't know about that, but I appreciate you having me on.
All right.
Tennessee, right?
What's the county?
Williamson County, which is just the county directly south of Nashville.
Okay.
All right, I've got to do a live read, going to play a clip from the meeting, and then I'm coming straight to you, okay?
Okay, I'll be good to go.
Stand by. Stand by.
Stand by.

But first, we have to talk about an amazing school board meeting from just south of Tennessee, It's Williamson County and it's somebody you might have heard from on the radio.
His name is Clay Travis.
Play cut.
Have any of you ever mandated masks for the seasonal flu?
Well, shame on you because every kid in Williamson County schools has been under more danger from the seasonal flu every year than they are for COVID.
I would tell every parent here Don't let your kids wear masks.
Reminder!
Did you hear the applause from the parents for this man?
You know who he is from Outkick.com, Rockstar, Radio Rockstar, along with our good buddy Buck Sexton every single day.
Mr. Travis, welcome back to America First.
Hey, I appreciate you having me.
Look, I can't think of another national media figure who's done what you've done at a school board meeting.
How did that happen and why did you do it, Clay?
I've got two young kids in school in the local public school just south of Nashville.
We live in a county called Williamson County, for people who know the Nashville area, that's Franklin and Brentwood.
And I was excited that my kids had finally gotten to go back to school without wearing masks.
They went to school Friday, Monday, and Tuesday without masks.
And then we heard that there was going to be a special school board meeting to allow the school board to vote on whether or not kids should have to wear masks.
There's no data to support that wearing masks makes anyone safer at all, but certainly not kids who are already at an incredibly low level of danger from COVID.
And so I went as a parent, like so many other parents out there, moms and dads, and spoke for one minute at the school board against the idea of a mask mandate being put in place.
And obviously there is a, what I would say, Crowdswell, what I'm calling a mob revolution, where people are looking at the data and saying, this is the emperor with no clothes and it's time to fight back.
And the way you do that is at a grassroots level.
So look, I've got good jobs.
I make a good living.
I love what I do.
But ultimately, my most important job is being a parent.
And I talked to my fifth grader and my first grader, and they both said, Dad, we don't want to wear masks.
Nobody wants to wear masks in our school.
And the data doesn't support that it in any way helps things.
And so I went out there and threw my two cents in as a dad, not encourage other dads and moms to do the same.
I just want to re-emphasise what you said about masks and it also applies to vaccines.
This is from an amazing interview from our friends at the Trigonometry podcast in the UK.
They were interviewing a doctor and they asked him, in the history of medicine, have we ever masked or vaccinated healthy people to protect those who are vulnerable?
No, you do that for the vulnerable people, and it is child abuse to do it to healthy children.
That's the reality of the matter.
Follow him at Clay Travis.
Clay, you called it, I loved it, at the meeting you used this phrase, the mom's revolution, or afterwards when you were interviewed.
For revolutions to succeed, they have to be sustainable.
Is this going to be sustained by the fellow parents that you are surrounded by in Tennessee?
Yes, I think it is.
And I don't think it's just here, right?
I think that where I live, Orlington County, the highest educated, highest income, most vaccinated, actually, county in all of Tennessee, you know, these are not groups that are running around not looking at data.
These are people who are using their brainpower and their educations to recognize that masks don't make sense.
Look, as the draconian authoritarianism continues to spread in a more significant fashion, Across the country, I think more and more people are waking up and realizing that we can't live in perpetual fear of COVID.
Look, I've been in this position since...
You know, April and May of last year.
But I think increasingly, more and more people are getting fed up.
And I think the other aspect of revolutions, in order for them to succeed, both time, but also people.
And I think our manpower and woman power and mom power, as I put it, is increasing every single day.
And I think it's only going to grow.
What is your expectation as one of the people who's in the fray with your own children in the schools, when they mandate masks, when they take those decisions, or when they start to segregate children based upon vaccination status or mask wearing, what are American parents going to do?
Are they just going to pull their kids out or are they going to encourage mass non-compliance?
What is your expectation?
I think you're going to see a lot of mass noncompliance.
And I just want to give some data to you, Sebastian, because I think this is important.
You know, look, everybody is opposed to death, right?
I mean, I can't believe you have to say that, but people love to say, oh, so you want everybody's grandma to die?
No, I wish we were all immortal.
I wish everybody loved ones, you know, lived forever.
But I think it's important that we have to make arguments that are grounded in data.
And since COVID began, there have been 40,396 kids under 11 die.
Under 200 of those kids under the age of 11 who have died, every one of which is a tragedy, died with COVID.
So we're talking about young kids, 99.5% of them, if they died under the age of 11, are dying of something that has nothing to do with COVID.
Why are we spending all of this time pretending that COVID is an imminent threat to children when the data tells us it's not even in the top 10 or 20, nearly, causes of death for kids under the age of 11?
I think this is significant.
I think it's important.
And I think those of us who want to make arguments against the choices that are being made have to ground our arguments in data.
Emotion is great, and I understand.
That it feels good to be angry sometimes, but ultimately I think logic trumps passion in the long run, and that's why we need data to support what we're arguing for.
So the data, over 4,000 children have died since COVID, but less than 200 were COVID deaths, is that correct?
Over 40,000 have died under the age of 11, less than 200 have died with COVID.
The facts.
Don't be a science denier.
We need more Clay Travises.

It's Ask Dr. G Anything.
It's Second Amendment Friday.
Line 1, Al, California.
How you doing, Sebastian?
Good!
Listen, I hope this is the last time, but on page 47 of Reenactment's journal it says, the American-made M1A1 carbine with folding stock, This was the SAS weapon of choice in 1944.
I need the reference!
Don't tell me on radio.
I need to write it down.
Tell Mr. G afterwards.
Give me the title, because I need that information, because that's fascinating.
The guys from Hereford using the M1 carbine.
But that's not why you rang, Al, is it?
Well, that's part of it.
The second part is, Tucker Carlson was in Hungary, Budapest, and he was having a good time.
He said, Budapest is a clean, safe city.
And he was interviewing a prime minister, and all of a sudden, Biden, our president supposedly, was calling him a thug.
And he said, why would that be?
It's for one reason only.
It's because he doesn't want people entering Hungary illegally.
Just because he wants the sovereignty of his country, Biden has turned him into a thug.
And it showed that he was... Tucker was visiting the Hungarian border patrol.
I know, I saw it.
Al, did you miss the monologue I did about the prime minister of Hungary?
I must have.
I was in the hospital yesterday, sir.
Oh, I'm sorry to hear that.
You sound full of beans right now.
Look, what Hungary has done in the last few years to stand up to the crypto-communists in Brussels, to secure their border, to recognize in their constitution that they're a Judeo-Christian nation is great.
But at the end of the day, Orbán and his party are massively corrupt.
I've known them from the inside.
I was the national security advisor to them in the 1990s.
He's a little Napoleon.
He's not a good guy.
He's done some good things.
Watch the monologue.
He is a massively corrupt politician like many people from that area.
He was a brave man once, but now he's just another swamp creature who sometimes does the right thing.
But thank you, Al.
Appreciate it.

Let's go to Todd in Atlanta, listening to our words on Afghanistan.
Line 5.
Yes, Dr. Gorka, we saw what happened when Obama pulled out of Iraq, you know, his JV team ISIS, and then Iran has a vassal state.
Do you see the same thing happening in Afghanistan?
Is this a victory for Iran, ultimately?
No, not at all.
Not at all.
There's only one province in Afghanistan that is run by Iran, and I was there.
It was shocking.
It's Herat.
You can walk down the high street in Herat and the signs are in Farsi.
It is shocking.
It's like you are in Iran.
The Taliban hate Iran.
The Taliban are supported by Pakistan, not by the Shia, but by the Sunni fundamentalists.
in neighboring Pakistan.
So, Todd, this is a massive, massive win for the theocrats in Pakistan, not in Iran.
And they met with China, too.
Didn't the Taliban meet with China?
Yeah, absolutely.
And then you have Jen Psaki saying, I don't know if we still have that cut, Jen Psaki saying yesterday, and yeah, the Taliban will have to decide upon their role in the international community.
They want to destroy the international community, you foolish!
Is she foolish?
Or just a propagandist?
Or both?
I think that's the right answer.
They don't want to be a part of the international community.
They'd love to see anybody who disagrees with them killed, decapitated, burnt alive like that Jordanian fighter pilot who was captured by ISIS.
That's what they think of the vaunted international community, Ms.
Jen Psaki.
Great question though, Todd.
It is, of course, Ask Dr. G Anything Friday.
Even movie recommendations.
I know somebody on the line who wants to talk movies always.

that I reached out to the person who was in the video and she said, yes, I'll come on your show.
And I just found out she's half Hungarian.
So that explains it all.
Annie Palombo, welcome to our millions of listeners across the nation here on America First.
Thank you so much for having me on.
All right.
So stay with us.
Don't touch your phone.
Don't touch any buttons.
I want to share with our listeners exactly what I saw last night and why I invited you on our show.
This is in Virginia Beach at the school board meeting and this is Annie Palumbo play cuts.
It's interesting to see all of you with masks now.
You're kind of social distanced.
What's the deal?
I bet you when you're in a restaurant over the weekend, you didn't have your masks on, did you?
Anyway, I was told tonight to be nice.
I find it hard to be nice when I think of my kid being able to breathe all day in school.
I would lay down my life for my child.
And when I see tyranny like this, it is my child, my choice.
Let me give you an example.
Your chairwoman, or vice chair, who isn't here today, she is very proud to be, earn the Planned Parenthood Advocates of Virginia's endorsement, access to reproductive care, to protect the rights of everybody.
So when it comes to abortion, she's okay.
My body, my choice.
But when it comes to our children, Ma'am, let's get back to... This is about masks.
Whether it's my body, my kid's body, his choice.
I'm the parent.
That's on topic.
Don't disrupt me.
You always do that.
I'm talking about masks.
I'm trying to be nice.
But stop cutting us off!
I'm serious!
This is another thing I'm going to hold up.
My child, all children have fears.
This is Beverly Anderson, posted this on her Facebook.
Quick reality check, this is intubation in case the mask seems uncomfortable.
The boogeyman that your kids worry about under the bed are the school board members that are sitting up there.
And yes, I'm pissed.
Go ahead, are you pointing for him to get me out of here?
I have First Amendment rights.
I could be angry because I have a kid who is gonna be masked all day and that is not okay.
It's his body.
I'm his parent.
I get to choose what goes on him.
The Virginia Beach school board meeting.
Annie Palumbo, who said she was trying to be nice.
Have you done that many times before?
Have you raised the fires of hell like that before?
Well, you know, I have struggled.
You know, I actually go to the Bible to make sure, you know, that's where I, it's my go-to.
And, you know, Jesus had righteous anger.
He flipped the tables in the town square.
So when it comes to abusing children, which the school board is abusing them with the numbers in our town right now and what they are doing to them, you know what?
I'm flipping the tables in the town square.
Yeah, let's be clear here, guys, okay?
Read the Bible.
Jesus wasn't a pacifist.
He said, sell everything, buy a sword, shake the dust off your feet.
He did turn over the tables of the moneylenders in the temple.
So guys, He wasn't all John Lennon, okay?
He was a little bit tougher than that as our Lord and Savior.
So tell us, what's the update?
I have no other context.
I just have that amazing video that was shared with me.
Now it's gone viral.
What's going on in Virginia Beach?
How long are you going to fight?
What's the latest?
Give us an update, Annie.
So the latest we have been fighting the school board and about right before our school board meeting, it was up to the school boards to make the decision as to whether or not the kids should be masked.
Now our school board.
There are 11 members for our very anti mask and the others are just there.
The vindictive school board.
The vindictive school board members like I had mentioned so they we knew they had.
They were going to vote already, but we had, I believe 70 speakers that night.
And at that point, it was up to them.
And I got so angry because every time we speak, they try to cut us off or kick us out.
And they tell us we're not on topic.
And even though we're talking about masks, we still have to explain, you know, what we're trying to get to.
So I just lost it because so what happened was they, the COO, so Mr. Freeman, who is the COO of the school board, had a reopening plan and he presented this reopening plan to everybody with some numbers.
So his numbers, so listen to this.
They are masking our kids in school for, we've not had any deaths since March of 2020 from the age group zero to 19.
We've only had 33 hospitalized, although any number is horrible, but no deaths.
And so when they were presenting their reopening case, Mr. Freeman had suggested that the numbers, we were putting Virginia Beach in the red zone.
And these were the numbers which are startling.
114 cases out of 100,000 people were Basically, they said had COVID.
And so that's like .00014%.
In the middle of that meeting, two of the school board members, Vicki Manning and Laura Hughes called them out and they said, Hey, we're pulling up the information from the Virginia Department of Health.
We're pulling up the information from the Virginia Department of Health.
And the numbers are really 25 cases out of 100,000 people.
So there was a lot of confusion, and they did realize and admit that their numbers were incorrect.
So we went from the red zone to the bottom of the yellow zone.
So what's going to happen?
We've got 30 seconds left.
What's going to happen if they mask your children?
What are you and the other parents going to do, Annie?
We're trying to figure that out now.
Now the governor has since mandated masks for all schools, and it's not up to the school board.
So he did that just yesterday.
All right.
Well, we want to have you back here.
We need updates and I want more Annie Palombos.
If she can do it, so can you.
It's about our children.
It is not science.
It's the denial of science and it is child abuse.
God bless you.
More power to you.
Keep doing what you do.
Thank you, Annie.

He's trying to get to the bottom of everything that happened last November.
Unlike a certain Dan Crenshaw.
How does a SEAL, he's a SEAL, right?
Or is he one of the Arf Arf Seals?
I mean, that's the question, because he's a total snowflake.
Caught one, secretly filmed at some fundraiser, the real Dan Crenshaw's crept out.
Don't kid yourself into believing that's why we lost.
It's not.
It's not!
You're wrong.
I'll tell you openly.
You're wrong.
I'll tell you.
And I'm not wrong.
Yes, you are.
Five states.
I have plenty of proof.
I have proof in Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.
I know you told me you did the Maricopa.
How did that turn out?
And guess what?
It's going to turn out and it's going to flip.
Okay, we're going to see.
You watch.
You're going to see firsthand.
It won't.
It won't.
And you've got to flip all five states to make it.
You know how they're stealing the elections?
Alright, alright.
I'm not going to do this.
I'm not going to do this.
He's right, that is.
You'll see.
Yes.
Is this something you've got to accept?
Is there a lot of voters?
He is right.
And not that Trump won?
No, absolutely not.
You'll see.
Absolutely not.
Five different states?
Yes.
Hundreds of thousands of votes?
Yes.
You're kidding yourself.
No, Dan Crenshaw, with 80 million votes mailed out, you think...
You think 100,000 is an excessive number?
With 80 million?
Has he been on the COVID diet?
I didn't even recognize him.
Dude, what have you put on?
40 pounds?
You're a rhino.
It's out of the closet.
Now we know.
Let's go to your calls.
JR on the monologue.
Afghanistan, line four.
Welcome back.
Happy Friday.
Happy Friday, Dr. G, and I love ending it on these notes.
But first of all, you have the most wonderful guests.
Clay and Annie are 100% correct.
There is a tidal wave coming, and I know that's not what I called about, but I have three military members, not including my father, who passed away.
He was infantry, Army, and four or five special forces friends.
Everybody is saying the same thing.
We love our country.
We're not happy with our leadership right now.
And four of those guys did time in Afghanistan and Iraq.
And I don't think they were just filling up trucks with gas.
Special Forces guys don't do a lot of gas filling, that's for sure.
Yes, yes.
Roger that.
But anyway, I want to leave it on a happy note.
If I could ask one more question, could I?
You got 30 seconds.
Hit me.
Okay.
What is your favorite long range rifle for a deer head?
Up to four to five hundred yards that is pretty darn accurate.
I'm old school.
I'm old school.
I grew up on the Mauser action but the British version of it.
It's called the Parker Hale.
Like the Parker Hale 1200.
I've got like four of them.
I like 308.
Somebody convinced me I now have a 6.5 Creedmoor.
Haven't even shot it.
Heard it is a beast up to out To even 800 yards.
I'll report back to you, JR, when I've tried out the Creedmoor.
Great questions!
Thank you!

There is a word, there are many words that are overused and have lost their original meaning.
One of them that really shouldn't, given the weight of what that word truly represents in the real world, is the word war.
We've seen it abused and used in ways that really are silly and undermine its true meaning.

War on poverty, even culture war.

Is that enough?
Is that enough for you defund the police democrats?
Is that enough for you BLM Antifa protesters and rioters?
How many more Americans need to die whose job it is to protect us who have been slaughtered in the line of duty?
It is a war on America's police and it has to stop.
Recall primary challenge every stinking Democrat, mayor, congressperson, local county official.
Who doesn't stand with our police?
That list is wrong.
How many statues have been built to them?
How many murals have been painted in the names of Detective Ryan Park, Sergeant Dominic Vacker?
None.
Zero.
Zilch.
Because we celebrate the criminals.
The recidivists like George Floyd.
The people who point loaded guns at the bellies of pregnant women, not the people who die to save pregnant women.
I've had enough, have you?
It's time to stand with every single police officer who has been betrayed by the Democrats and their defund the police movement.
They are martyrs to America and to your safety.

It's okay.
The watch is over for you.
We will stand in your stead.
God bless you all and give your loved ones, your orphaned children strength.
May God rest your souls.
All right.
Next up is Kurt.
Yep, he is Skype.
I'll dial him now.
You wanted to do car 15 here as well.
Colonel K, can you hear us?
I'm in the house.
Let me get down to my little place.
Sure thing, sure thing.
The mics are live on our Rumble broadcast, as always.
Well, I'm walking.
Yep.
And you're gonna hear dogs, maybe.
So we've got all those things going for us.
Yep, we hear you, and I have picture.
I'll wait until you are in your studio.
Yeah, my studio.
Yeah, it's a studio.
It's not like there's going to be anything to talk about in your area of expertise today, Colonel K. So what was the apropos of that?
I only caught the end of the Bongino interview and you only mentioned the- Oh, hang on.
He's- Oh, he hung up real quick.
Hang on.
He was sitting down and I'll call him back.
Sorry about that, guys.
No, no worries.
We still got about two and a half minutes before we go to air.
Alright.
I'm trying to figure out why this is... There it is.
I'm back.
Okay.
Yeah, we hear you and... Alright, there we go.
Video's starting.
Awesome.
There we go.
You're on screen.
Okay.
Should be set up good.
No, it looks great.
There we go.
These people are banging stuff around the house.
It's great.
At least it's no drum practice going on.
Two minutes. - Yes.
All right.
Super excited about Vindman legitimizing flip-flops.
The only thing I like about him.
Don't get me started about flip-flops.
You don't want to know why I'm wearing cargo shorts, but I am.
You and Pasovia.
It's giving me grief.
Good.
It's a cultural thing.
Yeah, it's a California thing.
My dad loved flip-flops.
He lived in flip-flops.
When it was summertime, he could rip your head off with his pinky, but he wore flip-flops.
Hey, I don't feel like I'm foot-bonded.
I want my toes to be free.
Media Matters has written a piece about the Daniel Stock thing.
Hey, I only caught the end of the interview, so what was the apropos?
He didn't even know about the book, so how did you get on the show?
Oh, he wanted me to talk about the general state of decay of the United States and the American dream, which I didn't want to get past.
I love Dan.
He's a great guy.
He is.
And I very deftly brought it back to my core.
Oh, it was very, very slickly done.
Very slickly done.
Oh, I'm smooth as silk.
I'm the Huggy Bear.
Putting my books out on the street, baby.
I love Huggy Bear.
I miss Huggy Bear.
I saw Antonio Ferragas at the Hill Street Courthouse downtown L.A.
once.
Was he in cops or was he dressed like a pimp?
Yeah, he was totally dressed like a pimp.
And he's like hanging out out front.
I'm like, huggy bear!
I think I won that trial too, I was so pumped.
Did you jump on the hood of your Torino afterwards?
Oh, I wish.
20 seconds.
Stand by.
I was always a Burt Reynolds Trans Am kind of guy.
Love it.
With the T-top.
Well, I mean, I personally drove a Mustang, but if you're talking media cars.

He's cheated on me.
It's not fair.
He's a dirty stopout.
I'm driving to the office today.
And what do I hear on the Dan Bongino show?
The dulcet, mellifluous tones of the only man to run an armed car wash.
He is, of course, Colonel K, my buddy from townhall.com, author of the latest book, The Split.
How could you do it to me, Kurt?
What can I say, Dr. Gorka?
I'm the Kamala Harris of conservative talk radio.
Oh, dear.
Behave, Colonel.
Okay, so first things first.
Huge kudos.
I mean, guys, if you don't believe me, you gotta go back, download it.
Dan Bongino, former NYPD, former Secret Service, rock star on the right.
At the end of this interview, which I only caught the end of, where, Kurt, I thought he was doing a book promotion thing.
No, Dan didn't even know Colonel K hit a new book.
He just kind of slides it in.
It was like sliding on Vaseline.
It was so smooth.
With a little bit of graphite powder on top, it was that smooth.
And then, before he finishes the interview, Dan says to his team, no joke, he takes a poll of his team and he says, I think this is the number one or number two best guest we've ever had.
No, no, no.
Correction.
I think this is the number one guest we've ever had.
Kurt Schlichter!
Congratulations!
Well done!
Well, if it's between number one and number two, in every single context, I'd rather be number one.
It was proper that you recognize my awesomeness, as you do regularly.
As both a radio guest and an author of The Split, which may or may not feature an appearance from a certain firearms-friendly radio host.
And he's not talking about Dan Boncino.
Dan will be in the next one.
I'm in this one.
Check it out.
It's called The Split.
He even pointed to his book.
If you're not watching us on video, this is how slick this armed car wash operator is.
He has two copies behind him.
Double thumbs up.
So let me ask you, since I missed the beginning of your interview, why did Dan the Man get you on his show?
What was the apropos, Kurt?
Well, you know, Dr. Gorka, I was commenting on a lot of things that are going on.
All of them serious, but usually in my own irreverent take.
One thing I can't be irreverent about is how our vets are feeling today.
I spoke to some personal friends who served in Afghanistan about themselves, about other friends who were injured, about their relatives, including sons who were injured in Afghanistan, and how they're feeling now.
I'm not big on feelings.
Typically, but you've got to be thinking of not only the Afghan people who deserve to be in your prayers, but the Americans who fought there bravely.
This is not on them, Dr. Gorka.
This is not on the foot soldiers, the company grade officers, the non-commissioned officers who went out there and wrote in blood in the history of America, you know, the great things that they did, the brave things that they did, the amazing things they did.
This is a strategic betrayal at the senior military and civilian level.
Tactical failures at the senior officer level.
On that level, it's a disgrace.
But we need to make sure that every single soldier who served bravely in Afghanistan understands not only that we appreciate them, but that they are legitimate heroes.
So let's let's continue down that thread given oh he has business I think it is Dan Bongino or it might be uh who's the guy he represented in that famous famous defamation suit oh yes Ben Shapiro by the way because he's also a lawyer and he won that case that's how good Kurt Stichter is so it's our withdrawal with our tail between our legs
The Marines, the first Marines have already landed in Afghanistan to extricate the more than, this is shocking, 3,000 people working in our embassy.
3,000 people working in the Kabul embassy.
Is this literally a redo of Vietnam?
So, Colonel Kate, Kurt Schlichter, as a former military professional, as a commentator on these issues, I've got to get your response to those neocons, neoliberals, who are now trying to convince us, the Brookings institutions, the AEIs, to double down and to send even more troops to Afghanistan.
Well, look, Mitt Romney got out there.
That's fine.
Why don't you send one of his 72 sons, none of whom served in the military?
I am sick of them squandering not only our treasure, but our blood on useless, poorly thought out military campaigns.
I was all for going in Afghanistan and regaining Unholy vengeance on the people who murdered Americans.
But then what happened, Dr. Gorka?
A complete strategic tail chase for 20 years.
You know, you taught at the War College.
I was at a party War College.
We were taught better than this.
And it's like they, you know, they left the War Colleges and forgot everything they ever learned about strategy.
It was a disaster on every level.
Ineptly executed at the highest levels, at the tactical level.
You know, these guys were as brave as anybody from Bunker Hill to Iwo Jima.
Let's stop it because this is really crucially important.
The lessons of the last 20 years is that we are peerless.
Our military When it comes to the application of military force at the tactical or even operational level, it has no match in the world, especially Operation Anaconda.
The October 2001 operation, when we went in there with just a couple of hundred CIA paramilitaries and guys from Delta and from Bragg, and we leveraged 21,000 members of the Northern Alliance, and we took down the Taliban government, That was textbook.
Nobody, not even Julius Caesar, not Napoleon could do it better.
But since then, at the strategic level, Kurt, it's been a disaster.
It's been an utter disaster, and frankly, I'm worried about the tactical level.
I'm worried that whether or not we still maintain the tactical capabilities that we need for high-intensity combat operations against peer-level competitors like the Chinese.
Especially, and I write about this in my Monday Town Hall column, Dr. Gorka, especially when you look at the Navy.
For nearly 70 years, it has glided on the legacy of You know what?
military triumphs in the Pacific Theater over the Japanese.
And we relied on, we consoled ourselves, saying, well, you know, the Chinese technology's getting better, they're getting more and more ships, but we have a naval tradition.
You know what?
So did the Carthaginians.
Okay, the Romans had no navy until they found a Carthaginian warship that had run aground, they copied it, they trained, and they beat the hell out of Carthage.
You can find Roman ruins, can't find any Carthaginian ruins.
Nope.
He is bringing us back to the real world.
He is, of course, Kurt Schlichter, Townhall.com author, author of the new book Split.
We will continue our discussion about what really matters in Central Asia here on America First on the 7 Radio Network coming to you live from the Reliefactor.com studios just outside the insolubrious and ever more fetid swamp that is Washington DC.
Don't touch that dial.
All right, so we dial you back so we can get the video.
Hello.
Um, let me put it back.
There we go.
Okay, Colonel K. So, uh, you want us to call back to re-enable video?
Yeah.
Or can we just... Oh, hang on.
He's got it back up.
Do you have a headset?
Yeah, I can get a headset.
Great.
Is that going to be better?
A little bit.
It's a little bit roomy.
It's a little bit echoey.
Mike's alive, by the way, as usual.
Alright, give me a second, I'm gonna go grab one.
Alright.
Thanks.
Hey Seb, uh, you wanted to do food here.
Mm-hmm.
And, um...
Oh, also, title for, uh...
Milius, and I assume you want to post 2A?
Mm-hmm.
What do we call it?
The War on our Police?
The War on America's Police?
I think that's... America's Police is a little more comprehensive, I think.
Okay.
War on America's police.
We need more Zen Buddhists. - Yes.
Zen Anarchists.
Sorry, yeah, yeah.
We need more Zen Anarchists.
That documentary really was so great.
I was having a blast watching it.
It was excellent.
It genuinely made me laugh at a couple of points, too.
Yeah.
All right, let's do this thing.
Oh, that's good.
That's good.
There we go.
So I can't wait to see your bump from Dan.
All right, how's that?
Excellent.
Can't wait to see the bump you get from Dan's interview.
Well, let's hope.
I haven't checked.
Let me check while I'm here.
Hold on.
Ka-ching!
That's the great thing about Amazon.
Yeah, you get it pretty much straight away.
You know, the fun thing is, Vindman had every network promoting him.
He had Schwarzenegger promoting him.
He was on The View.
He got to number two.
I got to number 42 with you and a few other people.
I didn't even know he had a book.
He does.
It's called Here, Right Matters, if you can believe it.
What?
Yes, Here, Right Matters.
I swear to God.
On purpose, he names his book that.
Who's your publisher?
For my nonfiction, it's Regnery.
No, for the fiction.
For my fiction, I do it through Amazon, and I keep all the money.
Are you serious?
You publish it yourself?
Oh, yeah.
Wow.
Oh, they won't give me enough money.
Since the beginning?
Yeah.
So what is that?
Is that a print-on-demand, or do you have to print a whole load in advance?
I can print on demand.
It's print-on-demand.
And it is also e-book.
It is technically the same.
The paperbacks are the same quality as you get from Simon & Schuster.
Wow!
And I get, you know, 70% royalties.
Blimey!
Okay, I love it.
Sold!
Why would I?
Yeah, somebody made me an offer for them.
Oh, I want to take all the books.
I was like, how much?
Told me a number.
I said, I will make that in 10 days.
That's amazing.
That's amazing.
Yeah, no one wants to buy fiction.
Really is sad.
Yeah.
I mean, unless your name is Brad Thor, who also got only about 40 more than me.
I forgot about that guy.
Didn't he run for president?
Like five years?
I think it was David French's vice presidential pick.
20 seconds.
Standby.
Standing by.
Just rumors.
I don't know.
I don't know.

Number six, correct, Kurt Schlichter?
Six!
And I think it might be the best one yet.
These are so much fun to write!
Well, yes, because you waited so long to put me in it!
Well, you saved the best for last.
You gotta make people wait.
Anticipation!
All right, guys.
You gotta check it out.
Superb, superb, superb display.
Let's talk about something that's not superb, not superb, not superb.
And that's... Sasha, don't call me Mr. Vindman and his flip-flops and his posing around with... Oh, hang on.
I've got it here.
It's Arnold Schwarzenegger.
This is radio, Kurt.
You gotta do more than give me his face.
Well, you want me to say FCC compliant, don't you?
Yes, try.
Please try to not say those seven naughty words.
Well look, I find it a massive embarrassment that a former governor of our biggest state in the union, casually dismisses freedom the way this guy does.
It shows he has a basic misunderstanding of the concept.
Maybe he needs to go back and reread his citizenship study materials because freedom is the most important thing.
I find it remarkable that I have to repeat on Twitter to the consternation of liberals that why, yes, "My rights are more important than your life and my life." Because hundreds of thousands of Americans have died for their rights.
There are always people, Dr. Gorka, who are willing to allow you to live as a serf.
They will allow you to continue to live as long as you obey them and disenfranchise yourself and give up your rights.
You will probably be able to live.
Not always.
Sometimes they'll just murder you because they want to.
If you dip your toe into liberal Twitter, you'll see that that's one of their hot fantasies.
But the fact is, rights are more important than your life.
And people say, well, you know, your rights come with responsibilities.
No, they don't.
Because they're right.
If they were privileges, maybe, but when they're rights, we, as a society, have recognized that our Creator has endowed us with certain things that are non-waverable.
No matter how good an idea you think it is for me to give them up, I never, ever have to.
And if I exercise them, I never, ever have to justify it.
Hence them being rights.
And then his posing with Vindman and giving interviews on CNN, the former governor of California, Kurt.
Oh my gosh, there's this, there's this photo of him and he's holding, you know, Vindman's holding this, this Conan sword.
And I'm just like, there we go.
This is the, this is the quintessential failed mid grade, field grade officer.
Uh, you know, the kind of mediocre, marginal performer who helped bring us to the past that we're in.
I look at that guy and I imagine the army putting him up in front of a battalion full of troops.
But of course, that never happened.
Here's how bad this guy is, Dr. Gorka.
He's so woke.
I mean, the army is so woke, yet it still looked at this guy and said, nah, we're not having him.
He stuck his boss in the back.
Brigade commanders, I don't want to walk down onto the battalion area and see him hanging from the flagpole by his undershorts.
The old flagpole wedgie.
And the fact that these people are celebrated, I mean, is this not connected to our first topic of the lack of military acumen and victory in the last 20 years, Kurt?
This is the guy.
Look, I mean, look, he served honorably as a company grade officer.
He's wounded, went to ranger school, got a CIB.
These are all good things.
Nothing to be ashamed of there.
But, you know, again, his achievement is not only betraying his boss, the president of the United States, but undermining the elected president's ability to conduct foreign policy.
The American people, who he swore to serve, chose President Reagan, for better or worse, and he's accountable of the ballot box, to make foreign policy.
But you know, this O5 decided, nah, I've got a better idea.
I'm smarter.
I'm going to do it my way.
And when it doesn't work, I'm going to pull a bunch of bureaucratic shenanigans to empower the political opposition.
It is a disgrace, it is a disgrace, although it was, um...
I think everybody's starting to see through it.
He may be Dan Bojino's favorite guest, but I've had it as a guest host here on America First.

Complacency is a weakness that patriots cannot afford.
For this reason, CAR Firearms is teaming up with America First in 2021.
CAR believes Americans shouldn't be afraid to publicly stand up for our freedoms.
This is about more than being a gun enthusiast.
This is a very personal issue, struggling for the soul of our nation.
CAR He wants America First listeners to know they are not afraid to publicly support Second Amendment Friday.
Check out their line of US-made weapons.
I carry a 9mm car.
Go to KAHR.com.
That's K-A-H-R dot com.
And now it's time for our Second Amendment guest, a guy I've been following on that thing called ScrewTube for a long time.
He is, I love his little bio on Twitter.
It says unprofessional YouTuber.
He has a thing for Soviet small arms.
His name is Brandon Herrera, but he's known as the AK guy.
Brandon, welcome to America First.
Thank you so much for having me on.
I'm kind of worried that Most people get the wrong impression with the Soviet weaponry.
Definitely not a communist by any means.
I can attest to that.
This man is not a communist by any definition of the word.
But seriously, let me, so I had this thing.
It was really shocking.
My son, big gun guy like me, he built his own AR when he was like 14.
He said, he looked at my gun collection and said, Dad, why do you have so many AKs?
And I just realized that I'm an AK.
I've got a lot of ARs as well, but, dude, the thing fires a pipsqueak round that's for vomiting.
And an AK, look, when you need to hammer some nails into the wall, you're not going to use an AR, are you, Brandon?
It's definitely got a unique something special behind it that the AR15 just doesn't.
I like the history of it, too, especially since You're from Hungary, correct?
Yes, my family escaped Hungary in the revolution, correct.
We have a ton of parts kits in the shop right now that are Hungarian-built AKs.
I hope it's not the FEG with the paratroop stock.
That is the worst stock in AK history apart from the underfolder.
Do you concur?
Pretty bad.
It's not great.
That was my first AK ever had one of those.
And I've got a soft spot for it because of that, but it's not excellent.
You're correct.
Yeah, I just ordered an FEGS-VD.
I'm very excited to get my hands on that little number in the coming weeks, and I will report to all of you listeners and viewers out there.
So tell us about your love.
Where did your love for Sergeant Kalashnikov's aftermath begin?
I started very young.
My father was always a big believer in the AK.
I was just kind of one of those where if it didn't work all the time, he didn't want anything to do with it.
So I was kind of raised on Glocks and AKs because of the rugged reliability, and it just kind of wore off on me as a kid.
And I was shooting AKs from, I don't know, the time I was eight years old.
Most kids start off with You know, 22s or something, that wasn't quite my father's style, so he instilled that in me pretty young.
I've gotten very just intimately familiar with the operating system, you know, being 12, 13, taking it apart, putting it back together, and just kind of the love grew from there.
Can I make a personal request in front of our little audience, Mr. Herrera?
Absolutely.
We need some more love for the misnamed Krinkov, a little bit more AKSU action.
Can we get that on your channel, maybe?
Absolutely.
That is one of my favorite.
Me too.
I love it.
I love it.
Even the Bulgarian Arsenal versions.
Let's cut to the chase.
Talk to us about the big project everybody always wants to know on your channel.
The .50 caliber AK you are building.
How many rounds are you up to?
I know it was 68 last time on the test fire.
When is it going to go into full score production?
Oh man, that's, well, that's the question, isn't it?
It's been a crazy ride going from You know, people saying it couldn't be done and it would explode.
Oh, well, it'll never cycle to now it's, you know, cycling, you know, single rounds now, multiple rounds.
Now we're doing magazines out of it.
I think the current prototype is up to, I don't want to miss, uh, say the wrong thing here, but I think it's 78 rounds currently.
So we're, we're, we're trucking right along.
I think we've got a couple more ideas for the next prototype that I'm really excited about, but.
You know, not to spoil too much.
We've got to leave something, got to leave the people coming back for more.
All right, follow him right now.
He's the AK guy, the AK guy on Twitter.
You got to follow him on YouTube, the AK guy 1974.
It's one of my favorite new person purchases is my Barrett, my semi-auto 50 Cal Barrett.
To have an AK in that caliber is absolutely an epic concept.
Last couple of minutes we have with you Brandon Herrera.
Talk to us about the state of the gun industry now.
Every couple of years we have the people saying the sky is falling, they're coming for our rights.
This time it could be actually the case.
Do you agree?
I absolutely do agree, but I think we're probably in a better position now than we ever have been to have a solid defense, which is really nice.
Why?
Explain.
I think that because of the unknown virus of unspecified origin that hit last year, between that and the BLM riots and things, we have more first-time gun owners than any time in the country.
And a lot of people who maybe aren't Or even conservatives, maybe they're liberal, maybe they're political moderates, were buying their first AR-15 for the first time last year.
They're buying, you know, more first-time gun owners than ever before.
And I think that's going to make it a little less politically opportune for liberal politicians to try to make gun control a talking point.
Because now people are, there are hundreds of thousands of AR-15s in the hands of people who've never had them before that are thinking, you know, a couple years ago, They would have absolutely been down for an assault weapons ban, but now they're thinking, you know, hey, I have one of those.
It's really not that scary.
What's the deal?
I think you might be right.
I think we might be in the strongest position ever.
All right.
We're almost out of time.
I'm going to put you on the spot.
I'll tell you mine first.
My favorite AK, if I could only have one of my AKs, is my Krebs Custom 7.62x39.
If you could only have one AK, Brandon, Mr. AK guy, which one is it?
Well, first off, absolutely fantastic choice.
Excellent rifle.
I think I would have to go with the Krink, as you were referring to earlier.
Interesting!
Alright, the Krink.
I know, a little compact Krink.
It's a hard choice, Krink or Krebs.
Guys, if you have no idea what I'm talking about, you've got to check out the AK guy.
Check out his YouTube channel.
Great new guest, great new product.
And also, what he has up there with that .50 cal, you've got to check it out.

Embassy, getting them out of the country.
It's being called a withdrawal, but here on the ground, this is definitely being seen as an evacuation.
And that's because this is happening against the landscape of just stunning gains for the Taliban.
Not a withdrawal, more like an evacuation, and that's from a CNN reporter.
We're gonna get to one of our callers who's been waiting for, I think, more than an hour.

It's unlucky.
I like the number 13.
It's actually Eric's favorite number.
Am I right, Eric?
That is correct.
It's my lucky number.
Yeah, my favorite numbers are, for all of those of you who've been waiting for two and a half years, the number 6 is the first one, the number 2, and then the number 13 is pretty cool, Don.
Yeah, I like 13 too.
Lucky 13.
I'm with you all the way.
You know, real quickly, I wanted, I meant to call in so I could crow a little bit about the fall of the house of Cuomo.
Go ahead, go ahead.
Did you see the video of Chris dancing really badly without a mask in a disco?
No, it's epic.
It's embarrassing.
You've got to check it out.
It's everywhere.
It's on Twitter.
So do you think he's never going to come back into politics, Don?
Well, you can never.
It's like the Jurassic Park.
Something has survived.
You can never.
These reptilian creatures, they always have a way of coming back.
But everybody should watch the original Godfather.
And tell me if Virgil the Turk's Sollozo, you know, the great character actor, late great Adelaide Cherry, you know, the guy that tried to kill the godfather.
Tell me it's not a perfect match for Andrew Cuomo.
Oh, yes, indeed.
Lots of parallels there.
Just don't, Don, don't call him Fredo, because that's like the N-word to Italians, if you're a Fredo.
Thank you, Don.

Thank you.
It is America First, one-on-one, our special opportunity to get to know our friends, our colleagues, our special guests, just that little bit better, and have a conversation that isn't your usual, oh, explain to me the intricacies of the Afghanistan withdrawal in three minutes.
That's not what we do here on America First.
And this one's really special.
And I mean it.
Not only is she a regular, a pillar of America First, every week giving us our California updates, she is, of course, also a guest host of America First.
We call her our warrior princess, Jennifer Horn.
Let me just start, Jennifer Horn, with a very simple question.
How much radio, how many hours of radio did you do just today?
Just today, I have done one, two, three, four, five, six and a half hours of radio before sitting down with you.
That's obscene.
Nobody works as hard as this lady.
Follow her right now on Twitter, at Jennifer Horn, host of The Morning Answer, and the Jen and Don show.
Follow her, listen to her, AM 590, AM 870, The Answer, also at crntalk.com.
Okay, let's start at the beginning.
You've been a trooper.
You haven't skipped a beat.
But let's find out a little bit more about how this lady, this lover of freedom and America, got to be the hardest working radio host in this, the greatest nation in the world.
So tell our millions of listeners who may just have accidentally landed on this show or caught this video in their stream, who are you and where did you come from?
I'm still trying to figure that out.
Who am I and where did I come from?
Well, you know, I was a kid that kind of was a radio... I always call myself a radio brat because my dad was very involved in the radio business in Los Angeles.
He worked for several big stations including KROQ and KFI and was always involved in the radio business.
I came along and I was like a very shy kid.
Imagine that.
Are you serious?
100% super duper shy and never really thought I wanted to be in the radio business but you know my parents split up when I was young and my dad started his own company which also was in the radio business and so I thought you know great way to spend some time with him and I didn't like to be bored as I would go in and work with him during the summer so when I was off from school I'd If you could, if this is dating me a little bit, I alphabetized our entire record library.
You mean as a shop assistant said to me, a very young shop assistant, when I mentioned CD, what did she say?
I said album and she said, oh yeah, those big black CDs.
Right.
Exactly.
They're back in style now.
I just bought a tape deck.
I just bought a tape deck.
I love that.
I love it.
You know, the person who's on that same trajectory with me is Governor Mike Huckabee.
I had the opportunity to sit down and talk with him.
He started in the radio business at 12.
He would sweep the studios, He loved music.
He's a musician.
And so it's very funny.
I was doing essentially the same thing, and I would teach myself stuff along the way.
So at like 12 years old, I started doing payroll for my dad's company.
I taught myself how to do promotions.
I would just really kind of learn pieces of the business, but never really had any desire to do the on-air thing.
Flash forward to the Northridge earthquake in 1994 and I was in high school.
My high school got destroyed during that earthquake.
It was knocked down and so they moved us.
I went to Catholic school.
They moved us across the street to the San Fernando Mission from Alamany High School in Los Angeles.
And it was very strange going to school at like a seminary because this was a seminary at the mission.
I mean, every bathroom was a boys bathroom.
It was pretty crazy.
But they brought us in and we would only go to school from 7 until 11 because they had to stagger classes.
And so I was out of school as a junior at like 11 o'clock every day.
So I started really working for my dad at that point.
And that's when I started experimenting with being on the air.
He would have me fill in for some shows.
Hang on, hang on.
What age were you filling in on radio?
What age were you?
16, 17 years old.
So he had me filling in.
He's like, you're not bad.
You're pretty good.
So every once in a while, I would fill in for him.
And meanwhile, I started going to college, but I would still work for my dad.
I was traveling a lot, doing marketing for our business, and really doing stuff way beyond the pay grade of an 18-year-old.
But I was doing it and going to college at the same time.
And one day, a few years later, someone heard me on the radio doing some fill-in stuff.
And I said, you know, I've got a nationally syndicated morning show, and I'd like to try you out.
I'm looking for a young female.
And so I tried out for a few days.
And the rest was history.
I started really loving it.
I got much more comfortable.
I took on the mantra with my shyness, fake it till you make it.
And now I feel like I'm just very naturally, well, I don't want to pat myself on the back, but kind of warm.
And I try to be as friendly as possible and outgoing, I guess, which I never would have thought.
So a complete transition.
And I was doing regular talk radio, but not necessarily so much in politics.
It was after 9-11 when I think I really got involved.
With politics specifically, I've always been a Republican from the time I could first vote for Bob Dole in the late 90s.
But I really started to get involved and I started volunteering for the George Bush campaign after the terrorist attack in 9-11.
Her motto is, fake it till you make it, and she has definitely made it.
Absolutely.
And that's why our listeners, our viewers, love her so much.
Is it true that you were in a radiophonic foursome with Ben Shapiro for a while?
Yeah, so the story kind of continues on.
You know, I'm doing this national morning show.
That was the first job that I had.
And really getting more involved in politics.
And kind of met up with our big boss here at Salem Radio by chance.
At a Christmas party for another radio station at the W.A.B.C.
Christmas party in New York.
They allow people from Salem to the W.A.B.C.
Christmas party?
What's going on?
They did that day.
Was it an intelligence mission?
Was it an undercover reconnaissance?
It was.
That's what we were doing.
We were spies.
We were wired for sound.
But it was very funny.
So I talked to our big boss here at Salem Radio, Phil Boyce, and we had a great conversation.
He said, you know, I might be looking for someone.
How far away is Glendale from your house in Los Angeles?
And so I started filling in a bit.
Now, they went into a different direction.
They have the show, a three-person show.
Alicia Krauss, Ben Shapiro, and Brian Whitman.
And unfortunately for the three of them, in 2016, none of them liked Trump.
And I really kind of, I don't want to say fell in love.
It wasn't like a romantic love, but I really saw the appeal of President Trump from that moment that he came down the escalator.
I knew he was tapping into something important.
He had this, he had this message.
He was brave enough to talk about immigration, which I hadn't seen anyone in our party do before.
And as someone who lives in California, I knew that this immigration problem was not only affecting us, but the entire country.
And he talked about it, and he wasn't afraid, and he talked in a language that people could understand.
And so I got it, and I would start talking about it on the show that I was hosting at Salem Radio, the Jen and Don show at the time.
That's where we met, Seb, through Don Dix, my partner on that program.
And so the program director at the LA station said, you know, you've been doing some fill-in here.
Why don't you come in and just temporarily be a fourth person in the room?
And so there were four of us on that morning show, and three of them Did not like Trump.
So it was a battle every morning.
So what was that like?
Describe it.
What was that like for you?
I love it.
Will you just squeak your wheel?
I get called the smiling assassin a lot by my hosts.
That's good.
Because I can argue, but I also, you know, look, I don't think anything is serious enough to lose friendships over.
I believe in human connections.
And I think that we can have disagreements, but the only way we move forward as a country and as people is if we can have important conversations and not just Speak to an echo chamber.
And so I loved those mornings, particularly with Ben Shapiro, who you know how, I mean, this guy was fun to debate.
He's a genius.
And there is still a moment that I get called about to this day.
And that was a moment when we were going back and forth.
And I said, Ben, your only other opportunity is to vote for Hillary Clinton.
Are you going to do that?
And he said yes.
And we went to a break.
Wow.
That was the moment that I still in that in that time of 2016, still get people tweeting me about sending me emails about because so many of our colleagues and talk radio were not there.
So most of the people on our station were not there with Trump for a while.
And the honest ones will come out and say, yeah, I wasn't there.
But like our friend Dennis Prager will say, I wasn't there, but I am now.
And boy, what a great president President Trump was.
But a lot of people weren't there in the beginning.
They didn't see the appeal.
They didn't see what he could offer.
They didn't think he would be effective.
And I don't know.
I just I always saw that and I knew that and I trusted that about President Trump.
And boy, he did not disappoint.
You know, flash forward a few years and it was a two-person radio show with me involved and now here we are today.
It's Jen and Grant and The Morning Answer and we're having a lot of fun.
Our ratings have never been better and I'm just, I feel blessed every single day to be able to have important conversations that might inspire people to have the same kind of conversations with their friends and neighbors because that's That's how we change people's minds.
That's how we move forward.
And it's really lucky.
We're in a great position where people tune in to hear what we think.
And that does not get lost on me any day that I wake up and get to go in front of a microphone.
What is it about Phil Boyson hiring radio talent?
He did it with you.
He's really good at it, isn't he?
He did it with you at that party at KABC.
And he did it with me at a 75th birthday party for my publisher standing there by himself looking all awkward.
And then he said, hey, do you like radio?
Uh, yes.
Would you like to do it?
Uh, okay, okay, whatever you say, strange man.
And he gives me his business card and it says Vice President of Radio for Salem.
And I put it in my pocket and I guess he wasn't joking.
So Phil, whatever you're doing, it's working.
God bless you.
Well done, Phil.
Well done, Phil.
All right.
So, Jennifer Horne, you are the hardest working person in radio.
You are the host of The Morning Answer.
You are on AM 590, AM 870, The Answer, also CRN Talk.
870 The Answer, also CRN Talk.
Let's talk about the métier, the field that we are in.
I still consider myself to be an amateur.
I've been doing this for two and a half years, although I've been a consumer of radio since I was about six years old.
Where is radio now?
It was meant to be dead a few years ago.
Rush Limbaugh created this amazing phenomenon.
We owe so much to him.
Talk to us about how radio, why radio, for example, is the only part of the culture that belongs to conservatives.
Hollywood, the media, education is gone.
Explain to those who don't get it why it's so powerful.
You know, it's really funny, because I can remember this conversation like it was yesterday, and it's been several years now, but you and I were in a car together, and we were going to the Reagan Library, and we were having this conversation.
It was right about the time that you were getting ready to start this program, and I was so taken with the visual of you as a little boy listening to that transistor radio, listening to your radio, because people who understand this medium I love it.
I don't think there is a medium on the planet, it's not social media, it's not television, that has that connection.
You're right.
I don't care what it is, not movies, not even podcasts or books on tape or TV or social media.
I can still remember that conversation, the three of us, one of us with his head between the seats in that discussion.
Unpack it for us, because you've lived it.
My answer is that radio is the most vulnerable medium.
You cannot be good at this job if you are not willing to tell people who you are, and you're going to take some criticism from time to time.
You're also going to get a lot of love, but you have to tell people who you are.
So it's a very personal, vulnerable medium when it comes to the show host.
For the listener, We get to be with the listener in their car, in their quiet moments, when they're going back and forth to work, when they're at their homes.
We're with people.
We're that voice that is with people that wakes them up in the morning, that drives with them home from work.
We're a medium that is always there.
And it's one that's accessible.
If you think that someone is full of it or if you want to call in and go, yes, I've been waiting to hear someone say this, you can call and communicate in real time with the people that you're listening to, So of all the mediums, I think it's the most accessible and it's the one that is the most vulnerable, both for the listener and for the host.
Because think about it.
I mean, I always think about my grandpa, the great Bunky Horn, who would sit in front of Larry King and Charlie Rose at night and he'd want to like, he'd be screaming stuff back at the television.
They could never hear him.
I'm breaking news!
He tried!
He tried to scream loud enough, but they could never hear him.
But in this business, in radio, specifically spoken word and conservative talk radio, we have that.
We've created like this virtual neighborhood where everybody can communicate and stay connected.
And that makes it powerful.
So for all those people who say that radio is dead, just wait.
Because with every news cycle, I live in California.
Most people know that when I come here on your show.
Seb, I do the California report.
But right now, our ratings in Talk Radio are ticking upwards in California because of the recall election of Gavin Newsom.
People want to talk about this stuff.
When Los Angeles says that you can't go visit your loved ones in the hospital unless you're vaccinated, people want to call in and talk to someone.
What can we do?
How can we mobilize?
How can we fight back?
You don't get that from TV.
You don't get that from the movies.
And certainly, you're not getting that from the internet right now.
No, no.
So it's only going to get better?
Well, I'm an optimist.
I think that it is.
A lot of people are saying that radio is dying because there are new technologies.
They're not putting radios in cars.
But, you know, we have these magic devices in our homes now, right?
The new radio is Alexa.
The new radio is your Google Home device.
So as long as radio is willing to adapt to the technology, I don't think it goes away.
It might look a little different, but it doesn't go anywhere.
Talk to us about being a radio host in California.
You really, you, your colleague Don Dix, opened my eyes to how there are still so many good patriots in California.
I came out to the Inland Empire.
You were gracious enough to ask me to speak in an event and I met really good people who care.
So what's it like for you being avowedly a conservative for six and a half hours every single day?
What's that like in California?
It can be hard.
And, you know, I don't ever like to play the gender card, but to be a female conservative on the radio in California, there aren't many of us.
And, you know, a lot of people like to marginalize conservatives in general, but marginalize female conservatives and say, oh, you're just doing what your husband tells you to do, or you poor thing, you must be misguided, or you're just one of those Bible thumpers.
You know, you get the whole gamut of things because women could not Yeah.
There are millions of people who voted for President Trump in this state.
Six million people voted for Trump in this state, more than in any other state because of our population size.
What kind of disturbs me is when it comes to the recall that we're going through with Gavin Newsom right now, this was run not only by Republicans but by Democrats and Independents who are just tired of these far-left policies.
So the dirty secret of California is that there are people out there who want to talk that may not even consider themselves to be Republicans or Conservatives but are so tired of the mix they have found their way into the audience that I have, I'm lucky enough to have in Los Angeles.
There are, the voter suppression that happens I think in the state is this lie, the secret, that there are more conservatives here than anybody wants to let on.
They tell you that there is no chance for a conservative to win office or statewide office in California because they want you to think that there's no chance.
So there's a narrative that it is hard to be a conservative in California.
But when you really get to dig in and you get to spend mornings, you know, 6 to 9 a.m.
with these people, you realize that they're there and that they're ready.
They want to be talked to.
It's really the function of the left to send out this narrative that conservatives don't exist in California because they want you to feel hopeless so that you don't turn out to vote.
This is what happened with the Christian vote, who did not turn out in 2020.
That did not turn out in 2018 because they felt that there was no shot.
That it was a system that was flawed.
And while I agree that it is, and I agree that there were some big problems in the 2020 election, in the 2018 election here in California, we can't stop trying.
We can't stop fighting.
We have to turn out each and every time.
Yeah, there is voter suppression in America but it has nothing to do with ethnic minorities.
It's the mainstream legacy lying media trying to convince conservatives everywhere.
Don't bother.
It's in the can.
Democrats have got it.
This state, that state, California, Massachusetts, you're done.
Stay at home and you are facing an uphill battle you cannot win.
That's the only voter suppression we have.
What is that new sound thing we've got?
Can you play it for me, please, Shad?
Wonka, wonka, wonka.
I love it.
The wonka, wonka, wonka.
We're going to drop it regularly.
It's from our chat yesterday with Jennifer Horne, and we're going to use it here on this and so many other things.
OK, I'm going to get liberal on you.
Can I be a fake Democrat?
Bring it on.
I'm going to do intersectionality.
I'm going to do identity politics.
OK.
You are a woman.
Last time I checked.
Oh, oh.
You are a white woman?
Yes, last time I checked.
Okay.
So, you've mentioned my old boss, DJT, as we call him in-house.
Talk to us as a conservative fighting for conservative values in California, the future of Donald Trump, the 45th President of the United States, and that mythical thing about him and white suburban women.
I don't buy it.
I just have a hard time buying it.
Look, I don't vote for someone based on Necessarily if they are going to sound flowery and lovely.
Look, we had a great order in Barack Obama.
The one thing I can say that was nice about him is that he gave a nice speech.
Sometimes it was so nice you didn't even know what he was saying.
That was probably by design.
Right.
But I need someone who is going to get something done.
Who is not going to be afraid to back away from the issues.
Who's going to get In there and shake things up.
And the reason, as a white woman, as an intersectional white woman, that I voted for Donald Trump is that he was talking about things that nobody in Washington would ever talk about.
He had a backbone.
And I could see it.
And I have seen our country starting to slip away.
And I love it.
This is why I do what I do every day.
And I know, Seb, it's why you do what you do every day.
I love this country.
And it scares me, the path that we're on, how we've started to really lose truth.
There used to be Republicans and Democrats, but we could always agree on one key set of facts, of truth, and we would just have disagreements on how to fix problems or on how to approach these things.
That doesn't exist anymore.
The left has completely eliminated truth, even in science.
We can't even rely on that anymore.
So that is gone, and that's done by design because they want to create chaos on the left to start a brand new country over again, much more in the light of a socialist or communist country.
President Trump knew that.
I could see his patriotism.
I could see that he was doing this for the right reasons because he loved this country.
I don't care if he sent out a mean tweet every once in a while.
I don't care that he said something that made me go, ugh.
Really?
In fact, I kind of laughed it off because at the end of the day, he was doing things, he was getting things done, and he was working for the people.
What billionaire have you ever seen that connected with the middle class in this country so strongly?
President Trump had that.
So when we talk about his political future, I can't tell you 100% that I think he's going to run again, but I pray every single night that he will.
Because I really believe that he is one of the only people that can save us.
And the left knew it.
That's why they tried to take him down at every turn.
That's why they lied to people to try to tell us that they had seen the evidence of Russian collusion.
They lied about all of that.
And many times, much of the storylines that they threw at him were stuff that the left was doing behind the guise of the media protection that they got, right?
Yeah.
We see President Trump who has told us a lot of stories, he's said some crazy things, but they always end up being true.
And I don't know, it scares me that our bench is so light on the Republican side.
This week, and I know you talked about it on your show, I almost went apoplectic when you see that Mitch McConnell and 19 Republicans Voted to pass infrastructure when they wouldn't do the same thing when President Trump introduced it.
And Mitch McConnell's excuse, he said this was all strategy because he wanted to pass infrastructure so that the $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill wouldn't go through.
That's not strategy.
That's like Nancy Pelosi saying she's going to pass the Health Care Act and then read what's in it.
We need fighters in Washington, D.C.
We need people in this party That have our best interests at heart, that are not just worried about their political longevity.
CNN, and you know a lot of times in talk radio, and I get excited about this, because a lot of times people say when we are speaking truth here on the radio, that they are just right wing talking points.
And I have been told many times that's just a right-wing talking point.
Right.
6,000 illegal aliens crossing the border every day.
Not true.
Right-wing talking point.
Hydroxychloroquine.
Good for people with the COVID-19 Wuhan flu.
Conservative talking point.
Right.
That's it.
Exactly.
You can't even look at the facts anymore.
And one of the right-wing talking points, I'll use air quotes here, from this week, is that this reconciliation bill is the pathway to socialism.
Well, guess what?
It is.
And it's not a right-wing talking point when the headline on CNN's website was Senate passes framework for America's transformation.
Now, what are they transforming to?
We have a country that needs to be improved every single day.
Are we perfect?
No.
But are we as close to perfect as any other country on the planet?
Absolutely.
And what Democrats have set up, and Republicans have allowed, is the pathway now, the framework to be laid out For socialism.
And there's no turning back once we go down this road.
And I know not one Republican voted for that, Seb, but they didn't stand up and fight loud enough.
We need to know at every turn what's going on here.
And one of the only people who I think has that voice loud enough to say this is not for our country is President Trump.
We miss him.
We need him back on the scene.
We do indeed.
Follow this lady, at Jennifer Horne, The Morning Answer with Jen and Grant, AM 870.
Uh, Jennifer, how is that chappy working out, uh, Grant, uh, Stinchfield, your new morning co-host?
Is he, uh, have you broken him in yet?
I've been trying to break him.
He's tough.
He came to me without training, so we've been working through it now.
We've been having a great time on the morning show.
It's a whole different thing.
I was a Republican, we had a Democrat in that position, and that was fun, a point and counterpoint show.
Grant and I agree on a lot, but there are still moments when we find our disagreement.
Oh, over what?
Give me an example.
Well, he was for filibuster.
He thought we should have blown it up.
I don't think that we should have.
I mean, I know this is war, but we have to fight now to protect the filibuster.
I think that matters.
There are certain things that we find a little disagreement on.
He wants all the police to walk off the job in the country.
And I say, wait a second.
We can't do that.
We need law and order.
We need to make it better.
Well, you know, if you've got guns and ammo at home like I have, you know, it'll be a very important lesson in the importance of the police.
I have some ammo and a gun or two at home, too.
But still, you know, I'd like to have a little bit of law and order left over.
So there's these little moments where we'll have some fun disagreement.
But all in all, we had a really great time.
And of course, there's always that different perspective on things from a male and female perspective.
You know, every once in a while he gets a little alpha on me, so I have to go, wait a second.
Well, look, he is a trucker.
He does own, what is it, like a dozen 18-wheelers, so he's a man's man for them.
He is a man's man, which I appreciate.
And our ATV host.
I mean, it's gotta be fun.
Gotta be fun.
Yeah, we don't want any, like, weenies, so it's good.
No Alexander Vindman's here, thank you.
No, no.
Need not apply.
But I have to thank you.
What people don't realize is that you introduced me to Grant, so... What do you mean?
I got him hired!
You got him hired!
Tell the world!
I know!
That's what I wanted to tell him, is that you really pushed it.
You didn't even push him.
You said, hey, talk to this guy, and it worked out.
We had instant chemistry, and it's been fantastic.
Well, he had a drive time show, I think.
Where was it?
Chicago or somewhere.
Dallas, I think, wasn't it?
Dallas.
And he was great.
And then he got on NRA TV.
Now he has his daily show on Newsmax.
And then I thought, hey, you got to have somebody on your show to co-host.
Let's try Grant out.
And it worked out.
And it's fabulous.
OK, let's go back to you.
Enough of him.
Let's go back to you.
Where do you get your value?
First things first, what was your grandfather's name?
Well, my grandfather was Charles, but we used to call him Bunky.
Bunky Horn, is that really?
Bunky Horn, okay.
I thought that was a character from, you know, some sitcom.
Because he was full of bulk.
And then his wife, who is my, oh my gosh, my grandma, you would have loved her.
Very Eastern European style, probably would have reminded you.
You're stealing my thunder.
So where do your values come from?
How much are your commitment to things that are the absolute opposite of this?
This is of course the latest.
The former Californian governor had this to say just recently.
Screw your freedom.
So that's Arnold Schwarzenegger who's saying to Americans.
Screw your freedom.
You don't believe about your freedom that it should be something that's screwed.
Where do your values come from and how much are they a function of your family background?
I think a lot of it is a function of my family background.
My grandparents, and we have talked about this too, we share a similar history.
Mine not quite as dramatic as the history that your dad and your mom lived through, Seb, but my grandparents were immigrants from Czechoslovakia.
Well, their parents were.
Actually, they were born here.
I really think that you get an appreciation when you are so new to this country, even if your family line is a few generations down.
There's an appreciation for America that I think really is taught, and it was taught by my grandparents, generation to generation.
The appreciation of freedom, but with freedom comes personal responsibility, which has been the thing in my life that has been drilled into my head.
You work hard.
My grandfather was born deaf.
Almost completely deaf, but very hard of hearing.
Wow.
So my loud voice is because of Bunky and trying to communicate with him because we'd always have to talk very clearly and concisely to him so he could hear us.
And he was told that he was stupid.
And he was told that they didn't know he was deaf.
They just thought that he couldn't hear.
They just thought that he wasn't catching the lessons in school.
And it took my grandmother to come along to say, wait a second, you can't hear anything.
And so my grandfather was one of the smartest people that I know that was really...
He, not to use his word again, but he was marginalized even by his parents because they just didn't understand that he had this disability.
And so he overcame so much.
He provided for my grandmother, my dad, and my uncle.
He set up a life for them.
They moved to California because that was the land of opportunity.
They left Chicago and they thought California was the place, built a house.
And so I've always taught hard work.
Commitment, loyalty, and pride to your country.
Now, my mom has a much different path.
She came from a fully... And my grandparents, by the way, were Kennedy Democrats.
Wow.
They were not Republicans.
My dad would have married my mom.
Yeah, but Kennedy wouldn't be allowed in the Democrat Party today.
No way!
The days of Kennedy Democrats are gone.
There are no moderate Democrats left anymore.
They are all socialists.
And if they don't tell you that, they're lying to you.
Because it's truly where the party is now.
It's not even headed in that direction.
This whole 3.5 trillion, that's an embrace of the socialist policy.
So the Democrat Party today is a party of socialists.
My mom is a member of that party.
She came from a strictly conservative family.
My grandparents on her side from North Carolina, very conservative, conservative principles.
That's where that's where a lot of my base, I think, in conservatism came from.
But when my parents got married, they switched roles.
My mom was a Republican, became a Democrat.
My dad was a Democrat, became a Republican.
And so I was always gone.
I was always going between them because obviously they were both trying to influence me a bit.
But I understood the value of personal liberties and freedoms, of the conservative values about not letting the government interfere, about taking control of your own destiny, about doing better than your parents did.
That was really pushed, I think, into my life, into my head, and into my heart by my dad's side of the family.
And so even though they started out as Democrats, they ended up voting Republicans, and that's That's kind of, I think, where my principles came from.
Less government, more freedom.
And that's the atrocity that's being committed right now.
It's very possible that as an unvaccinated person, I will not be able to do anything in the city that I live in, in a couple of weeks.
The City Council and the Board of Supervisors are looking to create these vaccine mandates.
We're putting masks on our children.
We're not letting anybody decide what's appropriate for them.
We are not even talking about antibodies and natural immunity, both for the vaccinated and the unvaccinated.
So I really can't think that we are serious about doing anything but controlling people at this point.
It's not about keeping people well.
It's about taking away people's personal freedoms, and that is to drive conservative principles out of America.
But you remain an optimist at heart, Jennifer Horne.
A hundred percent.
I believe in the spirit of the American people and I've seen it here in my own state of California.
I saw the fight that my grandparents had in coming here and starting a life for themselves with their parents.
I see the fight of people in California who were written off by most of the country saying, well that's just crazy California, who cares what they do?
Well, we're fighting back.
We're recalling not only Gavin Newsom, But members of local city councils, DA's offices, we are fighting.
Because people, when they get pushed to the brink, they are still American down there deep.
No matter how much they try to take it from us.
And I believe in our spirit.
I believe in our country.
I believe that we can push back.
But we have to take the initiative and we can't get complacent anymore.
Now is the time.
Alright, so here's the big question for Jennifer Horne.
Can we take back California?
You know, it is, it's possible.
Cause I have to say, you know, and I've said, I've admitted this on the show without you listening.
I'm always listening.
Oh, there you go.
Like Jeff, she's always listening.
I used to make fun of California.
I know.
I used to call it the People's Republic.
I know.
And it's only because of you, your colleague Don, and because of the people you introduced me to when I came there, what was it, two, three years ago, that I said, you know what?
Something's happening here, and there's still some good people who want to fight.
So I stopped using that phrase because of, thanks to what you did to open my eyes.
How good can it be?
Can we take it back?
I think, yeah.
I think the answer is yes.
I think it is going to be hard.
I don't think that California is ever going to be maybe a Republican majority state, at least in the foreseeable future.
But there's so many glimmers of hope that when we say take it back, if we can get better than we are today, We're going to be creating a win.
And what's really great about what's happening in our state is that it sends a narrative across the country.
Gavin Newsom has been saying, if you recall me, you're going to put Democrats in a bad position in 2024.
And you're going to put him in a bad position in 2022.
And you know what?
He's right.
This is why I've been so supportive of the recall.
I don't care who replaces him.
I want to see the recall because It's going to say that in California, when you push these socialist policies, we fight back.
We're the petri dish of the nation to float these policies, to develop them.
Joe Biden rolls them out, and this recall creates a really hard thing to explain.
To Democrats across the country for able to pull this off, even just the process of having the recall is already bad PR for them.
But you're seeing glimmers of hope there.
You're seeing school districts now fighting off critical race theory.
Paso Robles was the most recent in central California.
They outlawed critical race theory.
It is a slow process but people are waking up.
Parents are waking up because they pushed kids to go back home for school for a year and now parents are awake to the curriculum of the kids and they are pushing back in school districts across the state.
They are pushing back in local offices.
They are doing these recalls for the DA.
So do I see glimmers of hope?
Yes.
Do I think it's going to be You know, we're going to be run by Republicans by next year?
No.
But I do think, incrementally, we can start to take back the state.
And that starts in local government.
It starts with the school districts.
And I'm really encouraged by the fight that I'm seeing amongst California parents.
And it's not just Republicans.
It is Independents and Democrats who are just sane thinkers in the state who are pulling and pushing back, finally.
The boomerang went too far.
Or let me ask the impolitic question.
What about the GOP?
The left's gonna do what the left's gonna do.
We have to fight them, but right now isn't the biggest obstacle.
The get-along, go-along-to-get-along, don't-really-wanna-change-anything swamp creatures who have the letter R behind their name.
I told you this about a year ago.
I think that they're going to slowly get voted out.
I really do feel that people know.
President Trump, whether you love him or hate him, he woke people up to a lot of stuff.
He woke people up to a lot of problems.
Things that the Democrats never had to explain before.
The left, I don't even want to say Democrats anymore, but the left never had to explain.
They were just running.
Rampant in schools, in local governments, at the city council level.
President Trump woke us up.
And so we're fighting back in California, but I do believe that these go-get-along, go-along Republicans like, you know, we can start naming them, but the, you know, the Liz Cheney's of the world, the Adam Kinzinger's.
Well, it's worse than that.
It's the Mitch McConnell's.
The Mitch McConnell's.
I do think at some point they're either going to age out or they are going to be replaced slowly.
But surely.
And, you know, we need stronger candidates.
We need people who are a little bit younger, who are maybe not in politics and don't want to do it forever, that are business people, that will get involved and go out there and run.
Because that is the heart and soul.
of the party that we want to create.
The Republican Party isn't what we want it to be right now.
We know that.
But I think it can be rebuilt if we take conservative principles, if we get good, strong people who can go out there and fight, and who are not in it to be Mitch McConnell and just live in Washington, D.C.
his whole life.
Yeah.
All right.
Last important question that I often ask our guests here.
What is your message to those who consider themselves to be conservatives but who have allowed themselves to be intimidated and are censoring themselves and not speaking out on the values that they say they hold?
I get it.
I totally get it.
But the time to be shy is over.
I mean, it's just over.
I mean, maybe we started with fake it till you make it.
You have to not be afraid to have the conversations.
And I get it in California.
I have had friends who have been followed and harassed in a supermarket.
I have had friends who have had their cars, their paint, you know, their cars keyed, their paint scratched by people who have seen them wearing Trump hats.
I understand.
That the left can be mean, they can be intimidating, and they can try to hit you where you are because that's what they've been told to do by the leadership of their party, the Maxine Waters of the world.
But we have to speak out.
You don't have to be mean-spirited.
You don't have to be confrontational.
But please tell people who you are and why you think the way you do.
Because if you can go out there and in a friendly, happy warrior kind of way explain yourself to your friends and your neighbors, you might change their mind.
And I still believe That it is not up to the party.
It's not up to any elected official.
It's not up to President Trump.
It is up to us.
One person at a time.
We have to talk to people in our churches, at our kids' schools, in the grocery store.
And again, it doesn't have to be confrontational.
But you have to tell people why you think the way you do.
Explain it to them.
Because so oftentimes, it is a... We like broad things, right?
We like black or white.
We like team sports.
And you're either one way or you're not.
If you can take away the labels and talk to people about critical race theory, talk to people about school curriculum, talk to people about crime, find that commonality and tell people why you believe the way you do, why you follow your conservative principles, you will make change.
And that is what saves the country.
Forget the party.
That's what saves the party, and that is the best thing we can do to combat the left.
Beautiful closing words.
It's not about a party.
It's about a nation.
It's about the greatest nation on God's Earth.
