Time Text
In the past several months, disturbing videos of people suddenly collapsing onto the ground reappeared on Chinese social media, resembling the cases seen in Wuhan and other Chinese cities during China's first wave of the CCP virus last year.
The latest incidents occurred in Langfang City, one of the hard-hit areas in northern China's Hebei province.
A January 11th video shows a person lying unresponsive on the ground at a COVID-19 test site, close to a long line of residents, who were waiting to be tested.
Three first-aiders in protective suits tried cardiopulmonary resuscitation, CPR, on the patient.
Another case occurred in Wangkui County, in northeastern China's Heilongjiang Province, on December 25th, 2020.
In that video, a person suddenly collapsed on the street outside a police security post near the entrance to a residential community.
Because there were no reports about any local COVID-19 cases at the time, onlookers did not associate the incident with the CCP virus.
It was until two weeks later on January 9th that numerous cases of the CCP virus began to erupt visibly, making the county one of China's hotspots for COVID-19.
The sudden collapses sparked concerns.
They are tied to the CCP virus.
Similar cases were reported by Chinese netizens from Hebei, Anhui, Heilongjiang, Sichuan, Jilin, and Guangdong provinces, as well as in the metropolises of Chongqing and Beijing since the outbreak of the CCP virus in late 2019.
Most of these cases occurred during the first half of the year.
As of press time, there have been no reports of such dreadful incidents on China's state media at all.
In addition, China's National Health Commission didn't seem to include any of these incidents in its COVID-19 death toll.
The organization reported only one COVID-19 death recently on January 13, and the previous reported death was in Jidin province on May 16, 2020.
That is, during the eight-month span between these two cases, Chinese authorities claimed there were zero COVID-19 deaths in the country.
Although the CCP virus has been wreaking havoc around the global, as of today, China and Iran are the only two countries where horrible incidents of sudden collapses have been reported, mostly through unofficial channels.
It is very strange that no other countries have yet to observe such a zombie land scene.
