| Good evening. | |
| Today, I want us to focus our discussion on something a little different. | |
| I want to talk about the four-year-long campaign to undermine President Trump. | |
| Because what's happening right now with the 2020 election, this mainstream effort to force the president to concede the election before it's been officially called is not an isolated incident. | |
| Instead, the more accurate way to look at it is that it is the culmination of a four-year-long effort to undermine his presidency. | |
| This is your 2020 election update, and I'm your host, Roman from the Epoch Times. | |
| This all started back in 2016, when the FBI launched their politically motivated investigation into the Trump campaign. | |
| And from then on, in the ensuing four years, they have continued their efforts to remove him from office, first through the Russian collusion narrative, then through impeachment, and now through this effort that we're seeing today to force him to concede the election. | |
| It's this campaign in its entirety, which the Epoch Times recently called on their front page, the four-year war against Trump. | |
| Now, this was a phenomenal investigation. | |
| And what you might find interesting about this is that it's not a partisan issue, because it's not only an assault on President Trump. | |
| Instead, it was an assault on the office of the presidency, and along with that, it was an assault on the very foundations of America. | |
| And if you think I'm exaggerating, well stick around and let's go through the details together. | |
| Let's start with what's known as Operation Crossfire Hurricane. | |
| Under the Obama administration, the FBI, back in 2016, launched their politically motivated investigation of the Trump campaign. | |
| Now, no matter how these organizations or how the press tries to spin it, based on the actual publicly available information that we all have access to, we know that the investigation was started based on unbelievably thin evidence. | |
| Basically, a junior Trump campaign adviser made some remarks to an Australian ambassador in London. | |
| That's it. | |
| That's what the public was told, at least. | |
| But in reality, the investigation relied almost exclusively on the discredited Steele dossier, which was paid for by the Clinton campaign and the DNC. And what was the result of all this? | |
| Well, while the FBI's Crossfire Hurricane investigation didn't actually find any evidence of Trump-Russia collusion, the damage was still very grave. | |
| That's because these investigations, including the continuous leaks to the media, created the public narrative That Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election, which to this day, people still believe in. | |
| I mean, I was in North Carolina just a few weeks ago, a few weeks before the election, and I interviewed one guy, and he still believed that Trump colluded with Russia. | |
| And he's not alone. | |
| There are millions of people across this country who still think this way. | |
| They still think that Trump colluded with Russia to win the election. | |
| Basically, this whole collusion narrative cast a dark shadow over the first two, maybe even three years of Trump's presidency, and constrained his actions both domestically and internationally. | |
| It basically handcuffed the man's hands, the man who was duly elected as President of the United States. | |
| It stopped him from doing what he was democratically elected to do. | |
| And it just continued from there. | |
| Operation Crossfire Hurricane eventually transitioned into the Mueller Special Counsel investigation, Which ultimately also concluded in their final report that there was no evidence to support the whole Russian collusion claim. | |
| But that was only after a nearly two-year-long investigation, which gave the media and Trump's political opponents the leeway to portray Trump as an illegitimate president because of his supposed affiliation with Russia. | |
| And this is probably the perfect segue to discuss the media. | |
| One of the most powerful forces working against Trump during his presidency has been the news media in this country. | |
| Over the past five years now, they have relentlessly published skewed and inaccurate information about Trump, while at the same time minimizing, downplaying, or altogether ignoring his accomplishments. | |
| The media seeks to portray him as basically an illegitimate president. | |
| And here's what happens. | |
| All of these different anti-Trump elements begin to work in conjunction with one another. | |
| For example, the federal government is staffed with hundreds of thousands of employees, and many of them have been led by the false information published by the media organizations in this country to think that it's not only okay, but even righteous, to undermine the Trump presidency. | |
| And I mean, it's no secret that many of the career officials inside of the U.S. government have actively sought to either undermine or even openly work against President Trump. | |
| They likely think that they are putting the interests of the country first, But in fact, they have actually done this country a great disservice by blocking and obstructing a rightfully elected president from executing the will of the people. | |
| Among other things, as you've seen if you've been following the media, there have been constant leaks from inside of the Trump administration, some of which are even illegal, but they're still published by the news media without any hesitation. | |
| And this then feeds this never-ending cycle, because these leaks then go back and reinforce the narrative that Trump is an illegitimate president. | |
| And so what's been the result of all this? | |
| Well, if you live in America, you already know, this type of media situation has created a climate of anger, hate, and instability in this country. | |
| It has resulted in threats and an unbelievable level of hatred towards and even violence against those who support the president. | |
| It has allowed left-wing extremist groups like Antifa to riot and destroy cities throughout the country, to attack people, to destroy businesses, homes. | |
| Basically anything. | |
| I mean, these are literally a collection of avowed Marxists running around our streets who seek to overthrow the American government, foment revolution, and take down Trump. | |
| They use the tactic of being anti-fascist to basically attack anyone they disagree with. | |
| And again, in this never-ending cycle of reinforcement, these left-wing organizations are pretty much exempt from any scrutiny by the media. | |
| Even as they attack people, as self-described Antifa members have killed supporters of President Trump, as they have created a culture of fear in this country. | |
| And yet what happens when you turn on the nightly news? | |
| Crickets. | |
| Instead, you hear about things like impeachment, in which the Democrats attempted to remove President Trump from office because he attempted to investigate very legitimate concerns that American taxpayer money was being misused in Ukraine. | |
| Their claim, of course, was that he can't investigate Joe Biden because he's a political candidate. | |
| But that's at the same time pretty much what they did to Trump back in 2016 when they investigated him with the Crossfire Hurricane FBI investigation. | |
| I mean, there are so many more details than this, but what it ultimately comes down to is this. | |
| The entire last four years have been one manufacture crisis after another, and they're all designed with one purpose in mind, to take down President Trump. | |
| This most recent effort to force President Trump to concede the 2020 election, when there are still credible allegations of voter fraud and voter irregularities coming forth seemingly every single day, When there are still active recounts, audits, canvases, and lawsuits in enough states to swing the result is just the latest in this string of events. | |
| It's not an anomaly. | |
| It's not random that the media right now has one uniform voice which claims that Joe Biden is the winner and that Trump should concede. | |
| It's not a coincidence that the media in one uniform voice is tarring and feathering anyone who dares to question the security of voter machines. | |
| Seen in its proper context, this is just the latest in a four-year-long campaign to take down President Trump. | |

| We also went downtown and filmed the devastating effects that all this was having on local businesses, which are mostly boarded up now. | |
