Now here we are, a full ten days after the election, with six states still up in the air, with legal challenges, audits, and recounts underway.
And yet those same legacy media outlets and giant tech conglomerates that told us to wait weeks before calling the election have themselves universally called the election for Joe Biden and are now looking like they're actively suppressing any meaningful discussion of what's really happening on the ground.
It's kind of weird.
This is your 2020 election update, and I'm your host, Roman from the Epoch Times.
So the six states that are still in play are Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada, and Arizona.
Let's begin our discussion with Georgia, which just yesterday officially ordered a total recount of the votes by hand.
And just as an aside, speaking of counts, it seems like YouTube might be suppressing videos like this that are talking about the election.
And so people have actually messaged me saying that no matter how many times they click the like button below this video, the like count does not seem to move up.
So I would implore you to take a second to not just hit, but smash that like button that's below this video.
That way, if the YouTube algorithm is still working somewhat properly, this video can potentially be shown to thousands of more people.
Now, back to Georgia.
With the current numbers that we're seeing from the initial count, Joe Biden is in the lead by about 14,000 votes, which is a super, super slim margin and a difference of only about 0.25%, which is grounds for a recount in Georgia.
Now, how serious is Georgia about this recount?
Well, during a press conference, a reporter mentioned to Georgia's Secretary of State that in previous audits, instead of doing a total recount, only a sample of ballots were reexamined for validity.
However, Georgia's Secretary of State responded by saying, So obviously, officials there are taking this very seriously, and this recount comes in the midst of allegations of voter fraud, mismanagement, and irregularities by the Trump campaign in the Georgia election.
Now, according to Georgia state law, the Secretary of State has to certify the election either way by November 20th, which is eight days from now.
So over the next week, there will likely be very, very intense vote recounting in Georgia and will keep you abreast of any developments as they emerge.
Now, besides Georgia, Wisconsin is also headed for a recount.
According to Wisconsin state law, a trailing candidate is allowed to seek a recount if the margin of the race is within one percentage point.
And right now, the race in Wisconsin is well within that range.
Joe Biden is showing just a 20,000-vote lead over President Trump, which is about a 0.6% difference.
The Trump campaign has already taken the steps for a recount last week.
But since then, we actually haven't heard any updates.
We're assuming it's moving forward, and as soon as we'll hear anything about it, we'll let you know right away.
However, besides the recount, Wisconsin State Assembly Speaker, a man named Robin Voss, directed the election committee to quote, immediately review how the election was administered, citing concerns of mail-in ballot dumps and voting fraud.
Now we'll keep you abreast of this review as well, although if you want to read about the initial findings, we'll put the link to the article in the description box below this video.
Now let's move our discussion over to Michigan.
Yesterday I read a report that I almost could not believe and I had to read it twice just to make sure I was understanding it correctly.
This report compared the census data in Michigan with their voter registration data, and it concluded that there are 240,000 more registered voters in Michigan than there are people who are over the age of 18.
And of course, not everyone who is over the age of 18 can vote.
I mean, that doesn't even take into account immigrants who have not yet been naturalized into U.S. citizens yet.
And by the way, this problem is not confined to just Michigan.
There was research conducted by a government watchdog, an organization called Judicial Watch, that was published back in September, and they allege that over 300 counties spread across 29 different states have voter registration rates that exceed 100%.
Meaning that they have more registered voters than people who are eligible to vote.
And once they counted all those people up, the discrepancy accounted for 1.8 million more registered voters.
Now, that was, of course, across all of the U.S. But if we go back into Michigan, this discrepancy is far from the only voter irregularity there.
Just yesterday, the White House press secretary announced that she has 234 pages of what she said were sworn affidavits alleging election irregularities in Wayne County.
That's in Michigan.
Now, of course, these are just allegations, but keep in mind, these were sworn affidavits, meaning they were statements made under penalty of perjury.
So in my opinion, they should be given serious consideration because these witnesses are basically saying that this statement is true, this is what I saw, and if I am caught lying, I understand that I will be sent to federal prison.
That's what a sworn affidavit is.
So what kind of allegations were found in these affidavits?
Well, according to the White House Press Secretary, here's what she said.
And then she later went on to say, We don't have the affidavits in hand yet, but once we do, we'll share them with you for sure.
Until then, we'll put the links to the articles about Michigan in the description box below this video if you want to delve deeper into them yourself.
Now going over to Pennsylvania, yesterday Rudy Giuliani, who is of course the former mayor of New York City as well as one of President Trump's personal lawyers, He alleged that roughly 650,000 unlawful ballots were cast in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
Now, what does it mean that they were unlawful exactly?
Well, he stated that almost none of them, none of these hundreds of thousands of ballots, were observed by Republican poll watchers, which in Pennsylvania, according to their state law, they require the presence of poll watchers from both parties.
He alleged that while mail-in ballots were being counted, Republican observers were either kept out of the room or kept away from the room for a period of 24 hours.
And even though a court order allowed the poll observers to move six feet closer, according to Giuliani, the Democrat machine people moved the counting place six feet further away, and that this was documented on videotape as well as by upwards of 50 witnesses.
And so right now, the Trump campaign has a lawsuit in federal court seeking an injunction that blocks Pennsylvania from certifying the result of the 2020 election, alleging that state election officials had mismanaged the election process and that the counting process was shrouded in secrecy.
Now, we'll keep you abreast of these developments as they're coming about, and we'll throw the links to Pennsylvania's articles in the description box below this video for you to get into yourself.
Now, going over to Arizona, with about 98% of the results in, Joe Biden is leading President Trump by about 10,000 votes, which is, of course, a razor-thin margin.
That's getting close to the mandatory recount limit in Arizona, which is 0.1%.
Earlier today, President Trump pressed for an audit in Arizona, saying that, quote, If we can audit the total votes cast, we will easily win in Arizona also.
Now, why might that be the case?
Well, among other reasons that he might be citing, the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee filed a lawsuit in Arizona claiming that Maricopa County, which is the biggest county in Arizona, something like 60-61% of people live there, officials inappropriately rejected ballots that were cast by in-person voters.
Now, the details of this lawsuit are a little bit technical.
It has to do with the way that the poll workers handled overvoting, as well as how they handled the vote tabulation machines.
So if you're interested in learning about the details of that, we'll throw the link in the description box below this video so that you can read up on it yourself.
Otherwise, we'll keep you abreast of any developments in what's happening with Arizona's electoral votes.
I spend most of my day looking into what's happening in this election state by state.
Sometimes, to be honest with you, I'm just overwhelmed by the sheer amount of news that's coming out on a daily basis, not only in the six states that are still up in the air, but across the entire country.
And so in the coming videos, this is what I'm going to do.
I'm going to dive deeper into individual states.
Because, for instance, if we're going to talk about, let's say, Pennsylvania or Michigan, there are so many things happening there, so many allegations of voter irregularities.
And if I want to share all of them with you, it's hard to go deep into any individual states while talking more broadly as well.
So over the next couple of days, look out for more in-depth, state-specific videos.
Also, if you are interested in keeping yourself up to date with everything that's happening, I would recommend going over to The Epoch Times' homepage.
And right there at the top, we have the pictures of the six states that are still in play, and if you click on any one of them, you can read about all of the latest news that's happening there.
Now, I want to end this video by reminding you that the media in this country do not decide presidential elections.
That's the role of the Electoral College.
And right now, as of today, not only has Joe Biden not been certified as the winner of any single state, but enough electoral votes are still in play to make this election a toss-up, even today, on November 12th, 10 days after the election.
And in my opinion, the media is being unbelievably irresponsible to call this election as they have.
And until all of the legal challenges are resolved, until all of the audits and recounts are finished, we here at the Epoch Times will not be calling this election.
Instead, we're going to continue reporting the facts as honestly and as accurately as we can.
And I hope that you will continue to tune in, because right now, what this republic needs more than anything else are informed citizens who are fully grounded in facts.
And lastly, if you haven't already, smash that like button for the YouTube algorithm so this video can be shared to thousands of more people.
