BREAKING: InfoWars SOLD to Evil Leftists as Courts PUNISH Alex Jones

The Onion Acquires Infowars Amidst Free Speech Controversy In a shocking turn of events, The Onion, known for its satirical content, has acquired Infowars during a bankruptcy auction. Alex Jones, Infowars' founder, announced the sale on X, decrying it as an unauthorized shutdown of his platform. Jones suggested that the acquisition by The Onion, in partnership with the Sandy Hook families, is part of a political move by "Connecticut Democrats." The Onion plans to transform Infowars into a humor-centric website, potentially sidelining its role as a voice for alternative narratives against mainstream media. Critics see this as an assault on free speech, especially given Infowars' history of challenging establishment views. This development follows Jones' bankruptcy filing in 2022, prompted by hefty defamation lawsuits from Sandy Hook families, resulting in nearly $1.5 billion in judgments. The final sale price remains undisclosed, but the acquisition has sparked debate over the future of independent media and free expression. Justin from slightlyoffensive.com.
The onion has officially acquired InfoWars in an unprecedented move.
The CEO of The Onion, Ben Collins, released a statement on X this morning saying, We're planning on making a very stupid website.
And he confirmed that InfoWars was bought in partnership with the Sandy Hook families.
It's ironic because when I think about The Onion, I mean, that's already one of the stupidest websites.
And I can't think of any satirical website that's been completely destroyed by far-left wokeism than that website directly.
Let's talk about the story.
Dallas Ludlam Reports.
In an unprecedented and surprising and controversial twist, The Onion, a satirical news site, has won the bankruptcy auction for Infowars, the influential media platform built by Alex Jones.
Known for challenging mainstream narratives and tackling issues from government overreach to big tech censorship, Infowars has long been a hub for free speech advocates and alternative voices.
Alex Jones announced the sale on X, formerly Twitter Thursday morning, sounding the alarm about what he called an unauthorized clampdown on his media operation.
Quote, just got word 15 minutes ago that my lawyers and folks met with the U.S. trustee over our bankruptcy this morning, Jones said, alleging that they said that they are shutting us down even without a court order this morning.
He later tweeted that this is the last broadcast now live from InfoWars Studios.
They are in the building, are ordering the shutdown without court approval.
Alex Jones wrote this directly on X. Make sure you follow him, Real Alex Jones, on his X account.
You've got to keep up with this.
Because remember, you know, it's not that InfoWars means anything.
It's more or less who Alex is.
And we also have to point out that the amazing work of the production team that comes alongside of him and also one of his co-hosts and the infamous Owen Schroyer, who absolutely nails it every single time with incredible feedback, incredible commentary, and even original reporting.
That guy's got some balls on him.
We got to give him credit where credit's due.
Now, that being said, Jones also claimed that The Onion purchased InfoWars with the intent of overhauling the brand.
The Connecticut Democrats with The Onion newspaper bought us, he posted, suggesting that the acquisition aligns with a broader political agenda.
While the details of the auction, including final price offered for free speech systems, the parent company of InfoWars remain undisclosed.
Sources indicate that The Onion plans to repurpose the platform entirely, potentially sidelining the original mission to push back against establishment narratives and corporate media bias.
The new owners reportedly intend to rebuild Infowars with comedic content from prominent online humorists and satirists.
The CEO of The Onion, Ben Collins, released a statement on X this morning saying, We're planning on making a very stupid website.
And he confirmed that InfoWars was bought in partnership with Sandy Hook families.
See his full statement.
We can watch it where it's at below.
He said here directly on X, Hello, The Onion, with the help of Sandy Hook Families, has purchased InfoWars.
We're planning on making a very stupid website.
We've retained some Onion and Click Hall of Far famers to pull it off.
I can't wait to show you what we've cooked up.
Well, I can tell you this: Collins is a stupid bitch.
And to write something like this and to think that it's going to be successful, I have one word for you.
I hope that InfoWars relaunch is just as successful as Project Veritas was after they cooed and kicked out James O'Keefe, which means I hope it's doomed to failure.
It's pretty remarkable here that as we talk about this, that people don't see that this is political targeting.
This is absolute travesty to free speech.
And this is proof that Alex Jones was right all along.
I mean, are we really going to sit here and say that as he said the deep state was trying to shut him down?
That we're not seeing that they actually shut him down.
But he's not going anywhere.
Now, I want to remind you guys of something very important as we talk about this note.
We are demonetized on YouTube, and we don't have Google ads or anything.

Now, that being said, in addition to the article, here's what it said.
For Jones supporters, the takeover signals an unsettling attempt to silence alternative voices.
Since its inception, InfoWars has tackled issues and perspectives often ignored or dismissed by mainstream outlets.
From questioning official accounts on global events to amplifying overlooked issues affecting average Americans, critics of the auction argue sidelining Infowars in favor of a humor-driven platform is not only a loss for free speech, but a troubling reflection of institutional control over independent media.
Alex Jones had a word to say or two about this.
Listen to his response directly as he explains, InfoWars will not be silenced.
Watch.
alex jones
Ladies and gentlemen, it is 7.50 right now.
I'm about to upload this to X.
I just got word 15 minutes ago that my lawyers and folks met with the U.S. trustee over our bankruptcy this morning, and they said they're shutting us down even without a court order.
This morning, the Connecticut Democrats with the Onion newspaper bought us.
They asked, did they outbid?
They said, well, it was competitive.
So they changed all the bidding rules, made it secret two days ago.
I had a bad feeling I told you that.
And just like they tried to shut us down back in late May without a court order, they're supposed to have a court order.
There's going to be injunctions filed.
I'm about to go live out of Harrison's American Journal studio.
I don't know what's going to happen, but I'm going to be here until they come in there and turn the lights off.
I'm going to say, where's your court order?
So this is all going down right now.
They want to silence the American people, but we're not going to be silenced.
Be sure to follow me at the Alex Jones Network at AJN Live on X right now.
They're filed in court to take Real Alex Jones away.
That's totally unconstitutional.
The judge already said no.
They filed in other courts.
So a lot fee going up by the time you see this at AJN Live and at Real Alex Jones right now.
This is a total attack on free speech.
The deep state is completely out of control.
The private security hasn't even been told all this yet.
They tried to tell them last time, the other U.S. trustee to shut us down on the court order.
You know, these folks said no.
So this is all happening right now.
This is the tyranny of the New World Order, desperate to silence the American people.
The mandate of Trump against all the lawfare, they don't care.
So the system still thinks it's in charge.
I'm going live right now for what probably will be the last transmission from this building.
God bless you all for your support.
Please support our sponsors so we get funds to stay on the air at the Alex Jones Network, Alex Shonesstore.com.
Take action.
I need your support.
InfoWars is really the detonator for this whole global movement that's happening.
Your support did that.
You're the reason it's happening.
You are the resistance.
God bless and good luck.
elijah schaffer
And Alex, we do stand with you.
I mean, it's remarkable about what exactly is happening here.
As the article continues on, it said that the sale is the latest development in a protracted legal battle involving Jones and the families affected by this tragic Sandy Hook shooting in 2012.
After years of contentious lawsuits and substantial defamation judgments, totaling nearly $1.5 billion, Jones filed for bankruptcy in late 2022.
This bankruptcy filing allowed for liquidation of his assets, opening the door for bids on Infowars.
Now, it remains uncertain whether Jones will pursue legal avenues to contrast the Onions acquisition or if the new owners will indeed move forward with the planned transformation.
But as Infowars supporters and free speech advocates look on, this auction has come to symbolize more than a transfer of assets.
It raises questions about the future of independent media and the fight for free press in America.
Some of these comments we already have on there, Barely News said, Rugby and I are literally sick to our stomachs, but I got Alex's message.
We are all Infowars.
Plus, Ziggy said, Infowars is a big name, but Alex Jones is the driving force behind it.
In my opinion, it doesn't matter too much that Infowars has been bought and blah, blah, blah, blah.
I think Alex can successfully create something new.
If there's something I've learned in these times, it's not about the image, the brand, the words, the concepts.
It's about the substance, the actions, definitions, reality, and spirit.
I'm going to give that, I don't think I can give that one a heart, but I was also liked one time.
I agree with you, Ziggy.
That is an absolute true statement.
