Welcome back to Slightly Offensive with your favorite gay black woman, me, Elijah Schaefer.
I am here on the streets of Hollyweird, California, and we are talking to people in the nightlife about their thoughts on the political climate on being a Republican or Democrat.
What's one good thing the Democrats have done for the country?

You tell me, because I don't know.
I'm like only thinking of the bad about like Donald Trump, how he banned like some Israel countries, even though they weren't even a part of like the shootings and all that.
they were, first of all, they were even against releasing the slaves.
So whichever one, you know, like, it's kind of, for now, they're kind of...
The Republican Party developed as the party of freedom.
But the Republicans, the Republicans is the party of freedom.
They were the first people to give black people the right to vote.
The first people to bring a black senator in.
And they were always the party of that.
The Democrats were the party of the Ku Klux Klan, of the Jim Crow laws.
But why are all the black people voting for Democrats when they've always been the party that has actually been against people of color?
And today, under Republican leadership, black unemployment is the lowest it's ever been.
Black poverty level is the lowest they've ever been.
Black homeownership is the highest it's ever been.
Why is it that when Republicans run, black people do better?
But Democrats, like Bill Clinton, when he was in office in 1994, introduced the crime bill that basically put all the black people in prison today, that started causing that distribution, unequal distribution, that started policing against black neighborhoods.
You know what I'm talking about?
The whole like petty crimes putting lock people out for 20 years.
So if Democrats keep working against black communities, why do they keep getting the vote?
Isn't that like mental slavery?

Kind of like, yeah.
In a way, it's just that people have to be educated.
Like I said, for me, even for myself.
Yeah, not even that, you know, the research, but it's just actually taking the time to actually sit down and like, oh, sh ⁇ .
Okay, so this is the history of between the two parties.
This person, okay, like, you know, for the most part, choosing, what I heard is choosing between lesser of the two evils.
But why would the Democrats be lesser of two evils?

Like, I remember reading something where he like banned some certain countries in the Middle East, and they didn't even have anything to do with those terrorist attacks.
A lot of them were mainly done by like white people, like, especially the shootings and all of that.
You know, it wasn't like terrorists.
We need our independency from the rest of the world.
They're always brainwashed, brainwashed like their head is a rag to the toss.
But I gotta say, open up your mind to the times.

All right.
No, the fact that he hasn't, he hasn't put forth any initiatives showing that he plans to do anything.
I mean, as far as we need to have regulations against these corporations that are getting their palm oil from the rainforests that are being burned down, we have less than 20% left of our rainforest.
He's lost me on so many things he's done already, and it just keeps piling up.
So I just, on a personal level, like already like zero, like just totally offensive, totally, you know, if you want to call it racist or not or whatever, definitely sexist, definitely just not a good guy.
Even though we pulled out the Paris Climate Agreement, we've still led the world in reducing carbon emissions too, which is pretty freaking awesome, which means that we can't always just rely on our presidents and people.
The American people are pretty resilient and we have a lot of power and of ourselves.
I'm about in giving power to the people.
We've been able to, despite what is put into power, we have a way of actually coming in and doing more than the government could do.
Because think about this.
Countries that are in the Paris Climate Agreement are still increasing carbon emissions.
So being on paper and trusting the government isn't exactly what makes this country greater.
That's why I don't think it's Trump that makes the country the best.
I think it's the people.
And when the people have the most freedoms that they have here to do what's right, and our country doesn't just work on capitalism, but they work on capitalism.
I say this: you got to have capitalism with nationalism, meaning you got to love your country, but you got to also have it with worldism.
You got to love the planet.
You got planetism.
You got to love the planet.
You can't just burn down the planet to make a quick buck.

Okay, climate change might be real.
We don't know what started it, but I know right now the rest of America is hot as f, and I'm wearing a jacket in L.A.
It's okay.
Gun control.
He's soft on that shit.
A, I got to get a weird fin on my AR.
And if he does or does not have connections to Russia, they're talking about this shit about Ariel 51.
And this motherfucking Trump talks about Kevin Kaepernick and the other that need to go back.
The squad needs to go back to the country.
What I want to know is if he does know, let us know real shit about the aliens, right?
If he knows, they gave him the black book, all that, right?
He needs to talk about that.
And if Trump wants to get elected, Trump, what you really got to do is legalize marijuana federally, and you got it.
