Anytime I get the chance to take the very dishonest articles from the fake news media and bring light and fact check them is a great day for me.
Welcome back to the Daily Dose with your favorite gay black woman, me, Elijah Schaefer.
You might notice that I am not in my studio as normal because I am in Las Vegas.
Took a little vacation with my wife and my in-laws, but now I am just chilling in a hotel room for a second.
Everybody's got to have a break, except when we got to correct what Vox has done, which is a very, very, very inaccurate presentation of yesterday's social media summit at the White House.
And I'm going to start by using this article to sort of fact check the way that the media likes to skew information to not only make Donald Trump look bad, but try to always make it seem like center right or right-wing commentators like myself look evil and are discredited.
But we're fighting back.
And thanks to viewership like you and people who think well and follow the great shows on YouTube and all across the internet, we're able to totally hit them right where it hurts.
And that's in just discrediting everything they write.
So this article says, Trump's social media summit was a circus.
Its aftermath was even worse.
So of course, you know, you already know this article is going to be a bunch of baloney because it's not even, like, I don't even know what the difference is anymore between a news article and an op-ed because I mean, this sounds like an op-ed, but it's not an op-ed.
It's a news article, but it's already skewed to make you think something negative.
They don't even care about the facts anymore, but we're going to look at this because they tried and failed, but let's just see what they say.
Okay, so it says, this is what happens when the right-wing fringe is emboldened and empowered.
Okay, so already they're coming with the pretext that the social media summit is a bad thing because, hey, it's giving the right wing a voice.
And anytime you give the right wing a voice, that's a bad thing.
But of course, they forget that the right wing and people who are in the center and now everybody who's not a radical progressive and wants your kid to put on makeup and dance with drag queens at four years old is pretty much considered right wing.
All right, so let's look at this.
They're not going to tell us any facts.
They're just going to start with a smear campaign, of course, on a conservative.
Here we go.
The extent to which President Donald Trump was emboldened and empowered fringe views wasn't just on Full View Thursday during a White House social media summit that featured many far right.
There it is again, always far right.
Never just right wing.
We're all far right, okay?
Far right conspiracy theorists and hoaxers.
It was perfectly captured by the conduct of one attendee.
Okay, so here's where the article starts.
They already try to discredit it because it's, you know, empowering the right wing, which is evil.
And then they don't even say that there's, you know, just right-wing people.
It's full of conspiracy theorists and hoaxers, as if there's no legitimate right-wing ideas or commentators.
You know, we're all conspiracy theorists and hoaxers to them.
The funny thing is the ultimate hoax is that they actually think they're credible journalists.
It says that, you know, they take it down here to one attendee.
Like, why talk about the summit in an accurate presentation when we can look at an action of one person?
And I'm going to show you how dishonest this article gets.
Ready for this?
It says, the day before the summit, former White House aide Sebastian Gorka was widely ridiculed for making an absurd claim on his radio show that the U.S. women's national soccer team was seeking to destroy everything that is wholesome in our country and our Judeo-Christian civilization.
But on Thursday, Gorka, back in the White House as an invited guest, was praised for doing a good job by the president before going on to verbally harass a member of the White House press corps.
So here's where we start.
The good press corps, the honest journalists and media who are just trying to do their job and show how evil Trump is and how far-right conspiracy theorists and hoaxers like myself are taking over the world.
They start saying, yeah, but there was this one guy who called somebody a name.
Now, before I come to the defense of Sebastian Gorka, I think any type of unprovoked name-calling, especially in a professional setting, is absolutely childish.
So I was really hoping that as we're reading this, that definitely as they're starting to ridicule Sebastian Gorka, that there was grounds for doing so.
But of course, we're going to find that their argument has some very big loopholes, and they leave out some important information.
It says Trump ended his speech at the summit, one that largely centered on a baseless conspiracy theory about Twitter conspiring to suppress his follower count by taking a question from and praising Gorka, who despite working at the White House in the early days of Trump administration, introduced himself as though the president didn't know who he was.
In a less amusing twist, Gorka followed that up by nearly instigating a physical altercation on White House grounds by members of the White House press corps.
Okay, so now not only is he verbally harassing people, he's about to assault people.
Look at these right-wing people.
They're dishonest.
They're trying to hit just nice liberal journalists.
Oh, this is getting good.
Ready for this?
This is going to get so good.
Gorka and other far-right media.
By the way, we should have a drinking game.
If you drink every time you read the word far-right, you'd be an alcoholic.
But hey, if you have nothing to live for, like you're one of the writers of this article, maybe you should start doing that.
But it says Gorka and other far-right media personalities were given choice seats for Trump's press brief Rose Garden event, in which he announced he's giving up his quest to add a citizenship question to the census.
But we'll try to gather citizenship information by any other means.
Right after it ended, Gorka strode up to Playboy reporter Brian Karem.
I don't know how to say his last name.
Playboy reporter.
Who's reading Playboy?
Right?
Like, this even matters?
Is that a porn magazine anyways?
I don't know.
But I mean, I know they actually write articles.
You would, of course, read it for the articles.
The breasts are just extra, right?
That's what I tell my wife, too.
I don't look at Playboy magazine.
I would never do that.
I'm more of a hustler guy.
No, I'm just kidding.
I'm neither.
I'm saved by God.
And thank God.
Woo, some bad stuff.
Anyways, Brian Karem doesn't have very nice breasts, nor does he write very well.
I've actually read his articles.
And he says he's a fixture of the White House press corps.
So this is how you already know the press corps is a joke.
It's like a Playboy writer.
They're calling us far-right hoaxers, conspiracy theorists, and a guy who literally comes from like a porn magazine.
Essentially, it is like who you're calling the fixture.
This is the mainstream.
Give me a break.
It says, who at times has been an outspoken critic of the Trump administration and called him a punk?
Wow, no shocker there.
These press corps people are critics of Trump.
Very interesting.
You're not a journalist.
You're a punk, Gorka yelled.
Like, it's like we're reading like a gossip magazine.
This is so psychotic.
And for the record, he would kick your punk ass, another summit attendee said to Kareem as others chanted, Gorka, Gorka.
The surreal scene was filmed by New York Times White House correspondent Katie Rogers.
This is surreal moment when a guy that works for like an amunie magazine or whatever is, I know they have a legitimate news section, but let's just take it like as it is, right?
Is you're mad that somebody call him a punk ass.
Now, before I defend Gorka, if Gorka really did just yell at this guy and call him a punk ass for no reason, yeah, okay, maybe the right wing needs to settle down.
But let's look at one thing that they leave out.
It says, ready for this.
I love this part.
Additional footage shows that Kareem mocked Gorka and other people who were there for the summit before Gorka approached him saying there is a group of people that are eager for demonic possession.
Okay, so this is where, this is where the dishonest media is so bad.
This whole article has a picture of Gorka on top.
They've singularly taken this entire event down to one person and one interaction saying that there's a right-winger who Trump supports that is attacking the press corps and yelling at them.
But hold up.
Quick little bit of information.
Actually, the journalist that was yelled at started the altercation.
Like he started it.
And they don't start the article explaining that.
They make it look like Gorka is bad.
He's evil.
He's unprofessional, not putting in the fact that he didn't start it.
But that's what the dishonest media does.
They take anything they can to make people who don't agree with their radical progressive agenda, and they try to make them look really bad by putting titles far right, hoaxer, conspiracy theorist, or he yelled, he cussed, he said this.
It was surreal.
It was crazy.
How would this be allowed to happen?
But here's a little note.
Actually, it was started by the real journalist, Mr. Karim from Playboy.
Yeah, shocker there.
And it says here.
But nothing Karim did warranted Gorka, who was also filmed at the White House on Thursday calling journalists asshats, which is actually kind of funny.
Now, you know, what's funny is, is this, this is where you see the virtue signaling of the left.
This guy is literally saying, like, look, he might have called him and said he's ready for demonic possession, but that doesn't warrant being called an ass.
It's like, who are you to judge what warrants being called an ass?
Okay.
I mean, it's not the best comment to tell someone something, but I mean, you've got to be kidding me.
It's not that big of a deal, right?
And then it's like these journalists are called ass hats and they're sad about it.
Like, oh, like a man called me an asshat.
It's like, grow up, you know?
And it says, you know, these confronting him in a manner that could have easily spiraled into a physical altercation in the Rose Garden.
Yeah, like calling someone an asshat is very short of actually fighting people in the rose garden.
They exaggerated like, well, and this is how you get articles spinned.
Remember that one time they say an article, Gorka almost physically assaulted a journalist inside the rose garden.
And you're like, that never happened.
You just made that up and inserted it.
And then you're creating your own narrative.
This is crazy.
Let's keep going.
This is a fun daily notice.
This is a little longer than normal, but let's keep debunking this.
I'm loving this one.
It says, CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta tweeted, oh, good old Jim, right?
If you want to beef up your report to be credible, bring in Jim Acosta.
Jim Acosta tweeted, the West Wing aides did nothing to prevent Gorka and others from verbally abusing reporters who were trying to do their jobs and characterize the scene as a good snapshot of how press is treated by the White House.
Nikki Schwab of the New York Post reported that Acosta was verbally harassed by right-wing conspiracy theorist Mark Dice, who shouted at him and ridiculed the fact that his new book only spent two weeks on the bestsellers list.
There's nothing about the summit.
It's like a bunch of journalists who are threatened by right-wing commentators who literally, Mark Dice, by the way, like records on like a webcam, I think, every day, like a three-minute video and gets more views than articles by Vox.
These people are threatened.
And I'm going to show you why they really attack us, why they don't report on it.
Like if you read this and you were liberal, you would have no information whatsoever about the social media summit.
You have learned absolutely nothing.
But you did hear about journalists fighting in an altercation that was literally fabricated.
And then you think that the right-wing started it.
And because they know most people only read the first couple paragraphs, but in reality, the left-wing started it.
And you go, well, you know, why are you covering this whole right-ling left-wing, you know, breakup or this animosity?
It's not helping America.
I'm saying there really isn't right-wing, left-wing fights like this.
This is all made up.
Look at this.
This is so good.
It says, and it wasn't just fringe characters like Gork and Dice who use their invite to the White House to unload on members of the press.
During the remarks he gave during the summit, Senator Josh Halley smeared the fake news media before pushing unfounded claims that social media companies are biased against conservatives.
On the contrary, the daily list of the most read news articles on Facebook is routinely dominated by right-wing authors and publishers like Ben Shapiro, Fox News, and Daily Caller.
Okay, so number one debunked, Twitter literally even admitted that they have a left-leaning bias.
Okay, so even if you can't prove that right-wingers are just the ones being censored, you can definitely say that there has been a CEO of one of the largest social media companies who did say that their companies are biased towards the left.
So it's like, are you a journalist?
Did you even read anything on the internet?
Do you know how to even Google anything?
Google's literally being censored in your favor to rewrite history.
They're literally taking the search engine of Google that's already been exposed and re-engineering it.
They're passing their own algorithms to be in the favor of the left-wing radical progressive agenda.
And you still can't even find the right information and you're still reporting false fake news that there's no facts on this.
Give me a break.
There's literally bombshell reports by James O'Keefe showing the fact and with insiders leaking documents that Google is actually censoring right-wing people.
They're trying to break ties with Breitbart.
What the hell are these people being called journalists for when they can't even find basic information on the search engine that's rigged in their favor?
It's like madness.
But you see why they need to attack us.
They need to attack us because they put in parentheses right there that on the contrary, the most read news articles on Facebook are routinely right-wing news articles.
Americans love to read and consume information that represents their ideas fairly.
And this author is threatened because no matter how much money, investment, rigging, censorship goes into pushing the left-wing media outlets, they still can't win because their articles suck nuts.
This article literally has no information in it.
It doesn't include any facts.
It routinely gets things wrong.
It mocks people in a very condescending tone.
And this is why Vox is literally a piece of shit news organization and a story.
And for those of you that get mad when I say something like that, there are moments where you shouldn't curse.
And then there are moments where there's piece of shit news organizations that need to be called online piece of shit news organizations.
And if you have a problem with that, that's fine.
I don't care, but it's the truth.
Anyways, I want to bring this up before going and closing this out.
You can read the rest of this article and find more about how Vox just completely and radically misses the mark.
They fail to mention the qualities, the ideas, the topics, the talking points, anything, and instead turn it into a partisan hackery of how we're so good and they're so bad.
I also suggest watching some funny videos by Joy Villa on her Instagram where she actually talks to some of the journalists who are telling her that real journalism has copy editors.
And she's telling them, you guys are fake news.
We don't care about your copy editors.
I'll power it to you, Joy Villa.
If you don't know who she is, she wore that MAGA dress to the Grammys a couple years ago.
And she's famous kind of for wearing glamorous dresses that are controversial.
Anyways, make sure that you always like and share these videos.
Click the subscribe button.
If you want more videos like this where we just completely roast and debunk these fake news media outlets and use them as a catalyst to share what really happened at this summit where truth and matters and the president confronted people who are hurting and dying in this country to have their voices heard.
We know what really happened.
The fake news media is skewing it.
Anyways, thank you so much for watching another episode of Daily Dose with your favorite gay black woman.
