Welcome back to another episode of Slightly Offensive with your favorite gay black woman, me Elijah Schaefer.
We are here out in the streets of DC running, I don't know where, with some black black people to be at this rally against free speech and stuff because why let people give free speech and stuff?
We hope you enjoyed the show.
Make sure you like, share, subscribe.

We are arriving here at the rally for free speech.
And what we have behind us is currently a bus.
Now, you probably can't see this that well, but to my left over here, essentially they've put some blockades on the roads, which are to stop people from driving cars through.
All right, so we're just walking into the rally.
We're gonna take a look around, kind of see what's going on here.
We already have quite a wide variety of ethnicities that are going on here, but we're gonna see what else has happened today.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America to the republic for which it stands.
One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
But I have something to say to the people watching at home, and it's something that you aren't used to hearing from media personalities whose politics you share.
Anyways, we're gonna have to walk around the block a couple times to basically get to the protests, which are on the other side, because they won't let people through the blockades and they have cars set up.
It's just, it's just crazy, man.
Just for a rally.
It's really sad.
Like, what do they think is going to happen?
This guy in front of me has a Black Lives Matter sign and a trans flag, which is actually interesting because that's pretty much my identity.
The police are moving in, and I'm not sure why they're coming, but here we go.
Off to Neverland.
All right, as the sign says, from the ALT, RIGHT to the police, get that FAS, C-I-S-M, serves the 1%.
And they're holding it in front of the cops, who are very diverse, even of genders, which is pretty cool.
And this brings up the divide.
I mean, what are we out here doing?
I think we all want the same thing, but we're taking different means to get it.
And these guys are dedicated.
They have Ghostbusters with a MAGA hat on the side, and they're doing what they know best.
Guys, welcome back to the show.
My name is Elijah Schaefer.
I'm here with Slightly Offensive.
your favorite and most beautiful gay black woman here in Washington, DC at the Freedom Rally and counter-protest rally outside in Freedom Plaza.
Today we have a clash between what seems to be an event by mostly right-wingers that's also housed security by the group known as Crowdboys, which has been counter-protested by a group that I'm not sure their entire stance, but there is a lot of black blocked people, green hat people, and generally just people who don't like people on the right.
Let's talk to them see what they have to say and find out why there's such a divide in the United States of America Why is there a man standing in front of you?

Chicken shit because he won't show his face.
Chicken shit because I won't show my face.
Say all he does is repeat because he doesn't have any mantra.
He doesn't have an education to have a dialogue.
All they want to do is protest and cause problems.
But he doesn't really believe in what he stands for.
If he changed his dialogue from ad hominem, if he changed it from the personal attacks to actually debating an issue, would you be willing to actually lay out your points?
So what's really cool about this country is you have an anti-police sign, and the police are trying to bring peace while people are holding up an anti-police sign.
And, you know, it's definitely interesting because it's the fact that, you know, the police are really not, I don't think the police are really here to cause any problems, but some people think they are.
We'll see what ends up happening at the end of the day.
These kind of rallies are common in India.

Back in Jantamatha, you have all this kind of rallies, and I really appreciate what you guys are doing here.
The first thing here is we have some of these flags, which are the traditional colors of the red and black of anti-fascist movements across the United States of America.
Of course, there are more militant groups in Washington, D.C., Portland, Los Angeles, and other major metropolitan areas.
But hey, kudos for them, man.
Crafts and arts was probably the strong suit in high school anyways.
You know, because there's two separate groups kind of diametrically opposed in their opinions, you know, in order to ensure that someone from one group doesn't go to the other side and cause trouble, we're letting each group manage their own media of access.
We're asking people who are doing press work in here in the space to be respectful of sticking cameras in people's faces without their consent.
So if you can make sure to get explicit verbal consent from people before you film their face or before you're faces are covered though, so we were good.
You know, as long as you're not causing a problem, theoretically, it shouldn't be an issue.
So I'm not sure exactly what they're doing on that side over there because, like I said, you know, we're...
What sets you apart to want to come over here and engage versus let's say people who might stay over there or people who might stay over there and not want to engage or have a conversation?
unidentified
Mostly I've been coming over here if I've been seeing a large crowd of people just to kind of be here in case something goes wrong.
Well, what's interesting about these rallies here is that people are like looking for a fight basically.
And they're actually kind of rude.
But I don't really care.
Look at it.
This is what people are today.
It's bizarre.
unidentified
We're here to stop any sort of people who are trying to cause trouble, trying to start violence over at the rally at large.
They're going over to have a peaceful demonstration to talk about their ideas that, you know, it's unlike these ideas on the right, which are advocating for violence, advocating for genocide.
Black lives matter!
Black lives matter, black lives matter, black lives matter Black lives matter!
Life's lives!
Black Lives Matter! Black Lives Matter! Black Lives Matter! Black Lives Matter! Black Lives Matter.
Because they're over here protesting fascism, and they're the fascists.
Because they're trying to, you may not agree with what someone else is saying, doesn't mean you have the right to tell them they can't be able to say it.
That's exactly what these people are doing over here.
They say it's about, oh, stopping out the hate.
It's not about stomping out the hate.
It's about stomping an opinion that you don't like.
So if you're an average viewer that watches the news, right, which I don't, it's not necessarily the best deal if you're just getting your information from the news.
For some reason, we are mobbing through the streets of D.C. without a permit now.
