I'm saddened.
I want to cry.
I don't really want to cry, but I wish I was a little softer and not so calloused and hard-hearted from all the crap in the world because I would cry because this is an elected official and she's in the government.
And it's like, what are you doing?
Alexandria Cortez is a representative in the U.S. government, like that, like the federal government.
I mean, she is a Congresswoman.
She's from the 14th district in New York.
And I'll give her a break.
Okay.
When I watched this in the beginning, I watched her say, right, we got to take back these three branches of Congress.
unidentified
Is that should we?
And if we work our butts off to make sure that we take back all three chambers of Congress.
elijah schaffer
Which is like, everyone's like, oh, ha ha, make fun of that.
But that's not even the funny part because everyone makes mistakes, right?
People just say the wrong thing or they misspeak.
And I will concede that one to her.
Go ahead, whatever.
But it's a second part that should concern you the most.
unidentified
Rather, all three chambers of government, the presidency, the Senate, and the House in 2020.
We can't start working in 2020.
elijah schaffer
When she defines the federal government as being the executive, the president, and then the other two branches as being the Congress, just the Senate and the House, I mean, this woman completely left out the judiciary.
And that's not even my biggest problem with this at all.
And you might be saying, like, why?
And that's because if you think about it, it's not like she can't make two mistakes in a row, but the fact is, is that this clarification was her correcting a mistake that she made.
I mean, she caught herself, right?
Oh, I mean, not of Congress, but of the three branches.
And then her correction to her mistake was still a mistake.
This woman makes mistakes about her mistakes.
She has no idea what she's talking about.
But this like isn't even new for her because it, and it's sad.
Like, I'm saddened.
I want to cry.
I don't really want to cry, but I wish I was a little softer and not so calloused and hard-hearted from all the crap in the world because I would cry because this is an elected official and she's in the government.
And it's like, what are you doing?
And this isn't the first time she said stupid things that don't make sense.
unidentified
Okay.
elijah schaffer
She famously said to one reporter that, you know, Americans have a low unemployment rate because they work 80 hours a week, which Politith checked and said wrong since 2006.
They've only worked about 34.5.
And it gets worse than that because she also, in an attempt to fight against assault weapons and propose a ban on the AR-15, says that it's dangerous because a 17-year-old could just walk in and purchase a firearm.
No?
Like, where do you get this information from?
Like, the federal government has a law that you have to be 18 to purchase a firearm.
You can't use like untruth to push an agenda.
It's just ridiculous.
I mean, what are you?
What are you even trying to accomplish?
I mean, who's supporting this woman?
Who paid for this woman to run for office?
I don't even know.
I feel bad for them.
I feel sorry for those people.
They've wasted a lot of money.
This woman is not going to get a lot done.
And you know what?
She's also strange because on the night that she was elected and she found out she won, she said that she was going to be glad to be inaugurated.
unidentified
We're going to get inaugurated January 3rd, January 4th.
We're signing health care.
We're signing this.
elijah schaffer
We're decarcering our society.
Okay, members of Congress don't get inaugurated.
Okay, that doesn't happen.
And then she goes, oh, we're going to be signing bills on the third and the fourth day or whatever.
No, you don't even sign bills in Congress.
You don't even know what job you work.
You're the same person who just talked smack on Uber saying it's, oh, it's unregulated and it's expanded.
It's hurt taxi drivers.
Your campaign spent $4,000 on Ubers.
Okay.
You can't just say one thing and do another and then make up facts and do whatever you want.
Because for a party that claims to be fighting against Donald Trump, who they say does that, is just doing the same thing back and then denying it.
And that's kind of what I see the left doing a lot is they just sort of virtue signal when it works for them.
It's like your campaign hypocritically did the things that you said were wrong.
You're basically talking smack on your own campaign.
But she doesn't even realize that.
I don't even know if she knows that.
What does she even know?
unidentified
Hello, everybody.
I'm so excited to be hopping on here, Senator Sanders' account.
And we're here in Kansas City to rally for Brent Welder.
We're going to flip this seat red in November.
elijah schaffer
I mean, poor lady, I just, I don't even want to finish this video.
I don't even care to finish it.
I don't want to make any more.
I feel bad.
Like, there's actually more.
If you Google this stuff, there's more of these situations than I would like to have exist because it's not because like when she was running, I didn't care, but she's in office.
And these poor people in New York, I mean, she's their representative.
Like, the word representative means that she's an example of those people that live there.
And if that's an example of the people that live there, I never want to go there.
I thought California was bad, but this is worse because, I mean, well, take that back.
We did elect Kamala Harris, so who recently compared ICE, the immigration and customs enforcement, to the KKK.
But Alexandria Cortez also famously went down to the ICE detention facility and harassed ICE agents.
Like, what are you doing?
unidentified
We have no right to stand for injustice.
There is no reason for this.
These are human rights abuses.
These are human rights abuses.
I don't want this to be a tag and I don't want to be a winner.
elijah schaffer
What are you doing?
You're just virtue signaling so that we think you're a good person, but most of the country wants borders.
Like, do you realize if we didn't even have borders and these people didn't exist, that we'd have a serious problem in the South?
I mean, what's wrong with you?
And that's the question of the hour.
