Fascist or not, the fact is you don't see a lot of very left-leaning speakers coming to, like, super left-leaning, like, whether it be socialists or anything like that, coming to university.
But that, in your opinion, you would feel by saying to push them out or to put them in their own state or for another state to absorb them would be the same thing as a genocide.
unidentified
Yes, I agree.
His statements on the Israel and Palestine conflict bug me.
Just because in general, the lack of nuance on both sides of that conflict and discussion around that conflict sort of bugs me.
But I don't know.
The notion that I don't feel comfortable speaking on that, but the fact is, if he leans so strongly one way, the point where he's advocating for the genocide of others, and that bugs me.
Where are institutional laws that institute racism?
unidentified
institutional laws that institute racism.
Well, I mean...
Hey, what's up?
Hello.
I mean, I remember in Baltimore, I don't remember the details of this at all, so don't try to use me as some kind of example of the left doesn't know what they're talking about, this kind of thing.
So, that's usually a dictator government that sort of controls the economy and information, control of information.
And while people have some personal freedoms, ultimately, the government has rights above the people and works to try to shut out people who disagree with them to have a powerhold upon an autocracy.
I don't think there's gun stores in every corner in Compton.
I don't think I've been there.
There's not.
Do you think that trying to stop someone from speaking, even if they disagree with you, is a good idea for the future of colleges in the United States of America?
Should we be allowed to talk about communism on college campuses?
So this is Elijah now in a studio, and I'm speaking from Hollywood.
Because what we're about to do is, see, we run into this shim-looking he-she.
You can't tell the gender of this person, and you no wonder why liberals have a hard time telling gender because they can't tell how they look.
And we were walking away, and suddenly this guy right here with the cup of unknown liquid peers out of the bushes.
And not only is the drink unidentifiable, but again, here we have another person with an unidentifiable gender.
It looks like a man, but if it was a woman, I mean, it had long hair, it was weird looking.
But look at that look of evil.
I'm not sure if we've talked to this person before, if they've heard false things about who we are and what we do, but this is what we go through.
This man looked at us and he's obviously targeting us.
He comes up to my cameraman maliciously, and you see those eyes of evil.
And he actually assaults the cameraman in just a few seconds here and pours that drink all over my $3,000 camera.
And right here, boom, hits him, pours the drink into the camera.
The camera immediately starts to get messed up.
You can watch as the lens immediately dips out of focus.
The motherboard is getting fried.
In a second here, we get some hope, and the camera starts to come back into focus.
And so we're trying to fix it.
Obviously, the guy ran away like every sort of shim lord does.
And you can start to see, and there you go.
The camera is officially dead.
So this would be my third camera now that they fried.
And we went from filming with this right here, which is a wonderful camera bought by a donor, to filming now with this.
But the cool thing is, is my fiancé encouraged me to keep shooting.
We didn't stop shooting, even though they destroyed a $3,000 camera.
And we are not going to stomp this fight, even if they bully us.
Do you think that it's good for the future of colleges in America to limit the ideas that we allow onto our college campuses?
unidentified
Definitely not, because colleges are supposed to have like a diversity of thought and for people to hash out ideas, but to say, oh no, you're not allowed here because your speech is bigoted.
I mean, that doesn't make sense, like at least have an argument of why it's bigoted or why you don't like that to refute it.
This sort of like he, she, femme looking, you know, you can't tell what gender they are, but they're probably a guy, comes over and pours juice all over our camera.
Doesn't even know who we are or where we come from.
What do you think is the danger of people starting to fight ideas with violence?
unidentified
Fascism.
Police say.
Basically, if they had their way, they would use the police.
It's not that they don't like the police, it's they want the police to be used for their benefit.
And so they would actually, you go.
You see what they're saying, cops in a pigs in a blanket.
And a lot of white people just still, again, white guilt is just putting white people at the front of the conversation.
The dialogue is still about white people.
And so all they've done is turned it into a pity party.
And they're not changing.
They're not about minorities.
They're about themselves.
And that's the key thing.
They're on a pedestal and they're doing what they think is best for themselves.
unidentified
I was talking to Adam about this earlier and basically even admitting you have white guilt or white privilege, you're looking down on minorities saying, here, let me help you because I'm white.
They're sent as literal Nazis and white supremacists compared to figurative Nazis and white supremacists, which is actually who they're fighting against.
There's nothing literal about this.
We're filming on a phone now because they destroyed our camera.
The problem with free speech is that you can destroy the tools, but you can't destroy the brains behind them.
Even if you kill the people, you will not be able to kill the ideas.
And that's what we're finding out here, is they will try to destroy your things.
Next, they're going to come after you.
But at the same time, what can these people do?
Don't be pushed back by their threats.
Don't be intimidated by their attacks.
If they're going to push against you, resist peacefully.
And do not let them intimidate you.
This is for all of you MAGA, all of you free people, all of you progressives, all of you leftists, right-wing.
Don't let other people intimidate you away from fighting for the ideas that are convicted to your heart and the values of this country.
Even if you come against the values of this country, you have the right in this country to speak freely.
And these people don't believe that.
And that's why we're reporting this here.
So what's up?
So are you here to protest with them or are you just spectating?
unidentified
I'm here to protest with them as well as to spectate.
I completely disagree with his marginalization of people of color and the fact that a lot of his positions do come from a position of superiority and a position of privilege.
I don't think he shares the same experiences as people of color, and so I don't think he has the right to say certain things about certain issues.
So right here, and this is an honest question that I want to know.
Why is it that he just said those who are forced come closer so that we can, you know, what did he mean?
Like, why would you want to separate?
What are they trying to separate?
If they're looking for unity and they're against segregation, why are they trying to separate the people that think the same versus people that think differently?
unidentified
Oh, no, there is not any type of separation.
It's terms of like, when people are not coming against with the same ideas, they are not going to want to integrate with each other.
And so that's the thing that a lot of white people, I'm sorry, but not to offend you, but like a lot of white people do not like to do, like integrating and like kind of like contacting and having that understanding in terms of like boundary lines, because that's kind of the foundation of like being integrated in society and being progressive in society.
Because like, in order for you to like really understand another person's perspective, you have to like kind of have that interaction and have that understanding of one another.
So yeah, they poured juice all over our camera in the middle of an interview.
Yeah, and I know that's not, that's not everybody but then that sucks because then for people like me, it sucks, because then it it just sucks because it's three, it's a three thousand dollar camera.
People, can I get you to denounce some of that stuff, by the way, like because can I, can I, can you?
Just people will think people will watch that and you know this, they'll think oh, that's how all the protesters were.
They're all wanting to break this kind of wait.
unidentified
What I thought we were just talking sibling.
What we're doing right, trying to understand, like a nice protest.
I don't know why we're marching and I don't know what it is that we're against.
We want justice and nice.
My humanity is not debatable.
They're angry, they're pissed and i'm not sure what it is.
Mostly, I mean shut it down, shut it down, do it.
What are you gonna shut down?
So I mean that the thing about this is is, as I don't understand what in particular, they're trying to shut down nice, oh no hey, you guys are cool they're, they're weak.
