Using free speech to free minds.
Music You're listening to The David Knight Show.
As the clock strikes 13, it's Monday the 30th of October, year of our Lord 2023.
three.
Well, today we're going to take a look at the relentless march towards World War III, what Colonel, retired Colonel McGregor has to say, as well as what the new Speaker has to say about World War.
He is rapidly changing as he has become Speaker.
We're also going to take a look at the insanity with the climate core.
But we will have in the third hour with us the CEO of Promise Keepers.
You may remember this.
It's a decades-old men's ministry, now being canceled by many churches for being too gender-specific.
Yeah. So we'll be right back.
Stay with us. Well,
this is sent to me by listener John.
It's actually an activist post by Brandon Smith, who I've interviewed in the past.
And I agree with him that the wider war...
We'll bring inevitable attempts at martial law.
And of course, he's not unaware.
He knows exactly that we have had already training for martial law.
That's what we went through for the last two and a half, three years, was training for martial law.
And nobody in the government or the media was alarmed about that then or now.
And of course, nothing to be done to change any of that.
That's not on the radar of our new speaker, but it should be.
And of course, we also have Tucker Carlson warning us that abrupt change is coming.
Tucker Carlson, on the other hand, unlike Brandon Smith, Tucker Carlson does not acknowledge that we had martial law.
Starting three years ago.
As a matter of fact, he helped to move the Overton window.
He was complicit and compliant when it was being done by Trump.
And so that is the question.
Are conservatives going to be complicit in this?
Compliant in this?
Coming martial law?
In the wars that they want to ramp up everywhere?
How are we going to face this?
Well, take a look first at Europe.
Europe is facing civil war, says the Gatestone Institute.
And we can see this in the riots, and that's why when we had the attack in Israel, happened on October the 7th, I was gone that Monday, and then Tuesday I talked about the first thing that I was concerned about were the riots that we see happening in the U.S. and in Europe.
The same justifications being used embracing the terrorism of Hamas.
And again, this is a separate issue than Israel's retaliation and whether or not they're doing that in a justified way.
These are two separate questions.
It's also a separate question as to what was going on in Gaza.
That's a whole new thing, to embrace this kind of retail terror.
And that's what it was. Terror and mass murder.
To embrace that as a tactic.
And that was what was done by BLM, black-lying Marxists in this country, as well as Antifa, as well as the Palestinian groups or the Muslim groups throughout America and Europe.
They embraced that.
And they will embrace that against you.
They see you as a colonizer as well.
Same rhetoric, same people, same tactics to be applied to you.
And so we see in Vienna, London, Paris, Berlin, Brussels, dozens of other European cities, demonstrations in support of Palestine were organized.
Hate-filled slogans, justifying violence, justifying violence on the part of Hamas, and of course justifying their future of violence.
And anybody who wanted to try to stop any of these so-called demonstrations, mostly peaceful, right?
Until they weren't.
Anybody who wants to stop that, then you are a colonizer.
And you are the enemy. Henry Kissinger said that we made a very serious mistake in terms of opening the boards.
No, this serious mistake was made in terms of letting people like Kissinger and Klaus Schwab and all these globalists run our countries.
I know we didn't trust them.
Other people did trust them.
That was the mistake.
Kissinger was the mistake.
And I remember when Nixon was in office...
Theoretically, and Kissinger was president.
And I remember how Republicans made excuses for that, or admired that, or whatever.
A literal war criminal.
In the hours following the revelation of the butchery committed by Hamas, a wave of racist violence and attacks began in Europe against Jews, and against anybody who tried to stop these violent protesters.
They went very rapidly from BLM to PLO, didn't they?
In most Western European countries, support for terrorism and incitement for hatred and violence against non-Muslims have gone from being offenses to being supported in the name of diversity and multiculturalism.
As this article from Zero Hedge points out, no sane person, according to Thucydides, wants the worst form of war, which is civil war.
And it's for this reason that Europe needs to better understand what's been done to it by people like Kissinger and his ilk.
Europe doubtless intended to do good.
I don't think it was ever good intentions on the part of Kissinger and Soros and the UN and Suab.
I don't think it was ever good intentions.
The people in Europe, the people in Europe naively believe this stuff.
Just like you got people naively believing in the climate change.
Oh, I think we're doing good by banning food and meat and dairy and travel and all the rest of this stuff.
A lot of virtue signaling cows.
Part of the herd mentality.
These are the same people who went along with the lockdowns and they'll go along with the next thing that's coming.
Because believe me, there is something else coming.
It'll be, who knows what the MacGuffin will be.
But it'll be the same tactics, and it'll be the same end goal that they've always had, regardless of what the excuse is.
Europeans may have imagined that these people were fleeing tyranny, but in fact, they were bringing tyranny with them.
You understand? They're bringing tyranny with them.
That's why the borders are open in America and in Europe.
It is betrayal and By our traitorous leaders, quote-unquote, who betrayed us since 2020.
They've been betraying us.
And so, he says, well, there's three measures that we need to do.
We need a moratorium on immigration.
Well, good luck with that.
We've known about this for quite some time.
And even though you have people like Obama and Biden wanting to go to war with everybody, They will continue to allow people to come in from those same countries that they're attacking unjustly and creating terrorists there.
Leaving the European Convention on Human Rights would be another thing for Europe to do.
But you know, it really is too late.
There are so many people already in Europe in terms of swamping the population.
Again, I keep going back to that Italian island where they had 6,000 residents And now, in a very short period of time, just a few months, they had 18,000 people invade their island without permission, just coming here to live. That's an invasion.
That is colonizing, isn't it?
Aren't they the colonists?
No, no, no. The colonists are the Italians who were originally there.
That's what Harvard and these other people say.
But it's too late, because they're not having any kids.
Italy is dying.
They are unwilling to have children and a family, and in many ways they are unable to.
You know, there are physical things being done to us by these people in power, but there's also mental things that are being done to us.
People are told that they don't want to have a family.
They want to be lovers of themselves.
Focus on yourself. What about your career?
What about your life, your liberty, your money, your this, your that?
And they don't realize. I see the same thing to a limited degree, even with schooling.
People say, well, I don't want to put my kids in the government child care thing that they've got going, that they call schools.
Because, you know, I want a career for a while, at least.
And they just get in the way.
It's so convenient I can drop them off and let the government institutions raise my children.
We don't want children either in this country.
And we don't want the responsibility of it, but we don't realize that, and I'm just as guilty of it as other people, delaying having kids and stuff.
Some of it was unwilling, and some of it was unable.
Once we changed our mind, we were unable.
So, when you look at this, it is a combination of those two things.
It's lies and literal poison.
Poisonous lies and literal poison.
And the population is imploding.
But the people that are coming in are having lots and lots and lots of kids.
And they are going to take over the country by demographics.
Justine, German defense minister, sees danger of war in Europe.
Says the military and society, quote, must become fit for war, said Pistorius.
Well, maybe it's also too late for that.
Who knows? Meanwhile, U.S. Special Forces and Israel...
Have been allegedly slaughtered, according to retired Colonel McGregor, and he did this towards the end of the week with Tucker Carlson.
A number of American soldiers actively serving in Israel and other bases in the Middle East have been injured or purportedly been killed in the line of duty after recent drone strikes were launched against U.S. forces in Syria and Iraq, allegedly the death of some soldiers during a failed mission.
And said, at least two one-way attack drones, in other words, suicide drones.
You know, like, they now have, their suicide bombers are now drones.
One-way attack drones targeted military base in southern Syria.
Again, why do we have a military base in southern Syria?
We were not invited by the Syrians.
We invaded Syria.
The presence of that military base there is unjustified.
That, by the way, happened during Trump.
So don't tell me that Trump didn't start any wars.
He escalated it at the very least.
And of course, he also did not end any wars either.
He could have ended Afghanistan.
Could have done an orderly withdrawal.
Instead, it was chaotic when we got thrown out.
When it collapsed, there was never any intention to get out.
One of the drones was shot down.
All the wounded personnel returned to duty, said CENTCOM. On the same day, another four American personnel suffered minor injuries, said CENTCOM, during two separate drone attacks against the U.S. and coalition forces.
But there's speculation that some U.S. soldiers have already been killed, and the Department of Defense is unwilling to disclose that information.
Here's what... Well, Colonel McGregor said we don't have the means to rapidly ship a large force of 80,000 to 100,000 troops on the ground into the region, which means that we're reliant on special forces.
And right now, 2,000 Marines, perhaps 2,000 special forces and special operations forces.
That's not going to make much of a dent, he said.
And then he continued with this.
As we've seen quite recently, within the last 24 hours or so, some of our special ops forces and Israeli special ops forces went into Gaza to reconnoiter, to plan for where they might want to go to free hostages and make an impact.
And they were shot to pieces and took heavy losses, as I understand it.
Yes, absolutely.
He went on to emphatically warn that the U.S. is headed towards complete collapse and headed into yet another war that the country will not only not win, but will suffer a great deal of casualties.
And expense in order to fight it.
He highlighted how the U.S. is facing some catastrophic economic problems through a collapsing bond market and treasury yields.
Because, you know, this is all, we can do whatever we want.
Because we can print money out of thin air.
So, he said, the Biden administration is driving the U.S. into Armageddon.
Risks a military conflagration with Iran, Turkey, Russia, and others.
He says, it looks like the chosen destination is indeed Armageddon.
Yes. They're not risking war.
That is the purpose.
That's been the purpose for a very long time.
And we still have people like Lindsey Graham out there.
Ron, if you escalate this war, we are coming for you.
Who's the we? We?
Lindsey? Lindsey and who else?
Who's Lindsey going to be leading into battle?
Nobody. He's going to be pushing people from behind.
So to speak. In another interview on London Real, McGregor made it clear that he shares the view from Hamas that Hamas is a terrorist organization, has to be eliminated.
He says, everyone who looked, this is McGregor, everyone who looked at what Hamas did agrees that they have to be eradicated.
I haven't run into anybody who disagrees with that.
He said, and that includes, for example, King Abdullah of Jordan.
General Sisi in Egypt feels the same way.
Even Erdogan, who has changed his view, spoke against Hamas initially.
I don't think anyone disputes that.
In other words, in Turkey, in Jordan, in Egypt, Hamas has got to go.
You see, the danger is, and I've said this from the very beginning, to not make a distinction between the government of Israel and the Jewish people there, the civilians.
To not make a distinction between the Hamas leadership and these terrorists and the millions of civilians that are there.
Just as it is a mistake to not make a distinction between this CIA puppet Biden and And the American people.
And many Republicans as well.
Same thing with them.
McGregor added, he said, the problem is that the campaign to eradicate Hamas is rapidly turned into a campaign to effectively eradicate all of the Gaza population.
And that's not going to go down well with the rest of the region.
So whatever moral ground the Israelis have is quickly eroding.
He said that if the kind of scenario that Lindsey Graham threatens plays out, we're going to go in Tehran.
We'll be faced, he said, with a global war.
If the United States enters this conflict as a co-belligerent with Israel, he said it's going to be very difficult for Russia and Turkey not to also come into this fight against us because they will not tolerate the sort of collective punishment that Israel plans for Gaza.
And already as we send the military to there, Erdogan in Turkey has said, well, we might send, you know, he hasn't done it yet.
And I don't know if he has the capability to project power like that.
They have a military. They could attack in other ways.
I guess it's a really good thing that Dr.
Oz didn't get into the Senate.
Loyal to Turkey.
Anyway, endorsed by Trump, by the way.
Furthermore, the combat veteran from the first Iraq war, McGregor, went on to explain that Secretary of State Blinken and other decision makers at the top of the U.S. government seemed to be under misconception, believing that the disparity between American military capacities and those of their potential adversaries are similar to what they were in the early 1990s.
In other words, he was there with the first Iraq war.
This is not the same thing.
And again, the arrogance and the hubris and the pride of Biden.
We're not only the most powerful military in the world right now, we're the most powerful military that's ever existed.
Like, wow. If God doesn't strike that guy down and us with him, it's just amazing to look at that arrogance.
McGregor says, we're not the power that we were in 1991.
You have to look at the arsenal of missiles that Iran possesses, and they can reach out 1,200 miles with great precision, delivering very high explosive conventional warheads that would do enormous damage, destroying whole city blocks in places like Haifa and Tel Aviv.
But, again, perhaps as we look at this, perhaps you could draw an analogy between World War II and the view of the battleship at that point in time.
Thinking that the battleship was because it had been the preeminent weapon before.
It was going to currently still be that way.
Whereas it turned out to be the aircraft carrier.
And perhaps it isn't the long-range missiles.
But perhaps it's suicide drones, this relentless, persistent casualties of suicide drone attacks.
And this is taking asymmetric warfare to a whole new level.
Asymmetric warfare meaning, well, we've got these big intercontinental ballistic missiles and we've got aircraft carriers and tanks and jets and all the rest of the stuff that Biden loves to brag about using on us as Americans if we don't turn in our guns.
And you look at asymmetric warfare as we've seen when we occupied Iraq and Afghanistan and other things like the roadside bombs and all the rest of this stuff.
We could not prevail against that.
And I think now, with the drones and other things like that, it's going to be even more so that way.
You're already seeing this a great deal from both the Ukrainians as well as the Russians, but even more so with the Ukrainians.
Necessity is the mother of invention, especially during wartime.
And you don't have to have something that costs millions or tens of millions of dollars in order to kill people.
It's pretty easy to do it.
If the U.S. bombed Iran, McGregor said all the bases that we have in Iraq and Syria would be targeted, and this time they would target them accurately, and the destruction would be wholesale.
He also warned that terrorist attacks at home could become manifest, saying that there are many Hezbollah agents already inside the U.S. He said, furthermore, if the Israelis go into Gaza and Hezbollah intervenes in the north, triggering an American attack upon Iran, He says we'll end up in a fight with Russia.
Russia will not sit by quietly and watch Iran destroyed by U.S. air and naval power in the region.
And this would make American aircraft carriers and other warships in the eastern Mediterranean carrying many thousands of U.S. soldiers vulnerable to the Kinzel missiles and other missiles, cruise missiles, hypersonic missiles that Russians have.
And I doubt seriously that at that point the Turks would be able to stay out.
He said, the Turks are the de facto leaders of the Sunni Muslim world.
And they have the largest armed forces in the region.
They're in close proximity to Israel.
They could move forces south through Syria very rapidly, unimpeded.
So again, he says they could get it there.
So, defer to his judgment.
Anyway, he says, I encourage Americans everywhere to listen to King Abdullah of Jordan and what he had to say.
He said, again, the issue here that is pivotal is the issue of collective punishment.
And McGregor criticized Blinken for saying that Israel and the U.S. are going to do whatever it takes to destroy Hamas and clear disregard for international law that demands the protection of innocent civilians in armed conflict.
And so what King Abdullah said was he began by condemning the violence against civilians in Gaza.
He says it goes on to point out that the collective punishment meted out to two million people is unacceptable, both under international law and for humanitarian reasons.
And so, again, at the very beginning, he says we cannot justify what Hamas did.
Very different, however, than what these protesters in the streets are doing in the U.S. and Europe.
Not the same thing.
That's even more troubling that they support the terrorism.
Addressing the crisis, King Abdullah said specifically, I'm outraged and grieved by those acts of violence waged against innocent civilians in Gaza and the West Bank and in Israel.
The relentless bombing campaign underway in Gaza, as we speak, is cruel and unconscionable on every level.
It is a collective punishment of a besieged and helpless people.
It is a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
It is a war crime.
And, of course, we could see that it was going to go in this direction.
By the time I came back on Tuesday, that was already the talk of what they were going to do.
And I said, remember, for all the people out there who are saying, well, I keep seeing that this is unprovoked, unprovoked, No, Israel, they said, provoked this in the way that they were treating the Palestinians.
But I said, that's not the issue, whether it was provoked or not.
The issue is, was it proportional?
Was it an escalation?
Was it criminal?
And to kill all the civilians in Gaza is also not proportional and also not justified.
Because Hamas is not the Gaza people.
Netanyahu and his government are not the Israeli people.
Just as Biden is not the American people, and the CIA is not the American people, and Lindsey Graham is not the American people.
McGregor told Carlson that America's effort to stand at Israel's side and help protect Israel, we have taken a different route, and we have cast moral turpitude to the side.
And we don't care how vile and degrading this is.
Because now once you become vested in war, you get that bloodlust.
How do you help Israel without committing a war crime against the Palestinians?
And this is the problem with collective punishment, he said.
This is the problem with annihilating Gaza and trying to sweep out its population.
That's unacceptable to us as Americans, he says.
And so, again, we see the attacks on the Syrian bases.
Even after...
The Pentagon has ordered airstrikes.
They have not been effective.
Asymmetric warfare. Yeah, we are the big guys on the block.
There's never been a military that is as powerful as us, and we can do whatever we want to.
Oh, really? Says a guy who basically got thrown out of Afghanistan.
It's a chaotic thing.
Iran-backed forces.
On Saturday and Sunday, survived these attacks and continued the attacks by Biden's jets and continued to retaliate with the drone attacks on U.S. bases in Syria.
Again, why do we have bases in Syria?
We had one false flag after the other during the Trump administration, year after year.
And it was always the argument by Nuki, Haley, and others to put boots on the ground.
Well, you know, we kept pushing back against it, pushing back against it.
Public opinion did not support that.
And yet, Trump did it anyway.
Or the people who actually run the government with him in front.
So, again, Russia media reports of the fresh attacks calling the recent Pentagon airstrikes on Syria an unsuccessful bid to determine the Iranians.
And... So just a reminder, this has been about Iran for a very long time.
As Wesley Clark pointed out back in 2001, 2002.
After 9-11, about 10 days after 9-11, I went through the Pentagon and I saw Secretary Rumsfeld and And Deputy Secretary Wolfowitz, I went downstairs just to say hello to some of the people on the joint staff who used to work for me, and one of the generals called me in.
He said, sir, you've got to come in and talk to me a second.
I said, well, you're too busy. He said, no, no.
He says, we've made the decision we're going to war with Iraq.
This was on or about the 20th of September.
I said, we're going to war with Iraq?
Why? He said, I don't know.
So I came back to see him a few weeks later, and by that time we were bombing in Afghanistan.
I said, are we still going to war with Iraq?
And he said, oh, it's worse than that.
He said, he reached over on his desk, he picked up a piece of paper, and he said, I just got this down from upstairs, meeting the Secretary of Defense's office today, and he said, this is a memo that describes how we're going to take out seven countries in five years, starting with Iraq and then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and finishing off Iran.
I said, is it classified?
He said, yes, sir.
I said, well, don't show it to me.
Well, again, 20 years ago, right?
And, you know, a couple of years prior to that, we had had the plans began to materialize to go to war with America, with the federal government, and the U.S. military, and the CIA, and the rest of them, to go to war with America.
Not just with 9-11, but two months before 9-11, the first germ game simulation, with Fauci and CIA people and Johns Hopkins and funding from Bill Gates and so forth.
Dark winter, two months before 9-11.
One week later, a false flag, anthrax attack.
Two months after that, the model legislation sent out all the states to tell them what to do when they pulled this 2000 hoax on us that Trump was a part of.
And so here we are 20 years later after you see Wesley Clark saying, well, here's the plan.
They wait 20 years to execute their plans.
They practice it. They war game it.
They run through all the different combinations.
And that's where we are right now.
Took them 20 years of practice to run the pandemic war against us.
20 years of practice, and now here we are to run the Iranian war, the bigger Middle East war, all seven nations and so forth.
As Brandon Smith said, and I mentioned this at the beginning, wider war will bring inevitable attempts at martial law in America.
And unlike Tucker Carlson, Brandon Smith is not hiding the fact that they imposed martial law on us through Trump in 2020.
He doesn't call Trump out, of course.
Nobody wants to do that.
But he says, for years I've heard people say that authoritarian controls in America are tinfoil hat conspiracy theory and doom mongering.
And then the COVID agenda hit like a freight train.
And who was driving that freight train?
He who must not be named the Don, our constitutional Benedict Donald, the Constitution, our constitutional rights were no longer set in stone.
There are merely guidelines that government officials could bend or break in the name of public health safety.
Laws no longer had to be passed.
So a series of checks and balances made.
Mandates could be implemented as if they were laws without public oversight and enforced unilaterally.
Which is why I said when I was so disgusted with Trump in 2020, I said, I'm not going to vote for that guy or anybody who resided over this stuff.
Why would I vote for any of these elected officials when they turn the country over to medical martial law to be run by bureaucrats?
And we haven't done anything to stop that or turn that around.
He said there was talk primarily among Democrats of severe punishment for people who refuse the pointless COVID vaccines.
They wanted vaccine passports.
They wanted prison time for those that spoke publicly against the vax.
They wanted people's jobs taken away.
They wanted their children taken away.
There were even plans to build COVID detention centers to segregate and lock up vaccine deniers.
You know, as a matter of fact, did I not put that in here?
Well, we'll play it for you tomorrow then.
Yeah, I don't have that in here.
I forgot to put that in the list.
And a video of what a woman went through with the nasal swabs.
Remember that? Total humiliation.
That's what it was designed for.
Humiliation, domination.
Of course, there were also some questions about really what was on the end of those swabs.
We saw they were like little spike things.
I was like, what's that about? You know, nanotech, perfect way to poison people if you want.
Don't know what that was about, but, you know, that swabbing stuff, it was an act of domination by these people who are into domination.
Sadism, bondage, domination, all the rest of this stuff.
That's what that was about, quite frankly.
They didn't even have to do that if they thought it was a virus.
And we know that.
Because in the summer of 2021 in France, they wanted to have the Cannes Film Festival.
Of course, you know, got to have the Cannes Film Festival.
That's very important. We have all of the elite influencers and movies and everything who are taking us into more and more disgusting areas.
They had to have that Cannes conference.
And so at the time, you know, just as we were rolling this thing out, supposedly it's some kind of dire emergency that had been going on for more than a year.
And Macron, just like Biden, just like Trudeau, just like all of them, was saying, well, you know, in two months, we're going to have to do this, because this is an emergency.
And so we're going to wait, and two months, we'll do that.
And then in those, you know, two months come, they do that, and they tell you, well, another two months, we've got to do the next thing.
It's not an emergency. It's a chaos, disruption from the inside, iteratively done.
It's not an emergency. But the Cannes Film Festival, when people showed up that summer of 2021, They were these, you know, movie stars and directors and the rest of them just could not contain their disdain for France that they would be required to do a COVID test by spitting into something.
And I said, spitting into something?
You mean they didn't swab their noses, run a thing all the way up to their brain?
They didn't swab their throats and all the rest of the stuff?
Yeah, of course. If you really want to test to see if somebody had some virals, if you don't need to swab their throat, you can have them spit, you can test the saliva.
It was domination.
It was domination.
These sadistic people.
And of course, we could easily see that as well in China.
They had done that to State Department officials.
First, they had gotten some dummies, human dummies, and they were snickering.
They had the dummies bent over, and they swabbed them anally, and they were laughing about that.
And then they did it to the State Department officials.
So, in my opinion, quite deserved it.
I was taking some dark joy in seeing that happen.
Although they didn't film that, they were laughing about it.
And again, not necessary.
And the State Department complained, but these people submitted.
State Department employees submitted to that.
Will we submit to this?
Brandon Smith says, Luckily, the COVID agenda failed.
Medical authoritarianism collapsed because conservatives and independents were not on board.
Well, they were. They were not on board after Biden took over.
But they were on board when Trump was there.
You had people like Alex and other people telling you, you know, you need to be on.
This is dangerous. This is coming from a gain-of-function lab in Wuhan.
So be very afraid. You know, Mike Adams, wear your mask so you don't have to get the vaccine.
It's like, come on. Come on.
They're saying the same stuff about the mask that they always say about vaccines.
Your mask doesn't protect you.
Other people's mask doesn't.
Protect you. Your vaccine doesn't protect you.
Other people's vaccine protects you.
It's like, come on, you know better than that.
And so the Trump precedent moved the Overton window.
And when Biden became president, conservatives and independents stopped supporting this because, hey, you know, we don't trust Biden.
So what happens when the political right perceives a true threat?
Or think about it this way.
He doesn't say this because he doesn't want to attack Trump.
Or what about when Trump returns to the presidency, if that happens?
When Trump returns to gaslight us.
And so what Brandon does, he plays out the scenario.
He says, we've got two options here about how they get to civil war in the United States.
And in both of these options, you have a multi-war front that breaks out, and we get drawn into this broad Middle Eastern war.
And so does China.
So does Russia. And so then you have riots, and you have terror attacks become regular occurrences in the U.S., riots because these Marxists don't want us on the side of Israel, and terror attacks because the border is wide open to make sure that can happen.
And so then what happens?
Here's the difference between the two scenarios that Brandon Smith comes up.
He says, well, a draft is initiated which conservatives support in hopes that it will help dissolve the riots.
Draft protests and riots become the norm, pushing conservatives to support even stricter enforcement.
Essentially the Vietnam model, right?
I remember when that was happening, the draft ended just as I graduated high school.
And I remember watching all of this stuff and watching my family and everybody else.
They identified with the people who were patriotic and said, I'll follow my government, whatever they do, and followed them into a meat grinder.
And then I saw the reaction of the people who weren't going to go into the draft, who weren't going to go into the war.
The proverbial dirty hippies who are out there pushing against the war.
And that enraged the conservatives.
And it made them support a war that they should have never supported.
A war that was turning the people that they loved.
Into dead bodies.
And they supported it.
Because, you know, we're going to...
Those liberals don't want us to have a war.
Then I'm going to have a war.
I mean, you know, that type of reactionary thing.
That's what you can't fall into.
You can't fall in. Don't lose sight of what's really going on here.
And I've seen America lose sight of what's really going on here.
And both the left and the right got it wrong.
Anyway, this, I think, would be the scenario with a President Trump.
You know, conservatives would get all into it.
Martial law would be announced.
He's itching to do that, for real.
I don't say for real.
I mean, medical martial law was real enough, wasn't it?
But I mean, martial law using the army against his enemies.
Trump is aching to do that.
Nikki Haley said, I finally agreed with something Nikki Haley said.
She said, Trump is all about drama and vendetta.
Yes. As Ty Cobbs, his former lawyer, said, he is incapable of acting except in his own perceived interest and out of revenge.
So, martial law has announced soldiers used on American soil to quote-unquote protect us from riots and terrorists, you know, just as the public health bureaucrats were there to protect us against the virus.
Terrorists will be primarily foreign nationals, illegal migrants, giving an easy shot at citizenry if they join the military and put the boot down on dissent, and the Constitution will die.
And with a whimper, so to speak, not so much maybe as a civil war, but there'll be parts of a civil war.
Then the second option, we also get drawn into this war in the Middle East.
The second option, this would be if Biden is president, I think.
Conservatives refused to comply.
Just as they were compliant with Trump, with all this superstitious Simon Says garbage.
But then when Biden got in there, it's like, are you kidding me?
That's crazy. The same kind of flip that we saw Biden and the liberals.
I'm not taking any Trump vaccine.
Well, I wouldn't take a vaccine that he did.
And then as soon as Biden gets elected, we've all got to take it.
You've got to take it, too. The country is then hit with an endless series of terror attacks, each one of them presented as a reason why the public must back the war.
Each attack is chaired by leftist activists as an act of decolonization.
Conservatives see this ploy for what it is, still refuse to support the war, taking an America-first position.
Why fight overseas when it's America that's under duress?
And I don't see this happening again unless it's a Democrat.
They'll fall in line if it's a Republican president.
So if a Republican president, it'll be option A. If it's a Democrat, it'll be option B. Biden still attempts martial law.
He offers automatic citizenship to illegal immigrants if they serve in the military.
He uses some of these troops as an occupation presence at home.
Leftists don't want to fight in the Middle East.
But they do like to see migrants given easy citizenship, and they figure if the migrants fill the ranks of the military, then they won't have to be drafted.
But conservatives rebel, and America enters either balkanization or civil war, or both.
Patriots are accused of helping the enemies of the U.S., and are also labeled terrorists.
And from this point on, anything could happen.
He says, I believe, this is Brandon Smith, I believe the Israeli trigger may be bigger than COVID in terms of potential global disaster and the global tyranny that it could unfold.
I would argue that the only thing that will save America at this point is the growth of an America First movement.
But when we come back, we're going to talk about whether or not There's anybody, certainly in Washington, that supports an America First movement.
Before we go to break, KWD-68 COVID was definitely training in a test.
America failed the test, but performed the training.
Yep. Sheep.
Republicans aren't even controlled opposition.
They oppose nothing.
Exactly. We're going to talk about that when we come back.
We're going to talk about the new speaker and how he is rapidly moving toward that direction.
Audi, Modern Retro Radio, says, Correct, David.
Trump kept the war machine in business.
And there are Trump lovers who refer to Donald as a peacetime president.
I heard everything here.
Angus Mustang replied and said, I can't believe the Trumpsters still can't see how screwed this country over and pushed right to the edge of the drain.
Yeah. Thank you for the tip.
Jason Barker, thank you very much.
He says, good morning, David.
Can we get a gas gauge update?
It's the end of the month. We are still not past 75%.
We have picked up about 20%, so we're in the low 70s.
And we got a little bit of money last week that I haven't entered in yet, but it doesn't really move the gauge too much.
So that's where we are.
Again, I'll just remind people that we're donor-supported, especially when we pull the commercials for Pride Month, and that really hasn't come back yet.
So that was a big thing. If you want to help us, Like the broadcast.
And please share it with other people.
Those things will help us with visibility.
And if you want to help us, listen to the commercials.
I don't know what the commercials are.
I don't really track them.
But that helps a little bit if you don't have any money.
And I understand things are difficult for people right now.
But if you listen to it and listen to commercials, that helps us a little bit more.
If you listen to the podcast on Spreaker, Spreaker pays more if you download it from them than if you get it through some of the other places out there like iTunes.
Of course, it's not available on Spotify.
We do have at TheDavidKnightShow.com, we have links to where you can find it on most of the platforms, as well as links to where you can find the full show on video, as well as cuts that we put on video as well.
A few more comments here before we take a break.
NoTruthInThem says, none of them are real wars for real reasons.
If we wanted to annihilate a country conventionally, we could.
But wars are played.
They're not fought. Yeah, that's been the way that it's been, really, since the Korean War.
You know, police action, Truman said.
Ability Cat Part 2.
If nukes start dropping, the whole world will be screwed.
Yeah, Angus Mustang. The aircraft carrier is or has already become obsolete, replaced by cruise missiles the same way the carrier replaced the battleship.
Yeah, and then the question becomes drones and drone swarms.
I mean, what's happening right now, these are very crude, amateur, like, improvised explosives and things like that.
But, again, Daniel Suarez's book, Kill Decision, was it?
Yeah. Really interesting.
Wargaming, what happens when you have swarms of autonomous killer drones?
Does that make the aircraft carrier obsolete?
Can it respond to all of those things all at once?
Angus Mustang. I just read that one.
Jason Barker. Look on the horizon for drone carriers.
Yeah, there'll be boats that will carry fleets of swarm drones.
Exactly right. Syrian girl.
Guess we can't put high heels on the ground.
And expect to come out on top.
No? No?
Are you guys ready for war?
You got your makeup on and your high heels on?
Jason Parker, the laughter in the room makes me sick.
We're talking of at least five years of war when they laugh.
That's right. Yeah.
KWD-68, I had a friend of mine tell me about drones about two inches square that carried a single.22 shell.
They fly to the enemy's heads, fire the shell in the brain.
As a matter of fact, they did like one of those TED Talk things where they were showing that targeted assassinations like that.
Multiple delivery methods.
That was years ago. And before Trump, you know, he did something bigger and better.
The best killer drones ever at warp speed.
And, yeah, our military is dressed to kill.
Yeah, that's exactly right.
Cross-dressed to cross borders.
That's what we are, I guess.
We'll be right back.
The Common Man.
The Common Man.
They created common core to dumb down our children.
They created common past to track and control us.
Their commons project to make sure the commoners own nothing.
And the communist future.
They see the common man as simple, unsophisticated, ordinary.
But each of us has worth and dignity created in the image of God.
That is what we have in common.
That is what they want to take away.
Their most powerful weapons are isolation, deception, intimidation.
They desire to know everything about us while they hide everything from us.
It's time to turn that around and expose what they want to hide.
Please share the information and links you'll find at TheDavidKnightShow.com Thank you for listening.

You must remember what Amalek has done to you, says our Holy Bible.
And we do remember and we are fighting our brave troops and combatants who are now in Gaza or around Gaza and in all other regions in Israel are joining this chain of Jewish heroes, a chain that has...
It started 3,000 years ago from Joshua Benoun until the heroes of 1948, the Six-Day War, the 73 October War, and all other wars in this country.
Our hero troops, they have one supreme main goal, to completely defeat the murderous enemy and to guarantee our existence in this country.
We've always said, never again.
Never again.
Is now. Okay.
A religious war that we're going to get in the middle of.
And our new speaker vowed to support the war in Israel.
That was his first act.
He said, well, whatever happened to America first?
No, our first act is to go to war for Israel.
And then there were a couple of glimmers of hope with him.
He had been strongly opposed to Ukraine.
Why are we getting involved in this?
Why are we sending money to this?
And yet, we see the new speaker, Mike Johnson, come around very quickly to supporting the Ukraine war.
We can't allow Vladimir Putin to prevail in Ukraine because I don't believe it would stop there.
And it would probably encourage and empower China to perhaps make a move on Taiwan.
We have these concerns.
We're not going to abandon them.
We want to be cooperative.
We need to work together on this.
But we owe it to the people to know what the plan is, where the money is going to be spent, and we need some auditing for the dollars that we've already sent over there.
These are not tough questions, right?
One thing that House Republicans are resolved on is that we must stand with our most important ally in the Middle East, and that's Israel.
We will. We certainly hope that it doesn't come to boots on the ground.
If it comes to that, and we communicated this to the White House staff as well today, that, you know, we have the Article I power in the legislative branch of government, and they have Article II. They have very limited authority on what they can do to respond without coming to Congress to seek consent.
And even my Democrat colleagues, Sean, that are at committees of jurisdiction understand this, and the Foreign Affairs Committee, And you've had comments made by the leaders of Iran that they themselves may get involved in a conflict.
If that happens, correct me if you think I'm wrong, I would say all bets are off in the Middle East.
We could have a full-out war in the Middle East, Israel at the center of it, and at that point, if Israel's existence is put in jeopardy, I don't think Prime Minister Netanyahu, who I've known for almost 30 years, I don't think there's anything he won't do to preserve and protect his country from people that have committed their lives to destroy it.
He has to do that.
And around here, people throw around the phrase existential threat.
They have an existential threat every day.
I mean, their neighbors want to eliminate them and wipe them off the map.
So Prime Minister Netanyahu is resolved.
I've spent time with him personally.
I know him as well.
I think he's a strong leader at this important time, and I think he's going to do what is necessary.
And America will back him up.
I mean, they tell us, when we're in Israel, and you've been there, they say the reason that we are able to sustain ourselves and survive is because everyone knows that our big ally is America.
We know that Iran is directly tied to all this.
These are, Hamas and Hezbollah are proxies of Iran.
And they're tied in now with Russia and China.
I mean, it is a new axis of evil.
That's how we see it, and so it has to be addressed 40 minutes.
If Israel, with all the funding of terror and all these terror organizations, are they within their right to fight back and go directly at Iran?
Of course. As you noted, the first act of my speakership is that we pass that resolution to articulate that and make it very clear where we stand.
The House is back in business and we're going to stand with Israel.
Two guys now, two war hawks, and of course, Speaker Mike Johnson goes on with Sean Hannity, knowing that this guy is as much of a war hawk, a warmonger as Lindsey Graham.
Lindsey Graham's never been to war.
Sean Hannity's never been to war.
Mike Johnson's never been to war.
But they want to send you and your kids to die, and they want to bring the war to us.
They've got their bunkers in Washington and the rest of the stuff, but they want to bring the war to this country as well.
So disappointing.
You want to talk about the axis of evil?
Well, it's not just Moscow, Beijing, and Tehran.
It's also Washington, CNN, and Fox News.
That axis of evil.
As the CIA is pulling the strings for these people.
Hamas and Hezbollah are proxies of Iran, and they're tied now with Russia and China.
This is a new axis of evil, says the new speaker.
He said he would like to see more oversight of money for Ukraine, but you know, that may not happen.
That won't be a requirement to give more money to Ukraine.
Amazing how quickly he changed, isn't it?
How malleable his principles were.
He said he does support Biden's proposed $105 billion bill to fund the war in Ukraine, Israel's war in Gaza, and to fund Washington's military buildup in the Pacific.
The difference between Kevin McCarthy and the Democrats and this new speaker, that he's going to have separate votes on these things.
Isn't that nice? He's not going to just put them together in one big thing.
They're going to have separate votes on them.
So that's your difference right there.
And there's absolutely no doubt of where this is going to be.
Again, when they had that resolution to support Israel, it was pretty much unanimous.
And no strings attached, we're going to support them, carte blanche, no matter what they do.
You had nine Muslim Marxist squad members, and you had Thomas Massey, who said, I certainly understand what's going on, how we have to come after Hamas, but I'm not going to embrace this and try to start another war.
We can't allow Putin to prevail in Ukraine, you heard him say, after opposing it before, now that he's Speaker.
Well, it doesn't take too long for success to spoil Rock Hudson, does it?
Or Rock Hunter. I think it was Rock Hudson who was in that movie, but yeah.
Will success spoil him?
Well, certainly seems like it.
U.S. boots on the ground may be required to stand with Israel.
He supports Israel directly attacking Iran.
Russia, China, and Iran are now the new axis of evil.
In the words of W., They're evildoers, evildoers.
The speaker is willing to send American troops.
He says, I hope that it doesn't come to boots on the ground.
But he doesn't say, we're not going to do that.
And so, as Brian Shalhavi points out, and I said this earlier, He, I said, he is a, at least he has said that he's a strong Christian.
It seems to be. As somebody said, the way he got the speakership was, first of all, a very nice guy.
He has no enemies.
But also, he hasn't been in Congress that long.
And those two things are not unrelated.
I mean, if you take a stand on something with any principles, you're going to have enemies.
Well, certainly the CIA is not his enemy at this point in time, or the military industrial corporations are not his enemy.
They're fine. They're fine with all that.
So, yeah, he is a Zionist evangelical Christian.
As I said, you know, he's going to, first thing he's going to do Is have a resolution to get us involved in that conflict because of his theology, because of his eschatology, his opinion about the last days.
And I said before, you know, whatever you think is going to happen with Israel, whatever you think is going to happen with the end of the world, it's not our duty to try to make that happen.
It's our duty. God has made it.
That's not his revealed will.
He's told us what he's going to do, but not when and how.
What he's told us to do are to be peacemakers and to make sure that we act in a just way.
And again, it's a very difficult thing to do.
I'm not saying there's easy answers, but these people are pushing for a broad war.
This is beyond, do we go into what kind of military action we're going to support Israel doing, and do we need to support Israel?
They have a lot of military power.
So there was at least some hope that he would continue to oppose the Ukraine war, but that's disappeared now as well.
He said, the first bill I'm going to bring to the floor in a little while, as soon as he announces a speaker, is going to be the support of our dear friend Israel.
He said, we must elect a speaker so the House can take all necessary action to end Hamas forever, he said, before he became speaker.
See, I had not seen anything about this.
I didn't know anything about him. He's been in for four terms.
And I didn't know anything about Mike Johnson.
And my first comment when I saw that, the first thing I saw about Mike Johnson was all of a sudden this guy that I don't know anything about.
I don't know if I follow Congress that closely because, again, they all just stood aside except for Thomas Massey.
They all just stood aside for this lockdown, this medical martial law, pushing these vaccines.
They have been just like the UK Parliament.
We've only got one guy, Andrew Bridgen, who says, let's have an inquiry about these excess deaths.
No, we're not going to do that. And they say, finally, you can give a speech.
And then none of them show up for the speech.
And that's the way these guys have been to us.
And so, yeah, I don't pay much attention to Congress.
They're not on our side.
And so...
When I saw that, you know, he gets elected speaker, and the very first thing he says is that, first thing I'm going to do is to do a resolution to support Israel.
I said, I tweeted it out.
And I said, well, now you know how he got the job.
He's a puppet, a pawn of the military industrial corporations.
As Manchel Havi says, you know, the Christian Zionists will say, they'll quote from Genesis, Blessed are those who bless Israel.
And he said, but here's the full context in Genesis.
The Lord said to Abram, leave your country, your people, your father's household.
Go to the land that I will show you.
I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you, and I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse.
And all nations on earth will be blessed through you.
Have you seen that fulfilled?
Not in the nation of Israel.
You've seen that fulfilled in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Through you, all nations will be blessed.
As Christ said, go and make disciples of all nations.
Which gets me to the Red Cross.
And the fact that, you know, when you look at how hated the cross is, these are people who are at war with God.
And as the Psalms say, why do the nations rage?
And imagine a vain thing.
Why do they rage against the Lord and His anointed, His Christ?
God laughs at this.
But if we go back to 2006, okay, so 17 years ago, the International Federation of the Red Cross and the Red Crescent Movement was admitted in 2006 into Israel.
After decades and decades, the Red Cross is something that was brought about in the 1800s by a Swiss Christian who came up with the Red Cross as an inversion of his country's flag.
In his country, the Swiss flag is a red flag with a white cross on it, so he came up with a white cross with a red flag on it, just inverted it.
Switzerland being a Christian nation, one of the reasons why it stays out of these fights and is neutral.
You know, that along with the citizen militia and other things like that, they're really actually more like America at its founding than we are and have been for quite some time.
But the Red Cross grew out of this Swiss Christians ministry to try to go around and voluntarily help people.
But the Red Cross is not allowed in Muslim countries.
Because a cross is an offense.
They want to allow people to come in and actually provide free medicine, healthcare to them in emergencies.
Can't come in here with a cross.
And the people who ran it said, well, we want to help you.
What can we do? Well, change that cross to a crescent, to a Muslim symbol.
And we'll let you come in and help us.
And they did. And then Israel said, you can't come in and help us if you've got a red cross on your truck.
Well, what can we do to help you?
Change it to a red star of David.
And that's what you see. And you see this on the ambulances from the Mag and David Adam Society, the hospital that's there.
It's King David.
That's what they've named it after.
And you see that and the white ambulance with a red star of David on it.
That's how much they hate Christ and His cross.
That's how much these nations rage against God and His Christ.
And we try to help them.
Anyway, it's just a symbol, isn't it?
And there's always something behind those symbols.
When the left chooses these terms, they choose them to define us.
And when they choose symbols, they do it very, very deliberately.
So going back to Mike Johnson, the speaker, what they focused on over the weekend was not the fact that he was pushing for wars.
That he's pushing to get us involved in the Mideast War.
That he's changed his position as soon as he becomes Speaker of the House to want to go to war against not just Iran, not just Gaza, but also Iran, but also Russia and China as well.
And so when he rapidly metastasizes with all that, the left doesn't criticize that.
The left mainstream media doesn't criticize that.
The Guardian doesn't criticize that.
Instead, they go back and they look at his history.
And they say, this is a guy who supports covenant marriage.
Now why is that an offense?
This is not even something that was targeting homosexual marriage.
This was in 1999.
And that was about 15 years before that came onto the scene, really.
And what it was, was a reaction to...
Casual divorce or no-fault divorce and other things like that.
You know, the general acceptance in our society of divorce.
Mike Johnson came from a family that was divorced, and he did not want to have that for himself and for his kids.
It was devastating for him as a child.
And so his support for covenant marriage and the fact that he's in a covenant marriage was really trying to wake people up as to what was happening to him.
But that is the thing that really sticks in the craw Of the Guardian, of NPR, and the rest of the mainstream media.
They really hate that. Really hate that.
And, you know, when we look at the values of marriage, that's certainly a good thing to stand for that.
What about the values of being a peacemaker?
What about that? The left doesn't care about that.
That's not an issue for them.
And so in 1999, he and his wife got involved in a covenant marriage.
And what is it? But it also says that you can't get a legal divorce.
It makes it harder, essentially.
You can't get a legal divorce, except for the reasons that have always been accepted for divorce.
Infidelity, an adulterated marriage.
Sexual or physical abuse, things like that.
So those were the types of things that you would typically see a divorce allowed for.
And really, who needs it?
Who needs to have the government involved in our marriage definition?
I don't think we need to have government involved in it.
I understand that what they were trying to do was to push back against the culture, but I think the appropriate place to do that is not in the legislature.
I think the appropriate place to do that It's within the church.
And so I understand that they're trying to push back against this no-fault, easy divorce culture that we had, but that's not going to do it in terms of putting a law up.
Anybody that wants to get a divorce will find some way to exercise those options to get out of it.
If you're going to have a covenant marriage, you have to understand that God is going to hold you accountable, not the government.
I have no fear of the government.
I fear God. I don't care about the government.
I don't care about Trump or Biden or any of these other clowns.
They're not going to tell me what to do.
I'm not going to wear their mask, take their injection, or do any of the rest of the stuff they're talking about.
I fear God, not the government.
So if you want a covenant marriage, a covenant before God, And we need to have stronger families and stronger churches, and that's one of the reasons why we're going to be talking to the CEO of Promise Keepers, because you've now got churches that are canceling Promise Keepers because they're talking about faithful marriages.
And so I saw that, and it's like, you know, let's talk about real covenant, a covenant before God about marriage.
That's how our society is coming apart.
Our families are coming apart.
A good example of this, Eric Schmidt, former CEO of Google.
He launched a $100 million company with his girlfriend.
Well, they were dating, and he's married and has been married for 40 years, and they're dating, and he gives her money to start a new company.
Just amazing to me.
When I saw that, it made me think of, you know, one of the reasons why Christianity is held in such low esteem in Europe.
We went to Salzburg in Austria, took the family.
And of course, you know, they have the Sound of Music tour.
We walked around some of the places.
We didn't take the tour.
I don't think we did. Did we take the tour?
I don't remember if we took it. I knew about the tour.
And they took you to various places where they'd film the movie.
But you remember the spot where they're going in the...
They're running around these gardens and stuff.
You know, she makes outfits for them out of curtains and then takes them on this outing and everything.
It was beautiful gardens that were there.
And that palace was built by the bishop of Salzburg.
And again, you know, he was the civil authority as well as the religious authority of that town.
That's the merger of those two things.
And, you know, we did go down in the salt mines, and it was kind of interesting.
They had these long wooden slides that were like a big railing on a stair, if you will.
You know, very slick, highly polished from people sliding down it all the time.
Now, you had to walk your way back up after working all day in the salt mines.
But, you know, in the morning it was kind of fun, you know.
That little thrill. You look forward to going to work.
You get on this thing and go sliding down to get into the salt mines.
These people were literally working in the salt mines.
And, of course, Salzburg means Salt City.
And that was a very, very valuable commodity.
And this bishop, who was the civil as well as the religious head of Salzburg, was getting a lot of money from that.
And personal money.
and he built this lavish palace there for his mistress.
He was supposed to be celibate.
And so that kind of blatant hypocrisy, and that kind of established religion and that close connection between government and religion, and again, government takes over religion, hypocrisy takes over religion when you have that kind of thing.
But pushing back against that type of thing is important not to have that kind of hypocrisy, but it is also important to see some of these other issues.
The House Speaker's views on LGBTQ issues come under fresh scrutiny.
Mainstream media article after mainstream media article.
Again, he makes it clear that his views are not directed at the LGBT, but he says, you know, that's my worldview.
I believe the Bible, and that's what I believe the Bible teaches, and that's what I live by.
He says, I'm not focused.
This is not about the people themselves.
He says, I'm a Bible-believing Christian.
Somebody asked me today in the media, they said, people are curious, what does Mike Johnson think about any issue under the sun?
I said, well, go pick up a Bible off your shelf and read it.
That's my worldview. That's what I believe.
So I make no apologies for it.
And so maybe if he believes the Bible, you know, we're always told to pray for kings and those in authority.
He said, pray for everybody, but especially for kings and those who are in authority.
And of course, some people kind of made a joke of it and said, you know, pray, God, save them or kill them.
But being a Christian, being saved, doesn't necessarily mean you're going to make the right decisions.
It doesn't mean that you're going to be consistent across all these different issues.
You might want to save marriage, but you might also want to destroy Iran and have a world war.
That's a big issue. And so, yes, do pray for kings and for those in authority, like the speaker.
Pray that God will change his heart before he doubles down on destroying the world.
That's, you know, it truly is amazing.
Now, Glenn Greenwald, who is homosexual, who has, with his partner, adopted children and everything, he was very excited about Johnson and his position on the First Amendment.
And there are some very good, you know, he has a big improvement over Kevin McCarthy, no doubt about it.
He's got some issues right.
And he seems to be a man of principle, but that still doesn't mean that he's going to get these decisions right.
So that's why you need to pray for him, that God will make that clear.
But when it comes to speech, Glenn Greenwald said, and he's got a program on Rumble, he played a clip of Johnson, and he was questioning Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas at a congressional meeting in July.
Greenwald said, that person right there, in that video of five minutes, did such an expert job of constructing those questions, who came incredibly prepared, and more so was obviously so passionate.
He said the reason he was enraged, he's talking about Mike Johnson, the reason he was enraged, and the rage was very controlled, it was very focused, it was very substantive, was because Mayorkas was saying over and over, we're here to protect the country from disinformation.
And he refused to say then, who defines what disinformation is?
Because, of course, the answer is, we do.
We, the government, are going to define what is true and false.
Which is a grave violation of the First Amendment, as you can get.
And so then Greenwald continued.
He said, if you had told me three months ago that person was going to be Speaker of the House in three months, the person who just did that, I would have said, please tell me the directions to the parallel universe in which you're residing so I can move there.
Because whatever else is true about this person, and we're going to have disagreements with him, obviously, But the fact that he was able to do that, and not just able to do that, but felt that, believed that, is obviously a gigantic advancement over Kevin McCarthy.
And I agree. It's just this is such an incredible blind spot.
And we have to be very, very concerned about this.
And it is a blind spot that I've seen with many, many Christians.
I'll say one more thing about Johnson, and that is, again, the Guardian immediately attacking him on covenant marriage, immediately attacking him, saying, the House Speaker once won taxpayer funds for Noah's Ark Park that was accused of bias.
Now, every bit of that headline, except for the fact that he won, every bit of that is a lie.
The Guardian is one of the most biased, bigoted, prejudiced publications out there.
And one of the sloppiest in terms of details.
It was a graphic illustration of his uncompromising right-wing Christian beliefs.
And so the reality is that answers in Genesis, if you haven't seen it, the Ark Encounter, I think it is, is excellent.
I highly recommend it.
One of the best attractions we've ever gotten.
It really is amazing to see it.
It was built.
It's all made out of wood.
It was built by Amish carpenters that they brought in.
But the whole thing is set up as a museum.
And it's set up to show how this is feasible.
But it goes way beyond that as well.
It is a Christian ministry as well.
But it is very interesting to see, and I think people will be interested in it if they doubt the Bible.
Again, Answers in Genesis has their Creation Museum, and then this is the second museum that they put in.
And they had been given tax incentives as every tourist attraction is given in the state of Kentucky.
And we're not talking about a situation where the government comes in and gives hundreds of millions of dollars or billions of dollars to some billionaire to build a sports stadium.
It's not that. That's the way they're trying to make this sound.
It's not that at all.
What it is, and I believe they don't get into the specifics of what the tax thing was, but it was a program that was offered to everybody, not just to Answers in Genesis.
And I believe what it was was a rebate, a rebate, partial rebate on sales tax that they collect for a period of time.
That's something that they extend to every tourist attraction to help them to get started.
And so that was the situation.
That was the law. That was extended to every attraction.
And then you had Bashir, who became the governor of Kentucky, one of the worst lockdown tyrants we had, without a doubt.
And he has a very unhinged leftist hatred of Christians and uncompromising in it.
And so Bashir said, well, it's become clear that they intend to use religious beliefs as a litmus test for hiring decisions.
That's right. It's a Christian ministry, and they hire Christians.
And he has a problem with that.
Oh, well, that messes up the separation of church and state.
No, it doesn't. You're just not taxing.
It's the same argument that you would use to say, well, we're going to...
Not give tax exemptions to anyone because of their religious beliefs.
And that's exactly what Johnson called out.
Again, it's not like giving somebody money to build a sports stadium or something.
Johnson said this is viewpoint discrimination, and he was right.
He said they have decided to exclude this organization from a tax rebate program that is offered to all applicants across the state.
Just as every rational person understands the Commonwealth is not somehow endorsing the consumption of alcohol when it approved tax refunds for a beer distillery tour project in 2012, that the government is not endorsing the speech of every stand-up comedian or adult-themed entertainer who may fill the stage of one of the entertainment venues previously approved, there is also no valid argument that the Commonwealth will somehow endorse the private religious speech or viewpoints that are expressed at the Ark Encounter Park.
And so he prevailed in that.
He pointed out, you're giving this to all kinds of businesses.
Everyone. And you want to take this out because you don't like the viewpoints that are here.
So he's very intelligent.
He's got some very strong beliefs that he's been consistent in.
Except now he appears to be moving very rapidly.
Into this war with Ukraine, which he had always opposed.
He's moving in the wrong direction.
And then bringing in China as well at the same time.
If we go back to Daniel, as he said, you know, when he took office, he said, God raises up and deposes political leaders.
Well, that's right. He changes times and seasons.
He removes kings. He sets up kings.
He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.
He said that. And so that should be our prayer for him.
God, give him wisdom and compassion.
Wisdom and compassion to keep us out of war.
We'll be right back. You're
listening to The David Knight Show.
All right. And Alan Vijay, thank you very much.
That's very generous. I appreciate that.
A tip on Rockfin, right?
Angry Tiger, thank you for the tip.
And he says, exactly, David, we cannot sit on our hands and chalk it up to prophecy.
The Lord will ask when we see him what we did.
What did we do to try to bring about peace?
Exactly right. That is very clear.
And that is his revealed will.
How and when and what he's going to do exactly.
He has not revealed that to us.
A Syrian girl, thank you for the tip.
She says, you're right. We need to leave Israel to God.
He has plans for them. We shouldn't fight against them or destroy ourselves trying to work out our own will for Israel's future.
That's right. We get involved in this, we may wind up doing the wrong thing.
God will make that happen one way or the other, with or without our help, even if we get in and mess things up.
But it is clear what he wants us to do.
There's no question about what his revealed will is.
Let's talk a little bit about the Second Amendment and follow up to this shooter story.
Oh, we got one more here.
Let's see. This is, and I'll get to some of the comments here in a moment as well.
Spumford, thank you very much for the tip.
I appreciate that very much.
Thank you. It's been a while since I've been here.
God bless you and your family, Mr.
Knight. In Sharon, Massachusetts recently, I saw two churches with huge LGBT flags hung proudly on their facades.
Still shaking my head.
That's right. Again, like George Barna said, if you haven't seen that interview, if it's been a while, I interviewed George Barna and he said, you know, when you look at the people who identify themselves as Christians or evangelicals, he said only about 4% of them, even if they call themselves that, Actually really pay attention to what God tells him in the Bible.
Live it on a daily basis.
So, yeah, he's been around long enough that he asks a few more questions to see, well, exactly what do you do in your life?
And to see what characterizes your life.
Look, we all make mistakes.
But there's certain things that we jump into that we repeat over and over again.
Those are the things that characterize our lives.
And that really is, it isn't that we live perfect lives.
Nobody lives a perfect life.
But does that characterize the way you live your life?
That's the question you should be asking yourself.
I talked about this shooter, and I said, well, you know, he was taken into a hospital for a couple of weeks.
And he had suicidal thoughts and he was hearing voices and all the rest of the stuff.
I said, nobody wants to ask what treatments he got.
Nobody wants to ask what drugs he got.
But I can pretty much guarantee you that he got SSRIs.
I've talked about this. And I have a listener who...
And I talked about the website SSRI Stories.
And it is SSRIstories.org.
SSRIstories.org That used to be, the other one, used to be their website.
And I interviewed her years and years ago.
And now there's new people running it.
And this listener in Canada, Saki, says, I've been trying to leave these comments maybe on some of the video channels or something.
And I don't have the time.
There's so many different places where there's comments.
It's hard for me to even keep up with the The main ones that we look at, which are the email comments, and we try to keep up with the comments on Subscribestar.
But it's difficult to keep up with those.
So, yeah, I didn't see those, and so she finally sent it to me as an email.
And so thank you for sending this, and let me make that correction.
SSRIStories.org will show thousands of stories.
There are over between 7,000 and 8,000 stories right now.
Of what has happened to people with these drugs that they leave on the market.
You want to ban something? Forget about banning a particular type of gun.
Ban this particular type of drug.
It is a weapon. And this drug has been involved in far more murder-suicides than any weapon, or all weapons combined.
But again, it's pharmaceutical companies, and nobody wants to touch the pharmaceutical companies.
So SSRIstories.org, they've done a great job of cataloging that.
I had a recent interview with them, but I remembered the website from years and years ago that's now changed.
So three weeks before this main shooter's threats, they were identified, the police were identified.
They said, well, this is just kind of a generic thing.
Oh, really? So this happens all the time?
Somebody having voices and talking about shooting up a base or whatever?
Two local law enforcement chiefs and agencies statewide received an awareness alert about this guy, Card, mid-September after the firearms instructor threatened his base and fellow soldiers, but after Card was not located, despite having increased patrols and even a visit to his home, officials moved on.
We added extra patrols.
We did that for about two weeks, but the guy never showed up.
So, you know, hey, I guess let's treat it the same way, you know.
We had some reports of these people coming on the border.
You know, we've had engagements with this guy before.
He's with these cartels or something, or he's been doing human trafficking and child prostitution.
But, you know, we just can't really locate that stuff.
So we just let him go. You see, maybe you need to be able to defend yourself.
As a matter of fact, that's what one person who was interviewed by CNN wound up saying.
I can't imagine what CNN thought about that.
It must have been a live interviewer that would have cut it out.
So you had a CNN correspondent speak with a local resident about his concerns as police were continuing to search for the suspect that they believed had killed people.
They thought he was at large, but he'd gone somewhere.
Evidently, and shot himself.
And again, a lot of people are suspicious about this.
We should always be suspicious about these shootings.
But, again, focus on the SSRIs.
That's the first thing you need to focus on.
That's not a theory.
I guess you could say it is a conspiracy.
To keep that stuff going.
Conspiracy between the FDA and pharmaceutical companies.
This person said, well, it's just nerves are rattled right now.
I'm keeping an eye on the woods because I know those woods down there.
They run right back here.
I've got my daughter inside.
How old is your daughter? They said, well, 10 years old.
And I've got another one who's working at Walmart.
And I said, well, it actually makes me feel better to see the cops coming around here.
Makes me feel a million times better.
But I wish I had a firearm, he said.
Yeah, because, you know, the police are not always going to be there.
They're going to be there right now. They're going to leave.
They're going to go somewhere else. We see this guy go in to take a hammer, and he's going to use it as a weapon for robbery.
His big mistake was he targeted a gun store.
Don't bring a hammer to a gun store robbery.
He was shot and killed.
I should not be laughing about this, but it is amazingly stupid.
In Livermore, California, a 28-year-old came into the store wearing a mask, gloves, and a hooded sweatshirt pulled over his head.
And... Give me all the money you got in your register.
Instead, he gave him all the bullets and blood that he had in his gun.
I guess. But equally stupid, equally stupid, is Joy Behar.
You have to see this to believe it.
And this is Joy Behar talking about...
Let's see, do we have that in here?
Did I not get that in here?
Um... I guess I don't have it in there, do I? Okay, all right.
It was early morning this morning.
It was hard getting up, so I had a couple of mistakes here, things I didn't put in the deck.
But, huh? Oh, it is.
Okay, that's right. There it is.
Okay. Like I said, I'm tired today.
I put it in as AR-15 instead of as Joy, because Joy just doesn't seem to fit her.
She is so joyless about everything, always complaining.
Here's what she had to say when discussing the mass shootings.
Sarah didn't get a chance to weigh in on the topic of what happened in Maine and AR-15s.
Yeah, I would love to see an assault weapons ban.
Like President Reagan, I don't believe they're a sport or hunting instrument.
It's like shooting fish in a bucket, but that's my take.
But also, if you shoot with an AR-15, let's say you shoot a deer, you can't eat it.
You basically demolish it.
But the hunt is about an actual difficult process, not massacring bodies of any kind.
But my point is, I'd love to see that.
The AR-15 has achieved an image of such proportion in their minds that they think of it as like an RPG or something, you know?
I mean, it's this military weapon that just blows everything up everywhere.
If you shoot a deer, you can't even eat it.
There's nothing left. It's completely, you basically demolish it, she said.
Well, in this report from Zero Hedge, oh, you see it on Zero Hedge, and they had another video that was embedded, which was a couple of guys discussing, is it ethical?
To shoot deer with an AR-15.
I said, well, it kind of depends on the ammunition.
You know, if you've got ammunition that's meant to penetrate, you know, you're going to shoot the deer up and you're not necessarily going to kill it.
It needs to deform and cause more damage because you don't want to wound an animal.
You know, that's the big thing.
I don't hunt, but that's the big thing the hunters tell me.
So, then you got to wound it.
It doesn't die. You got to track this thing down.
And then you got to carry it back.
And that's a big...
So, you want to drop it right there for humane purposes, but also, you know, for your own benefit.
Ten states restrict hunting with a.223 or a.556 round.
That is, they're commonly used in an AR, a.15.
because they're not powerful enough to kill and could wound versus killing the game.
But 40% of hunters use modern sporting rifles, which they call assault weapons.
But they say, as they point out, the 223 was introduced as an alternative to the 7.62 NATO round due to its ability to be manufactured quickly and inexpensively and in part because it is less lethal.
Rendering an enemy incapacitated in battle versus killing them.
And so, again, you want to, not because they care, but wounded people are more of a problem for the enemy than just killing them, which is one of the reasons why the pharmaceutical industry and the powers that be work so much to wound us with their drugs and vaccines.
Because now as people are incapacitated and harmed by these vaccines, we have to kill them.
We have to not kill them.
We have to take care of them.
If they killed them, it would be, you know, more obvious.
But they do not want to do that.
But I thought this was a great comment somebody left.
Here's a picture. He says, here's a photo...
AR-15 bullet that she's referring to.
I use it for shooting rats.
And he's got something that's about five feet long.
And he's holding that.
Here's my AR-15 bullet, he says.
Because, you know, you hit the deer with that, there's just nothing left.
Okay. And in this Zero Hedge article, they have other reminders of Joy Behar's ignorance.
Three of them. Here's the headlines.
Joy Behar faces ridicule for saying, quote, once black people get guns in this country, the gun laws will change.
Another one. The View co-host Joy Behar claims crime is, quote, going down, unquote, under Biden.
And then Peak Delusion, Joy Behar says that she'll break from CDC guidance and wear a mask inside indefinitely.
Yeah, indefinitely. Maybe it should change the name of the show to The Spew instead of The View because she does the spew nonsense that's there.
By the way, we're talking about ammunition, not just that really big one that you saw there, but the real stuff, 5.56 Ammo and others.
Prices have surged 40% in one week.
Because of concerns about the war.
And also I think because people are seeing what is happening here in the U.S. between the open borders and between the open minds and these universities that have been propagandized into becoming useful little youthful idiots.
Besides Israel, Hamas, and the Ukraine war, Americans are looking at U.S. cities that are imploding because they're governed by radical progressives who could care less about law and order.
Yeah. So, and as I point out, don't forget that when it hits the fan, the government is not going to be there to protect you, just like they weren't there before.
To do anything about the shooter, who is telling everybody, I've got voices in my head, I'm going to shoot the base up, and all of a sudden, they can't seem to do anything about it.
David Hogg, by the way, has now reverted back to form.
He had a brief moment of sanity when he spoke out against Governor Grisham in New Mexico, who decided that she was going to use the medical martial law to do gun control.
He said, you can't do that.
But now, after that brief moment of sanity, he's now reverted to type.
And he said, So, again,
his bigotry against white women, as he's completely oblivious to the murder rates, In Democrat areas such as Memphis, Tennessee, New Orleans, Richmond, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Detroit, Chicago, the rest of these places. You see, the problem is he's got everything wrong.
It's not white women, Republicans in the suburbs.
It is Democrat-run cities where you have black men who are shooting everybody in the Democrat-run cities.
But he doesn't, he absolutely does not get it.
And then when you look at Hochul, Hochulberry, as Salenti calls her, the New York governor, she banned body armor for New Yorkers.
But when she goes to Israel to virtue signal, she's wearing exactly the same body armor that she banned for everybody else.
Isn't that amazing?
That's just one of the many things.
As a matter of fact, there's about two dozen things in this article from Bearing Arms that she has done to try to infringe on the Second Amendment.
But again, how in the world do you justify...
Uh, banning something that is completely defensive, right?
Uh, again, they want to say, well, you got somebody who's a shooter, they're going to put this stuff on and be harder to kill them.
Uh, well, actually, no.
Uh, but it does make it harder for them to kill other people.
Um, NC residents.
North Carolina residents argue that zoning changes are infringing on their Second Amendment.
This is an interesting case because these are some people in the High Point area of North Carolina who are pushing against a school being built in their area because they said these federal laws that ban people carrying guns within a thousand feet of a school, you know, because it's a sensitive area or whatever, That's going to essentially ban us from having our guns that we have for our own benefit.
So, an interesting back and forth between that.
And it just underscores the insanity of these gun laws.
So we're going to take a quick break, and when we come back, we'll look at some of your comments, but we're also going to take a look at climate and also some headline news that's going to reflect on who our guest is going to be.
We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
And now, The David Knight Show.
Some of the comments here.
Narrow Way, Narrow Gate Ministry says Netanyahu the other week presented a map of the new Middle East showing Israel in blue.
Notably, the Gaza Strip and the West Bank were solid blue.
The Zionists, he says, are telegraphing their intentions.
Yeah, that is very clear.
He's called it the Second War of Independence, and again, portraying their opponents as Amalekites, which I don't think that holds up in terms of...
Actually tracing their lineage.
You know, we do go back and we look at the way they cut up the Middle East after World War II. The creation of Iraq and Iran.
You know, the Iranians were for the most part Persian.
The Iraqis were Babylonians.
You go back to the ancient times.
And then the Kurds.
We're the Medes.
But of course, they didn't give the Kurds their homeland.
They're stuck in, you know, partly stuck in Iraq and partly stuck in Iran, and that's been a continual fight with all of them at the same time.
So the whole place is at war with each other and with God, frankly.
And here in America, we are in the throes of a full-bore communist revolution.
This is Dave Kapulian.
And of course, this is what Biden and the left have done.
We've got these people who see everything in terms of race and privilege, they say.
But it is really about their bias, their hate, their racism.
They project this onto other people, and they call us colonizers.
And they think that anything is justified in order to do that.
And when you look at the revolution, this fourth turning that we're involved in, and again, you remember previous fourth turnings, Great Depression, World War II, prior to that, Civil War, prior to that, the American Revolution.
Strauss and Howe went back 500 years, looking at this pattern of about every 80 years, people lose all confidence in their institutions.
But of course, the Civil War, Was not about slavery, per se.
That was one facet of it, but that wasn't the fundamental thing.
That fourth turning was about the Industrial Revolution.
It was about changing from agrarian societies to industrial societies.
As I pointed out, it was not just in America.
It was also in South America.
It was also in Italy.
Garibaldi's army and the rest of that at 1861 in Italy.
At the same time, they had a civil war.
That was about the consolidation, the construction of the nation state.
You did have what most countries were like prior to that.
You had decentralized power.
The agrarian, the people who had big farms and plantations and things like that, not just in the U.S., but also in Italy, they didn't have any slavery there.
But the power base was decentralized.
And to regional areas, and it was an agrarian society, as they were changing into an industrial society, they created the nation state, and part of that was a civil war.
And if you don't understand that, you don't understand American history, and you don't understand the fourth turning and all the rest of this stuff.
And you don't understand that they're in the midst of doing the same thing now as well.
When you look at this insurrection act that they hit people for January the 6th, that was an act, as I've pointed out before, that was put in at the end of the Civil War.
It was there to keep people from holding office, but of course, they were tired of the killing at that point in time.
And they did not want to throw people in jail or do anything that was going to start it back up again.
And so even though there had been, in their terms, the way they couched it, an insurrection, I see it as a war of northern aggression.
And it was a defensive war, in my opinion, what happened with it.
Regardless of what you say about the slavery issue, it was an offensive war for the creation of the nation-state, done in the interest of the industrialists.
But they were tired of war.
They didn't want it then. They do want war now.
They want a civil war. They want to bring in groups of people from countries that we're at war with, groups of people that do not want to be a part of our society, and they're hoping that as they deliberately make things tough for us, as they take our society down, they're hoping that these different ethnic groups that they're bringing in are going to fight each other.
And a good example of this Is what NPR and the Washington Post especially was very excited about the fact that as they removed the statue of Robert E. Lee, and understand that you've seen this everywhere, right?
When they would go in and they would overthrow the government of...
Saddam Hussein. They would tear down his statues and destroy them.
When the communists took over their country, they would do it.
It's an act of dominance.
When Islam goes into an area, they tear down the church or they tear down the synagogues and they put up a mosque.
It is marking their territory.
It is an act of dominance, of conquest.
It is part of a revolution.
And that's what's really behind all of these removals of statues everywhere.
And it's not just about people who were involved in the Confederacy.
But it is especially directed at Robert Lee.
Somebody who we would do well to have somebody of his character and intelligence.
We don't have anybody like that now.
Not in the United States.
And so they made a big issue out of destroying the statue.
First they took it down. They didn't want to sell it.
They wanted to destroy it.
And so they took pictures.
Here they are. They've cut the head off the statue.
Now they're cutting the head into two pieces.
And this is put out by the Washington...
Sorry, that's the wrong one.
The Burning of Lee is not there, but they actually...
It is?
Okay. Okay, there we go.
Look at that. So there they are, melting it up.
There's the glowing face of the statue of Robert Lee.
And the people who do this, the people who tear down statues...
Want to tear down and burn our society?
Because those are totems, if you will, emblems of our history, of our past.
And you should remember that at the end of the Civil War, Robert E. Lee was honored by people North and South.
Of course, in the South, they were naming all kinds of things after him, but they were in the North as well.
And in the North, they had a lot of different companies that went to Robert E. Lee and wanted him to endorse the product.
Why did they like him? Well, first of all, they admired his military genius, but also because he ended the war.
He refused to prosecute it.
When he saw that it wasn't possible for them to win by conventional means, they could have prolonged this into a guerrilla war, which is what Nathan Bedford Forrest wanted to do.
He could have had a prolonged asymmetric war, a guerrilla war.
There had already been a lot of guerrilla war in Missouri and Kansas.
At the beginning of the war and as it continued there.
But he didn't want to have a continuing war.
He said, there's been enough killing.
And he stopped it.
And he was a man of great character when he went to West Point as a student.
His fellow students called him the Marble Man.
Didn't have a single demerit while he was there and a system that is designed to give you demerits.
He eventually became the superintendent of West Point.
Some of the reasons why he had success, because he taught all these guys that he was fighting.
He knew them. But again, they have torn down this statue.
They are melting it, and they are going to use the metal to create some statue of their own.
It's probably going to be some abstract garbage.
But they're going to melt it down and create another statue.
And as the person who was speaking for BLM said, people are willing to die for symbols.
And as we saw in Charlottesville, they're willing to kill for them too, they said, from their perspective.
Well, let me tell you, these people who were tearing down the symbols of our history and our country, Rather than looking for what we can learn and the good accomplishments of people, they just want to find something they can tear everything down with, they are willing to die and kill for symbols as well.
And what they did to that statue of Robert E. Lee is just a picture of what they want to do to our society.
Melting it down will take weeks.
It weighed nearly 10,000 pounds.
Organizers said the next step will be choosing an artist who will craft the bronze ingots into a new art form.
To be displayed in Charlottesville.
It'll be some dumbed-down abstract art.
Well, we have, as this is all happening, a Subscribestar article from Raw Egg Nationalist says, there is a new op-ed where the academics are pushing the idea of female prehistoric hunters.
Yes, that's right.
She who controls the past controls the future.
It wasn't the cavemen who went out as hunters and gatherers and did the hunting and everything.
No, it was the women who did that.
A new study, an American anthropologist, said the ideological purpose is clear to prove physical equality between the sexes and that any attempt to deny such equality is bigotry.
Plain and simple. Well, maybe they have missed this whole thing about transports.
You know? What happens with all these trans...
You've got people who can't compete at all against other men.
And they put on some makeup and a dress and say, I'm a woman.
And all of a sudden, you know, they're skunking these people who have...
We've been winning the competition for years.
I mean, it's ludicrous.
This was part of the propaganda.
I remember when they pushed this very hard with Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs.
And it was rigged. He had been involved in another one.
He skunked the current woman's champion in a tennis game.
Then they set that up and everybody was saying that he threw the contest.
And later on, there was a third, one of these battle of the sexes in tennis.
And that was Jimmy Connors.
And he beat one of the top female or the top female player at the time.
It wasn't even close. But now we see this all the time.
And it is clearly obvious.
But in spite of that, the matriarchy pushers are going to be pushing that it was the cave women who did all the hunting and gathering.
You know, we have Kevin Sorbo, who used to play Hercules on TV, but of course...
I never watched that, but I remember him for his narration of The Procedure, that animated film that depicts abortion, as we told by an ultrasound technician who witnessed this, didn't know that he was coming in on that.
But he says, it's time for Geist to start acting like real men again.
So he's producing movies and books to get that message across.
And that's what we're going to have with our guest today, someone who is telling men what their role is.
Their role is to keep their promises and to be the head of a family and to take the reins of being a man.
But the churches don't even want to hear that anymore.
So he's getting canceled left and right in the churches.
By the way, here in Tennessee, you've got a couple of state representatives.
John Rose, Scott Desjardins, I think if I pronounced his name correctly.
They're upset because the U.S. Department of Agriculture is trying to destroy the Tennessee walking horse industry.
What are they involved in this for?
I mean, you know, horse meat? I mean, what is the deal with this?
The Department of Agriculture, the USDA, Unbelievably tyrannical and trying to destroy it.
And again, look, they shouldn't have any jurisdiction over this.
But they have proposed a rule to essentially shut down the Tennessee walking horse industry.
This is not about food.
This is about coming after people who live in rural areas to shut that down so they can force everybody to live in the cities.
You want to take away your ability to earn a living.
None of this is about CO2. It's not about nitrogen.
It's not about the Tennessee walking horses.
This is simply about them taking everything from you.
And so we see the left-stream media, Business Insider, of course, this propaganda rag, Funded by Jeff Bezos, who owns the Washington Post, telling us universal basic income is working, even in red states.
No, it isn't.
It's not working.
Unless you are trying to breed dependency and trying to find a way to pacify the people who would normally be upset about it.
If that's what the purpose of it is, well, then it is working.
But again, Business Insider, Matt Drudge, pushing the idea that universal basic income is good, that it's working, that it even works in Republican areas.
That is absolutely a lie.
But that is really what the lockdown was about as well.
Richard Williams, thank you very much for the tip.
He says, I'm still waiting for the David Knight Remember the Shot t-shirts.
That's right. Yeah, who gave you the shot?
I should do that. Truck Driver Ron, thank you very much.
I appreciate the tip. By the way, that reminds me, Truck Driver, not Truck Driver Ron, but another truck driver, MJ Nichols, went on with Jason Barker, and they talked about what is happening in the trucking industry.
And that's something that affects all of us, not just people who work in the trucking industry, because everything we get is dependent on that.
And just to clarify as well, MJ Nichols is not the MJ that I referred to the other day.
He also sent me an email.
So there's a couple of different MJs, but that is a good broadcast if you haven't seen that.
That's Jason Barker and MJ Nichols.
Got a lot of comments here.
Astounding Info says USA creates so many problems and then goes to war to cover up their road Apple mentality.
No Truth in Them says, a rule of thumb for military tech is at least 20 years ahead of the public's knowledge.
Grammy for God says, it's never the people, it's always the leaders.
KWD 68, America leads the world in military drag shows.
There we go. It's a drag race to the bottom, I guess, is the word it is.
Opossum King. The U.S. military is beaten by farmers wearing bedsheets and sandals.
LOL. That's about right.
See, that's the whole thing. And I said that, you know, when Biden was bragging about his ability to take away our guns.
We got nuclear weapons and we got jets and all that kind of stuff.
It's like, oh, that didn't work for you in Afghanistan, did it?
That's the whole thing. That's the whole thing about asymmetric warfare.
And it's also the big concern about why Gaza is going to be, you know, as Petraeus said, could be Mogadishu on steroids.
Supposedly 300 miles of tunnels under this 140 square mile area.
So, yeah, it is going to be a killing field there, I think.
Rick Sanchez, New Mexico.
If COVID-19 is real, it is in the government's best interest for the opposition to think that it is fake.
Saying COVID-19 is fake is on par with the jabs containing graphene oxide controlled by 5G. Are we adding false details?
I've had a lot of people who took issue with my position that the pandemic is not real.
And no basis for it whatsoever.
No medical basis for it.
And I stand by that. And I'll tell you why I stand by that.
I understand that people got very bad respiratory illnesses.
As a matter of fact, in 2019, Karen and I both got very, very sick.
I missed a couple of weeks of work.
It's one of the reasons why I didn't go to Toronto to do a report on the failed 5G city funded by Google up there called Sidewalk Labs.
I understand that these things go around.
I got very sick in 2019 with what they call the swine flu.
We have different strains of flu that go around all the time.
This is the first time anybody said, well, you know, we have so many people who have died from this, and I saw this game every year.
Every year. That's why I had so much contempt for what was being done at InfoWars.
Because every year they would play this game.
Oh, this is the worst flu we've ever seen, and you've all got to go get your flu shot, and all the rest of this kind of stuff.
And it's like, well... Does your flu shot work?
You created these flu shots well before there was any strain of flu that manifested itself.
Some years are worse than others.
What was different about 2020?
Was the fact that they had a protocol that was designed for politics, for psychological effect, and designed to kill people.
To withhold from them any treatment, and then eventually to withhold very effective treatments like ivermectin and HCQ and zinc, which is the active ingredient.
They would do these things where they say, well, we gave people hydroxychloroquine.
They didn't get better. Well, you have to give them zinc at the same time.
Hydroxychloroquine helped your body to assimilate the zinc.
So yes, we have flu every year.
It's a big killer. It's just that nobody was diagnosed with flu that year.
And so this narrative to say that this is something that was done by gain of function, well, if it was done by gain of function, it doesn't even compare to the excess deaths that happened, even when they pull together every respiratory illness that they can think of in 2020, even when they include the people that were killed with remdesivir, the people that were killed with intubation, with ventilators.
All of that together, it doesn't even come close to the people they killed with the vaccine.
And that's why I'm adamant about the fact that there was no pandemic.
The pandemic was the shot.
And people like Rand Paul and people like RFK Jr., in my opinion, are the ones who are adding the false details.
What they're trying to do is to get you scared.
What they're trying to do is to justify what they stood by and let happen.
That medical martial law.
The poisonous injections and the rest of this stuff.
I'm not convinced it could have been a bad year for flu, but of course they didn't call it the flu.
It was called COVID. And it was something that was highlighted as something that was special.
Gain of function. I don't believe that for a moment.
I absolutely do not.
With all of my fiber, I do not believe that this is a gain of function thing.
I believe that it was a gain of power by these people.
It was a psychological operation that was done on people, and they're still pulling this.
And there's a lot of people in the alternative media who jumped in on that, and they want to now justify them.
See, I told you all along. I was right.
No, you were wrong then, and you're wrong now, Alex.
You're wrong about this stuff.
You deceive people about that just like you deceive them about the election.
So, yes, I absolutely do believe that that was a lie.
Heron H says they're still doing the nasal swabs in Virginia.
Oh, Virginia. If Robert E. Lee were alive today, I think he'd be going to war against Virginia itself instead of men in black.
A false flag is coming to the USA to justify martial law, according to McGregor, Colonel McGregor.
Israel needs to rally the masses against pro-Palestinian public favor all over the USA. A false flag will give Israel the green light to finish Gaza.
Two million illegal aliens passed through Texas in the last three months.
That's right. Jason Barker.
Well, we can send them to the war of the men in black.
He's saying, are they gutting our primary defense here as they import a threat?
I think so. Audi, Modern Retro Radio.
You'd think our servicemen and women would be fed up with these never-ending occupations and escalations.
Well, I think a lot of them are.
But again, they do promise already, promise citizenship for people who enroll.
So I think that we're going to see that increase.
We'll be right back. Thank
you. Making
sense. Common again.
You're listening to The David Knight Show.
I was hit by a jet ski, and I was told by a doctor that I may have only five hours to live if my liver had been totally destroyed.
And I was faced with all of a sudden this idea that in five hours I might be standing before the judgment seat of Christ.
I was 30 years old.
I knew the Bible very well.
I was happily married. I had two kids.
I was very much the epitome of a good American Christian.
And I realized at that moment when it was real and I was laying on a gurney, I'm going to get before Christ and this is going to be inadequate.
I will not go in with my head held high.
What have I done to help all the hurting people out there?
Not much. And I realized at that moment I never wanted to be in that situation again.
Theology in books is one thing.
Theology when you're laying on a gurney realizing I might be seeing Christ in the next couple of hours is another.
When I was on the Los Angeles Police Department and I saw a brutal, awful crime in a really horrific crime area, and then as I got into international business, I got to see that depravity is in $5,000 suits just like it's in do-rags and running around with AK-47s.
We see over here on the nice Americanized Christianity that we have that some people do seem totally transformed and some not.
Lots of people claim to be Christians.
Lots of people believe in Christ.
But they don't seem that much different than some of the stuff I saw on the streets of Los Angeles.
Jesus has given us the formula for that difference in the Sermon on the Mount.
Jesus has this list of intense demands that He's put upon us.
Those are the things that are the requirements for We're good to go.
As people see you, this great light of the Holy Spirit.
Have you ever seen how some Christians are so filled with great joy because they have lived up to the Sermon on the Mount that Christ demands, not for salvation, but for all the promises after salvation?
And so we want to walk through that in a daring faith in a cowardly world, realizing that the world is counting on us.
To carry out the good works that Jesus laid down at the beginning of time for you and I to accomplish.
And if we do that, we will reap great rewards from our master when we get to heaven.
And say, Lord Jesus, I live for you.
I gave all for you.
And have him say, well done, my good and faithful servant.
Okay, and that's our guest, Ken Harrison, and you saw the book there.
This is his newest book, A Daring Faith in a Cowardly World.
And so joining us now is Ken Harrison.
He is volunteer chairman and CEO of Promise Keepers, and he's done a great deal of things in his life, but thank you for joining us, sir.
Thanks, David. I appreciate it.
It's really important for us to, I think Promise Keepers has a very important message, especially for these times that we live in.
And it is very important for men to understand what their role is.
And you put that out there in a very positive way.
Tell us a little bit about the organization Promise Keepers.
Well, Promise Keepers was the biggest men's movement in the history of the church back in the 90s under Coach Bill McCartney.
So they were getting together, men filling a NFL stadium, 60,000-70,000 men at a time.
I remember that, yeah. Yeah, and they actually had a gathering in Washington, D.C. in 97 called Stand in the Gap.
Most people think it was called the Million Man March.
It was called Stand in the Gap and they had 1.4 million men together to worship Christ for the day.
It's the biggest gathering in the history of Washington, D.C. So it was a pretty impactful organization.
It sort of faded out of relevance for a while, but we've been coming back for the last few years.
Well, that's good. But yet, you know, as we see so many times in the cancel culture, what is surprising is to see that Christian venues are now canceling promise keepers because they don't like anything that is masculine, anything that talks to men about keeping their promises that they make.
Tell us a little bit about that and what's been happening with that.
It is truly amazing. I saw that and I just was really astounded because, as you point out, promise keepers are so big.
20, 30 years ago. And now we've got liberal churches.
Churches have gone so far to the left that they want to ban promise keepers for what they call their gender ideology.
Yeah, and I've been as shocked as you have.
We went to Dallas Cowboy Stadium two years ago.
We had 30,000 men there.
It was a huge event.
And then we thought, well, let's do a bigger tour.
We get letters from all over the world saying, could you come here?
And we thought, well, instead of doing one huge event in one location, which takes so much, just a lot of stuff, let's just go to churches.
Wouldn't that be great? And we'll go all over.
We've found we've been canceled and canceled.
And a lot of times, David, it's not about ideology.
A lot of times it's just plain about cowardice.
So we had one church come to us.
We met with the elders and they said, listen, we agree with you on everything.
We're so sorry. We just don't want any protesters.
We don't need anybody to think badly of us.
We don't want to be off the bed from our community.
Right. And I mean, if you've read the Gospels, if you read the words of our Lord, you think, how in the world could you as an elder of a church literally say, I don't want to be unpopular?
They need it worse than anybody at that church.
Yeah, that's absolutely amazing.
And that's what's happened. That's what we see everywhere.
That's why, you know, the church is just disappearing is because nobody will stand for the truth.
And you look at that and you say, well, then maybe you don't really believe it.
So why am I coming to your church?
You know, A.R. Bernard is on our board.
People think he's...
I don't know if you know who A.R. Bernard is.
He has a huge church in New York City.
A lot of people say, oh, he's woke.
He's not woke. He's an incredibly brilliant man.
Huge church in New York City with 40,000 people.
And he said something to me that I thought was so profound.
He said, Ken, you know what the difference between a strong preference and a conviction is?
No. When you think about that, everybody at home will say, what is the difference between a strong preference and a conviction?
A conviction is not negotiable.
Yes. That struck me as so profound.
Because when we see St.
Jerome being barbecued face down in Rome, and after 15 minutes of him singing songs and laughing, he finally yells out, I'm done on this side, you can turn me over now.
That's a guy with convictions, right?
Now we have churches saying, well, we don't want protesters that might make us uncomfortable.
And the ironic thing about it is our tour is called Daring Faith.
Because what we're saying to men is, you started this at the beginning, what is our identity?
Who are we? And as a church, we've gotten this wrong.
And the greatest lie is the one that's closest to the truth that brings you to the wrong conclusion.
And the lie that's been seeded throughout the evangelical church is that we're all sinners saved by grace.
Well, that's true, but it's only half true.
Because when you think you're a sinner saved by grace and you stop there, that becomes your identity.
I guess I'm a sinner. Instead, we're sinners saved by grace made into new creations in Christ Jesus for good works, which were prepared beforehand that we should walk in Ephesians 2.10.
We've been made new creatures that the Spirit of God has been deposited in each person who's put their faith in Christ.
Now, we're sons and daughters of the Most High God, and we need to act like it.
So, the identity is a problem because when men see, well, I'm just a sinner, Then suddenly we see what we have today, which is, well, I struggle with porn, but I'm trying to do better.
No. You're a new creature.
You shouldn't be struggling with porn.
What did John say when everyone showed up on the launch of Jesus' ministry?
Jesus comes to get baptized.
John looks up and looks at everybody and says, repent.
You brood of vipers, who told you to repent for the coming of the Lord?
Repent and sow deeds.
That's something we hear in the church a lot today.
And that was the beginning of Jesus' ministry.
That's right. Yeah, it's like, you know, if we're going to be witnesses to people, we've got to tell the truth, the whole truth.
Nothing but the truth, right?
I had George Barnard, and he was talking about how people are like, oh, yeah, you know, it's like a smorgasbord.
We'll bring a little bit of this thing over there and a little bit of that thing over there.
You know, so we add some things that aren't true to it, you know, but then the other part of it is that you're talking about is that we don't have the whole truth.
You know, Jesus would constantly heal somebody and say, now go your way and sin no more.
You've been changed. And if we haven't been changed, and if we don't have that sense of transformation that changes, then we need to go back And we need to say, well, have I really been changed?
Have I been saved? Is that something there?
Because if you have, it's going to work itself out.
And so we need to look at that and say, does my life really reflect what I say that it does?
Am I really living that?
With telling people to keep their promises, you know, and be a good husband and a good father and that type of thing that you're encouraging men to take that role.
You know, what have we gotten to in a society where that is something that people hate in churches or Christian universities or, as you pointed out, they're afraid of the criticism that's going to come their way?
Yeah, I mean, the Bible says that in the last days, the love of many will grow cold.
Why? Because of the lack of teaching doctrine.
And, you know, when people listen to this, I think they think, well, am I getting the whole story?
I mean, maybe this Ken Harrison guy's a real jerk, or maybe he promised he has a bunch of...
I mean, we're taught to think that way.
Yeah. Everybody, I'm not a jerk.
And we really have gone with the grace of the Lord.
We just teach God's Word.
One of the criticisms we get from people...
Because, you know, when you have people who want to spread hatred, they're not bogged down by truth.
You know, they say whatever they say.
And one of them is, well...
We want to subjugate women.
And I'm quoted all over the place as saying, my role is not to tell women how to behave.
I stay out of it. I'm not a pastor.
I run Promise Keepers.
It's here to tell men how to behave.
So I'm here to tell men how to be humble, gracious leaders in their home, biblically understood so they can raise their kids.
We don't ever mention anything about women or anything like that.
So it's all about humility.
Who wouldn't want a husband who's humble and gracious and knows the Bible and raises his kids, right?
So really, it's unbelievable when you look at the fact that churches are walking away from this.
And it's terrifying. And I will say...
But I think that there is a welcome change in the church coming, in that I think COVID changed a lot of things when people realized that they could sit in a robe and watch Francis Chan on YouTube instead of...
Right? Yeah.
The megachurch movement has taken over starting in the 80s, where, you know, a really good speaker with good music ended up with this massive campus, and people all went there, and it was nameless and faceless, and they did their church thing, and they went home.
Well... Culture no longer values going to church.
And now I don't need to go to church and be nameless and faceless because I can watch it on YouTube.
So I think, what's church about?
Church is about lifting brothers and sisters up in Christ and sharpening each other.
So church is about relationship and teaching biblical doctrine.
So for those churches that are teaching biblical doctrine, and there's relationships, and I'm telling you, it starts with the men, because women actually make relationships, but men don't.
Those churches are going to be the ones who flourish.
I think we're going to go back more to a local church where people really know each other.
They raise each other's kids instead of this nameless, faceless megachurch.
And I'll tell you, that's going to be a welcome time.
I agree. I agree.
I've seen this in terms of silver linings and what happened in 2020 from the standpoint of I've talked for the longest time to people about schools.
And it's like, you know, don't put your...
You know, be careful about what the institution is.
Oh, it's not my school, or it's not our school here.
And even if it is our school, it's not my classroom.
And then they were able to see what was actually being taught in the classroom.
And so that was a real, you know, wake-up moment for people, just like a lot of the Zoom church stuff was a wake-up.
And churches that said, well, you know what...
They've said that there's a sickness going around, so maybe it's not important enough for us to get together.
So you see some things like this, and it's been really kind of an opportunity for people to reevaluate the sincerity of the institutions and to reevaluate what is actually happening in their lives.
And so I do agree with you.
I think it's not going to be everybody, but it's going to be certainly a lot of people Have awakened to what was going on in their schools, what was going on in their churches as they saw this stuff being locked down.
And so that's the unintended positive consequences, I think, that God is using.
Give us an idea. You mentioned a little bit of this, but, you know, tell us a little bit about what a Promise Keepers rally is about.
So this is men talking to men like men.
And so, you know, when you look at a marriage, you need to have a mother and a father for an optimal raising of a kid.
It's not always possible. But when little Johnny skins his knee, he needs mom there to say, Johnny, it's okay.
Let me put a band-aid on. Let me kiss it, make it better.
Well, every once in a while, Johnny needs dad to go.
You're not that hurt. Get up and get going.
Right? That's right, yeah.
In our society, we're lacking dads.
And so what we have is so many victims running around.
Well, my dad was mean, and so now I'm screwed up.
And my coach didn't play me.
And, you know, excuses.
And so what we're here to say is, look, that may be true.
You may have had a bad father or no father.
It may be a lot of things.
Now, what are you going to do about it?
It's time to stand up and be counted as a man of God.
Because your wife and your kids are counting on you to be a man.
Exercise self-control.
So that's what this is really about.
So these are mini events.
They're Friday night only. They go from, depending on the city, like 6 to 9.
The first one will be New York City on December 1st.
And it's going to be actually globally simulcast for free to the whole world.
So anybody who's not near New York City can just go sign up at promisekeepers.org and get the simulcast.
We're trying to do that through churches because, again, we want to drive a relationship amongst men.
We don't want them sitting at home in the road.
We want them out with other men.
But we're going to take on real issues.
We're going to have Becca Cook there, who was a Hollywood, major Hollywood presence homosexual, who got saved and completely changed his life.
Went to Talbot Seminary.
So, Becca, tell us, you know, we're going to have an interview.
Tell us, how do you witness to homosexuals?
How should we approach them?
How did you get saved? What if our kid comes to us and says that they're struggling with this issue?
Like, Real issues.
We're going to deal with depression.
You know, 80% of suicides in America are for middle-aged men.
So we're going to deal with mental health, but it's all wrapped around Christ because that's all that really matters.
How can we live our lives for Jesus Christ, abandon to Him?
So it's going to be very interesting.
This is not celebrity-driven.
This is not come see the big speaker or the big singer.
None of that. This is three hours of sober worship, sharpening each other, and real information that you just can't get anywhere else because we're not going to screw around.
We're not going to tell you You're just so fine and everything is just so great.
We're going to deal with the real issues as Christ did.
Repent. The kingdom of God is at hand.
Right? That's right. Well, that's good.
So promisekeepers.org, the first event is going to be December the 1st, in case your church is not telling you about it, but people can find the live stream there.
And then what is, you've got events that are scheduled throughout the next year, I guess, as well, right?
Right. We have a lot of them.
I can't announce any of them yet because we have a whole bunch that are almost solidified.
And to be honest with you, I've learned that I have to make sure that everything is solid before I announce it unless we get canceled.
Yeah, I know. Well, it's what we're seeing with the libraries.
You know, libraries have been taking over the drag queen story time hours.
And so you have, I mean, as you had, I can't think of his name, the actor who started, yeah, Kirk Cameron.
As he started going around doing that, they started canceling them left and right.
And then if they couldn't cancel it, they created disturbances there and everything.
I mean, it truly is amazing.
You know, the other people have beliefs that they hold very dear.
And they will fight against those.
I mean, we're even seeing now for the third time this woman who quietly goes to abortion clinic and prays silently.
For the third time, she's been arrested.
It's just amazing to see that level of persecution all over the place.
But as you point out, it is everywhere we turn.
Men are being denigrated, being mocked as Homer Simpsons with nothing at all to contribute, even to the extent they're replacing the caveman with a cavewoman.
It's kind of ridiculous.
But tell us a little bit about your books.
Your first book was Rise of the Servant King, where the Bible says about being a man.
Tell us a little bit about that, and we'll get into the newer book after that.
But tell us first about the Rise of the Servant Kings.
Yeah, that one is a really no-nonsense approach on being a godly man.
It's full of L.A. cop stories because I was an L.A. policeman.
As you said, I'd done a lot of things.
And so there's some stories in there that the publisher was like, whoa, you don't see these in Christian books.
And I've gotten a lot of real positive feedback.
In fact, I've gotten hundreds of letters from women who have read it and been blessed.
Because it's really a discipleship book, dressed up and then being a man.
Because you've got to learn how to be a disciple of Jesus Christ to learn how to be a real man.
That's right. So there's that one.
And then the next one that came out recently is Daring Faith in a Cowardly World, which I love that title.
I didn't come up with it.
The publisher did. Thomas Nelson.
But it basically says that, again, we talk about identity.
People think that you said the prayer, you're saved, and now you just have yours, and it's time for you.
There's nothing left to do.
Instead, actually, when you read what Christ said over and over, in fact, his final words, in Revelation 22, he says, Behold, I'm coming quickly, and my reward is with me to give to each person according to what he has done.
Yes. So the idea here is there will be a judgment seat of Christ, 2 Corinthians 5, 10, that will all stand before.
Jesus Christ doesn't care what we did before we were saved.
We were dead in our sins.
We were saved by grace through faith alone.
However, after we were saved, Our lives do matter, and we will be judged.
And Jesus says, Behold, if the person that perseveres doing good works, I will pull him up onto my throne to sit it with me at my Father's right hand.
At the end of Matthew 24, he says that the servant I come to find serving me will be put in charge of many things.
And so the idea here is there's a reason to have daring faith, because it will matter for a entire eternity.
It will be rewarded for those who really walk with Christ and those who didn't.
And just to put a cherry on that, You know, because of Promise Keepers, I get to talk to all these famous pastors and be friends and everything.
And the famous theologian who called me out and said, Hey, man, I gotta tell you, I read your book.
I heard about it being good, about good works for Christians.
And he goes, I sat down with a pen to shred it.
And I was going to go on my radio show and tear you to pieces.
And he goes, when I got done with your book, I was completely convinced, and now I can't unsee it.
Every time I open my Bible, it's good works, rewards, good works, rewards.
He goes, how did I miss this all these years?
That's what that book is about.
And that's this challenge of this tourist.
Men, your lives matter greatly.
And because we think our lives don't matter is why we're dropping the ball.
Because, David, and I know you talk about this, but think about it.
What they're doing to our children.
Here in Colorado, when you're six years old, you go to school, they want to know what gender you are.
And I just had someone telling me their daughter went to school for her first day of first grade.
And, you know, are you a boy or a girl?
I'm a girl. Are you sure you're a girl?
Do you want to be a boy? I'm really trying to talk her into being something other than she is.
Wow. We're good to go.
Doing everything we can, because as you said, the other side actually believes this nonsense, because they're deceived by the evil one.
Our enemies are not flesh and blood, but they're the powers and the powers of darkness.
We need to be waking people up to the truth, because people know the truth when they hear it.
And when they really hear truth, they're going to have one reaction or another.
They're either going to repent or they're going to hate you.
That's what happens because they're going to be utterly in their deception.
2 Thessalonians 2 and Romans 1.
Some people are just completely abandoned to their evil and they're going to hate you.
You're promised. Jesus promises us that they're going to hate us.
And some people we can rescue.
And what a glorious day that is.
That's why we're here in this world.
I just want to wake Christians up.
Stop being so dang comfortable.
Stop looking for the approval of the world.
Start looking for the approval of the one who matters, Jesus Christ.
If you have an audience of one, it's amazing how easy life gets.
Because you don't care what anybody else thinks.
It's sure a lot easier, more joyful.
That's right. Such great advice.
Yeah, you know, we look at things, and it's so easy to fall off one side or the other and get things unbalanced.
And so our response to a lot of people who think that they can earn their way into heaven is to say, no, you can't do that.
There isn't any way that you can undo what has happened.
Only Christ can undo that.
But then, as you point out, if we don't look at the fact that he's saved us to good works and to do good things, that's the other.
You know, we can get on one side of the extreme or the other.
You know, it can be all about works or we can all be about grace only.
But it's the combination of those two things that are so important to try to get those in the proper understanding and understand, you know, now that we're at this point, you know, I think of everybody's...
Everybody knows the parable of the talents, and that's now because of the way that was translated as a unit of silver.
It was an amount of money that was given to these people in Jesus' parable.
Now people have said, well, you know, you have certain talents, things that God has given you.
What are you going to do with that?
And when we look at that parable, the people who don't do anything with what they were given, they get strong condemnation from Jesus, right?
And so that's the key thing.
That's where we are right now.
You know, look at all of the things that God has given us.
He has given us not only forgiveness, but he's given us abilities.
What are we going to do with that where we are?
That's the key thing that Christians need to be asking themselves right now.
And we have just stopped short of that in so many churches that got the part of the gospel right, but they also just stop at that point and don't go any further.
you You know, that parable, I go into it in detail.
But you'll notice the first two servants are given a certain amount of money and they go invest it and they take risks.
The last servant doesn't do anything with it.
And why not? He doesn't want to take any risk.
And what does Jesus say?
Throw him into the outer darkness.
Okay, so number one, there's this contempt for him because he was a coward.
And number two, what's the outer darkness?
Okay. Because these guys are all Christians.
They're in heaven. So did he lose his salvation?
No. Actually, it's pretty clear as you look at it over and over again.
What he's thrown out of is the wedding feast of the Lamb.
That the wedding feast will be the great culmination of all of history.
And all the saints are going to be there.
And this is why he has weeping and gnashing of teeth.
People think that's hell or pain.
It isn't. In the Near East, Weeping means sorrow, and gnashing of teeth means anger.
He's angry at his wasted life, and he's looking at the wedding feast of the Lamb, and he's not allowed in because he wasted what God gave him.
And I want to wake people up and say, don't be that person.
Be the first two servants who went and served the Lord with what they had.
And that takes courage.
And the other thing I want to wake people up to is we have swallowed another lie of intellectualism.
Where we think these guys who sit in their libraries surrounded by books and criticize other pastors, somehow this is the varsity level of Christ.
Just look at the Bible. Everything is about courage.
Everybody in the Bible, everything is confrontation.
It's screwed up people who are giving all for Christ.
They stood up for something. Hebrews chapter 11 is a great hall of faith.
These are such screwed up people, but they just kept going.
We're all going to screw up, but are we going to be courageous?
Are we going to do everything it takes to raise godly kids and say, little Sam or little Jane, what are you learning in school?
Let's look and see how that, what does scripture say about that?
And getting a little more about our school board.
What's going on? Just the gal at Starbucks with the tattoos and the nose ring with a dull look on her face and saying, hey, are you okay?
Can I pray for you? Is there one thing I can pray for you today?
I'm telling you, if you start doing that, I do it all the time.
It's amazing how much of my day gets, quote, wasted.
Because I'll spend the next two hours with someone crying on my shoulder with mascara all over my shirt about her life.
And... Try to walk her through Christ, try to find her a good church.
Everywhere we go, it's a promise keepers thing that we always say, if there's one thing I could pray for you, what would it be?
It's amazing what that unlocks with people.
But you better be ready. Because...
And it's harder to get that with men.
You know, a woman will tell you, you know, what may tell you that, but it's going to be much harder to get that from a man, especially if you don't have a relationship already.
Even with a relationship, it's harder to get men to talk, and that's why something like Promise Keepers is really important, because we're just not wired that way to, you know, to open up and to talk to other people.
Well, the question here for Promise Keepers is we've got to teach men that being a man comes from your heart, your character, not from your performance.
Say that again. It comes from your heart, your character, not your performance.
We say, what is a man?
Like, oh, a man is somebody who goes hunting and who can grow a great beard like David Knight for...
It's tall and has a deep voice or it's a cop or a Navy SEAL. No, a man is someone with...
It comes from inside. It's your integrity.
It's who you are. It says, I will defend my family no matter what.
I will provide for my family no matter what.
If I get laid out for my job and times are tough, if I got to work at McDonald's, I'll work at McDonald's.
Whatever it takes to stand by my kids and my wife.
To guard my thoughts and my mind so that all of my sexual energy goes towards my wife and nobody else.
And these are things that we talk about come from the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
You cannot do this through self-effort.
You must do it through dying to self daily.
And as you die to self daily, Matthew 5-7 is the whole core of being a disciple.
Jesus there is not giving the recipe for salvation.
He's giving the recipe for becoming a disciple.
As we diet ourselves daily, we can really become men.
It comes from the inside, and suddenly we find out that I don't care if you're 4'10 and 80 pounds, you have a heart of a line and a heart of integrity than honesty and courage because you become a man of God.
It's another thing we have to wipe out is this idea that masculinity is performance-driven.
It's not. It's heart and integrity-driven.
Yes, I agree. I can agree with that more.
Yeah, I've said many times that, you know, if you're looking to Christ, that is a leverage point, a fulcrum that's outside of this world, and that gives you a tremendous amount of leverage to change this world.
And because it's coming from that, it's coming, your focus is not even on changing the world.
That's going to be an outcome that comes from your focus on Christ, having an eternal focus with that.
But it is very important, as you point out, it is so difficult for men to To see this, you know, women just naturally fall into this.
They fall more into their relationships.
They like school better than we like school.
They like church better than we like church, you know?
And it's just a natural thing for them.
And so men need to have a little bit more of an encouragement, a counseling, and to understand the importance of the one another, you know, helping one another.
That's the key thing. And I think it's very important for Promise Keepers.
So I'm glad that you're reviving this, that it is now coming back.
It really isn't needed at this point in time.
Here's why. Men have always done relationships by doing things together.
Because if you look at the history of the world, you had to do things together to survive.
So somebody was a hunter and somebody was a farmer and a rancher and a blacksmith and all that stuff.
So you came together in communities and you had to share skills.
And then we learned who we could trust and who we couldn't.
We saw men in stressful situations.
And if you were not a good guy, you were ostracized.
And if you're a good guy, you're elevated in the town.
Women make relationships by communicating.
And so now what we see is because of all our technological advancements, the world today is all about communicating.
It's all about Facebook and social media.
None of that is masculine.
In fact, it's demasculating.
And our churches have gone into that, too.
So you come to church and you have a chat and maybe you get together and have tea.
If you're really godly, you get together and have a Bible study at 630 in the morning on a Friday.
but there's nothing in that that's having to do with doing things together as men and And that's where pastors have to be intentional, get men together, because I can have lunch with you, David, for 20 years, once a week, but we won't really be friends.
I'll tell you what, we go hunting for three days in the backwoods and you shoot an elk that's 300 yards away across another mountain range.
We've got to clean that thing and carry it out.
Now we're friends. Because now I've seen what you're really like under stress.
And you've seen that I'm like under stress.
You've seen how much we hold each other's work.
That's what creates relationships amongst men.
And so we have to be intentional about that now because we don't need each other anymore.
I mean, I can order Uber Eats and I can get stuff delivered from the grocery store.
And men are being more and more isolated.
So it's fine.
There's nothing wrong with women communicating naturally and men making relationships by doing.
But then again, we have to be intentional.
So promise keepers, what we're trying to do is tell men, Don't get together for Bible study.
And have scripture and prayer out of that, and boy, you'll have true friends.
That's a great idea.
Yeah, absolutely. I think that's right.
I see on your board, one name that sticks out to me is Randy Alcorn.
And of course, I know Randy from his works.
He's done a lot of fiction novels.
He... That are very well written.
He was a pastor who was at an abortion clinic and they got a judgment against him and for over 20 years he didn't take a penny.
He took like the minimum which is like $8,000 a year.
Said he didn't give any of the money to Planned Parenthood and just donated all the money from these novels which were very successful.
But he's also written about heaven and he's very much focused on We're not going to be just doing nothing, floating around on clouds, contemplating our navel.
It would be an opportunity for us to work and to create and get involved in a lot of things.
I like his analysis and his way of thinking, but he also writes a lot about money, because Jesus talked a lot about money.
And that's one of the key things with men as well.
Talk a little bit about what you tell people about money with Promise Keepers, because that's such a powerful drag on our lives, just like sex and many other things.
But money has so much of a grip on our lives.
Tell people what you tell men about money.
You think about the things in life that are the greatest blessing.
They also could be the biggest curses.
Sex. Sex is an incredible thing.
It procreates species amongst marriage.
I wrote in Rise of the Servant Kings that sex is the only thing that differentiates A marriage, many other relationships.
Because anybody can share a bank account and raise kids together.
It's sex that makes you one flush.
It's extremely precious, and that's why sex outside of marriage is such a great sin.
Fire. Think about fire.
What a great blessing you need to survive.
Think about how destructive. Water.
You need water, but boy, water can do destruction.
Money is freedom if you have a healthy attitude about it.
It's the freedom to do what you'd like to do.
Whenever I have some money and I'm going to spend it on something major, I think, okay, I'm going to go buy a new truck.
I have $50,000 in my hand.
I can do anything with this $50,000 I want to, from getting clean water in Africa, to fighting AIDS, to buying a big diamond ring.
Whatever I want to do, is this truck what I choose to give that to?
And it's a healthy attitude when you actually think that way.
Debt is bondage.
Debt will destroy you, especially today.
We have a lot of people that are going to end up in massive, massive problems because interest rates have taken off.
If you had a bunch of credit card debt or you had floating interest rates with what's going on, people are going to get crushed.
I know I'm not trying to be who's the money guy in Nashville.
I forget his name now. He's always saying get out of debt.
I think his name is escaping me as well, yeah.
My wife loves him.
If you're in debt, get out of debt.
The thing about money, I actually had somebody come to me, he's an NFL football player, and he said, look, I have this love of money I can't get over.
And I said, you don't have a love of money.
What do you mean? I go, money is a symptom.
It's not the disease.
If you have a love of money, there's something else.
Why do you want money so bad?
Or is it because you lack faith and you think that I never have enough money?
You know, I run a huge foundation and we had one woman Who we went to to give some of her money away.
And she said, oh no, I can't.
I only have $100 million. I have to make sure I can pay the gas.
I'm kidding you. She had inherited it from her husband.
She didn't know what the value of the dollar was.
So money is great freedom if you understand what to do with it.
And it's a terrible curse because it shows who you are.
So if you're a greedy person, why are you greedy?
It's pride. So if I have a million dollars, what would I do with a million dollars?
I want to go and buy a Ferrari. Well, maybe I really like a really fast car, but probably I want the Ferrari so everybody will look at me and think how cool I am, right?
I'm not going to judge that person, but what is it I want to do with money?
So that's the thing we tell men.
Cash, freedom.
Debt, bondage.
If you're trying to accumulate lots of money, why is that?
Because there's people dying.
There's people who need stuff.
And I think it's okay to be comfortable.
You know, there's a conversation you can have.
I mean, I'll tell you that I used to run a huge company, as you think you all sort of from your resume.
I used to have thousands of employees and made lots of money and created lots of jobs.
And I don't take any money now.
I think you know that from Promise Keepers.
I get paid zero. Right.
But there's nothing wrong with having money because we can all judge, well, what is a lot of money?
Well, one day I was in a meeting with a couple of major, major pastors, and I had to leave.
And this guy said, wait, you got to leave, Ken?
Why do you have to leave? I go, I got a plane to catch.
He said, yeah, a plane to catch.
And the other pastor looks at him and goes, yeah, Ken flies commercial.
And they both went laughing.
You don't have a private jet. I said, uh, no.
And... And they're kind of mocking me.
And I go, you know, there's something kind of telling about the fact that the two guys who live off the tithe money of others have private jets.
And the guy who's created tens of thousands of jobs flies on Southwest.
I'll leave that there. And they're both left.
But boy, hey, that's between them and the Lord.
I'm not going to condemn them for it.
But I'm going to say for me...
Southwest Airlines is just plain adequate.
Flying somewhere for $400 is a lot different than flying there for $15,000 on a private plane.
But everyone has to be Yeah.
Oh, yeah. Dave Ramsey.
Eventually it comes. Yeah.
Eventually it gets there. It's a little bit slower now.
But it's got all these extra paths.
It's got to go around blockages, I guess, to get there.
But yeah, Dave Ramsey. The older we get, baby.
The older we get. Dave Ramsey was always about staying out of debt, and that's really good advice.
You know, we don't want to make...
But again, you know, with anything that we do, we can always become obsessive about it.
You know, and I've seen people have gotten obsessive about, you know, getting out of debt and everything.
But it is, as you point out, it is a bondage, and it's a very dangerous time to be in that kind of debt, especially.
To me, it's just criminal what they're doing with the credit card rates now.
I know, I know.
That's like the average.
It's just astounding to me that we allow that to happen, but it's just another one of these things where everybody just passively accepted instead of trying to change it.
Tell us what the seven promises of the promise keepers are.
Alright, I'm on vacation, and I cannot walk through all seven of them right now.
Well, first one, I've got them in front of me, so I've got a cheat sheet here.
Thank you. Honor God.
Honor God. Tell us a little bit about that, and we'll do the next one.
You know, Honor God is the whole point of our lives.
And how do we point that out?
And one of the things I point out all the time is, honor God.
We were just talking about how you can change things to a negative that are positive.
One of those things is honoring the name of the Lord and not using the Lord's name in vain, right?
And a lot of people think that means saying G-O-D for something.
Oh, G-O-D. I can't believe you just did that.
Mm-hmm. That's certainly not a healthy thing, but that is not using the Lord's name in vain.
Using the Lord's name in vain is actually something much more nefarious and something done all the time in the church.
And let me tell you right now, I cannot tell you, I speak all over the country, how many people walk up to me and say, the Lord told me that you...
How many times have I said, I have a word from the Lord.
I don't know this person.
I have a word from the Lord. And my first response is, what verse is it?
But people manipulate and use others with this business of putting things in the name of the Lord that are not in the name of the Lord.
I could keep going.
People who come up with doctrinal points and say, well, God said this.
Well, you shouldn't drink alcohol because when Jesus drank alcohol, it was really just grape juice.
Well, maybe it was and maybe it wasn't, but you don't know that.
Right? So, using the Lord's name in vain is attributing things to God that God didn't say.
Right? And I use an example in Rise of the Sermon Kings on this.
We talk about how somebody said...
They gossiped about another person or slandered that person.
And they said, even Ken Harrison agrees with me.
Well, in fact, I didn't agree with him.
This buddy called me up and said, hey, you said, you agree?
I said, actually, I don't. But he was using Ken Harrison's name in vain in that, right?
Trying to give himself authority by attaching it to me.
That's what we do to the Lord all the time.
So honoring God, there's a lot I could go into on that.
But rather than to preach the whole sermon, I just want to pull that one thing out.
Mm-hmm. Don't concentrate on the little easy, obvious, G-O-D as a little euphemism.
Make sure that you look at your heart and you're not using and attributing things to God that are not God.
They're really you, your opinion.
And maybe your opinion is true, but it's better to say, in my opinion, or the way I read this passage, or my life experience has told me, right?
But do not go around saying, thus says the Lord, if he didn't say it, that makes you a false prophet.
Yeah, kind of a name dropping that's out there.
And, you know, I also look at it, I heard somebody say once, We call ourselves Christians, you know, that really comes from kind of a combined thing of Christ's men, right?
And so, and Jesus said, why are you calling me Lord, Lord, if you don't do what I say?
And so we can, by calling ourselves Christians when we don't really care what Jesus says, that's a way, I think, of taking God's name in vain.
But, you know, there are people who deliberately do it, and I find that that...
I've told a story to my audience before, Karen and I years ago, probably about 25 years ago.
We went to see Penn and Teller perform.
Yeah, and they're funny, but at the end of his – kind of towards the end of the thing, after they'd been there for a while, he starts talking about language.
He says, you know, I really hate it when people use the F word.
They use it for every form of speech.
They use it as an adverb and an adjective and all the rest of the stuff.
And he goes, it just makes you look stupid.
Because you don't have any vocabulary.
So I refuse to use that.
He says, I deliberately take the name of Jesus in vain because I want to blaspheme.
You know, I don't believe any of that stuff.
And so, you know, my wife and I got up and walked out.
But it was really, you know, very deliberate from him.
A lot of people don't realize that they're doing that.
But I think, as you point out, this name-dropping or to say that, you know, I'm a Christ follower when you're really not, that really is a very serious thing, I think, that we need to look at ourselves.
And say, well, am I guilty of doing that in a different way?
You mentioned your second promise is brotherhood.
Tell us a little bit about that. Brotherhood is...
One of the things that we hear so often now is about...
We shouldn't let men get together unsupervised by women.
Right? I didn't bring up a different church.
There's another mega church that we've been having problems with right now that a bunch of major leaders have come together and said, we want you to go to this church.
And the pastor of that church actually called me and said, I have a question for you.
Yeah. Why aren't women allowed to Promise Keepers events?
Because it's a men's ministry.
No, because men... Well, I just don't think that's right.
Well, I said, let me ask you, do you have women's gatherings?
Well, yeah, all the time. So why do you have women's gatherings all the time and not men's gatherings?
Why is it that you're only critical at men's gatherings?
Well, that's a good point. Well, let me ask you this then.
Why don't you have any women pastors preaching to the men?
I said, well, let me ask you a point.
Why are you so obsessed on that?
Yeah. If we have men talking to men like men, why would I want a woman there?
Because when you put one woman in, it changes how men behave.
Men will be authentic. You know, you go to Promise Keepers event, you'll see guys falling on their faces in tears.
I mean, the stories that come out of these events have changed lives.
But when there's a woman there, men feel like they need to change.
Whether it's fair or not, I'm not saying it's fair, I'm just saying what it is.
Mm-hmm. It was amazing to me that in our culture another thing is somehow men are not allowed to get together.
There must be something going on in there that we don't know about.
It's an amazing thing. Again, I'm taking these things on.
In a small way.
But brotherhood is very important.
Men need to get together with other men and just hang out, as we talked about a little bit.
And sometimes women don't totally understand that.
But I think when you put it the other way, one of the things I teach people, I was just asked this the other day, gee, you've been married for 33 years.
What's the secret to having a great marriage?
And I said, well, I've got 30 seconds to answer that question.
I will just say empathy. Empathy is the number one thing.
Put myself in the shoes of my wife and say, how does what I just say sound to her?
Right? Or anybody else in the sake of marriage.
This thing here, too, for women to think, well, when women get together and have tea or whatever, it's all no big deal.
Right? Same thing with men.
And women need to stop and just go, you know what?
For my husband to get together with godly men and go golfing and go fishing, those are important things because this is how men sharpen each other is by doing things together.
So brotherhood is incredibly important.
And again, the lives of Satan and the world are trying to keep men from getting together because if they do, they just might plot how to make the world a better place.
That's great. I love that.
Integrity. Another promise.
Integrity. That is at the heart of a new man.
What will I compromise as we talked about?
What's a conviction and what's a strong preference?
Will I give all for the truth?
You know that Revelation 21.8 has a list of eight sin It says, if you are typified by these sins, you are not saved.
It literally says, here's eight sins.
If you're an adulterer, a murderer, a sorcerer, an idolater, all liars will for sure have their share in the lake of fire that burns forever and ever.
I left the first one out.
You know what the first one on that list is?
What's that? It's pretty shocking. Cowards.
Cowards. Cowards is the thing that God says, I'm going to start this list off of people that shows for sure you're not a Christian coward.
That doesn't mean if you've committed a cowardly act, because I think we all have.
Yeah, if it defines you, just like lying, you know, if it defines you.
Yeah. So integrity, because so much of a lack of integrity comes from cowardice, right?
I even say, it's funny because the list starts with cowardice and ends with all liars.
Well, liars and cowards are kind of the same thing.
I mean, why do most people lie because they're cowards, right?
They're trying to create something that's not really true about themselves because they're afraid of something somewhere.
Integrity is, I will not depart from the truth no matter what the cost.
And that takes great courage.
Courage is, again, one of those things.
All these are the things we can define.
They mean something.
I know what it means to be pious.
I know what it means to be generous.
But courage is sort of this all-encompassing thing.
What is courage? And courage is integrity.
It says, I will not bend no matter the cost.
What's that going to take?
And I define courage and daring faith in the cowardly world as refusing to compromise no matter what the cost is.
Whereas cowardice is not doing the right thing because of fear for something.
Because we're all afraid. And the guy that charges the machine gun nest in the middle of a war He's terrified.
He just does what needs to get done.
That's right. That's a great definition.
Family. Talk about that.
What is the promise of family?
Malachi chapter 3.
People like Malachi.
What is that? Malachi is one of my favorite books in the Bible.
Everybody listening, if you have a chance to read Malachi, it's the last book of the Old Testament, and it's absolutely fascinating.
I preach whole messages on Malachi.
But in Malachi chapter 3, God says, I hate divorce because...
Because why? Because I'm jealous for godly offspring.
Family is the most important thing you can do as a man of God, is to raise godly kids, to pass it on to the next generation.
There's lots of things that we have to do.
I'm not minimizing other things, but I am saying that being...
Coach McCartney, who started Promise Keepers, used to say, the most loving thing that a man can do for his kids is love their mother.
Mm-hmm. That's a hard statement, especially if you're divorced or you had bowel problems.
But literally, the most loving thing you can do for your kids is to love their mother.
Godly man needs to be dedicated to his family because this is the building block of the church of community.
If you have a strong family with godly kids, with a happy wife because she's cherished by her husband.
Another free advice thing I'll give on family and marriage because I get asked about this a lot.
The number one complaint you get from men is what in marriage?
A lack of intimacy. Then there's money and there's in-laws.
Those are the three big things.
But the lack of intimacy is number one by far.
I tell guys, absent a whole long thing to tell them, usually a lack of intimacy is because your wife doesn't feel cherished.
If your wife feels charged, that means she feels safe, protected.
She is the apple of your eye.
I'm telling you, it has a massive effect on the intimacy level of marriage.
That's fantastic. Yeah, that's fantastic.
Great advice. Serving.
Serving. It's an amazing thing.
The godliest person is always the one who serves the most, not the one who rules the most.
And we really have power wrong when we look at Jesus Christ, right?
So we have the ultimate power.
Jesus said, I can call down angels and wipe all these people out right now if I want to.
But instead, he lowered his head in humility, and he says, that's the person I'm going to elevate in the last days.
See, Ephesians chapter 3 says that, it's a fascinating verse that I'd read a million times.
A friend of mine, Tim Dunn, pointed out to me one day, and I'm like, how could I not have seen that?
It says that God is teaching the full extent of his wisdom to the powers and the authorities in the heavens to From the church, which is you and me, David.
Now, what world do you or I have to teach the angels that are around for millions of years?
What's the one thing, what's the one experience that we have that they don't have?
We live life by faith.
This is our one chance.
This lifetime that we have, the Bible says that the angels look on us with fascination.
They can't understand it.
They see things as they really are.
We see things as through a glass darkly, it says.
I think it's in James. So this is the one chance we have to make a massive impact for the rest of our lives.
What will we do today?
And this is why it's so important to not be tied into what does the world think?
What's the world's opinion? Truth is eternal.
It's not dictated on what the United States of America's culture happens to think.
It's dictated on what does God say at the beginning and the foundations of time.
This is truth. I have a very strong conviction on gravity, and therefore you won't find me walking up to a cliff and jumping off, right?
Do I have that same conviction on the trust, on the promises that the Lord Jesus made in the Bible?
Frankly, no, I don't.
I have a lot of faith compared to most people, but Jesus isn't comparing me to most people.
He's comparing me to the truth of heaven.
How far am I in that conviction?
Could you or I be like St.
Jerome, being barbecued and singing songs and going, I can't wait to get to heaven because man, it's my reward.
It's going to be great. I don't know that I ever will be, but I sure am striving towards that.
That's fantastic.
Number six, unity.
Unity, really, a lot of that goes around racial reconciliation, which is something that Promise Keepers was really big in the 90s.
Promise Keepers is actually kind of the originator of diversity and all this, bringing different races together.
I do think, like we talked about earlier, it's one of those things that can become a god.
It can take over where you're at.
You're saying, I'm just going to love a black man today because I'm white.
Well, that's not going to do anybody any good.
Is it coming from the heart of Christ?
So, unity is about unity in every aspect.
If you look at our board, you started to mention our board of directors and Randy Elkort's on our pastors board, and I've known Randy for, geez, 45 years.
I've tried to get him on.
When I reached out to him last time, his wife was dying of cancer, and I certainly understood he wasn't doing interviews at that point in time.
He's a good guy.
But if you look at our board, you know, we have Senator Langford, who's a Baptist pastor before he became a U.S. Senator.
And we have Sam Rodriguez, who's a Pentecostal pastor.
And we have, you know, Pentecostals, Baptists, everybody around.
We're unified around the cause of what we've been talking about, not around doctrinal differences.
And we have great doctrinal differences.
I mean, Sam Rodriguez and I, we've had some two-hour great debates on different doctrinal issues.
And we love each other. And it never is our anger.
So unity is around racial unity, about understanding, you know, other people have different experiences.
It's also understanding theological differences.
It's okay to disagree.
It's okay if you believe in speaking to Thomas and I don't.
It's okay if you're, you know, pre-trib and I'm post-millennial and all those things.
These are things just to sharpen each other and have good conversations on.
I just had a pastor of a small church, but very intellectual.
He gave a great podcast on post-millennial, which is something I really didn't understand.
Called him up. Explain that to me.
Here's how I see it. And he said, well, here's how I see it.
He'd studied it. And we had a great conversation for an hour and a half.
We need to come to each other in humility, but in unity and say, boy, you see this differently than I do.
I really want to learn from you.
I did have that majorly controversial issue in the church.
And I went to a huge pastor and I sat down and I said, look, you believe this and I don't believe that.
And I don't understand why you believe it.
He goes, you really want to have this debate?
And I go, I don't want to have a debate. I want to learn from you.
I want to learn why you think that way.
Because maybe I'm missing something, and after two hours I realized I wasn't missing anything.
But this is the spirit with which we need to come together as Christians.
Sure, sure. Yeah, you're not compromising on truth, but you want to understand where they're coming from and have that discussion.
Promise 7, the final one here, obedience.
Well, isn't that the foundation of everything I've just said, isn't it?
Jesus said, if you love me, keep my commandments.
I was in a major meeting of megachurch pastors, like 40 of them, and we were all sitting around on something, and I was invited.
I don't know why I was invited, but I'm sitting there, and somebody was reading from Luke, and one of the pastors, and I realized afterwards, most of these were really liberal megachurch pastors, and he said...
I don't believe in that Jesus.
He said, that Jesus was mean, and my Jesus was never mean.
So I said to him, well, it says in Luke, you know, Jesus said, I came to set the world on fire and how I wish it was already a light.
That sounds pretty mean to me.
Jesus said, well, I choose not to believe in that Jesus.
And I said, well, if you don't believe in that Jesus, then you don't believe in Jesus.
You believe in an idol called Jesus.
And I think that's where we're at today, is a lot of people don't actually know Jesus.
They don't know who he is.
They have invented a God in their own heads, and they've slapped the name Jesus on them.
Because if you read the Gospels, you'll see Jesus was extremely confrontational around truth, never around frivolous issues.
God said to Jeremiah, if you speak noble words and not worthless ones, you will be my spokesman.
So it is, as a Christian, we will be in confrontation all the time.
It's upon us, though, to speak noble words and not worthless ones.
It's not about whether we're getting in screaming arguments about who belongs in the national championship.
Is it Oregon or is it Alabama?
Or whether there should be a border wall.
But we do be very diligent about all the issues we've talked about today.
If you love me, keep my commandments.
That defines a man or woman of God.
Well, I'll tell you, there's a lot of wisdom in what you've had to say here, and I'm sure there's a lot of wisdom in your book, A Daring Faith in a Cowardly World.
And I'll be picking that up, and it's available at Amazon and everywhere the books are sold.
I'm assuming that it's at promisekeepers.org, and you've got a website as well.
Tell us the address of your website.
I had it here, but I lost it.
Where can people find you in particular?
KenRHarrison.com KenRHarrison.
Okay. Yeah, there's a whole lot of Ken Harrisons out there.
One of them is a gay porn writer, so don't go to that.
Oh, okay. That would not be me.
So remember R. R. That's the one you're going to go to.
And someone who's had, you've had so much experience as a CEO of an international company, a Marine, a police officer, but I think that probably, I don't, you are definitely suited for what you're doing right now at Promise Keepers.
Thank you so much for what you're doing.
Appreciate it. Thank you. Okay, folks, we've got just a couple of minutes left, and there's a little bit of time that we've got left.
Actually, less than a minute.
I want to thank some of the people who have contributed on Zelle.
And let me read their names real quickly here.
Kevin R. Kevin H. Mary M. Brandon M. Mitchell E. Gregory A. Darren M. Kyle H. Thank you so much, all of you. Those are the people who are contributors for the month.
And I cannot thank you enough for supporting us.
Have a good day.
Thank you.
