Well folks, Mayor Pete is at it again.
The most incompetent transportation secretary in the history of the United States is at it again.
And you guessed it folks, racism.
Watch what he has to say on video, okay?
Now, it has nothing to do with transportation.
He really got that job because he checked the box of being gay, and they got to run around touting it as the first openly gay transportation secretary or cabinet member, even though, you know, my father had Rick Grinnell in there, and they all say, well, it's different because it wasn't confirmed.
Like, the usual nonsense.
There's always an excuse. But Mayor Pete is here on video, and he's not focused about the train derailment spewing Chemicals into the air around Ohio.
A huge radius of people affected.
Another derailment in Houston in the same week.
The same guy that oversaw a disastrous supply chain crisis affecting 350 million plus Americans and then decided to go on paternity leave.
The same guy that oversaw the disastrous train strikes.
The guy that has failed miserably at his job.
But we have to tout him We have to say he's wonderful because he checks off a diversity box and therefore he's great.
Listen to him here. He's saying at a conference where it's such a shame there were people working on a construction site in an area And they all happen to be white.
Because of course, folks, of course, everything's racist, right?
If you don't get the answer, it's racism.
Just like our highway system was racist because it wasn't tall enough to allow migrant workers to sleep under it or some crazy crap.
Remember that one? Watch for yourself.
To work with your contractors, to work with your community colleges on building a workforce that reflects the community.
We have heard way too many stories from generations past of infrastructure where you got a neighborhood, often a neighborhood of color, that finally sees the project come to them, but everyone in the hard hats on that project looking like, you know, doing the good paying jobs, don't look like they came from anywhere near the neighborhood.
Right. You can build community wealth that will help close wealth gaps in this country if we can tear down those barriers.
But that happens at the delivery level.
Maybe Mayor Pete should focus on the job, okay?
Just because he's incompetent and failing miserably doesn't mean he shouldn't try.
Maybe he should stop making everything about race because the media will conveniently cover for his failures and his disasters.
Maybe he should get his ass to Ohio.
Rather than allowing all of the people within, I've read up to a 200-mile radius, inhale toxic fumes.
Maybe he should figure out what's causing these derailments.
He's the transportation secretary.
That's his job.
But, of course, no one's going to hold him accountable.
No one's going to hold him to task.
No one's going to say anything because he checked off a box, folks.
Therefore, he's totally immune to criticism, even if he's failing the American people and is a total embarrassment.
