Meet Taylor Swift’s Newest Personality
| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
All right, everybody. Happy Friday.
Question of the day today. Why is Taylor Swift the absolute worst?
And I'm the only person that seems to be able to see it.
She's super annoying.
This relationship with Travis Kelsey is super annoying.
Plus, later on in the show, I'm going to weigh in on The Golden Bachelor.
I want to make it clear, I've never watched a single minute of The Bachelor, but I might be in for The Golden Bachelor, a.k.a.
The Bachelor for Boomers, which premiered last night.
All that and more today coming up on Candace Owens So I have literally been under a rock for the last week
Yeah, I was up in Wyoming doing some fishing and some hiking, climbing summits.
And even I heard about Taylor Swift and her new beau, her new fling, I guess we could call it,
Travis Kelce. Now, before we get into Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift and why every single
person in the world seems to be talking about this, I would like to back this up to a couple
of weeks ago when I weighed in on Taylor Swift. And I've never changed my mind about her. I think
she's a really manipulative young lady. And by young, I mean she's the same age as me. She's
about to be 34 in December. She's an adult woman. And I also think that she engages in a lot of
She's not a nice girl, despite the marketing machine trying to convince people otherwise.
And why was I talking about this a couple of weeks ago?
Well, because Taylor Swift decided to befriend Sophie Turner.
Sophie Turner, the actress from Game of Thrones.
She played Sansa, who was married to Joe Jonas, Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriend, from when she was 18 years old.
And you would think that, okay, you have a breakup when you're 18 years old.
You become an adult. You're now 34.
You would be over that breakup.
You wouldn't do anything vindictive to that individual who has moved on in his own adult life.
But Taylor Swift is not that person, obviously.
When she got wind that Sophie Turner was divorcing her ex-boyfriend of many, many years ago, and I don't know who reached out to who.
Maybe it was Sophie. I'm not cutting her any slack here.
It's unbelievably immature.
But Taylor Swift decided to embrace Sophie Turner, to become instant best friends with her.
I again want to state that Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner were married.
They're in the middle of a divorce. They have two young children.
This is a real relationship.
Not the five-minute flash-in-the-plan relationships that Taylor Swift has become famous for.
Not Taylor Swift going on Ellen when she was 18 years old and saying how Joe Jonas broke up with her in a
25-second phone call and she was hurt. We're talking about a real marriage that yielded two young beautiful children
But even that didn't matter Taylor Swift because getting back at her ex was too irresistible
And so she opened her arms to Sophie Turner not just her arms and the paparazzi
Intentionally following them around that Joe Jonas could really feel the burn
But even her home yeah an update to that story is that Taylor Swift is allowing Sophie Turner to stay at her
apartment in the midst of this divorce and these divorce proceedings which are getting nasty by the way
And the paparazzi is now capturing pictures of Joe Jonas's daughter leaving his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift's apartment.
Ex-by over a decade ago.
And Taylor Swift is not over it.
But people... Ignore this side of Taylor Swift.
They pretend that she's a nice girl because she makes music that appeals to angsty teenagers.
And so everybody just thinks she's just an angsty 15-year-old.
Ignore the fact that she's a 34-year-old adult woman who has a very odd dating pattern of she's so wonderful and she's so great and she's so sweet.
Why hasn't any man set up to the plate to marry her?
Why didn't Jo Alwyn want to marry her after six years of dating her?
Well, maybe it's because Taylor Swift has a lot of personalities and people think that that's cute and it's funny because you get to dress up as one of her personalities and go to the Arrows tour.
But me, and maybe I suffer from also being 34-year-old adult woman, I just think it's odd.
I think her behavior is really, really cringey.
And I think that those of us who have had the courage to say this, despite the fandom, the evil Taylor Swift fandom coming after you and threatening to kill you, if you don't see that she's actually perfection, yeah, I'm going to hold on to my opinion.

And as just some evidence of this, of course, is her recent relationship.
We don't know how long it's going to last.
It could be over before I even finish this monologue with Travis Kelsey of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Now, you don't need to know the whole story, but essentially, Travis Kelsey went to her Aeros tour, as did a lot of other players, because it happened in their stadium.
He received a friendship bracelet, as everybody at her concerts does, because remember, she's 15.
If you're going to lean into a 15-year-old narrative at the ripe age of 34, convincing the masses that you are 15, handing out friendship bracelets is a good place to start.
So anyways, Travis got one of these friendship bracelets and he wrote his number on the back
of it.
Taylor Swift never received it.
And of course, this broke into the press.
And what I imagine happened behind the scenes was that her excellent million-dollar marketing
team sat down and said, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs wants to go out on a date
with you, and we think this would be a good relationship for you.
And they sat down with the map and told her how it would help her brand, and they calculated
and talked about how many songs she could write and how much money she could make in
the end, and how actually this is one category that she's never stepped into.
This is a new personality.
It's a new—the dawn of a new Taylor era.
Yes! I know you were just with Matt Healy, but imagine yourself.
Imagine the next album.
Imagine the next Taylor.
This could be your next two years.
And I think that they said, this is a good decision.
Yeah, this guy doesn't have too bad of a history like Matt Haley did when they sat down in that same meeting and said, break up with him immediately because it's bad for your brand.
I think that this is actually what goes on behind the scenes.
And Taylor decided, yes, I'm going to go to this Kansas City Chiefs game and completely adapt my personality because I used to be the girl that was in the marching band when I was telling you guys that I was a nerd in my first album.
But now...
I'm the cheerleader in the stands.
Now, what's creepy about the images coming out?
Well, first and foremost, Taylor has this propensity to immediately become friends with whoever she's dating their moms.
Way too soon. Way too soon.
As just one example, Matt Healy of 1975, her former two-week fling.
Yeah, this is a picture of Taylor with Matt Healy's mom backstage.
Oh, I love moms.
Yay, I'm 15 and moms are great.
Amazing. Well, the same can be said of this image of her with Travis Kelsey's mom in the stands as she was rooting.
I don't think Taylor Swift follows football.
In fact, I feel very comfortable saying that Taylor Swift does not follow football.
Oh, but boy, did she follow football on this Sunday as she rooted like she was, I don't know, just the most dedicated Kansas City Chiefs fan that you've ever seen.
I mean, the emotive expressions, looking like she was just going to pass out if they didn't complete a pass.
It was just so fake, so plastic, so manufactured, very inauthentic.
And that has always been my assessment about Taylor.
It's like worse than me thinking that she's a mean girl.
I think she's really, really annoying and cringey.
But my predictions for this, yes, Taylor Swift, if I was on your marketing team, I would say stick with this at least through the football season.
At least through the football season.
And if you're smart, do it for two years so people don't realize how calculated you are.
And you'll have time to write an entire album, a new vision of Taylor Swift, this time as the person who is dating somebody on a football team and who is the cheerleader.
People on TikTok, particularly this one guy at Will King Music, did not miss the opportunity to predict just what sort of songs she might write after her breakup with Travis Kelsey.
Take a listen. You stole my heart, you intercepted it.
Now you're gonna have to accept it.
Did I meet your mom too soon?
Yeah. Always.
We made it to the 30 and you did me dirty right then.
You put the end in, tie it in, and as I touch down, just like you in a game, I'm in another town, and nothing feels the same.
Wish I could go back when we met that day, and throw a flag on the plane.
Just totally see all of the girls in the audience in their diapers because they don't want to miss even one second of a Taylor Swift concert as they've been doing on the Eros tour and just nodding their head and just stepping into that.
Oh, that's how I felt.
I wanted to throw a flag on the play.
It is bizarre.
I'm telling you the fandom of Taylor Swift is bizarre.
If you're a young person and you can't see what she is, calculated, manipulative, and definitively not a nice girl, fine.
I can deal with that because I loved her music when I was super young.
But if you're an adult human being and you can't see this for what it is, I don't know what to tell you.
I guess just wait eight months when her and Travis break up and I tell you that I was right and we'll take it from there.
Well, one thing that I can say, one thing that makes me happy is that real football fans, not the ones that come to a game and pretend that they're dying on the sidelines because they just want the media to capture some pictures.
But the real football fans are not falling for this.
So there has been a TikTok trend that's gone viral.
Wives pranking their husbands by saying that Taylor Swift put Travis Kelsey on the map.
And this guy's response, it's all of me.
Take a listen. Babe, have you seen all the stuff about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift?
A little bit, yeah.
How she like put him on the map and like no one knew who he was before he started dating her?
Put him on the map? Yeah, like no one knew who he was before he started dating Taylor Swift.
Are you f***ing high right now?
This mother f***er has two Super Bowl championship rings, like over 70 touchdowns and f***ing, I don't know, like 10,000 receiving yards.
I don't know. People are saying he's really blowing up now that he's dating Taylor Swift.
Taylor Swift needs to stay the f*** out of football.
It's the only thing that I have that gives me peace.
And she has to come in and f*** it up.
Stupid. As I said, that guy is literally me.
And yes, she does need to stand at football, but trust me when I say that she won't.
And that's all I have to say about that.

Okay, now it's time for some Topics du Jour!
You know, I've got a lot of Canadian fans and you hear me ask this question often.
I just, I don't know what the hell goes on up there.
I just never know.
What is going on up in Canada?
Weird stories that trickle through, and I have to cover them.
And then my Canadian fans answer to me, I don't know if it's too cold up there.
This story really caught me by surprise.
And strangely, strangely, this Canadian woman is receiving a ton of support.
Her name, for the record, is Amanda Dennis, and she published an obituary for her late father.
I'm going to read for you now what that obituary states.
The deceased man, her father, is named Stefan Harold Kandolsky.
His daughter wrote, I am pleased to announce the passing of Stefan Harold Kandolsky at the age of 74.
After suffering multiple strokes, one thankfully leaving him unable to speak, the abusive, narcissistic, absentee father, husband, brother, son finally kicked the bucket.
He is survived by his daughter, Amanda, grandchildren, Emma, Deuce, Xavier, Jacob, and Lucas and brother, Ed.
He is pre-deceased by his parents.
She goes on to write, In lieu of flowers or donations, just be kind to your fellow human, spread light and love where you can, and do with your life what this man clearly lacked the ability to do.
Hey, Amanda! So anyways, the backstory is, because obviously people got wind of this, actually, I believe one of the places refused to publish the obituary because they just thought that this was, you know, so despicable.
But no, the Canadian Outlook got wind of this.
They sat down with her. She claims that some of her earliest memories with her father involved emotional and later physical abuse.
Later in life, She cut ties with him completely.
So at the time that this man died, she had absolutely no relationship with him.
Now, of course, we are hearing her side.
We're never going to hear his side.
We wouldn't be able to hear it because, as she mentions in his obituary, he was left unable to speak after having a stroke.
And now he's dead, right?
So, you know, there's two sides to every story.
There's your side, my side, and the truth.
We are just getting Amanda's side.
And, of course, TikTok Where I believe is within itself a mental insane asylum, is rushing to support her, telling her that it's amazing that she's done this.
And so she jumped onto TikTok to thank her new obituary fans.
Take a listen. Hi, everyone.
I'm Amanda. And I wanted to come on here and say thank you to all the people who sent me Facebook messages and TikTok messages and were so supportive.
After the death of my sperm donor, I want to let you know that it's okay to share the messy stuff.
It's okay to tell people you had a shitty childhood.
It's okay to not wear rose-colored glasses all the time because that is who...
What makes you who you are?
That is what makes you unique.
That is what gives you strength.
That is what your truth is and there's no reason to hide it.
I'm not gonna hide anything.
I'm a human being.
Humans are messy.
And it is the way it is.
Okay, so setting aside the fact that she just gives me crazy vibes, she just looks a little crazy, I find it interesting that people would applaud this behavior, which essentially is just her becoming what she hates, what she purports to hate.
She purports to hate her father.
She calls him in the obituary narcissistic and abusive, and then she puts up this video which I think proves that she herself is narcissistic.
She did this Yeah, little Deuce Xavier and...
Jacob mentioned here, Lucas, if you're going to Google their names, this obituary is going to come up.
The fact that they are from a dysfunctional family, this is going to come up.
Amanda's video will be tied to this forever, but she didn't consider that because she herself is in fact a narcissist.
Now, I want to be clear.
Everybody's family has problems.
Mine included. Nobody comes from a perfect family.
But the idea that you should air this out because it's your truth, a la Harry and Meghan, and so every single person now has a platform to talk badly about their deceased family.
Parents, he's dead.
The man is gone. I'm not saying that you have to pretend he was a perfect parent.
I'm willing to bet he wasn't.
I'm willing to bet he probably would have had another side to the story had we been able to speak with him.
But speaking this ill of the dead does not make you a good person.
There's nothing about this that makes me go, wow, Amanda, how stunning and how brave.
You are able to completely annihilate someone in an obituary.
You're not required to write an obituary.
You're not required to go up to the funeral.
You're not required to say anything on TikTok.
You can literally pretend that you had no relationship with this man whatsoever, but you declined to do that because you wanted attention.
And that's exactly what you got.
You got attention for your dad dying.
Just wanted to cover that story because we are strangely moving into an era where these
sorts of acts are being applauded and they shouldn't be.
Again, not making a justification for her allegedly abusive father, but I find her to
be becoming the exact same person.
All right, guys, need to weigh in on this.
Huge disagreement between me and my executive producer on the show.
She does not want to watch this series.
I very much think that I have to.
Now to be clear, before we even show you the trailer, I have never watched a single minute of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette.
Just not for me. Doesn't seem like something I would ever be interested in.
But then they announced that there was going to be The Golden Bachelor, which they were going to have people from their 50s and 60s and 70s that were going to be on this show looking for love again.
And suddenly, I'm interested.
Take a look. I'm falling in love with you, Gary.
The last time that someone said those things to me was my wife of 43 years.
I never thought I would see it again.
And I'm seeing it and feeling it with more than one person.
I don't know. What do you guys think?
Do you guys think my executive producer is wrong and this is kind of sweet?
I don't know the concept of older people falling in love.
My expectations are that this is not going to be as slutty as its prior productions.
I don't picture people in the hot tub taking their clothes off.
I actually don't know if that's what happened in The Bachelor.
I just assumed that by all the clips that I've seen of it and that people that are going to be, I don't, millennial, I guess, is the way that I'm, what I'm trying to get to, which The Golden Bachelor, if I'm right, might be a little bit classier, a little more hopeful.
You guys know I'm a sucker for grandparents.
That's, I think, that's what it comes down to. I'm a sucker for grandparents.
I'm a sucker for a grandparent love story.
So I'm looking forward to diving into this.
I'm going to at least watch the first episode.
But my ultimate prediction, I'm going to be wrong and that somehow the producers are going to manage to turn it into reality TV trash because that's what sells nowadays.
People want to keep watching when things get trashy, when people are yelling at each other, when people are breaking glasses, when people are drunk and crying.
But I'm going to just hold out a little sliver of hope that that isn't going to be the ultimate production of The Golden Bachelor.
I promise I'm going to watch an episode, and I will get back to you with my thoughts.
But I'm in. Gary seems like a sweet guy.
He's got a sweet story.
Gary, please, please, please, don't let me down.

All right, guys, now it's time to get into some of your comments from episodes past, particularly regarding Russell Brand's, the set of comments.
Stephen's writes what's truly disturbing is that years ago Russell's then out-of-control behavior was applauded
Shielded promoted and even celebrated here in the UK by the very channel now calling him out
Which begs the question why media executives and TV sickle fans failed to act accordingly if his then behavior was so
egregious Surely the network's execs and media should be the first to
be called out Held accountable and challenged for their choices decisions
and failure to disclose any alleged wrongdoings in a timely and
Transparent manner. Yes, of course that should be the circumstance, but it's not going to be the circumstance
would be But I would say back to you, there definitely is something very odd going on.
And I think it's simply that Russell Brand began to stand up to the media machine and And also he's been so successful.
He broke out of the media machine.
He's creating his own content now.
He's not controlled by them.
He's sober. He has a family.
Just in how he's living now, he's representing good conservative beliefs, whether or not he identifies as a conservative or not.
He is living more conservatively in terms of the social aspects.
and when he was much more liberal and on drugs, they felt that he could be controlled
because he was weak.
And that is the truth.
Russell Brand, back when he was a sex addict, and back when he was a drug addict,
was a weak, pathetic man.
And the media likes these types of characters because they can easily be controlled
because these people have secrets and they're willing to keep those secrets so long
as those individuals do the media's bidding.
Roberts writes, would like to know who decided to start this investigation
into Russell Brand and what was their motive?
He must be given a fair chance to respond to the allegations.
Justice should be for every person, accusers and the accused.
Yes, absolutely.
And I've made it clear that some of these allegations, just looking at them quickly, obviously, we don't have too many details or a rebuttal from Russell.
Might be credible. I've said that.
But the question is whether or not they should be tried by YouTube or in the court of law.
And the fact that YouTube is demonetizing him and the fact that the government is writing letters trying to put pressure on Rumble and TikTok to demonetize him, that is a scary world that you do not want to live in, whether you're on the left or the right.
You do not want to be presumed guilty until you prove your innocence and in the process lose everything that you have, lose your ability to be able to provide for your family.
Next up, David writes, Of course, what he's referring to is what I just stated before.
You had members of parliament actually writing letters trying to get Russell Brand kicked off of various platforms.
That's not normal behavior coming out of the government, which is why I think more and more people are believing.
And the conspiracy theory is that there is a coordinated effort to silence Russell Brand, which is all the more reason that we need to make sure he's able to speak.

All right, these next set of comments are regarding convicting a murderer.
I am so excited that everybody is enjoying this docu-series.
I knew that you would. I knew especially the women would because we have a thing about true crime.
Amanda writes, I listened to enough podcasts to know that the last person to see the victim is usually the culprit.
The only sketchy thing about the police investigation, in my opinion, was that Dassey interview.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you came up with on him.
Yes, so excited.
Next week on Thursday, we will finally jump into Brennan Dassey because as I've said even people that were
completely convinced that Stephen Avery was guilty Kind of held something out for Brennan Dassey. He's young
He was manipulated all of these things and I think that when you see
The full context of how Brennan Dassey came to the police and see more of the Brennan Dassey interview
you will again be convinced of The fact that both of them are exactly where they should be
in my personal opinion. I don't know We'll see people feel differently because of Brennan Dassey's
age, but you will definitely come away with much more information
Next comment is from Carrie Welk She writes, Convicting a murderer is so good.
After watching the Netflix series, I was leaning to Avery being totally innocent, but Candace has brought things to light.
The Netflix producers should be ashamed for almost ruining Colburn's life.
They weren't making a documentary, but a complete work of fiction.
I'm dying for the next episode.
I hope Avery supporters are willing to watch this series.
Way to go, Candace.
Thank you so much. I'm glad you're enjoying it.
Next person writes, I hope they see this series and it changes their minds.
What I would say is that if you've made it this far, now we're about to go into episode 7 next week, and you're still out there defending Stephen Avery, you probably just have a disorder of some sort.
I think it probably has something to do with the lack of humility and unwillingness to admit that you were wrong and convert because there is something about the narrative, since you've held onto it for so long, that you feel like you would lose a piece of yourself.
And we kind of get into that, the psychological aspects of people, that even in the face of overwhelming evidence that Stephen Avery...
Is a complete scumbag.
Still hold on to the belief that he might maybe be innocent and are willing to have prison phone calls with him.
I mean, it's completely crazy. Especially at this stage, going over all the ways in which he's abused women.
And as I said, major bomb drop in Episode 9.
There has to be something that's driving that.
And it has to be And emptiness within them, and they feel that they've found a sense of community in believing in something that just isn't so.
They've converted him almost into a religious figure.
And in that way, the Stephen Avery fan club has really converted into a cult.
That's what I'm going to say about that.
And I think probably the best way to end this episode is showing you guys a teaser for next week Thursday's Convicting a Murderer.
Take a listen. Coming up on Convicting a Murderer...
They got Brendan down on the police station.
Fine. Something to do with you.
The police did not have Brendan Dassey on their radar at all.
Kayla brings up that they should talk to her cousin Brendan.
They initially went down to that high school because they were worried about him because his cousin made some comments about him losing weight.
She mentioned things like staring off into space and weight loss.
She estimated to be about 40 pounds.
They thought that maybe he had seen something and he was having trouble dealing with what he had witnessed.
You should have said to them, I want my mom in there.
You definitely can see how someone like him was easily manipulated.
I really feel sorry for Brendan, getting roped into some scheme that Stephen decided he was going to come up with.
We did not expect what he was telling us.
All right, ladies and gentlemen, that is all the time that we have for today.
Reminding you that the show is now going to air at 3 p.m.
on Daily Wire Plus and 4 p.m.
on social platforms.
And also as a reminder, the 10-part series, Convicting a Murderer, is available now.
The first episode was free on X. You can also watch it free on YouTube.
The second episode also free on Daily Wire Plus.
And a new episode drops every Thursday.
If you're a true crime junkie like me, you're going to absolutely love the series.
So don't be the last to see it.
We'll see you guys on Monday for a brand new episode.
