| NASCAR. I don't know what they're doing. | |
| I don't know. I'm going to follow this under Eminem hates Trump supporters. | |
| People just don't understand their market. | |
| NASCAR's been kind of dabbling in the race politics for a while. | |
| Black people, we're not big on NASCAR. It's not our thing. | |
| It's never really been our thing, you know? | |
| But I do love Talladega Nights, the movie. | |
| It's hilarious, and it's epic, and I think it's a pretty fair representation of the market of people that love NASCAR, right? | |
| I would love to go to a NASCAR race. | |
| I'm just saying it's not my thing. I'm being honest. | |
| So it's weird that they've been kind of ramping up the woke stuff at NASCAR, and we are kind of reaching a peak here because they're banning white applicants from one of their internship programs. | |
| They offer a paid diversity internship, and it pointedly excludes white people from applying on the basis of their race, a stipulation that one lawyer is saying is illegal, and And that they're probably going to get sued for as they should get sued for it because this is why we have put certain laws into place. | |
| We do not want racial discrimination, period. | |
| As I have said many times on the show, there is no such thing as reverse racism. | |
| It is just racism. | |
| The idea is not, well, you are racist to us, so we're going to be racist towards you. | |
| Some people very much have that idea in this country that you somehow become the bigger person when you say, you were racist to my great great granddaddy so now I'm going to be racist to you. | |
| Well, that is pretty much what NASCAR is trying to employ, trying to pretend that this is a merit system. | |
| And they now have this internship program, as I stated, that has racial requirements that the applicants must meet in order to be accepted. | |
| The program requirements, the first bullet point says, be a member of one or more of the following races or classifications, Black or African American, American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Latino or Hispanic, Native Hawaiian, or other Pacific Islander. | |
| So just right there, it's just kind of incredible to just blatantly say, to pretend that we do not have Title VII, that we do not have the 1866 Civil Rights Act, having essentially what is a 100% quote of four minorities is completely wrong. | |
| And I always say on this show, and I will say it to you again, if you're ever questioning whether or not something is racist, if you're like, just a very simple litmus test to do, is to replace the words white and black and reread what you are reading, re-examine what stipulations are. | |
| So you imagine if this said, program requirements must be a member of one or more of the following races, white, white, Unimaginable. | |
| What are you saying? Whoa, did I just read that right? | |
| Did this say that you must be white to apply? | |
| The whole world would be burning down and it's on fire. | |
| But we have been so conditioned to think that this is somehow the right thing when you flip the races. | |
| As long as you say black and you say Native American and Hispanic, but suddenly this becomes okay. | |
| It's not okay. It's wrong. | |
| No white person should have to read this. | |
| No black person should have to read this. | |
| They should not have to read themselves being excluded on the basis of their skin color. | |
| I don't know why that's so hard for so many people to understand. | |
| So, yes, NASCAR is getting into a bit of trouble. | |
| Obviously, somebody will lawyer up and they will take this and there will be some sort of a lawsuit against them and they'll probably get rid of this program. | |
| But beyond that, I think what they're really going to suffer from is just a brand crisis. | |
| I don't know what they're doing. Again, I don't know if they know their audiences. | |
| I don't know why they've become so bitter towards white people, the people that have supported NASCAR and have helped them become what they are today. | |
| It seems really ridiculous. | |
| Let's stop with all of the woke politics. | |
| It's getting annoying, and I have mixed children. | |
| I don't want to tell them that they have to pretend to be just black to get ahead in society. | |
| It's really ridiculous. | |
