He's an incredible guy.
His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA. We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.

George Janko everybody.
Before we get, uh, is my mic on?
I don't know.
Could you guys hear me?
I love you guys so much.
Thank you guys for coming here.
Before he goes and asks me questions, I just wanted to give this man the flowers that he deserves.
If there was a time that this country had a turning point, it is because this man and men like him got on their feet, they said no to this country, they grabbed their families, and they stood up for the word of God.
People like this.
So, Charlie, thank you so much, bro.
It's such a pleasure, brother.
It's such a pleasure.
It has been a true joy, George, to get to know you.
You know we haven't even known each other for a year.
Yeah, and he's a robot.
I want you guys to know that.
He is always working.
Always working.
I mean, backstage I was working.
You know, we were watching the college football playoffs.
No, he was sitting and he was just like, I'm not exaggerating, he's like this.
And I'm like, dude, whatever he's looking at is serious.
And I pass by and it's a football game.
I have no idea how he's doing so much at once, but he was watching a football game back there.
Hey, we have been up.
That's right.
Go Ducks.
You know exactly what you're talking about.
We've been up working 20-hour days.
We haven't slept for a week.
And I said, my only ask backstage is that we have college football playoff.
It helps me get to the day.
It's just cathartic.
Five minutes here, five minutes there.
For me, it's just awesome.
So, George, it's been amazing to get to know you throughout this last year.
You recently got married.
Congratulations.
And we are an organization that celebrates marriage, that celebrates the family, that rejects hookup culture, that thinks that this whole sexual promiscuity is a disaster.
We want people to save themselves from marriage.
We want people to celebrate the sacrament of marriage and the divinity around that.
Talk about how your life changed as you got married this last year.
Well, I gotta speak from my heart, and the truth is, I was not following the Word of God.
I slept before I was married.
My wife followed me wherever I went, and I was the one that convinced her, you know, we should live together.
And I lived in the world where, is Jesus gonna get mad at me?
I mean, is He gonna get angry at me?
And the truth is, after I got married and I saw all the beauty behind it, He wasn't angry, He was sad.
When he sees that I chose the secular world and what they feared, and I listened to their music and I listened to their movies, I feared the wrong thing.
I feared what they told me to fear.
Hey, dude, get out of your system now.
Because when you get married, oh, dude, you got to get out of your system now.
Get what out of your system?
When am I getting out of my system?
When I got married, I got on my hands and knees and I bawled my eyes out because what he was giving to me, I was pushing this blessing away from me.
I pushed the beauty of marriage away from me and I taught everybody around me.
Like, oh no, it's cool, dude.
Get out of your system.
Be like this.
But I've learned really quick that if you fear anything besides God, you're going to pay for that.
And through the grace of God, he gave me an incredible woman.
And through that, I learned how to be a husband.
I learned how to be a better son.
I saw what my mom was doing that I didn't appreciate.
There's so much reflection of Christ behind that.
Of course the devil doesn't want you to get married.
And George, talk about how you have grown from that and just the celebration of marriage and you look at your life before you were married versus now being married.
One is full of joy and peace and security, and the other one is like, bro, they just keep trying to find this happiness and joy that only Christ could bring to a marriage with the clubs and these women and all this stuff.
And I promise you, I know there's a bunch of you out there that are like, yeah, dude, but not me.
But I promise you, man, clean yourself up.
Clean yourself up.
If you truly, truly are a man of God, and you're like doing the, I'm waiting until God brings me the right woman, how dare you?
Why would he bring you that woman when you're acting like a child?
I am the head of my household, but He is the head of everything.
So how could He give me something to manage and grow with and build and teach and sharpen if me, myself, I'm acting arrogant and selfish and stupid?
Anything that goes against the Word of God is foolishness.
It's foolishness.
So George, so many people are being told though that marriage is outdated, it's not worth it.
You know, having that kind of propaganda pushed at young people and pushed relentlessly can be very difficult to overcome.
How do we overcome that as a cultural movement that does celebrate marriage?
Don't listen to the world, listen to God.
Plain and simple.
I could say another 10 minutes of something, but the truth is this.
God didn't give you these rules and regulations because He sits on a throne and He's like, yes, follow my lead.
He gave it to you because He's your Father.
He gave it to you because He loves you.
The fear of God isn't me being, oh, I'm scared to disappoint Him because He's going to unleash pain on me.
The fear is the same fear that I have with my Father on earth.
I don't want to disappoint Him.
He sacrificed too much to me.
So, I just think we've lived in a world where everybody wants to give their truth.
There's no such thing.
There's only one truth.
There's only one way.
There's only one.
So let's kind of fast forward to, you know, the world that we're living in right now, which increasingly de-emphasizes biblical truth harder and harder for young people to speak out their mind for Christian values.
You know, having been in both the media space and the Christian world and the secular world, what are the differences in compare and contrast those two?
Well, that's a great question.
There's a Bible verse that I never understood.
And it was so like weird to listen to.
There was a gentleman that wanted to bury a relative of his.
And he goes up to God and he goes, I love you, but I gotta go.
I gotta bury my cousin.
And you would think that our God that is so loving would be like, yeah, I get that.
Go bury him.
Come back.
But he said one thing that shook me to my core.
He said, let the dead bury the dead.
And I didn't understand that until I was absolutely at the best place of my career, had the best finance, had the best situation.
Everything I begged God for was at my feet or at my possession.
And I'm looking around and I feel like that dead man.
And I asked God, God, how is it that I feel dead here?
But when I was working at Five Guys, I felt alive.
And he whispered in my heart, not audibly, but he said, because when you were flipping burgers, you thought about what I wanted, not what you wanted.
And when I took that and I was like, okay, then what do I do?
And he goes, stop being selfish.
Every time you go and talk to me, you talk about yourself.
You talk about your needs.
How can I send you to go do great work if all you're concerned about is yourself?
So I humbled myself and my new prayers are, Lord, I want to walk in the Spirit and have fruits of the Spirit.
And I want to talk to somebody who, you know what they always say?
Be careful what you pray for.
You know who says that?
Satan.
If any man ever tells you again, be careful what you pray for, shut his mouth and say, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Prepare for what you pray for.
Prepare for what you pray for.
Following Jesus isn't for the weak.
It's the toughest thing I've ever had to do in my life.
But He did all of the work.
He did all of the work.
What I realize this, and I hope this seed plants into your heart, when you meet the almighty God, and you could today, John chapter 1 says that the word became flesh, and he gave us these beautiful words, the Bible.
I joke and I say basic instructions before leaving earth.
And what I've learned, and I tell new Christians is this, prepare to be in the presence of a light you have never experienced before.
That when you stand, I'm so sorry I have to get up, I can't just sit down, but when you stand before God, you're going to be in such a bright atmosphere that you all of a sudden realize who you are.
And you see your flaws and you see your ickiness and you say, well, why would he ever want me?
And I want you to know if any man stands before you and says, clean yourself up first, you're not ready to meet God.
He goes against the scripture.
Jesus says, come as you are.
Do not wait.
Do not wait to meet the king of peace.
You could never work for what he's gonna give to you for free.
It's a gift.
It is a gift.
You don't have to work for a gift.
Christmas is around the corner.
One of you, have any of you, worked for that gift?
So then why do we question our God for salvation?
And the only thing you need to do is realize what the truth is.
And to be honest, Charlene, The reason why we're in a dark place right now in this country, and a lot of people might get mad at me for saying this, we kicked God out of this country.
You can't complain about the schools after you took God out of the schools.
You cannot get upset about the government when you know damn well they don't care about Christ.
But they did before when we were prospering.
So all it takes is one person to stand up and says, no, I'm not going to believe the lie.
You can tell the snake, grab the apple, kick a rock.
I follow my God, my King.
So what had the biggest impact on you coming back to Christianity as a young man?
Pain and sorrow.
You know what I'm saying?
I grew up in a Middle Eastern house and my parents would never spare the rob.
You know what I mean?
And I look at some households and I'm like, oh, they spared the rob.
Like, for sure.
If you ever look at some kids that are not scared of their parents, those guys are psycho.
They need to go away.
If you're not scared of your parents, there is no order to the stature of where you live.
I'm terrified of my dad.
You know why?
Because he was a good dad.
He was there for me.
I didn't talk back to my mom.
You want to know why?
Because she'd rip my tongue out of my mouth.
And so I think that what we need to do is stop being afraid.
You know, Ben Carson and I had a conversation and he said something so beautiful to me.
He said, we cannot be the land of the free if we're not the home of the brave.
And so I gotta ask you guys, what are you brave about?
People come up to me all the time, they be like, bro, I love the way you speak about Jesus.
I be like, dude, why are you scared about talking about Jesus?
Have you not read the gospel where there was millions of people against barely anybody and all they did is dance and sing and praise God and all the armies fell down to their feet and you're scared about a social media post?
You're scared that somebody's gonna unfollow you?
You're scared you're not gonna have enough followers?
Jesus had twelve, one unfollowed him.
Do you think that this country is ready for a revival?
Let me ask them, are you guys ready for a revival?
It makes me really, really, really happy to see our kids getting excited about it.
And can I say something, and this has nothing to do with what we're talking about, but I pray that the Spirit of God helps me speak this.
But guys, the only people we have to be worried about is the people here, our neighbors.
We are too busy dividing each other.
A house that is divided cannot stand.
And I see more Christians going after Christians than I've ever seen in my life.
If you have a problem, there's no problem with righteously judging a man.
But you better bring the Word of God to the table if you're going to point your finger at another man.
I love every single one of you guys for being here because you guys have the fear of God in you guys.
But remember, if we only had fear, then we wouldn't really know who Jesus is.
And if Jesus came down with an attitude and an anger to wipe out the people that didn't understand, none of us would stand.
So the next time you see your neighbor who does believe in God, but maybe his traditions, maybe his worship, maybe his words, maybe his church is not perfect to the Word of God, but why don't you be the one that God sends to help this man get on the right path instead of being like what the devil wants you to be and kick him while he's down and say, you're crazy.
We have enough people in this country to say that we're crazy for believing in Christ.
My sister and I don't always agree, but there will never be one of you guys that could take us apart from each other.
Why?
Because she's my family.
And if you say that Jesus is Lord and King, you are my family.
Regardless of where you're from.
So there's, in this room, You know, thousands and thousands of young people that are going back to their college campuses.
What should their marching orders be, George, to spread the gospel, to spread the good news in this broken and confused culture?
Okay, so this is just like an honest take.
And remember, I'm 31. I just started learning, right?
So like, I'm January 3rd.
I'm the same age.
Yeah, that's crazy.
But the one thing that I learned is humility plays a big part in Jesus working with you.
And a lot of people would come up to me like, Oh my God, the way you preach, the way you preach, the way you preach.
But I never preached.
All I did was work on my flaws in front of the world.
And there, God was able to grow fruit.
It wasn't because I was telling people, hey, follow me.
It's because I was showing people, hey, don't do this because I almost robbed myself.
And hey, listen, I learned this.
So once I took the time to ask Jesus Christ, hey, what do you want from me?
Everything in my life became fruitful.
Everything in my life became fruitful.
So if you're going to college or you're starting a career or you have a talent or you have something in your life that you've been working on and you can't get it done, I truly say that if you think you're talented now, if you think you're wise now, if you think that you're sharp now, Wait until you go to the king of kings and say, hey, what do you want from me?
You are who you hang out with.
Can anybody agree?
You know, it's so funny.
What are we like in the gospel?
We're sheep.
I don't know if you ever hung out with sheep before, but they do two things.
They act like the other sheep next to them, and then they scream for help all the time.
That girl just laughed like a sheep.
I don't know if you guys heard that.
But, no, no, no, we're sheep.
So if we're going to be sheep, and you are who you hang out with, then start your morning with Christ.
Fill yourself up with the Holy Spirit so that way when you walk outside of the house, you're not acting like your friends who don't believe in Jesus Christ, but your friends will start acting like you who are reflecting Jesus Christ.
George, in closing here, talk about the encouragement you receive from people, stories of people's lives transformed that have given their life to Christ, the work of the Holy Spirit.
What have you seen just as your audience, your followers from your fans?
I think a lot of people are inspired of where I was at and then where God took me.
And I think people need to read the gospel.
I think we got into a very lazy generation where people would rather have another man tell them what God is saying.
But like, how many of you guys like listening to me talk?
I appreciate it.
But what if I told you I'm a pile of dirt?
And nothing I say should ever be something you guys should take to heart.
I am a man trying to figure it out.
And the only reason that I may give you goosebumps or may put you on the right path is because you're giving an inkling, a tiny percentage of what I brought from Christ to you.
So imagine where our country would be if we stop asking our neighbors what we could do and if we start asking Jesus what we could do.
You know, I want to leave you guys with this.
When I was a little kid, I dressed up as John F. Kennedy.
And I had one line.
And the line was, don't ask what the country could do for you, but what you could do for the country.
And I stand before you guys as George Janko, and I'm saying this truly to you guys, our people, our family, for our kingdom.
Stop asking your neighbors, your country, your family, what you should be, how you should act, and what you should be doing.
Go to your creator Go to Christ He knows you more than you'll ever know.
And he loves you with all of his heart.
The one thing I'm going to leave you with is, it's not, the problem is you do not know Jesus enough.
The truth is you do not know how much Jesus loves you.
Because if you would have known that, you would have ripped your clothes off, gone to the church, put your head onto the ground, and did nothing besides worship the way the angels in heaven are worshiping God.
