Dave Weiss's Deception? with Sean Davis and Michael Seifert

Dave Weiss, the man at the heart of the Hunter Biden investigation, reportedly told his underlings he lacked the authority to fully investigate the president's son. Now, Merrick Garland says that's not the case. So who is lying? The Federalist's Sean Davis joins for an intricate look at the full scope of the Hunter Scandal, and weighs in on how it compares to infamous scandals of the past, including Watergate. Plus, PublicSq's Michael Seifert looks back on another horrid Pride Month, and discusses how it's possible to find conservative, Christian alternatives even for products you won't expect.Support the show: http://www.charliekirk.com/supportSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campuses.
I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
I want to thank Charlie.
He's an incredible guy.
His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
That's why we are here.
Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
Joining us now is the head of Public Square, publicsq.com, Michael Siefert.
Michael, welcome to the program.
Honored to be partnering with you.
The fight in the parallel economy is one of the most important things happening in the country today.
This last weekend was Sodom and Gomorrah weekend.
Not an exaggeration.
Some of the most extraordinary, repulsive, and degenerate behavior that I have ever seen in public displays and corporate sponsors alongside of it.
Michael, what do we see first and foremost with the Sodom parades accompanied with the corporate actors that put their names around naked men dancing in front of children?
Michael Seifert.
Well, first off, Charlie, good to see you.
These events that have taken place over the weekend, most notably the one that was making around more than anywhere, was that Toronto event, that parade.
It should have been illegal.
The entire operation should have been completely disbanded by a police force that showed up and threw all the perverts in jail.
But unfortunately, that didn't happen.
Instead, they got corporate sponsorship deals.
Remember, these events are costly.
The permits to pull them off, the vendors to operate.
How do you think they paid for them?
Factors money going to this absolute charade that is cultural degeneracy on the most broad display should absolutely take everyone aback.
By the way, anybody that thought that Bud Light would have learned their lesson, reminder, Bud Light was one of the head corporate sponsors of that Toronto Pride display.
We saw their car go down the street, big Bud Light display all over it as these men had their genitals exposed while kids were walking around.
New York Pride had every major corporate sponsor backing it.
We've seen companies like Airbnb, Disney, PBS, DC Comics, Pinterest, TikTok, all of these companies line up and celebrate this cultural degeneracy.
And remember, anytime we put our money to it, we're empowering the type of behaviors you're seeing on the screen right now.
I just want to reiterate something.
These are blue chip companies.
These are Titans of business that are forking over minimum hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of dollars, or let's say tens of thousands of dollars, but they get branding and floats.
This is not just some, you know, 61-year-old woman who says, I've been a lesbian my whole life and I wanted hospital visitation rights and she waves her little flag.
And no, no, this is really sick.
We're talking about naked adults around children.
Michael, it's hard to even describe it.
We're showing it on B-roll right now.
Michael, to the best of your ability, as a father, as I am too, what is your reaction to this that blue chip companies are co-sponsoring some of the most just repulsive, there is no middle ground to this, right?
There is no other story.
Your thoughts, Michael?
Well, as a father who just had our first child, a little baby girl, eight months ago, I'm repulsed.
It makes my stomach sick because any parent that were to expose their child, and you literally see dozens of them in these clips, any parent that were to expose their child to this absolute catastrophe on this broad cultural display should have their kids stripped from them.
And the farthest thing from that is taking place.
Companies are backing these people.
You just saw the multiple Bud Light colored shirt and then the truck drove by that said official sponsor of Pride 2023 in Toronto.
It makes me angry about the future of our nation.
And transparently, Charlie, it also makes me a little angry internally toward our own movement, the conservatives that in our own apathy have allowed this to happen.
I mean, how are we just now waking up to this?
Don't get me wrong.
I'm very grateful that there seems to be this broad awakening to how disturbing all of this is, but it should have happened a decade ago.
So anytime somebody warns you now about a slippery slope, I hope we don't laugh those people off.
I hope we take them very, very seriously because they're back in thousands.
I totally agree.
Folks that told us that this was a slippery slope have been right about everything.
Yep.
And I've said this before, five, six years ago, I would have said, oh, live and let live.
That is a foolish thing.
I regret ever saying it.
It was this libertarian, whatever nonsense.
No, no, no.
They're coming after your children.
If you don't believe me, you might say, oh, Charlie, they're not coming after your children.
There's a clip of the gay mob in New York.
What were they chanting?
They were chanting, we're coming after your children.
Now, it very well could be they're doing that because they know it's going to trigger the right and troll them, or it could be that they actually believe it, that they're that they, I think we have the clip somewhere, if not.
But Michael, talk about what you're doing at Public Square.
Oh, we do have the clip.
Great.
Okay.
And then I want to ask you about what you're doing at Public Square to create alternatives to this, because you're one of our favorite partners here to actually give action, action, action, as Steve Bannon would say, so that it's not just, okay, complain, find other companies.
Use Public Square as your compass, as your navigational tool.
Your credit card is your sword.
Play cut 24.
We're coming for your children.
Michael, what is Public Square doing to fight this?
Well, we are fighting this tooth and nail, and we're doing it by taking away their power supply.
As I said at the outset of this, and Charlie, you've pointed out this repeatedly, these protests, these rallies, these cultural displays of degeneracy have to be funded.
They're coming from somewhere.
That funding is happening.
And we've seen this not only with awful displays like these Pride Month rallies.
We saw this back in the Summer of Love.
Remember, those bricks came from somewhere.
The U-Hauls came from somewhere.
Somebody is funding these operations of absolute chaos on a cultural level.
And we're trying to take away that funding supply by shifting consumer dollars to alternative companies for all of life's daily needs that will actually love your values, embrace your values, and want to protect the next generation.
They refuse to indoctrinate our children.
These are companies.
We have nearly 60,000 on our platform now, Charlie, that have all agreed with a set of core values that help the consumers know that they're not funding our opposition.
So what we're trying to do is build out an e-commerce giant marketplace.
We're actually trying to make sure that we're a one-stop shop at Public Square for all of your daily shopping needs so that you can strip your necessity to patronize Target away from your life.
You don't have to go to Target.
You won't have to go to Amazon anymore.
You won't have to rely on Yelp, find these local businesses.
We're trying to actually create a commerce solution that allows you to not only boycott, but actually move your dollars to businesses that will support reason and truth and common sense once again.
And we're doing that at publicsq.com.
PublicSQ.com.
They can download the app.
So, Michael, what businesses are you seeing really taking off right now on your directory?
What are you seeing that's really launching?
You guys were on the cutting edge to go against Target, and I get your emails.
I love your emails.
You have all sorts of different companies that you're highlighting and that you are profiling.
Michael, on your app, the Public Square app that everybody should take out their phone and download, what are you seeing businesses, entrepreneurs that are really taking off right now?
Well, Charlie, one thing that's pretty cool is that we consistently hear feedback from consumers that are joining the platform that they are blown away at some of the sort of overlooked industries that we actually need on a daily basis.
They're maybe not as sort of glamorous, but we have toilet paper companies.
We have paper towel companies.
We have Ziploc bag reports.
Believe it or not, even Ziploc has gone woke and progressive.
And so it's those daily essential companies.
In fact, there's a great household cleaning product called Naturally It's Clean that is absolutely thriving on our platform right now.
And they make household sprays because Seventh Generation, which was sort of the industry leader in the world of clean, healthy household living, they decided that they wanted to make it their beck and call and their campaign to defund the police.
Why a household kitchen spray would be interested in defunding the police?
I have no idea.
But naturally it's clean.
The alternative to that with actually clean products is fighting against it and they're thriving in our market.
So we're seeing small businesses prosper.
Over 90% of the businesses on our marketplace of those nearly 60,000 are small businesses that deserve your support.
And actually what's neat, Charlie, and I'll finish with this, the majority of the businesses on our platform will actually give you discounts to shop there.
So not only are we trying to fight the fight of shifting commerce toward patriots, we're trying to give discounts in the process so we can actually incentivize that journey and it's working.
Michael Seifert, great work.
PublicSQ.com, download the app.
Thank you so much.
Thank you, Charlie.

Whistleblower Evidence Exposed 00:10:13
There's a lot of confusion, at least on my part, on what is exactly going on with this whistleblower.
Well, the whistleblower, let's say, drama is what is resulting now in the clamoring around trying to impeach Joe Biden or we should impeach Joe Biden.
Important story on the Federalist, IRS whistleblower emails suggest David Weiss misled Congress in letter claiming charging authority.
Okay, joining us now is Sean Davis.
Sean, thank you for making time for us.
You've been really, really good and detailed on the whistleblower stuff.
Take as much time as you need.
Walk us through who are these whistleblowers?
What do we know?
And what are they alleging?
So, the biggest whistleblower, and I think the most impactful one, his name is Gary Shapley.
He was a top criminal tax investigator at the IRS.
He's still there.
They've roughly sidelined him.
He's worked on some of the biggest tax cases on earth, looking at issues across the globe.
And he was the guy leading a team of IRS investigators looking into the Hunter Biden case.
I think he's been working on it for something like four or five years.
And they had Hunter dead to right.
This guy who wasn't just not paying taxes, wasn't even filing taxes.
You can kind of understand why, because when you're shaking down foreign oligarchs and you're getting bribed and stuff like that based on the family name and a promise to do influence, that's generally not money that's super easy to report.
And so he wasn't reporting, wasn't paying.
They have text messages from Hunter to Chinese Communist Party connected oligarchs, where he told them, Hey, the Biden family can destroy you if you don't pay us.
And by the way, my father goes here room with me.
And if you don't pay us $5 million almost immediately, he and I are going to make sure we're your worst enemies.
I'm paraphrasing.
I'm not pulling an Adam Schiff where I claim that that's verbatim.
I'm paraphrasing the text.
And these were on the left.
That's the essence of what it is, Sean.
You're right.
Yeah.
And so the IRS, the FBI, had Hunter Biden dead to right.
And along comes this whistleblower who says, Yeah, we had this guy.
We built this case.
We had crimes, multiple jurisdictions.
We were ready to go at every step of the process.
EOJ tried to shut us down.
They told us we couldn't charge here.
We couldn't charge there.
And David Weiss, the man who was capped to lead this investigation, a Delaware U.S. attorney for the Department of Justice, told these investigators, yeah, guys, sorry.
You know, I want to be special counsel.
They won't let me do that.
I want to bring tax charges in D.C., they won't let me do that.
So this is all I can do.
What's fascinating is we didn't get this evidence.
We didn't get this information from the whistleblowers through Congress until after David Weiss himself lettered Judiciary Committee in the House saying, I'm the ultimate authority.
It's up to me to decide whether, when, or how we're going to pursue charges.
And what's happening now is we've got some very, very well-attested, credible, contemporaneous evidence from these IRS whistleblowers that directly contradict claims from both Merrick Garland and David Weiss that there was no DOJ interference and that Weiss himself was in charge of everything.
Somebody here is lying.
We're going to need to figure out how we go about getting truth.
Yeah, so Sean, I mean, and the question is, why would the whistleblower lie?
Right?
So let's dive into this.
Who is this guy?
If he lied, it would be silly.
We know why Merrick Garland would lie.
We know why Weiss would lie.
We don't know why the whistleblower would lie.
So just on a surface level reading of this, it's probably fair to say that there's some truth here, right?
Sean, your thoughts.
Right.
And we have contemporaneous emails.
Gary Shapley, the lead IRS whistleblower, wrote a memorialization memorandum for this meeting that occurred on October 7th, 2022, where he wrote down everything that happened in the meeting, everything that we said, sent it around to the people who were there.
The people who were there read that email sent contemporaneously, said, yes, that was our read of the meeting.
So to me, it's not an issue of whether the whistleblower is lying.
He's credible.
There's evidence suggesting that what he said was the truth.
There's corroborating evidence.
To me, the question was: did David Weiss lie to that entire team of investigators when he claimed to have charging authority?
Did he lie to them when he said that he had asked for special counsel status and was rejected?
Did he lie to the investigators in that meeting when he said he wanted to bring charges in Delaware but couldn't?
So what are you going to do?
So the question really isn't to me whether the whistleblowers lied.
They didn't.
There's evidence they're telling the truth.
The question is, did David Weiss lie to all those investigators to make it look like he wasn't the one making the decision?
Or did he and Merrick Garland lie to Congress when they both claimed he was the ultimate 40?
That's the question.
But at some point, in one of these scenarios, you know, David Weiss, he either lied to these investigators or he lied to Congress along with Merrin Garland.
There should be very, very serious repercussions for that, given that the former president of the U.S. is being criminally charged for possessing documents that were his documents.
But we have the president's son with the president now in the room when he was selling influence to Chinese oligarchs.
How on earth has that not resulted in impeachment and removal of Biden as president?
The man was literally selling influence to foreign enemies of the United States.
Or how about Steve Bannon, who is facing federal prison time for not cooperating with the January 6th Committee?
So, Sean, you've been around this business for a while.
I don't like hyperbole.
You don't do hyperbole.
But can you just, to your best of your ability, build out how serious this is?
I mean, I appreciate your commitment to precision.
I'm reading the text messages here, and your summary is exactly right.
I mean, it's basically a shakedown.
And he got the wire transfer.
And so, Sean, I'm afraid that we're going to get awfully jaded and cynical if some of these people are not actually held accountable.
So let's map this out from a strategy standpoint, Sean.
You're Speaker McCarthy or you're the House GOP, who deserve credit, by the way, for getting points on the board six months in to get all this figured out.
They deserve credit.
Paul Ryan never did any of this.
What is the best course of action to impeach Garland, to go after Weiss, to go after impeachment of Joe Biden?
Strategically, how should we proceed?
Well, I think it's important to flesh out everything we're getting from these whistleblowers.
I believe Charles Grassley and the Senate deserve huge credit for how he protects and works with whistleblowers to get this information out.
Because you'll recall, House learned that there was this document that had been hidden away at the FBI from a very credible FBI source detailing a very complicated bribery influence scheme with Hunter Biden's appointment.
It's all contained in FBI source documents called 1023.
The FBI hid those documents.
They hid them from Congress.
And even when they let Congress look at them, they redacted out that the whistleblower and the source in this case actually was told that there are recordings of Joe Biden talking about these schemes.
And it was Chuck Grassley who came out because of what he had learned from his whistleblowers who said, hey, the FBI redacted this stuff about even more damning information that they have.
So the first thing we need is we need to know everything whistleblowers.
The second thing is we've had the FBI and the DOJ hiding and lying.
They've been hiding evidence and they've been lying from Congress.
So Garland and Christopher Wray, at a minimum, they need to be held in contempt.
They need to be impeached.
They likely need to be removed.
But as far as scandals go, in my view, I think this is the biggest corruption scandal in American history.
It's bigger than Watergate, with the two-bit break-in of a party headquarters.
This is a multi-year coordinated scheme to defraud the government, sell influence, to enrich the Biden family, and it was covered up and abetted by our own Department of Justice.
Watergate is a fool party compared to this.
So I think the House needs to very shortly begin to put together impeachment proceedings for Ray, Garland, and Biden and actually follow through it.
You know, we can't control what the Senate does, but for the historical record, it needs to be clear that this behavior cannot be tolerated from a president family.
Yeah, I used to be against impeachment because I thought I was only going to make Joe Biden a victim.
Not anymore.
I mean, the reason I was not against it, I was just like, it's kind of a waste of time.
I don't think it's necessary.
I think it's necessary for a variety of reasons.
So if you're Speaker McCarthy, do you put articles of impeachment for both Merrick Garland and Joe Biden?
Do you incorporate Maorkis in it?
And I mean, so what's the fear of not doing it?
Let's play devil's advocate.
What's the worst case scenario if we end up doing that?
The worst case scenario is we learn all the facts and the Senate chooses not to acquit, which is what it did twice.
Trump.
They impeached Donald Trump twice, once for a phone call and once for a speech where he told people to be peaceful.
So that's the new standard here.
I'm a big believer in everyone living under the same standards, political or rule of law.
The left crossed that rhoton and it needs to be returned reciprocally from the right.
Majorcas, honestly, I believe, a sideshow.
I know that there's a lot of people in the Congress who are upset about how he's handling the border because it's a disaster.
But we're talking about the presidency of the United States, the vice presidency, because Biden was also vice president, being sold to the highest bidder, in many cases, our enemies.
Democrats Worried About 2024 00:07:03
This is communist China.
And look, Hunter Biden, say what you will about the guy.
You know, he's a sad story.
He's a crack addict.
Leave the guy alone.
But this guy was collecting tens of millions of dollars on behalf of the family.
Nobody can say he had any real skills that he was using to earn this money.
Baris Mudd, the Ukrainian gas concern, didn't hire him because he was a brilliant energy analyst.
They hired him because they wanted the Biden family on their side.
It's the same with every single one of these stories.
And you go back to the 2020 election with Cody Bobolinsky, a former Biden business partner, saying, yeah, Joe Biden knew all about this.
We were selling the Biden name.
We were selling the influence of the Biden family in official matters of the U.S. for millions of dollars in cash.
That cannot be tolerated.
And it cannot be tolerated when you have a Department of Justice trying to throw their people in prison for nothing.
Hunter Biden is an irredeemable parasite.
I hope he finds the Lord.
That's his only hope.
Because in a sane society, he would face the death penalty for what he's done.
Not to mention the scum rat behavior where he just pretends like he doesn't have a daughter in Arkansas.
He's a disgusting person.
That whole family is disgusting.
Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
Some of these hacks you see online are frankly ridiculous.
So-called shortcuts that are more complicated than the problem that they're trying to solve.
But here's a life hack secret that I have found, and I am living proof that it works.

Sean, it's hard to even keep track of all the different international business deals that the Biden crime syndicate has put forward.
Sean, this is pure speculation, but do you see any indication that the Democrat oligarchs are thinking that they should remove Joe Biden in the 2024 election?
Or is this just not phasing them?
Are you seeing any, as we say in the show, whispers or vibrations or vibe shifts?
Sean Davis.
Well, I think they're definitely a little worried about it.
See how the two-headed White House press secretary monster, Corinne Jean-Pierre and John Kirby, have handled it whenever they're asked pretty questions.
You know, was Joe Biden in the room with Hunter when Hunter was supporting a Chinese oligarch for five or ten million dollars?
They won't answer.
They walk out of the room.
So it's becoming a little difficult for them to run interference on this.
But I guess I have a hard time seeing them wanting to get rid of Joe Biden over it or wanting the Democrat power brokers trying to get rid of him.
Recall how this guy came into office.
The Democrat establishment helped the media and big tech basically dragged a corpse over the finish line in 2020.
He ran no campaign.
He had no real platform.
And they managed to get him into the White House.
And the situation the Democrats have right now is we all know Joe Biden isn't the actual president.
We all know he's not the one making the decision.
He's simply not capable of it.
So the people who run the party are getting to run that presidency and run the government.
And I don't see them having any incentive or any real reason to switch out Joe Biden, someone with a brain who might make his or own decisions.
I think they like the way this is working out.
They're in charge.
They don't have any real opposition.
And I think they plan to run the 2020 ballot operation again in 2024.
So I just have a hard time seeing them wanting to pitch Joe Biden overboard at this point.
Yeah, I mean, I can imagine the more ambitious Democrats with war chests, J.B. Pritzker and Gavin Newsom, are potentially angling, but I don't see any evidence yet, Sean.
It seems as if the machine is more important than the candidate, such as ballot chasing, signature verification, all that.
So, Sean, let me ask you: this is a separate but related topic.
Have you seen any evidence yet that the Republican establishment is making the necessary inroads in Wisconsin, Arizona, or Georgia so that Joe Biden won't be elected for another four years?
Are you hopeful, or do you think that we need a little bit more of a sense of urgency?
Oh, we absolutely need urgency.
And in fact, I think most of the effort being poured into the ballot base, ballot operation on the right, places like Georgia, Arizona, Wisconsin.
I'm hearing a lot about that from outside groups, from conservative organizations.
I see very little evidence Republican establishment is doing much to invest in that.
And quite frankly, I'm so cynical right now about the party establishment.
I think a lot of them would be happy to lose in 2024 with Trump as the nominee so they could then use that as a cudgel against the voters saying, hey, you idiots, we told you this wouldn't work.
And now look what happened.
You need to hand control the party back over to us.
We're the smart ones, put us in charge again.
So I don't think the party establishment really airs all that much whether they have good ballot operation in Wisconsin because I'm not sure they actually want to win in 2024.
Yeah, that's a tough realization.
Sean, just really quick, can you build that out?
How, for some new listeners that have not been seasoned, they can't quite comprehend how Republicans wouldn't want to win.
One minute, just finish that argument, please.
It's compelling.
Yeah, well, so let's look at what's happened over the last month.
We had the president charge the crime of having been president with his own documents.
We've had DOJ cover up massive criminality on behalf of the current president and the family.
And do you know what the Senate minority leader, the Republican leader, Mitch McConnell, has said about all of that?
Absolutely nothing.
The man has not said a single word.
And that man controls so much money, so much power in the party establishment.
So when I see that, I say, well, you know, it's pretty easy to see.
They don't really care what actually happens with the country as long as they get to be in charge of their own little fee and they get table scrapped from the Democrats.
Sean Davis and the Federalists, excellent commentary.
