Fox News is paying a whopping $787 million settlement to Dominion Voting Systems, and Charlie's fans are split. Charlie explains why the case matters even if you're not a Fox fan, and why the network is so valuable to America even if it isn't perfect. Then, he fits this case into a broader context, showing how this is just one front in a wider war to persecute, punish, and imprison anyone linked to the 2016 victory of Donald Trump.Support the show: http://www.charliekirk.com/supportSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Dominion Lawsuit Nonsense00:15:00
Hey everybody, thank Charlie Kirk Show.
Why we need Fox News and why this Dominion lawsuit is total nonsense.
As always, you can email us, freedom at charliekirk.com and get involved with turningpointusa at tpusa.com.
That is tpusa.com.
Buckle up, everybody.
Here we go.

He's an incredible guy.
His spirit, his love of this country.
He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
That's why we are here.
Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
Yesterday, Fox News decided to settle with Dominion Voting Systems for a staggering $787 million.
Now, the facts surrounding this case are interesting.
And I am going to stand by my earlier statement that we need all forms of conservative media.
And it's a good thing that in 100 million homes, if you count DirecTV and you count Comcast and you count Spectrum, that there is a conservative option.
Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingram, Jesse Waters, they do a fabulous job.
And of course, you could disagree with plenty of Fox, what Fox does.
Maria Bartaromo, fabulous.
I certainly, and Turning Point USA have certainly benefited from being able to go on Fox throughout the years.
Fox made a settlement because they were at risk of maybe paying twice as much of that at trial.
So what was that dispute?
Well, the dispute was about Dominion voting machines.
This was all during that incredibly confusing period of time from Election Day 2020 all the way to Inauguration Day 2021.
I have to say that was one of the strangest couple of months I have ever lived through in politics in my 11 years of doing this.
It was weird for so many reasons.
Our team is agreeing in our chat.
Just the stories, what was going viral.
We streamed nonstop.
We would do a show and then we would stream in the evening.
And we were always focused on our program, on the actual, a lot of the stuff that ended up coming really true, which was ballot custody, signature verification.
We came up with the whole word ballot trafficking and we were correct.
We had that big whiteboard.
And we came up, we resurrected the term granny farming.
We talked about Dane County, Wisconsin.
Those were some fun days.
It was exhausting.
And then remember, there was the Georgia runoff in December of 2020.
Actually, I'm sorry.
No, it was January.
It was actually January 5th, 2021.
But we were campaigning in December of 2020.
And you could go back and you could look at some of our interviews and our live streams.
We had a lot of viewers there.
But there was this theory that Dominion voting machines was manipulating votes and that any media company that was platforming that idea even in the slightest was engaging in outright disinformation.
Now, Fox settling, and again, I'm not a legal expert.
I don't quite understand how on earth they could have lost in a meaningful trial, right?
I'm not meaningful, but like an actual serious trial, because I don't understand how this is protected by speech.
But however, it seems as if the Dominion case was largely supported by the private text messages of Fox News producers and Fox News hosts that were saying they knew that what they were putting on television was false, but they were doing it simply for money.
Now, that doesn't make any sense to me personally because you could have guests on that you disagree with all the time to ask critical questions and ask challenging questions.
I mean, for example, we had Senator Kramer on our program, who I think's a sweet person, but I don't agree with what he was saying.
And so are you not allowed to have guests that you disagree with or you think that they're wrong on certain things?
But this particular judge had already ruled against Fox News.
It was going to be a brutal public trial involving their on-air talent and 92-year-old Rupert Murdoch.
And rumors around jury selection say it did not go well.
There's another lawsuit coming up around SmartMatic.
And none of this is justice.
Now, some of you in the audience are not fans of Fox News.
Okay, I think the country needs Fox News.
I think the country needs Real America's voice.
I mean, the country needs all these platforms right now, especially talent like Jesse Waters, Laura Ingram, and Tucker Carlson.
But let's put that aside.
If you accept Dominion's claim that Fox defamed them, and it's hardly a slam dunk, then the amount they sued for was 44 times their annual revenue.
This sets a very, very dangerous precedent for conservative and for heterodox media.
This is not whether or not you agree with Fox News or disagree with them.
It doesn't matter how much you hate Fox News or love Fox News.
The reason this case goes as far as it did and reached the ludicrous damage amounts is because of the aggressive lawyers and the accommodating court.
But also, remember, judges read newspapers too.
The media was cheerleading for this nonstop.
Every move of this trial was covered by the New York Times, was covered by the Washington Post.
And so there was a media cover job.
You see, this is not about Fox News.
This is about should we change our legal standards just to try to get Fox and get the conservative media company.
This is not about justice.
This is about vengeance.
The clear theme that arises from the Dominion settlement, from the Douglas Mackey case, from the January 6th witch hunts, from the NRA being an illegal quagmire, from James O'Keefe having his apartment raided, is that the left is fanatical about abusing the legal system to target, hobble, fine, ruin, and imprison anyone they blame for putting Trump in power.
And that includes Fox News.
They tried to do that to the NRA, and they did that successfully, largely.
James O'Keefe, Steve Bannon.
This is another chapter in how the left tries to take down institutions they do not like.
And whether you love Fox or you hate Fox, here's a fact.
Fox News is without a doubt the most powerful center-right media company.
It remains to be, and that it played a very big role in getting Donald Trump elected in 2016.
And for that, the left will never forgive them.
Let's play some tape here.
Play Cut 70, the Dominion attorney thanks the regime media for helping defeat Fox News, PlayCut 70.
One last thank you, which is really to all of you for being with us on this journey.
We appreciate what you've done to help us and to help expose what we were able to discover over the course of this process.
And so thank you, and we'll see you at the next one.
This sets a very dangerous precedent of kind of a catch and kill type scenario.
I do not understand, obviously, the specifics of the law.
But can somebody tell me why this was even a case?
Despite the fact that you might have private text messages of people thinking they're not true to ask questions and have guests on your program, is that not constitutionally protected speech?
That this now hits the threshold of a $787 million settlement.
This is bad across the board.
This is bad for future conservative media, for future opposition, challenging and questions.
And by the way, this only further empowers the plaintiff's lawyers.
They're talking about going after show after show after show and conservative personality and anyone that spread COVID disinformation.
And Fox was in a tough spot.
Fox was in a no-win scenario because you could go into a trial and you could get hit with a settlement judgment for a billion dollars like Alex Jones was.
The goal is not justice.
The goal is wiping the enemy off the face of the earth.
Fox could have had to pay even more money and go through a very costly, long trial.
The original amount they asked for was $1.3 billion.
And then the question is, when can we sue Adam Schiff and MSNBC for the Russian collusion dossier lies?
A judge would probably throw it out, honestly.
And that's where we're at.
The legal system is eager to try to get anything conservative and protect anything left-wing and liberal.

So we have to understand that this is not by some, let's just say, accident.
This isn't a left-wing advanced tactic.
This isn't some fly-by-night thing where they got lucky.
This isn't some mistake.
No, they're trying to take out anything that is conservative.
Anything.
And in particular, look, there are some shows that are not a threat to the regime on Fox News.
I'm not going to say any names.
But Tucker Carlson's show is absolutely a threat to the regime.
Fox and Friends is largely a threat to the regime.
The fact that there is a cable network that routinely outperforms network television bothers them.
It bothers them a lot.
And so what we're seeing here in this settlement is a precedent.
I don't understand For the life of me, how Fox could be in a bad legal situation for just having guests on that even that they think are not telling the truth that they could ask critical questions of.
There's an entire left-wing infrastructure that exists simply and solely trying to take out this program, the Charlie Kirk Show, trying to take out Real America's Voice, trying to take out Fox News.
One of the takeaways here is that this is by design.
That there is a well-funded nonprofit left-wing infrastructure that is there to try and take out any sort of dissident communication networks.
In Canada, in Australia, in Germany, in Europe, they have no such platforms like we have here.
And that's the country they want to try to create through the Restrict Act and through settlements and through lawfare like this.
Now, many of you, I'm not going to defend Fox settling or not defend Fox settling.
I don't know all the details.
Many of you are saying, oh, Charlie, they should have gone all the way to trial.
I mean, they very well could have had to pay an even bigger settlement or they could have won in trial, or it could have been a humiliating type trial.
I don't know.
The bigger point, though, is this: this is just another chapter in a long book.
This is another iteration in a pattern of well-funded left-wing nonprofits that are engaging in cultural takeover, a cultural revolution, and they are going to try to obliterate anything in the way.
And you might say, oh, Charlie, who cares?
It's just Fox.
It's not a big deal.
I don't like Fox.
They're going to come for every major network imaginable.
They're going to come for Matt Walsh.
Just yesterday, Matt Walsh got literally hacked.
Literally, they got it.
I mean, the Matt Walsh story is unbelievable.
We should build it out.
It's really something where these people, the lengths they go to.
AM Radio is under attack right now.
AM Radio is under attack in a huge way, the same way Rush Lumbaugh was under attack.
And then they're talking about social media restrictions.
They're attacking Elon Musk.
You see, when they don't get their way, the regime will do everything possible.
They took the NRA out of the game.
They take every host they don't like off the game.
They kick people off the social media.
They take Alex Jones and they've completely tried to take him off the chessboard through social media censorship, through massive lawsuits.
This is how these people operate.
They engage in all-out blitzkrieg against their opponents.
And this is not going to stop.
You see, one of the main issues that I have with how this entire story was covered is we act as if everyone was given a fair hearing in this.
They venue shop.
They find a judge that they like.
This lawsuit was about trying to kill Fox permanently.
And you better believe there were left-wing forces and left-wing nonprofits behind them, pushing it in the media every single day.
They are salivating at the idea that they could take out Fox News, take out the Wall Street Journal, take out any sort of media outlet that has widespread distribution.
Now, you might say, oh, Charlie, we don't need Fox News.
Here's my counter argument, though.
Strong Cell Network Power00:02:45
If you understand actually how cable television works, there's only a couple networks that are allowed in the central menu of cable channel selection.
For example, if you go to Direct TV or go to Comcast, they only have certain channels of certain genre.
They only have a certain amount of news channels.
So, for example, in the 60 news channels, you can see this best, by the way, when you go to a hotel room, right?
So you'll see that they have HLN, they have CNN, they have MSNBC, and they have Fox News.
That's it.
Maybe a Fox business or a CNBC.
Fox is the only one of those that is expressing any point of opinion.
You might say, oh, we don't need Fox News.
Well, then the central menu of where 100 million people go to get their news could be removed.
And they're just going to replace it with another left-wing network.
The fact that we have a conservative network that works with these cable companies is significant.
Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
Are you tired of feeling burnt out and struggling to stay productive throughout the day?
Does brain fog and short-term memory loss keep you from functioning at your best?

How do you have mental clarity?
Go do some research on NAD.
It is a precursor to ATP, which is your body's life source.

Getting a lot of emails here.
Definitely not fans.
We have some fans of Fox.
Some people don't like Fox.
Someone says, you don't need to mansplain the inner workings of cable.
You may be losing me with this one.
Yeah, okay.
Well, I'm not trying to man splain, but I don't think every person in the audience, maybe you all know how the intricacies of cable networks work, I guess.
Yeah, but look, I'll be honest, I'm a little concerned.
I'm a little concerned because many of you are emailing us with joy that Fox has to pay this here on Real America's Voice.
And be careful.
Be careful, understand.
I mean, be careful.
First of all, don't celebrate a network that sometimes is frustrating, sometimes gets stuff right.
Don't Celebrate Fox Yet00:03:05
I mean, they have Bongino, Jesse Waters, Bartaromo, Tucker, Laura.
They got some great voices there.
Pete Hegseth is amazing, right?
The way cable works is that if Fox falls, there is no replacement on the core 100 million homes.
It's just the way it works.
There's 100 million homes that the core Comcast Spectrum and Direct TV have.
They go through negotiations.
Now, those three companies, they pay their top performers per sub per subscriber.
So, for example, CNN gets a premium of nearly $8 to $10 a home.
It's true.
Fox News only gets about $3 or $4 per home, depending on the negotiation.
So Fox News gets a lot, Fox News gets far less money than CNN gets.
Now, so for example, you take DirecTV, right?
So DirecTV is probably 40 million homes, and they'll pay CNN like $6 or whatever it is.
So it's like, that's $200 million.
Okay, I want to now talk about the Elon Tucker interview because it's related to that.
It's big, you know, lots of implications here.
Let's play Cut 46.
Is Twitter going to be fair in the upcoming elections?
Play Cut 46.
Do you think Twitter will be as central to this presidential campaign as it was in the last several?
I think it will play a significant role in elections, not just domestically, but internationally.
The goal of new Twitter is to be as fair and even-handed as possible.
So not favoring any political ideology, but just Being fair to all.
This is Elon with Tucker Carlson saying that Twitter is not going to censor political speech.
Just yesterday, Elon Musk reversed a policy that we got banned from Twitter for, which is quote unquote dead naming.
So prior, you were not allowed to call Levine Richard Levine, which was his birth name.
You could get kicked off of Twitter for that, quote unquote, dead naming a person.
Now, you're able to say that.
Let's go to Cut 48.
Elon talking about Twitter being bought at half of what he bought it for, worth half of what he bought for, Cut 48.
You've had a lot of hassle since you bought it.
In retrospect, was it worth buying it?
I mean, it remains to be seen as to whether this was financially smart.
Currently, it is not.
You know, we just revalued the company at less than half of the acquisition price.
Yes.
You caught the high watermark, I noticed.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So it must be a real genius here.
My timing is amazing.
Since I've voted for at least twice as much as it should have been voted for.
Tyranny Of Secular Extremism00:05:52
The question that remains is: what is the left going to do next?
And the answer is they will accelerate.
They only know how to move forward.
They'll pick a new target.
They'll pick a new organization, a new news company.
And they will try to take them down one at a time.
You see, by definition, the left does not build.
They only take over.
And they're trying to make it seem as if that resistance to them is futile, that do not push back against their private-public partnership type regime.
As we said yesterday, Angelo Cotavilla, who wrote the book Ruling Class, wrote this beautifully.
He said, quote, its attitude is key.
The attitude of the ruling class is key to understanding how the bipartisan elite live.
Its first tenet is that we are the best and brightest, while the rest of Americans are retrograde, racist, and dysfunctional unless properly constrained.
This is very important.
Why do they hate Real America's voice and they're trying to take it out?
Why do they hate the Charlie Kirk show?
Why do they hate Steve Bannon?
Why do they hate Elon Musk?
It's because a voice is given to the people that they consider to be retrograde, racist, and dysfunctional.
You.
They hate any sort of effort or attempt to give you a voice.
That is really what at play here.
It's not about the hosts of the show as much as the host of the show speaking in a manner that you might find persuasive.
The left wants to take out anything they cannot control.
And they cannot control the muscular class in Missouri.
They cannot control Christians in Kentucky.
Driving through LA recently, in kind of West Hollywood area, it's a completely different planet.
And it's not even June.
And at every corner in certain neighborhoods of West Hollywood, you have gay flag after gay flag after gay flag.
And you wonder if they have 99% agreement in those neighborhoods on their views, why are they so concerned with then trying to force, trying to punish people that do not share their enthusiasm for these sort of views?
And that is one of the characteristics of the psychology of an American left-wing activist.
Part of the psychology of the American left is that they are not happy just living how they want to live.
They want you to live in their way.
Or at least, at the very least, they want you to voice public support for them.
It's not enough that you accept them or that you tolerate them or that you even celebrate them.
You must participate in the practices alongside of them.
Here's a piece of evidence right here.
Patty Laponi, a guest on the view, just compared Christians to the Taliban.
This is considered to be thoughtful dialogue on the view, play cut 67.
This before, and I'm going to get in trouble, but I have said this before and it's been in print.
I don't know what the difference between our Christian right and the Taliban is.
I have no idea what the difference is.
You're not the only person who said that.
I don't.
I just don't know what the difference is.
What's happening in this country right now in the name of religion is so dangerous.
Is it?
You see, the people on the view, I would love to go on the view.
I really would.
I would love to go on the view and have a chat with them.
Because I would acknowledge that some places in America, not America, someplace around the world, you can have religious extremism.
There might be pockets here and there.
But can you have secular extremism?
Can you have extremism of the non-religious?
That is a far greater threat to our way of life.
The idea that men give birth does not come from the religious.
The idea that you can chemically castrate 11-year-olds does not come from the religious.
The idea that you cannot define what a man or a woman is does not come from Christians.
The idea that a bunch of black youth pillaging downtown Chicago and that's just protests does not come from Christians.
No, that's secular extremism.
And we have this non-stop, exhausting, and at times nauseating narrative that it's always the religious extremists that are the ones that we have to look out for.
Sure, all ideologies can get to extremes, but we're not even close to that in America.
We're at the opposite.
We are now being ruled by the tyranny of secular extremism.
Question is then, what do we do about it?
Well, this Fox thing is very interesting.
And I want to just hit home this point.
Having big media is important.
Elon going on Fox is a good thing.
What is the alternative?
They go on the view.
Elon taking over Twitter is a good thing.
Certainly, based on the emails we receive, many of you say, we don't like Elon.
We don't like Fox.
We don't like any of these.
That's fine.
Just be careful trying to tear down every institution that might not see the world 100% the way you and I might see it.
The left doesn't do that.
The left considers that if you are somewhat of an ally with them, as long as it's on the big stuff, they'll leave you alone.
And they are non-stop.
They are relentless towards trying to destroy our lives.
Pride Month Vaccine Debate00:03:45
The New York Times is really outdoing itself.
The New York Times opinion piece says how gay men saved us from monkeypox and lessons for future outbreaks.
While the outbreak ended faster than many believed it would, it was far worse than it needed to be, representing both a public health triumph and public health failure.
Both health officials and the media failed to expeditiously warn and engage the gay community in the outbreak's crucial first weeks.
There's another important lesson about the gay community that health officials and journalists need to remember going forward.
When it comes to emerging health threats, even ones that can spread sexually, gay men can handle the truth.
You can give it to them straight.
Can they handle the truth?
To give you an idea of how much misinformation there is in medicine.
This is a true story.
I haven't told this story yet.
When we had our baby and we were at the hospital, we were trying to get out as quickly as possible, but there's some issues.
We had to stay longer than I would have liked.
And one of the nurses comes in and start talking, and she was wearing a mask.
I was like, oh, why are you wearing a mask?
And she's like, well, you know, that monkeypox is going around.
You're a nurse.
Are you kidding?
She's like, oh, no, no, it's a real thing.
You know, a lot of kids are getting monkeypox.
I said, oh, a lot of kids are getting monkeypox.
How do you think they get it?
And she said, well, you know, orally through transmission.
I said, you're a nurse.
You can't be going around saying stuff like that.
She says, I know what I'm talking about and you don't.
I said, okay, you might be worried about getting the cold or a flu or COVID.
I don't know if the mask is going to help you, but maybe it will.
But you got a mask in the wrong part of your body if you're trying to prevent monkeypox transmission.
And we left it at that.
It's just amazing how much misinformation there is out there.
This is a person who's tasked with administering the truth to patients.
It's just unbelievable.
Please do your research, everybody, before you take advice from certain.
There's some fabulous doctors and there's some awful doctors.
There's fabulous people.
There's awful people.
Now, remember, they didn't like the name monkeypox because they said it was racist.
Who's the racists, actually, if you guys think that the term monkey pox has something to do with anything other than the fact that it came from an animal?
Maybe you guys are thinking about things that we aren't.
This opinion piece is absolutely unbelievable.
Unfortunately, stigma and discrimination found the community anyway.
Gay men with monkeypox were turned away from urgent care clinics and emergency rooms.
And the gay community listened.
Oh, did they listen to the actual way you could make sure you don't get monkeypox?
Which is very simple, like stop having gratuitous gay sex.
Like, no.
Instead, they talk here about vaccine distribution.
And 90% were given to men, and they can get the truth straight.
It's just nauseating, this whole thing.
Get ready, everybody.
We're heading to June soon.
What is it, in a month and a half?
It's going to be quite a month of pride month.
Speaking of which, yesterday, I was sent this picture in downtown Los Angeles.
Maybe we could put this up, maybe not.
I think this was written up.
I must have missed the story because somebody said they saw it.
Disney is hosting a pride concert at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles, performed by the Gay Men Chorus of Los Angeles.
Life, Love, Family, and Pride.
There it is.
Thank you.
Disney is going all in.
The company that is making content for your kids, the content that many of you pay for every single month through Disney Plus, this is their celebration in the month of June.
Disney Pride in concert.
Are children going to be there?
Remains to be seen.
Not to mention, Colorado just has become the first transgender tourism state.
Colorado Transgender Tourism State00:01:23
Governor Polis, who pretends to be this moderate, just signed a bill allowing children to travel for puberty blockers, even if drugs were banned where they live, to become a sanctuary state for chemical castration.
Let it be known that California and Colorado are saying that, hey, kids, if your parents don't want you to take Lupron, which by the way, is considered to be by the ACLU too cruel of a drug for people that are rapists to take, that's a real lawsuit the ACLU filed.
That rapists, because for a while we used to castrate rapists by giving them Lupron, but there was a lawsuit saying it's sick and inhumane.
But now we give them at age 12.
And Colorado wants to become a destination for that.
Colorado wants to be known not just for their, let's say, indulgence in cannabis being a mile high, but they also want to be known at the place where kids from around the world, around the country, can flee their parents, vulnerable kids, and to castrate themselves.
That's what Colorado wants to be known as.
