Malicious Mayors in Maryland with Senator Josh Hawley
Patrick Wojahn, the first gay mayor of College Park, Maryland, is now a pending sex criminal after being arrested on 56 counts of child porn. That's bad news for the White House, where he was a frequent guest, and for Pete Buttigieg, who enjoyed "mentoring" him. Charlie unpacks this dark story, then welcomes Senator Josh Hawley to discuss his latest standoff with Merrick Garland, and what he is doing to ensure the Justice Department can never terrorize lawful citizens again.Support the show: http://www.charliekirk.com/supportSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
I want to thank Charlie.
He's an incredible guy.
His spirit, his love of this country.
He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
That's why we are here.
Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
We're going to start with a story that is pretty disgusting, I'll be honest, but it needs to be covered and talked about.
We're not going to spend too much time on it, but it needs to be talked about.
Democrat mayor in Maryland arrested on 56 child pornography-related charges.
The mayor of College Park, Maryland, Patrick Wojan, was arrested Thursday on 56 child pornography possession and distribution charges.
He's a gay activist, 47-year-old, gay activist, Democrat, faces 40 counts of possession.
It's hard to even read this, I'll be honest.
It's so disgusting.
It's vomit-inducing, but it's real.
So if you don't have the stomach for this, then I apologize.
Possession of exploitive child material and 16 counts of distribution of exploitive child material.
A press release from the Prince George County Police Department said.
Now, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children were first alerted that the department had a social media account operating within the county was distributing, quote, suspected child pornography on February 17th, according to PGPD.
And law enforcement deserves credit for working quickly and arresting a rather high-profile Democrat, someone that is, and we'll talk about this in a second, someone that is off, was awfully popular with Buttigieg and that whole cabal.
Regular guest at the White House, all that.
And by the way, just so we're clear, at least 13 mayors in the last couple of years have been arrested on child sex crimes since 2021.
That's really strange, isn't it?
So he resigned as mayor of College Park, Maryland.
College Park, Maryland is where the University of Maryland is.
Now, why this story is noteworthy is that this is not just some random person.
This seems to be a buddy-buddy with Mayor Pete, one of Mayor Pete's best friends.
Has Mayor Pete spoke out against this?
I haven't seen anything.
This is a close confidant, it seems.
Multiple pictures.
In fact, they said it was a mentor-mentee relationship.
Multiple times that they're photographed together.
Now, I am going to push back against some of the rush to judgment where no way can we possibly do guilt by association.
Did Pete Budigej know about this?
Was he aware of this?
I doubt it, to be honest.
I don't want to even speculate on that, but it does warrant an answer, which is, hey, this is someone that you were mentoring.
Is this okay?
And I think one of the reasons also this story deserves some attention is that it is part of a theme that we have highlighted on this program about the three types of people and the three types of people.
There are only three types of people in this particular categorization and what a society does to either elevate and protect those three types of people or really silence them.
There are infants.
Infants, the type of people that this former mayor of College Park, unfortunately, was exploiting.
There are the protectors of infants.
That's all of us that believe that this is wrong and these people need to be put in prison and maybe even more than that.
And then there are predators.
So human history shows us that you will always have infants and you will always have predators.
There is no guarantee that you will have the protectors of infants.
That's the question.
The question is: do you have people that are neither infant nor predator, but they're in the middle?
They're the normal, regular people.
Do they have the courage?
Do they have the conviction?
Do they have the clarity of moral thought to do the right thing?
And, you know, this particular mayor who has now been arrested was an up-and-coming, you know, star in the gay Democrat mayor community.
In 2019, a picture of him with Pete Budigej saying, just two mayors grabbing a beer together.
Now, without getting into the graphic details of the indictment, which I do not encourage you to read, I had to stop reading it.
I X'd out.
It was so disgusting.
I don't even want to talk about some of the details of it.
Without going too deep into it, though, the alleged indictment shows that this was not some one-off thing.
This was a sophisticated, multi-device effort that was being run in a clandestine fashion by this sicko, the gay Democrat Patrick Wozen.
And so there's a theme here.
And all of us, obviously, everybody, everybody who hears this immediately says, okay, that's wrong.
But let me ask a pointed question.
What if I told you that there are other forms of child exploitation that are happening under the guise of gender-affirming clinics?
So this story gets everybody upset, and it should.
Okay, even Democrats, they're not defending it, nor should they.
And it's so outside of the pale.
But they will defend this.
In 2017, there's a picture of how many pediatric gender clinics there were in 2007.
I'm sorry, 2007, not 2017.
In 2007, there were two.
There was one in Virginia, and there was one, it looks like, in Boston.
You look at the picture now in 2022.
Look at how many pediatric gender clinics there are in America today.
Looks at least well over 100, easily well over 100, from all across the country.
One in Montana, one in Idaho, all over California, all over Florida, all over Texas.
What happened?
In 15 years, we went from a place where there were only two places in America to get your breasts chopped off, to get hysterectomies, to get Lupron administered, or to get other incredibly aggressive chemical castration drugs and castration methods administered to you, procedures, thank you.
And now it's widespread and it's everywhere.
Part of it is the social media contagion that continues via TikTok and other means.
Part of it is a money grab, as we learned as Vanderbilt, Vanderbilt came out and they said that there's an actual monetary incentive to do this.
And that's because of the great exposure work of Matt Walsh, who deserves just infinite amounts of credit.
And now, remember, you need these treatments for life.
So once you cut off a girl's breasts at age 11, which is happening far too often, I don't know the exact numbers.
It's at least in the thousands, but we can get the exact numbers.
Are now a pharmaceutical annuity patient for life because you're not anymore what your DNA or your biology dictates.
So you have to keep on intervening with drugs and then you have to intervene with antidepressants and then you have to intervene with other medication because you might gain weight because you're and it starts these cascade of pharmaceutical interventions.
And so while this story, Democrat mayor arrested, is disgusting and awful.
Child exploitation, who would do such a thing?
We have to ask ourselves the question: are we allowing other forms of child exploitation to happen in our state and in our community?
It's a 15,000% increase in gender-affirming clinical care.
Went from two clinics to now well over 300 across the country.
This is for minors, everybody.
This is pediatric gender clinics, pediatric gender clinics.
The total medical bill for gender surgery per year in the United States comes to just over 1.3 billion.
The pharmaceutical bills, though, are in the tens of billions, and they see this as one of the growth opportunities.
The pharmaceutical companies are basically telling their shareholders that one of the ways that they are going to be able to grow as a company is to exploit children.
Strong Cell Anti-Aging Enzyme00:02:43
I'll never forget when I got in a debate with a left-wing Marxist, and they told me 10 years ago, and I thought they were wrong, eight years ago.
They said, Charlie, what happens when companies start to go after children just for profit?
And I said, ah, the market would correct it.
No, that left-winger actually had a point.
Will the market correct this?
No, no, the market is driving this.
Okay, Kirk fans, I need you to stop and pay attention to this.
I have never experienced anything quite like the new Strong Cell product.
I take it right before every single show.
It's so easy.
And you've got to read up on everything that has been packed into these tiny bottles.
You see, Strong Cell is a new scientific cocktail of cellular level replenishment.

NAD, go look it up online.
Go do five minutes of research on NAD.
It is a miracle coenzyme.
Some people call it the anti-aging enzyme.
It can help with depression.
It can help with anxiety.
It can help with mental acuity, with memory.
And Strong Cell also puts CoQ10 and wild-caught marine collagen.
Again, I take it every day, and the difference I feel is undeniable.
By taking just one small bottle of Strong Cell liquid every day, you can experience an energy boost within the first week and even more benefits within the first 15 days.

Okay, I want to play this piece of tape here from a school board member in Arizona.
Do we know what school board it is?
I want to get that.
Her name is quite something.
Her name is Tamilia Valenzuela.
It's quite a name, I got to tell you.
So Tamilia Valenzauela is on the governing board of the Washington Elementary School District, and she has some very strong opinions.
And so the Washington Elementary School District is right in Northwest Phoenix, right near Glendale and right near Peoria.
This is an extraordinary piece of tape.
She first describes herself as bilingual, disabled.
All right, this is a new one.
I got to be honest.
I am pretty up to date on all the new labels of the left.
Neurodivergent?
Anybody?
That's a new one.
She's a neurodivergent, queer black Latina.
Oh, is that another way of saying she has ADHD or Autistic?
I've never heard that word used in that way.
Okay.
Well, I wish the best for her.
So she's bilingual, disabled, neurodivergent, queer black Latina.
That's her title, right?
Oppression Olympics.
Look at me.
Look at my medals.
Look at all these different things I have.
And there's other labels too that I think I might give her after the tape.
So effectively, the Washington Elementary School District in Phoenix, which serves students in Phoenix and Glendale areas, had an ongoing contract with Arizona Christian University, ACU, great school, for five years, enabling their students, their student teachers, to be placed in its schools for field experience.
The contract opened up opportunities for recruitment and hiring.
On February 23rd, the board agreed on a motion to dissolve the partnership with the Christian University.
They did not immediately respond to a question, request for comment on whether they have a bias against Christian beliefs.
But listen to her.
Again, this is Tamilia Valenzauela, who is the bilingual, disabled, neurodivergent, queer black Latina who is serving on your school board in suburban Phoenix.
Play cut 114.
Oh, by the way, she wears cat ears.
Play cut 114.
Part of their values is influence, engage, and transform the culture with truth by promoting the biblically informed values that are foundational to Western civilization.
I want to know how bringing people from an institution that is ingrained in their values that will very directly impact three of your board members who are a part of the LGBTQ community.
Are we only performing performative solidarity or are we going to dig deep and actually look at the partnerships that we're doing?
It's so interesting.
So here's this school board member who is doing everything they possibly can to say, hey, the biblical values of Arizona Christian University are a threat to the students of this local school district.
By all other measures, this partnership was working.
The board agreed to a motion to dissolve the partnership with the Christian University.
They did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
And by the way, the buried lead of this is that 60% of this school board is LGBT, is gay.
The question is: do Christians run for school boards as much as the LGBT community does?
No, as I said yesterday, which is groomers can't reproduce, so instead they recruit.
So they go serve on school boards and they go do drag queens and they do all this other sort of disgusting, nauseating stuff.
The people of Phoenix shouldn't put up with this.
But I'll be honest, it's more important to go run for your local school board than it is just to show up for another political rally.
And trust me, I'm all for political rallies.
I think they're important.
There's a place for them.
But this is really where students' lives are transformed.
Government Intelligence Secrets00:15:46
I want to tell you guys about COVID tax relief.
COVID Tax Relief is an amazing service that exists for you because of Washington, D.C.'s addiction to overspending.
Again, I'm not a fan that this money exists or that's out there or that it's available, but as they say, it is what it is.
Look, COVIDTaxRelief.org got a small retail business, almost $80,000.
COVIDTaxRelief.org got a manufacturing business, nearly $250,000.
COVIDTaxRelief.org got a large distribution business, almost $900,000.
If you run a business, church or nonprofit, and paid your employees through all or part of the pandemic, you could qualify for up to $26,000 per employee through the Government Cares Act.
COVIDTaxRelief.org receives a low commission, very reasonable, only after you receive the money.
So go to covidtaxrelief.org.
That is covidtaxrelief.org, covidtaxrelief.org.
Check it out right now, covidtaxrelief.org.
Senator Josh Hawley is with us.
There are so many different stories to cover.
Senator, welcome back to the program and thank you again for taking the time.
I want to play cut 117 and then I'll let you riff so the audience can see you in action.
Let's play cut 117, please.
So give me an answer.
The FBI does not agree with your description.
I'm not asking about the FBI.
You are the Attorney General.
Give me your answer.
Do you think that it was objectively reasonable and they followed your guidelines in sending 20 to 30 armed agents to terrorize these people?
Yes or no?
The facts I have, which are those presented by the FBI, are not consistent with your description.
We're supposed to hate long guns and assault-style weapons.
You're happy to deploy them against Catholics and innocent children.
Happy to.
And then you haul them into court and a jury acquits him in one hour.
I just suggest to you that that is a disgraceful performance by your Justice Department and a disgraceful use of resources.
Amen.
Senator Hawley, expand on that.
Well, listen, Charlie, I mean, here's the thing.
In Merrick Garland's Justice Department and in Joe Biden's America, if you want to execute somebody in the streets of this country gang style, they don't do anything.
If you want to smuggle fentanyl across the border and engage in human trafficking, they turn a blind eye.
But if you go to church or if you consider yourself a traditional Christian or a traditional Catholic or what have you, then they think that you're a terrorist and they treat you like one.
This Justice Department sent 30 SWAT agents, FBI agents, to the home of this pro-life demonstrator, a law-abiding citizen in the early morning hours to do what?
To terrorize him.
He was acquitted later by a jury of his peers in less than an hour.
That shows you the priorities of this Justice Department.
It's wrong and it needs to be exposed.
Yeah, and exposing it is so important.
And I'm sure that your staff and you are working behind the scenes to try to get more information from this DOJ.
But, you know, Senator, at least the impression I'm getting is a smugness from Merrick Garland.
No admission of taking responsibility or I don't want to say a mission of guilt, but a mission of wrongdoing or overreach.
And his answer is such a non-answer.
I don't agree with your description.
These are the facts of the facts, Senator.
They came in hard.
They came in with long guns.
And so, I mean, Senator, I'm just confused.
You know, what is it going to take for the fourth branch of government, Merrick Garland in particular, to stop this criminalization of, yes, Christians, of Catholics, of people of faith, and then not enforcing the law for the others, which I think is really important.
It's almost anarcho-tyranny, isn't it?
Yeah, it really is.
And I tell you what it will take, Charlie, will take exposure.
It will take the constant bringing of these facts into the light, which is why whenever Merrick Garland comes up on Capitol Hill, he needs to get the truth shoved into his face.
What these guys try to do is to try to hide it.
And they use the corporate media, of course, to help them, which is what you do every day exposing this.
We need exposure.
We need to say, these are the facts.
Set it out before the American people because they try to lie about it, dissemble about it.
Give you another example.
The FBI wrote a memo this year, just a few weeks ago, saying that they really ought to recruit informants, spies, in what they call traditional Catholic parishes.
Now, I have no idea what they mean by that, but those are their words.
I suspect that this means conservative.
They want to recruit spies.
Why?
Because they say, well, these people, they're right-wingers.
They could end up being domestic terrorists.
This is what is going on.
Garland tried to run away from that as quick as he could when I brought it up.
You got to drag this into the light and expose these people and show what they're doing.
And when you do that, just like Garland, he had no answer.
He couldn't answer the facts because there is no defense for what they're doing.
So, Senator, you recently had your bill pass unanimously, which it was surprising to me.
You're going to have to explain that to me because I can't imagine Democrats are excited or in full agreement to do this.
So I was a part of another bill, but the bill was to declassify all U.S. intelligence on the origins of COVID-19.
Tell us about that.
Well, listen, it's never been more important.
The truth is the American people deserve to know what their government has found about the origins of COVID-19.
And Charlie, what the government has known for years, let's not forget that it was two short years ago or less that if you said, oh, I think COVID has a link to a lab, I think COVID is a lab leak.
You got deplatformed.
You got shunned.
You got silenced.
The White House had a hit list of people they wanted kicked off social media, including those who said that there might be a lab leak.
Dr. Fauci, of course, was dismissing anyone who said these things.
And then it turns out our own governments, intelligence agencies, say, oh, yeah, no, we actually think there is a lab leak.
The American people deserve to know what the government knows, declassify it.
That's what my bill would do.
And I tell you, Charlie, we just put it.
I went down to the floor and I said, I am going to demand a vote on this bill.
And not a single Democrat wanted to stand up and say no because they can't say no.
How do you say no to that?
And so it passed the Senate unanimously.
It will go to the House this coming week.
And I've got every confidence the House will pass this bill this coming week and we'll send it to the president's desk.
Now, is there any way the intelligence agencies are able to work around this?
I mean, so by declassifying, does that mean that it will be available to senators or will it be public?
Can you just walk through some of the details of that?
You bet.
Yeah.
No, the idea is to make it public.
Let the Americans see.
You know, the only thing they can do is they can, of course, protect their sources.
I mean, so you don't have to name which agent or which method we collected the info from.
But frankly, nobody cares about that.
What we care about is which agencies, FBI, Department of Energy, who.
What do they assess?
What do they say are the origins?
Put the facts out there because you've had these government employees like Dr. Fauci who have been saying for years, no way, no lab connection.
You say that, you're a conspiracy theorist.
You're a threat if you say that.
And as it turns out, we now know from the FBI director, no less, that the FBI has long thought that it was a lab leak.
So let's just let the American people see the truth.
And also, we want to know EcoHealth Alliance's potential involvement, Anthony Fauci's potential involvement.
And, you know, it's interesting, Senator.
I lost access to my social media and many other people did, even suggesting that this virus came from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
And we now know that.
I mean, it's all but a fact.
And even the Department of Energy's press release was just so ridiculous.
They said we have a low degree of certainty that it's true.
I mean, it's just such government doublespeak, right?
It's bureaucrat covering for themselves.
And so I now want to ask Senator about Ukraine and the situation there.
Seems as if the United States continues to funnel billions and billions of dollars.
Let me ask you, Senator, do we know how much money we have actually sent there or do we just have a range?
Oh, I think it's a range.
I don't know what the dollar figure is.
And here's the thing I noticed, Charlie.
I thought it was like 30 seconds ago that Janet Yellen was saying stuff like, oh, I have to take extraordinary measures or the United States is going to default on its debt.
And yet, she appears to have plenty of time and money to go over to Ukraine and literally hand them checks from the U.S. Treasury.
I mean, that's pretty extraordinary if you ask me.
Not East Palestine.
Unbelievable.
But to Kyiv.
Yeah.
Ukraine.
Exactly.
Exactly.
Which is why I say, number one, not a penny more to Ukraine.
Number two, we needed accounting for every penny that has been spent.
The American people deserve to know every single cent that has been spent.
So I've introduced legislation that would set up a special watchdog just for Ukraine.
Don't divide it up among 20 agencies who then all point fingers at each other and say, oh, we don't know.
Give it to one person, one office.
All they do is track the Ukraine money and then report back to the public.
The American people deserve to know.
And I'll just say, Charlie, I'd love to hear the explanation as to why that shouldn't happen.
Who's going to say, no, we don't want to know how we're spending our money?
I mean, I could imagine some of the counterarguments.
Now, Senator, there has been some troubling reporting recently.
Again, it's not 100%, but the media does not seem very interested in trying to find out who actually bombed this pipeline.
Senator, is there anything you could share with our audience?
I know that you're immensely curious because if we did end up doing that, that's basically an act of war.
Well, I saw the reports on this, Charlie, and I have to say I am immensely curious, but I have to tell you, I've gotten zero answers, zero briefing.
I'm not privy to any intelligence that is not already in public.
I imagine there probably are members of Congress who sit on, for instance, the intelligence committee who are privy to things I may not be.
But here's what really strikes me is there appears to be zero interest in this on Capitol Hill.
I mean, I have some reports came out.
So can you just walk our audience through, Senator, how your colleagues don't care?
I mean, if we didn't do it, then, okay, it actually makes Russia look really bad.
Okay.
So it actually would strengthen the neoconservative argument, like, wow, Russia does, you know, bombs their own.
So they would want the truth.
But if we did it, this is not just unconstitutional.
This is one of the most reckless potential acts against a nuclear armed power.
I mean, and Congress is not even notified.
I just, and your colleagues just roll their eyes, I guess.
You know, when I've asked my colleagues who, for instance, sit on the Intelligence Committee, I've said, we didn't, you know, we didn't bomb Nord Stream 2, did we?
I mean, did we do that?
You know, oh, they just, you know, oh, Josh, that's, you know, this, don't pay any attention to that.
It goes back to Charlie, why we need to declassify intelligence.
What I've found in my short time in the Senate is these agencies and these bureaucrats, they use the intelligence tags and the intelligence shield to keep a barrier up between them and everybody else, members of Congress, but especially the public, also including the press.
And so they can do what they want to do without any accountability.
So whether we're talking about COVID or something else, my view is we need to make more of this stuff public.
We need to press for answers.
We need to let the American people see.
So frankly, these days, my view is until I know for myself, until I can actually see the reports myself, I don't trust anybody.
You know, no offense to any of the government bureaucrats out there, but I don't really trust your word.
I actually want to see the facts for myself.
Yeah, and we know that the German government, they're really upset about the Nord Stream situation.
And if it was America, there should be bipartisan outrage that a president of the United States can basically do an act of war.
And it's not an exaggeration to say that.
You bomb a critical pipeline piece of infrastructure.
That's an act of war and just kind of shrug our shoulders.
What's on your immediate legislative radar that you want our audience to be made aware of?
Action items, things that they should be focused on, debt ceiling.
What do you have for our audience?
Well, I think this next week, the priority has got to be getting the COVID origins intelligence declassified.
We've got to get that through the House.
This is the coming week to do it.
It's urgent.
We need to send that to the president's desk.
And I've got great faith in Steve Scalise and Kevin McCarthy.
So that's certainly going to be pushing for that.
I also think, Charlie, in terms of China, it's time for us to withdraw the most favored nation status that we hate China.
Why do we give China special trade status?
I'm going to introduce legislation that will end their most favored nation status.
They've taken our industry.
They've taken our jobs, our technology, and we have stood by and watched it happen.
This is a wake-up call, what we're going through right now.
It is time to strengthen America.
Quit strengthening China.
And this is the time to do it.
I enthusiastically support that.
Senator, thank you for your courage and your clarity.
You're welcome back anytime.
Thank you so much.
Thanks for having me.

I want to touch on this just in the few minutes we have remaining here on a fascinating speech that Eric Adams gave, who's been a failure as mayor of New York City.
He's been awful.
But he said something that was totally right and totally true.
And it makes you wonder how many Democrats actually share our values and that when they are given a chance to be candid and not being scripted or just pushing policy from the special interest groups, that this country actually might be far more conservative than people would ever realize.
Yes, Eric Adams is a crummy mayor.
The people behind him are terrible, the special interests, but is the body politic of America actually conservative?
I think yes.
Listen to this: Eric Adams talking off the cuff, no script, play cut 76.
We are destroying our next generation, destroying them.
And we say over and over again, we need to build a world that's better for our children.
No, we need to build children that's better for our world.
And we have to be honest about that.
And it means instilling in them some level of faith and belief.
Ingrid was so right.
Building Better Children00:02:22
Don't tell me about no separation of church and state.
State is the body.
Church is the heart.
You take the heart out of the body, the body dies.
The media went after him like crazy saying that Eric Adams went on some wild rant.
Eric Adams is still a poor mayor, but if Eric Adams started acting on these beliefs, New York City would be a much better place.
It goes to show that maybe some of these Democrats actually share our values a lot more than we might realize.
And Eric Adams hit on something that is incredibly deep, by the way, philosophically true, which is he says, stop saying we need to make a better world, but we need to make better children.
Whoa, that's a conservative argument.
The left-wing argument is we must get rid of racism and get rid of capitalism, get rid of private property, and get rid of the Constitution, get rid of the United States, and then people will be made better.
He said, no, no, no, we must make better people and they will then improve the world.
That is correct.
The challenge in front of every society is: how do you create good people?
The left is not interested in that question.
They say, how do we get rid of all these things that we hate?
That's why they want to turn kids into environmental activists, into race activists.
Here's Eric Adams continuing.
Play cut 56.
If we are bringing our best fight in the ring, we would not have homeless in this city.
We would not have a crisis of domestic violence.
We would not have children because when we took prayers out of schools, guns came into schools.
Boy, is that right.
I got to be honest.
How many Republicans have the courage to say that taking prayer out of schools was a mistake?
It was a mistake, by the way.
The prayer was a very innocent prayer.
It was an ecumenical prayer.
It wasn't even a Christian one.
Eric Adams is an awful mayor.
But maybe that can change if he actually started acting on his beliefs.
