Following a bizarre, newly released documentary clip of Nancy Pelosi saying she wanted to “punch Trump out,” Charlie dives into more news surrounding the J6 Committee, including news the committee plans on issuing a subpoena to President Trump a month before midterms. Charlie unravels the narratives the Left has tried to spin regarding J6, and he also covers another strange story of art vandalism in the name of eco terrorism.Support the show: http://www.charliekirk.com/supportSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

As we mentioned yesterday, I could feel it in my bones.
I could see it in real time.
There is a cataclysmic shift happening.
And the question is, is it really a shift or is it now only beginning to surface?
I think it's a mixture of both.
Democrats are collapsing.
Republicans are ascending.
The base is consolidating.
Enthusiasm and energy is building.
Our candidates are more focused on the message.
Democrats in their electoral spending strategy have gone all in on one issue, abortion, which does matter to some voters and can be a wedge issue in some communities, but is becoming less and less so as the economy craters, as inflation increases, as people get poor, the harder they work.
And that's usually a troubling sign, isn't it?
If you get poor the more you work, you're probably standing on some very shaky and fragile ground.
You look at all the different things that the Democrats have tried over the last couple of months.
And this is why this program matters so much.
This is why you matter so much.
And thank you for supporting us.
Thank you for backing us.
COVID and the entire rancor around that, that didn't work.
The, let's just say, over-the-top reaction to monkeypox, that didn't work.
Getting everyone on board to go send weapons and arms to Ukraine, that didn't work.
Roe versus Wade, that isn't working.
Forgiving student loans via a massive taxpayer bribe didn't work.
And we're seeing it now in the generic ballot.
Rasmussen Reports has come out and they say that Republicans lead in the generic ballot by seven points.
That could end up being 10 points or 12 points.
And we've seen it on this program.
Things have been happening gradually.
Then suddenly independents, people in suburban communities are going to be coming in great numbers and massive direction, defecting against the Democrat Party.
We're seeing it all across the board.
And here's the thing.
If you are the, let's pretend you are a Democrat consultant for a second.
Let's pretend you're a Democrat consultant and you have a bucket of money to deploy.
At some point, you've got to be honest with yourself.
At some point, if you are a Democrat consultant, you have to realize that you have a diminishing rate of return.
Election Day cannot come soon enough for Democrats.
For Republicans, we want to stretch out these next couple of weeks because the polling is showing us every day is an eternity in politics right now.
Democrats are trying to accelerate this.
They're like, we can't get this over quick enough.
Now, a good rule in politics is the people that want Election Day to come sooner usually lose.
That's not always true.
Sometimes candidates get late hot.
Sometimes things change.
But Democrats right now are freaking out that the trajectory and the current momentum is totally disfavorable to them.
And we see this at every single corner and every turn.
And now the Democrats have a new strategy.
The New York Times, which I read so you don't have to, right here, the front page of the New York Times, which by the way, the New York Times, I don't like racializing things.
I don't.
I can't stand racial identity, tribal politics.
But what percentage of readers of the New York Times are upper-middle-class white liberals?
I would venture a guess at least 80 to 90%.
80 to 90.
I almost guarantee you the core reliable demographic of the people that read this garbage are upper middle class college educated liberals.
Yes, I read the New York Times.
I'm super smart.
Wrapping up case, January 6th panel plans a Trump subpoena.
This is what they now have.
They have failed at every single turn.
Now in the month of October, halfway through the month of October, where we are just days away from one of the most consequential midterm elections of our lifetime, their way of now having their big October surprise is to subpoena Donald Trump for what exactly?
Play cut 96, please.
I am offering this resolution that the committee direct the chairman to issue a subpoena for relevant documents and testimony under oath from Donald John Trump in connection with the January 6th attack on the United States Capitol.
That's Liz Cheney making the announcement that now the January 6th committee is going to use their resources, their taxpayer-funded resources, to go subpoena Donald Trump.
In the list of priorities for voters, what do you think, where do you think January 6th ends up for battleground voters in Arizona, Georgia, and Pennsylvania?
They have nothing else.
They can't run on a record.
They can't run on governing.
They can't run on anything.
It is the total collapse of the Democrat Party.
And instead of trying to moderate their views, instead of trying to find some sort of messaging adjustment, it's, hey, let's go after the head of the snake.
And I believe this is only going to boost Democrat turnout.
And I'd love your thoughts, freedom, atcharlykirk.com.
The messages we've been receiving, the consensus I am seeing is that the more that they do this nonsense, the raiding of Mar-a-Lago, the arresting of Steve Bannon, the arresting of Peter Navarro, the arresting of Hauk and Vaughn, the two pro-life leaders, it only inspires us to go knock on more doors.
It only encourages us to go get more friends to go vote.
I think this is a Republican turnout operation, not a Democrat turnout operation.
This only gets more people to say this is the opposite of what government should be.
I think Liz Cheney calling for a subpoena is only going to rile us up even more to go vote to displace these people from power.
And January 6th is now the primary concern of the regime halfway through October.
And the recent polls are showing a collapse.
The Democrat Party is falling apart in front of our very eyes.
And again, it is not enough to win.
What does success look like?
A complete and total annihilation and extinction event of the modern woke Democrat Party.
We want to start a Democrat civil war.
We want to see them fight amongst themselves.
We want to see them go into bedlam.
We want to see them go into disagreement.
The same sort of energy that AOC experienced at her town hall where she was shouted down.
We want to see honest Democrats or formerly honest Democrats like Tulsi Gabbard hopefully have some role in the Democrat Party.
In fact, you're never going to totally get rid of Democrats, so at least the Democrats that exist, I hope, or love the country.
I think Tulsi Gabbard does.
And all across the board, we are seeing from poll after poll, Pennsylvania within the margin of error, Ron Johnson up big time in Wisconsin, JD Vance up in Ohio, Ted Budd up in North Carolina, Ron DeSantis up 10 points in Florida.
Now, I'm not saying we should be cocky.
I'm very worried about mail-in ballots and all this, but I'm telling you, we are going to overwhelm the system, but it's not enough.
We have got to have the shoulder to the wheel, full court press, 10 out of 10.
Because I'm telling you right now, the Democrats, they know they're on defense and they are scrambling.
The Democrat Party is now engaging in a recalibration.
They're running out of money quickly.
And by the way, the latest poll by Fox 10 here in Arizona, Carrie Lake up three points.
The latest poll for the Oregon governor's race, Drazen up six points.
I mean, you're starting to see a massive realignment here, and it's happening so quickly.
The Democrats, you see, their strategy was go raise all of this money.
Go raise all this money over the summer and spend it quickly.
And now their coffers are getting dry.
And Republicans kept their powder dry until they could see the white in the eyes, metaphorically, of course.
And now Republicans are outspending Democrats in some of these states, and it's going to happen very quickly.
Right now, Bank of America has just lowered its 2022 forecast for the S ⁇ P 500 by a whopping 900 points to 3,600.
Saying we're headed for a recession this year, it said the new year target is the lowest on the street.
This is not good news for those of you stuck in equities or anything tied to stock markets.

Okay, I want to go through this story here.
House Democrats retrench as GOP money floods the map.
Henancy Pelosi is in complete and total panic right now, and she should be.
She is on defense and they are running out of time.
They're running out of time in many different ways because we are 25 days out, and Nancy Pelosi is starting to do what any sort of losing general in a war has to do: retreat and protect the assets you can't lose.
Politico.com, House Democrats retrench as GOP money floods the map.
The party isn't airing ads in six of the 14 GOP districts Joe Biden carried in 2020 as it directs money to help incumbents under threat.
And it goes through and talks about some of these races.
Meanwhile, House Republican super PAC crosses $200 million in midterm spending.
I feel a lot better about the House than I do about the Senate.
The Senate, I'm feeling better and better about, but the House is looking great.
And these House races are, you know, one step forward, two step back.
It's very much trench warfare.
And we are now starting to see the entire map expand when it comes to these House races.
And the Driple C is pulling out of critical races in Arizona, in Georgia, in Texas.
They don't have the money.
It is a shrinking target list.
Democrats have known their campaign chief, Representative Sean Patrick Maloney, would be forced to make different decisions, difficult decisions, I'm sorry, to prioritize some races over others.
Meaningful party spending has not begun and is unlikely to start in Tom O'Halloran's district in Arizona.
And other three open Democrat held districts in Wisconsin, Michigan, and South Texas are trending away from the party.
But some lawmakers and strategists say they're still worried about not being able to spend on offense.
For instance, Democrats are spending on TV to aid roughly half of the three dozen candidates the DCC designated as party's most formidable challenges.
And the lack of investment to target Republicans in Biden won seats is particularly noticeable.
Representative Tony Cardenas in California, who joined Alex Padilla, Senator Alex Padilla from California at a campaign event, said he was optimistic she would win, but acknowledged the deluge of Republican cash.
It's happening all across the country.
It is completely flipped.
The 2022 congressional generic ballot is trending up 3% since the end of September.
And you're starting to see it at every single front.
So you see it at realclearpolitics.com, the moving average in Wisconsin, in Nevada, in North Carolina, in Ohio, all coming in our direction.
And you should ask the question why.
Well, what is the Democrats' response to this?
You know, the Democrats are now going to subpoena Donald Trump for that spectacle.
And kind of inexplicably, there's this new footage that shows Nancy Pelosi, who had a documentary team with her on January 6th.
Political Violence Across Country00:03:01
Why?
Why would Nancy Pelosi embed a documentary team filmed by Alexandra Pelosi, her daughter, who's a documentary filmmaker, during January 6th?
That's really bizarre.
Did she know something was going to happen that day?
So she refuses the National Guard troops.
We know about Ray Epps, or at least I think we know a little about Ray Epps.
And so let's play some tape here.
This is the one, okay, this is cut 88.
It's very bizarre.
Nancy Pelosi on January 6th talking about, I hope Trump comes.
I'm going to punch him out.
This is my moment.
I've been waiting for this for trespassing on the Capitol grounds.
I'm going to punch him out.
I'm going to go to jail and I'm going to be happy.
That sounds like political violence, doesn't it?
Could you imagine if there was a piece of tape of Donald Trump saying, I'm going to punch Nancy Pelosi out, which is the party of political violence now, which is the party of domestic violent extremism?
Play cut 88.
They're waiting for this.
For trespassing on the catalog.
I'm going to punch him out.
I'm going to go to jail, girl.
This is my moment.
You've been waiting for the moment to put Donald Trump in jail.
By the way, why is this footage just coming out now?
It's very strange.
Do they think this makes her look good?
Does it inspire the Democrat base?
Remember what Eric Holder said?
When they go low, we kick them.
And yet they say we are the party of domestic violent extremists.
I have zero patience for that.
Just go to a turning point USA campus event and tell me who are the ones that are engaged in dialogue and discussion and who are the ones that are trying to use force to shut the other side up.
It's always the left.
Always.
You want to talk about the great lie?
The great lie is this idea that the right is somehow domestic violent extremists.

Okay, I want to get to a story here that shouldn't be political at all, but it really bothered me when I saw it.
And it's going completely and totally, it's viral in every capacity imaginable.
Tomato Soup Metaphor Explained00:08:58
So there is a very beautiful painting by Vincent Van Gogh, his sunflowers painting, that many of you are familiar with.
Vincent Van Gogh, an unbelievably talented artist, was an unbelievably talented artist.
He believed that art, or more generally, work, like religion, was a way to have communion with God.
He was not a postmodernist.
He was somebody that, in some way, shape, or form, tried to glorify God with his work.
I'm not an expert on Van Gogh by any means whatsoever, nor am I an expert in art in the 1800s.
But his stuff is beautiful and it's well respected, and it's an important part of the Western tradition and definitely worthy of respect.
And here's kind of my approach when it comes to art that was created before the 1900s.
If I don't initially understand it, or if it doesn't move me at the first viewing or glance, then I'm probably missing something.
Now, I think that's completely different with postmodern garbage, post-1920s, where if somebody trashed a postmodern piece of art, most people would not even realize it's vandalism.
For example, the signed urinal of the trickster, what was that guy's name that did that?
It always escapes me.
Something in the 1920s, where it's kind of the beginning of postmodern art, where it's my truth, and this is beautiful.
And then you get the, yeah, Duchamp.
Thank you.
You get the crucifix in urine.
I mean, postmodern art is not art.
It's trash.
It's garbage.
And so, but before that, Van Gogh, again, I'm not someone who spends a lot of time dwelling on it, but it's beautiful.
It's part of the Western tradition.
It's something that is worthy of appreciation and study.
What was he trying to communicate through art?
Art touches the soul, whether it be paintings or poetry or Handel's Messiah or Beethoven's Fifth.
And so, anyway, with all that kind of as a pretext, this goes to show exactly who the left is.
It's one of the most accurate pictures I have ever seen of what happens when you send your kid to university, of the lack of gratitude, the lack of appreciation.
And I saw this firsthand when I went to UT Austin a couple of days ago.
They say there's no truth, there's no beauty.
The West is systemically racist and colonialist.
And so today, this story came out.
The way the media is covering this story is so ridiculously reckless and irresponsible.
Climate protesters throw soup on Van Gogh's sunflowers painting.
Two activists who I think are young ladies, but I don't want to assume their gender threw tomato soup on the sunflowers painting of Vincent Van Gogh.
And then they give some explanation as to why.
This is in a museum.
I want to play the tape of this.
What cut is that we have here?
Yes, thank you.
Let's play cut 87.
What is worth more?
Art or life?
Is it worth more than food?
Worth more than justice?
Are you more concerned about the protection of a painting or the protection of our planet and people?
The cost of living crisis is part of the cost of oil crisis.
Fuel is unaffordable to millions of cold, hungry families.
They can't even afford to heat a tin of soup.
This is what happens when you elevate complete buffoons like Greta Thunberg.
You get all sorts of invite, you get this civilizational terrorism like this.
And yes, that's what I'm going to call it.
You go after a beautiful piece of work like Vincent Van Gogh's sunflowers that is adored by millions of people and his work and his canon, and you throw tomato soup at that.
And I'll just show the tape here.
We got it?
Okay, this is them throwing tomato soup.
They might as well throw tomato soup at the entire West.
And by the way, that's what they believe.
Play cut 101.
That should make you sick.
Again, I'm going to say that again.
That's an act of civilizational terrorism.
It is.
You go after the treasured pieces of art that communicate beauty, at least the attempt to get into alignment with objective reality and beauty.
For what?
You say, what's more important?
Art or life?
Of course, life is more important than art.
The heck does that have to do with going in and throwing tomato soup?
Art communicates the need for a beautiful life.
This is the woke mind virus, and they're going to be elevated as heroes by many people.
And it's just, you really look at what happens right now in the West and what is happening in the West.
Why?
They don't believe in any sort of objective standards.
And I got to be honest, I think this is going to backfire amongst a lot of different people.
I can't imagine an independent voter in America, an independent-minded person that has some sort of reverence for Vincent Van Gogh, is going to wake up and see this and say, oh, yeah, you know, you go, climate activists, go destroy some of the great work of the West.
And why are they doing this?
Because it was an oil painting.
And that really goes to show the levels of protest.
And it's not protest, as I said before.
It's civilizational arson, is what it is, that the left is willing to go to do.
That is the level they are willing to engage in.
And by the way, they're probably already out without bail because of our criminal justice thing.
Now, this happened in the United Kingdom, obviously.
It's at the National Gallery of London.
But let's just be very clear.
Beauty repulses them.
They must make the world as ugly as they are, both outside and inside.
They don't believe that beauty is an objective thing worth wondering.
That's the first line of Aristotle's metaphysics.
Our team can pull it up.
All men yearn to wonder.
I'm paraphrasing, of course.
But there's something in us that is beyond explanation at times.
I believe it's a soul that wonders at beauty.
What is beauty?
That which is perfected in being.
That's right.
Yes, that's right.
The first line of Aristotle's metaphysics.
All men by nature desire to know.
That's right.
All men.
Do you think that these young ladies that do this and they throw tomato soup on that, do you think that that is their desiring to know?
Now, some of you might say, Charlie, why are you spending so much time on this?
This is a metaphor for what the left will do when they get power.
Anything that is beautiful, they will destroy.
Anything.
As Dennis Prager beautifully puts it, the left destroys everything it touches, from professional sports to classical music to the college to the American family.
They have not built a thing.
The left builds nothing.
They are a parasitic group of locusts that have done unbelievable damage to the American West.
From architecture to anything that glorifies the divine, they must destroy it.
And of course, the left hates God, so there's no surprise that they hate art and beauty.
That should just make you sick.
And the media is saying, oh, yeah, you know, climate change is more important than art.
That's not even the point here.
The point is you're going to go destroy somebody's contribution to the West contribution to the ability to express oneself in a very beautiful way, might I add?
And then, you know, it's so funny.
She says, well, fuel is unaffordable.
And her shirt says, just say no to oil.
Oh, really?
Which one is it?
Do you want to be able to have people that have energy or not?
You see, it's always the left's impulse to destroy.
The left is humiliated by the greatness of what came before them.
The left can't ever admit that something that is worthy of appreciation existed before them.
These are narcissists, these two young ladies, I think they're women, that throw tomato soup on that.
And isn't that just a depicture and a metaphor of what they're trying to do to our entire civilization?
Magnesium Breakthrough Supplement00:02:43
I'm the most important person.
And by the way, it's a very reasonable question.
Why are you saying no to oil?
And the ironic part is when you look about, when you think about it, that if you actually had natural gas and you had access to clean and cheap energy, then people would be able to afford more things.
It's your green energy environmentalist agenda that's hurting people.
That's too reasonable for them.
So this is going completely viral and it should.
It should really repulse people.
And we've entered into this moment where they go after the most beautiful things.
If you don't want to accidentally take a laxative and have the worst day of your life, listen carefully.
If you're currently taking a magnesium supplement, chances are you're literally flushing it down the toilet.
Look, I've been taking magnesium for a while, and I used to make this mistake.
And let's just say, if you don't take the right magnesium, yeah, you're going to have some problems.
And so, look, the most common type of magnesium is actually used as a laxative.
So, if you're taking it, you're just, let's just say, not getting your money's worth.
Look, you need magnesium.
Your body needs it for muscle recovery.
Helps you relax.
I take magnesium every single night before bed, and you should too.
I know maybe some of you guys are on sleep medication, all that.
Okay, putting that aside, have you tried magnesium?
Some of you are probably like, I can't fall asleep.
Try magnesium.
It's all, here's what I love about magnesium: your body needs it.
Your body just totally uses it for all sorts of different types of production.
It's critical and it helps you sleep.
Look, if you're taking the wrong type of magnesium, well, then your metabolism suffers, you can't lose weight, your blood pressure goes up, and a whole lot more.
Your metabolic rate is directly correlated at times to your magnesium.
So, what's a solution?
It's called magnesium breakthrough.
It's my favorite magnesium product that I continue to highly recommend.
It's the only full-spectrum magnesium supplement with seven unique forms of magnesium that your body can actually absorb.
And this month, they're including free bottles of their free line of digestive health products on select orders.
That means you're getting free products to try that will support your digestive system.
Look, you need to have an optimized digestive system, and you guys have got to be taking magnesium.
So, check it out right now: magbreakthrough.com/slash kirk.
That's magbreakthrough.com/slash kirk or enter kirk10 for 10% off every order.
No BS, no nonsense.
I take magnesium before bed every single night.
I love this company, buy optimizers, they do a great job.

It helps support healthy digestion and elimination, helps support healthy bone mineralization and density, helps maintain blood pressure.
And honestly, you'll fall asleep like that.

Zelensky Aid Question00:04:58
For those of you that in the audience that might support sending money to Ukraine, thank you for listening.
Disagreement is always welcome here.
I love disagreement.
I invite it.
You can always email us your disagreement, freedom at charliekirk.com.
I will read the emails.
I might respond.
I might read them on air.
So, you know, make the best argument you can.
Respectful disagreement is what keeps a society interesting, functioning, and flourishing.
You need to be able to disagree because I learned something and you push against the premise.
And so, if you are in the camp where you say, Charlie, I fully support sending money to Ukraine, fine.
Okay.
That's a disagreement.
I will ask, though, how much is too much money?
And we asked that question from the senator of North Dakota, a very nice and decent man who I believe has a lot of integrity, Senator Kramer.
And he came on this program and I'm paraphrasing, but he said something of the, I don't know if there is a limit.
And that's not a responsible answer, in my opinion.
And I say that with a lot of respect for him because we agree on most issues.
But does Zelensky have a claim over the U.S. Treasury?
For those of you that think and support what's happening in Ukraine and the money that we're pumping into Ukraine, do you ever pause for a moment and believe, hmm, maybe there is a greater priority we could be investing in here domestically?
Just a question.
Do you think that there is maybe something that is more important to our needs, wants, and interests to your kids' future than a proxy war, a very messy and murky proxy war, halfway across the world?
And I could tell you from talking to the grassroots to regular everyday people, people are much more concerned about our schools and our borders being protected than giving armaments to Zelensky.
Tucker Carlson had one of the most, I think, sharp takedowns of Zelensky in recent memory, where Zelensky is now going and demanding more of your money.
Zelensky says, I want more money.
We don't have enough.
We need more aid.
We need more U.S. dollars.
We don't have enough.
It's not going to stop.
We're going to want more and more aid.
Where is all this money going?
There's no accountability, by the way.
Where's the congressional oversight?
Are any of these arms falling into the hands of our super enemies?
Are some of these weapons being trafficked in the black market?
These are all very legitimate questions.
Here's a question for the U.S. government.
What are they actively doing to try to broker peace in Ukraine?
That's a question.
Anything?
What are they trying to do to actively broker peace in Ukraine?
Tucker Carlson with a very sharp response, PlayCut 97.
The scope of this year's support should be not less than $5 billion.
What?
Some uppity foreigner in a t-shirt demanding money for his critical economic needs?
We have critical economic needs too, buddy.
Who are you, troll?
Go away.
What?
Since when does that guy have a claim on our treasury?
He has a claim on our treasury because the Republican Party has not made the moral argument of what a government exists to do, which is to serve your citizens first and foremost.
This is the neoliberal trap.
It's very easy to fall into it.
Neoliberalism makes you believe that your government transcends borders.
Neoliberalism enables your belief that you can go play nation builder in every corner of the country, regardless of cultural background, history, and likelihood to embrace Western values.

And then he goes and just with this entitlement smug attitude, we need more money, pal.
Yeah, the U.S. government has created a surrogate state.
And by the way, so they end the war in Afghanistan and they go start a much more lucrative war now in Ukraine.

It took them six months to realign their interests.
