| That's why we are here. | |
| Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com. | |
| Last night was the State of the Union address. | |
| I did not watch it. | |
| I've watched a couple clips here and there. | |
| But someone who made headlines is someone who, let's say, interjected at one point of the speech, Congresswoman Lauren Bobert, who speaks at a lot of our Turning Point USA events and is from Colorado. | |
| And she joins us right now. | |
| Congresswoman, how are you doing? | |
| I'm doing great, Charlie. | |
| Unfortunately, the state of our union is not great. | |
| And, you know, we heard a lot of gaslighting last night, but we didn't hear a lot of solutions. | |
| I was just happy when the speech was over because with all the spending talk that Biden had, I think his Amex card had reached its limit. | |
| So you've made some headlines for interjecting. | |
| Tell us about it. | |
| Listen, Charlie, we all saw what took place in Afghanistan, that horrible, botched withdrawal. | |
| A lot of people are upset at me on the left for interrupting a speech, but I think that there are 13 families whose lives are far more interrupted right now because of Joe Biden's failures. | |
| We heard a lot of promises last night for increased taxes and spending, but Joe Biden said nothing about how he was going to fix the crises he created. | |
| Biden was trying to earn political points by talking about troops that were being buried in flag-draped coffins. | |
| My mind went straight to the 13 soldiers that died in Afghanistan under Joe Biden's watch. | |
| The mother of one of those soldiers lives in my district, and she told me that Joe Biden killed her son. | |
| Last night, Biden invited a big tech CEO to the State of the Union, but couldn't be bothered to recognize any of the families who lost loved ones in Afghanistan. | |
| Biden took no responsibility for his failures last night in Afghanistan, but he also took no responsibility for the other crisis that we're seeing with the border, inflation, transportation, and even the rising of crime in our cities. | |
| Joe Biden and the Democrats tried to act like they weren't the party that defunded and defamed the police for the past two years. | |
| The gaslighting is ridiculous, and Americans aren't falling for it. | |
| Yeah, and so his approval ratings are at record lows. | |
| Even in Colorado, Joe Biden's numbers are underwater. | |
| Talk about more about just kind of the general lack of addressing, trying to bring the country together. | |
| This seemed like a radical left-wing speech in more ways than one to just kind of dive more into that. | |
| The missing components of this speech were so evident. | |
| Whether it be Biden's war on energy, he didn't, there's almost no accomplishments mentioned at all. | |
| Help us through that. | |
| Right. | |
| There aren't any accomplishments mentioned because there aren't any to discuss. | |
| We've been under one-party Democrat rule at a national level now for the past year, and there's no policy that we can point to that's actually helping American families right now. | |
| And I certainly wasn't assured of anything more that Joe Biden will continue to try to do except for raise taxes, increase government spending, fuel the flames of inflation, and deflect on the issues that Americans really are concerned about, like the border crisis, transportation crime, just to name a few. | |
| But, you know, if I were to give Joe Biden my own rating, I'd certainly give him an F. | |
| But his failures happened before Russia, before Russia invaded Ukraine. | |
| It really started by killing American energy, making us even more dependent on Russian oil. | |
| His total failure in Afghanistan. | |
| He showed the world he is weak. | |
| And I don't think that sanctions will convince Putin that Joe is really a threat. | |
| We have the southern border that is absolutely wide open. | |
| He canceled construction of the border wall on day one, but American citizens are still paying $5 million a day in government contracts for a wall that is not being built. | |
| And this is just more weakness that our enemies have been noticing for the past year. | |
| So there's certainly a lot of things that he should have been talking about. | |
| One thing I did notice, Charlie, is President Biden never said build back better. | |
| That was his entire agenda, and it was rejected by the American people. | |
| Biden's poll numbers reflect what the American people are seeing. | |
| And they see that he is incapable of improving the country. | |
| So he reverted to what all Democrats revert to, tax and spend policies. | |
| Yeah, he said building a better America, whatever that means. | |
| Yes. | |
| And so I think you wore a drill baby drill shirt as well yesterday. | |
| And a lot of the State of the Union is theater. | |
| So now I got to ask you, Congresswoman, because we've been receiving a lot of emails and some of our listeners are divided. | |
| I think you could probably see part of why they're divided because we really went after Nancy Pelosi when she tore the speech. | |
| We said, have some respect for the president. | |
| What do you have to say for people that say, hey, look, I'm with you, Congresswoman, but maybe you shouldn't interrupt a president of the State of the Union. | |
| What's your thought on that? | |
| First of all, I was really caught up in the emotions of it. | |
| He started mentioning Afghanistan, but didn't bother to mention the 13 soldiers. | |
| He went on to something totally different. | |
| And that really just overwhelmed me. | |
| And I couldn't help but speak out. | |
| And look, I would love to have a conversation in a better setting with him. | |
| I would love to be able to talk to him. | |
| And maybe I'll get the chance to do that when Republicans are in the majority in 2023. | |
| And we can actually put forward my articles of impeachment for Joe Biden and have a real conversation. | |
| And as far as the drill baby drill goes, look, Joe Biden, he waged a war on American energy and left us in a very dangerous place. | |
| We rely on Russian energy importing nearly 600,000 barrels of energy per day when we should be energy independent and certainly energy dominant. | |
| We should be able to export energy to our allies, which is literally exporting freedom. | |
| And so I wore drill baby drill on my shaw to remind the Democrats of exactly what we should be doing and how we should stop funding Russia's war. | |
| Yeah, and that's a lot of the State of the Union is kind of like making alternative points. | |
| And I think people understand that. | |
| And I'll be honest, like if I was in the audience, I don't know if I would have been able to contain myself. | |
| So I think that's a fair answer. | |
| If I had to listen to Joe Biden go on and massacre the truth for however long he talked. | |
| And I said full disclosure, I didn't even listen to the entire speech. | |
| It's how I remain sane. | |
| I've looked little pieces and bits. | |
| In closing, Congresswoman, tell us about your race. | |
| A tough one in Colorado with redistricting. | |
| Tell us about it. | |
| So, in Colorado's redistricting, we actually picked up a seat in Colorado that we're hopeful that we will be able to win, that Republicans will be able to win. | |
| And in my district, I went from Republicans leading by a six-point advantage to now a nine-point advantage. | |
| So, we have a couple of liberal Republicans. | |
| I think the R behind their name stands for rollover, who are trying to challenge me. | |
| But we have a caucus and assembly process in Colorado that I value dearly, and they're trying to buy their way onto the ballot. | |
| I don't think that they'll be successful, but I'm looking forward to continuing to serve the people of Colorado's third district. | |
| It truly has been the honor of my life. | |
| We've worked on over 650 constituent cases, returned hundreds of thousands of dollars back to the district to people who were owed that money from the government, but bureaucrats were getting in the way. | |
| And then, of course, just all the travel through my district, which is nearly half the state of Colorado, meeting with people, listening to them, hearing from them, and coming up with solutions has been just an honor and a joy to do. | |
| Well, we're behind you. | |
| And are you still on the western slope or are you still sort of? | |
| I'm still on the western slope. | |
| So, we lost a little bit of my northern district. | |
| Steamboat Springs is gone, but we picked up more southern Colorado. | |
| Yeah, right. | |
| Unfortunately, they take over the pretty spots. | |
| But listen, I ran as a conservative. | |
| I was elected as a conservative, and I legislate as a conservative, which is a victory for the voters. | |
| I have 100% conservative ratings with National Right to Life, Gun Owners of America, Freedom Works, and so many others. | |
| Because I legislate as a conservative, I do, Charlie, have one 0% rating, and that is from Planned Parenthood. | |
| But hey, they could go fund themselves. | |
| I love that. | |
| Congresswoman, thank you so much for joining us. | |
| Always fun. | |
| Thank you. | |
| Thanks so much, Charlie. | |

|
Jobs and Vaccine Updates
00:05:22
|
|
| I guess you could call them that, or some of the news-making issues from the State of the Union. | |
| Let's go to CUT 51. | |
| Tonight, I'm announcing that we will join our allies in closing off American airspace to all Russian flights further Iceland in Russia and adding additional sprees on their economy. | |
| Yeah, I don't know how big of a issue it is to tell Russian flights they can't fly over Sacramento or fly over Alaska. | |
| Maybe that's a big deal. | |
| Why don't you cut off their oil supply? | |
| Because he's not serious. | |
| That's why. | |
| It's because he would much rather get us into a war than broker peace and create millions of American jobs. | |
| Play cut 52. | |
| So let us continue to draw inspiration from the iron will of the Ukrainian people. | |
| To our fellow Ukrainian Americans who forge the deep bond that connects our two nations, we stand with you. | |
| We stand with you. | |
| Putin may circle Kyiv with tanks, but he'll never gain the hearts and souls of the Iranian people. | |
| He'll never extinguish their love of freedom. | |
| So he said Iranian people, not exactly sure which conflict he's talking about. | |
| They think we're somewhat of an idea of that. | |
| Then Biden had this really bizarre line where he says you can't build a wall high enough to keep out a vaccine. | |
| Play Cut 56. | |
| Fourth, we'll continue vaccinating the world. | |
| We've sent 475 million vaccine doses to 112 countries, more than any nation on earth. | |
| We won't stop because you can't build a wall high enough to keep out a vaccine. | |
| The vaccine can stop the spread of these diseases. | |
| Not really sure where that one came from. | |
| Recent study, according to Dr. Robert Malone, summary data from Great Britain, reveals that nine out of 10 people dying of COVID are vaccinated. | |
| Dr. Malone says, quote, the notion that the vaccines protect against severe disease and death is failing. | |
| But Joe Biden says you can't build a wall high enough to keep out the vaccine. | |
| Very bizarre. | |
| Cut 64, Biden says, I've ordered more pills than anyone in the world has. | |
| Play Cut 64. | |
| If you get COVID-19, the Pfizer pill reduces your chances of ending up in the hospital by 90%. | |
| I've ordered more pills than anyone in the world has. | |
| Pfizer is working overtime to get us a million pills this month. | |
| So, of course, never did they want to talk about ivermectin or azithromycin or any of these other potential treatments, but now they want the Pfizer pill. | |
| Biden continued by saying in Cut 65, he has the back of young transgender Americans, not mentioning the fact that women and female sports are soon to be completely and totally obliterated, like at the University of Pennsylvania. | |
| Play Cut 65 for our LGBTQ plus Americans. | |
| Let's finally get the Bipartisan Equality Act to my desk. | |
| The onslaught of state laws targeting transgender Americans and their families. | |
| It's simply wrong. | |
| And I said last year, especially to our younger transgender Americans, I'll always have your back as your president so you can be yourself and reach your God-given potential. | |
| He's, of course, talking about chemical castration bills in states like Arkansas and others that allow 12, 13, and 14-year-olds to permanently alter their biological makeup with the potential help of state and taxpayer funding in irreversible ways. | |
| Joe Biden says he created over 6.5 million jobs. | |
| Locking down the economy and then, let's say, slowly reopening it is not creating new jobs, it's refilling jobs that previously existed. | |
| Play Cut 66. | |
| It worked. | |
| You created jobs, lots of jobs. | |
| In fact, our economy created over 6.5 million new jobs just last year. | |
| More jobs in one year than ever before in the history of the United States of America. | |
| The economy grew at a rate of 5.7 last year, the strongest growth rate in 40 years. | |
| When you lock down the economy and you reopen it, that's not new growth. | |
| It's not new jobs that are being created. | |
| So how's your new year going so far? | |
| Pretty good, I hope. | |
| But it's been tough, hasn't it? | |
| Lots of us have begun to wake up and smell the roses. | |
| And some of us have smelt coffee instead. | |
| All of us are now realizing how quick time is rushing past. | |
| You're that much closer to retirement and that much closer to not earning. | |
| But in the meantime, you've got some catching up to do. | |
| With crypto and markets very risky right now and inflation running anywhere between 8 to 20 percent, and conservatively it's 8 percent. | |
| Where are you going to keep your money to keep up and beat it? | |
| You might want to talk to an expert at Noble Gold and run through the options for keeping your money safe. | |
| No pressure, no hassle, and no call centers. | |
| This month, Noble Gold is giving away a free one-tenth of an ounce solid gold American Eagle coin with any qualifying plan that you start. | |

Russia Invades Sovereign Ukraine

| With us right now is a friend of mine and a very articulate defender of Western civilization, Nigel Farage. | |
| Nigel, welcome back to the program. | |
| Charlie, great to be here. | |
| Thank you. | |
| So, Nigel, you're somewhat of an expert on European affairs, more so than I think anyone in our country is qualified to talk about. | |
| What's your perspective on this Russian-Ukrainian situation? | |
| Well, you know, mistakes of the past are mistakes of the past. | |
| I think that we made some big mistakes. | |
| Clinton started it actually deciding that NATO should keep on expanding eastwards and the European Union too. | |
| And that's given Putin grounds to say we're being encircled, we're being invaded. | |
| And that's the narrative that Putin has pushed to the Russian people. | |
| However, that was then. | |
| Where we are now is that a sovereign country has been invaded. | |
| Tanks, cruise missiles, everything. | |
| It's the first time we've seen anything like this on this scale since 1945. | |
| The Ukrainians have fought back much harder than anyone thought they would. | |
| It's estimated that over 5,000 Russian soldiers have been killed already. | |
| But right now, the capital city, Kiev, is about to be encircled by Russian troops. | |
| And there's going to be a siege, I would think, for a period of time. | |
| Can the Ukrainians hold out against Russian might? | |
| I'm not so sure they can. | |
| And for our part, well, Ukraine is not a NATO country. | |
| We've chosen not to intervene. | |
| And here's the reason why. | |
| And here's the scary bit. | |
| I've always thought of Putin as being logical, clever, a good guy at playing the international chess game. | |
| But I think this time he must have lost his mind. | |
| He looks like he's lost his mind. | |
| When he has meetings now with foreign leaders, they're not allowed within 40 feet of him, such as his paranoia about coronavirus. | |
| And to invade Ukraine, which clearly does not want to be part of Russia, horrible memories of what the Soviet Union did there for year after year. | |
| He's united the world against him in the most incredible way. | |
| The British, even the Germans have done a U-turn. | |
| Even the Swedes, who, when Hitler was trying to take the world over, stayed neutral. | |
| Even the Swedes are sending some weaponry to help the Ukrainians. | |
| And so we now see Russia increasingly being isolated from the rest of the world. | |
| But if this man has lost reason, that explains why NATO haven't gone to help the Ukrainians. | |
| Because, of course, this is a nuclear power. | |
| And we're facing up to the first confrontation between nuclear powers since the Cuban missile crisis nearly 60 years ago. | |
| And I certainly don't trust the American leadership to be able to navigate that at all in any way whatsoever. | |
| So let me ask you, Nigel, I want to dive deeper into the psychology of Putin because I'm totally on the same page as you. | |
| Other people say, you know, Putin is always playing a game. | |
| He has a card that we don't see. | |
| I don't see a rational explanation for this at all. | |
| This seems like someone who is in the last grasps of dementia, of someone who is pathological, sociopathic. | |
| This is not rational. | |
| This is not gamesmanship. | |
| This is not anything that I think could be other than I'm not going to be around much longer and I want what's mine. | |
| Is that the right way to look at it? | |
| There's a sense of history here. | |
| I think what Putin is harking back to and not the days of the Soviet Union so much, but actually Imperial Russia, Catherine the Great, the Tsars, the great Russian Empire. | |
| That's his feeling. | |
| Now, look, you know, when it came to the crime, when it came to Crimea in 2014, well, Crimea is Russian speaking. | |
| It is Russian culturally. | |
| So he kind of got away with that. | |
| But there's no doubt about it, that those people living in Kiev, the capital city in the west of Ukraine, you know, they do not feel Russian. | |
| They don't want to be Russian. | |
| And for Putin to have done this and to have united the world against him shows complete overreach, total lack of judgment, bordering on megalomania. | |
| And if he does take Ukraine, which I have to be honest is the likely outcome, well, my guess, Charlie, is it'll be Moldova next. | |
| Moldova, small country, 2.6 million people, very few resources. | |
| And then we face the prospect of, well, it wouldn't be Poland. | |
| It's too big and powerful. | |
| But what about Estonia? | |
| Estonia, NATO member, 1.3 million people in it. | |
| What happens if he invades Estonia? | |
| Are we seeing a repeat of what Hitler did back in the 1930s? | |
| Now, the problem here, I've said already on this call, that even the European Union have united in terms of collective action. | |
| America, can you believe that America, which has led the free world since 1945, the country we look to because of its size, because of its strength? | |
| I could not believe that last weekend, Biden was in Delaware. | |
| If ever there was a time for an American leader to have come to Europe, to have got the leaders round the table, to assume control of the situation, it was then. | |
| And all we got really last night in the State of the Union speech, well, apart from confusing Iranians and Ukrainians, I mean, just how embarrassing can you get? | |
| All we got really from Biden was we're going to do on sanctions the same thing that the Europeans are going to do. | |
| And it does appear that since the fall, since the fall of Kabbalah, since the American withdrawal from Afghanistan, at least the way in which the withdrawal was conducted, that America has rather disappeared off the world stage. | |
| Now, I quite understand those people who say, hey, you know what? | |
| 20 years in Afghanistan, the cost of Iraq, the mistakes of Libya. | |
| I understand all of those arguments. | |
| And hey, I didn't want my country to be involved in those wars either. | |
| But this is different. | |
| This is a tyrant who is threatening free democratic nations, nations with whom we all have so much in common, values that we share in so many ways. | |
| This is a nuclear power run by somebody who now is looking increasingly mad. | |
| This is serious. | |
| So if he continues the, let's say, campaign, let's say he seizes Kyiv successfully and takes all of Ukraine, which is easier said than done, because then he'll have to govern 25 million people that don't like him, which I don't quite understand what he plans to do with that. | |
| That's a separate question. | |
| But let's say he goes to Moldova and Estonia. | |
| What is the West's proper response here, Nigel? | |
| Because it seems that Putin is kind of wagging the thing that we're all afraid of, nuclear conflict. | |
| He's like, hey, I'm ready to use nuclear weapons. | |
| And that's enough to make the markets go south and enough to make the West kind of very apprehensive for intervention. | |
| What is the proper posture for deterrence here? | |
| Well, I think the point of that, I mean, the real point is he saw American weakness. | |
| He thought he saw European weakness. | |
| It was into that vacuum that he's acted. | |
| I promise you, if Donald Trump was in the White House, he would not have done this. | |
| All right. | |
| I absolutely believe that with all my heart. | |
| We need to put down an absolute red line. | |
| We need to say any incursion of any nature into a NATO country means we will be at war with you. | |
| And we will basically wipe out your military. | |
| And at some point, we've got to put down that red line. | |
| Otherwise, there may be no stopping this man. | |
| Right. | |
| I guess the fear is Putin will say, fine, but then I'll launch a nuclear warhead, right? | |
| I mean, that's the fear, but that is the fear. | |
| But remember this. | |
| People living in Moscow, you know, Moscow now looks more like a Western city than it's ever looked. | |
| All right. | |
| And in Moscow now, there's a run on the banks. | |
| It's impossible for people to leave Russia. | |
| They're trapped now like prisoners in the country, just as they were back in the Soviet Union times. | |
| We've already seen a minor mutiny of Russian sailors that took place the other day. | |
| There are reports of Russian soldiers giving themselves up. | |
| You know, it may well be that Russia collectively comes to its senses and realizes that it's led by a man who is going to enormously harm their lives. | |
| So it may well be the rebellion that gets rid of Putin actually comes from within. | |
| And that's not going to happen overnight, but it may well happen in time. | |
| But what we're seeing is this new alliance that is forming. | |
| You know, we're seeing Pakistan, North Korea, Russia and China now allied together. | |
| And I can't help feeling somewhere in all of this that China, whatever happens, China will come out of this even stronger. | |
| And that poses all of us with an even bigger question. | |
| You know, what do we do? | |
| What do we do if China decides to go and take Taiwan? | |
| And this is a real life cost of wokeism. | |
| I have to say, Nigel, the West is weak because of all of this gender ideology in our military, CRT in our schools. | |
| We are not in a posture for kinetic conflict. | |
| I mean, our military is, thank goodness, but our people, it's as if we've been so distracted by these nonsensical cultural arguments put by the radical left, both in your country and ours. | |
| All of a sudden, we have a very real threat, such as how do you energize your economy or how do you defend your people? | |
| And Putin is taking advantage of that. | |
| He thinks that the West is over. | |
| I think the West has a lot more fight in it than I think he actually estimates. | |
| I agree with you. | |
| You know, trust the people. | |
| Trust our armed forces. | |
| Biden is a product of that woke culture that you just talked about. | |
|
Weak West Faces Putin
00:06:58
|
|
| Weak, ineffectual leadership, lacking in principle. | |
| You know something? | |
| When you look at Zelensky standing up and saying, we will fight for our independence. | |
| We will fight for our rights. | |
| The women and children being sent to safety, crossing the border into Poland and elsewhere. | |
| 900,000 people moved in the last few days. | |
| And the men prepared to stand and fight for principles, value, country. | |
| I tell you what, actually, Charlie, we could learn a lot from those Ukrainian men. | |
| I really believe that. | |
| It was some of those videos are refreshing with all of the kind of beta male nonsense that's been happening. | |
| You know, men that are saying, you know what? | |
| I'm going to go fight. | |
| Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here. | |
| I love supplements. | |
| If you could see my supply of various supplements, you'd think I was training for something. | |
| But I had to pick one supplement that transcends all the others. | |
| It would be balance of nature. | |
| I struggle sometimes to get my fruits and vegetables. | |
| Very hectic schedule. | |
| I'm always traveling, boarding planes, taxis, Ubers, checking in a hotels or being screamed at by angry leftists. | |
| It's really hard to go to the farmer's market to get greens, beets, pineapples, oranges, and kiwis. | |
| However, if you aren't getting a lot of daily fruits and vegetables, I can tell you balance of nature is the thing for you. | |

| Nigel, before we get into this, I just want to give you an opportunity to plug what you're doing and give our audience a chance to support you. | |
| Yeah, we started up a new TV channel here in the UK. | |
| We're sick to death of the BBC and Sky, which has completely gone downhill. | |
| It's a bit like, you know, MSNBC and CNN. | |
| We've not had a network where you could even hear a conservative voice. | |
| So GB News launched last summer. | |
| I'm doing a primetime show, 7 to 8 p.m. UK time. | |
| And I do that. | |
| I do that Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. | |
| And we have an app, GB News, the app. | |
| You can download it in America and you can watch it for free. | |
| We don't charge a penny. | |
| You can watch it. | |
| You haven't got to watch it live. | |
| You can watch it on catch up. | |
| And I do, you know, talk obviously about British issues, international issues, American issues. | |
| I will, of course, be mentioning tonight Joe Biden's speech yesterday. | |
| Nigel, it's always fun to listen to you. | |
| Your commentary is just so spot on. | |
| And I just, I have jealousy for our friends across the pond because your vocabulary is just so much more sophisticated than ours. | |
| It just is. | |
| Your diction is just more entertaining to listen to. | |
| So, Nigel, let me ask you: we have four minutes to go through this. | |
| I'll tell you really quickly. | |
| I am personally war-weary and I'm worried about escalation with a potential nuclear power. | |
| With that being said, I sympathize with a lot of what you said. | |
| I could see this getting out of control. | |
| How do we navigate this? | |
| What should the course of action be? | |
| What should Boris Johnson do right now? | |
| What should Joe Biden do specifically as we see what's happening in Ukraine? | |
| Let's make sure that the sanctions are genuinely watertight. | |
| And one of the problems is our woke culture has taken us towards green new deals. | |
| It's taken us towards trying to achieve net zero. | |
| And it's meant we've stopped producing as much gas and oil and electricity. | |
| We've stopped being independent when it comes to energy. | |
| And that's why, of course, we spend, you know, between America and the UK and Europe, they get about a billion dollars a day for their oil and gas. | |
| So number one, cut off supply, make ourselves more self-sufficient, cut them out completely of the banking system. | |
| Apple, who I rarely praise, will stop selling their products in Russia. | |
| So number one, make the economic noose as tight as possible to try to get Russia to turn against him from within. | |
| And secondly, and I'm like you, I'm war-wear. | |
| We've done too much of it for too long, but this is actually different. | |
| This is really very serious. | |
| We have to stand together under American leadership. | |
| The British will be right by your side, but it must be American leadership. | |
| We have to say, if NATO members are attacked, we will act. | |
| And when we say it, Putin has to think that we mean it. | |
| And this is the problem. | |
| You know, when Trump was there in the White House, there were no Russian incursions. | |
| We had Russian incursions under Obama. | |
| We had Russian incursions under Clinton. | |
| We've got Russian incursions under Biden. | |
| Under Trump, Russia did not move into any fresh territory. | |
| Do you know why? | |
| Because they actually thought this guy's a serious guy. | |
| He'll punish us if we do. | |
| So we've got to get tougher. | |
| We've got to get real, but the West must stand united because we believe in these values. | |
| And if they start to fall across the whole of Europe, well, look what happened last time, 80 years ago. | |
| Unavoidably, America would get dragged in. | |
| Yeah. | |
| And so my other fear, though, is the competency to pull that off. | |
| For example, is doing nothing better considering we have the idiots that are running our White House right now. | |
| I'm not kidding, because the fact that they could thread that needle and do it correctly, they might try to do what they did with COVID and try to kill a mouse with a Tomahawk missile. | |
| Do you understand what I'm saying? | |
| I do. | |
| Look, I mean, let's be honest about it. | |
| You know, Joe Biden is an embarrassment as leader of your country, as leader of the free world. | |
| He's clearly not competent, surrounded by idiots, getting bad advice, not capable of the job. | |
| But, but, but, but he is still the leader of the free world. | |
| You're right. | |
| He could get it wrong, but doing nothing right now is not an option. | |
| His allies, like us, the British, who've stood by you in virtually every major conflict since 1917, we need to hear from America that we're still part of the same team. | |
| You know what? | |
| We're hearing nothing. | |
| Hearing nothing. | |
| And it's just a total, it's a total tragedy because I see this thing stumbling out of control very quickly. | |
| And as Teddy Roosevelt said, speak softly, but carry a big stick. | |
| Ronald Reagan said, peace through strength. | |
| We have none of that right now. | |
| It's really sad. | |
| Nigel, thank you so much. | |
| We're out of time. | |
| You do phenomenal work, and it's such an honor to have you on. | |
