Fighting for Freedom Online
00:03:46
|
|
| Omicron was basically announced right after Thanksgiving. | |
| It was the new variant. | |
| Made the stock market plummet. | |
| New York, in anticipation of Omicron, decided to re-engage in lockdowns, mask mandates, vaccine mandates. | |
| Omicron is something that we must be very afraid of, is what we're told. | |
| Omicron, if you just watch Fauci, the NIH, and the CDC, it sounds like this is COVID 2.0. | |
| It is mutating in a more vicious, deadly, and aggressive manner. | |
| What's really going on here? | |
| How many people have actually died of Omicron? | |
| Is the virus getting stronger or is the virus getting weaker? | |
| Well, according to Neil Ferguson, who was the original lockdown artist, he was the person that originally the Imperial College study way back at the beginning of the pandemic in March of 2020. | |
| He has even come out and he said that Omicron is 45% less likely to cause hospitalization than Delta. | |
| By the way, that's without factoring in ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin, vitamin D levels, vitamin C, obesity, age, underlying health conditions, intravenous intervention, aspirin, melatonin, or Qcertin. | |
| And if you're not able to rattle off all those treatments, I encourage you to listen to our podcasts and equip yourself. | |
| Your government wants you to be scared and unprepared. | |
| Your government wants you to be fearful and confused. | |
| There are legitimate interventions and treatments that could potentially help you. | |
| Get to know them. | |
| Do not leave yourself or your loved ones helpless, trusting the federal government or the Pullet Bureau going into Christmas. | |
| 45% less likely to cause hospitalization than Delta, according to a major British study by Neil Ferguson. | |
| Among the previously infected, the risk of hospitalization from Omicron drops by as much as 69% for both the vaccinated and the unvaccinated. | |
| So what does that tell us? | |
| That means that if you've had COVID before, even if you get COVID again, it's likely not to be as intense. | |
| It's likely to fade in the life cycle of the aggressive nature of Omicron. | |
| The United Kingdom Health Security Agency, UKHSA, says that Omicron is 50 to 70% lower risk of hospitalization than Delta. | |
| And a new Danish study finds a negative effectiveness of mRNA vaccines against Omicron 90 days after two injections. | |
| The United Kingdom is reporting a similar negative effectiveness with the AstraZeneca vaccine. | |
| And so the numbers are showing us that the fatality, hospitalization, and severity of this virus is decreasing significantly. | |
| That should be cause for praise, not concern. | |
| Instead, we are seeing, and for all my friends listening on AM560 the answer, the opposite. | |
| Mayor Lori Lightfoot from Chicago has announced that you are not allowed to go to bars, restaurants, gyms, and entertainment venues in Chicago without showing proof of vaccination, even though the vaccination is showing to be nowhere near as effective as they said it would. | |
| Now, Mayor Lori Lightfoot is super concerned that a seven-year-old might try to go into the Magnificent Mile with being unvaccinated. | |
|
Sports Show Vaccine Lies
00:03:12
|
|
| But Mayor Lori Lightfoot is silent on the fact that there have been 833 total homicides in Chicago this year, 4,447 people total shot, 3,663 people shot and wounded, and 784 people shot and killed in downtown Chicago. | |
| Lori Lightfoot is more worried about checking your papers if you want to go to Gibson Steakhouse or checking your papers if you want to go shopping with your family. | |
| Washington, D.C. has also followed, saying that they're going to require vaccination for clubs, bars, and all students. | |
| Meanwhile, entire sports leagues are having to almost shut down because of widespread Chinese coronavirus outbreaks. | |
| Alabama offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien and offensive line coach Doug Marone test positive for COVID-19 despite being fully vaccinated. | |
| Philadelphia Eagles coach Nick Serrani tests positive for COVID-19 enters protocols. | |
| New York Jets head coach Robert Sala tests positive for COVID-19. | |
| Not to mention the Los Angeles Rams had to postpone their game by nearly four days because of a Chinese coronavirus outbreak. | |
| The College Football Playoff Committee, I'm a huge college football fan, has announced that a game could be and might be decided by COVID-19 forfeit. | |
| That's right, that the Michigan-Georgia game, which I can't wait to see, the Alabama-Cincinnati game, which I'm a little less enthusiastic to see, one of those games might be decided by a forfeit by a team if they don't pass COVID-19 protocols. | |
| Now, instead of actually giving the players and the athletes legitimate prophylactics to prevent them from getting COVID-19 seriously, instead they vaccinated every single player of every team. | |
| And what's happening? | |
| Widespread outbreaks. | |
| You see, sports can be a very effective and accurate cultural harbinger of what's happening politically. | |
| Remember when the NBA canceled games at the beginning of the pandemic, that was the beginning of what was called a national crisis. | |
| Sports can be a signal that a crisis is either increasing or decreasing in its threat towards you and your family. | |
| The NFL and other sports are showing that the vaccine is not preventing infection. | |
| Now, whether or not the vaccine is actually effective in helping you deal with the virus is a completely separate conversation. | |
| That conversation is only valid if you can compare the efficacy of the vaccine as a treatment, not as a vaccine, against hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, zithromycin, et cetera. | |
| We're not allowed to talk about early treatments or targeted intervention or herd immunity. | |
| Sports have been the bookends of this crisis. | |
| The cancellation of sports showed us how serious people actually were, the leaders actually were about locking down our country, what they shouldn't have done. | |
| Now, sports are also showing us that the lies they've been telling us are falling apart. | |
|
Leaders Spreading False Hope
00:14:49
|
|
| You see, without a strong virus, if Omicron is actually weak, what are the collectivists and the globalists going to do? | |
| Every piece of information we have shows that Omicron shows that the virus is on the end of the life cycle. | |
| It shows that Omicron is not something where we should be requiring more vaccines, more masks, or more mandates. | |
| It's the exact opposite. | |
| Instead, it should be telling the population, hey, this is weaker than ever before. | |
| The hospitalization rates should go down, not up. | |
| Biden, of course, when he announces his speech, makes it seem as if this is a greater threat to the American population than any of the other previous variants. | |
| Why is that? | |
| It's because the virus gives the current ruling class legitimacy, power, and the ability to reshape Western civilization and with it, the American project into an internationalist, globalist participant. | |
| If Omicron is weak, the ruling class is weak. | |
| If Omicron is dangerous, the ruling class is powerful. | |
| The real estate market is extremely hot right now. | |
| People are taking advantage of low interest rates and economic uncertainty by investing in real assets. | |
| Whether you are a first-time buyer or just looking to make a change, the key is to getting the property you want is being pre-qualified and having cash in hand. | |
| That's why you guys, all of us, myself included, I had to stop doing this. | |
| I had to stop using the big banks. | |
| I used a big bank for a loan previously. | |
| It was a disaster. | |
| It took forever. | |
| Not to mention, I go look at their score on secondvote.com. | |
| Like, wow, my loan helped fund abortions. | |
| BLM Incorporated, burning down of Wendy's, the destruction of our society. | |
| I'm done with it. | |
| Then I met Andrew and Todd, Andrew Del Ray and Todd of Akien, who become great friends of mine, AndrewandTodd.com. | |
| They are with Sierra Pacific Mortgage. | |
| My producer, Andrew, he's working with them right now, and he tells me they are part counselors, part financial planners, and they're really helping them. | |
| And I'm about to use them for something. | |
| I've been so impressed by them. | |
| But they are bankers, not brokers. | |
| That means that they can help you start to finish. | |
| But quite honestly, let's divest and take all of our money out of these woke banks. | |
| So maybe you're buying a new home. | |
| Maybe you're refinancing. | |
| Whatever process you're going through, just fill out a couple simple questions online at andrewandodd.com. | |
| They can assess your situation right over the phone. | |
| Go to AndrewandTodd.com or call AAA 8881172. | |
| That's AAA 8881172. | |
| If you have a friend who's buying a home, I'm sure every single person knows someone that's buying a home. | |
| Just put your arm around him and say, hey, go to Andrewandodd.com. | |
| Charlie Kirk speaks favorably of them. | |
| Here's what I can guarantee you with AndrewandTodd.com. | |
| Zero of the proceeds will go to fund abortion. | |
| Zero will go to fund BLM. | |
| Zero will go to fund the woke industrial complex instead. | |
| Andrew and Todd, they support shows like ours. | |
| They want to help patriots, Christians, and people that love their country and love the Lord take out loans and do it correctly. | |
| So go to AndrewandTodd.com, call 888-888-1172. | |
| That's 888 888 1172. | |
| AndrewandTodd.com. | |
| Support the good guys and stop supporting companies and banks that hate you. | |
| The banks have waged war on our values. | |
| Time to say Sayonara via Candios. | |
| Alvita Sane. | |
| I'll be going to andrewandTodd.com. | |
| I want you to imagine for a second that instead of vaccines in every direction, that from the very beginning, the government would have promoted and would have helped distribute COVID-ready kits. | |
| What if from the beginning little plastic bag of Qcertin, vitamin D, vitamin C, hydroxychloroquine, zinc, and azithromycin was distributed and was made available to the American citizenry? | |
| What would this pandemic look like? | |
| What would this pandemic look like that instead of go get your booster shot and your vaccine shot, it'd say, here's 20 things that could help you deal with potentially getting COVID? | |
| Why is there, has anyone seen? | |
| I have a legitimate question for anyone listening right now on our national radio network. | |
| Email me freedom at charliekirk.com if you have seen any state-sponsored, CDC-sponsored, or health official-sponsored commercial promoting vitamin D or monoclonal antibodies. | |
| Has anyone seen a big commercial about, do you know that if you have COVID seriously, you could get monoclonal antibodies at these locations? | |
| Has anyone seen an advertisement around that? | |
| No, instead, when you drive around in Phoenix, for those of you listening on AM960, The Answer, there's this non-stop, tyrannical, strange, like Orwellian propaganda. | |
| Am I right, Connor? | |
| It's all over with a 101, which is get vaccinated. | |
| It saves lives. | |
| Like, okay. | |
| Tell that to Elizabeth Warren, who just got the virus, or Corey Booker. | |
| No, what's amazing is that third world countries, countries that are so poor, countries that are so broken that hundreds of thousands of people leave them to come to America actually send COVID-ready kits to their population. | |
| El Salvador literally distributes COVID-ready kits to their population. | |
| Florida is doing that as well. | |
| The Arizona Department of Transportation has the state-sponsored propaganda: get vaccinated now, get vaccinated now. | |
| Okay, maybe if you want to do that and that's your decision. | |
| But what happens when the vaccinated person gets the virus? | |
| Oh, the NIH website says just go home and pray. | |
| I'm all into prayer. | |
| I think that's really important. | |
| I'm not diminishing it. | |
| Are you going to do anything to actually not just treat the symptoms, but actually help the impending cytokosine storm? | |
| No, the government has been a co-conspirator. | |
| The government has been a participant in making you permanently afraid. | |
| And it's obviously so clear. | |
| We know the treatments at this point. | |
| And I've never used, and I will never use the C word. | |
| The C word is a completely and total, it's misleading. | |
| The C word is the cure word. | |
| I don't do that, okay? | |
| Instead, we should always be honest that there is a menu of options that could improve your chances to survive and get through the virus. | |
| I want you to imagine that instead of saying 300 million Americans and five-year-olds need to get vaccinated, instead our government said, here's your COVID-ready kit. | |
| Here's your 20 things or 15 things, QCERTIN, vitamin D. What if we did a nationwide Marshall plan to get vitamin D levels up? | |
| Every study shows the higher vitamin D levels, if your vitamin D level is above 50, mine is I have a 61 vitamin D level. | |
| And if you don't know your own vitamin D level and you're worried about COVID, you've been intentionally disempowered by Fauci and by the pharmaceutical industrial complex. | |
| Here's a good rule for life. | |
| You're a lot more powerful than your rulers make you feel. | |
| You have a lot more agency and ability to navigate all of this arbitrage and this blitzkrieg of nonsense. | |
| And it's been a really interesting thing for me because people of all different personalities, people of all different religions, people of all different political views. | |
| Now, more people on the right, I think, are more open-minded than the left, but still, the religion of fear transcends any sort of fit box. | |
| Now, there is a moving average that young men in their early 30s have had enough with this nonsense and more likely to listen to Aaron Rodgers and Joe Rogan than Fauci, and they should. | |
| Aaron Rodgers and Joe Rogan are actually talking about ways that you could early intervene into the getting of the virus. | |
| The virus is a very serious thing for some people. | |
| And it's so serious that our government says, oh, by the way, if you get it, good luck. | |
| Maybe take remdesivir that could destroy your kidneys. | |
| Email us your thoughts, everybody. | |
| Freedom at charliekirk.com. | |
| Has anyone seen a nationwide public service announcement around vitamin D or monoclonal antibodies? | |
| Has anyone seen that? | |
| Or is it all just vaccines, vaccines, vaccines? | |
| Why? | |
| I've been telling you guys about Relief Factor for quite some time. | |
| And truth is, I know millions of people are, in fact, 100 million people are in some kind of pain. | |
| Look, producer Andrew, he couldn't walk. | |
| He was a hobbled individual. | |
| He was bedridden in his chair, complaining all the time. | |
| And then all of a sudden, we got this call from Relief Factor. | |
| They said, hey, we want to partner with your show. | |
| We're going to send you some Relief Factor. | |
| Producer Andrew got it. | |
| He took it, got a little bit better, took some more, got a little bit better. | |
| Next thing you know, he's doing the Falseberry flop like you wouldn't believe. | |
| In fact, he might be training for an Iron Man. | |
| It's pretty incredible. | |
| Now, he says it's thanks to Relief Factor. | |
| I ask him all the time, Relief Factor? | |
| He says relieffactor.com, 100% drug-free supplement. | |
| You can get it for less than the cost of a cup of coffee a day. | |
| So go to relieffactor.com, and I'm suggesting you order their three-week quick start to see if we can get you out of pain. | |
| And then after that, it's less than the cost of a cup of coffee a day to stay out of pain. | |
| So go to relieffactor.com. | |
| That is relieffactor.com. | |
| I'm telling you, a lot of people are in pain. | |
| It's 100% drug-free. | |
| Don't go to opioids. | |
| Don't go to these other things. | |
| Check it out at relieffactor.com. | |
| Omicron. | |
| Is it worth shutting down our country? | |
| Of course not. | |
| It's actually, and again, I got to be careful the way I say this because everything gets clipped up to hold it against you. | |
| The way the virus is trending should give you hope. | |
| How about that? | |
| That sounds good, Connor? | |
| Because I was going to say, oh, it's good. | |
| Viruses are not good. | |
| Okay. | |
| People are still going to die from this. | |
| But it looks like it's nowhere near as deadly as the Chinese corona Fauci virus original strain was or the Delta strain. | |
| Okay, let's get to some tape here. | |
| Biden continues by saying we need boosters, never talking about treatments. | |
| And I just want to say, I said this to my friend yesterday, and I said, the suppression, the clamping down, the war, the memory holing, to use an Orwellian term, of early treatments is the greatest scandal of my lifetime. | |
| It really is. | |
| It's so obvious. | |
| It's all there. | |
| It's anecdotal. | |
| It's scientific. | |
| It's empirical. | |
| And what's so shocking is how many people that still don't know about it. | |
| You know, I have family friends and friends of Erica's that reach out to me and they say, I have COVID. | |
| What do I do? | |
| The NIH website says go home and help it gets better. | |
| I say, wait a second, we're at this point in this and you still don't know anything about treatments? | |
| No, I got the vaccine. | |
| I thought I'd be okay. | |
| Okay, go to CVS and here's what I recommend you get. | |
| No guarantees, obviously. | |
| But zinc, magnesium, vitamin D, vitamin D, vitamin C isithromycin, Qcertin, melatonin, aspirin, and if necessary, monoclonal antibodies won't hurt if done with the proper dosage. | |
| Let me be very clear. | |
| And of course, hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. | |
| Play cut 46. | |
| I listened to the scientist, and I'm sure the scientists are paying very close attention to that. | |
| There may be a need for another booster, but that remains to be seen. | |
| So it remains a possibility. | |
| It remains a possibility. | |
| It remains a possibility for another booster. | |
| What a great annuity campaign it is for the pharmaceutical companies. | |
| The World Health Organization, though, has said that the booster program can prolong the crisis. | |
| This is strange. | |
| You mean they're saying everything that we just asked a general question about? | |
| Play cut 56. | |
| No country can boost its way out of the pandemic. | |
| And boosters cannot be seen as a ticket to go ahead with the planned celebrations without the need for other precautions. | |
| You can't boost yourself out of the pandemic. | |
| Oh, really? | |
| Then why are we trying to boost another 200 million people? | |
| We know that all of this, if the pandemic becomes less important in people's lives, Democrats will lose power. | |
| And they don't want to do that. | |
| It's just a means to the end program. | |
| We've been covering it extensively for a year and a half now. | |
| Joe Biden now says, well, we don't know if we're going to overcome COVID. | |
| You see, this is the pessimism that is embedded in someone that wants to perpetually hold on to power versus the optimism and the empowerment that we have been holding the entire time. | |
| And I think President Trump missed an opportunity in the 2020 election against Biden to say that, look at all these potential treatments. | |
| And I do want to defend Trump, though. | |
| They attacked him so mercilessly when his instincts were right around hydroxychloroquine or regeneron. | |
| No, no, no, no. | |
| Shut down and wait for a vaccine. | |
| Lock down and wait for a vaccine. | |
| That was the only conversation. | |
| What a sloppy, what a simpleton way to view the world instead of a solution-oriented perspective. | |
| Play cut 47. | |
| It's like, I'm sure you're going to ask me, when's this going to end? | |
| How are we going to do this? | |
| Are we certainly going to be able to overcome the Delta virus, excuse me, the virus, COVID-19? | |
| The answer is the expectation is yes, because we have the best scientists in the world. | |
| We're moved so rapidly compared to other countries. | |
| But we don't know. | |
| We don't know for certain. | |
| He actually thinks America is a success story when it comes to this. | |
| 800,000 plus deaths. | |
| What should our leaders be saying? | |
| Do we have Cut 58 ready? | |
| In Florida, they've pulled all their pro-vaccination ads, replacing one that do not mention vaccines and talk about a holistic lifestyle. | |
| This is what our leaders should be communicating. | |
|
Discrimination Against Natural Immunity
00:07:15
|
|
| Play Cut 58. | |
| Protecting your health is a lifelong journey. | |
| We've always protected Floridians through innovative solutions. | |
| COVID-19 is no exception. | |
| Early treatment saves lives. | |
| It definitely saved mine. | |
| Talk to your doctor about what can work best for you. | |
| As always, it is important to maintain a healthy immune system and stay active. | |
| Let's live. | |
| Let's live. | |
| That's a lot different than be afraid. | |
| On there was zinc, vitamin Z, Q Certin, vitamin D, monoclonal antibody treatment. | |
| And it said there, early treatments save lives. | |
| You hear that? | |
| Early treatments save lives, which is totally true. | |
| And it's obvious. | |
| Meanwhile, Fauci says we have to ban unvaccinated people from coming over for Christmas. | |
| Do you see the two different visions? | |
| Florida, optimistic. | |
| People swimming in the Gulf of Mexico. | |
| People smiling. | |
| Optimistic, open. | |
| Where Fauci, who's a very dark person, we know that. | |
| Play Cut 44. | |
| This is the message that he wants to send. | |
| Cut 44. | |
| If someone in your family isn't vaccinated, should you ask them not to show up? | |
| Yes, I would do that. | |
| I mean, I think we're dealing with a serious enough situation right now that if there's an unvaccinated person, I would say I'm very sorry, but not this time, maybe another time when this is all over. | |
| I'm losing my patience with this. | |
| And I really, I mean, I'm getting to the place where I've read enough literature and I've seen enough of this nonsense. | |
| Why won't any of these people talk to me? | |
| I have some very serious questions. | |
| Hey, Fauci, question. | |
| If a professional athlete wants to come over for Christmas, should I let them if they're fully vaccinated? | |
| Because it seems like they're super spreading the disease everywhere. | |
| Why is it that all these members of Congress are getting the virus? | |
| Fauci, have you had the virus since you got vaccinated? | |
| Can we test your blood? | |
| Fauci, can we find out if you actually took hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin? | |
| Isithromycin? | |
| I'm super curious. | |
| Fauci, why don't you ever talk about vitamin D? | |
| 800,000 people dead. | |
| Do you consider that to be a success? | |
| The governor of New York, Kathy Holchel, for all of Hochul, whatever, for all you listening on WABC, listen to this: Cut 45. | |
| Vaccines, boosters, masks. | |
| And when you're thinking about who's at your dinner table, think of the most vulnerable person. | |
| And can you live with the guilt if something you did made them sick? | |
| This is a very important point. | |
| You see, the left doesn't have religion. | |
| They don't have a belief in a higher power. | |
| So everything is about mitigating guilt. | |
| They don't know how to deal with guilt. | |
| And so instead, they've designed an entire society around their inability to process the guilt of maybe passing a pathogen. | |
| Instead of the, and Florida has the exact opposite worldview, such as, let's live. | |
| What a great slogan. | |
| Why do you think people are moving to Florida in record numbers? | |
| We were just in Florida. | |
| People were very happy. | |
| Very happy. | |
| Ron DeSantis is going to win in a landslide, I really believe, in Florida. | |
| He's going to win a significant victory. | |
| And it really is a difference of worldviews. | |
| One that is optimistic and forward-thinking, one that is solution-oriented and innovative. | |
| And the other one that is dark, depressing, sad, that is slow, that is mean, angry, lying, deceitful. | |
| It is light versus dark. | |
| It absolutely is. | |
| Go to a blue state right now. | |
| In Chicago, they're saying that if you're a five-year-old, you can't go eat at a restaurant with your parents if you're not vaccinated. | |
| In Florida, no masks, total empowerment. | |
| If you get the virus, here's how to early intervene. | |
| People are waking up, but I'm going to be honest. | |
| It is shocking to me how people are still going along with some of this nonsense. | |
| It really is. | |
| Maybe it shouldn't be shocking, but it really is. | |
| Let's go to another tape here. | |
| Tucker Carlson, who we just had an interview with on our podcast, I encourage you to subscribe. | |
| Let's play Cut 42. | |
| As its power wanes and its destruction of the ballot box looms on the horizon, the Democratic Party is trying to wreck your Christmas. | |
| It's their latest psyop. | |
| They can't convince you of anything anymore. | |
| You no longer believe them. | |
| Why would you? | |
| So they're trying to punish and terrify you in this submission instead. | |
| But here's the good news. | |
| It's not working. | |
| Americans are going to celebrate Christmas anyway. | |
| They always have, and they're going to this year. | |
| This is still America. | |
| And it should continue that way. | |
| He continues by saying, some things are bigger than COVID, and it's true. | |
| But for the left, that's not true. | |
| These are angry, dark, broken, neurotic, paranoid people. | |
| We've called them pathological before. | |
| Of course they are. | |
| You have a virus that is actually getting weaker. | |
| You have more people with natural immunity and they want to lock down more and discriminate more against the unvaccinated. | |
| Of course they do. | |
| It's a massive totalitarian power play. | |
| They dream of situations like this. | |
| Omicron. | |
| Right. | |
| Play Cut 43. | |
| Just reminds you that some things are bigger than COVID. | |
| Love for your family, reverence for your God. | |
| The obligation you feel to carry on traditions that your ancestors observed. | |
| Those are all bigger than COVID, and that's not going to change. | |
| Amen. | |
| Those are all bigger than COVID. | |
| But they want to destroy that, don't they? | |
| They want to create wedges between families. | |
| It's intentional. | |
| We talked about how Mao Sedong turned children against parents. | |
| Do you notice how the CDC has now found a way to snake themselves into your family relationships and try to divide? | |
| According to the CDC, your family should be fractured based on medical status. | |
| Here's an interesting question. | |
| Anthony Fauci. | |
| Should you have every member of the family take a test on every communicable disease before they always gather? | |
| Should you tell the members of your family, hey, you know, you're not allowed to come to my home because you have HIV/AIDS? | |
| I know that you might not spread it. | |
| I know, but in this home, we discriminate on medical situations. | |
| In fact, here's a question, Fauci. | |
| Should obese family members not allowed to become over for Christmas? | |
| Is that a new standard? | |
| How about this? | |
| Should your alcohol-addicted cousins not allowed to become over for Christmas? | |
| Are you going to say, yeah, actually, in our family, we're not allowed that? | |
| We don't allow that. | |
| No, it is a pattern of the totalitarians, the pattern of the statists to insert themselves where they don't belong to create a wedge, a schism between family bonds that otherwise would be strong and unquestioned. | |
| They want to destroy the family. | |
| We've known that for a while. | |

| I don't always like doing this, but it's necessary at times to set the record straight. | |
| So, Chris Hayes did a segment on MSNBC about Turning Point USA's convention. | |
| Now, we are consulting with libel defamation lawyers about this. | |
| They're going to say it's just an opinion. | |
| Yeah, okay, we'll see. | |
| I don't want to get your hopes up, but I'll let you know if we proceed on this. | |
| Play cut 52. | |
| So, Chris Hayes here says that we had a festival and a celebration of violence on display at a Turning Point USA convention. | |
| It's not just that that's untrue, it's the opposite of the truth. | |
| At every corner, we reiterated peaceful involvement, the necessity to remain civil. | |
| This is pure slander, regardless of whether or not we'll be able to figure this out in the courts. | |
| It's an intentional drive-by shooting of the truth. | |
| Play cut 52. | |
| And yet, Kyle Rittenhouse is being turned into a right-wing hero. | |
| And you should see the moment that Tucker Carlson was lucky enough to meet him. | |
| We're big fans of you, as you know. | |
| Think about that sentence. | |
| What does that mean? | |
| There's literally nothing to be a fan of. | |
| It's not just Fox News. | |
| I want to show you what that looked like at the right-wing America Fest 2021 taking place over the past four days in Phoenix, Arizona. | |
| Ladies and gentlemen, please let's get loud for Kyle Rittenhouse. | |
| This event hosted by the conservative group Turning Point USA is the kind of place where we are seeing a certain grim aspect of right-wing politics getting increasingly more pronounced. | |
| It is a sort of celebration and modeling of fundamentally aberrant, anti-social, violent behavior, like being a jerk. | |
| No, I have a very serious question for Chris Hayes. | |
| Should we not elevate people that defend themselves correctly using the law and then survive an attack orchestrated by you to try to destroy their lives? | |
| Festival of violence. | |
| Not once when we had Kyle Rittenhouse on stage did we celebrate the obvious tragic nature of his story that two people died. | |
| No one wanted people to die, obviously. | |
| That's not worthy of celebration. | |
| That's not what we were doing. | |
| Instead, you know what we are celebrating, Chris Hayes? | |
| The fact that Kyle Rittenhouse was able to survive a hit job by the media and the legal system. | |
| Kyle was traumatized by what happened. | |
| But Chris Hayes, you would be doing some sort of weird happy dance if Kyle Rittenhouse would have been convicted wrongly for defending himself. | |
| Self-defense is a human right. | |
| Yeah, we are big fans of Kyle Rittenhouse, Chris. | |
| You know why? | |
| I don't know many 18-year-olds that would be able to waive their Fifth Amendment rights and go in front of 250 million people, go up against a belligerent prosecution, barely hold it all together, and then live to tell about it. | |
| I don't know many people that could do that, let alone 18-year-olds that could do that, Chris Hayes. | |
| Yeah, I'm a big fan of that, actually. | |
| I'm a big fan of young men that defend themselves and then actually go to the police and turn themselves in. | |
| That shows something about his character, Chris Hayes. | |
| Continue play cut 53. | |
| Now, Turning Point USA events are also the kinds of places where you get questions about when to start killing people. | |
| This happened at an event at Boise State University in Idaho in October. | |
| At this point, we're living under corporate and medical fascism. | |
| This is tyranny. | |
| When do we get to use the guns? | |
| No, and I'm not, that's not a joke. | |
| I'm not saying it like that. | |
| I mean, literally, where's the line? | |
| How many elections are they going to steal before we kill these people? | |
| So, Lamel, hold on. | |
| No, stop. | |
| Hold on. | |
| And now I'm going to denounce that. | |
| I'm going to tell you what, because you're playing into all their plans and they're trying to make you do this. | |
| When that guy says, I'm not joking, take this seriously, you should take it seriously. | |
| He wasn't joking. | |
| The person who responded to that questioner was the founder of Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk, who did knock down that suggestion, which is a low bar, but you know, give him credit for crossing it. | |
| But the celebratory message around violence, I mean, coming from the right wings, coming from Charlie Kirk's group saying, here's Kyle Rittenhouse, guys, is very clear. | |
| Yeah, just so we're clear, Chris Hayes, Kyle Rittenhouse did not seek to commit violence. | |
| He was acquitted of all charges. | |
| He's an innocent man. | |
| He's as innocent of violence as you are. | |
| Have you ever thought of that? | |
