There's a lot we want to get to.
We have some breaking news happening.
Exclusive story of how OSHA, remember OSHA, deployed by the Biden regime, has targeted a church in California, showed up unannounced, and started interviewing employees of the church in the school.
We have that whole story right there.
But I promised I would get into this.
And now, as the jury is deliberating around a story that dominated the news cycle a couple years ago, I'm, of course, talking about the Jussie Smollett incident.
Now, this happened almost three years ago.
Is that right, Connor?
Almost three years ago.
I don't know why.
Finally, it's coming to trial now.
Jussie Smollett is a failed actor and an awful singer who lives in Chicago.
Jussie Smollett is a gay black man, and he is currently facing a disorderly conduct charge and filing a false police report to set up an attack on himself on the night of January 29th.
Now, many of you listening right now might not remember all the details around this, and the importance of this story is very simple.
It's that every single day we are told by the activist press, the New York Times, the Washington Post, academia, Facebook, Harvard, every major institution that America is systemically racist, that hate crimes are on the rise.
Even though the type of hate crimes that are on the rise are black on Asian hate crimes, even though the type of hate crimes that are not even being reported are Christmas trees being burned all across the country.
For example, if a menorah was burned, it would rightly be called a hate crime.
If a mosque was burned, it would rightly be called a hate crime.
But if a Christmas tree is burned, people laugh at it.
The Christmas tree outside of Fox News was just burned a couple days ago, and the suspect was released with basically no bail.
Same happened in Chicago, same happened in Oakland.
They consider it to be a joke.
You see, this idea of hate crimes is something that's taken very seriously by the Biden Department of Justice.
But America is actually such a decent country.
We're actually so incredibly good to each other, given all the differences that we're supposed to focus on, that we have a supply and demand issue when it comes to racism.
We have such a low supply of racism and a high demand that it requires con artists like Jussie Smollett to create racism where it doesn't exist to try and draw attention to himself.
Put very simply and plainly, if you are a victim of a hate crime, it's like winning the lottery.
You get full attention.
You get right into the news cycle.
I want you to think about how sick that is.
That the way that the American media has now designed things, people want to be a victim of a hate crime.
That's what happened with Jesse Smollett.
Jussie Smollett wanted to be in the center of attention.
He wanted to be the focal point.
Now, I knew this story was nonsense from the start.
I've spent a lot of time in Chicago.
I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago.
For all of you listening on AM560, The Answer.
Jussie Smollett, who the jury's now deliberating.
Is that right, Connor?
By the way, let me just be very clear.
If Jussie gets found guilty, I doubt he'll serve prison time, okay?
This is more just kind of a let's get this out of the way thing, but it's important.
It's important because then Senator Kamala Harris immediately went to bat for this fake story.
It's important because Robin Williams, I think that's her name, black journalist, immediately interviewed Jussie Smollett and went all in for this story.
Every media outlet said, oh my goodness, it's so terrible that to make America great, two MAGA hat-wearing white people were walking the streets when it was negative 20 degrees in Chicago and threw a rope around a black gay actor.
How can we let this happen?
And no one ever stopped to say, wait a second, have you ever spent any time in Chicago?
I have.
As soon as I heard this story, I said, wait a second, hold on.
You're trying to tell me that two white men wearing MAGA hats at 2 a.m. when it was negative 20 degrees outside, one of the coldest days in Chicago on January 29th, they then found Jesse Smollett and threw a rope around him.
Here's a minute-by-minute account.
Jesse Smollett landed at O'Hare Airport at 1249 a.m.
Smollett then called his co-conspirators, two black Nigerians.
Here's just a little bit.
For anyone out there that is thinking of staging or faking a hate crime, which happens a lot, by the way, don't use black Nigerians to try to stage a white supremacist hate crime.
Probably a bad idea.
Also, don't pay those people with a check.
Mugging supplies was in the memo.
I'm kidding.
That's a joke.
By the way, we experienced this with one of our students at Turning Point USA in Minnesota, where she was totally smeared and slandered.
Robin Roberts, not Robin Williams.
Sorry, geez.
Robin Roberts.
She was a local Chicago host for years.
But it's important.
One of our Turning Point USA students was totally smeared and slandered in Minnesota for being a white supremacist, and it ended up being a total fake text message that was released.
Happens all the time, unfortunately.
There's a whole list, actually, of all the fake hate crimes.
We could list them.
There's a running website that does this.
So Smollett calls his co-conspirators, the Nigerians.
Amibola Osundario says the attack would take place at 2 a.m. at the corner of New and North Streets, a predetermined location.
Then the Nigerian brothers order a Uber rideshare, which picks the brothers up at their Lakeview apartment.
Surveillance video shows that the Osenderio brothers on foot in an area boarded on the north of Illinois Street, south by the Chicago River.
Smollett then arrives at a Streeterville apartment from the O'Hare airport.
Smollett then leaves to go get subway at 2 a.m.
It's kind of weird.
And then the Osendario brothers arrive at the intersection where the whole thing was staged.
A 45-second incident occurs.
And then the video then shows the Osendario brothers entering a taxi and going to the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
And remember, it was colder in Chicago that night than it was in the South Pole, just to be very clear, literally.
Jussie Smollett's business manager then calls the Chicago police, Frank Gatson.
The Smollett Fake Hate Crime 00:07:16
And here's when you knew it was just total nonsense.
And there is video of this.
The police enter the apartment, and Jussie Smollet still has the rope around his neck.
So what's the first thing that the police say?
You know you could take that rope off, right?
You don't have to wear it.
You don't have to wear the alleged lynching supplies.
Officers arrive at Smollett's apartment to interview him.
They observe cuts and scrapes on his face.
Smollett said the attackers yelled that this is MAGA country.
Now, I've been to a lot of Trump rallies.
I've never heard anyone say that.
That sounds like something that leftists think Trump supporters say at our rallies.
This is MAGA country.
Yeah, okay, no one ever says that.
It sounds like a fake stereotype of some screenwriter.
You know what they're saying at their Trump rallies?
What?
They're saying this is MAGA country.
Like, that's not at all what's being said.
Look, stocks are at all-time high.
People are saying things are going well, but you know they aren't.
Interest rates are at zero, and the government just printed $5 trillion.
What could possibly go wrong?
Consumer confidence just hit a 10-year low, and inflation hit 6.8%, with parts of the United States seeing rates as high as 8%.
Something is not adding up.
Inflation is here, everybody, and you've got to do something about it.
Put some of your assets into precious metals, and it will keep your money away from the volatility markets and inflation to let you sleep at night.

We are such a decent country that you have to try to fake your own hate crimes to try to make the point that America is systemically racist.
Jussie Smollett is just the latest example of that.
Kamala Harris said that this was a modern day lynching when it came to Jussie Smollett.
Cut 67, Smollett in 2019, February 2019, said that we have fear mongers that are trying to separate us.
Play Cut 67.
If I had said it was a Muslim or Mexican or someone black, I feel like the doubters would have supported me a lot much more, a lot more.
And that says a lot about the place that we are in our country right now.
The fact that we have these fear mongers, these people that are trying to separate us, and it's just not okay.
It's just not okay.
He's the one that's doing it.
Fox reports on claims that Don Lamond texted with Jesse Smollett about the police not believing him after the incident.
Play cut 81.
The Empire actor who faces charges of lying to Chicago police also revealed he received a text from CNN's Don Lemon during the investigation, relaying that officers didn't believe his account of what happened.
My favorite clip, and this goes to show everything that you need to know about it, is the police officers come in to help him, and he still has the rope around his neck.
So let me get this straight.
You're so terrified that two white people wearing Make America Great Again hats are trying to kill you, and it's a hate crime while you get Subway and it's negative 50 degrees with wind chill.
And you're so incredibly taken back by that, you continue to wear the rope as a piece of, I guess you could call it jewelry.
I don't know.
I mean, what is he just kind of just wearing it around?
He's just going to wear it to parties.
Play cut 82.
Yeah, this is all being out of the vision recorder.
Do you want to take it off or anything?
I do.
I just want to talk about it.
1872 rapport.
Do you want to take it off?
I mean, you don't have to keep it on.
In an Entertainment Tonight interview, Don Lamont said that he texted Jesse Smollett every single day after the hoax.
You see, con artists, they tend to hang together.
Play cut 83.
He also reveals that he called Smollett after news broke of the attack, and he texts the actor daily.
Every day, I say, I know you think I'm annoying.
I can show you a text.
I know you think I'm annoying you, but I just want to know who you're doing.
That you're okay.
Yeah.
You need somebody.
You can talk to me because there's not a lot of people.
Sometimes he responds, sometimes he doesn't.
He responds and says, You are not annoying.
There's not a lot of us out there that just make stuff up all day long.
There's not a lot of us out there that deal in the currency of fraudulent incidents to try and elevate one's career.
And look, what's so sick about this entire thing, and we'll see how the jury rules.
I have no prediction.
It could be like an OJ thing where you just have someone that convinces the jury because they hate the police and they hate the Chicago police or whatever.
Is that there were hundreds of police officers that were directed off the beat, that there were murders that probably got unresponded to because of what happened with Jesse Smollett.
Because if there really was a hate crime in downtown Chicago of two white rural anti-gay people wearing MAGA hats walking the streets negative 50 degrees, it could happen to anyone.
But in reality, it was two Nigerian brothers who were paid by Jussie Smollett to stage this entire thing.
Why would somebody do that?
That goes to the point about incentives.
They would do that because the way you become popular in the postmodern America is not through winning a Grammy, which Jussie Smollett would never do, or winning an Emmy, which Jesse Smollett would never be able to do.
Maybe he has.
I don't know.
It's all nonsense.
It's all a bunch of garbage.
The point is that instead of trying to apply himself and become a better person and get popularity that way, as if popularity is something you should care about, he says, no, I would rather be known for being a victim.
You see, Jussie Smollett, he designed this hate crime, fake hate crime, to satisfy the insatiable appetite of the demand of the media and of the people, which is that we like lifting up victims more than victors.
And Jussie played right into that.
Look, everyone out there has been asking me, Charlie, how do I get more pillows?

We have an exclusive story with us.
A friend of mine who is a pastor from the Bay Area.
Pastor McClure has just done an unbelievable job.
Mike McClure.
He has kept his church open despite the lockdowns and despite all the different things being thrown at them.
It's in Santa Clara County, and there's been over $3.8 million in fines levied against Calvary Chapel San Jose.
But something happened last week that is unprecedented, and it could impact every single person listening to this.
And with us right now is Pastor McClure.
And also, I believe we have his lawyer, Bob Tyler, if I'm not mistaken.
Mike, great to see you.
Great to see both of you.
Thank you for joining us.
Pastor, let's start with you.
So what happened last Friday?
California OSHA showed up to your elementary school and high school.
And what did they do and what did they want?
Well, thanks, first of all, Charlie, just for what you do and for having me on your show today.
OSHA showed up last week and they gave, they went and got a restraining order after I let him in, telling him they need to call our lawyer.
And they came back with a restraining order and they are wanting to find out all of our health measures, not just the physical H1, typical OSHA stuff, which is fine with me.
But now it's, are the kids doing what they're supposed to do?
Are they social distancing, wearing masks?
What's your policy for vaccines?
And so they are now more or less, in my mind, being weaponized by the county to do what the county couldn't do.
And so this is the California branch of OSHA.
So Bob Tyler, who does a phenomenal job, I want to bring you into this, and you're representing this church.
So we're told that the vaccine mandates from OSHA have been stayed on a federal level.
The vaccine mandate has been shot down in the Senate, and that doesn't mean it's been put into policy yet.
But now we're seeing the California OSHA, which is supposed to be the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
It's more like the occupational safety and health authoritarianism.
Bob, what is going on here?
And this seems to be a direct threat on religious liberty and for the church to be able to worship.
It certainly is.
And thanks, Charlie.
You know, it is, I want to use the right word here.
Mike called it a restraining order.
It's actually a warrant.
They got a warrant from the court to come investigate and interrogate the employees.
It's just unprecedented to have a church that is in the crosshairs, frankly, to this degree of the giant bureaucracy of the Santa Clara County, the state of California, and as Mike said, the weapon that they're using, OSHA.
And we're finding that not only here, but they're going against churches and Christian schools throughout the state with OSHA.
I've had numerous churches and schools, Christian schools that have called me with regard to OSHA sending them letters, as well as the state licensing board for preschools and other county health officials.
So they're not relenting here in California.
And, you know, this is, it's almost like I picture Mike as being that young Chinese student who stood in front of the tanks in Tiananmen Square.
We have to put a stop to this here in California.
Oh, I mean, to say the least, and Mike, you deserve so much credit.
You've kept your church open.
You have accrued 3.8 million fine and dollars in fines against the county.
And just for our national listeners, Calvary Chapel, San Jose is right near the big tech kind of enterprise.
It's right in the belly of the beast, if you will.
So, Bob, I want to ask you, so what right does California OSHA have to show up to an elementary school or high school?
They're mostly supposed to look at job sites and, you know, kind of if there's something that has huge occupational risk, what is the precedent for this?
And it seems so similar to what the federal government is threatening to do with OSHA nationwide.
Yeah, it absolutely is.
And they're coming in under the guise of employee safety, that there are teachers who are employed by the school.
And this is going to be a significant religious liberty issue as well.
There is a doctrine of church autonomy that says, hey, the government has to stay out of schools.
It has to stay out of the relationship between the, excuse me, they have to stay out of church schools, that is, and stay out of churches itself.
Now, when you have employees who are working for a church, there is going to be an argument that we're going to raise that says you don't have the right to interfere in the relationship between the church and its ministers.
And these teachers are ministers.
So, Mike, just to give the audience a picture, you've kept the church open.
And because of that, you have now been subject to this Gestapo agent of inspecting prayer meetings.
You guys are in continued litigation.
And so there's $3.8 million in fines.
I want to emphasize that for the audience.
$3.8 million in fines for the ability to have church.
This is not in Cuba.
This is not North Korea.
This is in San Jose.
And so when people say, oh, Charlie, when is tyranny going to come here?
Oh, it's here.
And then not to mention $100,000 against you personally, Mike.
Mike, talk to us how you've held the line because there's a cost for you to fight for liberty and you're a hero for that.
Talk a little bit about it.
Well, first of all, I mean, look how old I look.
I'm only 29 years old.
You know, I think you got to have that perspective of you're living in a time, just like it says in 2 Timothy chapter 3.
You know, Paul says there's going to be perilous times.
And he goes on and talks about our culture today.
Man, there are lovers of themselves.
And you just see the pervasiveness of wickedness in our culture that's now being accepted as morality and celebrated.
And everything that's right, everything that God ordained as true and wholesome is now under attack.
And so Paul says in 2 Timothy 3 that if you're going to live godly, this is one of those promises that we don't like to have in our promise books, but if you're going to live godly in Christ Jesus, you will suffer persecution.
And so I think as Christians, we have to count the cost today.
If we're going to hold on to our jobs and we're trying to hold on to our nice American dream and this life that we think we're going to get again, it's not going to come back.
We're wrong.
We have to stand.
And I really believe God wants us to occupy until he comes.
And what's unique about our country is that we are the people, the government.
We have to stand for right and true.
And the problem with pastors, I think, in my mind, is that they're just hoping this will go away and things will come back to normal.
And they don't want to get caught in the fray, but they need to stand up.
And by doing it, yeah, you have had a lot of, you know, loss, threats, and persecution.
But what we also have had is over 500 people baptized.
We had, I mean, hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of people coming to church.
Our church has quadrupled.
I mean, it's probably over 3,000 people now.
When we started this, we were five.
And this isn't something I thought would happen.
I was expecting people to leave, but they're all looking for a voice like yours.
They're looking for someone to stand up and represent them because they're not getting in these politicians.
These are our times in which we need to stand because if we don't, America's gone.
And I think people don't understand the true effect that America has on the world.
Think about the missionaries in the past.
Think about what America used to be.
Now, I don't know if we'll ever get back to that, but I do believe it's the pastor's responsibility to bring the gospel and to be shepherds.
And a shepherd is to lay down his life for the sheep.
And today, what we have is hirelings.
We have people who are just taking a job and they're living Christianity, you know, very much like the church of Laodicea in a lukewarm manner.
And God says, I want you to be hot or cold, but don't be lukewarm.
And I think it's where God's saying, look, stand up, regardless of the persecution and the consequences, do what's right.
And I believe God will bless you.
Well, I just want to say it's so inspiring to hear that because that's what being American is all about.
And that's what that was, that's what courage is.
Courage is so rare.
Courage is doing the right thing when you do not know how it's going to end up.
That's what courage is.
And I just want to go through some of these numbers.
And Bob, you could add some context to this, which is $100,000 of you personally, pastor.
In excess.
Yeah.
Personally.
$100,000 contempt fines personally.
$3.8 million in fines levied against the church.
They have gone into prayer meetings.
And again, they always say separation of church and state.
That's what they always say.
Well, why don't you keep the state out of the church then?
You see, why don't you keep the government out of the church?
They've never actually believed that.
And they have threatened the county council, James Williams, has threatened the church's mortgage holder because you guys open your church.
They've demanded the discovery of the names of your members, your volunteers and donors, and financial records.
So far, there's been 2,700 hours of attorney hours defending Calvary Chapel, San Jose.
And if Calvary Chapel, San Jose, had to pay that, if it wasn't for Bob Tyler's amazing organization, it would be well over a million dollars in fees to date.
Bob, what am I missing?
You know what?
The only thing you're missing out of that story is the goodness of God when you hear a young couple who were a young woman from Russia who came to church when Mike was defying the orders.
And she said, I've been looking for a church.
And she comes to Mike and says, I was talking to my mom this morning in Moscow.
And she said, our churches have been open this whole time.
And she said, it sounds like California is more communist than we are here in Russia.
It's shocking.
But thanks to Mike and, you know, the goodness of God that we have seen people come to the Lord and people probably avoided suicide over and over again thanks to what Mike's been doing in this dark part of California.
It's a small price to pay.
The website, if you guys, so Bob Taylor, Tyler, can you say what website you guys are, which is the legal defense, and then I'll give Mike's website.
Sure, it's www.faith-freedom.com.
That's faith, F-A-I-T-H-Freedom.com.
You guys done an amazing job.
And then, Mike, it's calvarysj.org.
I've spoken there a couple times.
You guys opened up your church for us when we came and spoke and we did our turning point USA event.
But I just want to end with this, that we have a landscape right now where people want to sit idly by and they hope that the storm ends.
Mike, you have gone right into the fire.
And I want every listener to help you guys out, to pressure the city council to lay off the church, to say that this is a red line for religious liberty, and we're not going to put up with this.
We need to flood the supervisors' offices and emails and say, leave the church alone.
They are winning souls.
They're doing the right thing.
You do not need to bring OSHA in to go interrogate employees or to levy millions of dollars of fines.
Mike, we have your back 100%.
And thank you so much, both of you, for joining us today.
Thanks, Charlie.
Thank you so much, Charlie.
Thank you, Bob.
God bless you guys.
God bless you.
Such an important story.
Again, that's calvarysj.org.
And I just want to emphasize this one more time: that fighters are hard to come by.
They will come into every church, everybody, if we do not stop them showing up to prayer meetings, asking for people's vaccination status.
Faith-freedom.org.
As we celebrate the Christmas season, we often pause to consider our many blessings.
Hillsdale College wishes to thank you for standing with them as they celebrate over 177 years of blessings.
Since 1844, the Beacon of the North, the last college, Hillsdale College, has held fast to its mission to provide the kind of education essential to preserving free government.
And for decades, the college has extended its educational mission on behalf of liberty through a variety of outreach programs.
Perhaps you receive in Primus for every month, or you've taken one of Hillsdale's excellent online courses or attended one of Hillsdale's free regional events.
You know of Hillsdale's refusal to take even one penny of government money.
This independence allows the college to focus on promoting its core purpose, learning, character, faith, and freedom without government interference.
At no time in our nation's history has there been a greater need for this kind of classical liberal arts education that Hillsdale offers on its campuses and nationwide.
So during this season of blessings, Hillsdale thanks you for partnership in extending its mission to the country.
To learn more about Hillsdale College and take their online courses, the Aristotle course, the Winston Churchill course, the Dying Citizen course, which I'm about to wrap up with Victor Davis-Hansen.
It's incredible.
Check it out.
New Victor Davis-Hansen course.
Go to charlieforhillsdale.com.
For parents out there, require your children to take at least one Hillsdale course before they get any Christmas gifts.
You see, I'm a very big fan of parents withholding good things unless kids do the necessary things.
Kids shouldn't just get Christmas gifts because they exist.
They should get Christmas gifts because they've earned them.
And by earning them, they need to take Hillsdale online courses to learn about Western civilization, learn about God, learn about Genesis, the book of Genesis, the Constitution, and more.
Charlie4Hillsdale.com, Charlie F-O-R-Hillsdale.com.
This is hard to even process.
You have California OSHA coming in with a warrant to interrogate parents, not parents, teachers of an elementary and a high school, not to mention the $3.3 plus million dollars in fines associated with that.
There's so many stories that I want to hit here.
Vaccines vs Flat Earthers 00:04:39
I do want to re-emphasize something I said that was very interesting yesterday.
And it's largely symbolic, but it's important.
The Senate votes to block Biden's vaccine or test mandate.
And John Tester and Joe Manchin both agreed that we should not force it.
Mike Braun, who we've been, what did you say, pretty critical of on this show, Connor?
We kind of gloves were off a little bit.
He said, getting vaccinated should be a decision between an individual and his or her doctor.
It shouldn't be up to any politician, especially in a mandate coming down from that highest authority, the president.
Senator Braun, you're exactly right.
I'm pleased.
I'm actually surprised.
I'll be very honest, that establishment Republicans all voted together against the vaccine mandate.
I will say that was a good step in the right direction.
And that's rare, by the way.
Not every country has an opposition party that actually voted together that says, no, we're not going to mandate the vaccine.
What does Chuck Schumer say?
He says, these are anti-vaxes.
They're all anti-vaxes.
Comparing those of us that don't want to take the vaccine to flat earthers.
I would love, again, it's an open invitation.
Do you notice no one ever takes me up on this?
I would love any pro-vaccine person to come on this show and just answer questions.
It's not a debate.
It's not a debate.
It's answering questions.
Why is Israel have to go through their fourth booster shot now?
Why is some of the highest COVID transmission rate countries the most vaccinated ones?
How did Uttar Pradesh, with a heavy dose of ivermectin and other anti-malarials, turn the corner when it came to COVID?
Why is Florida have some of the lowest COVID transmission rates in the country?
Why can't we talk about natural immunity or monoclonal?
What percentage of the country has natural immunity?
Why is it that in the United Kingdom, people under the age of 60, twice as many vaccinated are dying than unvaccinated?
Do they have any answers to these things?
No, Chuck Schumer just goes on a massive smear operation comparing us to flat earthers.
Play Cut 71.
Some of the anti-vaxxers here in this chamber remind me of what happened 400 years ago when people were clinging to the fact that the sun revolved around the earth.
They just didn't believe science.
Or 300 years ago when they were sure, or 500 years ago, when they were sure the earth was flat.
It's just like that.
The science is here.
Well, first of all, if you actually read your Bible or your Torah, Chuck Schumer, you would realize that a spherical earth is actually in the Old Testament.
But I'm not going to get into that right now.
You would also understand that the spherical earth was actually first theorized by either Pythagoras or Euclid or one of the old Greek mathematicians.
I'm actually taking a wonderful math class with Hillsdale right now.
I never liked math growing up.
It is the best math class because it's not like let's do equations.
It's what is logic?
Where did geometry come from?
How does it apply?
It's phenomenal.

No, but the point is Chuck Schumer says, and he doesn't even know the term heliocentric theory.
Instead, he's saying that if you do not want to mandate a vaccine, you're somehow rejecting Galileo.
That if you dare say that the vaccine might have adverse events, like the vaccine adverse event reporting system, if you dare say that people might have still get the virus after getting the vaccine, he will smear you saying that the earth is still flat.
It's an open invite.
I got about 600 questions for any pro-vaccine person from FISA, AstraZeneca, Moderna, Johnson Johnson.
You guys are more than welcome on this show.
Why did they change the definition of a vaccine?
If the vaccine works so well, why do we need continued booster shots?
If the vaccine works so well, why do we need to keep on having mask mandates?
Why do we need to vaccinate children against a virus that doesn't even pose a significant threat against them in the first place?
Are we not allowed to ask those things?
Are those thought crimes?
Yeah, well, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.
We actually say things that are true.
Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
