Just confirmed, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Fry are under federal criminal investigation by the Trump Justice Department for allegedly obstructing federal immigration enforcement.
That's according to two sources familiar with the matter.
Fry's office tells us they've heard rumors, but have not received formal notice from DOJ on the matter.
Just minutes ago, Governor Walls released this statement, quote, two days ago, it was Elisa Slotkin.
Last week, it was Jerome Powell.
Before that, Mark Kelly.
Weaponizing the justice system and threatening political opponents is a dangerous authoritarian tactic.
The only person not being investigated for the shooting of Renee Goode is the federal agent who shot her.
Michael, details are pretty thin at this moment, but we do understand that grand jury subpoenas are being prepared if they haven't been issued already, although it's not clear that anyone has been served with those subpoenas.
We understand that this is an investigation being run out of the U.S. Attorney's Office in Minneapolis, and that one of the statutes they're looking at is U.S.C. 372, which makes it a crime to impede or assault an officer.
And it's connected to, it appears to be connected to statements that the governor and the mayor have made encouraging people to exercise their rights, essentially, when it comes to immigration enforcement and the activities of ICE in the state.
And a lot of people, as you just said, are going to see this as a weaponization of the Justice Department against political opponents.
These are both Democrats, obviously, the mayor and the governor.
But nonetheless, this investigation is proceeding, and we'll just have to see where it goes from here.
You know, Simone was quoting James Baldwin a few minutes ago.
And when I pulled up to the Minnesota State Capitol building in St. Paul this morning, I noticed the street signs in the ring road around the Capitol is Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard.
And I thought to myself, what would Dr. King think right now?
What would he say right now?
What would he call us to do in this moment?
And Mayor Herr, who we heard from today, is the embodiment of Dr. King's dream.
And we see the Trump administration explicitly targeting people across this country based on their race, the Supreme Court of the United States sanctioning it.
It is disgusting and it is un-American and it has to stop.
unidentified
An imperfect precedent, which is what happened in 2020, which I think is very instructive and I think probably underrecognized.
You know, in 2020, we had George Floyd killed by law enforcement in the city of Minneapolis.
And what we also saw was we saw Donald Trump step up and for really the first time as president, try and enforce his will, try and be the iron fist that he's always wanted to be in that city, in particular and elsewhere.
unidentified
He eventually went on and said that Tim Walz did a good job in 2020, which people I think may forget.
But yeah, I mean, what we're seeing here really is, can be distilled to four words, which is, how dare you object?
All of this is downstream from Donald Trump and his cronies and his allies feeling as though it is improper for anyone to say you shouldn't do these things.
ICE sweeping into Minneapolis if you are protesting them, how dare you do that?
If you are saying Donald Trump, you can't invoke the Insurrection Act, how dare you?
I get to do what I want as president.
All of that, I think, has its birth in 2020, probably before that in his presidency.
I mean, we heard all his reports in 2020, how he wanted to have the protesters be confronted by soldiers, how he got rid of Mark Esper because Mark Esper wouldn't invoke the Insurrection Act.
All of that is leading to this moment where he's very eager to move forward.
This was foreseeable, but it doesn't mean that we're helpless at this point.
I mean, there are ways to discourage or keep the president from invoking the Insurrection Act, which I think he will do.
And I'll tell you quickly why I think he will do it.
I had a conversation with Stephen Miller about this at the end of my time in the first term on the second floor of the West Wing of the White House, where he basically intimated that they would try to do things like this as fast as humanly possible to run them up to the Supreme Court so they would know what the boundaries of the Supreme Court's tolerance for executive power would be.
And so, if Donald Trump is going to do it, if he's going to invoke the Insurrection Act, that's this year.
It's going to happen in 2026 if it's going to happen at all.
And that's why I think they're trending towards it.
And you saw Stephen Miller in the past couple of days frequently referencing the term insurrection.
And I think President Trump's getting very close to a Kent State moment, which if you go back to May of 1970, this was the Ohio National Guard that ended up shooting four protesters and killing them at Kent State during the Vietnam protests.
But it was one of the things that led to Richard Nixon's deteriorating popularity and his exit from office.
So I think that we're getting closer to one of those.
If this is not that moment, we're moving in that direction where this is going to ultimately redound to hurt the president.
And the claims that he's making about the violence on the part of protesters is actually twisted and turned entirely around.
It's Saturday, 17 January in the year of our Lord, 2026.
Welcome for our Saturday Show, which is my, as you know, my favorite show of the week.
We're absolutely packed today.
We're going to be talking about artificial intelligence, chip design, how does China get the chips?
We're going to be obviously focused on Canada.
Big story in the Daily Mail last night by Charlie Spearing, Charlie, formerly at Breitbart now at the Daily Mail, about my calling Canada potentially the next Ukraine, what President Trump's got to do about it.
We're going to go to Arizona, talk about politics out there in Florida about this Insurrection Act and support what Governor DeSantis is trying to accomplish with his support of ICE.
But I want to start with this insurrection and also correct the individual there.
They had so many false statements.
This is why we play the cold open is to get your juices flowing in the morning, get your blood up of all the nonsense and lies and misrepresentations that the mainstream media, the corporate media, particularly MSNBC, CNN, New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, try to spin against the president.
The Kent State situation was in May of 1970.
Yo, dude, Nixon won a landslide after that.
And one of the reasons was he was dropping the hammer on the protesters and trying to prosecute the Vietnam War at the same time.
I want to introduce our first guest.
I want to talk about Insurrection Act.
Stuart Rhodes joins us.
Stuart, first off, they say President Trump's trying to lay the legal groundwork.
Talk to me.
What are your thoughts on what broke overnight?
of the criminal investigation into Mayor Fry in Minneapolis and Governor Waltz of Minnesota, sir.
But I believe President Trump must channel his inner Lincoln and use the Insurrection Act now to defeat the deep state and defeat the ongoing coup that's been going on since 2016.
We saw it in 2020.
In fact, in 2020, I wrote open letters to President Trump in November, December, and January of 2020, urging him to invoke the Insurrection Act and to take down this Marxist coup that's across our country.
And so he needs to do this.
And he needs to do it because this is what it takes.
This is why the Insurrection Act exists.
Lincoln did it in the Civil War.
Jefferson signed it into law and used it himself.
Grant used it to put down the KKK.
JFK used it to desegregate schools.
Eisenhower used it in Little Rock, Arkansas.
In fact, that's the most direct parallel is what President Eisenhower did when the governor of Arkansas called up his National Guard and deployed them to block the black students from coming in to go to school.
Eisenhower nationalized the National Guard of Arkansas and then he deployed the 101st Airborne to put a stamp on it, a thousand paratroopers in the streets to escort the kids.
And it was actually safer for everyone because after that, no one wants to dance with the 101st Airborne and the National Guardsmen.
We're not going to go against direct orders of the President of the United States as their commander in chief.
I think President Trump should follow Eisenhower's example exactly and do exactly the same thing.
I mean, look at they were burning down police precincts in Portland, Oregon.
They tried to burn down their federal courthouse with U.S. marshals inside.
Across the country, in Las Vegas, you had insurrectionists shooting at or trying to shoot at court security at federal courthouses and they were killed.
You had another attack on a federal courthouse where an officer was killed in California.
So across the country, you had direct violation of federal law, direct armed insurrection against federal law being enforced, and also terrorism against the American people.
So the Insurrection Act is very clear that whenever the president himself determines that, like I'll read it to you right here, Section 332 of the Insurrection Act, this is 10 U.S. Code, Section 331-332.
Whenever the President considers that unlawful obstructions, combinations, or assemblages Privileges or rebellion against the authority of the United States make it impracticable to enforce the laws of the United States in any state by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings.
That's what we have.
He may call into federal service such of the militia of any state and use such of the armed forces as he considers necessary to enforce those laws or to suppress the rebellion.
And section 333 continues: interference with state and federal law.
The president, by using the militia or the armed forces or both, or by any other means, shall take such measures as he considers necessary to suppress in a state any insurrection, domestic violence, unlawful combination, or conspiracy.
If it one, so hinders the execution of laws of that state and of the United States within the state that any part or class of its people is deprived of a right, privilege, immunity, or protection named in the Constitution and secured by law.
And the constituted authorities of that state are unable, fail, or refuse to protect that right, privilege, or immunity or to give that protection.
We had that in 2020.
You had stand-own orders being given to police officers across the country.
My organization, Oath Keepers and Proud Boys, were out there in the streets doing the best they could to protect people because police chiefs were given orders to stand down right after Trump came into office and allowed Antifa to rage across the country and beat Trump supporters from 2017 on.
So thousands of times across the country, we had to step up and protect Trump supporters because there was a vacuum when the police were standing down, obeying illegal and unconstitutional orders.
So President Trump should have invoked the Insurrection Act in 2020 for all of those reasons to protect the rights of the American people.
And he should do it now.
The American people have the right not to be raped and murdered by illegal aliens who've been flooding into our country by design, pursuant to a conspiracy to destroy this country.
Tens of millions of illegal aliens, violent illegal aliens, have come into our country with the Democrats' blessings for the purposes of destroying this country and giving them a permanent lock on power through illegitimate illegal votes.
That's exactly what's happening.
And so it's not just about what's going on in the streets of Minnesota.
It's what's going on in the halls of Congress.
It's what's going on in our courts.
You have complicit communist judges who do the best they can to rubber stamp whatever the left wants to do and then block anything President Trump wants to do.
Stuart, hang on, I'm going to hold you through the break.
Stuart Rhodes is with us, a discussion of the criminal investigations of Mayor Fry, Governor Waltz, and the invocation of the Insurrection Act.
A lot of people around President Trump said, we got to go, we got to go now.
Different than 2020 when he had Millie and Esper.
Remember, Millie and Esper left Lafayette Park, went back to the Pentagon, and they admitted in their memoirs where they called each other and said, no, we have to block Trump.
We have to make a pact to block Trump, which is, I believe, Millie ought to be recalled to active duty even before Mark Kelly put on a court martial.
Short commercial break.
We're going to have Chris Tomlinson, formerly a Breitbart, now over at National Pulse, and Brian Kennedy join us later for a discussion of Mark Carney, his kowtow to the Chinese Communist Party in Beijing, and specifically what he said about working with the Chinese on their currency, the bolster their currency as a world currency.
Canada is now joined the BRICS Nations, and Kearney is one of the leaders in this.
We'll break it all down for you.
Find out the impact of that.
BirchGold.com promo code banning end of the dollar empire four years started publishing it back in what 2020 2021 when gold was a thousand bucks it's now approaching five thousand find out why Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
Stuart, you made a case that we had a nationwide revolt in 2020, right?
Violence and police officers all over the place, country out of control.
President Trump wanted to invoke the Insurrection Act, talked out of it, Esper millied that entire crowd, fought him tooth and nail.
Now you're seeing that they're trying to block any type of, but forget mass deportations, any type of deportations of the bad owners, the criminal element.
Is it weakened President Trump's case that he did not invoke it in 2020 in the process of invoking it today?
What he can say is now he's learned that he was being given bad advice.
He had Bill Barr, an inside poison pill inside of his administration advising him not to do what he had the authority to do and the duty to do.
So he should just go back and look at what Eisenhower did.
And the reason why I bring that up is because you've got Tim Walz, the governor of Minnesota, putting a warning order out to his National Guard to be ready to obey his commands, emphasizing they are our National Guard.
He's on the cusp of doing what happened in Little Lock, Arkansas, where you had a state governor calling forth his National Guard to block federal law enforcement.
And so I think President Trump should just preempt it, just nationalize the Minnesota National Guard, remove that piece from the chessboard, put them under his command.
And I believe he should do what Eisenhower did.
He should call forth the 101st Airborne.
They're still there.
They still exist.
Bring them in.
It makes it much tougher to argue against that.
He's doing exactly the same thing Eisenhower did to enforce federal law.
And Eisenhower said, I'm doing this to enforce the supremacy clause, that laws passed by the United States and the rulings of the Supreme Court, Brown versus Board of Education, to desegregate the schools, that has primacy over states.
States can't block federal law.
That's what we're seeing now is a repeat of what was done in the South trying to carry on discrimination.
It's the same thing now.
You have states trying to use their powers to block federal law enforcement of obviously constitutional immigration laws.
And we all know why.
It's because they're trying to destroy our country with massive importation of foreigners, just like what's done in Europe.
It's meant to replace the American people with someone they think is more pliable who will vote Democrat and give them a permanent lock on power.
That's why in combination with voking the Insurrection Act, I've always said he should also do a mass declassification.
He should take Tulsi Gabbard and Pete Hagseff and have them go take over with the military, military intelligence, taking over the CIA, FBI, NSA buildings, and declassify anything that's not legitimate national security and expose the dirt that the intelligence agencies use to control politicians and judges.
And he should start with the corrupt judges, because if he does not clean out the corrupt judges, they're going to start issuing injunctions against him and trying to block him.
And if they do that, he should be like Jackson and say, well, they made their ruling.
Let's see them enforce it.
But I believe he should use disclosure, declassification and disclosure and exposure is what they fear the most.
So they fear his absolute authority.
No one can stop him.
He can declassify anything.
He can go dump out all the dirt, all the skeletons out of the closet across the country and expose the deep state once and for all, not just on the streets of Minnesota, but in the halls of Congress, in our federal judiciary, on Wall Street, in our banking system, and take it down.
The American people, this is what Trump is.
Our house is being flooded with sewage.
It's backed up.
It's flooding from the basement, filled the basement, flooding the kitchen.
And Trump is the plumber that we called in three times now.
He won all three elections to fix it.
We don't care about his plumber's crack.
We don't care about mean tweets.
We just want him to fix it.
He needs to fix it.
The only way to fix it, the tools in his hands as the plumber is the Insurrection Act and mass declassification and exposure to bring down the corruption across the country at every level.
If he does not do that, then we, the people, are going to get pissed off.
We're going to wind up having, if he leaves office without fixing it, we'll have to grab pickaxes and shovels and sledgehammers and start knocking holes in the foundation to drain the swamp.
He has to do it himself first.
That's why he's there.
That's why he was saved by God and Butler.
It was to save the Republic, to be a Lincoln, to be a Teddy Roosevelt, to be a George Washington and save this constitutional republic.
If he does not do it, we'll be thrown back into the territory the founders were in, where they had to exercise their rights to alter or abolish any form of government that becomes destructive of the ends of liberty.
I also have a new website for oath keepers, oathkeepers.info.
If you want to support our work, you can go to givesendgo.com forward slash oath.
I'm here with Ivan Reiklin.
We are working on concrete advice for the president.
We're going to be issuing white papers for him publicly within the next few days that we hope we'll get to him that he can use to actually do what he has to do to save the country.
Okay, so there in, you've got the case laid out for Minneapolis and Minnesota.
President Starter has commenced, the Justice Department has commenced criminal investigations of Fry and Waltz, Governor Waltz, who I think is even worse than Fry in this case, and Fry is terrible.
So what about a governor that's doing it right?
What about a governor that's gone out of his way to say, hey, look, this ain't going to happen in this state.
It's going to happen.
That's what happens in Minnesota, but it's not going to happen in Florida.
That would be Governor DeSantis.
Now, the question is, does that what Governor Santis, these proclamations and his effort and his work to make sure he see how his state works appropriately to clean out this mess of this illegal alien invasion?
Does it get down to the deck plates?
Bridget Ziegler joins us about Sarasota Public Schools.
What's going to happen on Tuesday?
I thought Governor DeSantis is on top of this.
His administration is on top of this.
Don't tell me we have any questions or there's miscommunication down to the deck plates of the school system about cooperating with ICE in these situations, ma'am.
I think Governor DeSantis has done an incredible job in the AG and as well as our president, but it does matter what happens at the local level.
We have a very liberal activist school board member who just spearheaded or headlined an anti-ICE rally last week.
And their goal of the progressives is to utilize this issue of enforcing lawful immigration, which is what this country voted overwhelmingly for, to use it to incite violence or also to incite the polarization.
And so, what he did is headline this rally to question whether or not the processes that we have in place to oblige by the law and enforce the lawful orders of working with all law enforcement agencies to fearmonger and create questions.
As such, as a responsibility, I think it's important that we send a very clear message to our community that we do follow the law, that we will work with all law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and campuses.
I think progressives look at this as an opportunity to really polarize, and we have to stop them down in their tracks because we don't need them.
We don't need them using that kind of incitement to empower the activists anywhere, whether it be any local government or inside schools.
You know, you've got a great MAGA base down there.
I'm not so sure about some of the leadership in the GOP, but what's going to happen?
You're going to force a vote on Tuesday to make sure that the school board is on board for this, that there's no ifs, ands, and buts, no excuses if anything happens.
So, I have put forward a resolution that cites that we reaffirm our commitment to working with all law enforcement agencies and that we will hold accountable school board members and any member of staff that seeks to impede or interfere with that action, which is the law.
I think it's a very easy common sense vote.
It should be a 5-0.
It is, again, we have a split board, even though we're overwhelmingly conservative county.
Trump won overwhelmingly, but we have a 3-2 majority conservative and a very activist, progressive group, but then a very weak leadership when it comes to our Republican Party.
I will say that I'm very disappointed in our local chairman.
He has done nothing.
They've been absolutely silent on this issue, which is a national, state, and local issue, as you noted.
The Democrats immediately mobilized and already put protests in place.
And again, our local party chairman has been silent.
But he's one of those, I think, is important to note, Steve.
Our chairman is one of those that has really hates MAGA.
He feels very threatened by them.
And as we saw in some other areas of the country and state, he pushed out all of the America First Patriots and anyone who is for MAGA because he wanted to protect his position.
He felt threatened.
And right now, this is where we need our local parties to step up.
And that's why your precinct program is so essential, where it really allows us to make sure every corner of our country, of our communities, are activated because this is not a cycle, election cycle thing.
This is something we have to be focusing on every single day in perpetuity to save our country.
The local papers is always picking up, and they're going to make this a national situation and try to undercut Governor DeSantis and what he's trying to do to make sure that the state government and the local government are working with ICE and not devolve into a situation like Minneapolis, particularly in pockets of progressivism in Florida.
Of course, you guys aren't, but that's how these activists work.
Well, first and foremost, it is to make very clear that we're not talking about people raiding schools.
We're making sure that we are going to be working with law enforcement to ensure safe collaboration, to ensure safety and the least amount of disruption.
They want to incite fear and say people are going to come in with guns and steal your kids.
Not going to happen.
People need to go and you can go to my page at Bridget A. Ziglar on Twitter, or you can watch the debate on Facebook.
But we need people to, one, they should look at this resolution and look at adopting it at their local community and reach out to their local school board members to say that this is something we need to be focused on to say, ensure the safety and make sure that we're abiding by those laws.
It seems to me that if we start with the president's main premise, which is that 25 million people came over the border during the Biden administration, now it's a big number, 25 million illegal aliens in what we've called here on the war room an invasion.
Right now, it looks like maybe 2 million have deported.
And it looks like maybe in 2025, about 200 to 300,000 were arrested by ICE and maybe deported.
That leaves, let's round it up to 3 million.
There's still 22 million people left in the country.
Now, we have 22,000 ICE agents.
And so people look at all this and they think, are 22,000 ICE agents going to deport 22 million people over the next three years?
Are we throwing enough resources at this problem?
Are we fundamentally going to get rid of 22 million people?
You've been saying for the last few weeks they all have to go.
And I agree 1,000%.
And as I go around the country, everyone thinks that they all have to go.
Are we therefore deporting them at a pace that will get that done?
And if we're not, you might look at, you know, Governor Waltz and the mayor of Minneapolis and think they don't think he's serious, President Trump.
He's probably not going to get it done.
And so we're going to do everything in our power to stall.
And the left in America is looking at this and they're thinking, we just have to buy time here.
And if they deport a few million more people in the next three years, we're still going to have 20 million people that when the Democrats take power and they will take power again someday, they're going to turn those people into citizens.
The political will to get this done is right now.
It was 2025.
It's 2026.
People will want to see this done.
It's not like the president doesn't believe this.
It's not like Stephen Miller doesn't believe this.
Tom Homan is a national hero.
They don't have the resources to get it done.
They need to find those resources right now.
They need to come up with a scheme and show to the American people how in an orderly way they're going to get rid of, deport 22 million people in the next three years.
It is management and logistics, but we have to address a very unpleasant topic.
If you're going to do it at scale, if you're actually going to go and the Axios piece that kind of got this all rolling with Mark Caputo and a couple of guys at Axis, which looked like it was pretty well sourced because I didn't see a lot of pushback from the White House, they kind of put you in the Oval Office.
And President Trump would repeat, I want mass deportations.
He doesn't like the optics he's seeing in Minneapolis, but he wants mass deportations.
To get to mass deportations, we have to scale.
If you scale it, you have to go to where the central beating part of the problem is.
The beating heart of the problem is the employment.
The bad ombres are terrible.
Don't get me wrong.
The Latin Kings and Trende Aragre, everybody that's coming, all the cartels, all of it, that's got to go, obviously.
But the heart of the 25 million is because they found opportunities here because corporate America and the Chamber of Commerce wanted to drive down wages.
Don't you have to know, if you don't do E-Verify, which the House, the Congress will never pass, don't you have to start going to these distribution centers, these companies, and start arresting CEOs?
You got to perpwork a couple of CEOs to get the joke in the 2 million, the two or 2.2 million that self-deport deported.
Once you do that, you know, kind of a Sarbanes-Oxley on which now, you know, CFOs and CEOs have to sign the financial statements under criminal penalty.
You start doing that, Brian Kennedy.
Aren't you going to get some people's attention and they're going to start getting rid of the illegal aliens that they have illegally on their payrolls, sir?
But let me also say, there's a gray economy in this country or shadow economy, however you want to phrase it.
And a lot of these 22 million that are left, they're part of that gray economy.
I think they operate outside the bounds of much of what we think of as corporate America.
I don't think many of them are working for Amazon or Walmart, for instance.
Some may be.
And we should certainly stop that with E-Verify or some other system.
But they find ways and very creative, you know, very creative people when need be to find employment to create their own economies here in this country.
So it seems to me you have to look first and foremost.
Biden sent these people all over the country.
Most of them are on record somewhere, somehow.
We need the records of the last four years of Biden.
We know for a fact that they put them in some form of record.
They move them to some state, and most of them receive some form of public assistance.
Almost all of them received some form of public assistance.
That's one of the reasons they were here.
Well, we have records in those Biden years of who were the new people that received public assistance.
You said your concern was if we don't take care of it now, then once the Democrats get my power, they're going to do amnesty.
My point's a little more primal.
If we don't do it now, they're the key sources you've seen to putting the Democrats back in power.
You've seen this.
This is the Mamdani in New York City.
This is the business model of the Democratic Party: they have all these asylum seekers, refugees, whatever you want to call them, illegal aliens that came through on the Biden watch, the 25 million.
And not only are they on public assistance, they're also voting.
They're also, this is the muscle they've got to steal these elections and to basically return to power.
If you got this, you look at the census and all the census data, we're going to pick up seats in the House.
I think we'd pick up if we had done the census right the first time.
I think it's 12 to 15 seats in the House we would have right now.
So we've got to do it now.
If we wait, they're guaranteed to get back in power one day.
But also, we're going to have to have a new system of how we vote in 2026.
This is the other shoe to drop, Steve, that we'll be talking about, I think, in the next few months.
How can we have a system of voting, both with electronic voting machines, which we know are not secure, and also in the blue states that are in many of them open rebellion against the union?
How can we trust that in 2026, they're going to have fair elections?
Can you count on today Minnesota or Illinois or New York or California having fair elections?
No way.
Given their disposition toward illegal aliens and their ideas that these people deserve representation.
I used to do ethics bowl with 20 colleges and we'd study the ethics of these CEOs.
And they all have ethical statements.
Every firm has an ethical statement.
We strive for the highest good.
And some of these guys were my friends.
I said, what is the highest good?
I said, I'm not familiar with that.
Is it the Sermon on the Mount that you give coats out on the street?
And they're like, no.
And I said, what is it?
And so they do have, like you're saying, they have stuff in print that says we follow the highest ethical standards.
One of those would be following the law of the land.
And so I think they may be on the hook, as you're saying.
And Homan came out, I think, yesterday and said, we're going to make these illegals famous, right?
For all of us, if anyone gets in the hot spot, TSA has no fly lists.
The government has the lists, right?
There's no doubt about that.
They got lists on all the legal folks that work hard for a living every day.
And if they don't like what you're doing, you're in the hot seat.
But why are the illegals not on these lists?
You know, Brian was talking about.
And we need to get enough resources, like Brian is saying, into their hands because it's obvious when they're backing up, when the thugs throw in Coke bottles and rocks and denting cars and all that, when they're backing up our best ICE agents, lawful federal agents, that's a bad look.
What about when you talk about when you talk about the church?
When these investigations drill down on it, you're going to find that the same crowd that was at the border gaming the system and working with the Biden administration, they get the 25, the 25 million got in here because of a highly organized machine.
Key components of that machine are that, you know, that Lutheran group, the Catholic group, Catholic charities, there's a couple of Jewish groups.
There's a bunch of these old-line Protestants that have been taken over by progressives.
When you look at, when you add up the church, at least publicly, and who's on the line there at night, et cetera, it looks like the church, a lot of the churches have lined up against this day, Brett.
This is indeed a very important meeting and the most auspicious start to the new year and to a new era of relations between Canada and China.
We're heartened by the leadership of President Xi Jinping and the speed with which our relationship has progressed in recent months.
This sets the stage for these important discussions on a wide range of issues where we can be strategic partners.
From energy to agriculture, to people-to-people ties to multilateralism to issues on security.
And we believe that the spirit and the substance of these discussions and these agreements will provide great benefit to each of our peoples, but also provide an example to the world of cooperation amidst a time globally of division and disorder.
Yeah, this is a massive development really for Canada, the Canadian relations with China, which have been rocky for quite a few years under Justin Trudeau and now with who I call China Carney, Mark Carney, definitely changing.
And this is completely a message to the Trump administration.
It's being sold basically as agricultural deal, a green deal with China being able to send in about just under 50,000 electric vehicles to Canada per year, most of them being very, very cheap, under $35,000 Canadian, which in American money is obviously much less.
But there's much, far deeper things going on here in terms of what the message is, because the message right now to President Trump is we can always go somewhere else.
But at the same time, that also means that China is extending its sphere of influence even deeper into North America than previously.
What China is looking to do, in my opinion, is really to get a foothold in North America and Canada, much like it has in other places like in Africa.
So you have all these EVs that are going to be sold.
I think this is a big thing because a lot of Canada really doesn't have the infrastructure for EVs, especially in rural communities.
And a lot of Canada obviously is a huge country.
And so that infrastructure is going to need to be built.
And so who better to build that for Canada than the Chinese, meaning that they have an even deeper foothold within Canada itself, which they already do.
We've had multiple scandals in Canada, Chinese election influence.
The Canadian Secret Intelligence Service, our domestic and foreign intelligence service, found that they interfered in two elections in Canadian history very recently, I believe in 2021.
And so Chinese influence here is already huge.
And now I think Carney is just making it official by going to Beijing and making this deal with President Xi Jinping.
When my family came over here in the 1990s, it was an immensely different country from what it is today.
And I would say it's changed immensely in just the past four or five years because you've had under Justin Trudeau, the former prime minister, something like maybe a million student visas or close to that granted per year.
And I'd say the majority of those are Indian men who now protest the fact that a lot of them have to leave, upwards of a million of them, I believe, have to leave because their student visas have expired.
But for a lot of them, it's a path to citizenship too, because if you get your degree here, a four-year degree, you are eligible in your fifth year for either permanent residency and then eventually citizenship after that.
So for a lot of them, it's a way to be able to get to Canada.
Then you can bring over your family through family reconciliation and family reunification.
And so for a lot of them, they'll sell quite a lot of their property back in India in order to pay the exorbitant prices to some of these colleges, which, to be honest, are scams.
They're just scam colleges that are there specifically for international students in order to make a ton of money.
And this was a big scandal in Canada.
And supposedly the government's cracking down on it.
But I mean, if you look at the statistics right now, around 25% of Canadians are foreign-born.
And the only thing driving population growth in Canada is mass migration.
So the idea that that's going to stop, I think, is a bit wishful under Carney or really under anybody else at this point.
