steve bannon
This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
unidentified
Pray for our enemies.
Because we're going medieval on these people.
steve bannon
You're not going to free shot all these networks lying about the people.
unidentified
The people have had a belly full of it.
dave brat
I know you don't like hearing that.
unidentified
I know you've tried to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
It's going to happen.
jake tapper
And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
unidentified
MAGA Media.
jake tapper
I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
unidentified
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
steve bannon
If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
unidentified
War Room, here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
dave brat
Back in the War Room with Stephen K. Bannon, Dave Brat sitting in today with Todd Bensman.
Todd, you heard me going out of the show to our advertisers, etc., who are both great, right?
Birchgold and the hometidalock.com.
And the country knows about this issue, right?
Tens of millions.
New York City, high-rise, high-rent district filled up to the brim with illegals.
We don't treat our poor this good.
San Francisco, there's drugs all over the place down on the border.
There's murders.
Fentanyl has killed I don't know how many tens of thousands of people.
Everybody knows it.
But this issue, for some reason, does not get traction.
And before we get to the Kamala VP and presidential slot, why is that?
I mean, it seems just the basic facts alone, we should have 80% of people, not on any political team, but just on this side of the football and this issue and the people who are going to solve it.
Why doesn't this issue grab 70%, 80% to vote the right way?
todd bensman
Well, I'm not sure that it hasn't been noticed, especially in the last year, so much because it took a few years for the pipeline to back up and then burst all over everybody's, you know, house.
There are hundreds of thousands of immigrants in New York City and more in Chicago and Denver.
Everybody can see this now.
You don't really need the media down at the border anymore like you did in the first couple of years of it because it's everywhere now.
You can't avoid it.
I was just in Denver for non-work reasons and I'm driving around and all the Venezuelans swarmed me at the stoplight with their squeegee windshield Yeah.
kind of things. I mean, like eight or nine of them to get that kind of thing is just so in your face,
you can't look away, you can't look up, you have to look up at this. So I do think it's finally
penetrating and the polls show that this issue is now one of the one or two apex problem areas
to most American voters, more on the Republicans than on the Democrats.
dave brat
And so that's, that's great.
And there's your perfect pivot.
So Kamala Harris, leading candidate for the president on the Democrat side right now, all political views are my own.
But if you're correct that everybody sees it and knows it, and you got those clips, what does that portend?
And is this moderation of language going to work?
todd bensman
No, because she left behind a trove of material from her first presidential run about what she really thinks.
And even before that, her comments dating back to 2015 talk about, you know, no human is illegal and, you know, there's nothing criminal.
I know a criminal when I see one and illegal immigrants are not criminals.
Uh, this is, you know, endemic to her character.
I mean, this is how she, this is her belief system.
Uh, and we see this as, uh, when she was vice president in denialism, there's nothing happening at the border.
Everything's great.
Uh, you know, we're just a humane nation where, uh, the Trump administration broke the system.
You know, all of that kind of denialism.
This is all climate change related.
She will not take responsibility for policies.
And you can expect that if she does become president, she will absolutely keep that border wide open, all spigots to maximum.
And the American people need to know where she stands on this because it's a top issue politically.
dave brat
Yeah, Todd, when she was VP, you know, she was tasked with being over the border, the border czar, whatever.
Was that just honorific, you know, like VPs, you know, just whatever?
Or was there a real assignment there that should have been taken seriously?
todd bensman
There was an assignment.
She was in charge of the Root Causes campaign.
rebuild the states, the nations of Central America, so that their economies are so strong
people won't want to leave.
But in the meantime, we'll let everybody cross over our border while we're fixing,
while we're doing a Marshall Plan down there.
The whole thing is absolutely absurd.
They've been doing that plan in Europe for 35 years.
There's all these studies that show that it never worked anywhere.
It doesn't work.
It's just a fig leaf for allowing unmitigated, unimpeded mass migration.
And she never really even worked that at all.
I mean, in the beginning, she cut, she showed that she was trying to get some corporations to invest down there, kind of Strong arming them to invest.
Other than that, it was just we're going to give a billion dollars to these countries to do who knows what with.
And that's pretty much it.
She didn't want any part of what was going on down there.
She has always avoided having to talk about it.
She went to Central America once and just made a fool of herself down there with in her interviews denying that there was any problem.
That sort of thing.
And she just doesn't want any part of it as vice president.
But trust me, if she becomes president, we know exactly what's going to happen with her.
dave brat
Yeah.
Yeah.
Todd Bensman, thanks for being with us.
You're just a great leader on one of the most important issues in our country, if not the most important.
You've been doing heroic work for years, and we're just thankful to have you in the War Room.
Thank you very much, Todd.
todd bensman
Thanks for having me.
I appreciate it.
dave brat
You bet.
We'll have you on tomorrow or next week as well.
It's a great honor right now to bring up one of our friends with Patriot Mobile.
I hope you're all familiar with Patriot Mobile.
I am.
These guys are the real deal.
When you talk about the Judeo-Christian tradition and having the right values and virtues and not just talking points, But walking the walk and buying the right things and supporting the right causes and showing up to the War Room set, it's always fun.
I get to see my friend Scott show up now.
His face pops up on the screen here.
I never know who's going to show up on this show, but it's always good people.
And so, Scott Coburn from Patriot Mobile, welcome to the War Room.
What do you want to share with our folks in the posse out there today?
Thanks for being on, brother.
unidentified
Hey, Dave, good morning.
And, you know, it's always good to be on with you guys.
And I just want to start by saying God bless Steve Bannon, right?
I mean, all of us here at Patriot Mobile are praying for Steve.
And, you know, if I know Steve, he's using this time to sharpen his sword and get ready for, you know, whatever's next in the fight to save our country.
So God bless Steve Bannon.
And, you know, Steve's been talking about this for a while, but there's this next man up mentality.
And I like to believe that that's what's Going on around here at Patriot Mobile right now.
It's the next man up mentality, right?
We were at the RNC last week, and I'll tell you, we all need to be very encouraged about the state of our party coming out of this, what I believe is the most successful RNC, certainly in my lifetime.
But, on the other hand, this is not a time for us to sit back and take our foot off the gas pedal, right?
I mean, we should all be asking ourselves right now, Dave, What more can we do?
Because you know the left, they're relentless.
They're going to continue to attack our freedoms every chance they get.
So right now, we all need to be asking ourselves, what more can we do?
And I'll tell you, it goes beyond just voting, you know, in November, right?
I mean, elections have consequences.
We know that.
But I will tell you, voting with our dollars and supporting companies that you believe in also has consequences.
And I believe this is a way for us to all make an impact.
And by supporting companies like Patriot Mobile and others that are on the front lines of this red economy, fighting for freedom, that's how we win.
There's power in numbers.
You can only cast one ballot at the ballot box.
You can cast many ballots with your wallet.
So this is one way we can all get in the fight, supporting companies like Patriot Mobile that are on the front lines defending freedom, and that's how we win.
dave brat
Yeah, Scott, I applaud you guys.
We have a big, you know, CEO summit at Liberty University.
You guys have played a role there.
You've been in leadership around the country.
And a lot of the financial folks now, right, are starting to have portfolios that are based on values, right, investing in Christian firms.
And it's not small anymore.
There's a lot of our friends are running major firms now and there's groups, you know, back to neutral as a bunch of friends that are just trying to get the DEI and political correctness out of the Fortune 500 firms, etc.
So there's a huge movement and you guys, Patriot Mobile, you were at the forefront of all this.
You want to name any names of friends out there who deserve some credit for fighting with you guys from the beginning?
unidentified
You know, I'll tell you, Dave, you hit the nail on the head.
We've been out in front of this red wave parallel economy thing before woke was even a thing, right?
I mean, we saw the writing on the wall.
This is what we're called to do, and this is how we win, like I said.
You know, we choose to partner with organizations that are having the biggest impact on the fight for freedom.
So we focus our efforts on four key areas.
First Amendment, Second Amendment, Sanctity of Life, and Military and First Responders.
So what we try to do is we donate money back.
We donated two and a half million dollars last year back to Christian conservative causes.
And we try to narrow our focus to, again, those organizations that are making the biggest difference.
You look at our Second Amendment, right?
We're supporting the Gun Owners of America, the National Rifle Association, and others that are on the front lines in that area.
You look at military and first responders.
We're looking at organizations like Boot Campaign, Folds of Honor, and others, again, that are having the largest impact.
They're being good stewards with the money that we give.
And that's what we believe in.
Sanctity of life?
I mean, you look at Susan B. Anthony, Pro-Life America, Concerned Women for America, Embrace Grace, and many other organizations that are truly champions in that area.
And that's what we're trying to rally behind them because, look, they do it better than we do.
We're a cell phone service provider and we're a really good one.
But I say this all the time, Dave.
You've heard me say it.
It's not about the cell phones.
It's about defending freedom.
And we know that those guys can, if we provide the money and the funding, those guys are going to make the most of it.
And that's why we do it.
That's why we partner with them.
dave brat
Yep, yep.
Well said, Scott.
Everybody, go check out Patriot Mobile.
Check out Scott.
Does a great job as chief marketing.
He's great.
He's a great personality out front.
And if your portfolio is supporting China and communists and surveillance states and totalitarian systems, you're not thinking right now, right?
If you're a Christian and you're doing those things, holy moly, don't know where to start with you.
So go, as a first step, check out Patriot Mobile.
Scott, thanks for being a Patriot, a fine Christian leader out there, and thanks for being on The War Room today.
God bless you.
unidentified
Thank you, Dave.
God bless you, and thanks for being the next man up.
dave brat
You bet, you bet, brother.
Thank you, man.
Good.
Well, no stranger to the show, we have Caroline Wren.
I have no idea where she's going to lead us, but it'll be spot on.
She's always great on the politics.
I can't follow all the headlines.
It's like drinking out of a fire hose on this show.
And so, Caroline, catch us up, get us up to speed.
What's going on out there in the headlines and in the politics?
caroline wren
Gosh, well, the New York Post story stood out to me yesterday.
They quoted a source close to the Biden family saying that the Biden family felt the debate was a setup to convince Democrats that Biden could run for president, which my head wanted to explode.
I've never wanted to call Steve more than I did in that moment, because they are correct.
Steve and I have been screaming this for months, that the fix to remove Biden has been in place since May 15th.
And just look at that timeline.
On May 15th, the Biden team proposed a June debate, which was insane.
Why would you debate before becoming the official nominee?
On May 28th, the DNC quietly announces that it moved its nomination from a convention in late August to a Zoom meeting.
On May 30th, Trump is convicted in New York.
On June 27th, it's a disastrous Biden debate.
On July 13th, they tried to assassinate Trump.
On July 18th, Trump accepts the nomination despite an assassination attempt.
July 21st, Biden announces he's stepping down.
And August 7th, they just announced that they're going to officially nominate, presumably Harris, via Zoom.
So all these things that Steve and I laid out are coming to exact fruition.
This was always a setup by Obama, And the Clintons and others to get Biden out and they finally were able to win and now they're gonna avoid having any sort of fight because they made this quiet rule change two months ago about the DNC and so they're just gonna have this snap Zoom meeting and call it a day.
unidentified
Boom.
dave brat
30 headlines in 30 seconds.
Back with Caroline Wren after the break.
I'm going to ask you, Caroline, is the play over?
Or are we just in Act 1?
Any action going to take place at the Democrat convention?
Fascinating to watch.
The Uniparty at play.
The establishment at work.
Stay tuned to the War Room.
unidentified
...to the president tonight, and particularly to the War Room posse as they watch it.
caroline wren
I think it's a lose-lose, because if Trump wins and completely dominates Biden in this, then I think they replace him.
And I want to run against Biden.
It's a 35% approval rating, and so I think that the Democrats moved the convention to an all-Zoom meeting, and they did that in case that Biden bombs.
And they have time to quickly just say, all right, it's going to be Michelle Obama and everyone logging to this Zoom in an hour, and we're going to go ahead and Uh, nominate her and then her, him, whatever.
And a month later go to our convention and it will be too late to do anything and you avoid a big floor fight.
So that's the win scenario in my mind.
And the lose scenario, as long as Joe Biden doesn't poop his pants on stage, they're going to say he won.
So the bear, the bar is so low and I can, the Trump campaign's been desperately trying to go on and TV the last week I've watched it and say, Oh, actually Biden's a pretty good debater, but like, come on, literally if he just doesn't die on stage or poop his pants, they're going to say he did a great job.
I don't know why I did this.
I wouldn't have done it.
I wouldn't have waited until September.
dave brat
Dave Brat back in the war room with the great Stephen K. Bannon.
Personally, Cameron in Denver in the studio, I think we ought to play a Steve Bannon clip every day.
That just made me feel good seeing Steve up there with Caroline with her crystal ball, calling it all out ahead of time.
Caroline, good job.
Let's finish up the last idea we had.
You made the play call.
Are we done?
Obama still hasn't signed off on this thing.
Is there a bombshell maybe coming up in a month and people go, oh, we didn't know about this about Kamala.
You know, it turns out now we got to get rid of her and go to the next person down the list.
Or is it a done deal?
Is Kamala it?
caroline wren
It's not a fully done deal, it's pretty close, and it's not a month.
Remember, they're going to do a Zoom nomination.
They said it will be before August 7th, so it'll be somewhere in those three days.
So really, it's about a 10 to 14 day window that they would have to make a change.
So if Kamala comes out, a bunch of oppo comes out, she just gets destroyed, then they can replace her on it.
It does seem to be like they're going to stick with her.
I think the reason why Obama and a couple others haven't come out is they are wanting to play this game like this is some open convention.
Anyone can get in and then they'll end up, you know, saying, OK, we're with her or in the event that something disastrous happens with her over the next week, then he can come in and replace someone.
But right now, I actually I think they do end up sticking with her.
And I think that we're all getting a little bit too excited.
Yes, I think Kamala Harris is terrible.
She's not a good candidate.
But also, the Democrats have a history of putting up terrible candidates that then end up in office.
I would point to Katie Hobbs in Arizona.
Joe Biden in 2020 wasn't a good candidate.
I mean, look at John Fetterman was literally brain dead.
Just because she's a bad candidate doesn't mean they can't elect her.
Right.
And so I think now the process is, who do they pick as the VP for her?
And the funny part of this is that they have a binders filled with white heterosexual men to choose from
in Romney's terms.
So right now it's looking like it's either gonna be the Kentucky governor, Andy Beshear,
Pennsylvania governor, Josh Shapiro, California governor, Gavin Newsom,
Arizona Senator Mark Kelly, or Connecticut Senator Chris Coons.
I think personally that it ends up being Mark Kelly.
I think that the Kentucky governor kind of stepped in his own mouth, didn't do that well in an interview yesterday.
I think Josh Shapiro is actually the most talented in the Democratic Party, but he's Jewish.
And so I think they don't want to open up a whole can of free Palestine fights right now.
And then Gavin Newsom will have some residency issues with Kamala Harris that they'd have to work out.
And I also don't think Gavin would ever want to take a second Fiddle to Kamala.
And then Chris Coons is probably just too far left.
And so I think there's a good chance it ends up being, you know, their astronaut candidate, Senator Mark Kelly.
dave brat
Yeah, very good.
And are you following the money trail here, too?
You know, everybody in the War Room, we just had Mike Benz on.
We had Laura Logan's coming on tomorrow.
And folks in the War Room, they want to know, you know, everybody knows there's puppets all over the place.
Who's in control of the puppets?
Where's the money coming from, really?
I got decimated by this blue cloud thing or whatever it's called back when I was in Congress.
The money just comes in out of nowhere.
And they say it's grassroots.
What do you got on the money story?
caroline wren
In the last 36 hours, they've said that Kamala has raised $100 million via ActBlue.
ActBlue is the largest money laundering operation in the country.
It truly is.
There's money coming through Ukraine, foreign donations.
They don't even report anything under $100.
You don't have to report.
And it's just a joke to me that $100 million would come in online for Kamala Harris.
But that is what they announced, and that is certainly what will be deposited into their bank account.
You know, we had a bit of a head start at the beginning of July.
The Trump campaign closed the money gap, and the campaign announced they had $285 million cash on hand.
The RNC had $100 million, so that was about $385 million cash on hand between the two.
The Biden campaign had $240 million cash on hand.
The DNC had $78 million.
So they had about $318 million.
So we were outpacing them by, I don't know, about $70 million.
Well, they just added $100 million and counting into that, right?
You're also seeing all these Hollywood-types announce fundraisers.
So There's certainly the money's going to tip back in the
favor of the Democrats.
Now, I personally believe that money is diminishing in power.
I do think we have by far the strongest candidate in Donald Trump, the strongest messaging,
but we cannot get complacent.
We had that in 2020.
Look what just happened in France.
Look what happened in the 2023 special elections.
Look what happened in the 2022 mythical red wave.
Look what happened in 2020.
Everyone should be alarmed and working harder than they ever have in their lives.
Steve warned us about this before he went into jail.
He said, do not get complacent.
This is about to be the most insane three months.
The race will not look anything today like it does today when I'm going in, in three months from now.
Gosh, was he right.
It is a totally different world, and now we have to double down as the war room posse, work harder than we possibly ever have in our lives, because they are literally pulling out all of the stops from trying to assassinate Trump, to convicting him in a sham trial, to removing Biden.
I mean, this is how ruthless these people are.
They will stop at nothing to keep Donald Trump out of the White House, and we need to stop at nothing to get him in.
dave brat
Yeah, well we all miss Stephen K. Bannon and his unique ability to see around the corners years ahead of time on certain geopolitical issues and the politics.
So you're next man up.
Any hints as to October surprises?
Right.
I don't want to go out on conspiracy land, but, you know, they're going to have a few tricks.
The Republicans are always Cub Scouts.
And, you know, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh.
And, you know, the House right now doesn't, you know, know what to do with Cheadle.
I guess you just step down.
But the leadership out of the House and Senate, Senate's non-existent.
And so it all falls on Trump when it comes to messaging.
Have you heard anything in terms of October surprises, etc.? ?
caroline wren
The October surprise is going to be the voting.
Remember, some states start voting as early as September.
October is when all the mail-in ballots happen.
So I don't really predict much of an October surprise.
Like, what oppo can you drop necessarily on Donald Trump or anything to that point?
But October is when we win or lose this election.
This is when Trump always says four words, watch the vote counters.
That happens in October.
That is when we absolutely have to do it.
I worry about sabotaging Election Day votes.
That's exactly what happened to Carrie Lake in 2022.
They knew all the Republicans would be turning out on Election Day.
Look, I want to only vote on Election Day.
I want one-day paper voting.
But it leaves a massive, massive opportunity for them to sabotage these machines.
And we've not won these court cases.
We have to vote within the way it is laid out right now.
So we have to vote like our lives depend on it.
That's why I think we should be getting ballots in early.
We have to be poll watching.
We have to watch the vote counters.
And October is when all of that happens.
So, if you live in a ruby red state, you need to organize a bus with your friends and you need to bus yourself to Arizona, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, one of these swing states and come help.
We have to overwhelm the ground game.
dave brat
Yeah.
Last time I recall, there was a huge issue with the lawyers and our side, of course, wasn't ready.
We should have had the lawyers ready ahead of time.
The good news this time, all political views are my own, but Lara Trump is in there, right?
He's got his own family in there.
Are they getting the lawyers ready?
Are we equipped and are we challenging the things?
Last time they said you got to challenge things ahead of time, right?
So you have standing after an election.
Can you bring us up to speed on any of that preparation?
caroline wren
I think Laura and the RNC are doing the best that they can, but I don't have a ton of confidence in it because we have a crisis and a lack of Republican attorneys.
In fact, where I was on a livid after 2020 was that the largest firm that we paid $36 million in fact to was Jones Day.
After the election, I went up, Jones Day famously dropped us in November as a client from the Trump campaign and RNC.
98% of Jones Day employees donated to Joe Biden.
Just 2% donated to Donald Trump, and it was basically a couple of paralegals and receptionists.
So we paid $36 million to a law firm that hates our guts, that voted against us, that didn't want to represent us and doesn't have our ideology.
Look at Holtzman Vogel.
Holtzman Vogel was the second largest Republican-paid law firm in the country out of the RNC, NRSC, NRCC.
That's the same firm that put out the amicus brief trying to get Donald Trump removed from the ballot earlier this year.
So the Republican law firms that we rely on are all employed by Democrats.
So like, great, we're going to pay all these firms to come watch the vote counts?
These are Democrats that are just being paid for by your dollars.
So sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but no, I don't have tons of confidence in this.
I mean, I hope we have some citizen attorneys who do real estate law and different things
who are willing to step up, spend some time studying these laws and then come in and volunteer to help.
But there is a absolute crisis in the Republican party amongst not having Republican attorneys.
And it's because the Democrats have Dem law firms where they do not take on corporate clients.
They are subsidized by Soros and others.
They don't do billable hours.
It's all in retainer.
And they could care, if you get sanctioned, you literally get a bonus.
On the Republican side, like, you get sanctioned, your life's over.
And also, like, Jones Day's largest clients are not the RNC or the Trump campaign.
It's Amazon, Apple, Google.
So inherently, they don't want to represent us.
We're not their moneymaker.
And until someone fixes that problem, no, I have an extreme lack of confidence in Having competent lawyers on the ground.
dave brat
Yeah.
Yeah.
Which, you know, and I get all wrapped up with the globalization and the Chinese and the insiders and whatever, but we all have to remember, right?
Caroline's bringing it up right now.
We're still in charge, right?
As Steve says all the time, we still got 70% of the country.
And I do believe that's true.
The Judeo-Christian, the West, your pocketbook, right?
That consumption is 70% of the economy.
And as conservatives, we're not showing any discrimination.
We're all supporting leftist firms, leftist law firms, these elitist law firms.
If your company is doing business with one of the good old boy law firms that's part of the Uniparty, get out of there.
We've got to start spending our money wisely.
That's the true power we have as Americans.
Caroline Wren, thanks for being with us.
Great job, as always.
Stay with The War Room.
unidentified
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
Back in the war room with the great Stephen K. Bannon.
dave brat
even Kay Bannon.
Lift up your prayers for him, for our country.
We cannot wait to see Peter Navarro back in the saddle.
We have not been covering the geopolitics and the economics much.
Hopefully Peter will be back.
We'll do a few segments on that to catch everybody back up.
It's key right now.
Keep your eyes on the ball there.
and go out and give Birch Gold a look, right?
When times are hectic like they are, everybody's expecting some shocker with the stock market,
right?
It's been hard to call.
When are we at the peak?
But when it falls, there's mass agreement that when things start cracking,
maybe in the commercial real estate sector, etc., it's going to crack very hard.
So keep safe.
Take a look at Birch Gold.
Put some of that in your portfolio.
Give them a call.
They're trusted friends of the War Room for years.
And so we have a special friend right now in the grassroots movement who wants to share her energy and enthusiasm For what we ought to be doing and, you know, two or three of the main things she wants to highlight with you.
And so, Melody Jennings, thank you for all the work you're doing out there.
And so, why don't I just tee you up and just share with the War Room Posse what you've been up to and what you're learning in the ground.
That's what we all need to learn, how to be effective.
And so, Melody, take it away.
Thanks for being with us.
unidentified
Morning Dave, thanks so much.
And the last time I was on here I was being sued by Mark Elias for standing up 10,000 people around America around Dropboxes.
So we got past that.
Since then, I have actually published three books, two of which I'm going to talk about right now.
And we're just going to hit this real hard.
There is a real problem.
And we're talking about voting, right?
That is the biggest thing.
And Caroline just punctuated that very well, that we cannot be lax or be lazy about this or think that we've got this.
This faux red wave that happened in 2022 is so on point.
But I want to address every one of your listeners, because so many of these people are falling for this stuff.
There is two particular things that are coming at people at a side when are getting people to not vote.
And the first one is led by a guy named Derrick Johnson, who has come out and told all of his entire base that Trump planned this assassination attempt with the military and the White House, that they're all in on it together.
And he is telling people to sit back, don't worry.
Trump's got this, and people are flocking to, well, actually some of the people that have been following him are realizing, okay, that's not right, and are leaving him.
But many people have been duped into believing that the military's in control, sit back, don't do anything.
And this is only to conservatives, and all of you are in danger of, they are in danger of not voting, because why do they need to if Trump and the military, who evidently the military and Trump are going around the Constitution, which is bogus.
But the military supposedly trumps the Constitution.
All of these are lies.
And the whole idea that Trump is currently the commander in chief and the president is completely a fantastical lie, all of the things that are being told by this guy and by his following, and he gaslights and bullies his people everywhere.
So I'm asking you to please consider that everything he's telling people is causing them not to lie.
And there's three groups in here that are in danger.
The ones that say, well, Trump's got it under control.
I don't need to vote.
The other group is when things don't go the way that Derek says they're going to go,
then people get upset and they blame Trump for it.
And then they also leave.
And then the third group is people who are like, well, hold on, if Trump's doing that,
that makes him a seditious traitor murderer because we lost Cory Comparatore.
And of course, people are, this guy in particular, is saying, well, it's just a casualty of war.
If this happened on the left, this would be called a false flag.
This would not be called a casualty of war.
And so people, and let me tell you, this is hundreds of thousands of people, people listening to you right now and watching this show.
You've got 20,000 people watching right now.
A bunch of them have heard Trump is Commander-in-Chief and he's in control.
The other group, Dave, real quick, is Sovereign Citizen State Nationals.
These groups are telling people, hey, this is a corporation.
You are a corporate entity.
They're trading on your good name on a stock floor someplace, so don't vote.
As a matter of fact, go and change your status, which means get rid of your citizenship.
And by the way, that's the stupidest thing you could do.
It'll really hurt you.
All the things that they're wanting you to do inside of these groups that are only aimed at conservatives on the ground.
This is happening all over.
This is what I'm seeing grassroots is so many people are buying into these things.
And this citizen thing, they're actually, in the Sovereign Citizens State National, they're actually asking you, change your status, which means dump your citizenship.
Guess what you cannot do when you dump your citizenship?
You cannot vote for president.
And arguably, Dave, this is happening to millions of people across America.
It's happening everywhere.
I went to the Reawakened tour.
I'm speaking on the last one, speaking at the next one.
Practically every single person that came past my book table—by the way, I've got two books on all this stuff—were like, oh yeah, the U.S.
is a corporation and the Constitution is broken.
This is all targeted at the conservative movement, and I honestly believe this is dark money that's funding these things.
So while we're looking at all this stuff out here, a lot of people are looking at all this going out here saying, oh yeah, that plugs into these narratives that we're being told.
So I am imploring your listeners, and I am imploring conservatives and Trump lovers, please let go of these fantastical solutions that are warping your mind.
We have got to get out and vote.
And please dump that stuff.
This book completely dispels everything about Trump being commander in chief.
Patriot PSYOP.
You can find it on Amazon.
This one is the corporation illusion.
This gets rid of the whole idea that the Constitution was subverted and that we don't have any control over anything and that, you know, that it's basically there's no point to vote.
It's so sad to watch this happening to our movement.
dave brat
Yeah, Melody, I hope these groups are not sizable.
You've given some sense that they are.
Steve Bannon, right, the one great virtue of his is he always calls for the receipts.
And these groups, right, if you're involved in a group that cannot provide you with evidence on paper of what they're talking about, you know, check out, right?
Check out, go check into some trusted groups you do know.
So, Melody, are these groups sizable?
Do they have a following on social media?
I have not ever heard of them, thank goodness, but what's going on out there?
How big are they?
unidentified
Dave, this is arguably millions of people who are following us.
It is very sizable, and because most of us are talking about what's going on out here, people are not realizing the mentality of the people on social medias everywhere.
are listening to and we're hearing like what all of your guests are saying.
And then these people are coming in from behind and going, oh yeah, see how this fits into
the narrative.
And when you talk about documentation, Derek Johnson's big shtick is that he says, well,
I'm giving you all the documentation.
I give you the Law of War Manual, the War Powers Resolution Act, and the NDAA, and I give you the UCMJ, and I give you the Military Justice Act, and I give you Trump's executive orders.
He claims that Trump's executive orders have turned Trump into a wartime president, and he's still the president.
And basically, they take the Constitution, and they take the fact that we don't have civics any longer, and he's taking this.
Twisting them and he says hey, I've got the documents and he says if you don't agree with me You either haven't read or you are ignorant and I'm not able to comprehend So he gaslights and bullies his his followers into intimidation and yes It's hundreds of thousands of people with the between the corporation Illusion and please get rid of your citizenship, which is a big thing that's going on underneath there They're actually standing up folk governors and they get up a faux president in 2010 who's in prison by the way 18 These are large groups, and they're all being influenced on social media.
dave brat
Yeah, well, I know.
Now you've jogged my memory, because I did run into that with a lot of good conservative friends, and they would talk about, Dave, that's not constitutional, this is constitutional.
And I had to argue with it.
There's no one more constitution-minded than I am in the Judeo-Christian West and the whole tradition.
But unfortunately, the Constitution has been amended, and there are precedents that go against us at every turn, and those are current law, right?
So the folks out there spinning these tales about original documents, and this is what's in play currently, that is not the right argument, and that is not logic, and it's incumbent on them not only to give these theoretical arguments, but to give the empirical arguments.
If someone's making some claim about the Defense Department being in charge, etc.
Show it, prove it, right?
That's why we had Mike Benz on earlier today.
He had the receipts left and right.
And so, Melody, thanks for coming on and just sending the warning signal out so people in the posse know how to spread the truth on these matters and keep everyone in the fold, right?
It's not to butt heads with these folks.
It's just to get everybody back in line so we're all paying attention, right?
All political views are just my own.
But it is key.
On the conservatives, we get so utopian, right?
The lefts are supposed to be the utopians.
But we get so utopian about our founding documents and whatever that we lose attention on where it should be, which is voting, between two very different philosophies coming up.
And so thanks for the warning shots, Melody.
Thanks for being on The War Room this morning for sharing your books.
unidentified
Absolutely.
Get out and vote.
We need every single vote.
dave brat
Absolutely.
All right, we're back with Caroline Wren.
Actually, no, we got Patrick O'Donnell, America's premier military historian.
Patrick, I think you were going to come on and give some analogies to Biden last week, how things have changed, right?
You had some historical analogies between him and Washington, et cetera, and now we got another presidential candidate.
And so why don't you, it seems to me that character and leadership are two huge issues which history can teach us about.
And so I'll just leave you at it and teach us the lessons of history.
Patrick.
unidentified
David, we're living through some of the greatest moments in American history as we speak at this moment.
And as you mentioned, it's character and leadership that are the most important and essential elements of a presidency.
And, you know, we look back and I've seen the example being used of where Washington steps down first in 1784, where he relinquishes power.
You know, he's in a position to be the king of America, but decides to relinquish power at the end of the American Revolution.
And then later in 1797, only goes for two terms.
It's absolutely farcical that Joe Biden is given that, you know, analogy, because he was forced out of his position.
It wasn't a situation where he peacefully relinquished his power.
And, you know, we look at leadership, and this is where that president, the current president, has really been absent from leadership in all levels.
And then character has also been lacking as well.
And we look at the great historical presidents in American history, starting with George Washington, Who really, I mean, is the embodiment of probably the greatest president that we ever had because he had to lead a revolution, which was he was the indispensable man in that revolution.
If it wasn't for George Washington, the revolution would have collapsed.
And what I mean by that is he personally led the American strategy that won the American revolution.
He was also the bridge builder within an American Civil War.
Our first Civil War was during the American Revolution, where there were many people that were loyalists, the third, and then there were those that were patriots, and then there was a large percentage that would go between both situations based on the battlefield victories that occurred.
And it was George Washington that had to deal with eight years of in many cases, defeat.
And he also had to build alliances with, you know, our great alliance with France, where we received a great deal of money and also troops.
I mean, these alliance building was an absolutely essential character element within the Washington presidency, as well as leadership.
And these are the things that, you know, we look today upon, and it's President Trump that embodies many of these essential elements.
Whereas we look at President Biden and that they're absent.
dave brat
Yeah, Patrick, we're gonna be back after the break with Patrick O'Donnell and it is interesting, right?
President Trump is not a white paper think tank guy.
But if you take the leadership he's shown and the principle he's shown at the RNC convention, Right, the border invasion, taking on the rule of law, which is just critical to this country at this point in time.
And then the massive spending, $2 trillion deficits on the administrative state and the deep state, which we just outlined with Mike Benz.
And then finally, the forever wars.
They don't seem like they're philosophical positions, but they are leadership and they're principled.
And so back with Patrick O'Donnell to comment on the president's leadership style and what
it means for him.
unidentified
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
dave brat
Back in the war room, sitting in with Stephen K. Bannon.
And we have the great war, American war historian, Patrick K. O'Donnell with us.
We live in interesting times.
It's very interesting.
The left, I can't really think of what their agenda is right now.
President Trump at the RNC laid out a very clear agenda with three major points.
That are all related to Americans' lives.
It's not political.
It's great policy, but he delivers it just in a practical way.
And the left is just very good.
All political views are my own, but the left is just very good at slicing and dicing and the rhetoric, right?
Kind of that comes out of Plato.
Beware the rhetorician, right?
The person that's just clever with words, but there's nothing behind them.
And so, Patrick, when it comes to history, how do you look at President Trump's leadership style, and what should he look out for, and how can he win the battle of ideas?
Because he's got the great ideas, but we're up against some great political competitors.
Patrick.
unidentified
Absolutely, David.
I mean, in many ways, there's some similarities to 1864.
And let's bring in the great president of Abraham Lincoln and the challenges that he faced.
And I think it's interesting.
They're always saying that they need to defend democracy.
And it's the Democrats' favorite self-aggrandizing term for themselves, their party, is the democracy.
It's what they call themselves.
And it was the democracy In 1864, there's a great quote in the book, The Unvanquished, which is a bestseller that I wrote.
It said that democracy was in possession of the press.
And it's so true in 1864 as it is today, because it's democracy that controls the press.
And they control the narrative, and it's the slicing and dicing that you mentioned, that they're so good at controlling the narrative.
I mean, the narrative was that Joe Biden steps down to preserve democracy.
He sacrifices himself.
Well, you know, it's farcical in many ways.
President Trump is a threat to democracy.
I mean, all these things that they keep repeating over and over, when it's the democracy that's controlling the press and the narrative.
And, you know, it was a similar summer of 1864 was a very, very, very rough time for Lincoln at that time where the war was going wrong in every direction.
And it would be the Democrats that once again would have their convention in Chicago at that time.
And they would, you know, there's fascinating elements that they had.
They planned an insurrection through the Confederate Secret Service.
It would be the Secret Service that would actually write the Democrats campaign platform for 1864, which would be one of peace and an armistice with
the South, and that would retain slavery. These are things that are just fascinating and it
occurs. But it's leadership that Lincoln has that is one of resilience and one of a man that just was
obsessed with just continuing to preserve the Union and going forward. And he was single-minded. But
he also had a statesmanship about him of forgiveness that I think is really an
important element even today, where we need to heal our divided country.
You know, so these are things that I think President Trump has and then is also able to embody, you know, to bring the country together, that reconciliation and forgiveness.
Being a statesman, you know, the bigger ideas of bringing, you know, America, the shining city on the hill, you know, bringing back our core values of the American Revolution and the founding are the keys to liberty and freedom.
Unlike, you know, power and control, which is, it seems to be the obsession of the left at this point.
dave brat
Yeah, I think you just put your finger on it, right?
Every single issue, at the bottom of it all, gets down to liberty, right?
We're talking about censorship, the globalists, etc., the attacks.
That liberty comes uniquely out of, I mean, it comes out of Greece originally, but then a huge lapse, then ultimately the Judeo-Christian tradition.
Which gives us the values and the virtues and the law and the respect for those things.
And so, thanks for being with us, Patrick K. O'Bannon.
We see why Steve Bannon loves you and your wisdom and leadership and character.
What books would you point out most related to your talk today?
unidentified
The most related to my talk is The Unvanquished, which is the untold story of the Civil War.
Which is all about leadership.
It's all about personal sovereignty.
It's all about men of action.
How a small group of individuals can change the course of history.
It's what all of the 13 books that I've written are about.
And you can find me at Combat Historian or Amazon.com or Barnes & Noble right at the front of the store.
dave brat
Patrick O'Donnell, the American treasurer, thanks for being on with us.
