Speaker Time Text
steve bannon
This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.
I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.
The people have had a belly full of it.
I know you don't like hearing that.
I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
It's going to happen.
jake tapper
And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
MAGA Media. I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
unidentified
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
steve bannon
If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
unidentified
He doesn't seem all that concerned about a motion to make it.
I want you to listen to what he said.
Everybody has the ability to do what they want.
But if you think I'm gonna wake up in the morning and be very worried about that, it doesn't bother me.
If someone thinks they have the right to do it.
He's claiming victory.
There are as many as 40 million pistol braces in circulation in the United States right now.
Doesn't bother me. You thought you were just gonna scoop them up and start throwing people in jail for owning a piece of plastic that you already said was legal years ago?
Doesn't bother me. Not realizing the stupid law isn't stopping criminals, it's creating them.
Because but for those injunctions, millions of people would have become felons as of June 1st.
If you think I'm gonna wake up in the morning and be very worried about that, no.
So that single parent mother who bought the pistol caliber car being with a brace on it for home defense because it made it easier for her to shoot and protect herself, felon.
Doesn't bother me.
Doctor who bought an AR pistol with a brace on it to keep with him in his car and going to and from his office because there have been several armed robberies committed by a group of criminals in the area where his office is?
steve bannon
Felon.
unidentified
Doesn't bother me.
Not to mention, most people don't even know about the rule.
And even if they did, they likely wouldn't even understand what the hell the ATF was saying because the ATF writes and legalese.
If you think I'm gonna wake up in the morning and be ever worried about that, hell.
These dumb gun laws hurt real and good people, but they don't care because these laws aren't about helping people.
They're about controlling them.
steve bannon
Yeah, but one last question.
unidentified
We'll Did leadership tell Clyde that if he didn't vote for the Fiscal Responsibility Act that his bill was harder to go for?
No. No. No.
So what are you saying is not true?
No. There were problems with the bill passing before.
steve bannon
We have demanded all weekend up on Getter with posters, talks, everything, that the pistol, your bill with your name on it be put back on this week, like today, be put back on so it could be addressed by the House.
What's our status, sir?
andrew clyde
I will tell you that what you have been doing and the response from the 2A community has been very effective to date.
unidentified
We're not quite there yet, but it has definitely had a significant impact.
steve bannon
News of the day. After this mini revolt, the pistol brace is going to come to the floor?
unidentified
That's correct, Steve.
It's coming to the floor on Tuesday.
I tell you, man, this is such a powerful platform.
matt gaetz
It was Andrew Clyde's interview here on The War Room that really got this thing going with our members, with our activists.
unidentified
It is really something.
steve bannon
Well, this is this audience.
That's why they love you guys, and they have your back.
unidentified
But now the true test of chicken is whether Kevin McCarthy will scuttle our oversight agenda vis-a-vis Christopher Wray as an effort to punish us.
Remember, he already punished gun owners to try to punish Andrew Clyde.
Now will he punish every American and let Christopher Wray off the hook?
jonathan lemire
Mr. Lawler, we want to ask you about the dynamics right now in your party in the House of Representatives.
As you know, there's about a dozen members of the far-right members of your party, those of many in the Freedom Caucus, who are in open rebellion right now against the speakership, unable to get bills to the floor.
What does this say to you?
What's your read on what's going on?
And are you concerned that Kevin McCarthy's grip on his post may be endangered?
unidentified
No, I'm not concerned about the speakership.
I think Speaker McCarthy has been continually underestimated throughout the course of the first six months here and has done a very good job advancing legislation through the House.
I think my colleagues need to recognize, as I said back in January when we had the speaker vote, the vast majority of our conference is unified.
And we will continue to hold firm.
We're not going to be overrun by a handful of folks.
You have to work as colleagues.
You have to work in good faith.
And I think when they get over their little temper tantrum, they need to show up to do their job come Monday.
Because I will be here to do mine, and that's what I expect of all of my colleagues that were elected to represent the people of this country.
mika brzezinski
Before we go, one more note here.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has canceled a planned vote on whether to hold the FBI director in contempt of Congress.
In a statement yesterday, the Kentucky Republican announced the vote had been removed from the schedule after Director Chris Wray agreed to let all members of the committee view a sensitive document.
The document, according to Comer, contains allegations from a whistleblower about a bribe involving Joe Biden from his time as vice president.
On Monday, the committee chair was able to view the paper inside a secure room earlier this week.
But as is consistent with FBI policy regarding sensitive information, the Bureau said it could not turn over the document as Comer requested.
In response, he announced the planned vote to hold Ray in contempt before backtracking yesterday.
steve bannon
Okay, welcome.
Thursday, 8 June, Year of the Lord, 2023.
A historic fight going on.
And we're looking for members of the Fight Club, Fights That Matter.
Right? Don't be whiny today.
Don't be sucking on thumbs.
Get out of the fetal position.
It's another day at the ramparts.
I understand things are tough.
Let's go back. Every time you start feeling sorry for yourself, get a great copy of any book about the American Revolution.
Yeah, I think in years five, six, seven, there weren't a ton of victories.
You had a Saratoga in a Boston or Bunker Hill every now and again.
But quite rare.
This is a huge win.
A lot going on. And right there, I think it was Lawler.
You know, we're unified.
You're unified around surrender.
Remember what this entire fight is.
We've seized the floor.
And Kevin McCarthy, understanding he couldn't take the pressure of, we're going to operationalize the floor today.
He sent everybody home.
And what they're doing is, I guess they're doing due diligence, because they had this conference the other morning.
Of which McCarthy and his colleagues tried to take a victory lap.
And they got shredded in front of people about the lies and misrepresentations in the deal.
In the deal. And also this fantasy or this hope that we're going to get a second bite of the apple in the appropriations process.
We're trying to talk reality.
Okay? And there are ways that you can make the surrender bill.
And that's what Lawler's talking about.
We're taking collective action.
We're unified. You're unified and surrendered, dude.
That's not going to happen. We're not going to empower the Biden regime.
We're not going to give them unlimited money.
And we're going to find out who made that deal, what they did, what they told other Republicans at the time, the lies and misrepresentations and the spin.
We're going to get to the bottom of that.
You should know people are going through models right now on various aspects of that, whether it's the executive order part or the permitting part.
Okay, so that's number one.
Number two, the pistol brace.
Because they try to use things of intimidation.
Intimidation. So they want to put through the messaging bills of the gas stoves.
And the gas stoves bill's not going to go anywhere in the Senate.
That's a pure messaging bill.
The RAINS Act.
They had the RAINS Act in the original deal.
They're going to pass it in the House, not going to go in the Senate.
You had the leverage to pass it the first time because the Senate had to sign off in the debt ceiling.
That's why these things were in there.
And so when Lawler sits up there on MSNBC and gives us happy talk, bro, we'll put you through the chip shredder politically.
I don't care if he's from the Hudson, it's a swing valley.
You know, you can only take so much of these guys lying to their constituents.
You gave Biden an unlimited checkbook and you codified the most radical elements of what Biden regime has done to this country.
If you can't stand up for that and you can't fight that when you have the leverage, you're never going to have it.
You're just going to continue to surrender.
So the country's in the balance.
What What leadership is trying to do is they're going to try to block, and they have.
They've taken the pistol brace off the calendar, and they say they're going to put it.
It's on for Tuesday. They also, and Matt Gaetz said it right here the other day, on the Comer investigations, as little as these investigations have had, at least Comer now with Ray in the contempt of Congress, to turn over the basic underlying documentation of the Biden bribe from years ago, from back in the Obama administration.
And Matt Gaetz said right here, they're going to send everybody home instead of keeping people here, could do committee work, let the insurgents operationalize the floor.
McCarthy realized that'd be a full humiliation.
He'd be totally cucked.
Okay, so he sent everybody home.
He's the one that's sending people home.
Now, Ray blinked late last night and said, I will send it over with some technicalities to let the oversight committee review it.
Review it, and then they've got to send it back.
So this is why they've held off for right now on the contempt.
They can still do that later.
And if they see something here, there's all kind of other documentation they can use, they can get, or fight for.
Remember, in this aspect of it, in this front of it, they're hurtling down a path to indict President Trump Using the Espionage Act, and the reason they're doing that, because the Presidential Records Act, they understand they have nothing to stand on, the Espionage Act, so they can message that, hey, we indicted the guy for, you know, being a spy or, you know, classified information under the Espionage Act.
You will see that nine zillion times after they do it.
And the obstruction charge, because that's what they really got.
They think they've got an obstruction charge.
They got all this. Oh, Trump said this.
He hid this. They didn't have, you know, didn't let him in the pool room.
But without an underlying crime, of which they don't have, right?
Now it's shifted down to Miami.
So when you have Jack Smith and Merrick Garland about to toss us into the middle of a constitutional crisis of indicting a former president, current candidate, who had the last election stolen and can prove it, now you're going to indict him when he's leading He's leading virtually every poll you see, leading Biden. It's a runaway with the Keebler elves, and that gets more and more irrelevant.
Understand, we watch here in the war room all of the stuff that's happening to the president.
It doesn't raise to a level of anything of true interest.
It's the Keebler Elves.
The only thing of interest is how irrelevant what they're talking about.
Mike Pence in his town hall last night came out and he wants to cut Social Security, he wants to reorganize Medicare, and he wants to go full in on hundreds of billions of dollars to Ukraine.
That's all dead on arrival.
And his whole thing, he misses the point, because once again, Pence always kind of misses the point.
Nobody, in particular people, they don't have any trust in government.
The trust in government's in single digits.
Why would people trust?
You can't reform Social Security and Medicare unless people have a trust in people that they're going to do the right thing and not get screwed.
And nobody believes that. So therefore, you can't touch it right now.
I'm sorry you brought this on.
Because of these institutions in the imperial capital of the lies and misrepresentations time and time and time again.
Why don't working class and middle class people have any faith in it?
Why should they let you do it?
Social security is the one little thing they got.
Do we have issues with it?
Do you have to talk about the refinancing of it?
How are you going to do it? Maybe stop robbing the trust fund?
Yes, important, but you can't sit there with people having zero trust.
And they should have zero trust, because all people do is lie to you bald-faced.
And now you have a group of 11 patriots, I'll throw Clyde in there too, give me a dozen, right, that have jammed things up.
And they're sitting there going in a principled stand saying, we are not going to go any farther here.
And to show you how big it is, and it's not just them, The majority leader, I guess Steve Scalise got tired of me calling Hakeem Jeffries the majority leader because that's what you're talking about here.
When Lola says we're unified, you're unified with Democrats.
It's a Democrat bill that went forward.
Don't you get it, dude? And to say it's not just Steve Bannon running into the microphone every morning and bringing on these rebels.
Steve Scalise gives Jake Sherman over at Punchbowl a brutal interview that's up on Punchbowl right now and up on my getter site.
Where he says, I don't know what deals McCarthy has cut.
I don't even know what McCarthy's doing.
I'm the majority leader. I'm not in the loop.
They're blaming Scalise for going to Clyde and saying, we're going to pull the bill.
And Scalise is saying, hey, that came from senior management.
The problem you have here, and they got isolation.
Elise Stefanik doesn't know what's going on.
Scalise doesn't know what's going on.
These are all their voter representatives and leadership.
Amherst barely knows what's going on.
The whip. What McCarthy's done, he's got a staff and he's got Graves and McHenry and one or two others.
And his staff is out there cracking people's skulls.
Not gonna work. We've seized the floor.
We have territory.
And they're not gonna give it up.
Okay, there is a lot going on, both the inside game and the outside game.
Mark Mitchell is going to talk to us about Robert F. Kennedy.
Only Trump and Kennedy making any sense in this election.
Next in the War Room. Okay, we've got a lot of wood to chop today, because there's a lot going on.
There's a massive fight, and you need to have people's backs.
202-225-3121.
Grace Chong and Captain Bannon putting out in the livestream, if we can get it on the screen, the 11 heroes.
Make sure you call their office and give them an attaboy.
Let's throw Andy Clyde in there, too.
He would make a dozen. And specifically, this is most important.
And this is really important if you're from a red district, of which many of you are.
If your congressman's personal is not part of the 73 or not part of the 30 that voted against the rule or not part of this group, the dirty dozen, you should call and give them the old what for and tell them, hey, The McCarthy deal is a complete disaster on every level.
What people are really upset about now, I got Jeff Clark.
What they're upset now is that we've been exposing on the show the lies even about the part that they sell on Fox all the time.
The lies of that.
They're beyond, because they understand it's catastrophic of the duration, the two years and no cap.
Two years and no cap. Think about that for a second.
And McCarthy just said yesterday, in fact, Jake Sherman broke it, I think it was Jake, over at Punchbowl, that the appropriators are going to look at lower targets, try to make more cuts.
But like you said, the Democrats, they're saying that's news to them.
You approve the top line, what do you mean you're going to have other cuts?
So my point is this fantasy.
And look, we're for massive cuts, but the fantasy that they're holding out, oh, the appropriators are going to get to, is not going to happen.
They can have regular order, and they can have all the appropriations they want.
The Senate is going to sit there with the collaborationist Republicans, and the Senate are going to reject it out of hand.
We're going to get down to the 30th of September, right?
We're not going to have appropriations for the next year, although we did the regular order.
You're going to have this catastrophic fight, and we're going to have it right here in the war room in the last two weeks of September.
And if McCarthy's still there, he's going to blink again.
And what you're going to get, you're going to get a C.R., That's going to kick the can down the road into the fourth quarter or the first quarter of the fiscal year starting October 1st.
Because remember, the clock strikes midnight on 30 September.
Boom! No money.
You've got to have appropriations approved so you can actually make payroll.
Make payroll. McCarthy's going to blink.
You'll have one of these emergency CRs.
You're going to have a rolling CRs.
We'll have the same fight we always have.
And then guess what? When they want to go home for Christmas, sometime between the 15th and Christmas Eve, you're going to vote a big old omnibus, and they're going to throw a lot of other stuff.
They'll throw another Electoral Count Act of 1887 in there in the dark of night, right?
Unconstitutionally in the dark of night.
They'll just tuck it in there. And this is what you're going to have.
That's all coming. You've got to fight now.
You've got to leverage.
Look, it happened one time on a rules vote 21 years ago.
It has never happened, I don't think, in the history of the Republic that you've had a group seize control of the floor of the House in their own party and say, nothing's coming forward until we get the pistol brace and we get some things right.
And what I can tell you they're talking about behind the scenes is quite monumental.
About emergency orders, about authorizations, about things to really get this town, break the cartel, and let's get it all out on the table and show exactly how this imperial capital runs.
And anybody who doesn't have their back, you're either with us or you're against us.
Okay, quite simple. This is one of those clarifying moments.
And if you want to whine and suck your thumb, go whine and suck your thumb.
I got that. There are a lot of people in the Revolution, the Civil War.
After a while, it's just too hard.
unidentified
It's so hard. It's just too hard.
steve bannon
Is it too hard? Can I pat you on the head?
And you run out of the backyard and go play.
Okay? We're here to work. We're here to man the ramparts.
If that's not your deal, I have no problem with that.
Some people are cut out for this and some people are not.
And you go back and look at American history.
Every time we've had a fourth turning, it is those people that will sit there and go, this is over when we say it's over.
And when we say it's over is when we win.
And you're seeing this in every aspect of it, right?
This is all about also Trump, what they're coming for Trump.
I'm going to get Jeff Clark up here in a second to talk about that.
Pat Robertson also passed away today at 93 years old.
We're going to have both. I think we're going to get Michelle Bachman from at Regent University, the great university founded.
She's one of the deans out there.
And also Dave Brat is going to join us at Liberty to talk about the founding of the Christian right with Dr.
Pat Robertson, who ran for the presidency, came in second against Bob Dole, went back in 96 and then finished third overall.
Let me bring in. First off, Mitchell, you've got polling.
We're not going to have it out tomorrow.
We have you back on. But can you show me a little leg on this whole thing with the debt ceiling and inflation?
I know you're out in the field right now.
You're going to be finished tomorrow, and you'll be back on talking about it.
But just give me a headline.
mark mitchell
We pulled before, during, and after this debt ceiling negotiation.
And I think it tells a really compelling story.
And you think back to 2022 and inflation was the number one issue for voters almost the entire time.
And Republicans, you know, America wasn't fully sold on Republicans, but they gave them a shot at Congress.
And coming into this debt ceiling fight, we had Republicans up double digits on the issue of trust on the economy.
And we were on Worm talking about the vast majority of Americans that supported the Republican plan on the debt ceiling and that people wanted to see Biden compromise more than McCarthy.
So then the negotiation happened and we did some more polling and we found that, okay, overall McCarthy's favorability went up, but it went down with the MAGA Republicans and people tepidly said, okay, well, I guess they negotiated something.
I guess the Republicans got some stuff and yeah, okay, let's see it passed.
Now this thing gets passed.
Now the news cycle comes and goes a little bit.
And voters are still really concerned about inflation.
And what the numbers come out tomorrow look like they're going to show is that overwhelmingly by huge margins, all voters and especially Republicans think that this thing that got passed is really going to cause more inflation.
And I think this just comes back to when you ask people, are you going to, you know, should they pass this thing or not?
They don't know what's in it. They're trusting their leaders.
And one of the themes has been that Republicans don't have a lot of trust in their leaders.
They want new leaders, they don't get them.
They want them to make decisions on principle, and they don't see that happening.
And here's another case.
This polling gave McCarthy, I thought, all the ammunition he needed to ask for everything, and it looks like that's not what happened.
steve bannon
It did, and he didn't, and he didn't because of the donors.
Okay, let me be blunt. The initial deal that we didn't love but we supported because, hey, you pass something and it's a start.
$1.5 trillion in a cap in a one year to put it back into April or May of 2024 at the railhead of the general election.
Because we know, and you look at CNN and others, we know, and you look at Rasmussen, When the American people who they obfuscate how the finances of the country work, when the basic working class American and the middle class, when they start to understand the facts with their common sense, They go, like in the CNN poll, 60 % says there should not be any more debt until there's significant cuts in the federal budget.
45 % of Democrats.
The establishment knows that.
The Uniparty knows that.
That's why they say we can't put that in the braille head.
We'll have a real national debate, a real national discussion on this, as we should.
We can't do that.
In addition, the donors...
Remember, McCarthy is 1,000 % tied to the donors.
The donor said, you can't do that because all of a sudden, with the bigger gap we're going to have because the economy is slowing.
Eurozone today, officially, Europe went into recession.
The ones that use the euro technically went into recession.
The second quarter, they had to recast first quarter, two quarters in a row of negative growth.
Only 0.1%, but negative growth.
In a recession in Europe, China just announced yesterday, exports drop, wait for it, 8.5%.
Why? Slowing demand in the United States.
I would love to say that's decoupling, but it's not.
It's because of lack of demand here.
Ergo, economy slowing down, less tax revenues, bigger deficit, bigger firestorm, higher inflation, higher interest rates, working class person crushed.
Again, all of a sudden they're going to say, well, hold it, you got to cut, you got to cut, but maybe we ought to raise taxes.
Maybe we ought to raise taxes on the wealthy.
Maybe we ought to do that. Maybe we need that part of the element.
Maybe we need to use that tool in the toolbox.
Remember, you're being played by the rich.
The wealthy control, the party of the Republicans, the old, and you can see it on this nonsensical presidential campaign.
We listen to stuff so you don't have to.
If I thought any of it was important, we'd be doing clips and cuts.
It's so irrelevant.
They're from a, oh, we have young generation with new ideas.
It's from a land that time forgot.
It's all donor-driven, happy talk, mumbo-jumbo.
The donors do never want a national debate and a national discussion on the size and reach of the federal government and who pays for it because they understand, okay?
Particularly the Republican donors who are all quasi-progressives.
There's very few. How many MAGA people do you have actually write big checks?
I can tell you not many.
This is why Kevin McCarthy's captured by it.
This is the game.
This is what this group's trying to do.
They're trying to open the sausage-making so all of America can see it.
And they understand the first week of January, we're talking about rules and procedures, the driest, most boring things, and it was high drama.
And now this is kind of high drama.
Why? Because as Dingle said, you take the policy, I'll take the rules and process, I'll win every time.
And what we're trying to do is break the cartel.
Because the American people sit there and go, hey, we trusted you guys, but you basically approved the Biden regime.
You codified the madness that's gone on before, and now you've given them an open checkbook.
They can't defend it.
Now, one Republican of the 149, call them up, 202-225-3121, and tell the staffer, hey, put the guy on the phone.
Put the principal on the phone. I want to talk.
I want to talk to senior management.
I want to ask you, how is this cutting spending at all?
It's all a lie. And you gave the radical Biden regime an unlimited checkbook.
And we're not going to give it up because you're not going to give us some happy talk in the appropriations process.
We're here to save the nation.
And we're not going to back off until we're down the path to do that.
Until you get the finances right, until you get the finances right, it's not going to happen.
So everybody else is making...
Kevin McCarthy doing a great job.
Doing a great job kowtowing to the donor class.
He's the puppet of the donors.
Okay? And they don't want to have it.
They don't want to pay. We should take the Forbes 400 and show me anybody who's not a progressive lefty in there at heart.
They should be taxed to the gills.
They're creating this mess, and you're going to pay for it, and your children are going to pay for it, and your children's children are going to pay for it.
Homie don't think so.
Next in the war room.
Okay, I promise I'm gonna get to our great guest.
Mitchell, just one more time though.
Give me the headline about the American people about inflation and the debt.
Just give me that headline.
We'll probably be back tomorrow to do the crosstabs.
Just give me that headline because you've made my day.
mark mitchell
Give it to me, baby. Yeah, voters think that the deal that just passed is going to massively raise inflation.
And here's the thing. Republicans and Americans in general are fiscally conservative.
And so the Republicans had the moral authority on this to really just do whatever they could.
And here's what we got.
I think it's different now.
I think these congressmen pass, use these tricks.
I think people find out. I think your show helps.
McCarthy had kind of crummy favorability ratings among Republicans.
After January, he started speaking like a conservative and his favorability numbers went up and this happened and they went right back down again with conservatives.
So they know, right?
They're watching what's happening and a good chunk of people are going to tell us in polls.
steve bannon
Okay. Okay, I'm going to get Clark on here in a minute.
Clark's got a lot to talk about.
We're going to talk about this going after President Trump.
Let me say something, and we curate this.
We have a team, a vast team here, but we also have other people we talk to all the time and give us stuff.
I would literally have all these clips in the presidential race up here.
I thought it meant anything. It doesn't.
When I say the Keebler Elves, I'm not there to mock the individuals.
It's just, it is Keebler Elves, and it's so irrelevant.
There are two people here, President Trump in his policy statements and his rallies in his movement, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
that are actually speaking in a modern nomenclature of politics and what the issues are of the country.
And Bobby Kennedy, I realize Bobby Kennedy Jr.
is not everybody's cup of tea.
I understand he doesn't have policies on life and guns that are absolutely perfect and aligned with MAGA. There's no doubt about that.
But he's talking about the central issues facing the country as Donald Trump is.
And that's why the other stuff is irrelevant.
Mark Mitchell, I found it amazing the traction he's gotten given the little money, but here's what I find most stunning.
Whereas the Republican Party, and this is my buddy, my brother Dave Bossy and Rana, have now set up and bragging about it, right?
These, you know, 10 debates for the Keebler Elves, one per elf, right?
One per elf. Maybe they throw in two more.
So you've got 12 Keebler Elves, you get 12 debates.
They're all going to be on the stage, and they're going to be in Milwaukee, and they got all this Fox News, the typical thing, and they got to have a debate, got to sign a guy signing blood that you're going to support the nominee so they know Trump will never do it, and Trump should never be on stage with any Keebler elf.
On the other hand, the Democratic Party, I mean, they're up here on MSNBC, so there's not a primary, and there's never going to be a debate.
Boom, end of discussion.
They run totally different.
What are the people that actually vote?
Think about this, Mark Mitchell.
mark mitchell
Well, voters across the board want to see Biden debate.
I don't think that's any surprise.
For a long time, they've been telling us they don't think that he's calling the shots behind the scenes.
They think that he should take a mental cognitive test.
They're really concerned about his age across the board.
But Democrats still support the guy, and that's the real tough part for RFK. Let me tell you, that race there, to me, is the interesting one.
On the Republican side, I mean, maybe I'll wake up one morning and something will have happened the night before, and then I'll say, oh, maybe now it's a race.
But I can't, of all those candidates, think of a single really substantive differentiator from Donald Trump.
He's got the platform that Republicans like right now.
And aside from a few characteristics like DeSantis is younger or he doesn't tweet as much, I really don't see.
I used to work in startups.
What's the elevator pitch? What's Ron DeSantis' elevator pitch that's really going to get those venture capitalists to salivate?
I can't think of one.
But on the Democrat side, it's so fascinating because here you have really the Democrat Party, most specifically Joe Biden supporters, are really authoritarian statists, especially after COVID. It really got to them.
We got to the point where strong majorities of Biden's strong approvers wanted to see unvaccinated thrown into prison camps and prison for questioning the efficacy of vaccines.
And RFK is running against Joe Biden.
That's just absolutely incredible.
But unfortunately, it makes it really tough for Kennedy.
Now, he's sticking it out.
We asked a few weeks ago, and among Democrats, he was losing to Biden 62 % to 19 % for the nomination.
And in the latest numbers, it's seven points worth for him, but he still has 17 % of the vote, 67 % to 17%.
I think that makes sense.
The last time we really kind of nailed that bounce, and this is petering out.
But he's out there getting interviews, making headlines.
unidentified
But hang on. Hang on.
steve bannon
He did the big thing with Elon Musk the other day in the New York Times, and I think appropriately.
The headlines, screaming headlines, it was the lead story there on the website for a while.
Robert F. Kennedy and Elon Musk with the interview and Kennedy pitches far-right ideas and misinformation, far-right ideas and information.
His ideas are much closely, if he was in the Republican primary, He would be a legitimate second to Trump right now, with independence to Trump.
Your analysis did it. I think that the makeup of the voters, there are no Democrats voting.
There are no people that really identify as, because all the Democrats are radicals now.
They're socialist radicals, cultural Marxists.
Kennedy's not there. He's a populist, but tell me about your poll from a couple weeks ago that showed his supporters are basically the ones that want to change, the two-time Obamas and the one-time Trump, the independents, the Democrats are looking for more of a populist, right?
He's not really playing to traditional Democrats?
mark mitchell
Well, I mean, you could look at these numbers and see that RFK support is overwhelmingly coming from Republicans and independents.
Democrats like him least.
I don't think that's any surprise.
If there are populists left in the Democrat Party, I think they're probably Bernie bro type populists, but they're so lockstep.
And I don't know if it really is just how tuned into the corporate media they are or how Willingly they are to assume regime narratives, but look at their vaccination rates and the amount that they supported masking and just look at those people and how could those Democrats ever really support a candidate like RFK no matter There's different stances.
I think looking back to 2016, Trump had a great platform, but there were things that people questioned Trump about, but they still came out and supported him.
I think even now he has some takes that his supporters don't like, especially the vaccine one.
But that's not a deal breaker for Trump because they believe he has his heart in the right place.
He's fighting on the things that matter.
And that's why I think conservatives and open-minded independents are more willing to Follow RFK, too.
Maybe they don't like his energy stance.
But they're both anti-establishment candidates.
And so I think that's the real political spectrum that matters.
It's the establishment and the anti-establishment.
And right now, Biden is the establishment candidate.
steve bannon
But just last thing before I let you go, talk about the polling number itself.
Still a vast majority of the Democrats, it's not polling number, the debate number.
They do want to see RFK up on the stage with him, right?
mark mitchell
Yeah, man, I almost didn't say the headline.
74 % of all voters think that Biden should debate his Democrat challengers on national TV. 73 % of Democrats and only 17 % of Democrats say no.
So it's across the board. Everybody thinks that Biden should debate.
And I think they know what RFK stands for.
I think they're getting that information.
Unfortunately, this polling was taken before that Twitter event.
I wonder if that would have moved the needle.
They still support Biden.
I think that they think he needs to be put through his paces, and I think they're right.
steve bannon
Mark Mitchell, how do people get to all the great polling you're doing over there at Rasmussen?
mark mitchell
Yeah, our Twitter's blowing up.
Please follow us at Twitter, Rasmussen underscore poll.
Everything gets copied over to TruthGetter, but Twitter's where the real conversation is at, because people can take our tweets and then tag the public officials and rub our numbers in their face.
Would have been great to have a lot more of that going on with Kevin McCarthy two weeks ago.
So Twitter's awesome, and then follow us at YouTube, too.
steve bannon
Mark, thank you very much.
Glad to have you on here. Clark.
Real quickly, people should know, there's a bunch of things happening, although they sent people home, and there's things happening on this oversight situation, there are things happening on the pistol brace situation, there's lots of negotiation and debate about what's going on across the board in other aspects of operationalizing the floor now that it's been seized.
One of the things that's going on is people, they tried to take a victory lap the other day at this conference, their Tuesday morning conference, and They got shredded.
People stood up and said, what are you talking about, right?
I've been watching War Room. I've seen people come up there, individuals, etc., and that's not happening.
Now they're actually out in separate rooms in certain areas doing due diligence.
Jeff Clark, one of the big areas of contention, brother, Is what you brought up on the permitting.
Can you just give us a quick synopsis of where we stand?
Because this is a big bone of contention that you got nothing.
In fact, you actually maybe even went in reverse.
And they're trying to show all these perturbations.
Oh, no, no, this is going to be amazing.
It's going to cut trillions of dollars and make energy much more prevalent.
jeffrey clark
Jeff Clark. So, Steve, thanks for having me on.
Yes, I think the headline on this is that just yesterday, in fact, in this mainstream which obviously tilts left or super left called Law 360, the environmentalists and environmentally oriented law professors, they were all taking a victory lap for the NEPA stuff.
Modest changes, they said, you know, very modest changes.
They realized that actually this didn't accomplish anything for Republicans, especially as I pointed out, right?
It's the first real NEPA reform that, you know, of any length that in 50 years And it's not doing anything.
And in fact, some of them recognize, and it was part of the victory lap, that it's going to give extra powers to Joe Biden to control NEPA under regulations that he issues and decisions he makes about it.
So it's a total bust.
And here's my other summary point.
It seems to me that Kevin McCarthy and Garrett Graves, they sold out their patrimony, the leverage they had to fight on the debt for a bowl of porridge.
You know, that's what this permitting reform is under the NEPA statute.
It's not worth a lick of good.
steve bannon
And here's what I think galls people.
It's the way it was presented and the way it was put forward as this huge thing and the permitting and this permitting was so important.
I think what rubs people the wrong way is that I want to take a moment because Grace has got it to me and if Denver can please put up the chart.
But give a call, 202-225.
And by the way, go into the online chats, and this is why you have the Getter or Real America's Voice at Rumble or over at Carly Bonet and the folks over at Midnight Writer.
Let's get that up there, because they have the direct L numbers.
I'll just give you the general number, but it's Andy Biggs, Dan Bishop, Lauren Boebert, Ken Buck, Eli Crane, Matt Gates, Bob Good, Ralph Norman, Matt Rosendahl, Chip Roy, Keith Self, and we're throwing in Clyde as the Dirty Dozen.
They're the fighters. They're 202-225-3121.
Give them an attaboy. Call and say, hey, we have your back.
We love the fight, and we're down for the fight.
If your representative's not on that list, but they still were the 73 or voted for, you know, the difference between the 12 and the 29 that voted against the rule is what, 17?
Make, you know, give them a call and say, hey, what's going on here?
We love the fact you voted against it the first time.
If there's 73, say, hey, it's up and to your post.
Up and to your post.
If you don't think there's big dissension, I've got it up.
It's totally free. Go to Getter.
We've got it up here on Real America's Voice.
The punch bowl, Jake Sherman's punch bowl, the inside baseball, the inside baseball, be an insider, that punch bowl.
Jake Sherman interviews Scalise.
It's a brutal interview because he's saying, hey, I have no earthly idea what's going on here.
I don't know what deals were cut.
You know, we have a leadership team of Stefanik and Scalise.
You may not love these people, but that was all voted on by the conference.
He says, we're not part of this program.
We're not part of the deal. We have no idea what's going on.
And Embers barely has an idea what's going on.
He's the whip. He says he's got this group of guys that kind of, you know, are like, you know, commissars that go in and crack heads.
And people are tired of having their heads cracked.
They're saying, you ain't cracking my head.
We're gonna crack back.
That's what this fight's about.
This fight's about money and power.
That's the only thing that moves the needle in the imperial capital.
It's spiritual warfare manifested on the House floor.

Trump versus DeSantis on taxes.
In Congress, Ron DeSantis pushed a 23 % national sales tax, where the middle class pays more.
90 % of families would get a tax hike if DeSantis replaced the current system.
President Trump cut taxes a lot, lowering tax rates for everyone.
Trump cut taxes.
DeSantis tried to raise them.
Ron DeSantis, wrong on tax hikes, just not ready.

As I said, the Eurozone today announced they're in technically a technical recession.
It's, I think, 0.1 % negative growth.
But hey, if you ain't growing at 2.5 % or higher, you got an issue.
Right now we're going to be in, I said this, the Chinese just announced on the exports, remember all their numbers are lies.
So they're saying 8.5 % drop in, it might be 7.5%, I think they had 7.5 % drop in exports.
You know it's much higher, it's double digits, okay?
The world is obviously going into recession.
And you got high inflation, and you have, Stephanie wrote, yes, the inflation's high.
You're just going to have to live with it, okay?
Oh, we bent the arc, you've got to be technically correct.
Give me a break. You worked at CNBC. How technically correct is that, lady?
You've got recession coming on.
You've got this bill that's going to throw cash onto the dumpster fire.
And they're going to be coming back with the combination of AI and the recession.
The layoffs are going to be coming back and they're going to want another stimulus bill.
You watch. It's going to be a whole fiasco.
That's why I go now to Birch Gold.
And you see this. The Saudis cut The biggest thing the Saudis did this week, trust me, and I love golf, right?
And particularly watching championship golf, major championship golf.
The biggest thing that happened this week ain't the Saudis putting together the PGA, you know, merging the PGA Tour, which was broke, by the way.
It is the cut of the one million barrels because they see what's happening.
They see more devaluation of the dollar.
They're trying to get off the U.S. dollar, trying to get off petrodollars.
So go to birchgold.com right now.
What we do with Birchall and everything, we try to give you the inside baseball.
You're tired of being a Grundoon.
You're tired of just being somebody that gets fed what corporate media wants to feed you.
Wants to feed you.
We will give you a different set of information and you decide.
We're not telling you have to do it.
You decide. You weigh and measure it.
And you see what the outcomes are.
This is about you. This is what populism is about.
unidentified
It's back on the people.
steve bannon
Go to birchgold.com and make sure you understand about the prime reserve currency.
The greatest export we have is the United States dollar.
And man, has it been abused.
And it's been abused by this debt limit bill, which was not a debt ceiling increase.
It would just take the harness off and let the horse run free.
Not acceptable. Not acceptable.
But also find out when you go to Birch Gold, talk to Philip Patrick and the team.
I think Philip's going to be on here at 5 o'clock today.
Talk to Philip and the team about why the central banks in the world, why are all the countries in the world that have resources, why are they buying gold with two hands?
Record numbers in 22, 23 the same way.
Maybe you should savvy up and get the information, immerse yourself in the information, and you figure it out because you're smart enough to figure it out.
Jeff Clark, here we got the Comer thing.
I'll get more in a second. He's bad as Steve Bannon.
We're going to do a contempt charge.
I'm not sure it was going to be criminal.
They were going to do a contempt charge, my trusty assistant here.
I've taken my field of greens.
I've had my sleep on my pillow, and now I need to get further jacked up with a coffee.
They are, you know, we're fighting back and forth on this, on the new revelation of the Biden crime family deeper than the laptop from hell, and that would be this bribe from a legitimate informant and whistleblower that fear for their lives.
You had Luna on here the other day, Anna Paulina Luna, telling you that.
The FBI don't think they can keep him.
So now there's going to... Last night he gives up at least something.
Something. He gives up the document.
You're going to get to see it. You're going to get to see it, but we're going to pull it back.
You're going to get to see it, but no pictures.
You're going to pull it back. Think about it for a second.
The people at Treasury, they got to walk over to the Treasury Department to see the forms on the wire transfers.
They can't take them out. They got to, hey, FBI is going to give it to you.
We're going to give it to you, but we're going to take it back.
We're going to take it back. Look at it quick.
Make sure you look at it quick. Screw you.
Give us the information.
It's oversight. Separation of powers.
Founders set it up to, they should be deep down into Alexander Hamilton's files.
We want to know about the way the system works, and the way the system works is captured in the bowels of the system with information.
They know everything. Remember, when we're talking about those things at Treasury, those wire transfers, that's from 14, 15, and 16.
Hello! Last time I looked, that's 10 years ago.
The same with this situation.
This is from 17, I think.
The Praetorian Guard, it's just like the Roman Republic when it went to the Empire.
The Praetorian Guard that set the elite group of legionnaires, of Roman legionnaires, that were the emperor's personal protective service, their secret service, essentially, because you had a huge administrative state with the empire.
They got into the business of, guess what, selecting emperors.
Hey, maybe this guy's wanting his welcome.
Maybe it's time for us to make a move.
Right? That's why he had a series of generals that became emperors.
Why? The Praetorian Guard protect them until they thought they had to get rid of them, and then they went.
We've had a Praetorian. The Frank Church is commissioned by the Praetorian Guard.
You want to see the fate of Zelensky?
I keep telling him he's running his mouth talking this.
You've got to read the world memoirs.
Say, hey, bro, get a copy of The Best and the Brightest.
Halper Stamm's book. Get a copy of The Best and the Brightest.
Focus on the chapter of President Diem.
When they're finished with you, they're finished with you.
When you've worn out your welcome, you've worn out your welcome.
And that's why we have a Praetorian Guard.
It's so obvious. Why do you think?
We don't believe in conspiracy theories here, but there ain't no coincidences.
Right? When they're honing down now on, we need the goods.
We got the receipts. We want to see them on the Biden crime family.
Voila! Espionage act and an obstruction charge.
On good old Donald J. Trump.
For a collection of who knows what.
It's such a joke. Ask Navarra.
We'd sit there when you get our...
We got the daily briefings.
We don't get the president. We got our own personal briefings.
It was bespoke.
I get a bespoke briefing every day.
You know what my first question when these guys are giving this stuff?
Why is this classified?
Why is this classified? That upsets them knowing their heads start spinning.
unidentified
Why is this classified? Why is this classified?
steve bannon
Why is this classified?
It's a joke.
They're coming after Trump because Donald J. Trump gives you a voice.
