I'm going to read what Bart Gelman wrote in that cover story for The Atlantic.
Some might say this is hyperbolic, but John Hellman, I'm curious if you think it is.
The headline is, Trump's next coup has already begun.
Trump and his party have convinced a dauntingly large number of Americans that the essential workings of democracy are corrupt, that made-up claims of fraud are true, that only cheating can thwart the victory at their polls, that tyranny has usurped their government, and that violence is a legitimate response.
Hyperbolic or fact?

Fact, I think.
And I think the thing about the strength of this Gell-Mann piece is it lays out, first of all, the extraordinary reality that there's this research that shows that something like at least 8% and maybe as many as 12% of the American people now say that Joe Biden was illegitimate and that violence is an appropriate tool to removing him and restoring Donald Trump.
That's somewhere between 20 and 30 million people.
That's a mass movement in America in favor of political violence, which is a new thing.
We've had political violence in America before, lynching many things over the course of time that African Americans suffered from.
But this is 30 million people right now who are ready to take up arms.
You put that together with what the president, the former president I should say, and his allies are doing in the political realm.
State houses, state legislatures.
And the party apparatus to be able to engineer a situation where they are in a stronger position to pull off a coup in 2024 than they were in 2020?
That's not hyperbolic at all.

They're in total and complete meltdown.
All the articles today are about, you know, the radical nature of the Republican Party, how it's been taken over by Trump, etc, etc, etc.
Bottom line is, if you take the example of the Commonwealth of Virginia, this is democracy at work.
We had 95 percent, 95 percent turnout among election officials, volunteer election officials and poll watchers.
In the presidential election in 2020, we had 33 percent.
In the gubernatorial race four years before, we had 27 percent.
This is this movement.
This is the war room posse.
This is this cadre.
You're taking over the Republican Party at the precinct level with, you know, becoming precinct committeemen.
You're volunteering to become election officials.
You're also running to become election officials.
What you're seeing from the global elites, by the way, you're taking over school boards, the moms of America.
With some assistance, a good assist from the dads of America.
You're taking over all of it.
Right?
In your righteous indignation, you're taking this over as what Edmund Burke called the little platoons.
Right?
The little platoons of conservatism.
From the villages and the towns and the school boards, you're taking it over.
David Brooks, you ought to remember that next time you trash this movement.
And then quote Edmund Burke.
These are the little platoons.
And what they're not going to allow to happen is they're not going to allow what happened on 3 November.

They're not going to allow this election to be stolen.

CNN had a story on, we'll get to later in the second hour, about just amazing, amazing, amazing enthusiasm of this move and the tectonic plate shifts, I call it.
But in the Senate, you know, President Trump last night, another beatdown of Mitch McConnell.
I think he calls him the old crow now.
He's got this old crow meme going.
He's got the old crow and he's beating up on him.
But hey, very simple.
If you support McConnell, the only lifeline the Biden administration has, because Axios reported last night, wait for it, Build Back Bankrupt has been kicked into 2022.
They haven't gotten their work done.
So the continuing resolution, the infrastructure bill, the debt ceiling, all gifts of Mitch McConnell have kept this illegitimate regime on life support.
And what you're going to see, they're going to pass a death ceiling relief that through this gimmick, a gimmick that's going to come back and haunt us on other things, because they basically gave up the filibuster, trying to be cute.
Trying to be cute.
He had his buddies, 13 of them, allowed him to raise the death ceiling.
They're going to put the number, it's going to be $2.5 trillion.
We are giving the Biden administration the ability to spend $2.5 trillion between next week and guess what?
After the midterm elections.
This is 1000% on Mitch McConnell.
And if we want to deal with Mitch McConnell, if you call him the old crow and all that, but it's very simple.
We cannot support any candidate that supports Mitch McConnell.
You want to get rid of Mitch McConnell?
And all the devastation he's done to this country?
And the real devastation to come?
The illegitimate, decrepit, feckless, incompetent, radical Biden regime is on life support for only one reason.
The pure oxygen of your tax money, $2.5 trillion.
By the way, if you take the first relief they gave him back when we had him jammed up against the wall in September, which is $480 billion, let's add that on top of it.
$3 trillion from September to keep the Biden administration on life support.
That is a gift of Mitch McConnell, and I'm very honored To have in the war room today for the first hour, Kelly Chebaka.
She is running for the United States Senate out of Alaska.
So, Kelly, you're against, you're running against somebody that is flat out a Mitch McConnell's a big fan of the of the incumbent senator.
But she's got a long history, not just recently, but I want you to go through.
And walk our audience through so they understand the type of person that Mitch McConnell supports to come back into a Republican Senate.

Well, thank you so much for having me.
And you're absolutely right.
The only way that Biden has been able to stay afloat is because he's got these enabling officers in the U.S.
Senate.
Lisa Murkowski, who I'm running against in Alaska, is his chief enabling officer.
I call her Biden's CEO.
But Mitch McConnell's right up there.
The only way Biden has been able to push through his business busting, common sense canceling, defense decimating, energy annihilating, gun grabbing, Illegal immigrant-inviting, liberty-loathing, parent-punishing, socialist-supporting, radical, America-annihilating agenda is through people like Lisa Murkowski and Mitch McConnell.
And it's through them giving them headroom, just like you said, saying, oh no, we're not going to raise the debt ceiling.
There's this eloquent letter penned a couple months ago that they completely caved over on.
This tells us two things.
Number one, we are no longer divided between Republicans and Democrats.
We are Americans and this political elite that holds itself up inside Capitol Hill, builds walls around the Capitol, but we can't have a wall, funds the Capitol Police, but we can't fund our police.
Mitch McConnell and Lisa Murkowski are deep inside this party.
We need more Americans in Capitol Hill.
We have some up there.
We need more.
The other thing is Mitch McConnell thinks we're stupid.
This is an absolute admission that he thinks he can hide behind this little Medicare lamppost and we don't see the big boogeyman behind it.
I don't hear a single American out there in real America talking about Medicare.
They're talking about how the Republicans allowed the debt ceiling to advance on this.
They are completely complicit, and they're saying that this is like, oh, our hands are off.
It's crime by omission.
This is political malpractice.
We are not your insurance program.
Our hard taxpayer dollars, the value of our dollar that you're pushing up through inflation, We're not your insurance program.
We expect you to do your job, and your job is to represent America.
And that's why you're going to see a whole lot of leaders in the Senate, like me, not support Mitch McConnell for leadership, because he's anything but a leader.

I want to go through.
It's such a good phrase that I'm going to pay homage to Kelly Chewbacca and steal it in the future.
Chief Enabling Officer.
Let's I want to go back and be specific about because there's a pretty big charge against Murkowski who comes from a long line of quote unquote Republicans.
Why is why do you feel that she is the chief enabling officer of the Biden regime?

Well, let's start at the beginning.
First, one of the reasons Biden is in office is because of Lisa Murkowski.
Support from the Republican Party and going against Donald Trump at every step of the way, blocking his agenda and ushering in the Biden administration, this colossal blunder of an administration.
She was the deciding vote to confirm Deb Haaland as the Interior Secretary.
I felt that as a kick in the gut.
She said when she did it, this will hurt Alaskans, but I'm gonna do it anyway.
Just showing how much of a DC insider she really is.
Now, Deb Haaland has a long history of pursuing this energy annihilating agenda, ending all fossil fuel development in America.
And we knew that when the confirmation hearing happened.
She's been spearheading the agenda for Biden in this 30 by 30 plan and pursuing the Green New Deal.
Lisa Murkowski actually penned large parts of the so-called infrastructure bill, which is actually the Green New Deal.
Let's talk straight in Washington, D.C.
My mom always said, if you call it one thing and it's something else, you're a liar.
And so we are tired of politicians who are lying to us.
The Green New Deal, dressed up as infrastructure, was written by Lisa Murkowski.
She was the deciding vote to confirm Vanita Gupta, who's one of our leaders at the Department of Justice who has a history of defunding the police activism.
In Alaska, we have one of the highest domestic abuse and sexual assault rates in the nation.
We need help with funding our local police and public safety.
Lisa Murkowski's on the side of defunding the police, and then you've been covering very well all the snatch and grab and rise in crime at the expense of Americans because we don't have police presence and law enforcement funding and support from our senior politicians.
Now, our November elections told us separately, America supports us, but Lisa Murkowski and the political insiders continue to push through Biden's plan.
She was the one who broke the filibuster on the John Lewis Voting Rights Act.
Of course we should centralize voting in the hands of Merrick Garland.
We can trust him with everything.
Right now, he punishes parents who speak out their mind at school boards.
But Lisa Murkowski wants to take away our right to control our elections in Alaska and in your state and put it in the hands of Merrick Garland.
These are the kind of things Lisa Murkowski is doing and that she just joined McConnell in raising the debt ceiling, covering their blunder at our expense.
Let me remind you, Lisa Murkowski sits on the Appropriations Committee.
In the decades since she won her election in 2010, there have been nine times they haven't passed an appropriation bill on time.
They're doing it through crisis budgeting with the CRs.
It's a performance failure and we're expected to cover and make up for it by raising the debt ceiling.

Kelly's brought up an amazingly smart and good point about the appropriations.
The reason we're kicking the can down the road with the CRs, and we could have jammed them up, because they will not come forward and tell us Why they're spending this money and how they're going to fund a structural deficit of one trillion to one and a half trillion dollars a year.
The reason that we don't have a bill to pass right now, make them force the Biden administration to come before the American people and explain it, is that in the Senate they spent all their time on the phony infrastructure deal, all their time on the Build Back Better, when they should have been taking care of the basic requirements for the country.

This is her MO, where she's complicit in making the damage happen, but thinks that she can make it all disappear if she issues talking points, and Alaskans will be fooled.
We're not fooled.
We know that she's the one who pushed through the nomination of Deb Haaland as the Interior Secretary, and Haaland has been championing Biden's energy-annihilating agenda from day one, attacking Alaska's energy sector.
Murkowski says that this is going to end oil and gas on federal lands.
She says that this was preordained conclusions designed to push through Biden's campaign promises.
We all knew that from the beginning, Murkowski.
That's why we've never been able to figure out why she cast the deciding vote to confirm Deb Haaland.
Alaska's workers are paying the price for Lisa Murkowski's popularity with the DC Insiders.
She's been the chief enabling officer for this radical Biden administration, and the only one who seems to be surprised that radical environmentalists act like radical environmentalists is Lisa Murkowski.

Alaska is, the scale of it is incredible.
The people are incredible.
I've been honored to spend some time up there.
And it's an energy powerhouse under President Trump and full-spectrum energy dominance where we started actually not just became energy independent, we were exporting energy everywhere, creating great jobs.
How does a senator from the great state of Alaska, how do they support this radical Interior Secretary when, as important as the Interior Secretary is to the West, To Montana, and Wyoming, and Idaho, and Colorado, and all the states out in New Mexico, Arizona, where the government owns so much of the federal land, right?
But in Alaska, you know, it's to the 10th power.
How does she support a radical Interior Secretary?
How does she support the Green New Deal infrastructure program?
How is she so anti-energy?

Lisa Murkowski has become a D.C.
insider.
She's not really Alaskan.
She doesn't really represent Alaskans.
When you talk to the thousands of Alaskans I've talked to, they'll even mention how they call her office.

She says, I'll return your call, and she never returns the call.
Lisa Murkowski doesn't give a lick about Alaskans.
What she cares about is being popular with DC Insiders and the people who pay for her US Senate seat.
You can look at her FEC contributions the same as I can.
She gets a ton of money from radical environmental groups whose interests are completely opposed to that of Alaskans.
So she confirms people like Deb Haaland and Gladly People like the Interior Secretary under Barack Obama, Stacey Jewell, who also did a number on Alaskans.
We literally lost Alaskans' lives because Stacey Jewell decided to quote, listen to the birds over the people.
And our people still remember this and hold it against Stacey Jewell.
But we don't remember necessarily that it's Lisa Murkowski who championed that appointment.
That's my job, to remind Alaska that that's what's happening.
We are not stupid.
Lisa Murkowski voting for Deb Haaland and then putting out talking points.
I just can't believe that they're radical environmentalists.

We were telling you this then.
Remember when you weren't picking up your phone?
When you weren't responding to our emails?
She absolutely knew what the record was.
We all can see what the record is, but she doesn't care, Steve, because she's not really interested in Alaska or Alaskans.
She's interested in staying in power, maintaining her political Murkowski dynasty that she inherited from her father when he gave her his Senate seat, appointed her to it, and she's funded by these people who want these interests in Senate.
That's what's going on.

People like McConnell back you, just like he's backing her now, against the interests of Alaskans.
Alaskans have censured Lisa Murkowski and said she is not allowed to run as a Republican.
The Alaska Republican Party has endorsed me, which means our national political Republican leaders are defying the state of Alaska Republicans and Republican Party.
Doesn't this violate the 10th Amendment?
But do D.C.
political insiders care?
No.
Does the war room care?
Absolutely.
And that's why you all have been helping me, and it's been working.

They had to fight their way into working-class Alaska.

I was the first in my family to pursue a college degree.
I got into law school.
After law school, I ended up taking a position with holding D.C.
insiders accountable, shrinking government, cutting costs.
Holding them accountable, exposing waste, fraud, and abuse.
One of my cases went all the way to the U.S.
Supreme Court.
You don't hold D.C.
insiders accountable without the threats.

I learned that they try to cancel me before there's cancel culture, and I learned how to stand up to the fire.
I've always been a mouthy conservative, and I voiced my opinion at Harvard, and that got me death threats posted regularly in the Student Common.
So that'll refine you really well.
It prepares you to run for the U.S.
Senate.
I've been taking flack from the left since... I don't want to brag, but I was in Harvard when I was 19.
I've been taking flack from the left since I was 19.
And then after that, only had a public service career because serving Americans is what's important.
My dad served in Vietnam.
He went up and said, I'll give my life for my country.
And those values are in us.
We have one of the highest military service and veteran population percentages of any state in America.
We love our country.
We love our state.
We love our service members.
And those values are all in me.
My family is a fighter.
I'm a fighter.
And I've been taking on DC Insiders and the political elite this entire time.

People, I want to make a connection between the inflation that's out of control, which is driving Biden into historically low numbers, inflation out of control, and energy prices, right?
This energy price is inextricably linked to this Green New Deal fiasco.

Wow, so if I could control it, remembering I'll only be one of many members, but man, if we had our way, if America had its way, we would get rid of the Green New Deal part of this infrastructure bill.
It seeks to ban carbon from the environment and punish carbon users.
Carbon is synonymous with oil, gas, coal, minerals, Alaska.
We're banning Alaska from the environment.
There's no plan to become energy independent or sufficient again.
It's to give all of our jobs, all of our work, all of our energy economy, even our environmental standards over to Iraq, Iran, Russia, and China.
Those people are horrible for everything, and they're our foreign enemies.
So if you care about national security, you care about energy, you care about workers, you care about the environment, you want to open Alaska and get rid of this Green New Deal infrastructure bill penned by Lisa Murkowski to hurt Alaskans.
But you know, she's going to do it anyway, in her own words.

She only wants to stay there for the title.
She only wants to stay there for her ego.
She needs to get out.

When you add these bills together, the dollars go past the moon.

We need to we need some time to think through how these how these electors were certified.

Senator, you had a massive victory last week.
We tried to get you on, but I know you were traveling.
School mass mandate struck down by Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Walk us through how you blew up the the Wolf administration in Pennsylvania about this.
That's a huge victory for parents and a bigger victory for our school children.

Great to be with you as always.
Great victory for the people of Pennsylvania.
You know, the people of Pennsylvania made a historic vote back in May to limit the governor's powers during these emergency times because he unilaterally governed here for over a year.
The people of Pennsylvania rejected that.
He tried to circumvent the people again with the Attorney General Josh Shapiro to use the Secretary of Health to implement some of his mitigation efforts instead of allowing the school districts to do it.
You know, this was never about masks.
This was always about the rule of law and separation of powers.
And the Secretary of Health doesn't have the authority to just, out of thin air, develop regulations that the people of Pennsylvania had to adhere to.
You know, this is the decision that's best left at the school district level.
No one has more at stake than protecting their kids and the schools.

I think, if memory serves me correctly, you're running for governor against Shapiro.
Shapiro's the Attorney General.

You know, the Supreme Court's 5-2 Democrat, but yet they sided with us because it is the rule of law.
I mean, the Secretary of Health doesn't have this type of power.
We've said that all along.
The school district should be empowered to make these decisions.
They're made up of parents.
They're made up of community members who have more at stake in the community safety of our children than anybody, not some bureaucrats in Harrisburg.
But he argued against us in court for whatever reason.
I'm not sure why he chose that path, but he did to back up the governor.
And fortunately, even though it's a slain a Democrat Supreme Court, they sided with us.

Let me ask you, so many people we know in such a big war room audience in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, obviously very focused on the governor's race.
How can you ensure The War Room Posse, this thing's not going to get stolen like 3 November of 2020.
I know you've got these lawsuits, you're looking for subpoenas, you're fighting Shapiro every day, but look, it's you versus Shapiro in this governor's race.
He's clearly going to try to do everything to have the same madness we had in November of 2020.
How are you, how can you commit to these folks out there that want to ring doorbells, knock on doors, be precinct workers?
How can you commit to people That we're going to get this thing sorted before we go to the ballot box in November 2022.

Well, our Intergovernmental Affairs Committee is holding hearings right now.
As you mentioned, we laid out subpoenas, which the Democrats, including the Attorney General, are fighting against.
But even while we're waiting for that court decision to come down to see whether we have the authority to do this investigation, we're still moving forward.
We hired a contractor to assist us with that.
So that we can get to the bottom of it.
Look, Pennsylvania had a governor last year vote illegally or earlier this year.
He voted illegally.
You know, he gave his ballot to his wife to put in a ballot box, which she's not allowed to do that.
We have videotape of on Election Day, November 3rd, of someone stuffing a ballot box.
You know, one of those, you know, the mobile boxes that they have.
We saw some issues down in Delaware County.
So clearly we have problems.
To argue that we don't have problems is just not looking at what's going on.
So look, we want to make sure the next election, that whether you're Republican, Democrat, Independent alike, that you have faith and integrity in the results of that election, because you can't have a democracy if you don't have faith in the results.
So, you know, it's always the line.
We want everyone to be able to vote who can, but we also want to make sure that the vote is fair and that people believe in the outcome.
Go back to 2016, right?
The Democrats fund this Russian collusion problem that they thought was true, which has been debunked later on.
So clearly people have concerns, and the Democrats always seem to want to have concerns when they have concerns, not when Republicans have concerns.

And Maricopa County already showed, I think, 80,000 votes.

Can we go forward until we get to the bottom and hold accountable?
Heilman in our cold open is melting down that 60% of Republicans.
It's much higher than that.
It's 80% of Republicans.
I don't know anybody, anybody that thinks Joe Biden was legitimately elected that's a Republican.

What actually happened?
Here's what we do know.
The Cyber Ninja report from Arizona's audit said that the Arizona election never should have been certified.
That's not what fake news mainstream media tells you.
They tell you, oh, they found that Biden won.
No, they didn't.
They used what appear to be generally accepted auditing standards.
Remember, I have an audit background.
I read the report.
I think they assume most Americans won't because, again, they think America's stupid.
The report said it never should have been certified.
When you have that kind of a finding, you have a problem.
And speaking of problems, the reason we have this standard is because this is what our Democrat leaders gave us.
Back in 2000 in Bush vs. Gore, we had to look at every hanging Chad in Broward County multiple times to determine who really won the election.
In 2016, we launched a multi-year review with millions of dollars into a question about whether Trump was legitimately elected because Russia interfered.
Let's face the facts of what that is.
They are arguing, you played at the beginning, there's going to be this, you know, conspiracy effort to overthrow.

What they actually did, and it's proven, a bunch of Democrats under the leadership of Hillary Clinton fabricated evidence and got false FISA warrants and harnessed the entire power of the intelligence community illegally and unconstitutionally against Trump and his campaign team to try to overturn the results of the 2016 election.
That actually happened.
That's been factually proven.
And now they're sitting out there saying that we're the ones with the problem.
The ones that have a problem are the people who are still holding elected leadership positions and positions in our executive branch government that have not been held accountable for what we discovered under Devin Nunes's efforts.
This is insane and the fundamental rights of Americans being trampled on our Constitution by our elected leaders, these DC political elite.
That's what needs to be held accountable, and that's what I think you're going to see in November.
What they're doing is they're setting up their excuse plan right now.
They know they're going to lose.
They see it, and so they're going to blame it on this radicalization effort.
We're all so angry.
No, we're not.
We're full of hope, and we're empowered, just like Todd Beamer was on the fourth airplane on September 11th.
He could have sat back and been a victim and wait for his government-empowered solution to come handle the plane, but he didn't.
He said the Lord's Prayer, gathered a couple guys, and said, I think we can take him.
Let's roll.
And that's what you see Americans doing, common-sense Americans with courage, are standing up all across America and saying, hey, we've got something to say about this and we can take them.
And I'll tell you, I'm in rooms with Alaskans all the time.
We have concealed carry permits and we're also pilots.
I'm confident we can fly this plane.

But Lisa Murkowski is linked inextricably to him.
Everything he wants done in the Senate, she's happy to pass it through.
But then she'll issue a press statement saying, oh, I just can't believe they did that.
You did it!
And we all see right through it.
It's all about jobs.
Our workers know that we are being assaulted by the Biden administration and it's happening daily.

I want to talk to you about the spending, because right now we have these guys on the rope.
You've got the CR, which she's part of, which they've got a trillion dollar deficit every year, a trillion and a half dollars.
They haven't solved for that.

Then you've got the debt ceiling.
We now know the number's going to be about three trillion dollars overall, two and a half that they're going to fill in, but another half a billion, we've already got them.
Do people up there, the working class and middle class folks up there, understand the spending's destroying them?

Alaskans are intelligent, despite what Lisa Murkowski thinks about them, and they see exactly what's happening and how she's making it happen.
They understand that we only get out of a debt situation by selling ourselves over to countries like China, or taxing the working class more, or going and printing money, which drives down the value of our dollar.
Anybody wondered why it costs so much more money to get the same amount of groceries this year?
Alaskans absolutely understand, and nobody is handing out six to seven percent pay increases in Alaska to cover for the cost of Joe Biden.

There's going to be a public hearing on election integrity specifically for Pima County.
So let me step out of the way and just kind of set the stage for you, show you the room here, big ballroom here in Tucson.
up at the front, we're going to have a panel of legislators up there and there's a table in front of them for the folks who are going to be testifying.
And then all these seats you see here will be filled with folks from the community.
And really the purpose, Steve, of this hearing is to collect evidence and testimony that will ultimately prove or disprove alleged discrepancies in Pima's 2020 election.
And the goal is not necessarily to launch another audit like we saw in Maricopa.

There's going to be subject matter expert testimony here today.

Seth Keschel, Dr. Phil Waldron, or Colonel Phil Waldron, excuse me, will be testifying.
And more importantly, I think what's also unique about this hearing, Steve, today is that we're going to hear testimony from people here in the community.
Because ultimately, as Representative Mark Fincham, he says often, elections belong to the people.
Not to the government.
And so they want to have folks here in Pima County have their voices heard.
And they're going to have an opportunity to do that.
These folks who will be testifying in the community have been vetted.

I've already won our Alaskan Republican primary.
So I'm the endorsed Republican primary candidate.
Murkowski censured.
We're going to a ranked-choice election.
in November. That sounds super scary to a lot of people. It's not. We only need 50% plus one person to win the election. So let's look at data because data matters. Last November, both Senator Sullivan or other Republican senator and Donald Trump won with between 53 to 54% of the vote with a double digit lead over the next candidate.
That's how conservative Alaska votes.
Lisa Murkowski only has votes to lose.
We've already raised more money from people inside the state of Alaska than Senator Sullivan did for his whole campaign last year and Murkowski did in 2016 when she was popular.
Now she's unpopular.
Our popularity rating is hovering around 8%.
Even the Democrats are mad at her because she keeps waffling.
So this election is absolutely winnable.
The way we do it is through media buys in Alaska, which is fairly inexpensive, and meetings.
I have to travel out to rural communities.
I've been to 24 rural and tribal areas already, sleeping on the floor, getting weathered in, suffered some frostbite.
I'm willing to do whatever it takes to reach as many Alaskans as possible.
