| And when you look at the Bannon story, for example, Bob Woodward and I said to ourselves, we're going to go back to January 6th to what happened in this dangerous transition period. | ||

| And we all knew about Rudy Giuliani, President Trump, their roles, they were outsized figures during the transition period. | ||
| But as we started to report and sit down with sources for five, six, sometimes 10 hours longer interviews at length, you started to realize there were other players in this whole period who had significant influence. | ||
| John Eastman, the conservative lawyer who we put in our book, we put in the memo, drafting a memo about how they could try to throw the election to the House of Representatives, not certify it for Biden, have Vice President Pence essentially give the election to the House Republicans to give to President Trump. | ||
| And Steve Bannon, he's now known as a podcast host, A conservative figure popular on the far right, but he's also someone we realized who was talking to President Trump in the final days of the Trump presidency. | ||
| Talking to President Trump even on January 5th, the eve of the insurrection, and saying to President Trump, based on our reporting, Kill the Biden presidency in the crib. | ||
| January 6th has to be a reckoning. | ||
| These were moments that had not been reported, and it shows how so often we ask the question, Brian, we did it so often on your show, where are the top Republicans around President Trump? | ||
| Where is Leader McConnell, Leader McCarthy? | ||
| That's not always the story in this modern GOP. | ||
| It's about some of the fringe figures, the outside figures, who actually wield significant power in these times. | ||

| Rudy, I want to, first off, Rudy, the nation owes you a great Debt of gratitude for being indefatigable, not backing off, hunkering down for the good of this country and the good of the Republic. | ||

| Up on Capitol Hill right now, they're in a complete quandary in a meltdown. | ||
| And one of the reasons they realize they have zero political capital, because Biden's numbers have imploded, have imploded because of the way he's tried to execute on these radical policies. | ||
| But the reason these numbers are historic, unbelievable lows, is because he never started at the base that they said he did. | ||
| Rudy, on the eve of Arizona, walk us through this fight, really this crusade you've had to get to the bottom of 3 November and to be just relentless in it. | ||
| Tell us about what your thoughts are on the eve of Arizona, and where do we go from here when we start getting the receipts and start getting the facts that Arizona is going to provide, then Georgia, and then the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Wisconsin? | ||
| Well, Steve, I mean, they can't accept, I was listening to Costa before, they just can't accept the fact That there was significant fraud in the election. | ||
| First of all, there's no doubt about that. | ||
| I mean, 500, 600, 700 affidavits, maybe a thousand witnesses, all different people. | ||
| You and I, we were confronted with that. | ||
| And what I was fighting for, and I continue to fight for, is a fair election, a democratically elected president. | ||
| And I was confronted with hundreds of people Coming to me and telling me they observe fraud. | ||
| I'm just, I'm a reporter of what they said. | ||
| It's not my opinion. | ||
| It's based on, you know, you've been to my house and I have a room full of affidavits from people from Pennsylvania, Arizona, Michigan, Georgia, American citizens. | ||
| I'd say at least 20% Democrat who say they saw all these various kinds of fraud. | ||
| The biggest one with the paper, The phony paper ballots, but all other kinds of fraud also. | ||
| Underage people voting who never voted, people from out of the state voting, people voting two or three times. | ||
| 7,100 people showed up on election day in Pittsburgh and they were told they had voted already. | ||
| And that's not a few people, 7,100 people. | ||
| Of course they voted already. | ||
| Their name was attached to a phony ballot. | ||
| Same thing happened in Arizona. | ||
| Now, if they do a good job, all of this will come out. | ||
| And all you have to do is take out a pencil and paper and add up the amount of votes that were fraudulent. | ||
| And in every case in the states you mentioned, it would affect the margin. | ||
| It would mean that Trump actually had more votes than Biden in that state. | ||
| Now, I can't let that rest. | ||
| If I'm a good, a decent citizen, how can I let that rest? | ||
| They want to make me out whatever they want to. | ||
| I have to live with myself. | ||
| And they're a bunch of liars anyway. | ||
| I mean, Woodward, I know what Woodward does with his book. | ||
| You've written books. | ||
| They tell you to put things in there that are not true that'll sell the book or exaggerate things. | ||

| Let me ask you about this book in that Bill Barr and Lindsey Graham are two of the characters in actually, one's in the Senate, obviously the other one's the Attorney General, they're some of the biggest voices telling Trump non-stop that Rudy doesn't know what he's talking about, there's nothing there, you lost, you lost basically in a landslide, you gotta give this up, you gotta be a good boy and just go along with this, and the President's fighting the entire time. | ||

| Why are they sitting there saying, Rudy doesn't know what he's talking about, there's nothing here, and there was not even, forget big fraud, they couldn't even see small fraud. | ||

| I mean both of them I really admired Barr and then something happened to him. | ||
| Somebody's got to find out what happened to him. | ||

| attorney and they would not take it, like in Georgia. | ||
| But we had a whole situation in which we caught them burning ballots. | ||
| We tried to get the U.S. | ||
| attorney and the FBI to go stop it. | ||
| And we knew about it from other federal agents who told us. | ||
| And they wouldn't do it. | ||
| They let the ballots get burned 30 miles outside of Georgia. | ||
| That was the Trump-appointed U.S. | ||
| attorney and the FBI office. | ||
| I mean, the length and breadth of what they went to to take Trump out of office is probably the biggest story in American history. | ||
| Okay, and the opening chapter of the receipts will be tomorrow. | ||
| The discussion, all the hyperbole, everything will focus on Arizona, and then we'll go to the other states. | ||
| In the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, they're in a dogfight over these subpoenas in Georgia, the same way they're in the courts. | ||
| But in Georgia, you've got Raffensperger, you have Kemp, you've got Ducey. | ||
| These are all... I'm not naming any Democrats here. | ||
| I'm naming Republican Senators, Republican Attorney Generals. | ||
| So how's a rational audience supposed to think this is nothing but Steve Bannon and Rudy Giuliani and another group of wingnuts that just refuse to accept reality, refuse to accept defeat, sir? | ||
| You know what I would suggest they do? | ||
| Go get a tape of the hearing in Pennsylvania in front of Doug Mastroianni. | ||
| Listen to the eight or 10 witnesses who testify. | ||
| And then go to get the one in Michigan in particular, because I think those people were treated horribly. | ||
| And listen to them testify. | ||
| And then get some, maybe I'll put this on my podcast, put this on my site, and then get the two hearings in Georgia. | ||
| Listen to the young girl who comes in the first time she voted. | ||
| She walks in and they tell her she voted early. | ||
| And she starts crying because she was very excited about voting. | ||
| And we find out that they used her name on a phony ballot. | ||
| Now, there are thousands of these people. | ||
| Are they all lying? | ||
| I mean, do they all get together and lie? | ||
| You don't pay attention to these American citizens? | ||
| You just push them aside? | ||
| 3,000 affidavits. | ||
| Professor Clements, who was a former prosecutor, David Clements, went through all of them. | ||
| He said at least a minimum of 2,000 raised the level of evidence in any court of law in this country. | ||
| 2,000 of the affidavits of the 3,000 he went through. | ||
| There's been more since then. | ||
| This was five months ago. | ||

| We really didn't get started until December with the hearings. | ||
| We should have started those right away, because it took time to convince the legislators in Arizona, for example. | ||
| First time I told them they have the right to review this and make the final decision, they didn't believe me. | ||
| They looked at me, you know, I'm just a state legislator. | ||
| I said, you have more power than Congress. | ||
| Look at Article 2, Section 1, Clause 2 of the Constitution. | ||

| I'm putting out a statement today saying, based on what we already know, what we expect we're going to learn tomorrow when the audit report is released here in Arizona, I'm calling on the state legislature to expand the audit statewide. | ||
| This is just Maricopa County. | ||
| We have 14 other counties in the state of Arizona. | ||
| We need to show the breadth and depth and width and everything of this fraud that's been perpetrated. | ||
| And I also believe that We also need to have a statewide canvas, because that will be conclusive. | ||
| We know, Steve, whatever happens, if we're going to try to contest this election, we know that it's going to probably end up in the courts at some point in time, and we need a lot more forensic evidence, and I believe that that has to be done. | ||
| The other thing that I'm putting in my statement Is that when I'm governor, I put out a 10 point plan to make sure that our elections are secure. | ||
| That first and foremost makes the ban on ballot harvesting permanent because in HR 1 they're trying to get rid of that. | ||
| And the second thing is that we have voter ID for every kind of ballot cast at the state of Arizona, whether it's in person or in mail ballots. | ||
| And I won't sign any other legislation until that legislation is passed because we've got to make sure that we can show the American people, the Arizona people, that our elections are secure and right now there's a lot of doubt. | ||
| Congressman Salmon, the sanctity of elections are, you know, we have to have those. | ||
| People have to believe in this process. | ||
| If you see evidence, hard evidence, coming out tomorrow, and as you want to expand it to Pima, Pinal, and the rest of the state, other counties, and as you're saying, hey, we got to get to the canvas, because Navarro says the canvas not the count, you got to get to a canvas, statewide canvas, to get to the bottom of exactly who voted. | ||
| If the evidence comes back, Would you support what Colonel Rogers and others are talking about, a process to begin the decertification of the electors of Arizona? | ||

| Well, then in a couple days, they found out, oh, they're not deporting everyone. | ||
| They're just deporting a very small number of males, adult males. | ||
| Number two, two days ago, when Texas DPS and the sheriffs, like Sheriff Co, put their vehicles along the border, that immediately stopped incursions at that point. | ||
| That shows us that a show of force also Immediately stops people coming in. | ||
| So we have two things right there that show you all you have to do is take the right steps and people stop coming. | ||
| And number three, last month, a judge in the North District of Texas issued a nationwide injunction that is supposed to compel the Biden administration to put the remain in Mexico policy back in place. | ||
| The Biden administration announced three weeks ago, Oh, we're going to start thinking about it. | ||
| And we'll, we'll start talking to Mexico about it. | ||
| They don't need to have long discussions with Mexico. | ||
| They can do it right now. | ||
| That is the perfect excuse. | ||
| If the Biden administration needs to say something to its radical left wing, that, look, we have a court order. | ||
| We have to restart Remain in Mexico. | ||
| They could end this today by restarting Remain in Mexico and by following federal law, which says you have to deport or at least initiate deportation proceedings against every single person under that bridge. | ||
