Well the virus has now killed more than 100 people in China and new cases have been confirmed around the world.
So you don't want to frighten the American public.
France and South Korea have also got evacuation plans.
But you need to prepare for and assume.
Broadly warning Americans to avoid all non-essential travel to China.
That this is going to be a real serious problem.
France, Australia, Canada, the US, Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, the list goes on.
Health officials are investigating more than a hundred possible cases in the US.
Germany, a man has contracted the virus.
The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this demon hide.
Japan, where a bus driver contracted the virus.
Coronavirus has killed more than 100 people there and infected more than 4,500.
anthony fauci
We have to prepare for the worst, always, because if you don't and the worst happens, War Room.
unidentified
Pandemic.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
Okay, welcome.
It is Tuesday, the 20th of July, the year of the Lord 2021.
Now with north of 68 million downloads of the podcast, you're live.
We're in the War Room.
Had an intense discussion in the first hour, some top experts around about the situation of this virus worldwide, what's happening to these governments in France, the United Kingdom and the United States.
At each other's throats, people at each other's throats, and of course no one is pointing the finger at Beijing and trying to hold anyone accountable.
And it's an intolerable situation and something's got to be done about it.
So we're going to have Alan Duke join us in a moment.
I want to make sure our sponsor, MyPillow.com, go there right now.
Promo code War Room.
Got sales and everything on towels, on sheets, two-for-one Giza sheets.
Towels, a special deal on the towels, a six-pack of towels.
You've got the toppers, the two-inch toppers.
These sales are not going to last forever.
This is kind of the midsummer specials.
Particularly, you've got these pillows, the pillows with the Bible stories on them.
You'll want to have these.

We've got our own square right there next to Sean Hannity on their page.
Make sure you go and see all the special things you get for going to promo code WORM.
Really appreciate it.
Appreciate the support.
Mike Lindell be on tomorrow.
MTG and Mike Lindell gonna be on back-to-back.
Explosive news coming out with Mike Lindell about he's laying out for the 10th, 11th, and 12th in Sioux Falls.
But his announcement tomorrow is going to kind of trigger things as it goes forward.
So I want to invite everybody to to watch. I know Alan Duke at Lead Story, covers Mike Lindell non-stop. He joins us now.
And I think last time, Alan, you told us, not only a veteran, but you're a redneck from Georgia. And I think also your great-grandfather served in the Army in Northern Virginia, General Lee's Army.
unidentified
Sure.
steve bannon
It must have been from Georgia, but it's Cobb's Legion, right, was the famous, I think, regiment that one of the regiments, a couple of the regiments served.
unidentified
I had a grandfather, a great-grandfather in that Army.
steve bannon
You had a grandfather?
You had a grandfather?
A great-grandfather.
unidentified
And a great-great-grandfather.
steve bannon
Great-grandfather, yes.
unidentified
Right.
steve bannon
Yes, yes, yes.
unidentified
My great-grandfather, Duke, was a Sergeant Major.
And I think that's only relevant to let people know I'm not from Beijing.
steve bannon
No, well, that was...
So, listen, Rahim and Natalie, as you know, have done a tremendous amount of reporting on this, and you're the founder and editor-in-chief of Lead Stories, and you also do the Facebook.
There's all this controversy about the Wuhan lab, and we continue to say the only two stories that really matter, and there's many, many stories in there, but narratives, are to get to the bottom of 3 November, and to get to the bottom of the Wuhan lab, because you get to the bottom of those two, everything else becomes clear.
And so, they've posited today, given their reporting, what they're working on, that hey, not only did it come out of Wuhan, but it's clearly part of some sort of biological weapons program with gain-of-function experimentation, paid for, a lot of it paid for, by U.S.
taxpayers, right, unbeknownst to them.
And Fauci's going to get grilled today, I think, by Rand Paul over in the Senate, which we'll pull.
Rahim and Natalie are now saying that this is all part of a bioweapons program and this was intentional.
And if you look at the geostrategic things that have happened, you look at France is on the edge, the United Kingdom is on the edge, clearly here in the United States, we're on the edge.
Even guys like Wolf up in Pennsylvania, his approval ratings to governors are now down into the 30s.
A lot of people are blaming him because of his response.
I don't think we know.
I'd just like to get first before we throw the ball out to everybody is your response I mean in the Wuhan lab you've been particularly I guess one of the guys have been the the the fact-checkers What is your opinion or beliefs and analysis of the CCP virus of the kovat 19 and what happened in Wuhan? I?
unidentified
Don't think we know There's there aren't the facts there We've done fact-checks since early on as to what we what was known and what was not known what was evidence to support We never flat out made a conclusion of what the origins are because there is no flat out conclusion.
I know just as recently as the last few days and weeks in a World Health Organization, And others are, uh, and the Biden administration are reexamining what it is.
We just go with the facts.
We, we don't know.
We don't have any special knowledge.
Uh, what we do when we do a fact check, uh, back in, uh, I guess it was April of 2020.
I know we did a fact check about, was it a bio weapon?
And, uh, if you look at our fact checks, we just looked at what was the available evidence and what was not.
And when we do a fact check, we, we.
Look at several aspects of the claim and concluded that at that time it could not be supported, that it was a bioweapon.
But we don't know.
How would we know?
But I'm very interested to hear what Rahim and Natalie come up with.
We'll closely look at whatever they publish, if they have some revelations, and we'll have our team look at it and fact-check it and see if there's support for that.
natalie winters
I'm sure you will.
Hi, Alan.
Thank you so much for coming back.
So you just said that you've never made any conclusions about the origins of COVID-19, yet that kind of seems to be at odds with the fact that your organization has really been responsible for getting a lot of content removed from Facebook with regards to people who are questioning the origins of COVID-19.
So I just want to real quick point you to an article that your site published February of 2020, and the title is FACTCHECK, and then in all caps, just to emphasize it, it says, But no evidence coronavirus is bioweapon leaked from Wuhan lab.
That sounds pretty definitive to me.
But what's so interesting about this article, and maybe you'll retract it on air after I explain this to you, but there's two things.
One, there's only two pieces of evidence that you cite in this article.
One of them is a statement from a researcher at the Wuhan Institute of Virology who says, quote, the Wuhan Institute of Virology has no infections and the patient zero did not come from us.
Pretty sure there's a lot of conflicts of interest there.
And the only other piece of evidence that you use in this entire article to really bolster that claim and that title is the Lancet statement.
Now, maybe you know, but I'm sure the Warren audience knows, that the Lancet statement just about a month ago, the lead author, the person who spearheaded this whole 27-person signed letter, actually had to remove himself from the commission.
Actually, he was told to leave.
Uh, because he had so many conflicts of interest with the Wuhan Institute of Virology because he had been conducting research and the Lancet Journal was actually forced to issue a statement revealing these ties which inevitably led to his recusal from the commission.
So I'm just curious, those are the only two pieces of evidence that this article used to support your claim that there is quote no evidence coronavirus is a bioweapon leaked Our fact check said there is no evidence that China created and unleashed this as a bioweapon.
Communist Party researchers and recused statements and retracted statements from the Lancet Journal as gold?
And if so, why should we trust you?
unidentified
Our fact check said there is no evidence that China created and unleashed this as a bioweapon.
And in April of 2020, when we published this, there was no evidence and it was not given in the article.
Or actually, that was a video that we were fact-checking.
That specific piece of content that we were checking did not provide any evidence of this.
And in fact, I think on our third sentence, we said, official confirmation of the virus's origin may take years.
Most scientists believe it originated in animals at a market in Wuhan.
Of course, that now is being challenged.
But we were pointing out there was no evidence of it.
We didn't say that it wasn't.
steve bannon
We said that there was no evidence.
Alan, hang on one second, hang on one second.
I think, and correct me if I'm wrong, fact checker Natalie, I think you asserted, I think what she's saying, let's go to the structure, and this gets about fact checking.
I think you asserted There is no evidence.
And that assertion, you cited a Wuhan actual researcher itself and Lancet, which has been completely dismissed.
In fact, the guy's done.
You haven't taken the thing off.
So you made an assertion.
There is no evidence.
To back up that assertion, you cited two pieces of evidence.
And that was one from the guy inside the lab itself.
And then you cited the Lancet, which has been proven to be Completely, even Lance has been embarrassed.
unidentified
Is there new evidence?
Rahim and Natalie have new evidence?
steve bannon
But hang on, hang on, don't go there yet, because I think this is the point of how narratives get shifted and how everybody, then everybody reports back, goes back to you and say, hey, Alan Dukes and the guys at Lead Stories, and Alan Duke has spent, you know, forty years at CNN and he's got this great reputation, he's already cited, then that, then your article is cited, but it's based upon not just shifting sands,
Kind of, and I think that's the point she's trying to get at, that this is something so important at the time, particularly in April, it was absolutely essential to get to the bottom of this and you had a story, let's be honest, that story on the fresh market is so ridiculous.
You would have had to have had it near the Laotian border, come out of a bat cave, into an animal that, in the thousand miles to Wuhan, no villages had it, there's been no animal that's seen it had it.
And that is just, that is kind of a joke.
It's not even a serious, as that narrative has fallen.
But at the very beginning of this one, it was so important to be open-minded and even-handed, you asserted, categorically, there was no evidence.
And in the evidence, you cited things that are, in hindsight, redonkulous.
Right, Alan Duke?
unidentified
Right.
Well, this was in April of 2020, very early in this whole process.
And again, I'm saying we're looking forward for Rahim and Natalie's evidence so that we can look at that.
natalie winters
Well, you should look at State Department cables, the fact that the Wuhan Institute of Virology has deleted webpage after webpage.
unidentified
We'll publish that and let us look at that.
natalie winters
We have published it.
raheem kassam
We'll send it to you.
unidentified
Have we fact-checked it?
raheem kassam
Alan!
Did we fact-check it?
You can't.
Alan, I would imagine that you're not a Holocaust denier, right?
unidentified
I'm sorry, let me turn your volume up a little bit so I can hear you better.
raheem kassam
I would imagine that you are not a Holocaust denier, correct?
unidentified
No, I believe that the Holocaust was real.
raheem kassam
Fine.
Up until the first concentration camps were discovered...
People said exactly what you just said on air.
That there is no evidence that these things exist.
And there was no evidence that those things existed until they were happened upon and exposed to the world.
It took people, brave people, who cared and who had either hunches or analysis or intelligence or sourcing that these things were happening, these atrocities were happening.
It took those brave people to figure out what was happening and it took even braver people to stop those things happening.
So I want to go back to this point with you from a moral perspective, from a philosophical perspective, from a historical perspective.
Alan, you cannot put a story on your website in February 2020 that cites the Wuhan lab itself.
unidentified
Did you reference our article?
raheem kassam
I actually... Can I just... Let me just finish.
Alan, let me just finish the point.
Let me just finish the point.
You can have all the time in the world.
Sure.
You cannot lean on the Wuhan Institute of Virology itself and a now discredited Lancet study.
Alan, do us all a favor.
Take the article down.
unidentified
And the one from... Did you see...
natalie winters
April 2.
unidentified
We're talking about February.
You also looked at the April article, right?
Where we did a follow-up article.
steve bannon
She wants that one.
She wants that down too.
natalie winters
This title is fact-checked.
There is, again, you have all caps on no, but there is no evidence China created, then unleashed coronavirus as bio-weapon.
unidentified
So I think you should also take that one down.
Natalie, if you wish, if your content has been flagged, if you're concerned about this... No, this has nothing to do with our content!
natalie winters
This is not our story!
raheem kassam
This is to do with your content, Alan.
We're done with our content.
We're on to your content.
steve bannon
Alan, hang on.
I think this goes to the reason that Mike Lindell, you know, wants you to be in Sioux Falls.
You are... I mean, you're head of the whole Facebook thing, which is, you know, the... I'm not head of the whole Facebook thing.
Well, I mean, the fact checkers.
But even the White House is sitting there going, the Surgeon General is telling us the biggest health crisis we have in America today, single biggest health crisis, not AIDS, not cancer, not smoking, it's misinformation, right?
You're at the apex of that.
And I think that that is why, you know, you've been selected for this.
And the point is that Mike Lindell takes you very seriously.
Mike Lindell tells me today, he said, Steve, you got to work Alan.
He's got to come to, I understand he's got a family thing, but he's got to be in Sioux Falls because Mike Lindell understands the power that you have.
And I think with great power goes great responsibility, to quote a famous movie, right?
And with that responsibility, particularly at the beginning of this, at the railhead of this narrative, you came down hard as kind of cover for the CCP.
I tell you what, think about that.
We've got to take a commercial break.
We're going to return.
It's Alan Duke, once again, live with Natalie Winters and Rahim Ghassan.
We're talking about the Wuhan lab, talking about the Chinese Communist Party, talking about the virus that started it all.
unidentified
We're going to be back in a short moment.
War Room.
Pandemic.
With Stephen K. Bannon.
The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this demon hide.
War Room.
Pandemic.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
Okay, go to MyPillow.com, promo code WARROOM.
Got all the specials, particularly the Bible Story pillows, $19.99 each.
There's five of them.
Check them out.
You can become an heirloom into your family.
Also got the towels, the Giza sheets, the toppers.
Go to our, what's called a square.
You go there, you see everything that we've got special under promo code WARROOM.
Appreciate your support, and particularly appreciate the support of Mike Lindell and the Freedom Fighters, and I promised Mike Lindell I would talk Alan Duke into attending Sioux Falls 10th and 11th and 12th, although he has a family obligation that's concerned.
That's, by the way, that's a regard that Mike Lindell holds you in, Alan, understanding your position of power.
And I think he gets the thing, with great power does go great responsibility.
You know, we're talking now, people in the West are talking, if this was a bioweapon of which they've signed all the bioweapon treaties and been caught cheating all the time, this is potentially an act of war, and this is how important your position is, right?
And so can you respond to... I want you to respond to Natalie and to Rahim, and then we've got other topics we want to go through.
unidentified
Right.
First of all, let me say we are working to get our key staffers to Lindell's symposium.
It's very important for us.
We have airline tickets booked.
It's just a matter of some things that Lindell is...
steve bannon
Allen.
unidentified
Nothing like Sioux Falls in August that I'd rather be at.
steve bannon
Hold it, hold it.
unidentified
Hang on, hold it.
Stop.
steve bannon
You give me the man.
Don't give me the man of the people.
I'm just a redneck from Georgia.
Virtue signaling to the right.
We fought with the Army in Northern Virginia.
And then say it's too hot in Sioux Falls?
unidentified
First of all, it's like the 42nd latitude parallel, right?
Not lately.
steve bannon
It's breezy up there.
unidentified
Not lately.
We do have our top guy, my co-founder Martin.
Shink has his airline tickets all ready.
It's just a matter of Some paperwork that Mike is aware of.
steve bannon
We've already... Alan, Alan, hang on.
Is that the guy from Belgium?
Oh, is this your guy from Belgium?
unidentified
Yes, he's the expert.
steve bannon
First off, note to self.
Note to self, because of your early reporting, we're still quarantining.
The guy comes from Europe.
He should have left two weeks ago and been in St.
Martins or somewhere quarantining.
We can't get him in his suit in that time frame.
It's got to be Alan Duke.
unidentified
Believe me, there's no one who'd rather be there than Martin.
Second in that is me.
I think it's great.
And maybe we can, if that doesn't work out, we can do something remotely, just like we're doing right now.
Let me respond to a couple of things.
First of all, we've done several fact checks, and the one in April, let's specifically refer to that.
I think you've seen that.
Well, first of all, let me say, as far as the example of the Holocaust, the Holocaust The fact that it happened isn't proof that we can't prove today something that will be found true later.
That's not an analogy.
And as far as the April article, the information we were debunking was something that was sourced from the work of a Chinese scientist.
And it was a scientist working at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Who's studying bat coronaviruses, that's who we're quoting in that now if we can't if you could if we can't I Should say that the Epoch Times was quoting this they were using the Wuhan scientist as their source So if we can't quote Wuhan scientists, then how can they?
the point there, but yeah, you're right if if Somehow we find out that this was a bioweapon, specifically created and unleashed.
That's extremely serious.
As you know, I was in the U.S.
Army.
I'm aware of how serious these things can be.
But there's no evidence of that.
And so we shouldn't go off to war or think about that.
You know, you can't just, because you suspect something, make a conclusion like that.
And there is no evidence.
Again, looking forward to Raheem and Natalie's work.
To show different, if that's the case.
Great.
So let's see it.
raheem kassam
We will make sure you get it.
unidentified
Please, if you want to have a symposium, I'll come to it.
raheem kassam
I'm not a symposia guy, but for you I might put one on.
You can come and see the Hunter Biden's laptop at the same time.
We'll put it all in the same room.
unidentified
That would be great.
raheem kassam
Alan, back to the point.
Back to the point I was making.
At this point, is it or is it not true that While the Epoch Times may have quoted a Wuhan lab virologist not as an authoritative source, but rather as an example of the propaganda that was being pushed out by the Wuhan lab, is it not the case that this is effectively like you quoting Himmler on the existence of a concentration camp?
You would have quoted an SS General about a concentration camp.
How is that different?
Let me praise it a different way, because that's an open-ended question.
I don't want to waste your time.
I don't want to waste your time.
unidentified
Alan, let me ask you a different way.
raheem kassam
You take money from Bike Dance, right?
You take money from Bike Dance, right?
unidentified
I have a contract with Bike Dance to provide some services.
raheem kassam
And they pay you money in that contract, right?
Money is in that contract, right?
unidentified
By the way, they weren't in February and April of last year.
They weren't our clients.
raheem kassam
That's fine.
natalie winters
They liked your fact-checking on Clue, but so much, they hired you.
raheem kassam
Alan, wrong response.
steve bannon
Alan, you auditioned for them, and then they hired you, is what you're telling us.
unidentified
No, we didn't.
raheem kassam
Alan, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite, bite Hold it!
steve bannon
Brother, I'm just taking you.
You said they weren't a client at the time, but then... I'm just saying, connecting dots here in the old world.
unidentified
You made a conclusion because we were getting paid by somebody.
steve bannon
No, you made a conclusion.
Then they said, let's go pay this guy, it'd be even better.
raheem kassam
Alan, do you think it's possible for you to be a neutral source on this given the fact that you openly take money from a I've not been requisitioned by anybody in the Chinese Party.
subject to article seven of china's national security law which states that any company any person any institution can be requisitioned by the chinese communist party at anytime for any national security measure do you think i've not been a revolution by anybody in the chinese party that's not what i asked you out of your tear money in america i don't have a nice party company who in belgium are american company in belgium now we're not in belgium You have co-founders in Belgium.
Your software is from Belgium.
Your algorithm is built in Belgium.
You're not an American company.
unidentified
That's true.
And we do international work.
Go ahead.
I'm sorry.
No, go ahead.
We're an American company.
I'm an American.
You know, in April of 1975, the Vietnam War was still going on.
You know this quite well, Steve.
I joined the U.S.
Army.
I took an oath.
And I became a U.S.
soldier, and of course we know what the major concerns were at that time.
And Steve, you did something very similar to that.
I think you went into the Navy.
I didn't start fact-checking things to defend any Communist Party.
Hang on a second.
Hang on a second.
We're not questioning your patriotism.
steve bannon
No, I am.
raheem kassam
I'm afraid I am.
Why do you take money from a Chinese Communist Party company?
unidentified
I can't question Rahim's patriotism because he's not an American, right?
Or are you an American citizen now?
You are?
Well, welcome to the country.
raheem kassam
No, I'm not.
steve bannon
Hang on a second.
He's questioning the fact that the ByteDance is under these Title VII's with the CCP.
Just like many of the people that come here don't have the freedom to actually come here and be students, they've got to report back.
That they're under Title VII with the CCP, that they can be used and are used as a national asset of the CCP and the PLA.
The question he's asking you is, do you feel comfortable, as a fact checker of such renown that you work with Facebook and these other companies, do you feel comfortable being on retainer with a company that has a direct tie to the Chinese Communist Party and to the PLA and is included as a part of a national asset?
unidentified
I feel very comfortable in the relationship that we have with all of our clients and the work that we do.
We're not influenced by any of our clients on our conclusions, The targets that we look at, the content that we debunk, has nothing to do.
You know, Facebook doesn't tell us what to debunk.
And certainly, first of all, we're talking about the Lead Stories project that you're referencing has nothing to do with TikTok.
That's not what we do for TikTok.
You know, it's public what we do for TikTok, and it's not publish these fact checks.
So yeah, I'm very comfortable with it.
I'm glad you're honest about it.
Because we have, I mean, let's look, people contract, you know, Walmart contracts with companies in China constantly.
So much, I think my iPhone was probably built in China.
You know, Apple has a contract with them.
Do they feel comfortable providing technology to people in the United States?
No, I'm very comfortable with it.
We have high ethics, we have a great staff, a very qualified People who are independent fact-checkers.
Speaking of those people... And they're not Democratic donors.
By the way, let me say this.
raheem kassam
Right, great, thank you, thank you, thank you.
Last week, when I was on... Let's roll tape on this.
unidentified
When I was on... Can we keep you over the break, Alan?
I'm right here, you don't need to roll any tape, please.
Let's go right here with the moment.
Natalie made a comment, and I know you've put this in some of your stories in the past, and we've actually responded to this in print.
That 100% of our staffers are Democratic donors.
No.
That's not what I said.
raheem kassam
That's not the claim.
unidentified
100% of the donations made from people on your staff.
raheem kassam
100% of those who have made political donations have donated to Democrats.
Different claim, Alan.
You're a fact checker.
You should be able to get the claim right.
Alan, we've got to go to break.
Can we keep you over the break?
Yes.
Alan, can we keep you over the break?
unidentified
I'm here.
raheem kassam
Okay, great.
We've got to go to a break in a second.
steve bannon
Let's do a short commercial break.
I want to propose.
I like this symposium idea.
If we put forward the evidence of it's from the lab, and it's a weapon, and have Alan tear it apart.
raheem kassam
Fine.
unidentified
Okay?
raheem kassam
Fine with me.
steve bannon
We'll pull that together.
And I think we can talk Alan into it.
He's not coming to Sioux Falls, so he's got some free time on his hands.
By the way, Alan, tomorrow Mike Lindell is going to make an announcement.
I think you and your staff are going to be particularly interested in it.
It's going to be a big announcement about the whole run-up to Sioux Falls.
So Mike Lindell is going to be here.
We're going to take a short commercial break.
Alan Duke from Lead Stories, the founder of it, with Raheem and Natalie Winters.
Be back in a moment.
unidentified
War Room.
Pandemic.
With Stephen K. Banham.
The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this demon hide.
War Room.
Pandemic.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
Okay, the great Mike Lindell is going to be here tomorrow.
He's got an explosive announcement tomorrow.
We know Alan Duke and the folks over at the Fact Checker lead story are going to want to be all over it.
He's also going to lay out a program that lays out something happening every day in his run-up to Sioux Falls, where he says that he's going to present to the world all the data, all the information.
What we say is the air game.
This is slightly unrelated to the ground game in Arizona and in Georgia and in Pennsylvania what's going on now he says and he's gonna be able to prove he says categorically without a doubt that the Chinese Communist Party hacked the 2020 election which I think would be considered an act of war but he's going to say he's going to show that show it all taking on all comers that are qualified in in the hacking world in the cyber world to do that.
I want to make sure everybody goes to MyPillow.com, promo code War Room, CR Square, you've got towels, sheets, pillows, particularly the Bible pillows on sale.
So go there today, check it out, we're right next to Sean Hannity on their homepage.
Alan Duke, we'll give you, and by the way, the audience should know, I love being the monitor here of the two tigers to my right.
Voice of reason, and particularly Natalie.
Natalie's playing Smasher.
So Alan, you want to respond to the last one?
Particularly, I guess it's some aspersions being put on your staff that all they do is give to Democrats, sir?
unidentified
Yeah, let me quote.
Raheem, you said, what percentage of their staff donated to Democratic Party candidates?
Natalie said, quote, I believe it is 100%.
Fact checked.
Zero percent.
of our current staff.
And as I pointed out, your reporting more than a year ago, I think, pointed out that we did have a writer who had at one point given in $3, I think $2 and $3 increments of money.
natalie winters
It was $99 donations in total.
unidentified
Yeah, very small increments to Bernie Sanders.
That we took the staffer off of doing any political stories after that, and the staffer then was gone.
raheem kassam
Well, I'm very pleased that you acted on our reporting.
unidentified
Well, and that was one staffer.
You know, that was one person.
And we did not know about that.
And we were careful about vetting.
We don't have anybody who's donated to political parties that I'm aware of.
And if you know of any, you let me know.
steve bannon
And we'll deal with it.
How careful were you about vetting if the guy made 99 individual donations before it was brought to your attention?
unidentified
Well, I still don't... I'm not sure that it was 99, but I remember it was a total of... Are you calling Natalie Warner's a liar?
First of all, that was more than a year ago, and once we found out about this, there were $2 and $3 donations, right?
Isn't that right?
And what was the grand total?
Do you recall?
About $1,800.
No, I don't think that's the case.
I'll fact-check that.
I'll go and look at that.
But that's really history because that was one staffer.
steve bannon
I just want to be clear.
I just want to be clear.
You took action.
unidentified
But for you to make the comment that 100% of our staff had donated to Democrats.
Now that's what gets you fact-checked, Natalie.
steve bannon
Alan, Alan, Alan, once again.
We're not being fact-checked.
raheem kassam
You're being fact-checked.
steve bannon
Hang on.
I'm robbing this train.
They're not saying that.
They've never said that.
They said that donations made.
unidentified
We have the video.
raheem kassam
I reviewed the video.
steve bannon
Donations made.
unidentified
Hold on, but I just want to get to one other thing.
steve bannon
You did take action.
unidentified
Yeah, we did.
steve bannon
You did take action based upon Natalie Winters reporting.
unidentified
Now, we take it very seriously.
steve bannon
That's a scalp.
It's a scalp.
unidentified
No, it's not a scalp, please.
These guys are so funny on Twitter.
First of all, let me thank you for increasing my Twitter following because I really don't do anything to promote it.
steve bannon
Your last performance here went viral, dude.
unidentified
I absolutely won that.
raheem kassam
last week i've got a chance to talk about it uh... all of the public unless performance here went viral do dollars and i don't know the one i got a lot of people to see the face of evil i'd absolutely wonder allen with women picking a limit let me let me move the conversation on this real quick nationally Sure.
natalie winters
Speaking of Twitter, we can hash out political donations another time.
We've said from time immemorial that 100% of the donations that people on your staff, those who have donated, have gone to Democratic candidates.
unidentified
That's a twisted interpretation.
natalie winters
There are a couple of social media posts that I would like to bring to your attention, and I hope Denver will support me in this and put up the correct pictures on the screen.
To start with, one of your lead stories fact-checkers, Alexis Terrajouk, I hope I'm saying that correctly, she tweeted in 2016 in response to a convention.
unidentified
2016, we're talking about six, seven years ago, right?
natalie winters
that's my girl at hillary clinton and at barack obama was inspiring she also quote tweets a tweet from twenty seventeen talking about the day after trumps inauguration how she says i mean it at barack obama in response to him showing up to the white house the day after trump became president also responding to a video of barack obama where she says hi at barack obama miss you that was in twenty nineteen just a thanks barack obama uh... admits trumps inauguration twenty seventeen another individual reading last one one more thing one more thing
and then this one's a little unhinged but one of your copy editors her name's leslie uh... she tweeted ninety times over ninety times uh... talk getting trying to get people tagging various members of congress saying we want answers to strump up ties to russia releasing taxes will answer that question another post we will uh... why won't you hold trump accountable another one why perpetuate a lie trump needs to release his taxes another post trump promised to release his taxes and she also shared sleeping giants advertising campaigns
trying to get advertisers to drop right wing websites like a driver and and most One last thing and then the floor is yours.
Lastly, she posted a picture of a sign that says, resistance is patriotic and tagged at real Donald Trump at POTUS.
So how can you stand there and tell us that your staff is not biased when they are quite literally using their social media platforms to promote Joe Biden, to attack Donald Trump and literally promote the resistance?
How can you stand there and say that you're not biased?
unidentified
You've seen a tweet that has promoted Joe Biden?
You didn't show me that one.
You showed me tweets from 2016 and 2017.
Natalie, you were in junior high then, right?
natalie winters
Yes, Arthur Bryce, your fact checker, tweeted, what a powerful voice from Amanda Gorman with her poem for the POTUS inauguration.
She's only 22 or 23 years old, but has the wisdom and talent of someone way behind her years.
unidentified
Natalie, going back to 2016 and 2017 when two people tweeted a couple of Fairly innocuous things.
But they're not 100% of our... People have opinions.
You do know that.
I know you have opinions.
And we can't stop people from having some opinions that they might tweet in 2016.
That's not what this world is like.
That's not reality.
But let me tell you that we have a vetting process as far as our story production that goes through several layers of copy editing and checking with a staff That is the most independent and staff that you can find.
That's what has been our emphasis on finding this.
Sure, you could probably find a tweet from me from back when you were, you know, 2009 or 2010 saying something.
steve bannon
But there's one thing to have, you know, one of them was from the inauguration this year, right?
No, no, no.
They were off 2017 or 2016.
No, that's not correct, Alan.
unidentified
We've got them on screen.
They're off 2017 or 2016.
raheem kassam
No, that's not correct, Alan.
unidentified
We've got them on screen.
Why would you lie about that?
Slow down.
raheem kassam
We'll put it on the screen right now.
Put Arthur Bryce up on the screen right now, let Alex see it.
unidentified
Arthur Bryce?
raheem kassam
There you go, it's on the screen right now.
natalie winters
One of your fact checkers listed on your website.
raheem kassam
Can you see it?
unidentified
Yeah, I'm looking.
steve bannon
As you're looking at that, hang on one second.
I want to go back to the Sleeping Giants one.
Because this is where it crosses the line.
It crosses the line when you've got a staffer that wants to incentivize or is pushing or is calling for Sleeping Giants to do the thing about taking down the advertisements on conservative media.
That's where you're actually trying to put conservative media out of business.
Okay?
So that's crossing the line.
That should be automatic termination.
If anybody's done that, this is no question.
unidentified
Well, I'll go look at that.
steve bannon
Four times.
unidentified
I haven't seen that tweet, and Arthur's not currently working for us.
steve bannon
Not Arthur.
unidentified
Leslie, the editor.
Thank you for pointing that out.
steve bannon
No offense, Alan, Rio, bro, you're supposed to be the paragon of fact-checkers.
Here you've got social media, which everybody checks the social media platform.
You've got an editor.
This is an editor that's promoting Sleeping Giants.
unidentified
In 2017 and 2016.
natalie winters
So she's been biased for that long.
steve bannon
By the way, 2017 is when the firestorm came through conservative media.
They all had the financial problems.
unidentified
Why?
steve bannon
Because of sleeping giants.
Sleeping giants were people on staffs of tech companies that during the time they were employed went out and screen saved everything every time an ad came up went back to people and this was the big this is how concern me to get we have that person possibly be an editor on your staff it should be a man someone waiting so they will you commit somebody tweeting support or opposition to something doesn't necessarily make them unable to be
unidentified
I'm on biased and straightforward as a journalist my god man hang up so are you guys leaving I was in a city donated the Democrats and then all the sudden became no of the donations we've made a hundred percent because we have more as which is Because it gets worse.
steve bannon
No, but Alan, it gets worse.
You've had an editor on your side.
We've got great staff.
unidentified
They're extremely professional and ethical.
We have a series of checks and balances to make sure that political bias is You have an editor that's promoting the weapon that was used against media to put him out of business.
I can read the tweet if you'd like.
natalie winters
At Snoring Solution, hello, you may not be aware that your ad is running on Breitbart News.
Would you consider having it removed at Sleeping Giants?
Tagging four separate companies doing that.
unidentified
And that was in 2017.
natalie winters
That was in 2017, February 5th.
unidentified
And we don't know where the ad is, right?
natalie winters
No, she tagged four separate companies.
unidentified
And by the way, let me say, the folks at Breitbart, Steve, your buddies at Breitbart, call them and ask them about us.
Have you ever done that?
Call him and ask your friends at Breitbart.
steve bannon
It's not the point.
unidentified
The point is... Well, I think it is the point.
I think that we have a record of dealing fairly.
And the other thing, the very fact that I'm talking to you right now, Steve, I think is evidence that we do deal fairly and straightforward.
We're not afraid of not talking to somebody.
Call Tom Fitton at Judicial Watch.
steve bannon
Ask him how many minutes, 30 minutes I spent on the phone with him yesterday talking about matter. We talk to people. You spent hours with Michael and Del. Michael and Del said he can't get you off the phone. Yes, we did a 90 minute phone call with six members of our staff.
When the defining moment comes and Sue falls all sudden you've got you know you've got something else to do but that's another topic but this gets me. No, I've had that plan for a long time.
Nobody said, Alan, no one said you haven't engaged with conservative media. The problem is is that the subterranean, you've got people that obviously have strong biases.
unidentified
We're not conservative. We're not liberal. We're not Democrat. We're not Republican. We're not red. We're not blue and for you to try to characterize my Like that is unfair.
You can go and pick out a tweet from 2016 or a tweet from 2017 that proves nothing.
Because look at our work product, which I know you have.
You disagree with that.
steve bannon
She went to the weapon, she went to the weapon that the left used, the progressive left used, to put conservative media out of business.
You know, Breitbart almost ran out of cash at that time.
unidentified
Was it successful?
Yes, very powerful.
Last I checked, Breitbart's doing quite well.
steve bannon
And again, all the top people at Breitbart are now saying what they think of Pete Storrs.
They all went through the valley of death.
Alan, anyway, we've got to jump in real quick.
raheem kassam
We've got one thing, just finally, on all of this.
I really do respect you coming on here and having these conversations.
I'm very grateful for it and I hope you'll come back.
You just mentioned something about your staff.
You said they have the highest integrity, these are great people, but you just admitted that you had to remove somebody from a beat because of their own political bias that we showed you.
unidentified
Something we didn't know about is the signal, not the noise.
We have a rule that you cannot have donated to political candidates.
We have a hard and fast rule and when we find out that that happens, we have to react to that.
If I said otherwise, that would be kind of hypocritical.
And by the way, hypocrisy is something I don't like.
But go ahead.
steve bannon
Alan, real quick.
natalie winters
Well, you won a COVID-19 fact-checking award, so how's that for hypocrisy?
steve bannon
Alan, thank you very much.
unidentified
I don't get that joke.
What was the punchline?
You know, Raheem and Natalie have this whole level of humor going that I somehow miss.
steve bannon
Hold on, hang on.
Can you stay through the break?
Just stay through the break.
We'll be right back.
unidentified
Oh my goodness.
It's time for breakfast.
War Room Pandemic with Stephen K. Bannon.
The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this demon hide.
War Room Pandemic.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
Alan Duke's been nice enough to stay over because Natalie was putting a shot below the waterline.
What's the last thing you said before we went to break?
natalie winters
I remember last time you were on and you just reiterated the sentiment that the founder of your company, he's not political, he just hates hypocrisy, and you just used that word.
So I was just wondering, and what I said before we departed for break, was that your organization, which I think we just talked about, Let's go back to the Lancet thing.
There were 27 scientists on that Lancet study.
I went back and looked at it and 27 scientists.
I think you've got that wrong, but let's not digress if you don't want to.
But I think you got that point wrong.
unidentified
Let's go back to the Lancet thing. There were 27 scientists on that Lancet study.
I went back and looked at it and 27 scientists. I think you've got that wrong but let's not digress if you don't want to. But I think you got that point wrong.
natalie winters
No, no, go back to the Lancet. Yeah, there were 27 individuals but you may not know there were emails released via Freedom of Information Act.
The individual who spearheaded that letter was Peter Doshak and he had to be recused from the Lancet COVID-19 Commission.
But that's besides the point.
My point now It's just you say you hate hypocrisy, but your organization won, from the Society of Professional Journalists, the award for COVID-19 fact-checking.
So I'm just curious, considering that you've quite literally been spreading the narratives and propaganda, and quite literally quoting Chinese Communist Party researchers, why do you think you should win awards for COVID-19 fact-checking, when you basically just admitted that there is a chance you may need to retract that story?
steve bannon
Or would you give it back?
Would you give it back and say, hey, we really don't deserve this, because we quoted No, no, no.
unidentified
The award was well deserved.
The award was well placed.
The hundreds, I guess, of fact checks that we've done have addressed misinformation, disinformation that if, as they spread, can be deadly.
Misinformation can kill.
And that's why we take it so seriously.
steve bannon
We agree.
Because no one's gotten to the bottom of what happened in the Wuhan lab.
unidentified
And we talked about that early in the show.
Show us the evidence.
steve bannon
But you agree.
You'll come back and we'll have a symposium.
We'll do one of our specials and we'll do this and we'll present and you can count on your staff can be on and counter.
We would welcome the opportunity to do that.
We think it's great.
unidentified
Well, Alan, I want to thank you.
Well, I just want to say, yeah, we were very proud of that award.
We're very proud of the disinformation that we've Concerning COVID-19, people need to get vaccinated, we believe, because we believe that there is evidence that it does save lives.
And that's really one of the things that is very important.
steve bannon
Do you believe people should get vaccinated?
Should people get vaccinated if they've had COVID-19 and have antibodies or T-cells?
unidentified
From what I understand, the medical evidence that I've seen would suggest that you would be safer if you're vaccinated.
I feel safer because I'm vaccinated.
I feel a lot safer.
And my family.
steve bannon
Our condolences.
But Alan, how do you get, give us, because I know our audience wants to follow you.
What's your social media handle?
How do they get to your site?
unidentified
Well, they're going to be very bored with my social media because at Alan Duke News I don't really tweet much other than just our stories.
Every now and then I might tweet to Raheem or Natalie just to say hi guys.
natalie winters
You don't follow me on Twitter.
steve bannon
Another fact check.
Another fact check, dude.
Another fact check.
unidentified
I follow Natalie on Twitter.
Go and check, Natalie.
That's why I'm here to help you with your facts.
raheem kassam
As of this morning?
natalie winters
As of this morning!
unidentified
No, not as of this morning.
natalie winters
As of this morning.
unidentified
I followed you several days ago.
As of last night.
L.A.
natalie winters
time.
steve bannon
Alan, thank you very much for coming.
I greatly appreciate it.
I look forward to having you back on.
raheem kassam
He doesn't follow me!
steve bannon
He doesn't follow me!
unidentified
I don't have to follow you.
You're on my timeline anyway.
My notification's always tagging.
raheem kassam
And I'm living rent-free in your head.
steve bannon
Okay.
Mike Lindell, I haven't closed it.
unidentified
No, you're not.
steve bannon
He wants you in Sioux Falls.
I've still got to work that.
Mike Lindell on tomorrow.
You're going to want to listen to what Mike Lindell has to say because it's going to be directly linked to you guys and to Lead Stories.
Alan, thank you very much for joining us.
Appreciate it.
unidentified
That's the nicest confederate I ever met.
steve bannon
People don't realize the power, I think people don't understand the power of these fact checkers.
And particularly the power to, this is what's so important about the first story, particularly with Lancet.
It's the ability to shape at the railhead the arc of the narrative coming out of the box, right?
raheem kassam
Right.
It's, you know, who controls the information?
It's all there.
You know, last time he came on and he claimed not to know who Orwell was, but the fact of the matter is, Orwell knows these people.
And look, this isn't personal about Alan Duke.
Alan Duke's actually kind of a charming character, right?
But this is about the point.
It's a very authoritarian thing what they're doing, which is deciding who are the winners and who are the losers in the course of human history, sans evidence, while being at the pay of the Chinese Communist Party.
steve bannon
By the way, the charming part, there were a lot of charming Nazis, I mean, when Edward abdicated, right?
And hanging out, and you had the Oswald Mosley crowd hanging out, and the Smidford sisters hanging out in Germany and Berlin and going up to the Eagle's Nest.
raheem kassam
They were all part of polite society.
steve bannon
All polite society.
Nobody's saying they're not charming.
Hey, Satan's charming, right?
The snakes are charming, right?
It's not about the charm.
It's about the facts.
Incredibly important and now particularly because the reason I want to have Alan on today, when the Surgeon General of the United States stands up at the podium in the Brady Room at the White House and says the number one health situation we've got right now is misinformation, right?
And that's why they're shutting everybody down and this whole, and remember this is not about the anti-vaxxers, it's about the vaccine hesitant.
In fact, this week we're going to have a special on the 12 most dangerous people in America.
We're going to we're trying to get some of the people actually on here.
But that report that was put out with Dr.
McCullough, Bobby Kennedy, Jr.
and others are saying that these guys are this is from the White House.
I mean, this is from the president of the United States saying in his staff that this is the most I should correct that Joe Biden and his staff saying that these are the most these are the most dangerous people in America.
This is information warfare.
And Alan Duke's operation is to try to be evenhanded, but cast narratives as they are.
Yesterday, one of the reporters came out and said, hey, I'm totally biased, right?
And all the reporters are biased, and it's obvious.
This whole thing about hypocrisy to me is a joke.
Okay, real quickly, thank you very much for coming in, Natalie.
unidentified
Thank you for having me.
steve bannon
Rahim, you have a podcast today?
raheem kassam
We had a marathon podcast yesterday that's fantastic, real news.
Go and check it out.
TheNationalPulse.com slash podcast.
steve bannon
Okay, we're back at five.
We're going to Peter Navarro, a packed show at five o'clock and then tomorrow, MTG and Mike Lindell.
It's going to be explosive.
Hour one is going to be explosive.
See you tonight and then tomorrow morning.
Thank you very much.
Being here in the War Room.
