Declaring war on the New World Order.
TruthRadioShow.com Shalom and welcome to the Dan Bedani Show on TruthRadioShow.com and welcome to the Gospel of John We're in our in-depth comprehensive study, chapter by chapter, of the book of John.
We are now on to chapter 20.
If you missed chapters 1 through 19, they're in our playlist and also available on truthradioshow.com on our platforms.
So what we do, guys, is we pray for wisdom and understanding.
It's our Bible study approach and we do this all the time because it's great to have the help of the Holy Spirit with us.
So, we pray to Jesus, Lord and Savior, Yeshua Messiah, our Messiah, our Redeemer, and we ask you to forgive us all individually of our individual sins and trespasses that we may have committed.
And Father, we come before you.
First of all, Jesus, Yeshua, we love you with all our heart and soul.
Thank you for everything you've done for us.
And Father, thank you as well.
Thank you for sending yourself and your Son into the world to die for our sins.
And Father, we love you with all our heart and soul.
And we ask you for the divine Holy Spirit, the divine comforter and teacher to write your word upon our hearts today.
In this case, the book of John chapter 20.
And we ask you to reach out to everybody here that's listening to protect us all against the forces of evil.
To comfort those who need comforting.
To heal those who need healing.
And to open All our eyes, so we can see the truth, and open our ears so we can hear the truth.
We ask you in your mighty name, we love you so much, Amen.
So, what we do now is we read the scripture in context.
We don't just read through the Bible.
If you want a site that just reads the Bible, there's a million other sites out there that can read it 10 times better than me just reading it through.
We don't do that yet.
We read it in context.
We examine every word.
If we don't understand a word, we'll look it up.
We'll get to know what it means.
So we want a real in-depth of what Jesus is talking about, what the Scriptures are talking about.
Because He is the Word made flesh.
So we read the Scripture in context, because context is key, and let the Scripture interpret Scripture.
Not us, not me or you interpret, I don't understand it, but through the Holy Spirit.
Let the Word interpret into us.
So let's begin guys, and thank you ShakenWakeRadio.com for carrying my broadcast here.
And those listening on ShakenWakeRadio.com, it's an audio edition, please open your Bibles to John Chapter 20.
And those watching on a video edition, we have the Bible right up on screen.
It's the King James Version.
But if you want to get your Bibles out too, please feel free to do so.
So anyway, What we did, right, and we gave you a demonstration of the last chapter, right?
And if you didn't see the last chapter, guys, stop it right here.
Go back and watch chapter 19, before you go any further.
Please.
So I gave you a complete demonstration of what the biblical historical accounts, regardless of what the Catholic Church teaches.
And the modern day Christian churches.
Because the modern day Christian churches back here in America, they never believed the Easter narrative.
In fact, Easter, Christmas, and those holidays were completely outlawed by Puritans and Christians in this country because they are not Biblical.
The Passover is Biblical.
And this account here proves that Jesus was crucified on the High Sabbath, which was a Wednesday, and rose on the Sabbath day, God's Sabbath.
And now I say, well, what about the woman Mary?
Going to the tomb Sunday morning.
Well, let's see what the Bible says, right?
Chapter 20.
So the first day of the week, right?
This is the Sunday, right?
As we just showed.
The Sunday, right?
First day of the week, right?
Mary Magdalene, early, right?
And it was yet dark.
It was still, it was yet dark.
So basically the sun hasn't even been up yet.
Right?
And it specifies that also in Matthew, right?
It's still dark out.
So, keep that in mind, right?
And mind you, here's the thing, right?
Well, Friday, right?
The Regal Sabbath prep day, right?
They prepared a bunch of spices and all that because they wanted to anoint Jesus' body, right?
They didn't get to Jesus on time.
Because the sun, once the sun sets, that becomes the Sabbath, right?
According to the Bible.
Not midnight.
It doesn't start the new day.
This is like, Friday night, when the sun goes down, it instantly becomes Saturday.
Not midnight.
They changed that in the 1500s.
There's Pope Gregory the Great, that blasphemy changed the times of God.
God's way is when the sun sets, that begins a new day.
That's biblical, right?
Anyway, they wanted to anoint his body right before, you know, they tried to anoint his body before the sun set, but they ran out of time.
So, they couldn't do it on Saturday because it's the Sabbath, right?
So, Mary Magdalene woke up very early Sunday morning.
The sun wasn't even up yet, right?
And her attempt was to go annoy his body with the oils, right?
The spices.
So Mary Magdalene, early, when it was yet dark, on to the sepulchre, right?
She went over to the sepulchre, the tomb where Jesus was, right?
And see if the stone had taken away from the sepulchre.
She seen the stone away.
Right?
Then she runneth and come, she went to Peter, right, Simon Peter, and said, listen, and to the other disciples, right, whom Jesus loved, and said to them, they have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.
So, she went there early in the morning, seen the stone away, and his body's gone.
She, instantly, she ran back to tell Peter and the apostles, listen, hey, disciples, I mean, the body's gone.
I don't know where they've taken him, right?
He's not there, right?
So, Peter, Therefore Wentforth and the other disciple came to the sepulchre, right?
So they ran down to the sepulchre to see with their own eyes.
And Matthew gives a lot more details about this.
So they ran together, both together, and the other disciple did outrun Peter and came there to the sepulchre first, right?
And he swooping down and looking in and saw Linencloth slain, and yet went he is not.
So they seen his clothes, but not him.
So, mind you, I don't know why it's not... Alright, yeah, alright, I'm sorry.
So, I'm just jumping ahead of myself, alright, so... Um, anyway, um, then... Coach Peter followed him, so... As soon as, um, the other disciple got there, right?
Right away, Peter's right behind him.
And he went into the scepter garden and seen the clothes laying there, right?
His clothes.
Both of them seeing the clothes just there.
Nobody's there, right?
And a napkin that was about his head, not lined with the clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.
So his napkin, which is the bandages and all that.
His clothes and bandages were just laying there.
Not his body.
Then went and also the other disciple, which came first into the temple, and saw and believed.
He's gone.
And as for yet, they knew not the scripture that he must rise again from the dead.
The scripture, I'm sorry.
And for they knew not the scripture that he must rise again from the dead, right?
So they're baffled.
Where is he?
Then the disciples went away again and then to their home.
But Mary stood without At the sepulchre, right?
Weeping, right?
So she... So, at the time it was Mary, Peter, here, and another... Apostle, right?
So there's three of them at the tomb.
So they went home and Mary stayed there, weeping, right?
And as she was weeping, she stooped down and looked into the sepulchre, right?
And she saw two angels in white sitting there.
The one at the head and the other at the feet, where Jesus' body had laid, right?
So, and they said unto her, Woman, why do you weep?
And she said unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where he has gone while they laid him.
I know not where they laid him.
So she's thinking they took his body and they laid him somewhere else.
Right?
And when she had said this, right, she turned herself back and saw Jesus standing right before her.
And knew not it was Jesus, right?
Now I want to point out too, the book of Matthew, Mark, and Luke talk about this, like before the apostles came.
Jesus, it's not mentioned in here.
Because each one of these guys gave their perspectives of the account of Jesus, right?
But it's not mentioned here, but it is mentioned in Matthew, Mark, and Luke, that it is mentioned, and it's very important too, right?
That when Mary got there early in the morning, before the sun set, there was an angel there that told her that he was already gone.
But she didn't know where he went, nothing like that, right?
So while she knew that his body was gone, she didn't know where it went.
The angel told her he was already gone.
Right?
So when, again, when she had said this and she turned her back and saw Jesus standing there and knew it, she didn't know it was Jesus at first, right?
And Jesus said to her, woman, why do you weep?
Whom, who are you looking for?
And she supposed him to be a gardener.
She thought he was a gardener or something, right?
Not known as Jesus, and said unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where he hath laid him, and I will take him away.
So in other words, if you know where they laid Jesus, please let me know, so I can go take him away.
And Jesus, not known as Jesus, right?
And so Jesus said to Mary, she turned herself and said unto him, Rabboni?
The rabbi?
Which is the same master, right?
So when she really got a good look at him, it's like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Rabbi?
Is that you?
And Jesus said unto her, Touch me not, for I am not ascending to my Father, but I'll go to my brethren and say to them, I ascend unto my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God.
So when she realized this was Jesus, she was like beside herself.
And she's like, Rabbi, is that you?
And he goes, yes.
But he says, don't touch me right now.
Because he's going to go send to the Father.
But he told her, go to my brothers there, the apostles there, and tell them that I am going to send to the Father in your Father, which is God, right?
My God and your God.
I'm going to the Father.
Let them know, right?
So Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord and that he had spoken these things unto her, right?
Now before we go any further, I want to get back to this, right?
This biblical account where we described it in the last chapter, right?
She didn't see him resurrect.
Nobody sees him resurrect on Sunday because he didn't resurrect on Sunday.
He was already gone.
And it's not described here, but when we did the book of Matthew, Mark, Luke, it describes it, especially Matthew, that an angel told her that he was already gone.
He didn't tell her where he was, but he was already gone.
Indicating that he was already gone.
Jesus said three days and three nights.
When he talked about Jonas and the whale.
72 hours.
And that fits it right there.
Three days.
Three days, three nights, right?
Friday night, okay?
We all could agree it's about three o'clock, right?
The Catholic Church preaches about three o'clock Friday.
Good Friday, they call it, right?
Which is nothing good about it.
It's a pagan holiday.
Nothing to do with Jesus.
So...
Good Friday, right?
Friday to Saturday, right?
3 p.m.
to 3 p.m.
is 24 hours, right?
3 p.m.
to, uh, whatever the sun, probably 5, 4 or 5 in the morning, right?
That's not even two full days.
How is that three days?
It's not!
And again, three days and three nights specified 72 hours.
That's not even close to two full days, let alone three days.
So, there's something wrong here.
The Bible's math is off, or the Catholic Church is off.
And I believe the Bible.
Because the Catholic Church conjured this up, guys, to protect their Roman holiday, the Day of Sun Worship.
They wanted to interject that with Nimrod's son, Tammuz.
The sun god, the resurrection of Nimrod, right?
With the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
They wanted to integrate Babylonian crap Mysticism into what Jesus is, a resurrection.
And Sunday, Easter Sunday, is Ishtar.
It's Horus's, which Tammuz is his mother, Isis, which is Semiramis, the wife of Nimrod, aka Osiris.
That's why they did that, they proclaimed that on Sunday.
And Easter has always been a holiday for thousands of years.
It's a pagan holiday for fertility.
Why do you think they use the Easter Bunny?
Because the Easter Bunny, I'm sorry, is the most fertile creature on the planet.
It has sex more than anything.
And the egg symbolizes fertility.
They've been coloring eggs for thousands of years, guys.
Long before Jesus.
Nothing to do with Jesus at all.
And I know that's going to rock a lot of people's foundations.
Because when I grew up, heck, Easter and Christmas were my favorite holiday because I thought they were of God.
But come to find out, no, they're not.
Those are nothing but traditions of man.
Man-made holidays.
They're not biblical.
Now the point is, do I swallow my pride and accept the truth?
Or do I continue to live a lie and worship on pagan holidays, thinking I'm worshiping Jesus?
And no, you can't take the day back for Jesus because the Bible says it has nothing to do with the ways of the heathen.
So I know people say, well, God knows my heart.
Well, if you say that, you got to ask yourself, you ask yourself, do you know God's heart?
Because if you knew God's heart, you would change your heart real quick to accept the truth that this was not a biblical holiday.
The Passover is.
This is detailed scripture, guys.
And it's hard to swallow, absolutely understand, but you know what?
We're grown adults, we're grown in the Lord, you need to accept the truth.
We've been lied to by churches and religions for years.
And I have to tell you again, okay?
Here in the United States of America, right?
When the colonists came here, the Puritans established here, the Quakers, the Christians and all that, when we all established here, right?
Easter and Christmas were not holidays.
They were outlawed for a reason, because they had nothing to do With Jesus.
And they knew the Catholic Church conjured all this up.
And that's why they outlawed all this stuff.
And it wasn't until the late 1800s when Christmas came here.
It was pushed here by the Catholic Church through propaganda.
Then all of a sudden Easter came, Halloween and everything else.
The floodgates opened wide for pagan and unbiblical holidays.
That's the reality guys.
Go do the research.
And as you're reading the scripture right there.
So anyway, there's Jesus appears to Mary Magdalene and he tells her, listen, don't touch me because I got to go see the Father.
So basically he has to remain like pure and untouched, you know what I mean?
So, and it's a spiritual application.
So he says, well, go tell the apostles.
And to let them know, I am going to send the Father and the Father is your Father as well.
My God is your God.
So Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen Jesus and he had spoken to her these things, right?
And then the same day in the evening, The same day when it started becoming night time now, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut, where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews.
So, they went in to shut the doors because they were afraid of the Jews, right?
Came Jesus and stood in the midst and said unto them, Peace be unto you.
So, at night time they went into the house, whatever, on a Sunday, right?
When it started, the evening set, right?
They went in the house because they were afraid, the Jews were ready to hunt these guys down.
Because now they got rid of Jesus, now it's time to get rid of his men.
So they don't continue spreading the gospel, right?
So, as they're in there in the house, right, Jesus appears to them, right?
He says, Peace be unto you.
Probably scared the heck out of these guys.
And when he said so, he showed unto them his hands and his side, right?
And they were, the disciples were glad when they saw Jesus, Lord, right?
Remember?
He was pierced and his hands had the holes in them, right?
Now remember, right?
Remember what Jesus told you a couple chapters ago?
He said to them, you gotta mourn for us, you gotta be distraught, right?
But, it'll turn into joy.
And at this point right now, they were distraught.
When they see Jesus, He showed the sinning hands and all that to show proof that I've resurrected.
Boom!
That anguish turned into joy.
Fulfilling what Jesus told them that was gonna happen.
Right?
So verse 21, then Jesus said to them again, And when he had said this, right?
His brethren unto them and said to them, Remember he said that so?
A few chapters back, right?
He told them, When I leave, I'm going to pray to the Father to send comfort for you.
And that Comforter is the Holy Ghost.
The Spirit of Truth.
Right?
Remember he said that?
He told them?
And he lived to his promise.
And he goes out here, he goes, when he said this, right?
His brethren went on to them, and he said to them, he told them, Now, here you go.
Here's the Holy Ghost, like I promised you.
The Comforter.
Right?
And we pray to the Comforter today.
For the Comforter to teach us.
Right?
And he says, whoever Whosoever sins you remit, they are remitted unto them, and whosoever sins you retain, they are retained.
Right?
So your sins that you remit, they're remitted, right?
And the sins that are retained that you still have, right?
They're retained.
So, but Thomas, one of the twelve called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
So, Thomas missed disappearance, the separation, right?
So, the other disciples before said unto him, We have seen the Lord, but he said unto them, Except for I shall see in the hands of the print of the nails, And put my fingers into the print of the nails and thrust my hand into the side, I will not believe.
So, Thomas, remember that?
You ever hear the phrase, Doubting Thomas?
Don't be a Doubting Thomas?
That's where this comes from.
Because Thomas doubted.
He didn't believe the disciples.
They just told him, we're just seeing Jesus.
And he had holes in his hands.
He had a hole in his side where they pierced him, right?
We've just seen him.
And Thomas doubted them.
He goes, well, I need to see it to believe it.
And even when I do see it, I want to put my finger in there to make sure those holes are real.
And thrust my hand to his side to make sure it's real.
Or I will not believe, right?
So, and after eight days again, his disciples were within.
And Thomas was with them, right?
Then came Jesus.
The door's being shut and stood in the midst of said, Peace be unto you.
So now Thomas is there.
Jesus makes it apparent eight days later.
So, Doubting Thomas is no longer a Doubting Thomas because, um, then said to he, to Thomas, so he went right over to Thomas because Jesus knew this, right?
He says, reach your finger.
Take your finger, right?
And behold in my hand, right?
And reach the heather into my hand, right?
And thrust it into the side, and not be faithless, but believe, right?
So, he heard everything, and knew everything that Thomas said, right?
He goes, unless I can put my finger through his hand, and thrust my hand through his side, and I have to see this to believe it, I don't believe you guys.
That you've seen Jesus, right?
Eight days later, Thomas is with the apostles, right?
Jesus appears in the house, right?
Comes right up to Thomas.
He says, oh yeah.
He's like, alright.
You doubted me, right?
I want you to take your finger, put it into my hands.
Put it into the holes of my hands.
Then I want you to take your hand, thrust it into my side.
And be not faithless, but believe.
So Thomas probably, he's probably, you know, his jaw probably dropped, right?
Answered and said to him, my Lord and God, And Jesus said to him, Thomas, because you have seen me, now you believe.
Blessed are they that have not seen, but yet still believe, right?
So, what does that mean?
The people have never seen us, right?
We didn't see this, we didn't witness this, but we believe.
He's saying bless us.
Thomas witnessed this, right?
Now he believes because he witnessed it, right?
He would have never believed it if he didn't see it.
The apostles witnessed this, right?
He's saying this, right?
But blessed are they that have not seen this happen, and they still believe.
I didn't see this happen.
None of us did.
We weren't even alive back then.
But we believe it.
And he's saying, bless us for doing that.
The sad part is, what if Thomas ever believed?
In the very fact, all the stuff they've been through, why would they doubt Jesus?
They literally had to see this to believe it.
But here we are, 2000, uh, 23 years later, whatever.
I didn't see it.
But I truly 100% believe it.
110% with all my heart and soul.
And he says bless us for that.
And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book.
They witnessed countless, okay, it would probably be novels full, textbook size full of stuff if they wrote down everything.
Years of being with Jesus, right?
And it says many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of the disciples, right?
The disciples witnessed many signs which are not written in this book.
And some of those other signs are written in Matthew, Mark, and Luke.
But in total, it would be giant-sized textbooks if they wrote everything down.
But he says, but these are written that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, that the Son of God, and that believing in him you might have life through his name.
Amen.
And it really gets me, right?
Again, going back to the apostles, right?
All the stuff that they witnessed, right?
And they still could not believe until they actually seen Jesus resurrected.
That's what Gatsby really is.
It's like, you guys were on boats in the middle of storms.
He comes to them.
Walked on water.
Had you walk on water with him.
Gave you power to do things for him, right?
Witnessed devils flee in his name.
All this marvelous stuff.
Healed people.
Rose people from the dead.
Seen supernatural apparitions.
You've seen Moses on the mountain.
With Elias, talking to Jesus in the Spirit.
Jesus transfigured into the Spirit.
He brought them up on Mount Olives, right?
Transfigured into the Spirit.
And talked to Moses and Elias.
And they're sitting there watching this thing.
Now Moses and Elias have been dead for thousands of years.
And they're seeing this whole happen right in front of them, right?
That should have been it, right?
Raised from the dead, and like... Until they had the deceit to believe it.
But here we are, 2023 years, and I'm not saying we're better than them.
I'm not, at all.
But they were there to see this.
But it took them to see his resurrected body to believe it, right?
And today you got clowns out there, right?
Oh, yeah.
Doubters.
Doubting Thomases, right?
Oh, I have to see it to believe it.
If you show me this, whatever, and Jesus appears, then I'll believe it.
That's what a lot of people do.
Scarfers and all that, right?
I don't need to see that because I truly 100% believe it.
I've witnessed the power of Jesus Christ.
I witness the power of God in the Holy Spirit.
On many occasions, spiritual warfare applications and everything else.
And I'm sure a lot of you guys here have it as well.
And one day we will see this stuff, guys.
We will meet Jesus in the Spirit.
And He's gonna show us all these things.
But He says, bless the people that have not been here, That do believe.
You guys have been here.
You guys seen everything and you still didn't believe it until I showed you.
I had to come back from the dead to show you.
Hey, this is me.
But the people that never seen this stuff.
They believe it wholeheartedly.
Blessed are them.
So blessed is everybody out there right now that believes in Jesus Christ.
And believe that this happened.
Amen.
So we got a couple chapters left, guys.
And we'll see you for chapter 21.
