truthradioshow.com Shalom and welcome to the Dan Bedani Show on truthradioshow.com Welcome to the book of John chapter 14.
So if you missed chapters 1 through 13, please go back in our playlist and watch them or go to truthradioshow.com and click on Bible study series and they're all right there.
So what we do is an in-depth comprehensive study of the Bible in chapter by chapter.
So in this case today we're at chapter 14 and what we do is a specific Bible study approach for new listeners here.
Well, we start off by praying for wisdom and understanding, so let's do this right now.
So, Jesus, here's your Messiah, we come to you once again.
And please forgive us all of our individual sins and trespasses.
And we ask you to make us pure before the Father.
We thank you so much for going to Calvary for us.
Thank you so much for the sacrifice you made for us.
And what we're learning today, which we learned in the last chapter, 13 and 14, where you're about to go to Calvary, in the Scriptures, yeah.
So we're forever grateful for that.
We accept you Lord to our hearts and souls.
We love you with all our hearts and souls.
And Heavenly Father, we ask you to give us the Holy Spirit to write your word upon our hearts.
To teach us your word directly from the source.
And I pray tonight, for everybody out there that's going through any kind of anguish, or any pain, or anything like that, mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, whatever the case, we pray that you come for them, and pray that you heal them, and give us courage, Lord, give us encouragement, strength, and everything that we need to conquer the enemy, and stand for you, Lord.
In your precious name, we pray, Amen.
So that being said, guys, we read description context, because context is key.
That's why we study the chapters by chapters.
We don't bounce around the Bible.
We don't frog hop all over the Bible like mainstream religions do.
We study the Bible in context, chapter by chapter.
And we let description interpret itself.
Let the Holy Spirit speak to us.
Let description interpret scripture.
So, that being said guys, turn to chapter 14 if you've got a Bible.
And if you don't, it's on the screen.
And those on shakeawakeradio.com, thank you for tuning in on Annie's channel here.
And so, if you've got a Bible, because it's audio, definitely open up this Bible.
John chapter 14.
So, where we left off, we left off on chapter 13, where the hour is coming.
That Jesus knew Judas was going to betray Him, right?
So when he gave him sap, which is toast, and Satan entered into Judas, and Jesus told him, hey listen, go do what you have to do, go.
And the apostles didn't understand that, so they thought Judas went out to buy food for the feast and buy food for the poor.
But not knowing that Judas was heading over to the private synagogue or whatever, to tell the priests and all that where Jesus was.
To turn him in.
And we had left off with Peter saying like, you know, because Jesus said, where I go right now, you can't come right now.
Where I'm gonna go, you can't come right now, but you will come afterwards.
And Peter's like, well, and he says, why can't I follow you right now?
I'll lay down my life for your sake, right?
And Jesus answered him and said, will you though?
Will you lay down your life for my sake?
And verily, verily, I say unto you, the cock shall crow, not crow, I'm sorry, the cock will not crow until you have denied me three times.
What does that mean?
We're going to find out in this coming chapter.
He says, which is the rooster, right?
It will not crow until you deny me three times.
Right?
Keep that in mind.
So, chapter 14, verse 1 here.
Jesus goes on to say, Let not your heart be troubled.
You believe in God, and believe also in me.
In my Father's house are many mansions, and if it were not so, I would have not told you.
I go to prepare the place for you.
That's why I told Peter, you can't come with me right now.
Because he's going there to prepare a place for him, us, all of us.
That's why nobody's there at the resurrection.
We have to wait for the resurrection.
If we pass away, like the Bible says, we go to Abraham's bosom.
Into paradise, right?
And at the resurrection, that's when we're going to be with him.
Or if we're still alive, and we see the coming of him, we're gonna see the resurrection, and then we'll be caught up right with him.
And no, it's not a pre-tribulation rapture, by the way, it's dispensation of his life.
Yeah, he goes immediately after the tribulation that we're gonna get into, right?
So, anyway, because in my father's house are many mansions, and if it was not so, I would have never told you that.
I go there to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you on tonight's set myself.
That where I am, you may be also.
That you may be also, right?
So, I will come again.
And that could be any time, guys.
As we're heading, because he has a thing.
When he comes back, he lays down the detailed prophecy before he returns.
And we understand that people in the pre-tourism religion, right, they believe Jesus came back in 70 AD and all is fulfilled.
If that was the case, no evil would be left alive on the planet.
Not the other thing.
So pre-tourism is a big lie, guys.
It's a big porky, like David Carrico likes to say.
That's NYSTV.org there.
So, yeah.
And he goes again, he says, I'm gonna go prepare a place for you, right?
And I will come back again and receive you unto myself.
And where I am, you may be also.
And whether I go, no.
Where I go, you know.
And the way, you know.
So, in other words, the ways to me, where I go, you know.
I'm going to the kingdom, the right hand of God.
God's kingdom, right?
And Thomas said unto him, Lord, we know not where you're going, and how can we know thy way?
Come on, really, Thomas?
That's right, I would look at Thomas if I was you.
I was like, Thomas, really, dude?
After all he's taught you and all that, and you're one of his apostles, right?
You would not understand what he's saying?
You know what I mean?
Come on, dude.
I'm sure, like, Jesus looked at him and was like, yeah, dude, get with it, alright?
In a nice way, you know what I mean?
So Thomas said to him, Lord, we know not where you're going.
And how can we go your way, right?
And Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father but by me.
Do you get it now, Thomas?
Okay?
Do you get what he's saying?
That's what Jesus said.
You do not understand.
After all you've been through, after all you've seen me do, you do not get it, what I'm trying to tell you.
And if you had known me, you should have known my father also.
And from henceforth you know him and have seen him.
Because you've seen me.
You've seen the father.
Like he said in the last chapter, right?
He goes, if you've seen me, you've seen the father.
Come on, Thomas, get with it, dude.
You know what I mean?
That's what he's saying to him.
Get with it.
Do you understand us now?
And Philip said unto him, Lord, show us the father.
I don't even know what that means.
Oh yeah, sufficious.
In other words, satisfying us.
In other words, it proves to us.
To prove it to us, show us the Lord.
And Jesus said to him, I have been so long time with you.
I've been here a while with you now, right?
And yet you still do not know me, Philip.
So, Philip's like, well show me the Lord.
Show me the Father, right?
And he goes, dude, I've been here the whole time.
Because he's God in the flesh, right?
I have been here all the time.
And don't you know me yet, Philip?
He that has seen me has seen the Father, he says.
And how can you say then, show us the Father?
So those people out there that think Jesus is not the Father in the flesh, right?
Yes, he is.
He's God manifesting in the flesh.
Now I know it's so hard for most... It is!
It's so hard for most humans to comprehend this because of human limitations.
They can't understand.
How could the Father be in heaven and I'm in the earth and in the flesh at once?
You talk about God here.
Okay?
There's no scientific limitations or laws of physics or anything that exist.
In reality, no, there ain't.
You know what I mean?
So this is a spiritual application, man.
Like this, you really need to comprehend this.
So he's telling Philip, and now this is Philip that's been with him the whole time, right?
And I understand it's hard for people to comprehend now.
But mind you, this is Philip who's been there with him for years, right?
Jesus said it.
I have been with you a long time.
And yet, you do not know me, Philip?
He that see me has seen the Father.
I just showed you if I am the Father in the flesh.
And a son.
And how could you say, show us the Father?
Believe though that not I am in the Father, and the Father is in me.
So you don't believe this?
He's saying, you don't believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in me?
The words that I speak unto you, I speak not for myself, but the Father that dwells in me, he does the works.
You're looking at him, Peter!
I mean, yeah, Philip, you're looking at him, that's what he's saying.
Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me, or else believe me for the very work's sake.
That's all of us too, guys.
We need to believe that... Him and the Father... He's in the Father and the Father's in Him.
And He just says, Verily, Verily, I say unto you... No, it's listen to me, Peter.
Ah, I keep saying Peter.
Listen to me, Philip.
Okay?
That's what He's saying.
Listen.
Verily, Verily, right?
That's what He's saying to you.
Listen to me, Philip.
He that believes on Me... The works that I do shall he do also.
And this is why we say emulate Jesus, Father.
Because Jesus says, What I do, you do also.
We, us too.
Not just Philip.
Us, yeah.
Emulate Jesus, the Messiah.
And greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto my Father.
And whatever you shall ask in my name, that I will I do.
That the Father may be glorified in the Son.
And if you ask anything in my name, I will do it.
And now guys, before people even take it to another step.
Out of realm, right?
Oh, well, I'll ask you in your name for a brand new Ferrari or a million dollars in my bank account or something like that, right?
No, that's not how it works.
He's not a genie like that.
He could do that, yeah, but he's not going to do that.
That's not how this works.
You need that, yeah.
If you need food, you need some money to pay stuff, whatever.
You know, things like that.
He'll give it to you.
And you gotta believe.
You gotta ask for his name and he'll do it.
Especially if it glorifies him, he's gonna give it to you.
And again, for those people in the prosperity doctrine.
That's like the mega churches out there on TV, guys.
Like to Joel Steens and all them, who have billions of dollars, right?
And their churches are worth more than a whole entire neighborhood or something.
Yeah.
That, those people are jokes.
And they're like, the prosperity doctrine says we all should be rich and all that.
No, that's not what he's saying.
Technically, we're supposed to flee riches.
Be humble.
You know, you're not humble riding around in $120,000 cars while the people go to your church.
Or scraping by with a caravan that's, you know, 15 years old.
So yeah, ask him his name, he's saying, right?
Ask him my name and I will do it.
And if you love me, keep my commandments.
And yes, the commandments, we get to this all the time.
The commandments, his two great commandments are the hangers of the ten commandments.
As he goes on to say, keep my commandments, because him and the Father are one, right?
That's ten commandments in there, too.
And we're going to prove that as we go through these sections here.
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another comfort on that he may abide with you forever.
Now he has a cool thing, right?
Now, this here is the Holy Spirit.
Now, be careful!
Remember I told you, I don't know if you listened to the last couple chapters, that churches, or religions, they'll take a couple Bible verses out of one chapter, right?
Flip to another book, or whatever, to make it fit their agenda.
I talk about this all the time, right?
Now, okay, Islam, and the Church of Mormons, and many other religions, they do this, right?
Now, check this out, right?
Because of Muhammad, because of Joseph Smith, and all these so-called prophets that came along after, right?
They will use this verse, right?
But they won't use the rest of this.
Now, Jesus talked about the Holy Spirit.
He's not talking about Mohammed and Joseph Smith or anything like that, right?
But what they'll do, and they'll say, well, they'll like Joseph Smith especially.
Oh, Jesus prophesies of his coming.
And Islamic people tell you, oh, Jesus prophesies of the coming of Mohammed.
And they'll use this verse.
John chapter 14, 16.
That another comforter We'll come, right?
You refer to it like another prophet or something?
No.
There's no other prophets after this.
No other prophets come after this.
Yes, we have.
Understand, yeah.
In these modern day times, we'll dream dreams and have visions and all that, prophecy.
But we're talking about prime prophets, like Moses, Elijah, and all that.
And John the Baptist, whatever.
But after this here, when Jesus leaves, there's no more prophets or nothing like that on the planet, on Earth.
He goes, I will give you another comforter, that he may abide with you forever.
Now, when I talk about, like, very important, right?
This is what we preach this all the time.
Read the description context.
Context is key, right?
The description of the scripture.
Remember that?
Yeah.
Let's make this very abundantly clear, right?
So next time somebody from Islamic faith or the Church of Mormons, whoever, A few other different religions too.
Don't throw this verse in your face.
Oh look, Jesus says, there's another one coming.
Right?
Tell them, hold on one second, right?
When they give you John chapter 14, 16, right?
Or they give you the Matthew, Mark, Luke verse, right?
You tell them, do this, before you go any further, and tell the person at your door or wherever, right?
Tell them, I encourage you, before you go any further, to read the rest of it.
Go to John chapter 14, verse 16, and read on after that.
And read it out loud, right?
And I gotta read.
Even the spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive because it sees him not, neither knows him.
But you know him and he dwelt with you and shall be within you.
Right?
I will not leave you comfortless.
I will come to you.
Yet little while the world sees me no more, but ye shall see me, because I live and ye shall also.
Right?
Let me ask you a question.
Is Mohammed or Joseph Smith any of them?
Do they dwell in you?
No, they were physical people on this earth.
As Charles Spurgeon pointed this out, right?
The spirit of truth, right?
What is the spirit of truth?
The world can't see it or not receive it because it doesn't see it.
Him.
And it refers to the Holy Spirit as him, not her.
Note to you people in the Kabbalah and all that stuff.
And it's pure blasphemy what they say.
They say the Holy Spirit is a feminine spirit named Sophia or whatever.
That is pure blasphemy.
Very clear that the Holy Spirit is a male.
As Jesus says right here.
Even the Spirit of Truth, that's the Holy Spirit, whom the world cannot receive.
Because it sees him not.
Him.
Neither knoweth Him.
They don't know the Holy Spirit.
But you know Him.
For He dwells within you and shall be in you.
That's the Holy Spirit, guys.
We prayed right now when we started this show.
We prayed for that.
For God to give us the Holy Spirit to teach us the right to swear it upon us.
The Holy Spirit is in with us right now, guys.
The world can't see it.
The world doesn't even know it.
And the coolest thing too, right?
You got these blokes out there, right?
They brag about being experts in the Bible.
Because they got all the degrees and everything else.
So-called Bible scholars, right?
I say this all the time.
You cannot learn the Bible through academia.
It's a spiritual application.
The Holy Spirit, right?
The Spirit who's right there?
All the professors, priests, and religious leaders in the world combined, okay?
Colleges, and universities, and seminary schools, and all that, combined, have nothing on the Holy Spirit.
That's why we pray for the Holy Spirit to teach us.
To write this Word upon our hearts.
I love the Holy Spirit, I really do.
Yeah, I really do, because the Holy Spirit has shown me so much, and it's amazing.
And if you can feel the Holy Spirit within you, it's a blessing.
Mind you, the world can't see it or receive it because they don't know it.
Even so-called Bible scholars sometimes, not all, there's some real good ones out there.
And I'm not discouraging anybody from becoming one, but don't rely on academia, that's what I'm trying to say.
If you rely on the Holy Spirit, you will learn better than any college or university.
Jesus is saying, like, right?
Yeah, let's go back, right?
And now his time's coming, sure, right?
He's gonna leave this world, right?
And he goes, I will pray to the Father, and he shall give you another comforter.
Because right now, when he's in this time in history, right, in the Bible, Jesus is the comforter.
So he goes, I will pray that the Father will give you another comforter, that he may abide with you forever.
Right?
Right?
Even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive because it sees him not and knows him not.
But you know him, for he dwells within you and shall be in you.
That's the Holy Spirit, guys.
Amen.
Charles Spurgeon pointed this out big time.
Now, I don't know if anybody studied Charles Spurgeon.
I don't know too much about the man.
But he was one of the famous preachers.
This guy was against, what I was just talking about, being against learning the Bible through academia and all that.
He was the same way.
He confronted people who were claiming to be experts in the Bible and all that.
He pointed out, too, that the Holy Spirit needs to be the teacher, not a university.
And he brings us up with this spiritual warfare book, whatever the case.
I should have brought the quote up.
Actually, let me see if I can.
So here we go, guys.
I just added it in the show here.
So let me get the slide for you.
So Charles Spurgeon points this out, right?
Now, Charles Spurgeon brings this verse up, right?
1416, right?
About another comforter.
So, there it is right there, John 1416 at the bottom.
16 at the bottom.
It says, And I will pray to the Father that he shall give you another comforter that he may abide with you.
Right?
Now, Charles Spurgeon, right, in his book, Holy Spirit Power.
It's a small little book and I encourage people to buy it.
It's pretty cool.
It's real cheap on eBay, Amazon, whatever.
And I encourage people to pick this up.
But he says, right there in this book, pages 8 and 9, he goes on to say that the Holy Spirit is as teacher.
He says that Jesus Christ had been the official instructor of his saints.
Talk about the apostles, right?
While he was on earth.
They called no man rabbi except for Christ.
They sat at Not at the feet of men to learn the doctrines, but they had heard the doctrines directly from the lips of him who spoke as no other man ever spoken.
Right?
And this is Charles Spurgeon's famous, and we have read the same thing.
You know, the apostles and the followers there, they wouldn't listen to the rabbis or anything like that.
They would listen directly from the lips of Jesus, right?
So when Christ was to leave, and that's where we are in the scriptures right now, right?
He's about to leave.
Charles Purchase says, when Christ was to leave, where would people find another infallible teacher?
Where would they go?
Should they go to a Pope in Rome?
At the time they didn't exist though, but he's just making a point.
Should people go to the Pope of Rome to be the infallible oracle?
Or should they lean on the consuls of a church to decide all naughty points?
So he's saying, where should people go after Jesus left?
Should they go to religious leaders?
And he goes on to say, Christ said no such thing.
Then he brings up in page 9, right?
Who the Comforter is.
Right there, the Comforter, page 9 there.
He puts what Jesus says.
Not out of Charles Spurgeon's own words, right?
He puts what Jesus said.
I will pray to the Father, you shall give you another comforter, that he may abide within you.
And which when we go on here, he says, right?
Even the spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because the world can't see or know him.
Thank you.
Thank you.
The Holy Spirit.
The Spirit of Truth.
For He dwells within you and shall be with you.
Right?
Plain and simple.
So, let there be no controversy.
This verse here is not talking about Muhammad.
It's not talking about Joseph Smith.
Not talking about nobody.
No man.
It's talking about the Holy Spirit.
So, next time some bloke brings this up to you To say, oh, this is Jesus saying, uh, it's coming to Muhammad or whatever.
Or, um, Joseph Smith or whatever.
You tell him, no, why don't you read verse 17 and get back to me?
Yeah.
Read it in context.
That's what they, you know, religious don't want you to do.
So, this is Jesus telling him, hey, listen.
Yeah.
The Comforter is gonna come after I leave here, at this point, right?
He's not crucified yet, right?
When I leave, there's gonna be another Comforter.
And that's the Holy Spirit.
Right?
He goes, I will not leave you comfortless.
I will come to you.
Yet little while, and the world sees me no more, but you see me because I live and you shall live also.
You get that?
What's that saying?
The world's not gonna physically see him no more.
That's why you don't see any of these miracles being done anymore.
Because we're past that point now.
Now we live by faith.
We don't need to perform these miracles no more.
Because God's done it enough coming down in the flesh.
And He still does it here in that.
He still helps us out in all that.
I see miraculous things.
But He doesn't really need to do that.
You know, He sacrificed Himself for us.
And He goes on to say in verse 20, That today you shall know that I am in the Father, and the Father is in me, and I am in you.
Do you get what this is saying?
The Holy Spirit's in you, right?
He's in the Father, and the Father's in Him, and they are in us.
It's all one thing.
God, the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
They're of one Spirit, guys.
That's what he's clearly saying right there.
Again, he says, at the day you shall know that I am in the Father, right?
Thank you.
The Father's in me and I in you, right?
After you just got done saying He's not going to leave you comfortless.
He's going to send the Spirit of Truth.
That's the Holy Spirit.
That's in the Father and the Son.
And they're in each other.
He has my commandments and keeps them.
He that, I'm sorry, that has my commandments and keepeth them He is that loveth me, and that loveth me shall be loved of my Father.
and I will love him and I will manifest myself to him.
So you talk about, we have his commandments, right?
And keep them.
And yes, there's the Ten Commandments too.
His two great commandments are the Ten Commandments.
Rolled into two.
They're the hangers of the Ten.
Then he goes on later on to say, to keep the commandments of God.
So there's no way around it, you're not getting around the Ten Commandments.
If you're a follower of Jesus, right?
And here's the hypocrisy of these people, right?
They'll say, oh, Jesus, we already follow those two great commandments, the Ten Commandments for the Jews.
Really?
Hold on, as a Christian, right?
Aren't you not grafted into God's Israel?
Right?
You claim to be more grafted into God's Israel, right?
Yeah.
So therefore, spiritually you're a Jew!
If you want to put it that way, spiritually you have to follow the technical merits.
And if you want more proof of this, if you go to Deuteronomy chapter 18, right?
When God's physical, when He reigned here physically on the earth for Israel, right?
The country of Israel, right?
What do you tell people from other lands?
You're more than welcome to come into Israel.
You're more than welcome to become part of Israel, right?
He said that, right?
But if you do, you leave out the abominations of those nations.
The witchcraft, sacrifice, all that stuff, you leave out all those abominations.
You do not bring it into God's land, right?
So, let me ask you Christians out there, that you claim that the Ten Commandments don't apply to us.
You claim that we're, yeah, we all could agree that we're grafted in God's Israel, right?
This is a spiritual kingdom, alright?
So what makes you think that you're not supposed to abide by his laws?
When he ruled over the physical Israel, right?
He told you, don't bring abominations to my kingdom, right?
My king, I mean, nation, right?
And you have to follow the laws there, right?
Let me use this for example, right?
If you were to move to Cuba right now, right?
Doesn't matter where you're from, move to Cuba, right?
What would happen if you violated one of Cuba's laws?
You'd be arrested.
Or if you moved to the United States, yeah, you violated one of our laws, you'd be arrested, right?
The same application, guys.
So what makes you, in the world, think that you could get to God's kingdom and not have to honor his commandments?
Put that into your common sense for a minute, right?
You are not going to be into the kingdom of God if right now you can't keep his commandments?
What makes you think that?
Oh, we're saved by grace, right?
Yeah, we see as we are.
But grace is not a free pass to transgress the law.
What is sin?
The Bible defines sins as what?
Transgression of the law.
Violating the law.
We're only supposed to repent, right?
Because this dispensation, guys, has clouded the minds and souls of the modern day Christian.
It is sickening to believe that the Ten Commandments do not apply to you.
Well, guess what?
They don't apply to you, you're not getting into the Kingdom of God.
Because the Bible says clearly, right?
Jesus himself says, no lawlessness will be tolerated in the Kingdom of God.
You will not enter the Kingdom of God if you practice lawlessness.
So if you right now think, well, I can violate the Ten Commandments, I'm going to heaven anyway.
Without repenting.
You got another thing coming.
You got to be part of those people that go through that white gate into hell, that are like a fire.
You know what?
Don't take my word for it.
Read it yourself.
Plain and simple.
And he says, He that keeps my commandments, has my commandments, keep them.
He that loves me and loves me shall be loved by the Father.
And I will love him and he will manifest himself into him.
So Judas said unto him, not Ascariot, Lord, how is it that thou will manifest thyself unto us, and not into the world?
And Jesus answered him, so he's asking, how is it?
How is it that you will manifest thyself unto us and not into the world?
So in other words, he's like, well, hold on, hold on a second.
If you're going to be in us, obviously we're in the world, right?
So how could you be in us and not in the world?
So they can't comprehend.
He can't comprehend us.
So, because right now we're physically in the world, right?
But we know Jesus is with us.
He's not in the world, but he's in with us.
Because we, our bodies are the temple.
Our souls, okay?
Our souls are not in this world.
So Jesus answered and said to him, right?
If a man loves me, right?
He will keep my words.
And my father will love him.
And we will come unto him and make our abode with him.
The Holy Spirit will abide within us, guys.
We, okay?
That's the Holy Spirit.
The Father and Son, all will abide within you.
So he that loves me and doesn't keep my sayings, the word which he has heard not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
I'm sorry, you're not saiyans, I'm sorry.
Let me read that again.
So he's saying, I'm speaking to you now at the time, right?
my sayings, and the word which you have heard is not mine, but the Father's which sent me, right?
These things I have spoken unto you being yet present with you.
So he's saying, I'm speaking to you now at the time, right?
He's telling Judas, I'm speaking to you now, and I'm present with you right now, right?
But the comforter, which is the whole, there it is right there, And if you want any more clarification, right?
So next time... I knew it was in there somewhere.
Because this could, you know, even the Spirit of Truth could be open for interpretation, right?
This is why I love the Scripture, right?
This is right here, perfect example of this.
Let the Scripture interpret Scripture, right?
So you didn't need me to tell you who the Spirit of Truth is.
The Scripture just told you.
I love this, man.
I really do.
I didn't even pre-read this.
I just do this accordingly.
Like, I just do it, but I learn it myself as we go along.
So, again, next time when somebody says, oh, this is a talk about Muhammad or Joseph Smith or whatever, tell them to read 17 and go back and tell them to read, yeah, Who the Comfort is.
The Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father was sent in my name.
He shall teach you all things.
And right now, guys, we are being taught by the Holy Spirit.
I gotta put this verse in that little picture I made with Charles Spurgeon.
Actually, let me write that down real quick.
Let's see, John 14.
Right there!
The Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost.
This proves everything we just said, guys.
We've been teaching since we started with the book of Matthew.
Actually, Jude, really.
But we... I started off with Matthew all the way up to now, right?
I've been saying this the whole time.
The Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost.
And I've been saying that He will teach us.
That's what we pray for every show.
We pray for the Holy Ghost to teach us, right?
And Jesus says, with His own words right here, in red.
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, that's the Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost, right?
Whom the Father was sent in my name, he shall teach you all things.
Today, right now, as we speak, the Holy Spirit is teaching me, you, and everybody here listening, these things right now.
And bring all things to your remembrance.
So whatever I have said unto you.
So again, and I have to emphasize this, because this verse right here, verse 16, Many religions, there's other religions too out there, that whoever their prophet is, whatever, you know, so-called prophet, whatever, yeah, they're fake messiah, they'll use us.
A lot of context, they'll just take that one verse and jump to another part of the Bible, maybe, that might sound something like they're trying to support, but it's not.
Tell them to read the rest.
Tell them, next time somebody brings it up, say, alright, read, I want you to read all the way down to chapter, just read the rest of the chapter.
That's it.
So next time a Jehovah Witness or a Mormon comes to your door, say, hey!
And you ask them, say, well, how do I know Joseph Smith is a prophet?
Well, Jesus told you so.
And then they'll bring this up.
If you look over, you know, this is how they deceive a lot of people.
If you go to John chapter 14, verse 16, right?
It talks about another comforter.
Then they'll somehow construe it over to the Book of Mormon, right?
Or an Islamic text, so they'll use this for us and construe it over to the Quran or something, right?
Or whatever else, religion, right?
You tell them, hold on, before we go in there, right?
You tell them, say, before you go, right?
Let's say, before we get any further, right?
You tell them, I want you to read, read that verse out loud, right?
Go to John 14, 16, right?
You tell them, read it out loud, and read through the rest of the chapter.
Don't let them sidetrack you, don't let them try to sway you to another part of the Bible, or another book, or anything like that, no.
Or another, uh, you know, uh, well, they're false gospels, right?
No, tell them to redo the chapter before we go any further.
And when they get past verse 26, the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, which the Father sent in my name, He shall teach all things and bring all things to your remembrance whatsoever I have said unto you.
Boom!
Right there!
You stop him right there and say, now tell me again that's Joseph Smith or Muhammad or whatever.
Have a good day.
And watch that mouth drop, because I brought this up to, uh, not this in particular, there was, um, a woman I used to work with, right?
She, um, she was, uh, not a Mormon, a Jehovah Witness, right?
So I forgot what chapter, whatever that was, and she was saying that Moses, or something like that, I think it was, that...
The Watchtower, that's that doctrine, right?
Brings up that verse, and they take that one verse out of context.
That Moses said, there's no such thing as afterlife.
You either die, and you don't go to hell, because they don't believe in hell.
You just die, that's it, right?
And that's it.
You just die if you're bad, and when you're alive, you just go right to heaven or something, right?
So you're like, well, I read it.
And I'm like, all right.
She's like, do me a favor, ma'am.
I was like, read that verse out loud and read up until, I think it was four or five more verses.
Just read the whole thing, right?
She read it throughout her mouth dropped.
Because all the time the Watchtower told her that verse, right?
And she's never read it in context.
So when she kept reading it, it was a few verses after where Moses, I think it was Moses, said, the second death is hell.
Literally.
And Hades, whatever it was.
And the second life is heaven, right?
And her mouth dropped and said, please read that again.
She goes, oh my.
She goes, I, I, I, you know, she was dumbfounded.
And I was like, see, I told you that.
You know, like, they take, these religious take things out of context.
She was baffled.
And I hope and pray that she came, and I really believe she did.
She came to Jesus.
Because these people in these religions, they're twat.
They'll take Bible verses out because they know it is in the Bible, right?
Like this, right?
They'll take it out of context.
They specifically do this.
All religions are guilty of this.
That's why I don't follow no religions.
I'm following Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit's my teacher.
Not a pastor or a priest or a 700 Club clown or a false prophet Joelstein or a pedophile Pope or anything like that.
The Holy Spirit is my teacher.
You know, it's good.
The coolest part about this, I've always believed that.
Even before I even got to understand this, or even read Charles Spurgeon, I've always believed that.
Because the Holy Spirit speaks to us, guys.
The Holy Ghost.
And again, he goes on to say, "...but the comforter of which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name." He shall teach you all things, as we're doing it right now, guys.
And bring all things to your remembrance, whatever I have said unto you.
So when we get to an argument, not an argument, you know, debates are healthy.
Never back off from a debate because it keeps you sharp.
But be friendly, you know?
But when you bring up Scripture, right?
This fulfills it, right there.
You remember that all things that Jesus told us.
And the Holy Spirit brings it out to you.
That's why in the end times, right, when Jesus says, right, when we get brought up for trial, because at the end they're going to be massacring us Christians, right?
They're going to be bringing us up for trial, right?
He said, the scripture says, right, don't meditate over what you're going to say.
In other words, while you're waiting to see the judge or something, don't say, all right, I'm going to say this, I'm going to say that.
You know, don't think about what you're going to say.
Just let the Holy Spirit speak to you.
This is so powerful, it really is.
So, verse 27, peace I leave with you.
My peace I give unto you, not as the world gives unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
So, I want to bring up a little quick thing, too.
Sorry to sound like I'm all over the place, but it's all relevant.
And it's just coming to me, you know?
It says, my peace I give unto you, right?
Not as the world gives, right?
What is the world doing right now?
The world's offering peace, right?
It's not the same peace as what Jesus could give us.
This is fake peace.
The world's peace.
The United Nations, right?
The United Nations, the Club of Rome, all these global organizations, right?
They're offering world peace.
They have one world religion right now, the ecumenical movement, hundreds of religions under the Pope.
World peace, world peace, world peace, right?
No, it's not peace at all.
The only peace that comes, the real peace, comes from Jesus himself.
That's it.
The world cannot give you peace.
Any president, whoever says we give you peace, you tell them to stick it.
The only peace that comes, the real peace, is from Jesus.
There's a clown coming out of a temple, there's an Antichrist person, he's gonna presume the world peace, right?
Don't believe him.
Because the only peace that comes is through Jesus.
Plain and simple.
The real Messiah.
When he comes through the clouds.
But he says, peace I leave to you, peace I give to you.
Not as the world gives.
Give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled.
Neither let it be afraid.
And guys, don't be afraid of these people.
Jesus says, don't let your heart be troubled by what's going on in the world right now.
The famines, all the pestilence, all the wars going on.
Matthew 24 coming true right now guys.
Don't let your heart be troubled by it.
Don't be afraid.
And why would you be afraid?
We got the Almighty Lord within us.
The Holy Spirit, God, and Jesus himself.
And the Scripture says, fear not what the world can do to you.
You know, man can do to you, I'm sorry.
And if I am with you, who can be against you?
That alone should give you comfort.
And we got the Holy Spirit in us, so that's all the comfort that, you know, to give you courage to steal.
Verse 28 says, you have heard now I said unto you, I go away and I come again unto you.
If you love me, you would rejoice because I said, I go unto the Father for my Father is greater than I.
And now I have told you before it comes to pass, that when it is come to pass, you might believe.
So this is probably mere hours before he's... Jesus here, in a timeline, he's brought into captivity, right?
And he goes on, Hereafter I will not talk much with you.
So, yeah, I'm telling you this now, but I'm not going to be able to talk much with you anymore.
For the Prince of this world's comments, it has nothing in me.
But the world may know that I love the Father.
And as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do.
Arise and let us go hence.
Let us go therefore.
Hence, yeah.
So, truly amazing stuff, really is.
It's a lot of context in this stuff.
That's what I like to do, is just bring it along.
Whatever comes to your mind, that's... The thing is that the stuff that does come to your mind, that's the Holy Spirit reaching out to you.
Because you can see how clearly, right?
This plays into even today.
You know what I mean?
Absolutely amazing.
I can't wait to get to chapter 15.
So that's chapter 15.
I believe that's where he is actually captured and all that.
So in this timeline right now, he's literally within hours of his captivity.
Of Judas Iscariot, leading the Jewish leaders to where he is.
To turn him in.
So I hope you enjoyed the broadcast today, guys.
And again, I can't emphasize this stuff enough.
That's why every show I got to tell you this Bible study approach.
I got this from John Hall.
He's a host of Now You See TV there.
In remnant restoration with his wife, Patricia.
And, um, I've been sticking to this ever since.
This is why it's very important, guys.
We need to pray, have the Holy Spirit teach us.
And today wasn't me teaching, guys.
I don't give no credit to myself.
Today, what you learn is from the Holy Spirit.
I am just a speaker, a messenger, I'm a servant of the One.
That's it.
I'm not a pastor, priest, a prophet, an apostle, any of that at all.
I am a servant of the Lord, and I welcome the Holy Spirit to come into me to teach me and you as well.
So remember this Bible study approach, guys.
And remember that this is your only plan, you should be trusting Him.
I made this a while ago, because there was a thing called QAnon.
Yeah, a bunch of... Yeah, I'll be nice.
Yeah, a bunch of communists that hijacked the truth movement.
And so, yeah.
And they were trying to say, trust the plan.
That they were going to save the United States and all that.
No, the only person that's going to save the world is Jesus.
Not them.
So it inspired me to tell people, don't trust Q. Trust the plan.
The real plan.
It's God's.
Not some phony people, some psyops.
So don't take my word or anybody else's word for it, guys.
Read it for yourself.
And when we get done here, please go read this chapter by yourself.
And also, if you think I missed something or anything like that, go into the comments section and let me know.
Any questions, comments, or anything like that, put it in the comments section.
And I'll get back to you.
So check out my website guys, truthradioshow.com And again, I upgraded the website and just for, it's easier for people to follow now.

So, yeah.
Complete book of Matthew, Mark, and Luke.
And we're going to start with John here.
And we're going to move on all the way up through the Bible.
